Let me start from the beginning - My husband and I were scheduled to get married here on Saturday, 11/28/20 but due to Covid-19, we decided to re-schedule. We were working with Carlos at this time however, he no longer works for the OFC. I mention him because he could not have been more understanding and helpful during this process. The OFC was very accommodating to our request and was able to offer us the same date one year later. Fast forward to our wedding day on Saturday, 11/27/21. For anyone who has never seen the OFC in person, it is a breathtaking venue, both inside and out. The pictures online do not do it justice. The entire evening our guests continued to express to my husband and I how absolutely beautiful the venue is. The layout is wonderful for a small or large event. We had a 65 person wedding and the room did not feel empty by any means based on the layout the OFC recommended. Now, for food. Our guests raved, and when I say raved I mean raved, about the cocktail hour food. Everyone was telling us how wonderful cocktail hour was. Then seated dinner arrived and the feedback was equally as good. I am vegan and the OFC was able to accommodate several meal options for me which I appreciated. The wait staff, bartenders, bridal attendant, and maitre’d were very helpful, attentive and professional. We couldn’t have asked for better. Sabine who I worked with the most exceeded my expectations. She is absolutely fabulous, so kind, was constantly answering my emails when there were last minute inquiries or issues, and just was a pleasure to work with during this process. We left all of our items at the venue on our wedding night, including my wedding dress as I had changed, and the next morning when we arrived everything was beautifully packed up and ready for us to take home. Our wedding flowed seamlessly and there is truly nothing I would change. Don’t walk, run! to book this venue for your special event.

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding at the old field club!! The food, the venue, beautiful view, service was all perfect. The staff was very professional. Carlos and Sabine took the time to answer all questions and meet multiple times to go through all details. I definitely recommend!!

We got married at the Old Field Club on 10-13-23 and I am truly so grateful to have found them. From the moment we walked into the Old Field Club, we instantly fell in love! We were looking for a rustic/fall wedding and it was the PERFECT setting. They had high ceilings, filled with lights and chandeliers, spacious bars, and a beautiful outdoor area and beautiful lake view (the sunset was stunning). Our Maitre d', Carlos, was absolutely PHENOMENAL. From the first day we met him, he was so informative, down to earth, and honest (which is huge when wedding planning). Every step of the way he was readily available for all of my insane questions and made the process truly so fun, exciting, and stress-free. The day of the wedding he was our literal right-hand. He, along with the bridal attendant, were right by our side for whatever we needed, but at the same time, he was one step ahead of everything. Every guest raved about 3 things--the place was stunning, the food was delicious, and Carlos is the man! We did the full cocktail wedding and when I tell you this was the biggest hit ever. Guests were able to eat when they want, dance when they want, and party when they want. The staff were extremely attentive and the food did not stop coming. Overall, the Old Field Club is a home run and checks every single box a bride can ask for. I also highly recommend checking out Element Events LI for the coolest full size mirror Photo Booth and 360 spinning videos, my guests loved them both so much! They also have champagne and flower walls that are an amazing touch and were a huge hit!

Getting married at Old Field was the best decision we made - we had the absolute best day possible. The grounds are GORGEOUS; it’s such a unique venue different than most on Long Island. And the team there is impeccable - Carlos answered every one of my emails for a whole year within 24 hours, my bridal attendant was never out of my sight and when it poured all morning, but I was dreaming of an outdoor ceremony, they took out towels and blowers and got to work drying down the whole place so we could get married outside. My guests were STUNNED. I received endless compliments about the food, the service and the venue. If I had to pick all over again, I’d choose OFC again and again!

I got married at the OFC 8.18.23. The venue is an absolute hidden gem. It is stunning with a rustic vibe and located right on the water. Everything from the cocktail hour to the sit down dinner was perfect. The service was amazing and we couldn't have done it without Carlos. Carlos was attentive and really made the details of the day run smooth. Our wedding was everything I could have imagined and more.

Working with Carlos & the Old Field Club team was such a wonderful experience. My husband and I had the best wedding and received so many compliments from guests about how great the venue was and how perfectly the day went. We couldn't be happier!! We highly recommend choosing the Old Field Club for your wedding – they are great to work with and accommodating throughout the entire planning process of your big day. Communication throughout the planning process was excellent, and on the wedding day, as the bride, I felt so looked after by Carlos and Eileen, the bridal attendant who helped make sure I was exactly where I needed to be throughout the day, and who constantly checked up on me to ensure I was comfortable and had what I needed.So grateful for the OFC team and still on cloud 9 from a perfect wedding!

My husband and I picked Old Field Club for our daughter’s wedding because of the reputation of the venue and its overall charm and beauty. Believe me, it did not disappoint! The room and the grounds were beautiful and the food and the service were top notch and high quality. The bartenders, servers and chefs did such an excellent job that no guest was left wanting for anything. The bridal attendant, Eileen was wonderful and was so calming and thought of everything to help with bustling the gown to repairing a torn button. And in charge if it all is Carlos, who is the ultimate in professionalism and catering needs. He not only oversaw the entire reception, but the ceremony as well, which was on site. He made everything run smoothly and there was not a time that I did not see him checking on food, drinks or anything that the guests needed. He was especially attentive to the bride and groom and looked out for every aspect of their comfort and enjoyment. And leading up to the wedding, he was extremely helpful and was always there to answer my call or get back to me about any question or issue I imagined. He knew as the MOB, that I had many things to take care of and his understanding and attentiveness were and still are so appreciated. I cannot say how happy I am that my daughter and son in law had their wedding at the Old Field Club because not only was it a truly wonderful experience but it created a memory my family will always remember! This was the only venue we looked at and immediately knew we wanted to get married here. Sabine was a great communicator leading up to the wedding with any questions we had. Carlos, the maitre’d, was AMAZING!!!! He was super thoughtful on all the little details. He threw in a champagne wall for us which our guests thought was so cool! He was a HUGE help with planning around the rain. He let us come earlier than planned so we could take pictures inside! He was quick to help us move our ceremony inside and honestly it was just as beautiful as outside. Everything went smoothly the night of, and if something went wrong we had no idea. Carlos and the bridal attendant, Eileen, made sure my husband and I had a tasting of all of the food from cocktail hour in the bridal suite. They assisted us with anything we needed all evening. They allowed us to pick multiple dinner options so we could taste everything. Our guests have only said amazing things about the food and drinks! We also opted to pay an additional small cost for the lights above the dance floor to be up, and I think it tied nicely to the entire venue! I cannot recommend this venue enough to everyone!!Overall, if you are looking for a rustic, elegant and timeless venue please go look at The Old Field Club!

We got married at the Old Field Club on a Saturday in September 2023 and it was amazing! The floor had recently been redone and there was new furniture on the patio so the place was in tip top shape for our event. Leading up to the wedding day, Carlos was super helpful and patient in dealing with all of our MANY questions and requests. What I loved about the venue itself was the variety of places to go for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. We luckily had good weather and were able to be outside for the ceremony. The waterfront location makes it perfect for photos. Our guests loved the outdoor space during the reception and got to make smore's at the after party! The reception room is gorgeous with the vaulted wood ceiling and hanging chandeliers. Carlos and Eileen were essential in making the day run smoothly. They truly went above and beyond to make sure myself, my husband, our families and our guests were taken care of. I'll never forget my sister and Eileen bustling my dress in the bridal suite, doing a funny bit in English accents like they were my servants! When a family member was late to the ceremony, Carlos and Eileen jumped in as soon as he arrived to make sure he was spiffed up and ready to walk down the aisle. We are so appreciate for all of their care!The majority of our guests came from out of town, many out of state, and couldn't stop raving about the food and service. I can't count how many people told us they've never seen so much food at a wedding. The staff was very attentive and everyone always had a drink or something to eat at the ready!I looked at so many venues an am so glad we went with the Old Field Club. The professionalism and good energy of the staff allowed for everyone to have great night, one that we'll never forget!

My wife and I were looking for a venue that had rustic charm on Long Island. Finding a spot that had the right aesthetic and on-site catering was a challenge…until we found the Old Field Club (OFC). OFC was highly recommended by multiple relatives and, during our first visit at the venue we were accompanied by Sabine, the general manager. She was straight forward and to the point, which we liked. The venue itself is beautiful, well maintained, and charming – exactly what we were looking for. The venue is the perfect setting for photos and also has access to a nearby beach with cabanas that is also a great setting.Initially my wife and I were a little concerned that the dance floor is slightly separated from the main dining hall. However, it ended up being the best setup, having plenty of space for our 10-piece band and our guests, who were dancing all night long. Having a bar next to the dance floor was also a plus. The guests who needed a break from the dancing or a space to talk were able to go outside onto the beautiful deck and lawn areas, or access the rear bar and lounge area. Our maître d’ at OFC was Carlos, and he was great. He was accommodating and easy to deal with while selecting food, flexible when it came time to drop off decorations, and he assured us that our wedding day would have no issues. He exceeded expectations and also worked with our day of coordinator. Lastly, the food at OFC was amazing. All of the guests were raving about it. Everything was prepared perfectly and was delicious. The staff made sure that my wife and I ate, and it didn’t feel like a wedding meal! If you’re looking for old world charm on Long Island, book the OFC.

My husband and I got married here at the beginning of August and I cannot say enough good things. Eileen and Carlos work like a well oiled machine. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule and that we were actually able to eat and enjoy our wedding. Our guests continue to rave about the venue, the food and the service, even noting that the water glasses were never less than half empty and napkins were always folded when they left their chairs. Highly recommend!

If I could give Old Field Club 10 stars ⭐️ I would. They provided exceptional service from the date we viewed the venue all the way to the end! Sabine was a pleasure to work with in the beginning stages of planning. She answered every email-question promptly and was extremely professional and personable. As the wedding got closer we worked with Carlos to finalize all the details of the celebration. Carlos kept in touch with us and also promptly returned our emails. He even gave us his personal cell number so we could text him the days leading up to the wedding. I asked Carlos about where to. get farmhouse tables and he set me up with a company and even booked it for me, The night of the reception was the most amazing part. When we walked in after the church and looked in the room, the place looked absolutely amazing and even more beautiful than our daughter-the bride - could have envisioned! It brought tears to our daughters eyes. Carlos and Eileen- our bridal attendant took care of the bride and groom all night long with smiles the whole time. Eileen waited for us to give her pictures of how Our daughter wanted her cake decorated with flowers and she did a beautiful job on it. Carlos made sure they ate and made sure my daughter was able to get a special cocktail she requested. He was by her side all night making sure she and her husband got everything they needed. All of the bartenders and waitstaff were awesome too. They were all friendly and so accommodating to the guests, Upon leaving at the end of the night, we were told to take our time and not rushed out at all! At the end of the reception my husband and I looked at each other and said it was a PERFECT night! Everything was amazing staff and the food too!! I cannot say enough positive things! Old Field Club did an amazing job with our wedding and really made the day go great. Less than two months before our wedding our maitre d' left the venue, but the new maitre d' Carlos, did a great job catching up, responding quickly to emails and being very helpful with all our requests leading up to the wedding. On the day of, he and the bridal attendant, Eileen, were so so helpful, especially with some decorations we brought to put up ourselves. The venue also did a great job creatively displaying all the decor we left with them. Many guests were saying how good the waitstaff was and how nice Carlos was. The food was GREAT. My husband and I received so many compliments on how good the food was and how great the options were. Months later, the food is still what everyone remembers. I honestly would love to go back just to experience the venue as a guest. The reception hall was beautifully set up. The DJ placement was not too loud to not be able to talk to people but not too separate that you couldn't enjoy it if you weren't on the dance floor. Everything worked out great and looked beautiful. We're very happy we made the decision to go with OFC!

We got married on 10/2/22 and had the most spectacular day at the Old Field Club. We fell in love with the venue the first time we saw it. It is the perfect mix of rustic and elegant, with tons of light and gorgeous grounds. It was super windy on our wedding day so we had to move our ceremony inside at the last minute but the staff at OFC did such an amazing job of transforming the space and our guests adored the high ceilings and fireplace inside. The staff was amazing in keeping us on schedule and working with our other vendors. The food was INCREDIBLE. Our guests raved all night about the cocktail hour and buffet dinner. For dessert we had pie and ice cream and everyone thought it was so much fun. We felt so supported by everyone at the OFC, especially Dan and Chris. Wedding planning can be super stressful but we felt totally supported by the OFC and highly recommend them for all your events! Our day was wonderful- thank you Old Field Club!!

My husband and I got married at the OFC last week on November 4th and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences of our lives. A day we will never forget. Everything at the OFC was absolutely wonderful. From the delicious food, to the beautiful scenery, to the amazing staff, everything was absolutely perfect for our special day! Carlos, the Events Manager, is an absolute rockstar! Not only did he create our dream venue setup, he was by our side all night long ensuring everything ran smoothly and on time! The staff, especially my bridal attendant, were also so friendly and kind and our guests had a spectacular time. We could not have asked for a better venue and events team. Everything was absolutely perfect and I cannot recommend this venue enough. Thanks again Carlos and team for the most amazing wedding day!

My husband and I got married at OFC this October and it was truly incredible. One of the main reasons we had such an incredible experience was because of our Maitre D, Carlos. Carlos was not who we were originally assigned to, as we had been working with someone else for the entire process. However, 2 days before the wedding, Carlos reached out to me and let me know that due to an unforeseen event, he would be taking over. You would never have guessed that Carlos was not the one working with us from the beginning. He was on top every detail, and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. He was attentive the whole night, and made sure my me and my husband, our parents, and all of my guests had everything we needed. We were even given time at the end of the rehearsal dinner, the night before the wedding to stay and set up all the decor which I was SO happy about. I could not have been more pleased with my experience at OFC and working with Carlos and the rest of the staff.

This place was a dream come true. I was dead set on a rustic, fall wedding and they were exactly what I was looking for. Everything we asked for was done, and they threw in tons of extras. Carlos was our Maitre'D and was incredible with us the entire night and super attentive to our parents and my grandparents. We had Eileen as our Bridal Attendant as well, and she too was wonderful. Constantly bringing us food, new drinks, seeing if we needed anything and packed up so much extra desserts for us on the way out. The food was next level, and I made it a point to Carlos and Eileen that we wanted to be able to sit down and actually have dinner. Carlos had the chef bring our meals out first, sat us down to eat and even kept our guests at bay so we could have a few uninterrupted minutes to enjoy it. OFC says that their max capacity is 180 and our guest count ended up being 160 including myself and my husband. Honestly, I think that that was the perfect amount, I definitely think any more than that would have been too cramped. I’m hoping someone in my family decides to get married there just so that I can have an excuse to go back!

The Old Field Club was a dream come true for us, we were having a unique wedding (a destination wedding first) and wanted to find somewhere to have a beautiful celebration after with our closest family and fields. The Old Field Club offered the perfect intimate space, where you felt like their top priority, never a number. It represented elegance and a beauty inside the club, as well as their gorgeous grounds during any season!! The maitre d' Dan and Carlos were amazing, as well as all the staff. They worked with us along every step of the way and made us feel like royalty on our special day! This venue is a rare gem on Long Island and I couldn't recommend it more - one happy bride!!

Absolutely excellent venue!!!! The location, ballroom, grounds are all breathtaking. Carlos, Sabine, Eileen and staff could not have been more attentive for my daughter/soninlaw and families!!! Deciding to have our wedding at the Old Field Club was the first and BEST decision I could have made. To say it was the wedding of our dreams is an understatement. I had friends and family coming up to me all night telling me it was the best wedding they had ever been to! From start to finish, Dan and Sabine and their team at the Old Field Club went ABOVE AND BEYOND expectations. Every concern, question, request - they handled it all with grace. Client satisfaction is their #1 priority, and it shows. They also provide a day of coordinator and bridal attendant that coordinates and streamlines communication with your vendors so that you can just sit back and enjoy your day as the Bride. Myself, my friends and family were all blown away by the space, the food, and the impeccable service. But top tier food and service aside, if you are looking for a one-of-a-kind venue, this is it. The flow of the space is truly unrivaled - from spacious outdoor terraces and lush greenery for cocktail hour and after dinner cigars to the vintage dance floor and separate seating area with a gorgeous kings table, every square inch of the grounds has a rustic charm that you can't help being enamored by - my guests sure were!

Absolutely magnificent from beginning to end! My son and his bride were finally able to celebrate their marriage after Covid delays. Staff could not have been more helpful or supportive through the entire process... from the first re-scheduling right up until the final event. The views are incredible and the food is amazing. The room was set up perfectly ... Dan really listened to my daughter-in-law's very specific instructions. Our guests are calling and texting to tell us just how wonderful everything was. I'm not a fan of superlatives but this place truly is the best.

Both leading up to the event and on the day of the wedding, the Old Field Club's staff did everything possible to ensure that our wedding was a wonderful day for us. We knew we were in good hands and were able to relax and enjoy the time we had with our family and friends while Dan and the OFC staff made sure that all of the essential things happened before people had to leave.Eileen was a wonderful bridal attendant, and the food was delicious! (Dan was even kind enough to wait with us when our car left without us at the end of the wedding 😂 what a memorable close!)We would recommend the Old Field Club to any couple looking to enjoy themselves as guests at their own party.

We recently had my daughters baby shower at Old Field Club. The only think I can say is UNBELIEVABLE, from start to finish!!! The Venue is absolutely beautiful and perfectly nestled on the LI SOUND! When visiting the site and booking with Dan, he made everything so turn key. When processing the administrative paper work with Sabine, she was on top of everything and knew exactly what my visions for the day were! It was wonderful seeing all of it come together at this elegant venue. All staff were wonderful Matt, Eileen and Dan saw that my guests were happy at all times. The food was delish!!! My phone didn’t stop ringing with calls and texts raving about the shower, and many plan on using Old Field Club for future events! The momma to be (my daughter) was over the moon with joy at what a special location and shower it was! I highly recommend the champagne brunch if looking to host a shower! I can’t wait until my younger daughter is ready for a baby shower because I plan on doing it all again with the wonderful staff at the Beautiful Old Field Club!Thank you All for your kindness, patience and professionalism for this special day!

Having our wedding at the OFC was a dream! Not only is the venue itself stunning, but the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process and we really can’t recommend them enough. Sabine and Dan helped answer all of our questions along the way. The food was PHENOMENAL and they even allowed us to select a specific beer to have on tap. They helped make sure the flow of the day was flawless. Everything went smoothly, all of the decorations were placed perfectly as we asked, and they coordinated with all of our vendors which made our lives so much easier. Thank you so much Sabine, Dan, and everyone else at the Old Field Club! You made our wedding day perfect.

My husband and I got married here 11/11. It was absolutely amazing. It was everything we wanted and more. We first met with Chris when we were considering booking. He was so nice and knowledgeable about everything. He was not bothered at all about my 100 questions he answered each one with patience. We were blown away with the ombiance of the hall the wood beams give it a beautiful rustic warm feel. The grounds are impeccable. As my event got closer I was introduced to my maitre d Danny. This man literally made mine and my husband's wedding the best ever. He again patiently answered any questions we had, provided excellent advice and made everything flow effortlessly. including helping with our night before last minute email requests.I can not speak highly enough about this place or their staff. They were not overbearing but some how were right there any time my husband or I needed anything. The food was out of this world. Chicken Asiago, Flank steak, and Swordfish. The sushi for the cocktail hour was amazing. super fresh and tasty. we can not thank this place enough for making our wedding day truly amazing and everything we wanted. highly recommend.

I was married at The Old Field Club on Sept 26, 2021 and I am still thinking about how beautiful the day was. From the moment we walked in the door we knew the Old Field Club was the place for us. The wedding day was nothing short of magical. The room is gorgeous, even without the flowers and candles! Dan and Sabine were so easy to work with and made sure to ask all of the right questions ahead of time. The food was abundant and delicious. We ended up having about 110 people with farm tables down the center and it was the perfect amount of space! Highly recommend it for a casual elegant affair!

We were married on April 30, 2021 and it was an absolutely beautiful wedding. The venue itself is beautiful with a great view, and they added more tents / awnings outside and fire pits, heating towers, so it's comfortable for people to be outside. We worked with Sabine since day one who was very helpful, she's not sending a million emails which we appreciated and when we needed help/had a questions, she was very fast to respond. I appreciate in the planning during COVID her #1 goal was to make sure we were happy. Day of, Dan was our maitre'd and he was so amazing! So helpful and made sure we were cared for throughout the entire evening. The entire staff was great. Food was delicious!! All guests commented on it, and the cocktail hour was so robust some thought it was the main course. We didn't do a taste test ahead of time, and we were just wowed. We had 85 guests, venue holds up to 180, and thought it was a perfect amount of space. Because the venue is independently owned, they were very flexible and accommodating to a smaller wedding size. Last, compared to other venues the cost value is a million times better than anything else we saw.

I am not normally one to write reviews, but rather like to look at them to help make my decisions. However, after having my wedding at the Old Field club I would be doing anyone looking for a wedding venue a disservice if I did not leave a review.There are NO words to describe what a wonderful experience my fiancé and I had with the old field club. We booked our wedding in the beginning of the pandemic. There were so many unknowns but the entire staff was so supportive, informative, and communicative. I would be remiss if I did not speak about the wonderful manager Sabine. Sabine is a true gem. She offered endless support, constant communication, and was always a bright light throughout all the unknowns regarding wedding planning during COVID. If you are looking for a wedding venue, don't walk, RUN to the old field club. Everyone who attended my wedding has not stopped talking about how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was and how fantastic the staff was. My wedding was the everything I could have hoped for and more and that is in large part due to sabine and the Old Field Club!

COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!I highly recommend The Old Fields Club - not only did I fall in love with the venue the moment I walked in, but the staff is absolutely incredible. Even during the peak of Covid, Sabine was and has been amazing. She is extremely down to earth and is a breath of fresh air when it comes to visiting wedding/event venues - especially during Covid. She felt like a friend immediately. I recommend the venue and Sabine to everyone I speak to who is looking at venues on Long Island.We loved it so much, I booked my Bridal Shower and then my sister booked her Wedding. If I saw it before my wedding venue, I would have booked here too! Even on a rainy day the interiors are absolutely stunning - you don't get a lot of that on Long Island. With 4 sisters in my family, I foresee a lot of baby showers, communions and other events in our future! Thank you to Sabine for making this process so seamless! We appreciate you!

Lovely location with an appealing layout however dealing with their management is not worth it. Their General Manager is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Extremely rude and nasty with her clients. Threatens to call the police on your guests and ruin your wedding if any minor rule is broken. Shocked by how they treat potential brides and grooms. STAY AWAY!

If you have the opportunity to get married at the Old Field Club, do it! My husband and I booked OFC for a December 2020 wedding. Our plans changed due to COVID. We reached out to OFC in August to figure out a plan B. We spoke with Sabine, and she was so honest with us about the guidelines, and really gave us her honest opinion. We decided to have a small ceremony on our original wedding date and postponed our reception to December 2021. Planning a wedding in 2020 was stressful, and having honest and reliable vendors was so helpful. The day of our ceremony was magical. Sabine was so attentive, and everything went so smoothly. It really was the perfect day. It makes me even more excited to have our reception next year with family and friends at the Old Field Club.

We booked OFC in January 2019 for a May 2020 wedding with no idea what was to come in March 2020. (We actually had our final meeting with Carlos the weekend before the shut downs in March!) Sabine & Carlos were an absolute pleasure to work with in navigating the entire process. We ended up deciding to do a very small 20 person ceremony in October fairly last minute, but Sabine & Carlos were absolutely fantastic in making sure it was beautiful and special. I could not recommend them more!

Our wedding day was perfect. With all the stress, the changes of plans, having to make difficult decisions, and not having everyone there that we wanted to, the day turned out to be perfect. The weather was clear, the food was amazing. Carlos and Eileen were exceptional. They were attentive, caring, and in general were just nice, decent human beings. However, the General Manager, Sabine, was not. She did not introduce herself to anyone in the wedding party, she did not offer any congratulations to myself, my new husband, or our parents. She immediately gave the groom and his groomsmen a hard time the minute they walked through the door, making them feel anything but welcomed from the start. Perhaps all of that seems small, and could have been overlooked. But the worst part about Sabine was that towards the end of the evening, 30 minutes before my wedding ended, she stormed up to me while I was sitting at my table eating our wedding cake and proceeded to then yell in my face (not 6 ft away), and slammed her hand down repeatedly on my table. This resulted in me spending a great deal of the the last 30 minutes of MY wedding in the bathroom and the bridal suite trying to calm down so I could go back out there and try to enjoy the rest of the night. I DO NOT CARE what the circumstances were, or what led her to scream at me - this is completely unacceptable behavior. She is a professional, working at a catering hall; I’m pretty sure the “golden rule” of a wedding is “don’t upset the bride.” She could have went up to any of the 46 other people in the room and screamed her head off - which even that would really not have been appropriate - but at least it would not have involved me and caused me to cry on my wedding day. What’s more - when Sabine “apologized” to me for yelling, her apology was, “Sorry if you thought I was yelling, I’m just loud,” and then she proceeded to tell me that my “guests were obnoxious.” Sabine, you were the only person I witnessed being obnoxious that night. Please, for the sake of any future brides that get married at this establishment, do not let this woman near the bride. She is clearly not suited for this position if she can’t handle a wedding of less than 50 people in an appropriate and professional manner. P.S. I originally asked my maid of honor to write this review and submit for me - but it was “disputed” by The Old Field Club because she was a “witness.” So, special thanks to Old Field Club and The Knot for forcing me to relive this atrocity one more time. What’s most telling about this whole situation is how Old Field Club was quick to request the knot take down my MOH’s review about Sabine’s unprofessional behavior but not one person from Old Field Club has reached out to me about this matter, a week later.

My daughter's wedding at Old Field exceeded our expectations. Aside from the venue being all that we wanted aesthetically ...Carlos (maître d) – amazing! We had several people tell us how professional, helpful and kind he was. A true gentleman. He went out of his way in every dimension; managed every aspect with completeness and authority – not an easy thing to do with our group. Serenity (bridal attendant) – such an extraordinary and poised young woman. There was not enough she could do for everyone. She made the evening effortless. We worried about nothing. Every small detail, she either noticed or took care of.

The Old Field Club was the first venue we looked at and we knew right away that we didn’t need to look any further. One of the main reasons my husband and I had such an amazing wedding was because of the beautiful work done by the Old Field Club. Every part of the evening was carried out perfectly, from the details of the venue set up, to the incredible food that all the guests raved about, and the whole flow of the evening. In the months leading up to the wedding Stephanie was extremely helpful as she answered all of our questions and set up multiple one-on-one meeting times for us to discuss logistics and our vision. Carlos was our Mater Die and he could not have been more accommodating and organized! He ran a smooth rehearsal ceremony for us the day before and the night of our wedding made sure everything was stunning and as we pictured our wedding to go. If I could go back and redo our wedding, I wouldn’t, because it was the most wonderful evening thanks to the Old Field Club!

We hosted our daughter and son in-laws wedding celebration on Nov. 24, 2019 at the Old Field Club and couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. From start to finish, every detail that my daughter felt was important was carefully and beautifully displayed. Carlos and his staff were absolutely wonderful. The food was fantastic. Our guests continued to compliment us on what a wonderful time they had for days after the wedding. The entire staff made all of us feel like family. We had our wedding at Old Field Club on 11/30/19. This venue is a hidden gem! It is a timeless, gorgeous, and cozy venue right on the water. Old Field Club was the first and last venue we looked at. We knew right away that this was where we wanted our wedding to be. It truly took our breaths away. The staff at Old Field Club was amazing. From start to finish, they were a breeze to work with. Very attentive, responsive, and accommodating to whatever we asked. Leading up to the wedding, they assured us that all of our decor would be displayed as we wanted it to be. The staff truly brought our vision to life!! Carlos was our Maitre D and he was phenomenal. He greeted us with our Signature Drinks and was by our side to make sure we had everything we needed during our wedding. He was very attentive to our families as well. The food was incredible! The entire night we had guests coming up to us saying this was the best wedding they've ever been too and I attribute so much of that to Old Field Club! I wish we could relive our day again and we are so thankful to everyone there for making it so perfect! We love the Old Field Club!

If your looking for something different in the sense of not your typical Long Island catering hall .... The Old Field Club is the place to have your wedding . My husband and I have been to a lot of weddings on the island so when we started our venue search we didn’t have to look any further when doing a walk through at the old field club . The view of being on the water with the rustic high ceiling decor and romantic lighting is nothing short of perfect. We loved that it was a one event at a time venue and the food is Amazing. You also get the country side feel with the beautiful land surrounding to make for great on site pictures. From start to finish the staff was so accommodating, easy to work with and communication was on point . The entire staff was caring and for sure made us feel special . With that being said we would like to thank you all for making our wedding on 10/12/19 the best day of our lives.

Working with Stephanie and Carlos at the Old Field Club was nothing short of spectacular. They did not miss a beat from e-mail and phone correspondence leading up to the event (over a year of this) right through day before and day of. Our wedding was seamlessly executed and Carlos and Stephanie handled everything with a calm but efficient and swift demeanor. At no point during the entire process did we experience a hiccup. We'd recommend having your wedding at OFC to any couple, not only for the delicious food prepared by its on site kitchen or food the beautiful and comfortable venue itself (both inside and out), but especially because of the top-notch service provided by their team.

Our wedding was held here a few weeks ago and we couldn't be happier. The Club made our evening perfect from start to finish. We were honestly a little concerned at first because there had been some staffing changes, but Carlos and his team exceeded all of our expectations. From keeping things running on time to making sure we had everything we might need, we felt so taken care of all night. Carlos and Sabine made sure we always had drinks, made us plates of food, brought snacks during photos and he even brought us ice cream sundaes with the toppings we asked for. The Club also made sure to have the beers we wanted on tap and the food was excellent- we received so many compliments. The Old Field Club is truly a special place to have your wedding and we are so grateful for the most magical night.

If you are looking for the perfect venue for your wedding.....Old Field Club is the place you want! Every detail from the food, location, service, staff everything was PERFECT!!!!! Carlos the maitre d was OUTSTANDING!!! I could not have gone through my wedding day without him. Stephanie the coordinator was outstanding as well. She was a pleasure to work with and was available to answer all our questions and concerns leading up to the big day. We are still in a whirlwind over our wedding. Every person we talk to about the venue says the same thing.....it’s a hidden gem. From the first day we walked in, we knew immediately it was the place for us. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is looking for a rustic, romantic, comfortable venue for their wedding. My husband and I got married at the Old Field Club this past July & absolutely loved everything about this venue. From the moment we first saw the OFC, we knew it was the one. It is so different than other venues we have seen - the rustic, romantic setting is so unique. The areas surrounding the venue (cabanas, beach, horse barn) are all beautiful places for pictures. We took our pictures at Avalon Park and the venue and loved the scenery! The staff at OFC was so attentive to details and our needs which made the day go so smooth. Stephanie helped us with details after we booked and I was SO happy when I found out she was going to be our maitre’d because I knew we were in good hands. Also, the food at OFC is delicious! We had a buffet style dinner & it was incredible. We received so many compliments from our guests on the food & how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The OFC completely exceeded our expectations. Thank you OFC staff for making our wedding day so special!

The Old Field Club was the only venue I wanted to look at and I booked immediately. I cannot get over how incredible the space is. All my boho dreams came true on my wedding day. I worked closely with Stephanie, who is a complete gem of a person. She is very efficient and super patient. As well, my maitre d Carlos went above and beyond. He was on top of everything the whole evening and made sure I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. I highly recommend the OFC!! The best day ever!

The Old Field Club is one-of-a-kind venue with impeccable customer service from start to finish. I had both my ceremony and reception at The Old Field Club on 7/27/19 and the event was executed flawlessly. The staff at the Old Field Club truly sets them apart. A few months prior to my wedding day, I met with Stephanie in person. When she told me there was another event the morning of the wedding I was really nervous. She assured me the staff would have the event completed turned over and ready for my night wedding, and she was absolutely right. Following our meeting she answered any additional question I had over email so quickly. My husband was very particular about the Montauk beer selection on tap and Stephanie ensured that we could have the Driftwood on tap. I had a few last minute guest drop outs and she adjusted my bill accordingly. She is so patient and accommodating, which is so important in the wedding industry. The day of the wedding, Stephanie was on-site working my wedding in addition to my Maître D Carlos and Bridal Attendant Serenity. Stephanie helped my mom with my wedding bustle, and I even saw her serving food at my buffet when the line was long. I met my Maître D, Carlos, at the ceremony rehearsal. He was so organized and efficient, he led the ceremony rehearsal and put everyone at ease. The day of, Carlos ran the show and could not have been more supportive. Multiple times throughout the night he was asking my husband, myself, and our parents if we needed anything. I found out after my outdoor ceremony that a hurt goose was wandering into the ceremony and getting really close to the bridal party. Carlos quickly and quietly got the goose away from the girls and out of the ceremony. He truly went above and beyond the day of to ensure everything was perfect. Serenity was my personal bridal attendant. She did everything from holding my dress train to filling my bridal suite with food and beverages. After the ceremony, she came in with a special appetizer platter for my husband and I so we could have a brief moment alone and enjoy the amazing cocktail hour food. For dinner, she made us a personal plate and ensured we were eating and happy. She was awesome! The entire staff was truly top notch. Guests told us after the wedding that the Old Field Club served the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We went with buffet which kept a fun, casual atmosphere and allowed guests to enjoy multiple dishes. I highly recommend the pasta Bolognese, salmon and short rib grits! We also added the lamb chops at cocktail hour and mac and cheese bar, highly recommend both! The venue itself feels so intimate and so different from a typical wedding factory venue. The fireplace, outdoor deck on the water and Old Field mural set it apart from other venues on Long Island. I had 110 guests, and loved that they could move inside and outside as they pleased and had enough space on the dance floor. This venue is worth every penny. Thank you to the OFC staff for an unforgettable wedding day!

The moment I walked into the Old Field Club I knew it was going to be our wedding venue. The staff was so helpful throughout and accommodating. Stephanie was amazing and very timely with all my questions! On our wedding day I did not have to worry about a thing! The Old field club staff carried out our big day without a flaw. All our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how good the food was. Any time I needed anything during our wedding day someone was there to help! I completely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a rustic wedding!

Recently I had my son's 16 th birthday party here. Having never been there , I based my decision on good reviews. I assumed I would be in good hands. Was told last minute that there would be no maitre d' and that Stephanie would be assuming this role. To condense my review she was unprofessional, incompetent and actually stated, \"I don't care.\" when she was made aware cold pasta was served before the event's scheduled time to guests who were not seated and passed hors d' oeuvres still being served . Salad was placed then removed from the table before guests knew it was served, as they were on the dance floor. Poor service through out event. Coffee was served cold. The ice cream bar consisted of one individual to serve all the guests. plates were never cleared from the table nor were water glasses filled. This was a sit down dinner. After Stephanie was made aware of the cold pasta and serving time being off she passed her role to another staff member. Things did not improve. Following the event, I had a discussion with Dennis the general manager. He did not apologized nor take my complaint seriously. There were many other issues that are contributed to a very poor service the Old Field Club delivers . In the end I would never recommend this venue.

The Old Field Club was our dream venue! It was the only one we looked at and when we met with Sabine, we knew it was the right place for us. Sabine was incredible throughout the entire planning process, coordinating with all our vendors, and the Maitre D Rob had our party going all night without a hitch! They treat you like family and have an incredible backdrop for your wedding day. Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous our wedding was, and how amazing the food was! It was the most perfect day! Rob and Sabine truly made our wedding day dreams come true.

From the first moment my husband and I stepped into the Old Field Club, we knew it was the perfect place to have our dream wedding. Because of the wonderful staff at OFC, our dream came true! Every step along the way everyone was so attentive. Stephanie is an absolute sweetheart! She was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and made it fun (even though I was totally stressed!!!). Rob, our maître d‘, was phenomenal! He was so thorough to make sure our day was planned perfectly and he worked so hard the day of our wedding we didn’t have a thing to worry about. The grounds are stunning and we received soooo many compliments on our venue choice. And of course, the most important thing.... the food is AMAZING! The list of wonderful things goes on! To sum up, if you pick OFC for your special day, you will not be disappointed ;)

The first and ONLY venue that we even looked at; we knew from our initial walk through that The Old Field Club was our place. We had a Friday night reception and opted for the buffet; the food was fabulous and the feel of the wedding was exactly what we wanted. We were allowed to use a confetti cannon (with a clean up fee) that absolutely made the wedding. Rob and Stephanie were very attentive and made my husband and I feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Really was the best day ever!

We had an October wedding at Old Field and it was absolutely perfect. Stephanie was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process, helping us coordinate details and answering questions. We had an outdoor ceremony, which was lovely, and then partied the rest of the night inside! There were a lot of little details we didn't have to worry about (Old Field has tables and easels for name cards, and family photos, for example, plus succulent plants on the patio tables, and a beautiful box for wedding cards). Because the space is so lovely, we didn't have to go crazy with decorations.

As soon as we saw the Old Field Club we knew it was the place for our wedding. Between the rustic-style ballroom, the intimate size and the water view, I could just picture it becoming everything I've always envisioned – and it did! In addition to how beautiful the place is, the staff was incredible to work with. They were so accommodating and available for every question during the planning process, and on the day of the wedding they made sure everything was perfect. Rob, the maître d', is such a professional. He took care of everything and made sure the night went off without a hitch. Food, service, setting–everything was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding.

My husband and I were very picky about our venue - we wanted a place on the water with character, good food, and that only did one event at a time. We found it! Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. The location of OFC is picturesque and we timed it so that our cocktail ceremony was outside during sundown - gorgeous! The food was spectacular, plentiful, and delicious. Some of our guests thought the cocktail hour was actually dinner because of the quality and amount of food. Dinner was tasty too (we served filet mignon and fish). Additionally we had a few people with allergies and OFC was super accommodating. We got a ton of compliments on the food. Rob, the maitre’d was also excellent. He made sure every detail went as planned and even hid some extra appetizers in the bridal suite for me and my husband to enjoin while we signed our marriage license. I also thought I lost a gift (I ended up finding it a day later), but Rob was super helpful during that process as well. Overall, I cannot recommend the OFC enough, it was the perfect place for my dream wedding.

Old Field Club was the first venue we looked at and could not find anything to top it, it was exactly what we were looking for ! The venue itself is stunning, it has that rustic elegance that we love and with the decor we chose it was breathtaking ! Stephanie and Rob were so nice to work with and did everything to make our day perfect, just like we envisioned ! I definitely recommend Old Field Club to anyone looking to have an intimate, fun and overall amazing reception !

I can’t express enough how much I loved The Old Field Club! I got married here October 5th 2018, The OFC was one the only venue me and my husband looked at and we knew immediately that we wanted to get married there because it had the exact look we were going for. It isn’t your typical Long Island catering hall and had more of a rustic feel, and I’ve always heard wondering things about the food! A few weeks leading up to my wedding, I worked with Stephanie, who was so sweet, and beyond helpful. She answered every email quickly, she never said no to anything I asked, she did everything she could to make what I wanted happen. The day of the wedding, I worked with both Rob and Stephanie, and they both helped to make my night there absolutely perfect. Everything went so smooth and they were on top of their game. Rob even came up to me and my husband during dinner and asked how we were doing. My husband responded that everything was going too perfect ! The venue was gorgeous and every guest there couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was. The food was amazing and people are still raving about it, especially cocktail hour and prime rib! Everything there was wonderful and I have no complaints. I would get married at the Old Field Club more than once if I could and I would recommend it to anyone! Thank you OFC!

I don't know if I can properly express how much I loved The Old Field Club! I got married here in early September 2018, and everything was truly a dream. The OFC was one of the first venues I looked at and I knew immediately that I wanted to get married there because it had the exact look I was going for - it wasn't a typical Long Island catering hall and had more of a rustic feel. The fact that it was on the water made it even more perfect. Deb wasn't pushy or overly enthusiastic, and while I've heard people complain about her attitude, I found her honesty refreshing. In the weeks leading up to my wedding, I worked with Stephanie, who was polite, sweet, and beyond helpful. She answered every email quickly, she never said no to anything I asked, she did everything she could to make what I wanted happen. The day of the wedding, I worked with both Rob and Stephanie, and they both helped to make my night there absolutely perfect. I had about 150 guests and I was very stressed that the room was going to feel packed and too crowded. It didn't at all - we also paid extra to get 5 long tables down the center, and I really think that helped. The venue was gorgeous and every guest there couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was. The food was amazing and people were raving about it, especially cocktail hour. I had been worried about the size and position of the dance floor, but it was absolutely perfect. Honestly, everything there was wonderful and I have no complaints. I would get married at the Old Field Club more than once if I could and I would recommend it to anyone!

I loved my wedding at Old Field Club. The venue is beautiful but the staff made the day amazing. They took care of everything. When the weather did not cooperate for an outdoor ceremony, the staff quickly set up the dining room for a ceremony. It looked lovely!Rob, the Maitre D', was wonderful. He made sure everything ran smoothly. He also made sure me and my husband ate. The food was delicious. We received multiple complements on the food, everyone loved it.I cannot say enough about the venue and staff. I highly recommend Old Field Club, you will not regret it!

We couldn't be happier with our choice to host our wedding reception at The Old Field Club. From start to finish, the staff was extremely helpful, kind and open to whatever requests or needs we had - in particular, Stephanie in catering and Rob the maitre d'. We fell in love with the venue the second we walked in the door. With the high ceilings, rustic feel and beautiful outdoor area it's definitely a nice change from the typical Long Island catering venue. One of the first things we loved was the beer - we are beer people - since they have a lot of great craft and Long Island beer on tap. They even helped us get one of our favorite brewery's beers on tap when we asked, which to me was above and beyond.Another big selling point for us was being able to take photos down the street at the beach, with the colorful cabanas and beautiful scenery. The food, though we didn't get to taste it in advance, was absolutely incredible. We had nothing to worry about. We got so many compliments from our guests about the food and I personally was dreaming of the grits and pasta the next morning. :)While the OFC is a bit more expensive per person than some other venues, we had a smaller wedding (120 people, including us) and the size was perfect. At the time we booked, the minimum for a Saturday night was 120, and we were really grateful that we didn't have to pay extra for more food for less people - a lot of places we looked had a 200 person minimum for Saturday nights. We did the buffet-style dinner, initially because it was less money per person, but in the end, it was a great choice. It allowed our guests who were up and dancing to continue enjoying the party, and people who were sitting to get food ASAP. Guests were also able to try multiple entrees, and enjoy the pasta stations and carving station at dinner time. It's different than what most people expect, but we got compliments from a lot of guests about how they liked that structure. I was also worried it would be awkward and tacky (\"table 11, you can now get your dinner!\") but Rob and the staff handled it quite formally and well.I truly can't say enough good things about our entire experience with the OFC. I highly recommend it. The morning after our wedding - after the thoughts about cheesy grits - my husband and I were just talking about how much we wish we could do that party again at the venue.

We visited 5-6 venues before visiting Old Field Club & the second we visited, we fell in love and knew this venue was the one. From the moment we stepped on the property, not a rock in the driveway was out of place. OFC is a private beach/tennis club so the place is secluded, quiet and well-kept. We were the only people walking around the property during all of our visits & on our wedding day. We loved the privacy and intimacy that this venue offered. The ballroom is a jaw dropper - the high ceilings, statement fireplace, wood floors & gorgeous chandeliers/string lights really make the room a show stopper. They have a set ceremony space outdoors & while there was rain in our forecast for our wedding day, the staff at OFC never wavered in doing their best to make sure we had the ceremony outdoors as we wanted (spoiler alert: the rain held off & we got to say 'I Do' under the pergola outside!). There is also a gorgeous outdoor deck overlooking the water where we had our cocktail hour. The food during cocktail hour and the reception was delicious. They offer a range of options & were very accommodating when it came to dietary restrictions and children's menu options. We are dessert lovers & OFC offered some great add ons for dessert - we opted for ice cream sundaes & s'mores which were a hit with our guests. The price per person is slightly higher than some other Long Island venues but for us, it was worth splurging for our 115 guests. Deb, the sales manager, created a great package for us & answered all questions that we had during the planning process. Rob, the maitre D, was beyond outstanding. He is truly a professional when it comes to running events & making sure everything runs smoothly; there was nothing that we asked leading up to the wedding that he wasn't able to make happen. Again on our wedding day, there was not a rock out of place & Rob was so calm, prepared and happy for us, it immediately put my nerves at bay and allowed me to relax and get excited for our ceremony and the party that followed! So many of our guests have expressed to us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to & although I might be biased, I could not agree more! It was truly the perfect day - there is no other way to describe it. If you are looking for an out of the box ballroom with a 'wow' factor, this is the place to host your wedding. We cannot recommend The Old Field Club enough!

There is no other venue like the Old Field Club. Everything about this venue exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing, the staff were incredible, the venue is beautiful. If you want an elegant wedding with a rustic touch then this venue is for you. I cannot say enough great things about this unique venue. They made the wedding of my dreams and anyone who has a wedding here I am sure feels the same way.

My husband and I just celebrated our wedding on June 29th. Upon the start of our search last spring, we visited about twelve different venues and narrowed our options down to three very different venues. We knew that we wanted something rustic where we could have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in one place. In the end, this venue beat out the other two because of the value of what we received for the price we paid. It is the most beautiful venue that I have ever seen, and the ceremony space is set right on a small body of water under a white arch. The cocktail hour was indoor and outdoor and the outdoor deck overlooks the same body of water as the ceremony space. Although the outside is breathtaking, the inside is what really sold me on this venue. The main ballroom has a beautiful high vaulted ceiling with string lighting and a beautiful white fireplace making it the perfect rustic venue. We had 150 guests, but the size of the ceremony space made it feel very intimate, and the enormity of the ballroom made it feel very spacious. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the dance floor was in a separate part of the room, so people who wanted to sit could still talk, and the people who wanted to dance could dance. All of my guests could not say enough great things about the food. We had a buffet, and I would not have had it any other way. Dietary restrictions and children were also accommodated. In addition, the staff was awesome and very helpful. They allowed me to drop my decorations off a few days before, and they set everything up perfectly! Rob made sure that everything ran smoothly, and he kept everything organized, and the bartenders kept the drinks coming! I highly recommend this venue, and I still have people talking about how beautiful and perfect our wedding was, and they all want to know where I found this venue! This place is a gem!

The Old Field Club is hands down, flat out a wonderful venue! We had first found them on the Knot, went to look at it & fell in LOVE! The main room is breathtaking and the grounds are beautiful. This review is LONG overdue!! We had our wedding here on 10/14/17 and three months later still cannot stop talking about what an amazing day it was. As soon as we stepped foot in the OFC we knew it was the venue for us. It is absolutely beautiful inside and out. It was a little pricier than other venues that we looked at but I am SO happy we splurged. Deb was so helpful throughout the planning process and Rob was incredible the day of. He really took care of everything and made sure the day ran smoothly. The dinner was delicious and we kept getting compliments about it all night, even by one of our friend's dates who runs a food instagram. The fact that the bar and dance floor were adjacent to each other MADE the night, because it ensured the dance floor was full the entire time. The memories of my wedding day bring me so much joy because of the OFC! I cannot recommend them enough.

I can’t begin to even describe how much I loved and still love my wedding venue. It is the most perfectly beautiful venue that no one really knows about, a real hidden gem. To start off the venue is stunningly gorgeous. You don’t need to add many decorations to it, since the place is gorgeous and classy as is. I had a perfect experience from the first meeting. I never felt pushed to add things to the wedding nor did I ever feel pressured by the people who worked at the venue. Everything was, for lack of better words, easy. The venue was even more beautiful than I expected during the fall for my wedding, the food was outstanding and the staff was unparalleled. It didn’t feel like a typical wedding, it felt relaxed and cozy. It was perfect. Now let’s talk about Rob. This man is truly an angel on earth. From our very first meeting, he made me feel relaxed. I trusted him and I am so thankful I had him. He made an extremely overwhelming day not so overwhelming. He knew what I needed before I knew what I even wanted. He was the voice of calm before I walked down the aisle and my problem solving ninja during the reception. Everything was “no big deal and being taken care of” and that is exactly what you want to hear on your wedding. I literally could cry thinking of the love and devotion this man has for his career and his brides/grooms. I will forever be grateful that I had the opportunity to meet him and have him at the wedding.

The Old Field Club was the only venue my husband and I went to see because once we stepped inside, we knew we didn't need to waste our time looking anywhere else. I cannot possibly say enough good things about this venue. People still rave about the food at our wedding, and how efficient the bartenders were. Rob was so incredibly helpful through the entire planning process, and especially during our reception. Between decorations for ceremony and wedding, to making sure my husband and I made it off the dance floor to enjoy any of the other things that we had paid for (smores, dinner), he really made sure they Jeff and I had the greatest night. Our wedding was the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend, and it was the most perfect way to kick off the summer. Our photos from the venue are beautiful, and there were so many different settings for our guests to enjoy during the reception (sitting on the back patio, roasting marshmallows at the smores bar, dance floor, cornhole on the back lawn). I am biased, but everyone should be able to truly enjoy their wedding the way Jeff and I did, and if that's what you want from your big day, you need not look at any venue other than The Old Field Club.

The Old Field Club is a stunningly beautiful venue. My husband and I knew as soon as we saw it that it was the place for us. We wanted a warm, romantic, rustic wedding, and it is perfect for that. And the wedding day really went off without a hitch. I didn't have to organize or manage anything on the day of the wedding, and the maitre d' was very solicitous. He even made plates of food for us to take home because we weren't able to eat much at the wedding. The food was delicious. All that said, though, I have to add that the Old Field Club wasn't exactly easy to work with leading up to the wedding. It was worth the trouble in the end, but be warned. Multiple times, I received the same request from two different people at the venue. Multiple times, I had to say the same thing twice before anyone remembered. Trying to schedule a tasting was a hassle; I had to call the venue several times, and finally I was told that I couldn't schedule more than two weeks ahead of time, which was problematic because I live out of state and needed to plan trips in advance. Moreover, when we booked our wedding, the venue told us they offered tastings every few months of their entire menu, but by the time I reached out to schedule our tasting, they had stopped doing this and were now offering tastings of just a few things at a time. There was no effort to warn us about the change in policy, and there was no apology. The spelling in emails from the venue is atrocious, which bothers me because it's just not professional. Finally, they were not willing to decorate as much as I wanted for the wedding and told me outright that they would not put up the canopy for the chuppah. As a result, my florist ended up doing most of the decorating, and in the end everything looked beautiful, but she really went out of her way to do the amount of set up that she did, and I'm not sure what I would have done without her. WOW!!! They delivered the wedding of my dreams. Rob helped to make my day run smoothly and was there every step of the way. It rained on my wedding day, and we ended up having to move my ceremony inside last minute. Truthfully, it turned out just as, if not more, beautiful then what I had been picturing for a year and a half. The ceremony and reception space were transformed in to the most gorgeous spaces I've ever seen. He put my nerves at rest (right down to doing breathing exercises with me before I walked down the aisle!) Our guests loved the food and the service. Everyone was easy to work with and very accommodating. We 100% recommend having your wedding at The Old Field Club.

I think that every couple deserves to think that their wedding is the most perfect wedding they've ever been to. Fortunately, after our wedding at Old Field Club we are now one of those couples who thinks their wedding was was the best. Our whole experience was amazing and exactly what we wanted. the outdoor ceremony was beautiful with the view of the water in the background. it was at 6:30 PM so it wasn't too hot for our guests. the cocktail hour was great with a mix of indoor and outdoor door seating. the food was delicious but not too much that you weren't hungry for dinner. The reception room is magical with the lighting and exposed beam ceiling. it is what sold us on OFC in the first place. We did the buffet dinner, and everything was awesome, especially the flank steal and short rib. I wish I ate even more. our Maitre D, Rob, was great the whole night. the whole event flowed exactly as we wanted it to, and Rob helped make sure that happened. I hope we get to attend another wedding at OFC as guests one day, because it really is a wonderful place.

The OFC was the first venue I checked out in the beginning of wedding planning. They were easy going and not pushy. They did not try to sell me or convince me. They were very forward with the cost and what was included. I never questioned what I would get or not get. I emailed back and forth throughout the to BM Sabine with all of my questions and she was thorough and answered them all. I felt that they were very accommodating even when my bride brain was going crazy. At one point new rules were rolled out and I was worried how it might affect our day but it made no difference. Also, during the past year the club underwent lots of updates and renovations. Each things tasteful and fitting with the decor of the club. The tasting was complimentary including beer and wine and awesome. It was then that i could really begin to visualize my wedding. I was surprised that they didn’t do a payment plan. Basically, you pay your initial deposit and then pay the entire balance a few short weeks before the wedding. They didn’t even ask me for the money… so the day of my menu choices I brought most of it because I was very nervous about all of that. Everything I requested was accepted, approved and executed perfectly. You can’t beat that! On our drop off day (Wednesday) I spent quite a while with my Maitre’ D Rob. We went over each little decor detail and he agreed to set everything up. He reassured me again and again that it would be perfect. Because there was not an event on the Thursday , they allowed me to set up my decorations exactly how I wanted them! ::Happy Bride!:: He helped unload my car and just was incredible that day. The wedding day was even better. My groom and I were feeling hot and overwhelmed after our first look photoshoot. We arrived independently from everyone else. Rob immediately took over, brought us drinks, platters of food and just wonderful service. He kept us on time. He single handedly managed the entire affair. He was always near. He served as Maitre’ D but also bridal attendant. OFC is a beautiful venue. Perfect for the laid back couple. It was exactly what I wanted and turned out more beautiful than I expected. My guests raved about the food and the Included cake from Audrey’s Fine Baked Goods. There was little to no wait at the bar and the drinks were flowing all night. OFC also had our favorite beer GSB Blonde Ambition on Tap as requested. They went the extra mile and it showed.

OMG...Old field club was the 2nd place I looked at for my wedding and I immediately knew that it was the ONE!!! I love the quaint look on the outside and how gorgeous the reception area is with high ceilings and chandeliers for that romantic rustic feel! The grounds are beautifully kept as well! My guests absolutely loved the food! The Maitre'D, Rob, was fantastic and was very attentive to us all night, especially me, making sure I was always okay! He was awesome making sure all of my DIY favors and decorations were perfectly placed! Highly recommend Old Field Club and super thankful for all their help making my wedding the best night of my life!

I just attended a lovely Friday afternoon May wedding at the Old Field Club and couldn't have been more delighted. The venue has fantastic views - serene country side and a quiet water side. The rustic, but very clean feel was airy and romantic. The food was delicious - all of it - cocktail hour and the buffet. I mean everything - the vegetables, chicken, fish, beef, pasta, crab cakes, fried lobster risotto - fantastic. Best of all, the staff, led by Catering Manager Rob Kaiserman - who was ever present and on the case - was always courteous, friendly and incredibly attentive. I've never had a meal, much less one with so many people where my water glass wasn't left empty for even a minute. I would highly recommend this to any couple looking for a romantic venue with amazing food and service.

Our wedding at Old Field Club was unforgettable! We enjoyed every second of our wedding day, from the beautiful scenery to the incredible food and staff. Everyone helped to bring our vision to life and made us feel so special. Extra special thanks to Ben, Jessica, Dom and Tony for not only taking good care of us, but for making it such a great night for our guests as well! They all went above and beyond to make our night special. I can't imagine having a better experience on our day. Months later, we still get compliments about our wedding and the venue.

We were married at The Old Field Club a few weeks ago and the entire event ran flawlessly. Our wedding was without a doubt, the BEST I have ever attended. And after reading/listening to some of MANY messages we received in the days that followed, it was clear that our sentiment was shared by our guests. \r\rThe ambiance, food, and overall setting was superb. The event was scheduled and executed to perfection. This was LARGELY due to the tireless efforts of our Maître D' Ben Woznicki. Ben was incredible and I cannot say enough to compliment his efforts. Whatever we needed, Ben took care of before we could even ask. If you are on the fence as to which venue you should choose, simply meet with him and you will quickly understand the high level of service I am referring to. \r\rI should also point out that the entire Old Field Club staff was as accommodating as one could ever ask. A special thanks to Sabine Hoskins as well. Like Ben, Sabine was there throughout this entire process. \r\rOverall, The Old Field Club was the perfect venue for us and we are so pleased with our decision.

My husband and I were married at the Old Field Club on 10/30/15. The second I stepped foot in the venue, I knew it was the place for us! It is not a typical long island wedding venue. It is charming and and has a laid back feel. I love that they have seasonal beers on tap! They also have a private beach which is great for pictures. It's truly a beautiful venue. \r\rFrom start to finish, I felt the staff overall was accommodating. However, I must give a very special shout out to Ben, the maître d' and the wait staff. Ben is just awesome. He was SO helpful both leading up to the wedding and on the day of. He was extremely organized and just always went above and beyond me and my family. He has a very tough job, but he does it with kindness, grace and the highest level of professionalism! He constantly checked in with everyone throughout the night to make sure we were okay and made everything run smoothly. The wedding day is a total blur, so it was nice to have someone who I could trust running the show. \r\rI cannot say enough about the wait staff at Old Field! They too have a tough job, and they were amazing. All my guests raved about the service. My bridal attendant, I cannot remember her name, was super nice and extremely attentive. The bar tenders were also great. \r\rMy only issue with Old Field took place after the wedding when my parents went out to pick up the decor. We had been assured multiple times that it was no problem to leave the decor at Old Field for a night or two and pick it up after the wedding. When my parents got there, the boxes were soaked so they had a hard time transporting everything. I had used bud vases and lanterns for the table centerpieces and the vases still had water and flowers in them and a few were missing. I'm also missing a lantern. Glass hurricanes I used on the fireplace were missing, but found in the supply closet. Maybe things broke, that's fine. It happens. But the person helping my parents was rude about it. I won't name names, but the Old Field employee who greeted my parents said \"well, this is what happens when you leave things here after the wedding\" - a statement contradictory to what we were told several times and offered no explanation for the missing decor. Lastly, I had a basket in the ladies room filled with supplies like Motrin, feminine care products, hair spray, etc and a lot of it was gone when my parents got there which kind of sucked. I'll be honest, I doubt my guests used an entire box of tampons or an entire jar of motrin. That stuff is expensive and I would have liked to bring the leftovers home with me. Overall, not a huge issue, just kind of gross. Word of advice - I recommend bringing things like that home with you right after the wedding. \r\r\r\r

The OFC was beautiful and just so magical. All my dreams and wishes came true that day/night. The rustic barn like feel and high ceilings were breathtaking and intimate. If you want to have a private intimate wedding reception the OFC is definitely your best bet. It is not like your normal commercial floor to ceiling rug like venue. It has gorgeous views of the water, hard wood floors, high ceilings, chandeliers, garden lights, a gorgeous fire place that you can have lit the whole night if you want. It's truly breathtaking and its LI's hidden gem. They definitely worked with us with everything from beginning all the way to the end. They were flexible and accommodating. Ben,Sabine & Deb were fantastic and very warming. Everything went accordingly and with out a hitch! Ben was amazing and took care of my each an every need the whole entire night. All the staff that were waiting on us all night were amazing as well. The food was delicious and our wedding cake was fabulous. My wedding day was perfect and the best day of my life. We chose the perfect venue for our intimate fall wedding. Thank you OFC!!

The Old Field Club was magical. Our wedding had the perfect mix of beautiful outdoor scenery and a picturesque setup inside, complete with garden lights and charming decor. Deb (catering manager) and Ben (maitre' d) were on top of everything and allowed our day to go smoothly, anticipating and taking care of little issues without them being unnecessarily called to our attention on the wedding day. I got so many comments about how fun the bartenders were, and the food was delicious. From top to bottom, venue to service, the Old Field Club delivered a beautiful, smooth, unforgettable wedding for us. We could not be happier with our choice, and the wedding pictures we have from the venue reflect that beauty every time we look back at them.

My husband and I got married on July 11th, 2015 at the Old Field Club. IT WAS AMAZING!! From start to end, OFC was attentive, caring, and helped us with everything to personalize our wedding day. We had our ceremony on their grounds and it was insanely gorgeous! The OFC also has a private beach with quaint, beautiful cabanas where we were allowed to take pictures. The pictures are stunning!! Ben, the maître-d was amazing, as well as Kara, who is in charge of staff. My husband and I felt so catered to. Ben and Kara were a constant presence – informing us of timing, next steps, and constantly asking of us if we needed anything. My vegan needs were met, and when my husband was losing steam, Kara was right there giving him espresso! What is even more special is that guests were complimenting how beautiful the OFC was, and how amazingly attentive and wonderful the entire staff was. I would recommend the OFC to anybody who wants a beautiful, unique wedding with an incredible water-backdrop, and stunning ballroom. It does not feel like a typical catering hall. My parents are still talking about our wedding every day, and are beaming with joy. We feel confident saying that our wedding could not have been more beautiful and special!!

Everything was amazing at the Old Field Club! Ben, the maitre 'd made sure of it! From the atmosphere to the drinks to the food, everything was top notch. I would recommend the venue to anyone looking for a classically rustic venue for an intimate wedding. It was beautiful!

We just had our daughter's wedding at Old Field Club and it was perfect. My daughter and her fiance were looking for a venue that showed off Long Island's beauty in a romantic, classy rustic setting. They got that and so much more. The setting is gorgeous (they were married on site), the venue sets up beautifully, and the food was really good. Many people commented on the food. Deb and Ben were wonderful to work with, and really accommodating to all of our ideas The even ran so smoothly, and our guests are still saying what a great wedding it was. \rThanks, OFC for helping my daughter create her dream wedding!

I always imagined my wedding day being an intimate, yet spacious, occasion with a great deal of elegance and class. The Old Field Club was exactly that! From our first visit, to the night of our wedding, we were blown away by the professionalism, attention, and kindness of the entire staff. Both our photographer (North Island) and our band (Arcadia,) had great things to say about the OFC and they both had all positive experiences dealing with them over the years. \rMy husband and I tried to think of one thing that was less than perfect, and we couldn't! Every single detail of our wedding at the OFC was pure perfection. Our guests are STILL raving about the food (definitely add the Filet Mignon…..TOTALLY worth it!) Deb was amazing through the planning process and Ben the Maitre d' was the most attentive, kind, creative person and is absolutely amazing. He has a way of keeping people very calm and stress-free! Sabine was so helpful at making sure the night went perfectly. Chris the chef was unbelievable! We got to meet him at the tasting and he gave us some great advice and really took the time out to make our menu perfect. All of the servers, bartenders, valet workers, etc. were AWESOME! And the best part of the entire experience is that it was the first time that the majority of our guests had ever been there! They were saying all night, \"how did you guys find this place? It's awesome!\" Talk about a GREAT first impression! The Old Field Club is a little hidden gem that is different than the other typical catering halls on Long Island. I highly recommend the Old Field Club and we are so happy to have our dream wedding become a reality! Thank you for being spectacular OFC! My husband and I want to do it all over again. OFC is Beautiful, Warm, Intimate. Set on a small inlet on the North Shore of LI. Deb, Ben, & Marilyn were the staff I dealt with primarily. Always Professional, Prompt, Helpful, either by phone or email.(you decide). I am the M.O.B. My daughter's crazy schedule required me to handle most of the organizing and details. The staff was always kind and more than willing to offer advice when asked or when they felt we were in need of it. (Greatly appreciated). They couldn't have been more accommodating. The food was excellent, Many of the guests said it was the best food they have ever had at an affair, others offered it was restaurant quality. The day was perfect. The Old Field Club is not for large parties of 200. As I stated, it is intimate and charming, probably best suited for 150 or less. I Highly recommend. \r

My best friend recommended Old Field Club and honestly I was a little hesitant because I thought our dream wedding would be at the vineyards but we just couldn't swing it. As soon as we went there, the entire staff was wonderful. Sabine our wedding coordinator was professional, helpful and really sweet. From start to finish the whole process was seamless and fun they way it should be. The whole reception was perfect and I felt like a total queen the entire day with my king. I would recommend Old Field to anyone and everyone if they want a seamless, beautiful experience!

OFC is hands down the best wedding venue on Long Island. It is not your typical \"wedding factory.\" The venue itself is gorgeous overlooking the water with picturesque views, hard wood floors, and a gorgeous fire place. If you are looking for a rustic cozy place to get married, you've found it. The food was wonderful. There were so many options to chose from. The service was impeccable. Ben the maitre'd was fabulous in every single way. He was so attentive and made sure everything was going smoothly. The entire OFC staff was so friendly and efficient. Our wedding day went off with out a hitch. I would recommend the Old Field Club to any couple!!!

I got married a few weeks ago at The Old Field Club, and it was everything I could have wanted from a wedding venue and more! My guests (most of whom are from Chicago) were all blown away at how beautiful the venue was. The cocktail hour out on the back deck looking over the water was perfect! I almost wish our cocktail hour could have lasted for two or three hours; that's how awesome it was. The ballroom is stunning, and everything went according to plan. Ben, the maitre de, was perfect. He was so helpful and had everything running smoothly all night long. I cannot recommend the Old Field Club enough! The only negative I can see (which luckily wasn't a negative for me!) is that the main ballroom can get a little cramped. They say the max is 175 people. We wound up having 140, and it was probably the most I would have wanted there. If you're planning on around this number of people, you will 100% not regret having your wedding at the Old Field Club. It literally was the best night of my life.
