The venue really decorated itself, we just added some wildflowers to the tables! My husband and I loved the upstairs space for our dinner and ceremony, as well as the outdoor promenade area for our cocktail hour. The food was amazing, I would highly recommend the plated dinner option. The service went smoothly, I was impressed by how quickly everyone was served. Nancy was very easy to work with and was very accommodating with our requests. Due to rain on our day we were unable to have our ceremony outside, but we were able to fit everyone in the smaller room for that portion of the night. We also fit our ~100 guests in the banquet room for dinner which worked out well. The food was amazing and we received many compliments regarding it - especially the late night pretzels we had! We truly loved every moment of our wedding at The Old Feed Mill. The building itself is brimming with charm and set a perfect scene for our small, intimate ceremony and reception. The staff are wonderful, especially the coordinator, Nancy, who clearly knows this business inside and out. The food is out of this world good - it was the deciding factor in booking the venue after we stopped in for dinner one night, and our guests are still raving about the buffet! During our tasting, the chef came out to tell us how he made each of the dishes and to ensure if there was anything we wanted changed, etc. Whether you have your wedding at the Old Feed Mill or Sugarland, the food is made fresh and onsite (even at the barn they have a kitchen onsite). They are accommodating whether you want family style, buffet style, etc and your budget. They offer more informal dinners such as BBQ or picnic (brats and hamburgers) or more formal (cider roasted chicken and Cuban pork tenderloins) with multiple side options. They also have delicious desserts and the homemade bread is TO DIE FOR!!! I had a whole loaf myself at our wedding. Reviewed on 23-05-2017

The venue has rustic charm and the two rooms upstairs worked perfectly for our ceremony, dinner and reception. \r\rThey were very easy to work with and also allowed us to use the covered porch for our cocktail hour. \r\rPeople raved about the location, the food and we also got great photos because the building is so photogenic. We went with a plated meal mainly because our wedding was so small. The portions of the plates were amazing. Definitely more than I could have ever eaten. We went with the Cherry Chicken, Glazed Salmon and a Filet Mignon with crumbled blue cheese. We received amazing reviews from our guests on how great the steaks were, the one entree that we would concerned with.\rI would definitely suggest The Old Feed Mill for your catering needs. Nancy was easy to work with and responded to emails and phone calls promptly. We did the ceremony, meal, and reception on site.
