Facilities and Capacity
This 10,000 square foot space offers the perfect combination of country and elegance. For your ceremony, you can use The Pavilion’s rear garden, which provides a picturesque setting by saying “I do” beneath the elegant pergola. You have the opportunity to get ready in their Bride’s Retreat, which is a 700 square foot suite that can accommodate you and your attendants. They also offer a Groom’s Room. Guests can enter through large, wooden double doors to the climate controlled reception area called The Pavilion. They are greeted with the glow of four shining chandeliers. At the far end, there is a 34 foot wood-burning fireplace made of Tennessee field stone. It is topped with a wooden mantel--a beam from the 1800’s that has been reclaimed from the original home that once stood on the property. The red barn stretches to a 34 foot gambrel roof. This space is 60 by 75 feet and can accommodate 50 to 275 guests along with room for dancing. Behind The Pavilion, guests can mingle during cocktail hour on the patio, complete with a gas fire pit and wall for seating. This space is situated to one side of the 50 acre property and overlooks rolling pastures and a grove of North Carolina’s tall pine trees. It provides a serene country backdrop on your wedding day.

The Pavilion gave us exactly what we wanted for our big day. The location was perfect to allow our guests to stay downtown but still sneak away close by and get the country feel we desired. The venue was incredibly clean, spacious, and of course visibly stunning. All of our guests raved about the venue and how much they enjoyed the event. The staff was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. They were always prepared, and their knowledge and confidence was very comforting throughout a process that could have been very stressful. They were even very flexible and accommodating for us having the ceremony itself off-site. On the day of our wedding, our Coordinator from the Pavilion woke up sick and the assistant had to take over. You would not have even known anything was different. There was never a time where we felt nervous or anxious about our reception thanks to their immense knowledge and great relationship with all of the vendors. You can tell they have experience, but their passion is undeniable, and for that we will be forever thankful. Reviewed on 20-06-2023

Caitlin O'Neil(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-06-2021 We hosted our wedding at the Pavilion at Carriage Farm on 6/25/2021. Our event was incredible - truly the most perfect day. When looking for a wedding venue, we looked for a venue with indoor/outdoor space options that were flexible. The Pavilion has an incredible indoor space and fully customizable outdoor space options. During the wedding planning process, Marti was so helpful and responsive, answering any questions when we had and allowing us to come onsite to visit when we needed to leading up to the big day! As a pandemic couple who had to reschedule our wedding twice (third time's the charm!) the Pavilion was so flexible and reassuring during this process. We absolutely loved this wedding venue and could not recommend it more. Reviewed on 14-11-2021
Jennifer Brady(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-10-2021 This venue is beautiful and spacious. I love that you have the option to have the wedding inside in front of the beautiful fireplace or outside under the pergola. Marty and Alyson were great to work with! Highly recommend this venue, it's a barn that has an almost cabin like feel! Reviewed on 10-11-2021
Olani Allen(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-10-2020 What a perfect venue! We booked the Pavilion in 2019 for our October 2020 wedding. The great thing about this venue is that it was built as a venue, so it keeps your guests and your vendors in mind! We originally had a 200 person wedding planned, which ended up being a 50 person wedding due to covid. I was worried that the indoor reception area would look overwhelmingly big for 50 people, but it still managed to feel like a normal space and not too empty. So, the venue is great for large AND small weddings. Air conditioning is also a huge plus for those hot days! The outdoor space where we had our ceremony was beautiful! They recently added in more landscaping and it looked amazing. This is such a versatile space, that any design or color scheme looks good! We had so many beautiful locations for pictures. There is a big, beautiful bridal suite upstairs which has tons of natural light-- and it's big enough for your hair and makeup team to come to you! There's also a grooms suite downstairs. We loved having this as our venue! Reviewed on 16-03-2021
Morgan Verrone(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-11-2020 Marti and the team at the Pavilion at Carriage Farm became our rock during Wedding planning. We faced many challenges during the 2020 calendar year, yet Marti and her team always had our back. They were always responsive in helping us coordinate our big day, and executed flawlessly on the day-of. The venue itself is beautiful and speaks for itself. However, the support of the team there kept all our plans progressing and brought it all together. We had the venue during the whole day for preparation, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We also rented the space for our catered rehearsal dinner the night before, and the Pavilion provided bartenders and alcohol for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. There were a ton of moving pieces that they were able to take care of for us. (We had the option to coordinate these items ourselves, but we are very happy with the service the staff provided and it was less things for us to worry about). Overall, Marti and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with, and again, the Pavilion itself is absolutely beautiful for a Wedding. We strongly recommend! Reviewed on 29-12-2020
Rishi Chowdhary(groom)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-06-2020 We were excited to have our wedding at The Pavilion at Carriage Farm on June 13, 2020 but due to the Covid-19 situation impacting everyone we were unable to proceed. Given our guest list of 200+ people, elderly guests with conditions and a large quantity of our guests flying in for our wedding, it was a risk that we couldn’t put our family and friends through. As the Covid-19 situation was getting worse, we contacted the venue owner, Marti Leone, mid-March about our wedding on June 13th. She was of the opinion that weddings would still carry on as the Pavilion is a private venue. Her options to us at that time were to pick an open Friday or a Sunday they had later this year or to pick a Saturday in a winter month. Neither of those options worked for us as the last thing we wanted to do was commit to another date, make additional payments and plan the wedding again only to possibly have it cancelled because of the uncertainty of the Covid-19 situation. On March 20th, we made the disheartening but correct decision to not proceed with our wedding on June 13, 2020. Given these unusual circumstances, we asked for Marti’s understanding and compassion on more than one occasion to provide us back our large deposit we made or at the very least, a portion of it. However, she was not willing to do that, and we lost the entire deposit. Thankfully, our other vendors were much more compassionate and flexible with us. We are glad we made our decision as the COVID situation has gotten worse since then - it's a shame that the owner was not understanding. Reviewed on 23-07-2020
Tyler Williams(groom)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-05-2018 My wife and I got married at this venue in May of 2018. Before we signed up we were promised all air conditioning would be completed and bridal suite and everything would be ready. After paying the SIGNIFICANT amount of money on the day of the wedding there was NO air conditioning in the main reception area. Also the bridal suite was not air conditioned and the floor was not complete. The owner (Marty) was quite negative and was walking around our wedding watching our guests like an upset mean chaperone at a dance.I would never recommend for anyone to experience this venue or the owners. They were constantly not responding and the day of the wedding was nothing but over promising and under delivering. Please do not subject yourself to this negative experience of a venue - NOT WORTH IT. They need to work on being honest and upfront with their customers. Reviewed on 05-10-2019

Jill L(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-08-2018 We are SO glad that we found Pavilion at Carriage Farm after an extensive venue search – it was the perfect setting for our August 2018 reception! When we first toured, that was before it was enclosed with glass, air conditioned, and pre-bridal suite, and even then we thought it was perfect – since that time, Marti and her team worked incredibly hard to make it an even more impressive, sought after venue. The details included in the venue are amazingly breathtaking (chandeliers, stone fireplace, spacious bridal suite, stone fire pit, chivari chairs) and the scenic views made for stunning photos – including sunset shots with horses on the property! Bobbi was the ideal on-site venue representative on the day of, helping our day to run seamlessly. A huge perk of the venue is being able to bring your own alcohol – we went with Cook Shack (amazing!) for our catering and bartending services. We had 115 guests and there was plenty of room to move cocktail hour indoors when weather unfortunately did not permit for it to be held outdoors on the beautiful patio. The venue is naturally gorgeous and doesn’t require a ton of decorating; tables and chairs are included and whiskey barrels are available for rental. We wouldn’t change a thing about the Pavilion at Carriage Farm – thank you to Marti and team for being so accommodating and making our wedding day unforgettable! We could not have made a better venue decision! Reviewed on 01-10-2018
Griffin Durias(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-06-2018 The Pavilion at Carriage Farm was an amazing venue. The space was big enough to comfortably fit our wedding of 200 people. There is plenty of room for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception without having to worry about moving tables and chairs around for each event. The chandeliers are breathtaking and add such a classic, elegant look to the Pavilion. Hope Pittard(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-10-2017 My husband and I got married here on Oct. 22, 2017 and it could not have been more of a dream! I’ve loved horses my entire life and was ecstatic that we were able to find a venue in the Raleigh/Garner area that had horses on the property. Marti, the venue owner, was great to work with! She made touring, booking and paying so incredibly easy. The Pavilion was not completely finished during our wedding but our guests weren’t able to tell at all! I can only imagine how amazing the venue will be once the Pavilion bridal suite is completed and the ceremony site at the Pavilion is grown up and bloomed. Thao Nghi Bui(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-05-2017 We wanted a unique venue that wasn't in a banquet hall or too outdoor country and the Pavilion at Carriage Farm was perfect! It's on a horse farm and just simple southern elegance. Our ceremony was behind the Manor or you can have it under the tree in front of the pond. We got married 5/28 so it was hot during the ceremony in the sun, but the Pavilion has fans and the lobby area is air conditioned. We booked this venue when the Pavilion was just a big patch of dirt, so it was exciting to watch them build it. They provide tables and chairs: 25-60\" rounds, 2-48\" rounds, 5-6' longs, 10 cocktails, 2 sets of 200 chairs. We only had to rent bar tables and brought our own alcohol (huge money saver). You have to choose from a list of caterers, and while we would have liked more options, we hired Rocky Top and they were delicious. They provide shuttle carts between sites, I think driven by their kids, which is really cute. You can also walk, but it's not easy in heels. The guys got ready in the Pavilion groom room, and my bridal party got ready in the Manor, which is stunning! The new bridal suite wasn't ready for our wedding (which we knew when we booked), but I bet it's gorgeous. The reception area is open on the sides, so it feels like you're outside. This is great for kids because they can run and have fun, and you'll get amazing photos at sunset. They have chandeliers, a huge stone fireplace, and a stone patio (perfect for cocktail hour), so you don't need to decorate much. Alex handled reservations and after we booked, all communication was with the owner. Marti is such a sweet lady and so helpful and flexible. We didn't use the venue for our rehearsal, so she gave us 2 extra hours for setup. We DIY'ed a ton of stuff, including linen, decor, flowers, instruments, etc., so those extra hours were life-saving! The owners really seem like sweet, caring people. This venue is on their home property so a lot of care and attention is given to make sure the venue is beautiful. Reviewed on 26-07-2017
