This venue was our dream. From start to finish the day of the wedding the oaks gave us everything we needed. The venue get ready space is out of this world and the outdoor space is amazing. The owner has thought of every possible thing you need to make a wedding successful and we just are so thankful for the experience and day we had!

This venue was our dream. From start to finish the day of the wedding the oaks gave us everything we needed. The venue get ready space is out of this world and the outdoor space is amazing. The owner has thought of every possible thing you need to make a wedding successful and we just are so thankful for the experience and day we had!

TOAS was a GORGEOUS wedding venue! We've received so many compliments on our venue from our guests. April was great to work with, answering any questions and being responsive. We really felt like we got our money's worth as TOAS were including items in the base price that other venues would charge extra. They also provided a list of their preferred vendors which was super helpful for planning. You do have to work with 2 specific vendors when at TOAS - Southern Skies which they are amazing and Curated Events which I personally would have preferred another company but not major complaints. PLENTY of room on the premises, never felt like our guests were overcrowded and also had lots of options for pictures. Be mindful of transportation as only certain size buses can fit in the driveway (which April includes in a wedding package) With fall/winter weddings, keep at eye on the weather as heaters may be needed but with the tent flaps closed, the heat stay very well inside. I was sweating during out Nov, 55 degree outside wedding. 100% would recommend TOAS.

I knew I didn’t want to tour any other venues. We went straight to the Oaks to meet with April and immediately booked our wedding for the following year (2022). We got married at The Oaks at Salem last weekend and I can not say enough wonderful things about this venue and the team behind it. If you want your wedding to go off without a hitch, book The Oaks like yesterday! It has a wonderful bridal sweet for your entire bridal party to get ready together. It has a great groom suite with a tv so the men can watch football (or whatever else) while they get ready (I may or may not have snuck down there to watch my tigers play while my crew got ready). It has so many options for great photos. It really is a wonderful, wonderful venue. I’m genuinely sad that our day is over. If I could relive it every day, I would.

Wow! The fairytale venue of my dreams! Everything was perfect, this was the first venue we went to look at when we first got engaged, and as soon as we saw it, I knew I did not need to see any others.. this venue is GORGEOUS! Our day of coordinator Laura, was incredible!!!! She was so helpful, and made sure our day ran smoothly. April, the owner, was very responsive the 1000000 times I emailed her to see if I could bring someone from my family to see the venue. This venue was everything, and I am so happy the best day of my life was in the most perfect place! Thank you for everything!!!

Wow! The fairytale venue of my dreams! TOAS is a wonderful wedding venue. I got married here in September 2021 and couldn’t have asked for anything better. The venue has abundant outdoor space with the new overlook patio and gorgeous ceremony site. The bridal suite was large enough to host me and 10 bridesmaids. Aubriana coordinated our wedding and was outstanding!! She was knowledgeable and responded to any questions immediately. On the day of the wedding, she was constantly by our side to help with anything we needed including bustling my dress and making sure we had some time to rest and eat. I can’t say enough great things about Aubriana and TOAS.

The venue is gorgeous with a path that starts at the reception area and winds along the edge of a pond leading to the beautiful ceremony site. The venue coordinator was the best, making sure everything happened as planned. If you are searching for a magical place to create a lifelong memory, I highly recommend The Oaks at Salem. The venue is gorgeous and our wedding day was just perfect. Aubriana was extremely helpful from the moment we booked to the night of the wedding. We had to reschedule twice for covid which was a huge pain. We would have taken a refund had it been offered-which is why I only give 4 stars. However, the day was perfect and I do highly recommend this venue. They're professionalism is what hooked me from the beginning.

The Oaks at Salem is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. As a professional violinist, I have been performing at weddings here for over a decade, and I can say that the property is always impeccable, and the staff is top notch. April and her staff are focused on giving their best, and go above and beyond to make their couple’s dreams come true. Having performed at many places, it is rare to find a venue like the Oaks at Salem that is both beautiful (oh my gosh, it’s so picturesque!), and provides excellent service. My team and I highly recommend it for any event!

The Oaks is a hidden gem in Apex! We worked with several staff members, but primarily with April (owner) and Aubriana (coordinator). The grounds and house are stunning! Both of our families are not native to North Carolina, so the majority of our guests were flying into RDU, it was important to us to secure a location near plenty of things to do, and be in a reasonable distance to the airport. The Oaks at Salem's \"vendor marketplace\" was incredibly helpful to us as we began planning. They had tons of vendor information right within the marketplace. You don't need to pick all of your vendors from their preferred list, but I recommend that you do...they're all great, and are familiar with the property and policies.Aubriana did an awesome job! Months leading up to our day, there were many emails being sent back and forth, and she answered each one in record time. On our wedding day, the forecast was a bit worrisome, Aubriana was flexible with making some decisions on whether or not we needed to move the ceremony under the tent, thankfully, the weather did cooperate, and we had a beautiful ceremony outside. At the reception, if anything did go wrong, neither myself or my husband new about it! We can't thank Aubriana and The Oaks staff enough for such an unforgettable day!We highly recommend The Oaks at Salem!

The Oaks at Salem was hands-down the best venue we could’ve asked for! My husband and I toured ten separate wedding venues in two states and no one had half as much to offer (for an affordable price) like the Oaks. It is a beautiful venue and they really take care of EVERYTHING so you don’t have anything to worry about on your day. The bridal suite is gorgeous and there’s more than enough room to get ready for any sized bridal party. There’s even a vendor barn with all the preferred vendors so it makes it easier to find great additions to your wedding and a bonus that those vendors are already familiar with the venue. So many great places on the property for photos! The oaks includes a day-of coordinator and if you think you don’t need one... think again. Overall I wish I could give the Oaks 10 stars! Our wedding was so perfect and our guests are still raving about how wonderful our venue was.

We are so glad we found The Oaks at Salem. We worked directly with April (owner) and Aubriana was our wedding coordinator. Both were extremely personable and thorough. Not once did I feel lost or ignored. Their consistent treatment and value insured our wedding to be one of the best. It even ended up raining, but the place is so beautiful the rainy day plan looked just as beautiful as if we were to have it outside. They also helped take away every possible stress off the bridal couple's shoulders so that all we needed to focus on were each other.

The Oaks at Salem was the perfect venue for our wedding day! We were able to have the ceremony and reception all in the same location with a beautiful landscape for our big day. The Oaks has a backup plan if the weather is not cooperating and the reception looked so beautiful under the white tent. The Oaks accommodated all of our guests with valet parking and a golf cart for those who were unable to walk to the ceremony site. They have a lot of options for where to host the ceremony. Veni, our wedding coordinator, was helpful in creating the timeline for our day, coordinating the vendors, and ensuring that everything went smoothly. The only things to consider when choosing the Oaks is the rehearsal dinner times and flexibility of the venue. They have Friday night weddings so for a Saturday wedding you are only able to have your rehearsal on Friday morning or Saturday morning. We chose Friday morning, so we would not be rushed on Saturday, and were told we would have the latest time for our rehearsal. Unfortunately, we had an early rehearsal - even before the Friday night wedding party. Additionally, The Oaks hosts a number of other events so there are set times for bridal portraits and for the final venue walk through. This is something I wish I would have known ahead of time instead of after booking the venue. If you have an inflexible schedule this may be something you want to consider. All of that said, I could not have imagined a better venue for our wedding. The day was magical and everything worked out perfectly! The Oaks will always be a special place for us!

The most gorgeous wedding venue!! The price includes a wedding coordinator. Veni was our wedding coordinator, and I cannot say enough great things about her! She made sure our day ran smoothly and timely. I would HIGHLY recommend using them as a venue.

We had a 165 guest wedding ceremony and reception- it could not have gone better! Veni and her team were amazing to work with, very thorough and friendly. Having a plan B built into your wedding contract was huge for us because it rained heavily 30 minutes before our ceremony. It's a beautiful venue, inside and out. The grounds are modern but still have a rustic feel. I'm so glad we chose the Oaks at Salem. Highly recommend!

We got married at The Oaks in June and could not have been happier with our experience. The venue itself is an amazing outdoor oasis. You have tons of acres with beautiful oak trees, large barn, gorgeous pond and overall great scenery. Upon booking we were assigned Veni as our coordinator to help us along in the planning process and on the day of. We cannot say enough great things about her. She was very attentive to detail and very easy to communicate with via email during the whole process. She was amazing on our wedding day, even with a small hiccup that occurred :) She kept everything running smoothly and truly added to what was such a great day for us! My only comment on the venue is the inability to set up personal items the day/evening before. I know the owner lives on the property and they host many different events which hinders this possibility. I think it would be great for brides to have the opportunity to set up day prior or even allow an extra hour in the timeline if there are no events scheduled/conflicts to help reduce some stress on the day of. (this would also allow more time in the amazing bridal suite :) )Overall, this doesn't affect my opinion on the venue and I would recommend it to any bride looking for an amazing outdoor spot to have their wedding celebration! Thank you Veni and April for such a great experience and memory!

The Oaks at Salem was our wedding and reception venue. The grounds and house are immaculate and such a perfect setting for a wedding and reception or any other party needs. There were a lot of things included in the price including most chairs, most tables, some linens, a day of coordinator, use of the property for 10 hours on the day of the wedding, use of the property for engagement pictures/ bridal portraits, a bridal and grooms suite for the day of your event, free valet for your event, and a day of coordinator. That was a great bonus for me so I didn't have to get much extra. The coordinators there are FABULOUS! they will help you with anything and everything. \rThere are a few negatives that we knew going into our event. They have a preferred vendors list to help get you started but you MUST use a caterer off of their list (they also charge caterers 10% of total food bill for a service fee which you end up paying for). The music must end by 10:30 and everyone offsite by 11 pm.\rThey were great and I will gladly recommend them!

April and Joslin are angels sent from above!!! April is the owner of the Oaks and Joslin is the coordinator for your wedding day. We met with April twice before deciding on the Oaks, but our decision was not a hard one to make. The Oaks is BEAUTIFUL. Pictures do not do it justice and it is perfect for your wedding day! I'm convinced that April is always within 5 feet of her phone b/c when you email her, you will get a response AND SOON! She's quick and always has an answer for you. Joslin and her are great with helping you picture your wedding day. With all of the planning it takes to put on a wedding, I never worried about anything with these two. To April and Joslin, THANK YOU so much for everything you did for Jake and I! We will always be recommending the Oaks!

Words cannot describe this beautiful venue and quality of service The Oaks at Salem provides. April Maness, the owner of The Oaks, was absolutely wonderful in accommodating our needs and wants and helping us throughout each and every step of our wedding plans. She always answered all of our questions and concerns in a very timely manner--we never had to wait for her response. Provided in our cost was 2 floors of the stunning home, 4000sqft white tent w/ lighting, vallet service, 200 white chairs, tables and linens for 13 tables, numerous vases and candle holders, and not to mention the most amazing staff that helped to make my wedding a dream come true. Not to mention the country barn for pictures, beautiful pond, and LARGE maple tree across the water which made for a picture perfect spot for the wedding party. If you are looking for an elegant venue (with a touch of southern country) in the Raleigh area that doesn't consist of hotels and street parking...The Oaks at Salem is the place for you! You will NOT be disappointed!! Thank you, The Oaks at Salem, for a fairytale day my husband and I will never forget!!

I got engaged in August and because my husband is a college football coach, we had two weekends we could get married; they just happen to be two of the busiest wedding weekends in June. April, the owner, responded to my initial email within about an hour. I think I can speak of behalf of other brides when I say responsiveness during the planning process is extremely important. April is the most responsive vendor I hired.\r\rThe Oaks at Salem is simply breathtaking. We had quite a few children at our reception, and they just loved the lake, all the grass to run around on, and the rope swing. My husband and I even got some cute pictures on the swing. The lake provided a bit of a breeze which was wonderful on a June evening.\r\rThe staff at the Oaks was great. At my brother's wedding, we had to do the clean-up ourselves, which took quite a long time. According to my mom, the staff at the Oaks had everything broken down and cleaned up shortly after my husband and I left. I know my family really appreciated that.\r\rIf you're looking for a beautiful outdoor/indoor venue, please check out the Oaks at Salem. You won't regret it.
