The Olde Wicks Factory is a former Pipe Organ Company established in 1905, with 80,000 sq ft nestled on 8 picturesque acres right in the center of town. Not only do we have three unique venue spaces for your ceremony and reception, we also offer bridal suites designed for hair, makeup, and photos. The guys will appreciate their private suite as well, which includes a leather couch set, flat screen TV, pub table, poker table and a mini frig. Our 3,000 sq ft Gatsby Room is the perfect iconic setting for cocktail hour and Rehearsal Dinners.

The Olde Wicks Factory has everything and more that you could ever need for your wedding day. I was married there on November 3rd, 2023. We chose to have a progressional wedding and keep everything there, let me tell you, perfection is an understatement. Jennifer and Shannon are top notch. They have thought of just about every scenario and have their venue set up in a way that flows continuously. From every hall they have to offer, to their bridal and groom suites, to the outside area, they have poured their hearts and souls into this venue.Even with how busy they are constantly, they make it a priority to answer any and all questions you might have. Trust me I had a lot, they got back to me as soon as they could and if they didn't have the answer right away they figured it out for me.Since my wedding was in November I was unsure if we would be able to have the ceremony outside, it was the day before the wedding when the decision was made. Jennifer and Shannon didn't blink an eye. They were outside that next morning setting up chairs and making everything just as beautiful as I imagined. They are so open to new ideas and just want their guests to be happy. If you are looking for a place that has it all, this is it! At the very least go see this incredible place in person. The beauty of it and the hospitality they offer here is beyond anywhere else! Thank you both again for the perfect day!!

We truly loved every moment of our wedding day. One of the biggest reasons for such a memorable day was the Olde Wicks Factory. They are locally owned and invest so much energy to ensure you have a seamless day. Their attention to detail and experience with weddings made our lives easy. Everything is on site! We had our rehearsal dinner right outside the West Hall for a beautiful evening with the wedding parties and close family. Bride and groom suites are on location to get ready in the morning. Having all components in one location made the day so easy for us and our guests. Seriously, we had so many compliments from our guests that both our ceremony and reception were in the same building. We did the progressive setup which allowed our guests to enjoy the ceremony, move to a cocktail hour in the stunning Gatsby Room and finally our reception and dinner in the West Hall. The Olde Wicks Factory also has a huge selection on wedding decor to help make your setup (and budget) easier. Reflecting on our experience, there is no way we would choose any other venue. This historic venue provides a beautiful canvas to fulfill your wedding dreams and will leave your family, friends and guests in awe.

The Olde Wicks Factory was the perfect place for our wedding. My husband is not from the area and needed a place to get ready, and the getting ready suites were perfect for the groomsman! The venue is simply gorgeous and all of our wedding pictures were taken on the property. We used the Gatsby Room for cocktail hour and Grand Hall for our reception. Jennifer and Shannon were always there to answer our questions during the planning process. 10/10 recommend!

We would not have wanted to have our wedding anywhere else. Everyone raved about how gorgeous our venue was! We did an outside ceremony on the patio, cocktail hour in the gatsby room, and reception in the west hall. With a 250 person guest count, it was such a spacious venue to host this group! On top of that, we also used the outside grounds and the inside of the grand hall to take some of our gorgeous pictures, and loved the bridal suite and groomsmen suite to be able to get ready in. Jennifer and Shannon made sure everything was perfect for our day, always answered our texts and questions, and were just wonderful to work with. They also gave us vendor recommendations and we ended up going with every single one they suggested, and loved all of them! I am so thankful I chose olde wicks!

A Dream Come True: The Wonderful Wedding Venue at The Olde Wickâs Factory in Highland, Illinois the perspective from the Groomâs mother.As many of you know, the Groomâs mother has it easy when it comes to their son getting married. The choices and all details of the wedding are planned by the bride and groom. Our sonâs wedding day was nothing short of magical, and it would not have been possible without an amazing daughter-in-law and her choice on the enchanting wedding venue her and my son chose. From the moment they stepped foot into The Olde Wickâs Factory, they knew they had found the perfect place to celebrate their love story.The Olde Wickâs Factory located in Highland; Illinois is the picturesque old building that has been transformed into such character with stunning backdrops for their special day. The serene and scenic surroundings added an element of natural beauty for outside shots along with the character of the inside of the building made their wedding truly remarkable. The ambiance was nothing short of breathtaking as the bride, now my daughter-in-law walked down the spiral staircase to join her father to walk her down the aisle in the âGrand Hall.â The elegant architecture and tasteful decor created a romantic and intimate atmosphere that left our guests in awe. Whether it was the âGrand Hallâ where the ceremony was performed, the âGatsbyâ room for cocktail hour and then on to the âWest Hallâ for their reception and dance, every space was meticulously designed to perfection. Most guests were from out of town absolutely loved being able to stay in one location for the entire event, yet each room has its own character.The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of the wedding was flawless. From their initial inquiry to the day of the wedding, the owner, Jennifer Ostrander made suggestions that were extremely helpful. The event coordinator, Cassie Davis from Occasions from Black Box was responsive, professional, and attentive to their every need. (I would highly recommend having an event coordinator). Jennifer Ostrander and staff made the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable.The Olde Wickâs Factory offered a range of amenities which included bridal suites for getting ready that made their wedding day even more special. The bridal suites were luxurious and a comfortable space for getting ready. They had crystal chandeliers, plenty of windows that viewed a beautiful courtyard filled with trees and flowers. It was a comfortable space with a lot of room for the bridal party to get ready. Makeup was done onsite from âFace It Beauty Boutique,â also located in Highland. I would also highly recommend for such a relaxing atmosphere; they made us all beautiful in a timely manner to everyoneâs satisfaction. The culinary experience at The Olde Wickâs Factory was a true delight. It was catered by Cygan & Delaney from Highland, Illinois. The catering team collaborated closely with the bride and groom to create a customized menu that catered to our tastes and preferences. The quality of the food was exceptional, and our guests raved about the delicious dishes served during the reception.The bride and groom choice to get married on an unconventional Friday afternoon. This was a suggestion also from owner, Jennifer Ostrander. This really turned out to be one of the finest blessings, since our family was from out of town, a Friday night venue afforded everyone to gather the next day to reminisce about the night before compared to hitting the road to travel back. If you have not thought about a Friday late afternoon wedding, this is also something that I would recommend. Considering the impeccable service, stunning setting, and overall experience, I as the groomâs mother, felt that The Olde Wickâs Factory offered exceptional value for money. Jennifer and Shannon made my day so magical! They and their staff went above and beyond to truly create a wedding for me and my husband that I thought was only seen on Pinterest. I donât even know where to begin! We were blown away with this venue, from everything being in one spot to the venue speaking for itself. We trusted Jenniferâs vision as there were many projects in the works when we viewed/signed late 2020 early 2021. Every vision the Ostranderâs had came to life and itâs amazing to think every one of their couples helped towards that goal. My guests still talk about how amazing this place is! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning the customer service from this family to all of the preferred vendors was exceptional. Cannot recommend enough!

From getting ready in the bridal suites, to our progressive wedding everything was beautiful and flowed perfectly. We had a last min change and moved the ceremony indoors the week of the wedding, and it turned out even better than expected. We had our ceremony in the Grand Hall, cocktail hour in the Gatsby room, and reception in the West Hall. We absolutely loved how everything turned out!Jennifer, the event coordinator, was so helpful in keeping our timeline on schedule. The staff were organized and friendly and helped everything go smoothly.

We had a hard time choosing which hall to even pick for our reception, but ultimately decided on the Grand Hall which was perfect for our overall decor decisions. We received so many complements from our guests on what a beautiful venue it was. We have recommended to our friends, and further recommend to anyone considering The Olde Wicks Factory for their weddings or event spaces :)

Choosing this venue for our wedding ceremony and reception was by far the best decision we could have ever made! To start off, the venue is just absolutely breathtaking. We had our ceremony in the Grand Hall which is decorated so elegantly with large chandeliers and fireplace. The cocktail hour was in the Gatsby Room which provided a laid-back, casual environment for all of our guests. We had or reception in the West Hall which offered a very industrial, moody, and relaxing vibe. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received on our wedding day regarding how gorgeous this venue is. Jennifer, the owner, and her family really were amazing throughout the entire process of viewing the venue, booking the venue, answering our questions, helping us with last-minute set-up the day of and more! Jennifer was also there to help us with the wedding rehearsal the night before which was a lifesaver since we had our good friend marry us so the process of how the ceremony should take place was unfamiliar territory. This venue also has amazing get-ready rooms for both the groom and bride. The bridal suite has multiple vanities which was so helpful for our makeup and hair team to work on all of my bridesmaids/flower girl/mothers. It was such a relaxing environment to get ready in! The groomâs suite was also very comforting and inviting. My now husband and his groomsmen were able to relax and play at the poker table while they all got ready.Overall, having this venue as our wedding venue definitely set the tone for our wedding and it was absolutely unforgettable! Our wedding went off without any issues and I believe that was largely due to the help of Jennifer and her amazing staff. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone looking to have the most spectacular wedding!!!

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding and reception! This was the perfect halfway point for family and friends on both sides of the river. The Olde Wicks Factory venue was amazing! The spacious comfortable fully equipped bridal suite & groom suite was a great beginning. The outside seating under tall oak trees for shade & concrete stone patio with an owf provided arbor was perfect for the ceremony & pictures. Don't worry about rain because the owf has an inside room with stained glass windows as Plan B. The west hall with its original rugged wood floor, gorgeous chandelers & enormous windows circling it was absolutely beautiful. Cocktails & Appetizers served in the Gatsby Room gave the guests a special place to go while pictures were being taken. For weeks I received feedback from guests saying \"what fun they had & how beautiful the venue was\". Owf's owner/coorindator Jennifer O. is extremely passionate about making the wedding everything you want it to be. She was informative, patient, fair in every way. I felt guilty that as the mother of the bride, I didn't have any worry because Jennifer took care of any problems. She put the flowers on the arbor because in the morning it was raining & the florist couldn't decorate the arbor. She made sure the seats outside were wiped down for guests. She removed the arbor flowers and brought them to the hall. When I needed help getting from the ceremony to reception she found a wheelchair. She was always there. Don't think twice, go see for yourself.

It's an absolutely gorgeous venue, and Jennifer was willing to make things as perfect as possible and was flexible in spite of the many uncertainties we dealt with. We received numerous compliments from guests. We loved it!

The owners are always dreaming of more ways to expand while exposing the historical value of the venue.

This venue has everything to offer. We arrive at 9am to start getting ready and didnât leave until 11pm when our wedding was done. The bridal party loved the huge bridal suite and the groomsmen loved playing poker in their suite. There are so many different scenery places for pictures. We walked around the campus and look all of our wedding party pictures. Then danced the night away in the west hall. It was a perfect day!

I was lucky enough to get to walk through the unfinished ballroom and I knew Jennifer (the owner) was apprehensive about both the timeline of our big day, the building getting finished, and me seeing the vision of all it could be until then. The Olde Wicks Factory was awesome! Jennifer was very helpful throughout the entire process. Our ceremony was on the North Patio followed by our reception in the West Hall. It was nice to be able to have our entire event at one location! The bridal suites are a major plus!! There was no running around that day. Once we arrived to the venue, we did not have to leave. We were able to get ready from start to finish there and had hair and makeup come to us! Our day turned out to be everything we had imagined! Thank you Wicks for making our day AMAZING!

In hindsight, after touring the newly renovated West Hall and the bridal suites, I would've loved to have the entire wedding at The Olde Wicks Factory! I highly recommend this venue for your perfect dream wedding!

If you were to ask me how I would describe my wedding here at the Olde Wicks Factory, it would be nothing short of amazing and beautiful beyond belief.

We went to The Olde Wicks Factory a little over a week before our wedding with a small problem. Our small ceremony/reception had outgrown our original idea of having it at our home. Jennifer at Olde Wicks Factory offered a space in the West Hall. So with that, we called on Sue @ Itâs Party Time who came and set up the Pipe and Drape. By doing this it not only separated the concrete side from the older part of the West Hall but also gave the room a warm & cozy felling. We also called Carol @ Poppyâs to help decorate the room into a winter wonderland. The room was set up with table and chairs for 84. We had more than enough room between tables and had plenty of room for a dance floor. The room was breathtaking!!! So if you are looking for a beautiful venue for your next special occasion with amazing owners that go above and beyond to make it perfect than I highly recommend the Olde Wicks Factory. Jennifer Ostrander (Owner) Jennifer is the Founder/Owner of The Olde Wicks Factory located in Highland, IL. She and her husband, Frank purchased the former Pipe Organ Building in August 2017. The facility contains a total of 80,000 square feet and is located on 8 acres in the center of town.Jennifer is originally from Boulder City, NV where she joined the Air Force in May 1987 and retired in May 2009. She enjoys event planning and has always paid particular attention to details. The highlight of her career has been working w/couples on the biggest and happiest day of their lives!
