Britany Smith(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-04-2018 Did not love the food (catering must be done by them) but everything else was perfect the room was better than I could imagine they worked with me and my planner to change things if we did not like the set up they were super friendly and easy to work with... Ashley Malchow(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-10-2015 We had our ceremony in the chapel behind the museum and our reception in Heritage Hall inside the museum. Our coordinator (Jessie) and caterer (Lindsay) were super helpful, fielded all of our calls/emails with a smile, and were very accommodating. They helped us a TON with set-up and coordination on the day of too. All of the staff who were in charge of setting up the room were very kind, helpful, and professional. The price for the venue includes additional time for the rehearsal and they charge a reasonable price for a dance floor. You HAVE to use their caterer, including for any alcohol service. With our wedding we only had two small bumps that, overall, were not big issues, but are worth mentioning. First, the reception staff were told that we would be out two hours before we were actually scheduled to leave! They tried getting everyone to leave, but when we informed them of the error they let us stay the rest of our time with no issue. Second, there was another event going on downstairs during my reception and some of my guests were unable to leave because they had to wait until that ceremony was over. This was not a huge issue though because it only lasted ~30 minutes and of course the venue has a right to book all of its rooms. I mention this though because it affected my guests and, because we did not realize there was another ceremony, some of my guests were talking outside of the reception hall and the people at the other ceremony likely heard all of it.
