From coordinating with our vendors the day of, ensuring we were running to schedule, etc. The Oyster Point served as a perfect venue for our ceremony and reception - the staff was incredibly kind, the food was amazing and offers a great view. We had our dream wedding ceremony and reception at the Oyster Point Hotel in May 2023. The venue exceeded all of our expectations from start to finish, which created an unforgettable experience. The hotel is incredible from the breathtaking views, which makes for the perfect photo backdrop to the convenience of staying on the same property as the event. All of our guests have raved about the food quality and the wait staff who were attentive throughout the event. We worked with Lauren Murtagh, the catering sales manager, she went above and beyond for us ensuring that our every need was taken care of. She was able to assist us throughout the wedding planning process to find the best vendors, coordinate the day of events, and even organized our wedding rehearsal and dinner. Lauren is knowledgeable and resourceful, we emailed her once requesting information for violinist recommendations, within the hour she had provided us with several options that allowed us to find the perfect fit for our day. Lauren is incredible and is the reason our wedding planning was stressful and fun and we would work with her again in a heartbeat! We wholeheartedly recommend the Oyster Point Hotel for your wedding! Tyler Case(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-06-2022 Our ceremony and reception at Oyster Point was spectacular, and a large part of that is because of the staff and our maître d', Jaime. Jaime was so organized, and it made us feel very at ease. He was always there to make sure there wasn’t anything additional we needed, and to make sure everyone was in the right place. We lived out of state, which made it a little difficult for us to get the decor and such delivered, and delayed our initial walk thru, but that was not a problem at all! Jaime made suggestions as to what worked best for the layout etc, and we welcomed them with open arms! The setup in the suite was wonderful, and everyone on the staff was so friendly and welcoming. My parents flight got cancelled, resulting in them arriving a day late, and the staff even comped that one night they missed. Absolutely amazing. We loved the food (for real, the food was absolutely spectacular…I still dream about those bacon wrapped scallops and lobster bisque) and the chef even took extra time to use a cookie cutter to add a special bread shape which fit our theme to our appetizer. Incredible! Our coordinator left the venue for another position before our meal choices were made, but Oyster Point handled it with ease. Special shout-out to Judy for always responding to our flurries of emails while we made sure everything was squared away. And another shout out to Jaime, who again, was absolutely fantastic! The maitre’d d’ was Terrible, we couldn’t find him most of the wedding, the Officiant had to take over, getting everyone lined up and getting everyone down the aisle. They had extensive notes and lists about the wedding and NOTHING was followed through. I would not Recommend this venue for any type of catering event. Stephanie Lopes(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-10-2018 We had our wedding this past October at the Oyster Point. We first visited the hotel for Valentine’s Day back in 2014 and loved the atmosphere, the food and the service/staff. (And of course that view!) When it came time to look for wedding venues it was one of our first options. After looking at a few others we were absolutely sure that Oyster Point would be were we had our wedding reception. From the moment we walked in, Allison was very friendly and very warm and welcoming. She made us feel at ease and informed every step of the way. She had answers for every question we had and if she didn’t at that moment, she got us an answer in a few days time. We felt like having our wedding there was an honor to the hotel/staff rather than just another party. This wasn’t the case with some of the other venues we visited. The hotel was going through a beautiful renovation and we were lucky enough to have it finished before our wedding date. The planning and coordinating was smooth and all the members of staff we dealt with throughout the process were kind and professional. When it came time to lock down main details, Christian (our maitre’d) and Allison were responsive to our requests and questions and made us feel like everything was in good hands. On the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. Christian was like our own personal assistant/manager. He made sure our wedding party was where they should be and that our vendors knew where to go. He was always near by us if we needed anything and always made sure we ate and drank. He even cut one of my appetizer plates to make sure I was able to grab bites between greeting guests! I could go on and on about how amazing of an experience we had but I’m sure I would run out of room. Our guests complimented everything from the food to the decor and the service. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for amazing service, friendly staff and different look and feel to their special day. Thank you Oyster Point! Reviewed on 17-03-2019

The main reason we picked this venue was their abilities to adjust and accommodate my food allergies to customize every aspect of the day from cocktail hour, the entrees, and then the after party food selections. They consistently followed up with responses to my questions regarding the allergies and were prompt to finding the information from the chef and vendors. During the reception, our guests had nothing but good things to say about the staff service during the reception and cocktail hour. Our maitre d was Odilia and she was professional, friendly, extremely attentive and nothing short of wonderful. The day of ran smoothly and she put up with our rowdy group with ease and a smile on her face. The hotel and staff were ALL very pleasant, which is rare. The view is beautiful- right on the river, plenty of places for pictures. This is important because it was dismal and pouring as we got ready, but would have been OK because there are so many beautiful options within the property to take pictures. We lucked out as the skies cleared and we could use the docks and outside grounds along the river for beautiful pictures, too. Our ceremony was held in the main ballroom and it was cozy with the background overlook of the river. We chose to do the cocktail style reception (Provence) with roughly 150 people and there was plenty of room. Cocktail hour was way over the top. SO many options with this style. All of the food was awesome. The package also included top shelf open bar, which most guests also appreciated. The rooms have great flow for this type of event. The hotel rooms are better than average. The beds are the most comfortable I've slept in in a hotel (bridal suite was something over the top, like a cloud). Everything was very clean. Only complaints (we didn't feel were something to even be concerned with enough about to complain) was the sliding doors to the deck in the bridal suite were extremely difficult to open or close. Had to put your whole body into it. AC/heat units were noisy here and there. Bathrooms could use some updating. Our vendors were over the top (the OP provides a list of preferred but not required). Our choice of bakery- Ye Old Pie Shoppe. Fantastic. We did cupcakes and they were extremely moist and 100% delicious. Tom is laid back and easy going, very receptive to every detail and request. Our photographer was not on their list, Matt Soult. He has photographed the place a few times and knows the nooks and crannies. He is fun, personable and amazing. We chose our entertainment based on a prior wedding we had been to (aren't on the pref list)- D'amico Entertainment. Check them out. We chose their \"DJ Alive\" package and they delivered. Last but not least, someone who I am now honored to consider a dear friend and would have never met without the Oyster Point, our florist, Abigail Parsons. She is a wonderful, creative, honest person with a heart of gold. She reads people well and she just got me and my style from the get go. I told her from day 1 that I was leaving the floral details in her hands. I don't particularly care for fresh cut flowers but love greenery and plants. I am not a traditional pink and white peony type girl, but I've seen her work and Abigail can do it all. The arrangements she surprised us with were stunning with a theme of \"rustic chic\". Old wine crates with a variety of plants, burlap here and there, mason jars with just the perfect blend of greens and rustic flowers- the guests went absolutely crazy over it all.Best wedding ever! Guests are still raving about it- a month later! Some even went back for lunch and dinner shortly after because they loved it so much! Bottom line- you can't go wrong here. Reviewed on 11-11-2016

I got married there in November of 2013, and it was the perfect place for our ceremony and reception.\r\rThe venue itself has a beautiful contemporary nautical vibe, with lots of complimentary neutral colors that really worked with my whole vision. Very classic (and good for photos!). There are windows everywhere, each with a great view of the water. Go there in person for lunch and see for yourself!\r\rAllison Mercer took amazing care of us. She answered every. single. nagging. obnoxious. email. ever! I am a control person and planning a wedding can be a nightmare for someone like me. Allison made it sane. She was always a phone call or e-mail away, and always had the answer - or was willing to FIND the answer. And she did it all with a smile. I can't say enough good things about her. She made my day her personal mission - she could pick me out of crowd any day and always remembered the little details about the wedding in conversation. I can't say how much that means - seems like an obvious detail but when you consider how many people she must work with, it really is something. She always made us feel special and important, and it never felt like just business. I honestly felt comfortable talking to her, I knew she was looking out for our best interests and that her suggestions would always be genuine. That really means a lot when you're spending so much on the big day. You're not buying a car, you're planning your wedding. It was so nice to work with someone who was excited and happy for us, on a personal and professional level.\r\rTo say the OP was accommodating would definitely be an understatement. They made our whole vision come to life. Every detail was hammered out in an orderly fashion, no questions left unasked. They worked with our budget and worked with us on the menu, making sure we had what we wanted. While they did provide a list of recommended vendors, they let us have the freedom to choose who we wanted. They were flexible about the size and duration of our room block for out of town guests. They let us do our rehearsal there, and were flexible about the time and day for it. They suggested restaurants for the rehearsal dinner when we wanted to do something a little less costly than at the hotel (which I'm sure would've been amazing!) - there was no pressure ever. No problem. Whatever we needed. Honestly, even if I hadn't been a control freak over the whole thing, I just know it would've gone off without a hitch. They are real pros. If you end up working with them for your wedding - take my word of advice, and just relax a little. They really do have it all under control.\r\rChristian was an amazing maitre'd on the day of the wedding. He is so kind and charming, and just has this way of making you feel taken care of. He knew we needed a refill before we did. He brought us an extra plate of food so we could taste each of the different entrees. He had cake and champagne sent to our (GORGEOUS!) room so we could enjoy it later. He was behind the scenes making sure things went smoothly. I never had to worry about anything on my wedding day. Can you ask for more? If you could, I know Christian could get it for you. He was amazing. My parents loved him (and Allison!) too, which meant a lot to us.\r\rI'm probably leaving out so much. Our maitre'd Christian anticipated every need we didn't even know we had during the wedding and reception and was amazing. Even the vendors they vetted and recommended were all excellent. I doubt anyone else could make such a big day with a million moving parts more stress free and beautiful. Highly recommend! Reviewed on 17-12-2013
Resa (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-09-2013 From the first conversation I had with Bill Murray of Oyster Point, I instantly knew that this was where my dream wedding was going to be. Oyster Point was able to provide me with EVERYTHING I could've ever dreamed of for our picture perfect day. Bill is professional and kind, and knows how to make a bride feel special and as if you were the only bride ever to live. As a bride, that's so important to be made to feel that way! At every moment Cristian our maitre d' allowed us to feel incredibly special always had a smile on his face and kept the whole process incredibly organized. I had a ton of detail at my wedding, and they didn't miss ONE detail!!! Quality of Service - AMAZING - 5 STARS - Between Bill and Cristian there is NOTHING they cannot accommodate - they remain calm, cool and collected at all times and share the brides feelings. Responsiveness - AMAZING - 5 STARS - As a bride, if you have a question, your antsy to get a quick answer and there was NEVER a time that waiting for answers seemed to be an issue, I was always able to call, leave a message or email at any time and know that I would receive an answer in a timely, effective manner. Professionalism - AMAZING - 5 STARS - Bill, Cristian and the rest of the staff at Oyster Point were ALWAYS extremely professional!Value - AMAZING - 5 STARS - You get what you pay for and thensome! The food is PHENOMENAL - my guests ARE STILL TALKING about the food over a month later, everything was fresh and delicious and to hear, \"your food at your wedding was so wonderful! I felt like I was out to dinner at a fancy restaurant, and It was NOTHING like your \"typical wedding food\". That's a HUGE compliment!!! It was a one stop shop for me, I was able to pull up the night before my wedding stay over night and never leave until our after wedding breakfast. If i could do it again, I'd pick Oyster Point again! Thank you for such a beautiful picture perfect wedding!! Tommy and I love Oyster Point!!!! Reviewed on 14-11-2013
Krista (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-08-2013 During my venue search, we looked at over 30 venues across NJ. When we found the Oyster Point we knew this was THE place to host our wedding. We worked with Bill Murray to coordinate the details and he was such a pleasure to work with. We made a lot of changes to our wedding package and he was more than willing to work with us to make sure that we had everything we wanted. He was very responsive during the entire planning process and had great suggestions to offer. \r\rOur Maitre'd for the evening was Christian and I could not have more wonderful things to say about him. He greeted my husband and I at the front door and whisked us up to our suite before anyone could distract us. In our room we had cocktails and champagne setup and were able to take a few minutes to relax before joining our cocktail hour. Christian was attentive throughout the entire evening consistently checking on us and making sure that we always had a drink. After our reception we had cake and champagne in our room to enjoy while we relaxed. \r\rEverything about the Oyster Point was fantastic! Everyone was more than accommodating with everything that we needed. The food during the cocktail hour and the reception was exceptional and we continue to hear from our friends and family about it. We are so thrilled with our choice! Reviewed on 23-09-2013
Suzanne Blakaitis(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-07-2013 Throughout the wedding planning process, the Oyster Point team (reservations, reception desk, maitre'd, event planner, etc.) was very knowledgeable about the services the venue provides. As my wedding date got closer, I was in more constant contact with reservations (Linda) and my event coordinator (Bill) and they were both responsive, helpful and flexible with my needs; you could just tell that this was not their first rodeo - each knew the Oyster Point service commitment and answered all of my questions politely and honestly. \rOn the day of the wedding, the maitre'd, Christian really stole the show. He was never in the way, yet always close by to hand me a glass of water, a cocktail, or indicate that something was about to happen (i.e., cut the cake). He even handed my husband his jacket before approaching the cake so our pictures would come out nicely! Without being prompted or discussing this ahead of time, he and his team had all of our belongings neatly packed in the EXACT fashion in which we brought them to the hotel and left in our bridal suite to take home. They even washed our champagne flutes and put pens back in the cardboard sleeve that we purchased them in! \rWe fit 200 people in the ballroom and packed the dance floor. We had a 7-piece band which sounded excellent from an acoustics standpoint (no grandparents complained about noise or reverberation).\rFinally, the food was tasty and actually much better than it tasted during our menu tasting. The hors d'oeuvres were plentiful and fresh, especially the raw bar. I usually think wedding food all tastes mass produced but I was pleasantly surprised with the portion size and taste of the entrees (chicken, steak and tuna). \rOverall I felt that the price paid per person was an excellent value. Considering the service of the entire Oyster Point team, the convenience for our guests who mostly stayed in the hotel, the quality and cleanliness of guest rooms, and the quality and quantity of food at the cocktail hour and main course, I feel that the price per person was reasonable. \rSome other venues I visited in the Jersey Shore area were more expensive and others were cheaper but not as well-maintained and the coordinators were not as professional. I honestly feel that we could not have picked a better location for our wedding. Reviewed on 02-08-2013

From our first visit (and hundreds to questions that followed) Allison never failed to be wonderful and answer even the most ridiculous of questions! Cristian (the maitre d) was truly incredible the day of our wedding, and made sure all of the small details were perfect. He kept us completely on schedule and made sure the groom and I were properly taken care of and looked after. There was truly not one stone unturned and all of the little details that I had stressed over, were executed seamlessly. We had heard great things with the food at Oyster Point, and had an amazing tasting. The food on the wedding day was incredible and everyone was raving about it!! We looked at many places along the jersey shore, and hoboken area and could not imagine a more perfect wedding than we had at the Oyster Point!!! Christian (the maitre'd) was wonderful, as was the rest of the staff. Everything was perfect and they made sure our every need was taken care of. Shannon Hendrickson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-01-2012 I love New Jersey but especially around here, there isn't a big selection of really nice hotels. The Oyster Point, however, is just gorgeous - the view and the rooms are the best around. Their Red Bank location is a huge plus and one of the main reasons I had about 30 guest rooms for my winter wedding here. My husband and I stayed in their awesome suite on our wedding night and we partied with our guests in their Pearl Lounge until closing. We also had my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner at the Oyster Point, which were wonderful, looking over the Navesink River. The staff were great to work with and everything was fabulous. Jennifer Ziznewski(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-10-2011 My fiance and I checked out the Oyster Point after visiting a few other stops along the Jersey Shore (Red Bank isn't technically the shore, but everywhere else we went was). It really felt like we saved the best for last. We came here on a rec from another bride and I heard great things from guests who attended her wedding. We met with Bill and we worked with him from start to finish (I called him on the day-of to change some of the table arrangements). \r\rThe Oyster Point was the first place we came to that we felt like Bill really wanted to work with us. He was super accomodating and was flexible about working within the various wedding packages. We got a great discount for booking the wedding on a Sunday which allowed us to upgrade our package and add certain extras. Even before we upgraded packages, he was willing to negotiate on certain things and offered to thrown other things in. This is, of course, how it should be when you're planning to drop so much money on one day, but most of the other sales directors at other venues we met with were just very, \"this is our package - take it or leave it\". I called Bill a million times about a million different things and he was very patient and always helpful. I had no worries on the day-of and sure enough everything went smoothly.\r\rCristian was our maitre'd and he was also amazing to work with. My fiance, the bridal party and I all arrived mid-cocktail hour, but he made sure the staff helped us empty the limo, check-in to our rooms and start celebrating asap. He was also always there when I decided my feet hurt too much in my heels and I wanted to trade him for the flats he was hiding for me. \r\rMy guests loved the venue - loved the sunset over the water - and everyone raved about the food. My husband and I got a ton of personal service and he has said many times over that everytime he put down his champagne glass it was automatically refilled without having to ask. We had an amazing time at our wedding and we definitely have Bill and Cristian to thank for it! Reviewed on 24-01-2012
Shannon Ventre(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-12-2011 Our wedding was absolutely picturesque for New Year's Eve. The hotel was pristine, the food was delicious and our maitre d, Christian, was wonderful. We did have an issue at our after-party; however. From the very beginning, we had been asking to bring down a few pieces from our band to play during our \"after party\" down by the bar for the ball drop. Bill kept skirting around the issue, saying he had to ask the manager, even as close as five days leading up to the wedding. On the day-of, the band told us that Bill specifically asked them not to play downstairs. The reason being, there was another wedding happening until 1:00 a.m. downstairs. We wished Bill would have been straight up with us the entire time. We would have booked the venue regardless, but if you are a bride who only wants your wedding at one venue - make sure you ask point-blank. That was only one minor wrinkle in an otherwise perfect day! Reviewed on 02-01-2012

The food is delicious and our guests even said they they have never had better food at a wedding. We did our post-wedding brunch the next day at Oyster Point as well, and it was just as amazing. I didn't want to select a reception venue that everyone knew about.
