The entire team at Nyack Seaport was truly amazing! We held our wedding at this venue in April 2023 and had a beautiful event. The hospitality and experience of both Tommy and Angelo to hold our event surpassed our wildest expectations. Audrey (our maître d) was incredible! Everything from the menu, to the ceremony, to the reception was outstanding. Angelo communicated everything so well to me and my husband. He organized our event from beginning to end and gave great suggestions for us when it came to planning the reception. Angelo truly cared about making our day special first. Lindsey Fonseca(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-11-2020 We did not end up having our wedding at the Nyack Seaport due to COVID restrictions in New York, but I wanted to give them a review for being awesome through everything. They were so great while we were planning everything before the pandemic and then when we needed to reschedule and then when we needed to cancel. They were flexible when we originally rescheduled and then when we, unfortunately, needed to cancel it due to the number of people allowed at a wedding they were understand and refunded us our deposit. Valicitie and Angelo were honestly just awesome and we really appreciated everything they did for us. If you choose this venue for your event you will not be disappointed and they will take care of you in any way you need. Reviewed on 13-12-2020
Kristin Lawlor(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-10-2019 Valicitie, Angelo, Audrey, and the team at The Nyack Seaport curated a perfect wedding day for my husband and me. Valicitie remembered every detail and personally answered every email, question, and phone call.We were not the easiest couple to work with, as we had recently been disappointed by another venue that fell through. At the beginning, we were cautious and guarded, but the Rubino Family went well above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to assure us that our wedding day would be magical. From our delicious food tasting, to the numerous face-to-face tours and visits, to the prompt communication, to the rainbow that hung in the sky on the day of our wedding, everything felt meant to be. During the planning phase, Valicitie recommended local vendors, including the amazing florists at Basset Flowers and Gifts and the bakers at A Little Cake. She worked behind the scenes with our DJ, photo booth company, photographer, and pianist; we didn't worry about a thing. Both our ceremony and reception were held at The Nyack Seaport. As two people who have grown up near The Hudson, it was deeply meaningful to take photos by the river. As we were saying our vows, the sun was setting behind us over the water. At the end of the night, our photographer took some incredible long-exposure photos with The Mario Cuomo Bridge in the background. Here are just a few more of the ways that The Nyack Seaport honored us on our wedding day:-Our guests with wheelchairs and other special needs received the accommodations and attention they needed to move about the venue safely and enjoy themselves all night-Pre-ceremony, Valicitie personally fixed my husband's boutonniere when it was falling off-Our specialty artisanal cocktail was hand-mixed for each guest-The food featured seasonal Hudson Valley produce and flavors-Our guests all raved about the cocktail hour food and their entrees--no one left hungry!-Guests with special dietary needs (including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) all had entree options and multiple items to choose from at cocktail hour -Audrey was our personal attendant; she quietly noticed our needs before we did, for example by picking up my husband's jacket whenever he took it off while dancing and having it ready when he needed it for cake-cutting photos-Besides our delicious wedding cake from A Little Cake, dessert included a warm apple dumpling and ice creamOther features that made The Nyack Seaport a great choice for us:-Valet parking-Bridal suite-Uplighting available through the venue-Spacious dance floor--a must for us!-Outdoor cocktail hour on the patio-Did we mention that the food was delicious?-Extensive selection of liquors and craft beers-Close enough to the Tarrytown train station to be accessible via rideshare for guests coming from NYC-Great connections with other businesses in the community; Angelo made a few calls on our behalf to local hotels, for exampleIf we haven't given you enough reasons to hold your wedding at The Nyack Seaport, reach out yourself. As soon as you meet the Rubinos and see the space, you will feel the romance, elegance, and love that we felt. Reviewed on 11-11-2019
Jen Stephens(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-12-2018 Nyack Seaport is a hidden gem. We held our recent December wedding there and I can’t say enough about the staff or venue. It is family-owned and they make you feel like one of the family as opposed to a larger impersonal banquet hall. They clearly care about food and are a restaurant style caterer; they were even so accommodating as to have a special meal prepared for my 92 year old grandfather! We held our ceremony there as well, with the Hudson River in the background at sunset. Village of Nyack memorial park is next door and a fantastic spot for photos. Cocktail hour and Viennese hour were great. One thing I also liked about the space is a large dance floor..The wedding coordinator is responsive and thorough. Her assistant and the maitre d were also excellent. The one thing I would flag is if you have disabled guests; there is a ramp on the other side of the building but ensure it is well coordinated with venue that valet automatically directs disabled folks there. All in all, I highly recommend Nyack Seaport as a great spot for a wedding. Reviewed on 19-01-2019
Gabrielle Aufgang(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-05-2018 The Nyack Seaport was the perfect choice for our Memorial Day weekend wedding. Angelo and Valicitie are genuine, professional, organized, accommodating and really everything you would want in a team who is executing your wedding. We met with them a couple of times in the months prior to our wedding, and from the beginning it was clear that we had nothing to worry about. Valicitie answered all of my questions, eased all of my concerns and thought of things when I did not. The day of our wedding, everything was extremely organized, beautiful and really perfect. There were many moving parts (band, florist, caterer, bakery, etc.) and Valicitie handled it all. It was such a pleasure working with the team, I couldn't recommend them more! There are also really beautiful places nearby (walking) on the water to take pictures beforehand if outdoor photos are something you are interested in - location is also perfect. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was, and all dietary restrictions were accommodated (vegan, vegetarian, low-sodium, and pork-free). The view is beautiful and can't be beat. Joanna Raymund(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-08-2015 The Nyack Seaport is a beautiful place to have an event at. The reception room is on the second floor of the building, with an entire wall of huge windows that look out onto the Hudson River and towards the Tappan Zee. It was the perfect balance of elegance that I wanted. The wedding coordinator was very easy to talk to and I appreciated her experience in how things went. My only complaint was that she didn't communicate well through email and that there were a few things we thought she'd coordinate with the DJ that ended up not happening. The food was good, though my family and I noticed that the quality wasn't quite as good as it was when we went in for the tasting. All in all though, it was a great venue and my reception was a blast! Reviewed on 02-10-2015

In order to have the mid-afternoon timeframe we had to choose the platinum package offering which was more expensive than we had originally wanted. We do not regret going over the original budget. The food was incredible. The highlight at this place is cocktail hour. It's incredibly elegant and well done - white glove service with incredible food options like caviar and sushi. The food is just out of this world good, all our guests raved about it. \r\rValicitie was SUCH a pleasure to work with. She planned and coordinated my entire wedding day and it was perfectly timed from start to finish. I did not do any timeline work - all I did was share with her what I wanted (father daughter dance, anniversary dance, no bouquet toss, etc) and she worked with my DJ to come up with a perfect timeline. \r\rHonestly we hope that the Seaport has many other brides in the future that are lucky enough to have their weddings here. After meeting with Valicitie and Angelo we had high expectations for our wedding and they were exceeded! They made sure to go over all the details with us in advance to make sure that we were comfortable with our choices and they didn't mind me calling with questions. We were surprised on the day of our wedding that there was a person on staff whose sole job was to help my new husband and I all night. She brought us drinks, made sure that our food was hot and ready when we wanted to eat, bustled my wedding dress, and even helped me clean the champagne spill from my dress! She made the night that much more special (and that much less stressful).\r\rThe Nyack Seaport is fantastic and such a find! A great value - they are willing to work with your budget but don't want to cut the quality of the event. They accommodated all of our requests and didn't nickle and dime us for everything.
