Meagan Vanlandingham(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-06-2022 My husband and I chose Charleston for our destination wedding and we wanted a venue that truly showed how beautiful Charleston was. Patriots point links was it. The grounds are great and the view is AMAZING and speaks for itself! Definitely recommend Reviewed on 26-06-2022
Samantha Harrington(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-06-2016 When planning my out-of-town June wedding, I wanted to find a venue that captured the beauty of Charleston for all of my guests, so they would be able to understand why I made them travel so far for our wedding. The view from the Pavilion at Patriot's Point is gorgeous! The white tent when at night has lights around the edges was perfect and fit all 180 of our guests. Lacy, our wedding coordinator, was attentive and helpful throughout the whole wedding process. During our food tasting is where I felt all the stress lift from my shoulders. She answered every one of my questions in person, and also asked me some of her own questions of the little details that I had forgotten about. When my cousins dropped of all our DIY items and accessories, Lacy and her team set it up to a T. The food was AMAZING! Guests are still raving about everything from the appetizers to the stations. The chef worked with us to create a chicken and waffle appetizer. It was the first to go! The chicken stir-fry plated in Chinese take-out boxes were a huge hit, especially since my husband is half- Chinese and wanted that touch of his heritage represented at the wedding. Now my day was not all that I imagined. I had hoped for a beautiful, breezy outdoor ceremony in the grass followed to a night of bug free dancing under the tent. It started with being the hottest day of the year to a Charleston thunderstorm occurring an hour before my outside the tent ceremony. Lacy kept everything calm and on point. We pushed back the ceremony time, her team moved the chairs under the tent where the focal point of pictures was still focusing on the waterfront view, and she kept us on a new time frame where I never once felt rushed or panicked. My guests left with a happy belly, smile, and true understanding of why my family vacations here every year for the past 30 years. My husband and I left with memories, a full stomach, and solid confirmation that we chose the best venue for our Charleston wedding. You can't go wrong! Even my Plan B was amazing! Megan Dailer(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-07-2015 I cannot recommend this venue enough; having Lacy and her team help with every aspect of the planning process was invaluable. The food and service was outstanding and got rave reviews from all of our guests. Lacy recommended all of my other vendors for me and they each exceeded my expectations in every way. The Pavilion is a gorgeous and unique venue! Our wedding was the best day of our lives and having this amazing backdrop was just and added bonus. Reviewed on 11-08-2015
Leigh turbeville(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-02-2014 Most everything went as planned! however, guests were not directed in to reception tent as I was told they would be so portrait and guest book were not properly placed resulting in few guests signing the guest book. Also, a $350 fee to light the fire pit was added per my request. However, they don't tell you that it can only be lit at a certain time. So the time in which my guests were having cocktail hour outside around the fire pit it was not lit. Then someone in my party lit it and was reprimanded for doing so. Mind you the wedding was in Feb and it was cold and the sun goes down at 6:00! Just a heads up... Reviewed on 13-03-2014
Mindy Rendon(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-07-2013 I went to look at several wedding sites in Charleston on the water, and this by far was the best. The water gives a constant breeze, which helps with the summer heat. The ceremony site facing the water has a stunning view and it was great to just walk over to the reception site at the tent. The tent itself is spacious and had plenty of room for band, dance floor and guest tables. Lacy was a good day-of coordinator to have everything set up as we had discussed. I planned my wedding while living outside of the US, so it was nice to be able to email her constant questions about vendors, recommendation, changes, etc. since I could not always call long distance. Overall, I would highly recommend this to any bride! Reviewed on 21-07-2013

Kirsten Edwards(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-08-2012 I was planning my wedding from 3 states away, and Lacy and her team were beyond wonderful. Lacy was great with keeping in contact with us and was very flexible as i constantly changed my mind on what I wanted. The day of wedding couldn't have been any better. Our decorations were set out exactly as I asked, and was one less thing for me to worry about. Beyond the great staff, the location is wonderful. Great view and located close to multiple hotels. I would highly recommend The Pavilion for anyone planning a wedding. Reviewed on 21-10-2012

Ericka Worboys(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-08-2011 The location was wonderful but the service wasn't the greatest. The woman that works in the catering department was often times difficult to get in touch with. We had an open bar at our wedding and they ran out of bud light and miller light during dinner. Overall I loved the location and the food but the staff could have been better prepared. Reviewed on 15-09-2011
j s(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-04-2011 Really pretty location...just beware of the wind! It can be pretty windy here, but overall is a perfect location. The tent is really pretty. I would suggest renting white covers for the 2 poles in the middle...makes the tent look much more elegant. Reviewed on 16-05-2011
