When I first started looking at wedding venues, I knew I wanted an ocean vibe. As I was scrolling through The Knot website, I came across the venue as it was listed as in my price range. When I finally went on the website, I was floored. I knew immediately this was where I wanted to get married. The wooden doors, the beach stone terrace, and ocean...it was gorgeous. Seeing it in person sealed the deal. Because of COVID, our wedding date was delayed by 2 years; however, Oceanview's staff was very responsive and easily reachable throughout which was helpful in the planning process. During our two year wait, the cocktail hour room had been refurbished. It is a beautiful room with gorgeous details on the ceiling. I liked the fact that the cocktail room was separate from the dance floor for my guests if they wanted to get away from the music. There are also many places outside for guests to escape which I also appreciated.In terms of the food, it was excellent! I had so many guests raving about the food! Prior to the wedding date, I was worried because more than 3/4 of our guest count opted for the beef. I had been to other weddings where meat had been cooked inconsistently or was served cold. Not here! Everyone said their meat was cooked perfectly and was so tender! In addition to the main courses, they have a variety of yummy appetizers and desserts. We opted for smores at the end of the night on the beach which is a fun way to end the day.When I first looked at the venue, I thought it was too good to be true that I could afford such a wonderful place. I had guests approaching me thinking the venue was way more expensive than what I actually paid for it. For the view, the food, and the staff, it is truly a bargain! The staff is extremely attentive and it is nice that there is only 1 wedding at a time which I had seen other venues not offer. We opted for the all inclusive package which includes cocktail appetizers, beer and wine for cocktail hour and for 1 hour at end of the night during the firepit finale with smores, the 3 course meal, the DJ, a photo booth, and favors at the end of the night. It was a great deal and helped us from having to find a DJ. If you are looking to save some money like we were, this would be a great option!Clearly, I can't stop gushing about this venue. As cliche as it sounds, it was a perfect day and Oceanview's staff and ambiance helped make it come to life. Highly recommend!

From our initial meetings to our wedding day, the staff at Oceanview of Nahant did an incredible job at helping us with our every need. They were more an accommodating when it came to all of the things we wanted to make sure were present. We loved how detail oriented the entire staff was throughout the whole process. The space itself is just amazing, but it’s really the people that make it that much better. When some unfortunate events transpired, the team worked swiftly to help solve them and we couldn’t be more appreciative of that.

Oceanview was the exact venue I was looking for - it was my whole vision: on the beach, but don't get sandy or wet. The facilities are gorgeous, newly renovated, and tastefully decorated to where you don't need to do a ton of your own decor. The consultants are outstanding! Sammi was very quick to answer emails about whatever I was stressing about on any given day. And the day of my wedding went so smoothly - a hiccup here or there due to weather and timing but we never even knew until after the fact, and our guests had no idea. They are organized and detail oriented. There are so many different options to choose as upgrades to really make your day/night custom to you and your partner, although they do charge extra for most of these. They were very accommodating to us with our signature cocktails as we wanted to use our own recipes instead of options from their suggested list. We brought some of our own ingredients and the bartender made our drinks come to life! The planning portal was a life saver especially when it came to the seating chart but also just to make sure we were hitting all the right spots with our planning. After hosting our wedding and making our dreams come true, Oceanview will forever have a place in our hearts!

It was just when we had given up our hopes of finding a venue with an ocean view that The Knot recommended Oceanview of Nahant. We thought there was no way this venue would fit in our budget--The Knot had to have it wrong---but never assume! Not only was Oceanview budget-friendlier than all of the other venues we considered, they treated us like family from start to finish. Two weeks after our wedding, our guests continue to rave about the food, view, and the all-around gorgeous venue. We cannot thank the staff enough for their hard work, kindness, and attention to detail. They made our wedding so memorable. If you want an event executed with attentiveness and care, this is the venue for you!

Oceanview was the only venue that we looked at for our wedding! We knew we wanted to be oceanside, but all of the other venues (while just as beautiful) were not right on the water or didn't fall into our price point. From our first meeting at OV to our wedding day, the staff here made everything we could have possibly dreamed of come true! Every question that we had was answered or problems solved and we couldn't have asked for better partners in planning our big day! The venue is stunning and perfect for seaside photos. Our wedding was outdoors and we had the bubbly welcome package with bubbles released once we were married. Everyone raved about how gorgeous the ceremony was, how friendly the staff were, and how beautiful the space was overall. The natural lighting from the floor to ceiling windows in the ballroom is unmatched... it truly creates a dream space! We went very minimal on decor and flowers because of how naturally beautiful the venue is on its own.We had so many of our guests talk about how it was some of the best food they've had at a wedding. We did the chicken piccata, baked haddock, and mushroom ravioli. For appetizers, we had the short rib quesadilla, arancini, and bacon wrapped scallops. Everything was perfect! Our drinks were never empty and the timeline of our day was seamless because of their exceptional attention to detail. I would 10000% recommend this venue to anyone who asks! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much to everyone at Oceanview for making sure our September wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more.

Our first date we went out for lobster (twice), so we felt it was ideal to have a Clam Bake/Lobster wedding. We got engaged on April Fools Day and the wedding was Memorial Day Weekend, the staff was crucial in helping us plan this special day on short notice. And May 28, 2023 was a day we'll never forget thanks to the Ocean View Nahant

The Oceanview of nahant was such an amazing venue. From the whole wedding process and planning all the way to the ceremony. They were always so easy to communicate with, so accommodating, and always there to answer all my questions. They made the whole process of planning a wedding so easy and straightforward. The wedding day itself went by so smoothly with the help of the coordinators. I can’t recommend this venue enough, not to mention the beautiful view during ceremony and the gorgeous reception area. It truly was our dream wedding and venue.

The Oceanview of nahant was such an amazing venue. From the whole wedding process and planning all the way to the ceremony. They were always so easy to communicate with, so accommodating, and always there to answer all my questions. They made the whole process of planning a wedding so easy and straightforward. The wedding day itself went by so smoothly with the help of the coordinators. I can’t recommend this venue enough, not to mention the beautiful view during ceremony and the gorgeous reception area. It truly was our dream wedding and venue.

Although we didn’t get the perfect summer day the venue was still great. The planners from the moment we booked were easy to work with and accommodating to our needs. Our guests couldn’t believe how big the meal portions were and said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. My only complaint/recommendation is to not book the Saturday after 4th of July. We were notified 3 weeks before our wedding that the town of Nahant’s holiday fireworks would be that night and the one road leading up to our venue would be closed from 6-10pm with no guests allowed in or out during that time. This caused a lot of stress just a few weeks prior to our wedding. Although this was not the venues fault, and was coming from the town, I feel like everyone should be aware this could happen to them

The day of they ran through everything that was going to happen step by step. They checked in with us constantly to make sure we were doing okay and if we ever needed anything. The food was delicious and the portions were bigger then needed. They set up our decorations beautifully and arranaged everything to our exact specifications. To top it all off the location is gorgeous and every tiny detail is clearly catered to weddings and love. We had the all inclusive package and it had everything we ever wanted including our DJ. They also had great reccomendations for other vendors such as our photographer.If you are looking for a beach or ocean front wedding this is the place to go. We came from Canada just for this location and it was worth the drive!

My (now) husband and I got married here on 09/17/23. We knew IMMEDIATELY this was the venue of our dreams the moment we arrived for a tour. The venue from the inside out was absolutely gorgeous. If you like/want a nautical/ocean themed wedding, then this is the place for you for a wedding or any function! There was a spectacular view of the ocean for us and our guests during the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was held outside with the breath-taking views and the reception and cocktail hour was held inside their stunning ballroom. The owners and ALL of the wedding coordinators customer service was beyond exceptional. The appetizers and dinner were absolutely delicious, not to mention we had a signature drink called the “shark bite” that had a yummy gummy shark in it. The cocktail lounge area is modern but beautifully renovated to still keep with the nautical theme. The space has a built-in arcade and numerous photo-worthy neon signs and picturesque spots on the balcony and by the beach. Later in the evening there were fire-pits set up on the beach for s’mores, complimentary flip flops provided, and four available games of cornhole set-up for everyone. We were able to have a BEAUTIFUL last dance on a small platform that has a nautical themed anchor in the middle. It has a fog effect that makes for the most picturesque magical photos. I would undoubtedly recommend this venue to ANYONE for any function who loves the beach and or nautical vibe.

The appetizers and dinner were absolutely delicious, not to mention we had a signature drink called the “shark bite” that had a yummy gummy shark in it. The cocktail lounge area is modern but beautifully renovated to still keep with the nautical theme. The space has a built-in arcade and numerous photo-worthy neon signs and picturesque spots on the balcony and by the beach. Later in the evening there were fire-pits set up on the beach for s’mores, complimentary flip flops provided, and four available games of cornhole set-up for everyone. We were able to have a BEAUTIFUL last dance on a small platform that has a nautical themed anchor in the middle. It has a fog effect that makes for the most picturesque magical photos. I would undoubtedly recommend this venue to ANYONE for any function who loves the beach and or nautical vibe.

Our wedding day at the Oceanview was nothing short of perfect! Everything about the venue is clean, up to date, and gorgeous. The new lounge gives it a more modern and chic vibe, but still ties in perfectly with the ocean-view theme. Allison and the rest of the staff are so easy to talk to and quickly responded to any and all questions that I had. They also recommended our photographer- Chris Connor from 26 North Studios- who is simply amazing. Allison got on the phone with me when needed and the online portal is very easy to use. In the final weeks prior to my wedding, Allison and Sammi were so helpful and made sure that they understood how I wanted all of my decor set up and helped us make final selections for our meals, etc. The day-of, not one person bothered me with any questions and everything ran smoothly. Ralph was our day-of concierge and we probably would have been lost without him! He looked out for us, made sure we had food and drinks, took care of my bouquet, and guided us throughout the night. From when we should say hi to our guests, to the dances with our parents, Ralph was on-top of everything and made sure we were where we needed to be. He even had the staff wrap up my food for me when I wasn’t able to finish it. On your wedding day it is SO important to have nice, personable people looking out for you and that is exactly what the Oceanview does for you. I highly recommend ending the night with a last dance on the beach and their Fire Pit Finale. It is something totally different that your guests will remember and gives you more time to be able to relax and hang out with your guests. On top of all that, the food was AMAZING and our friends and family are still raving about how delicious everything was. Thank you to the Oceanview to hands-down the most perfect day.

We can not say enough about the Oceanview. We walked in and instantly knew it was the perfect venue. Everything is beautiful, The ballroom, newly renovated cocktail room, the outside is breathtaking even the bridal suite is huge and stunning. Allison, Sami, Ralph and all the staff were absolutely phenomenal . They made our wedding day stress free and everything was exactly how we envisioned it. We have got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing the food, bar, and service was!! They also recommended our photographer Christopher Connor, at 26 North Studios and he was unbelievable. So talented, our photos are beautiful throughout the venue and even outside in the rain! We would highly recommend Oceanview 10/10. Working with the Oceanview was a breeze. Very responsive and organized. The food was ON POINT. The braised short rib was raved about, especially its portion size and tenderness. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious, especially the arancinis and coconut chicken bites. For the most part, everything was a dream. If I had to give one critique, I heard from multiple of my bridal party, family and friends that they rushed us out very aggressively. They started taking our stuff saying “you need to get it out NOW” “we have a wedding in the morning” (it was around 11-11:30 at night, and it’s not like I would leave everything that I paid a lot of money for behind intentionally.) I had guests running around helping to put our stuff in whatever cars they could find. At the end of the night, it was very “get out, get out!” Which quickly set a new tone to my almost flawless day. My guests and party were unsettled when getting back to the hotel because I guess, it was just that hectic and stressful dealing with that rushing around. Never the less, my team made it work and got it all out and settled under that pressure. I understand a time line (which we were on) however, for the amount of money a couple spends on a few hours giving such a beautiful venue business and exposure, at least have a little bit of consideration. Other than that, I’ll still give 5 starts because our wedding was amazing and the best day of my life regardless!

It has taken me a couple weeks to put into words how amazing and perfect our wedding day was. We booked the venue off of pictures alone since we currently live out of state and it's even more breathtaking in person. From the very minute we booked with the Oceanview team we knew we were in good hands. They are kind, attentive, and overall super fun people to work with. They truly just want to make your dreams come true and have your vision come to life. Every single person we worked with was the most friendly, helpful and caring individual. From the amazing tasting that they have for all of their couples, to their ability to accommodate us on zoom for tours and meetings they are absolute professionals. You never ever feel like a number or just another couple, they are truly invested in getting to know you and helping in any way possible. Ally was amazing to work with and so incredibly responsive to all of my questions big and small. Lish was the sweetest person to be around on our wedding day and just went above and beyond to help in any capacity. Ralph was the most amazing bridal concierge and was there to help with everything from my bustle, (seriously very impressive) to keeping us all laughing and having fun. Our guests are raving about the views, how amazing the food was (HUGE portions), and all of the fun add ons like late night Chinese food, s'mores and firepits on the beach and whiskey and cigars. The bridal suite is huge and it was such a big help to have a private area to refresh and regroup in throughout the night. The views are stunning and the Oceanview just has it figured out down to every single detail. They keep the day so stress free because you don't have to worry about a single thing, they have it all taken care of. It has taken me a couple weeks to put into words how amazing and perfect our wedding day was. We booked the venue off of pictures alone since we currently live out of state and it's even more breathtaking in person. From the very minute we booked with the Oceanview team we knew we were in good hands. They are kind, attentive, and overall super fun people to work with. They truly just want to make your dreams come true and have your vision come to life. Every single person we worked with was the most friendly, helpful and caring individual. From the amazing tasting that they have for all of their couples, to their ability to accommodate us on zoom for tours and meetings they are absolute professionals. You never ever feel like a number or just another couple, they are truly invested in getting to know you and helping in any way possible. Ally was amazing to work with and so incredibly responsive to all of my questions big and small. Lish was the sweetest person to be around on our wedding day and just went above and beyond to help in any capacity. Ralph was the most amazing bridal concierge and was there to help with everything from my bustle, (seriously very impressive) to keeping us all laughing and having fun. Our guests are raving about the views, how amazing the food was (HUGE portions), and all of the fun add ons like late night Chinese food, s'mores and firepits on the beach and whiskey and cigars. The bridal suite is huge and it was such a big help to have a private area to refresh and regroup in throughout the night. The views are stunning and the Oceanview just has it figured out down to every single detail. They keep the day so stress free because you don't have to worry about a single thing, they have it all taken care of. The staff was amazing and Lish took care of us the entire process. They made us feel like king and queen on our wedding day, and made sure every detail was taken care of. Everyone we met from that first day to our wedding day were so caring, so friendly, and so helpful throughout the entire process. The entire venue from the ceremony space, the cocktail room and the reception room are absolutely perfect and gorgeous. It also sits right on the water, offering gorgeous beach views. Even with a November wedding, it was absolutely dreamy in their tent right on the beach. We also did the all inclusive-package they offer and it truly made the planning process easier from the centerpieces, to the lighting, to the DJ. Food and drink offerings were also delicious as most weddings we have been to are the normal, bland wedding food. I really cannot say enough good things about Oceanview and their employees.

The most beautiful wedding venue! Right on the edge of the island of Nahant, on the rocks and beach. Staff was amazing and so helpful; our coordinator was Allison! Venue is all-inclusive including decor choices, add-ons, and color schemes. Our photographer was blown away by the venue, stating it had one of the best bridal suites she had ever seen.All our guests said it was stunning and such a fun, beautiful venue. Food was delicious! We had never tried the food before our wedding day and it was AMAZING. The forecasted rain magically did not appear, but the coordinators and staff handled potential rain and COVID-19 stress perfectly. We had a weekday wedding and it allowed us to afford such an amazing venue. This is the place for you if you want a dreamy seaside wedding but don't have a DIY bone in your body, because it is already beautifully decorated and everything you need (chairs, linens, table numbers, etc) is already THERE. They are also very LGBTQ+ friendly and made us feel at home. All of our guests had an amazing time, but most importantly, we had a blast at our own wedding!

The view and beautiful property at the Oceanview speak for themselves, but what you should know is that you will work with an amazing TEAM of people who really do work so hard to make sure that your day is perfect. Ours was just that. My husband and I were engaged for almost three years due to the pandemic and everyone at The Oceanview was there every step of the way to answer all of our questions and make the planning process as stress free as possible. The day of our wedding, we simply just had to show up and every detail was perfect. Our signs and decor were placed how and where we wanted them, we didn’t have to have family racing around and worrying about small details, they were able to just enjoy themselves! Our guests haven’t stopped telling us how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed the food! Everything was delicious, and there is truthfully so many options to choose from. The view and beautiful property at the Oceanview speak for themselves, but what you should know is that you will work with an amazing TEAM of people who really do work so hard to make sure that your day is perfect. Ours was just that. My husband and I were engaged for almost three years due to the pandemic and everyone at The Oceanview was there every step of the way to answer all of our questions and make the planning process as stress free as possible. The day of our wedding, we simply just had to show up and every detail was perfect. Our signs and decor were placed how and where we wanted them, we didn’t have to have family racing around and worrying about small details, they were able to just enjoy themselves! Our guests haven’t stopped telling us how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed the food! Everything was delicious, and there is truthfully so many options to choose from. Where do we even begin?! My fiancé, Greg, and I had our reception here on Saturday, 11/6/2021 - a year and half after getting engaged at the start of the pandemic (!). I'm from the North Shore, and we got married in my childhood church, then partied it up at the Oceanview! The Oceanview was the first and only venue we seriously considered because we were SO blown away after our tour. Right away, we fell in love with the gorgeous oceanside location, the intimacy of the setting (one wedding at a time), and the incredible attention to the not-so-small details. From the beautiful soft blue leather ballroom chairs, to the illuminated LOVE sign in the bar room, to the \"two less fish in the sea\" sign that literally brought tears to my eyes, to the dancefloor on the beach - we seriously could not believe how beautiful the Oceanview truly is. We got a TON of compliments from our friends on family on the quality of the food, the dancing, the atmosphere, and the beauty of the venue itself. For all it offers, we definitely found the Oceanview to be fairly and transparently priced. We saved money by having the wedding just outside of peak season for a smaller rental fee - and we still got to do our last dance on the beach with a fog machine, in the beautiful November night air! (Side note - don't overlook November as a potential wedding date! We still had foliage on the trees and BEAUTIFUL weather!) We would definitely recommend the all-inclusive package that comes with SO much - appetizers, 3 meal choices, table wine and beer, champagne toast, DJ, photo booth, up-lighting, centerpieces and table numbers, whoopie pie favors, and the firepit finale (s'mores making)! Allison was an incredible help in planning the event, and Ralph was an AMAZING wedding day coordinator. From our first tour of the venue, to a personalized taste-testing night, their customer service was top notch! We'd give the Oceanview more than 5 stars if we could!

They truly made it the best night of our lives.My only recommendation was that the vegetarian risotto cakes include a larger side, as I was told they were a large portion and my vegetarian guests were left a bit hungry. They were absolutely amazing though.I am very particular, like to be in control and have a hard time relaxing if we aren't on schedule - ocean view took all that stress away from me and we couldn't be more thankful

This place is absolutely gorgeous, it completely deserves 5 stars, I’m just ranking it lower so it is an outlier that either people will see and read before touring or the Knot will take note and edit it’s page. It does not belong in the “affordable” category on this site. My fiancé and I absolutely loved it but throughout the tour we knew it was too good to be true. Sure enough, when we sat down with our tour guide for our very professional and upfront price proposal, our hearts sank. Even a bare bones package on a Thursday was well out of our price range. We felt so supported and helped by the entire staff at the Oceanview that I just want to shout out to every one of them. Whenever we had a question or concern, they emailed us back immediately. On the day of our wedding, they took care of EVERYTHING. Ralph, our wedding day concierge, and Allison worked together flawlessly with our photographer and DJ to make sure everything flowed well. The food was fantastic--our guests are still telling us how good the food was. It was just such a fun day, and it wouldn't have been that special and relaxing for my husband and I if The Oceanview wasn't as amazing as they are.

The outdoor ceremony was amazing, and the reception inside was incredible as well. The staff was helpful and courteous, and they have handled so many weddings that absolutely nothing will phase them. We loved the Oceanview and cannot recommend it highly enough to other couples looking for a lovely venue in the Boston area.

My husband and I got married at the Oceanview July 16, 2021. Planning a wedding during COVID was so challenging, but the staff at Oceanview made it as easy as possible. Specifically, we worked closely with Allison - she was absolutely wonderful. Allison was extremely communicative, sending us updates on what our wedding and guest count would look like as CDC guidelines were announced. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We had our ceremony out on the ocean view terrance, will beautiful views of the ocean. The cocktail hour and reception went so smoothly thanks to Allison and our personally appointed day of coordinator, Ralph. Our guests are still telling us how our wedding was at one of the most beautiful and dynamic venues they have ever been too. My only reason for not giving 5 stars to the Oceanview is the food. While the cocktail hour food and grande finale dessert was amazing, the entrees were just okay. Other than the beef short rib (which was SO DELICIOUS) we had a tough time selecting our other entree options. The flavors and choices of the sauces for the wild mushroom ravioli and chicken piccatta just missed the mark unfortunately. None the less, we are still 100% happy with our choice to have our wedding at the Oceanview of Nahant. Truly a stunning venue with an incredible staff.

There is a reason why the Oceanview of Nahant has an amazing reputation. The atmosphere is incredible, food delicious, and views are stellar. When I first began talking to OV, they were helpful and friendly. Over time during covid changes, they were always keeping us up to date. When it came time for our tasting, we were more than impressed, though we really wished they had brunch food which was the menu we wanted. At the final meeting, we were made aware we could add an additional hour to our wedding which was already a tight timeline (The sat morning wedding). We decided to add that on, and while we were glad we did, there was even more pressure to get out of there before the next wedding at 530. Some constructive criticism, I did not feel supported by my day of coordinator, and bridal party members and guests had mentioned she was short and rude with them. It started when I had tried calling when I was on my way, and got no answer. I asked my husband to get someone to call me so that I could be assured he wouldn't see me. It took a good 20 minutes to get a call back, and by then I was essentially there. I kept having to ask where certain people were, and what was going on. The Oceanview of Nahant is a hidden paradise in Nahant, MA that is completely private on a beautiful rocky beach. The staff at the venue goes above and beyond from that very first time you tour to the final goodbye at the end of your wedding day. Our coordinator throughout the entire planning process was the lovely Allison and she was incredible. We are a covid couple, our original wedding date was 8.8.20 and in July of 2020, we made the difficult decision to postpone due to the pandemic. Allison was there to help with anything we needed and she made the postponement process as seamless as possible. She spent many hours with me on the phone and sent countless emails to answer all the questions and concerns I had. Yesterday (8.8.21) we finally had our wedding celebration and wow, the team at the Oceanview did an absolutely incredible job. From the moment of arrival, Erica, Lish, Mike, the bartenders, all the staff on site that day made sure we were happy and ready for the big day. They kept the drinks flowing, the food hot, the dance floor clean. We were asked consistently if we needed anything and we just couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. Our guests raved about the raw bar, the signature drinks, the clambake menu, the photo booth and everyone was shocked and excited about the ice cream truck being on site at the end of the reception! We couldn't be happier with how the day turned out. I would HIGHLY recommend the Oceanview to anyone looking for a beautiful seaside New England wedding venue.

My husband and I got married at Oceanview of Nahant on June 5, 2021. It was the best day of our lives, but leading up to this wedding was a little crazy because of COVID. My husband and I struggled with the decision of moving our wedding and losing our date. Our wedding coordinator, Allison, worked with us to keep our date in addition to saving a winter date in 2022 at no additional cost, which was so beyond generous of her. However, we got extremely lucky with the guidelines lifting the week before our wedding and being able to have our full wedding on June 5th. Allison worked with us throughout all the decisions and guideline changes to make us feel fully informed and prepared for what our June 5th wedding would look like. We worked with many coordinators during the rehearsal and the day of, and they were all incredible. They made our day easy and fun, and they always had the biggest smiles on their faces! Other things I think are worth mentioning include the complimentary tasting you get to help decide on food choices for the wedding (it's really fun, you get open bar and food and get to see a bunch of the couples that will be getting married that year). BTW, the food was INCREDIBLE. We highly recommend doing their grilled cheese station during cocktail hour - everyone at our wedding was raving about it. Also, the surf and turf options were a huge hit and not significantly higher prices than the other meal options. We did the lobster and filet - the lobster was perfectly presented (I was nervous I'd be flying juices on my dress but it was perfectly placed within the shell with no additional work for the guests) and the filet was perfectly cooked. I also want to mention the fact that you can pay for an additional hour the night of your wedding to go outside on their stone beach for smores, beer, wine, and continued dancing. My husband and I got to do our last dance outside with our guests surrounding us with sparklers which I'd never seen before - something super special :) I know I'm forgetting so many things to mention, but just know that you will be taken care of by Oceanview and they will make your day one you will never forget. My husband and I got married at Oceanview of Nahant on June 5, 2021. It was the best day of our lives, but leading up to this wedding was a little crazy because of COVID. My husband and I struggled with the decision of moving our wedding and losing our date. Our wedding coordinator, Allison, worked with us to keep our date in addition to saving a winter date in 2022 at no additional cost, which was so beyond generous of her. However, we got extremely lucky with the guidelines lifting the week before our wedding and being able to have our full wedding on June 5th. Allison worked with us throughout all the decisions and guideline changes to make us feel fully informed and prepared for what our June 5th wedding would look like. We ultimately did not choose Oceanview but they still deserve a 5-star review! This venue was our first choice off Cape Cod but ended up being slightly out of our price range for what we wanted (but the prices are SO reasonable for the space and views). What really prompted this review, however, is Allison. We had already toured a few venues, but none had gone above and beyond for our tour like Allison & Oceanview did. For starters, we were greeted with a personalized welcome sign that we got to take home as a keepsake. Allison was energetic and was so happy for us--we felt like we had just told a longtime friend that we had just got engaged. Oceanview definitely was following all of the COVID restrictions/guidelines and we felt very safe throughout the entire tour. I also loved the pricing procedure--each office had a screen so you could see all the prices & totals as Allison input them into the computer, and they do a high/low comparison which I found very helpful. My fiancé and I left seriously debating whether to go above budget because Oceanview was so beautiful and Allison was so helpful. We decided to go with the in-budget option so I emailed Allison to let her know. She responded so sweetly and even offered any assistance should I need it in the future! A day or two later, we received a lovely thank you card in the mail--such a nice touch. Overall, Oceanview and Allison are doing it right!! 10/10 highly recommend for any couple wanting a beautiful beach setting with awesome views!

We got married this past July, when rules and restrictions were changing weekly due to COVID. But despite the uncertainty, the staff still seamlessly and professionally helped us alter our 180 person ceremony down to 50 people family-only. We were thrilled we were able to still get married on the Oceanview property, the view and atmosphere they have is stunning and feels so private. Upon arriving the morning of my wedding and from that moment on, Matt made sure everything ran smoothly, and was so dependable and helpful. It truly felt like everything was under control and I could breathe and relax and focus on what mattered. Even leading up to the ceremony and pre-COVID we were so happy with the customer service we received. Allison was so helpful and knowledgeable when we first toured the property and was efficient and friendly in all her communications following. I really can't recommend the Oceanview enough, my husband and I are so thrilled we chose them for our special day.

Once we decided to make plans to reschedule for the following summer they were more than accommodating allowing us to still get married on site on our original date, which we were planning on doing anyways and we were so happy we could still do it right on the water! It’s been 2 weeks since my husband and I tied the knot at the Oceanview of Nahant! The venue is absolutely breathtaking and Mike and Matt were so great throughout our whole minimony! We CANNOT wait until we get to have our big wedding celebration next year with all our family and friends at the Oceanview of Nahant where will get to enjoy the food, the dancing, and the most beautiful view!

The Oceanview is a special place. The beautiful view and the venue speak for itself, but the people make it special. During these uncertain times in 2020, we felt very strongly that we wanted to keep our wedding date and share our love with our family. It was very emotional in the weeks leading up to the wedding with the virus. We knew we were getting married this July regardless of what is going on the world. We're so grateful the owner Mike was just as onboard as we were to make it happen! Matt and Allison were there for us every step of the way, helped us keep our date and make it an amazing and unforgettable day. They were completely flexible. We scaled back the day from 120 people to 25 and after several contingency plans for the health of guests, our ceremony and reception was perfect. All of our guests raved about the food from the clam chowder to the perfectly cooked whole lobster - there was so much food and everything was delicious! We couldn't have a dance floor, so Matt and Allison setup fire pits on the beach for us after dinner. State regulations said we couldn't open the beautiful bar, so Ralph (who is awesome) and Richard (hilarious guy) ran us drinks all night. We were their first wedding after reopening and I'm still in awe about how much fun we had and how smooth everything went! The Oceanview made our pandemic wedding better than the original plan. You're in good hands with Mike, Matt, Allison, Ralph and Richard!

Throughout the entire year the process was extremely organized, they went out of their way to email us friendly reminders, gave us tips about food selections, and we even got to go to a tasting event with other couples to welcome everyone which was super fun. They were also very responsive to phone calls and emails which as awesome. The day before the wedding we had a final meeting to discuss all of our details, and the owner was even kind enough to order an alcohol they didn't normally carry for no additional charge. They even created a custom ice cream flavor for us based on our wedding theme!!! From there it only got better, the day of the wedding they were extremely helpful in guiding our bridal party, the food was incredible, and they even stayed with us at the end to help us unpack all of our stuff and put it back in the car. We truly had a day to remember and it was because of this incredible team of people. My husband and I were even surprised with a free T-shirt as a gift! You can see they all clearly care about you and your big day, and I think what sets them apart is the fact that they only do weddings; that way they can devote all their attention to you versus it being at a hotel or something like that. I don't know where to begin on how amazing the Oceanview and its staff are. The weather really threw things for a loop over my wedding weekend. It was rainy and extremely windy, which was heartbreaking because I always imagined having the ceremony outside with the stunning views. They had the ballroom set up for an indoor ceremony, and while it wasn't what I imagined, it was beautiful. Knowing how badly my husband and I wanted it outside, Ralph along with Allison and Caitlin kept checking the radar and were updating me on what was happening. They decided to delay the ceremony by 15 minutes, moved everyone outside, set up some chairs and somehow, the rain stopped long enough to get our ceremony and photos outside. They all truly went above and beyond to make this happen for us. Beyond this, the planning was stress-free -- they were always responsive with answering my questions and the day was absolutely seamless because of their professionalism. The food was amazing, the venue is stunning, and the staff will make your day better than you could even imagine.

WOW. This place does it better than ANYONE. I have so many good things to say, I don't even know where to begin. From the second you walk into this place, they make you feel so special. Matt is amazing and welcomed us on our first private tour with a sign with our names and glasses of champagne. We hadn't even booked yet and this was already how they were treating us! We asked to bring our parents to see and they greeted us all the same way. After looking around with Matt, my dad looked at me and said he wouldn't have me getting married anywhere but the Oceanview. Planning with them was a BREEZE, thank god because I'm not a good planner/host so the whole wedding reception thing was terrifying to me. We coordinated mostly with Allison who was amazing. She got married there the week before me and she was answering emails right up to the week of her wedding! And she always answers super quickly which was so helpful. My fiancee said many times to me \"what would we have done without Ralph..\" Ralph was FABULOUS. He led us through the entire night, making sure we had plenty of time for fun but also ensuring we were at the right place at the right time the whole night. He coordinated my first look with my dad, showing us the reception room before the guests came in, the cake cutting, and so many other things. Our guests were SO impressed with this place. We got many positive comments about the food, staff, and view. I really can't say enough about this place, but I have to stop somewhere. I guess I'll end with saying I was literally crying tears of joy in the limo on the way home because our wedding blew my wildest dreams out of the water, thanks to the Oceanview

We cannot say enough good things about the Oceanview! The entire staff is fantastic, and we felt they went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. We fell in love with the venue when we toured it, and opted for a Saturday afternoon clambake wedding this past June. They did an absolutely amazing job with their recent renovations so the venue is gorgeous inside and out. Our coordinator was fantastic to work with, and she made our planning process super easy as she was really responsive and the venue uses a planning portal. The day of, our coordinator made sure that everything ran on time and that my husband and I were where we needed to be so we didn't have to think about it. In addition to having a fantastic coordinator, the rest of the staff are wonderful as well and are all highly professional. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

My husband and I got married at the Oceanview of Nahant on August 10, 2019. Let me start by saying it was truly the best day of our lives. From the day we booked, Allison was my go-to with any questions. She was amazing. She answered me so quickly and was always happy and willing to do anything to help. There was always reminders sent out so that you know exactly what you should be thinking about in the timeframe you have. There was never any pressure placed to go with any type of extras that they offer. I see that Oceanview’s goal is truly to make your day how you envisioned it. The day of the wedding, Ralph and Caitlin were there. They were available for anything we needed and thought of anything we didn’t think of. I think Ralph found my phone more than twice that night, and also searched for the box that our champagne flutes came in so they didn’t break on the ride home. Above and beyond. Mike also expressed to me how much fun he and the groomsmen had with him, and enjoyed hearing his many wedding hosting experiences. Oceanview as a team is a well –oiled machine. They are professionals at making your day beautiful. You can let go of everything and enjoy. Our wedding was nothing short of perfect. A month later, guests saying, “that was the best wedding I have ever been to”, and “I can’t get over the views at your venue!” Thank you Oceanview of Nahant, I would recommend you to anyone.

What a beautiful venue & such accommodating staff! We got married there July 6th of this past year and of the 4th of July holiday weekend, our wedding happened during the one time it rained and a major thunderstorm came through! They were all prepared for it to be outside, per our original plans & when the weather changed last minute and the storm was coming our way, they already had the inside venue set up for a ceremony inside the ballroom without us even asking. They took it upon themselves to be prepared for whatever happens and we're glad they did because it literally started down pouring within a half hour leading up to our ceremony time and I was stressing out thinking people were going to have to stand and nothing was set up how I wished with the aisle hangers, programs, etc. but once Ralph told me everything was all set upstairs in the ballroom exactly as it would be outside just not literally outside, my stress went away and we had a beautiful indoor ceremony still overlooking the water and it was cozy and romantic. It really was a beautiful setting. Then they effortlessly flipped the room from ceremony to reception set up without a flaw while the guests were in the bar room! It was amazing how quickly and professionally they turned that room around to suit every occasion! Additionally the staff made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish with the ceremony, introductions, speeches, cake cutting, you name it! They didn't miss a beat and they were so communicative and friendly. The whole staff we worked with directly, Ralph, Allison, and Matt really did everything they could to make our day the best it could be and we're so appreciative. Ralph even helped my bridesmaids bustle my gown when they couldn't find the remaining hook! He was fantastic & so patient with our guests (which was not an easy feat!). The food was INCREDIBLE! & let me tell you, there was no shortage or skimping of it. Our guests are still raving about not only how beautiful the venue was but how good the food was! The Oceanview really has so many options for you to choose from and we took full advantage of some of the add ons like the Whiskey & Cigar bar (which our guests LOVED) as well as the Taco Bar, and Sangria Bar. The Oceanview really offered and helped us throw a spectacular wedding which we'll forever remember so we can't recommend them enough! Rain or shine, they will help make your wedding fantastic no matter what the weather decides to do!

Everything ran smoothly and we didn’t have to think about what step of the night came next because that was covered! During our planning process, Allison and Matt were there to answer any questions that came up with ease. The venue is extremely well kept and is always improving with new renovations! We fell in love with the venue when we booked our wedding, but it somehow got even better once our wedding date came around two years later :) The food on the night of our wedding was amazing! Everyone is still raving about the surf and turf which was steak and lobster tails. We even got these shirts that say “we tied the knot at The Oceanview of Nahant” and every time we wear them people always say how much they love the venue! We even met someone at the Charlotte North Carolina airport that knew The Oceanview of Nahant!This venue is highly recommended and definitely deserves 5 stars! We love The Oceanview of Nahant :)

My husband and I were just married at The Oceanview of Nahant in June 2019 and we could not have picked a more perfect oceanfront venue. Granted we lucked out with perfect weather on our big day, our experience with Oceanview was excellent from the start. When we first started looking at venues last year, Oceanview stood out to us as one of the most beautiful oceanfront venues. When we arrived for our first appointment to tour the venue, we were greeted by Allison who made us feel so welcome. After our initial meeting, we knew immediately this was where we wanted to say our I Do’s. Allison was our wedding coordinator throughout the planning process, and she was so incredibly patient and helpful in answering all my many questions. When our big day arrived, everything went so smoothly thanks to Ralph, our bridal concierge. Ralph was a superstar even assisting my maids of honor with my bustle! I really can’t imagine how our big day would have gone without Ralph there. Their staff is fantastic! We had the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony on their Beach Stone Terrace. Our guests loved the bubbly ceremony with the champagne and ending bubbles. The venue has so many different areas where guests can hangout. My guests especially loved the outdoor deck that had doors to both the lounge and ballroom. I know our last dance on the beach with our guests holding sparklers was an incredible photo-op and our guests also loved the firepit finale end. So many of my guests told me afterwards that our wedding was one of the nicest weddings they have ever been to. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend Oceanview.

My husband and I were just married at The Oceanview of Nahant in June 2019 and we could not have picked a more perfect oceanfront venue. Granted we lucked out with perfect weather on our big day, our experience with Oceanview was excellent from the start. When we first started looking at venues last year, Oceanview stood out to us as one of the most beautiful oceanfront venues. When we arrived for our first appointment to tour the venue, we were greeted by Allison who made us feel so welcome. After our initial meeting, we knew immediately this was where we wanted to say our I Do’s. Allison was our wedding coordinator throughout the planning process, and she was so incredibly patient and helpful in answering all my many questions. When our big day arrived, everything went so smoothly thanks to Ralph, our bridal concierge. Ralph was a superstar even assisting my maids of honor with my bustle! I really can’t imagine how our big day would have gone without Ralph there. Their staff is fantastic! We had the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony on their Beach Stone Terrace. Our guests loved the bubbly ceremony with the champagne and ending bubbles. The venue has so many different areas where guests can hangout. My guests especially loved the outdoor deck that had doors to both the lounge and ballroom. I know our last dance on the beach with our guests holding sparklers was an incredible photo-op and our guests also loved the firepit finale end. So many of my guests told me afterwards that our wedding was one of the nicest weddings they have ever been to. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend Oceanview.

There are not enough words I can even use to express how thankful I am to this venue (ESP Allison) for everything you did to make our day so magical!!! Like most girls, I have dreamed of this day forever and Oceanview exceeded EVERY expectation I ever had for my wedding day! The venue itself is breathtaking, the staff are ALL amazingly helpful, the Ocean breeze hitting my face as the gorgeous doors opened to my now husband still makes me break out in tears! Everything from the beautiful ceremony facing the ocean to the super modern and gorgeous reception hall, the gigantic bar area that had our photo booth & Bryan's favorite...the donut wall to the wrap around deck and night time games out on the lawn...ALL of this blew the mind of everyone of our guests. THANK YOU ALL for making our dream wedding a reality! Love you all

From the minute we had our first meeting with the oceanview we new this was the venue for us. Their attention to detail is what sets them apart from others. Wedding planning with Alison was an absolute breeze and the day of with Ralph he really does it all. He fixed my bustle by sewing me into my dress that came undone at the beginning of the night and he really made the night flow so easily I never had to think of anything because he was 5 steps ahead of me. You cannot beat the view, venue, or service at the oceanview. Highly recommend this amazing venue and team.

Allison was our coordinator, and she was a true GEM throughout the entire planning process. She was responsive with communication and listened to our wishes- never tried to sell us on anything we didn't want. Unfortunately, it poured on our wedding day, but the staff did everything possible to make sure our day was great despite the weather. We were married at the Oceanview of the Nahant on 6/8/2019, and the whole experience was amazing. It all started with our first visit to the site in May 2018. When we go there, we noticed the spectacular location of the venue right on the shore, overlooking the ocean. Upon entering the building, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated nautical themed site, complete with a very pleasant scent that was present in the air of the entire venue. We meet with Allison, one of the fantastic staff members, who then showed us around the rest of the venue. After this, we sat down with her and told her what we were looking for in our wedding planning. However, we knew on our end that this was going to be the end of our search, and we were going to do everything we could to make it work. When Allison told us about the option for a mid-morning ceremony with a clam bake option for the meal, we were sold. It didn’t take much consideration on our part; we knew we were going to sign and commit to having our wedding at the Oceanview. Following that day, we were blown away with the responsiveness of all the people we interacted with. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable about what we needed to have done. They did a great job in keeping in touch with us as well, checking in every now and then to see how our planning was progressing. It was an all around fantastic experience working with Allison, Caitlin, and the entire crew over at Oceanview. They made our wedding day so much more special and enjoyable, and were very helpful in making sure that all our bases were covered and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. My husband and I were just married at the Oceanview 6-7-19. We planned everything in six short months which made choosing a venue early, very important. I did not want to get married at a \"wedding factory\" (bad term) but once we sat down with the Oceanview staff - I changed my views. Oceanview KNOWS weddings. They understand how to coordinate vendors, execute events on time, keep things moving, keep everyone informed, etc. Trust me, you will be thankful for this. They calculated our ballpark price right on the day of our visit-everything was clear and transparent- no hidden fees, no extra gratuities or surprises the day of your wedding. You'll be all paid and worry free by the time your day rolls around. I'll add that I have worked in hospitality management since I was a teenager and my husband is an Executive Chef so we had very \"high standards\" and concerns regarding food and service. Oceanview worked with us to customize the menu a bit (e.g. 8 oz filets) and people adored the food. The Chef is a great guy and even met with my husband in advance to work out a menu. The service at the wedding was flawless. Two bartenders handled a 135 guest bar without a hitch - no long lines, no weak drinks. Ralph and his servers made sure I had a drink in my hand at all times and the packaged our leftover desserts for us to take home. Allison and Caitlin are delightful and they honestly want you to have the wedding of your dreams. Our guests are still talking about Oceanview - the water views during dinner and cocktail hour from the balcony, the ceremony (which will feel beautiful, casual, relaxed and intimate on the terrace) and the late night s'mores on the beach before going home. The whole wedding experience here will be unforgettable and unique for both you and your guests. Take the pressure off yourself during the stressful wedding process and let them handle the details so you can worry about what matters.

From the time we stepped foot within the venue we knew this was where we should start our forever. We originally met with Matt who was unlike any other person at any venue. The way he made us feel so comfortable so quickly was amazing and so reassuring. After we booked, we were in the capable hands of Allison, who sat, listened, and laughed with us on several occasions. (She was also very eager to hear all of our stories about our dog) Leading up to the day of, and throughout our wedding day, we felt very calm and at ease knowing that the team at Oceanview was putting together our perfect day. The whole day ran seamlessly, from the ceremony to the firepit finale ( which we highly recommend!).
