The Oasis is a wedding venue located in Austin, TX. This elegant property offers panoramic views of both Lake Travis and the nearby Hill Country. The dedicated team aims to provide you and your beloved with a milestone celebration you will treasure for years to come. The Oasis’ owner, Beau Theriot, has been the organizational force behind the property since its establishment almost 40 years ago. He and the staff at The Oasis can provide a variety of options for your milestone event, with both indoor and outdoor events spaces to choose from. For example, you and your partner can exchange vows in the venue’s outdoor Top of the Oasis deck area. This serene location with glistening lakeside views provides an idyllic backdrop as you say, “I do”. Post-ceremony, you can enjoy a lavish cocktail reception at the adjoined Palm Court, an outdoor space offering capacity for up to 200 guests. After some mingling and light refreshments, you and your loved ones can proceed to one of many reception rooms. The largest and most popular of the property’s offerings is The Starlight Terrace, which comfortably accommodates up to 400 people. This spacious room features a large dance floor, retractable roofing, and glass-paneled doors, allowing ample natural light to flow throughout the space. Alternatively, Sunset Villa, Lone Star, and Lakeside Terrace are ideal locations for more intimate celebrations and can facilitate from 25 to 100 guests. Each reception space features a private deck for guests to enjoy stunning lakeside views. For convenience, separate get-ready rooms, parking facilities, and wheelchair access are all available onsite. Wedding coordinator Beth and her team at The Oasis aim to provide you and your guests with exceptional service on your special day. A variety of wedding packages are available and can be personalized to suit your needs. The staff is also happy to manage the setup and teardown of event areas. Included are event rental items such as tables, chairs, and linens, along with lighting and audio equipment. The staff can also assist in the hiring of items such as photo booths, decor, and additional lighting. You and your guests can enjoy the creative culinary team’s talents for your event menu, and specific dietary requirements are also accommodated. Catering styles include buffet, family, and plated dining options, and delicious hors d’oeuvres can also be served during the cocktail reception. A selection of beverages is available at the bar, including champagne, signature cocktails, and premium liquors, in addition to house beer and wine.

The Oasis was the best decision we could have possibly made about our wedding. We booked the Starlight terrace and it really couldn't have gone any better. This is mostly due to Beth and her team coordinating the event. Everything was seamless and stress free, and we didn't have to worry about anything. We looked at a lot of venues, but none of them came close to the view/value/ease of The Oasis. We want to get married again here.

The Oasis was the best decision we could have possibly made about our wedding. We booked the Starlight terrace and it really couldn't have gone any better. This is mostly due to Beth and her team coordinating the event. Everything was seamless and stress free, and we didn't have to worry about anything. We looked at a lot of venues, but none of them came close to the view/value/ease of The Oasis. We want to get married again here.

I just had the most stress-free wedding planning experience thanks to The Oasis on Lake Travis. I can't say enough nice things about Beth, the coordinator. She made us feel special and secure with every decision made. Her confidence and easy-going attitude in conjunction with her vast knowledge and extreme organization skills made our wedding the stress-free experience it is supposed to be. The Oasis supplied a lovely ceremony space, a beautifully decorated huge reception space, an awesome dancefloor and stage, centerpieces, signs, easels, linens, tables, chairs, waitstaff, a bar, an AMAZING bridal suite, all day drink and food service to the bride and groom's parties while getting ready, delicious catering for our over 200 guests, a breathtaking sunset view and countless other things I'm sure I'm forgetting because I never had to worry about all those hidden tasks you may forget when planning a wedding. The day of my wedding I didn't have to do ANYTHING except get married. It is amazing to think about the value of this venue with the lack of headache we experienced. I told people in the months leading up to my wedding that everything was going perfectly, mostly thanks to Beth and the venue being so easy and basically all inclusive. Even the week of the wedding, people were amazed at how calm I was. All my Husband and I had to do was find a band and a photographer, and the rest was taken care of seamlessly by The Oasis. We even chose to skip flowers, beyond my bouquet, and you would have never realized that, due to the Oasis already being decorated beautifully.I really don't think another venue could offer the service we experienced. Believe me, this is the venue to choose if you want to be truly taken care of and not worry about a thing.

Oregon bride got married at The Oasis on Lake Travis! I couldn't recommend The Oasis enough! The coordinator, Beth, was seriously AMAZING!!!! With being an out of state bride, I was a bit nervous being so \"hands off\" for my wedding, but Beth was in constant communication with me and made everything run SO SMOOTH! I probably emailed her over 100 times and she always answered every question I had in a timely manner! She is very experienced so she was able to suggest things to us that just made sense for our wedding day! I was seriously not stressed the entire time leading up to the wedding because I felt so confident in The Oasis and Beth! And don't get me started about the actual day.. she went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel comfortable - asking us if we needed anything throughout the entire morning/afternoon leading up to the ceremony. She even put on my 5 year old sons boutonniere when I was on the struggle bus! We were in the Sunset Room and I LOVED it! The views were amazing and the reception space was the perfect amount of room for our wedding. If you're on the fence about venues, check out The Oasis on Lake Travis!!!

This was a wonderful place to have our wedding! We booked the sunset room and it was truly beautiful sunset wedding. All of our guests had a great time and so did we! What really set this apart for us was Beth Dale, the wedding coordinator at The Oasis. She was incredible from our first meeting! She made sure that we didn't forget to think of anything before hand and was also made sure we had everything that we needed and wanted the day of.

The Oasis on Lake Travis' Sunset Villa room was such a beautiful ceremony and reception venue! The view/backdrop for the ceremony is absolutely incredible and we got some amazing photos with the sunset over the lake. Coordinating with their wedding day coordinator, Beth, was so easy and straightforward, the food was amazing, and overall the event was perfect. The bridal suite is like an entire apartment, with kitchenette and bathroom included. The groom room was convenient but tiny. Beth and her staff were life-savers when it came to the day of. Make sure you have someone in the family/friends as back up who knows what's going on and to inform your family ahead of time if they're walking down the aisle ahead of the wedding party -- the only hiccup we had was getting the get-away vehicle to the front for our exit, and our grandparents and parents had already sat themselves before the ceremony began. Everything else was lovely and so relaxed and I would absolutely recommend their venue and services to those in the Austin, Texas area getting married!

My husband and I were married at The Oasis this summer, and it was beautiful! The event coordinator did an excellent job. Everything went according to schedule, and we didn't have to worry about one thing! We wanted to be married there since it's an Austin landmark, and we weren't disappointed. The cost is quite reasonable, and the food was great! They have a large range of food options to choose from. The bridal suite was wonderful! My bridesmaids and I had our hair and makeup done in the bridal suite which is like an apartment with plenty of room! The Sunset photos are gorgeous. I would highly suggest getting married at The Oasis!! It was great and everything we had hoped for and more!!

Our friends and family loved the convenience of the location, the beautiful sunset, the food, and of course the party. Choosing the Oasis was definitely the best decision we could have made for our reception.

Our wedding was in October and everything was beautiful! Kelsey was amazing and super helpful. I was one of those brides that wasn't too into planning a wedding but ended up doing most of it. Her being there took a lot off my shoulders. Of course, the views were to die for and the food (Italian menu) was lovely, despite this being a Mexican restaurant. I've gotten so many comments on how beautiful the wedding was.

I cannot speak highly enough of this venue! The food was incredible (we did the fajita buffet) and everything was absolutely perfect! Kelsey and her team created a dream worthy atmosphere for our wedding and took care of literally everything! The day of our wedding I was stressing about all the things I had to do, but Kelsey assured me that everything would be taken care of and that my only job was to relax and focus on me. She was not kidding. Everything was better than I could have ever expected and every time I asked Kelsey about anything her response was \"It's already taken care of\". Those words have never sounded better than on my wedding day. I would recommend this place to everyone, it is beautiful and they can accommodate just about anything from size to decor! I am gluten free along with several of my guests, we didn't have to worry about any of the food or cross contamination. I had a few special decorations that Kelsey put out in such a beautiful way. The view is spectacular, all of my guests said how incredible it was. Everyone was out on the deck taking pictures and just enjoying the view. The cost was more reasonable than any other venue we viewed and this venue was significantly more beautiful. Having our wedding at the Oasis was the best decision we made. Now we will go back on our anniversary every year an reminisce on the perfect day it turned out to be!

Guests still rave about how great our reception was at The Oasis. Kelsey was by far, one of the most professional, kind and prompt responding vendors. My husband and I were able to enjoy our first night together as a married couple because of the gorgeous venue, scenery, ease of flow of the evening events and our confidence in Kelsey. She managed all our vendors, and helped us with that long to-do list. She is a great wedding planner and The Oasis is the best place to celebrate your wedding reception!

We loved having our wedding at The Oasis on Lake Travis. The Sunset Villa room was the perfect backdrop to our special day. The evening was absolutely perfect despite the rainy weather during the ceremony. We were still blessed with spectacular views along with double rainbows over the lake once the rain stopped.Kelsey Shipman, our wedding coordinator and her assistant Bazae did an amazing job helping us create our perfect day. These ladies are a joy to work with and went above and beyond for us. They handled everything … from the special touches throughout the room to assisting our guests and vendors … all we had to do was show up and enjoy our day. The food was fantastic, the staff was professional and well-dressed, and the décor was beautiful … Our family and friends are still raving about it! It was truly our dream wedding and we wouldn’t change a thing … including the rain.

They were very flexible with us and worked hard to make our day special. The day of our wedding it was cold and rainy but everything turned out perfect. The space was perfect for us having close to 100 people. It was a beautiful wedding and I would highly recommend having your special day here. :)

My husband and I loved our wedding venue! Not only was it a beautiful area over Lake Travis, but our coordinator, Kelsey, was wonderful to work with during our wedding planning! She was very accommodating with our changes and made our day worry-free for me and my husband! We loved having our wedding at The Oasis and all of our guests thought it was beautiful! My husband and I loved our wedding venue! Not only was it a beautiful area over Lake Travis, but our coordinator, Kelsey, was wonderful to work with during our wedding planning! She was very accommodating with our changes and made our day worry-free for me and my husband! We loved having our wedding at The Oasis and all of our guests thought it was beautiful! I highly, highly, highly, recommend The Oasis as a wedding venue because of it's beautiful location and the wonderful people that will make anyone's day special!

We could not have asked for a better experience for our Rehearsal Dinner - The Oasis did a wonderful job! The Event Coordinator, Adam, made everything so easy throughout the planning process and he was quick to answer my emails and phone calls. We had our event in the Lakeside Terrace room which had gorgeous views of Lake Travis. On the night of, the entire room was set-up beautifully when we arrived and the staff was very attentive and professional. The dinner buffet was great and the food was even more delicious than I remember it being in the past! Overall, everything was wonderful and we are so glad we chose the Oasis to host this event for us!

The Oasis on Lake Travis was just perfect for our wedding. From the moment we with met our wedding coordinator Kelsey Shipman my mind was put at ease. She was amazing at guiding us through the maze of details for the wedding. From the bridal suite to the cutting of the cake the wedding staff was amazing and the entire wedding ran so smooth. The Oasis on Lake Travis is AWESOME! When we began our search for a vendor we were finding that most places had a very short window to reserve the venue, The Oasis allows you to rent the venue for the entire day. Kelsey is VERY helpful and open to answering questions. She and her assistant Samantha always replied to my emails within a few hours or by the next day. We were able to visit the grounds a few times before the wedding to help us get our game plan down. They offer day before drop off of any items we didn't want to bring the day of if the venue is not booked, we were lucky enough to get that time, it worked out perfect! Any request that we had they were on top of it right away. The day of the wedding we were able to just relax and enjoy the day since the work was already done. I cannot believe how CALM I was compared to how horrified and a wreck most of my bridezilla friends were. Kelsey made sure we covered all and any details so that the day of the wedding could be enjoyed and not stressed. I appreciated that about her. She is very caring and VERY personable. It is unbelievably affordable for a bride on a budget. The Oasis offered inside catering which went over amazingly well. We shopped around and there were a lot of bad reviews for other vendors or it wasn't cost efficient for what you wanted. My guests, my husband, and myself were very pleased with the menu. My wedding pictures turned out great even though it was raining all day and there wasn't a sunset. But the venue is breathtaking regardless of weather. I still had my wedding on the deck of the Oasis and it was absolutely beautiful. I will remember the day forever and would recommend The Oasis on Lake Travis and Kelsey Shipman to anyone planning a wedding or any other event.

Kelsey is the coordinator and Sam is her assistant. Both of these ladies were amazing from the day I emailed her about the venue until the wedding day! Words can't explain how great of a job they did. They set everything up beautifully and my day was perfect! I love them both so much! They are very kind and take care of their bride! She made sure I was okay 24/7. If I needed anything she took care of it and worked things out with me anytime. I had moments where my anxiety went through the roof and Kelsey made sure I had a drink and some snacks lol. I would defiantly recommend booking your wedding here if you were like me wanting a lake view. I had a list of 20 venues and chose the Oasis, because they were very friendly, they weren't pushy or short with me like others and fit my budget! I had a tight budget of 10k which includes Alllll of my venders so the oasis can work with whatever you need, big or small. Every room is beautiful, all of our guest are still talking about how good the food was and the view! NO REGRETS! I would do it all again!\r\rThank you Kelsey and Sam for taking care of us! :)

My husband and I loved having our wedding at The Oasis. The venue was right for our budget and it offered beautiful back drops for our photographs. They worked with us on every aspect and the wedding coordinators Kelsey and Sam were amazing! I wish I had a Kelsey or Sam in my everyday life! Due to the bridal suite being booked for the day of I had issues finding a close place for me and my girls to get ready. Also, we wanted somewhere close on the lake to spend our first night together and the place I was working with was too flighty to be reliable. Kelsey was there yet again to save the day. She spoke with the owner and they allowed us to rent his one bedroom apartment next to The Oasis...the place was amazing and made the day just that much more memorable. Kelsey and Sam made the day easy and relieved any stress I could have experienced with forgetting numerous things in the apartment but they retrieved everything without hesitation. They also were my brain during the entire night and I never had to ask for anything since it seemed we were one brain sharing our thoughts. The venue and the staff were amazing is all I can say for The Oasis and we wouldn't change a thing about our day.

Our wedding on November 9, 2013 was made perfect by the hard-working staff at The Oasis. Kelsey and I emailed for months as an out of town bride and she was very responsive to my ideas and ever changing (increasing!) guest count. The vendors she recommended all turned out to be great as well. The bridal suite was definitely worth it, to have a place to get ready and the Top of the Oasis was picture perfect for our reception and ceremony. There was only one hiccup in my mind for the night. There was a wedding going on in a room next door at the same time as ours, which is no big deal. The DJ next door and our DJ agreed they would begin reception music at the same time so as not to interfere with each other's ceremonies. The DJ next door did begin music during our ceremony and it was distracting to me as the bride. My husband, bridesmaids and very few guests noticed it, but the detail-oriented bride did. It was no fault of The Oasis and just a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of the night. The staff during our event was top notch and all of our guests commented on how delicious the food was! Highly recommend the Top of the Oasis room for an elegant and fun wedding location as well as the staff at The Oasis. My only advice for future brides is to discuss the timing of events going on around you in advance, but you'll be in good hands with The Oasis!

Our dream wedding turned into a reality at The Oasis! I can honestly say that it was beyond what I would have ever hoped for or imagined. The setting was absolutely beautiful and so unique. All of our guests loved the venue and had just as much fun as we did. Kelsey Shipman, Wedding Coordinator for The Oasis, is AWESOME! She is so sweet, easy to work with, and made everything stress-free. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely go back to the Oasis and would make sure that Kelsey was running the show. Kelsey Shipman (the Wedding Coordinator), her assistant Samantha, and our caterer Adam did an amazing job of making our day special and flawless. Kelsey worked with us from the day we booked it until the moment we were getting in our get away car to ensure that our day was exactly how we wanted it to be. If you haven't been to The Oasis, it is the most beautiful place in Austin for a wedding. Our ballroom faced sunset and it was gorgeous. The interior is equally beautiful and required very little decorations to be bought, but those that I did buy, Kelsey and her team set up for us! Not having to set up or clean up is a wonderful service the Oasis provides. The room was laid out exactly the way I envisioned, the food was delicious, and they made sure to remind us about our schedule, but were flexible when photos took longer than expected. Really I cannot convey in words how great the Oasis Weddings Team is and how wonderful our wedding was! Look into booking this venue. You will not regret it!

More so, we definitely don't regret spending a a little extra to have Kelsey, the wedding coordinator at The Oasis, see to all of our needs. She was patient with us (even though we had no idea how to plan our wedding), and she seemed prepared for every meeting. The venue itself was very accommodating - the food was perfectly prepared (we had a Cajun-style buffet), the ceremony and reception were perfectly secluded from the rest of the restaurant, and no one seemed to mind that my husband and I wandered around with the photographer, entering rooms as we pleased, to find great locations for portraits. Weeks later, our guests are still raving about how beautiful the wedding was.

I want to first start out by saying pictures do not do this place justice. I was married at The Oasis last weekend and the photos I do have are from my guests iphone's and they are spectacular. From start to finish Kelsey was by my side walking me through every step of the way. She is very prompt and professional when returning emails and made me feel totally at ease on my big day. She reached out to my other vendors and helped everyone stay on the same page so I could focus on the many other things going on that day. \r\rThe bridal suite alone is worth renting this place. We were able to fit 8 people in our room and still have enough space to dance and \"wobble\" lol\r\rDon't even get me started about the sunset... it is the most breathtaking view I have ever seen. It doesn't even feel like you are in Austin. All my guests could not believe a place like this existed at the Oasis and it can only been truly appreciated in person.\r\rThe food and drinks were delicious and all very reasonably priced. You really do get your bang for the buck with this place. \r\rIf you are getting married in Austin you MUST check this place out!! \r

All my guests could not believe a place like this existed at the Oasis and it can only been truly appreciated in person.\r\rThe food and drinks were delicious and all very reasonably priced. You really do get your bang for the buck with this place. \r\rIf you are getting married in Austin you MUST check this place out!! \r

Since the majority of our wedding party were from out of the area, my fiance and I wanted to find a place that would showcase Austin. As former guests of The Oasis, we were happy to find out they were willing and able to accommodate us for our rehearsal dinner. The sunset was magical, the drinks were plentiful, and the menu provided something to everyone's liking. We were able to capture some beautiful pictures on the patio, and we are looking forward to our next visit!

The food and service was amazing. Everyone loved it and the sunset was gorgeous for the occasion. We had plenty to chose from for the catering menu and they worked with us. The centerpieces looked exactly what i talked about with Adam. He did everything beautifully. Very well done.

I had my wedding reception in the Lakeside Terrace event room. Kelsey was very accommodating with our often changing details, even though it was a small event, and was extremely impressive and professional the day of the event. I did not have to worry about a thing. I was a little hesitant about the decor already in the room but it ended up being lovely and just the right balance of fun and wedding. Also, you cannot beat the view and hanging out on the deck overlooking the water! Overall I was very pleased! And the food was awesome, in my opinion much better than the restaurant tex-mex, which I also enjoy.

Wow, what an experience! We got married at the Oasis in the Starlight Ball Room and it was absolutely the most perfect night, all thanks to our coordinator Kelsey Shipman and her staff! From day 1 Kelsey was the most helpful and kind person! She went out of her way every chance she got! We had a wedding of 215 and used both the bars in the Starlight room. The Oasis staff was on top of their game and really did a great job. They set up the tables in the Starlight room and set up all the decorations I brought for them. I even brought lights to decorate the pillars in the room and the manager Adam volunteered to put them up! The food was out of this world good! We had a plated meal of 3 different choices and I highly recommend the plated meals at the Oasis. Kelsey and her team just went above and beyond, from helping to call all my vendors to being so accommodating with all my questions. I would text Kelsey and she would answer within a few minutes and always had the best attitude no matter what my concern was. Kelsey made sure I was taken care of in the bridal suite on the day of, and made sure my husband and his groomsmen were taken care of. Kelsey was just there for everything! I'm just so impressed! The Oasis was the perfect venue for my rustic texas style wedding, and was the perfect spot for beautiful pictures! From the first day I met Kelsey to every meeting with her, every call, the decorations, the food, the bar, her staff, the wind, the chairs, a vendor of mine showing late and with the wrong person, to my groomsmen running around at the last minute trying to find the rings...Kelsey took care of everything. She even packed some cake and water to go in the car waiting for us when we left! Her staff was perfect and so was Kelsey...she really made my day THE PERFECT wedding day! This is really the best wedding venue in Ausitn. The view is amazing. Eveeryone at the wedding reception raved on how perfect the wedding venue was and I agree. Kelsey was very helpful and fun to work with. She helped me make some decisions when I could not make them...can be overwhelming. We had the Lakeside Terrace room..it has a fireplace, a bar, and red carpeting with the beautiful Lake Travis view....and the perfect sunset made for great pictures. The venue was warm and inviting. The Oasis is teh perfect wedding venue!

We loved having our wedding reception at The Oasis! Our coordinator, Kelsey, went above and beyond helping us plan for our special event - and we planned it in just a few short months! The Bridal Room was VERY spacious, like a little apartment with a mini living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with several mirrors and plenty of closet space and of course, an iron and steamer (upon request)! We had the Lakeside Terrace for our reception and they helped us fit ~65 people! The Lakeside Terrace included an indoor area seating 60+ people, plus our own private deck with gorgeous views of the lake and sunset! We brought in our own decorations for all the table center pieces the night before and Kelsey and her team added their own special touches by adding some extra mirrors and marbles to make the tables look *that* much prettier! Kelsey kept us on track the entire evening and was VERY hands-on making sure everyone was having a good time and making sure my grandmother and all the kids were comfortable and happy. The food and drinks were great, we even had a few vegetarians in which The Oasis accomodated for - and my family RAVED about how delicious it was! Kesley even made sure that our two children were able to go downstairs outside on the deck to ring the \"sunset bell!\" They loved it and Kesley made them feel very special! At the end of the evening, Kesley and her team packed up all our things and had our car packed and waiting for us when it was time to go. If I ever need to throw another big party, I would not hesitate to book with The Oasis again! Like all weddings, the evening went by so fast - but The Oasis made sure to make it one of the most memorable nights of our life! :)

During our wedding planning, the coordinator at The Oasis quit and no one warned us or told us until the new coordinator emailed us, a month before our wedding. This made me very nervous and I felt it was extremely rude and unprofessional of The Oasis staff. We met with the new coordinator and finalized all the details and she assured us everything would run smoothly. Her assistant who had been doing our planning with the old coordinator seemed to be very on top of things and knew what was going on, even though the new coordinator seemed less knowledgable. I thought we were very clear with all our requests and that everyone was on the same page with the details of the wedding. \r\rWe were married in the Starlight room and the venue and view itself are beautiful and hardly need any decorating at all. We picked The Oasis for these reasons and also for the fact that it was very reasonably priced and had such great reviews. We were also able to choose our menu and what type of alcohol we wanted served. We also thought it was very nice that they allow you to choose the colors of your linens and offer other decorations at no charge. All of these are good things about The Oasis, but unfortunately, I experienced a couple important bad things, as well. \r\rThe linens and napkins that were put on our tables for the wedding we not the correct color that we chose from the swatch book. They still looked okay, but it was disappointing that it was not the color I chose.\rWe also chose to ONLY have beer and wine served, but the bartenders still served liqour. When we told the new coordinator and bartenders to stop serving liquor, they continued to serve it but then charge people for some of the drinks (we also did not want this). This was very upsetting to me because many people got extremely drunk and my parents were also stuck with a very large bar tab. When I emailed the new coordinator, after the wedding, expressing my disappointment, I felt she was very ingenuine with her apologies and did not take much responsibility for the mistakes made. Instead, she acted as if we were the ones responsible for those mistakes. As a coordinator, I felt it should have been her job to know every detail of the wedding, and she clearly did not. Upon writing several emails back and forth, I was told that she was not the one responsible for the mistakes made, but I am still not sure WHO exactly was. \r\rI would advise future brides to be VERY careful in going over final contracts and to have an absolutely certain clarity for all the words used on the contract.

We have received countless compliments on the venue, the centerpieces, the service, and especially the food. The price was one of the most reasonable we found, and we looked all over the Austin area.

The Oasis was the perfect place for our rehearsal dinner! The food was great and the room was beautiful. The service we got made us feel like #1 that night. All of the wait staff was so friendly, too!

As soon as my husband and I saw the amazing view of the lake, we knew the Oasis was the place for us to tie the knot. What we didn't know was how fantastic Beth and her staff were going to be. Beth handled everything so I was stress free. The food was great, the service was perfect and our wedding turned out just as we pictured.\rI highly recommend the Oasis!
