Situated amidst beautiful countryside, The Outlook at Saddle Ridge is an all-season wedding venue located in Chesterfield, VA. This family-owned and operated farm invites couples to mark their love story on the grounds and in the refurbished barn or glamorous ballroom complete with modern amenities. Here, surrounded by picturesque scenery, rolling pastures, and adorable farm animals, you can plan the rural wedding you always dreamed of. Owners Richard and Monique Smith are passionate about celebrating life’s most meaningful moments. They transformed their countryside farm into a welcoming event venue with contemporary comforts and equipment to facilitate couples in achieving their dream wedding. The Outlook at Saddle Ridge has various ceremony sites outdoors, so you can customize your nuptials to suit your vision. Often, couples choose to say “I do” in front of the elegantly appointed barn, providing a rustic and refined backdrop for you and your guests. Afterward, while guests mingle and raise a toast during cocktail hour, you and your love may explore the farmlands for memorable photo ops. Inside the Stable Reception Hall, you will find a contemporary, airy, and flexible space for 140 guests that can be curated to suit your style, theme, and guest-list size. This blank canvas features wooden accents, ambient lighting, polished flooring, and white paintwork. Large retractable sides and window panels allow natural light to pour in and can be adjusted to create a semi-outdoor atmosphere. The Outlook Ballroom is a glam draped space with tiered crystalline chandeliers that can accommodate up to 500 guests for a grand soiree. Throughout the day, your wedding party can use plush and refined preparation rooms to pamper and refresh before and after your ceremony. The thoughtful staff at The Outlook at Saddle Ridge wants to make your wedding day and planning journey seamless and smooth. Experienced staff oversees setup and breakdown on the day. In-house coordination services are available for an additional fee. Valerie and Zoe and the whole team were a dream to work with! They were super communicative and helpful, and they went above and beyond to make sure that our client’s wedding ran smoothly. The venue itself is stunning - with views that will take your breath away. From a violinist’s perspective I highly recommend them and can’t wait to perform at The Outlook at Saddle Ridge again!

A wonderful venue and team – The Outlook at Saddle Ridge was exactly the venue we had been looking for! It is a beautiful property inside and outside and has the flexibility to have your event indoors or outdoors. Alison and Zoe helped coordinate with us through the entire planning process and made us feel confident that our day would go off without a hitch. They were flexible and supportive the day of and we were so thankful to work with them! We would HIGHLY recommend this venue to others for their big day!
