The Details: First, the Basic stuff. The Pavilion Event Space features elegant indoor ballrooms with versatile floor plans, and a one-of-a-kind outdoor ceremony space for couples to host their big day. The inside consists of 10,000 sq ft of thoughtfully curated spaces, 13 Swarovski Crystal Chandeliers, Stylish Getting ready areas, and a ton of rental and design options. Outside, The Open Air Chapel is arguably one of the most unique outdoor ceremony spaces in the midwest! It seats up to 300 (just like inside), has full amphitheater surround sound, and is sure to wow your guests. We intentionally designed all the spaces with a neutral color palette so that your colors and style will always look flawless, no matter what aesthetic and vision you choose. We are located in Kansas City, MO near I-70 and I-435, on four acres, making us easily accessible to guests coming from every direction. Our breathtaking event spaces and dedicated in-house design and coordination team make for an unforgettable experience for our couples. Now that we got that part over with, let's get to the HEART of the matter: The Venue is gorgeous. It really does sell itself. HOWEVER, it is truly the people that work here that make this place special. We hope to make you laugh as much as we do, because this is supposed to be FUN! We take your wedding day VERY seriously, but we certainly don’t take ourselves TOO seriously. Our goal is to turn what can be an incredibly stressful planning process into something that you can actually enjoy. Sometimes you need a wedding professional, but sometimes you need a friend (or a wedding therapist). That is where The Pavilion Event Space stands out from everyone else. We are a small close knit family who really take pride in what we do. We LOVE weddings, helping people, and love in general. ALL are welcome here. If you are trying to find a place for your wedding, I could not recommend The Pavilion Event Space more. They were so kind and respectful. All my vendors raved about how organized they were. I didn't worry about a thing because I knew how organized they were. They made our day perfect, and that's just the service. The space was gorgeous and they even designed the room with me so I knew it would look perfect. If you are on the fence about where to get married, you should definitely choose The Pavilion Event Space !

We got married on Saturday October 28th 2023. We definitely don’t have any complaints! Destiny was our venue coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She did a wonderful job with making our day perfect. Also, Taylor was wonderful as well as our bartender! Both of them together was A1 for sure! We just appreciate everyone at the Pavilion Event Space. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The Pavilion went above and beyond for us on our wedding day and leading up. They were 2nd venue we looked at and ended up looking at 4 total. Nothing compared to what they had to offer! Destiny, Evan, and Stacy I think was her name were there for us every step. I do not know of any other venue that would do what they did. They made sure we were okay and answered any questions up until the last second. They were easy to work with, always answered quickly and recommended the BEST vendors. We got our DJ, Florist and Catering through their recommendations as well and nothing went wrong. They provide a day of coordinator and bartender with the venue as well. I wish I could do it all over again just to have them! They made the day fun, effortless, and memorable.

My husband and I got married on 10/21/2023 and all I gotta say is OMG!!! I don’t even know where to begin. This place is AMAZING! Staffs was AMAZING! Everything was just AMAZING!!! Weather was great! When I had questions, all I had to do was email them and bam, they responded within a couple hours. On rehearsal day, they even stayed late just so my bridal party can practice their entrance dance. The Pavilion had everything just the way I imagined, but even BETTER! They were with us every step of the way and we appreciate each and everyone one of them! I wouldn’t changed anything! We just got married 10/14/23 and they were the absolute BEST!!! The day went without a hiccup and they were constantly checking on us and people with us to make sure we didn’t need anything. We had about 180 guests and every single one of them complimented the venue, the venue staff, bartenders etc. They were more than accommodating!!! And they were a blast!!! Destiny, Mallory, Stacy and Taylor worked our event and I just can’t say enough about them!!!! Kacey and Evan helped us through planning and they gave us all the direction we needed. Again, everyone killed it!!! We will remember our flawless and successful day forever!! We are so happy and thankful we picked this venue!!!

I got married at the pavilion just yesterday and I am over the moon unbelievably happy that we chose this place to get married! Destiny and Taylor were the most amazing people. So helpful and had the best advice. Everybody told me to expect something to go wrong and seriously NOTHING did thanks to them. I would recommend this place to absolutely anybody. Not only did I have an incredible wedding but I also feel like I have new friends! I can’t wait to come back in a couple years to take pictures and see them all again! We are so blessed!

I was a very type A, detail-oriented bride and I handed the reigns over to them and the delivered and exceeded my expectations and beyond!!!! We cannot say enough amazing words for The Pavilion and the whole Pavilion team! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the whole team works amazing with you and communicates so much with you whether you are a year+ out from your wedding day up to the day of the wedding! During our wedding day, the whole team checked in on all of us making sure we were doing good and if we needed anything. They also communicated with all of our vendors on the day of to make sure the day goes smoothly and soundly. From the very beginning, we were blown away with this venue and the whole team working for them. All of our guests loved the venue and couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it is and how well everything went. If we were to do this day all over again from the very beginning, we wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Thank you so much Pavilion team for making our day amazing and perfect!! We absolutely loved our special day!

The Pavilion crew are hands down the best people to work with. They are very flexible and will do anything to make sure your wedding is what you want it to be. Communication is always there and they will always answer your emails and calls. On the day of they tend to you constantly and will check in to make sure you’re doing okay or need anything. My husband and I just got married at this venue. We had such a blast and everybody said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to! The wedding coordinator Destiny is the reason everything was so amazing! She really took control and kept everything running smoothly. As a bride, I was shocked being so stress free and relaxed because Destiny was covering everything! She also gave me and my bridesmaids her personal phone number to instantly contact her at all, but we never needed to because she was always there when needed. Destiny single-handedly helped make our special day the best day ever. I hear so many wedding horror stories, but I knew I had nothing to worry about thanks to her amazing work! That’s saying a lot because I’m an OCD anxious control freak! You won’t regret requesting her!

From the moment we walked in the building, we knew The Pavilion was where we were going to get married! If you're looking for an incredible venue ran by exceptional and down to earth people to help make your Wedding day exciting and memorable, The Pavilion is IT!!! Kacie, Evan, Destiny, Taylor, and the team are so attentive, organized, personable, and dedicated to making one of the best days of your life even better. They treat you like family, and do everything in their power to make your dream Wedding come true. Destiny was our Coordinator, we LOVED her approach and support to ensure we stayed on schedule and things went as smooth as possible. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND in EVERYTHING, and our family and friends LOVED her too!!!! Taylor and Kacie were always smiling and cheerful, and they work so hard alongside the team! Evan was a great Manager and Bar Tender, he made our guests laugh and have fun! The cost is affordable, and they even have a wide variety of linens, centerpieces, arbors, and so much more! We used the outdoor space for the ceremony because the landscaping was breathtaking and romantic. They even lit up the open air chapel at night with purple lights, which was fun for nighttime photos too! The indoor reception hall is gorgeous, with a Jr. Ballroom and Bridal suite for getting ready. We also appreciated that we were able to bring our own alcohol instead of committing to a Bar minimum. It was truly an honor to have our wedding at the Pavilion, we would do it 100 times again if we could! We even hope to go back for a Vow renewal in the years to come. We THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for being the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Pavilion Event Space was the first and only venue I toured after I got engaged! Right when I walked through the door i knew it was the place I wanted to get married. Not only because of how beautiful the event space was, but because of how nice and welcoming the staff was. Through out the year and a half engagement they were always there to answer questions whether it was email or over the phone. I truly felt like they were there for me and my now husband the whole way. Fast forward to the couple weeks leading up to the wedding and the day off. Destiny and Taylor (day of coordinators) were absolutely amazing. They made sure my husband and I didn’t see each other even if that meant they stood in front of me lol. Destiny and Taylor always made sure I had someone with me 24/7 on the day of incase something happened. They also checked on my husband and I throughout the whole day/night to make sure we were okay and didn’t need anything. Evan (bartender) was absolutely amazing as well. He served my husband his special drink all night and everyone was ranting and raving about his energy the whole night. He even got on the dance floor and showed some of his own moves. Our wedding was perfect, everything went so smoothly, and I feel like that wouldn’t of happened without these three workers who would do anything for their bride and groom. 100% recommend the pavilion event space. Kacie (the owner) and her colleagues are absolutely amazing and the venue itself is gorgeous!!

The Pavilion Event Space were wonderful vendors to work with! From the beginning, Evan gave us a great tour and helped us envision ourselves at the alter and dancing the night away in the reception area. He gave tips on great vendors and even helped with our bar on the day of the event. We had multiple attendees give positive feedback about their experience with him. Destiny was a gem to work with. You could tell not only that she was committed to ensuring our day was a success but that she was experienced enough to handle any obstacles that arise. Our day was great and much of that can be credited to the hard work and dedication of the team.

We had a little mishap with one of the bridesmaids dresses and she helped figure it all out!! We wouldn’t have had the best night if it weren’t for her!! Evan was absolutely amazing as well behind the bar! We got so many compliments for the both of them from our guests!! We 1000% recommend the venue as well as the amazing coordinators!!

I can't say enough great things about The Pavilion Event Space. We decided to look at this venue based off the Pavilion outdoor ceremony area, which I was in love with right off the bat, and the indoor area for reception sealed the deal even more. The Pavilion has so much to offer that you really do get the bang for your buck. They set up & take down, provide the linens, tables, chairs, bridal suite, jr. suite, BYOB with them doing the bar service, along with being able to rent all of the decorating needs from them as well!!! You don't even need to out source if you don't want to deal with the hassle of 50 million vendors... which I didn't. The bonus that really sold me was the Day of Coordinator. I had DESTINY! She was/is a heaven sent. If you want someone who is there to really advocate for you as the bride on your special day, someone to take on the little stress worries, give you great energy, make you laugh, etc. she is 100% the girl for the job! My husband, bridal party, parents, we all LOVED her! She truly cares about you and making sure your day is enjoyed with no problems. I was able to work alongside her from designing everything for the reception, rehearsal, & wedding day. She's easy going, relaxing, just absolutely perfect!EVAN is also amazing! He helped so much with the numbers for alcohol that we needed to buy, gave great tips to help and his personality is perfect! I was so happy that he was able to be the bartender on our wedding night! I highly recommend The Pavilion to anyone! They made my wedding experience so stress free and I am forever grateful for them!

We had a flawless and smooth experience at the Pavilion. The venue is just as gorgeous as all of the pictures make it out to be. We took the advice of the coordinators there and selected all of our vendors from their approved list. They have great relationships with many vendors that know how the Pavilion is setup. Picking a photographer and videographer that knew the venue also generated some amazing shots that I'm sure others would have missed. The Pavilion offers a lot of support compared to other venues we looked at. A day-of-coordinator is included. They offer the ability to customize the space without having to buy all the drapery and linens, they just had a small fee. So we had a beautiful wedding and were not left with a bunch of decorations we did not need. The team there makes you feel very special and they want you to have a great event. They were there for us every step of the way and made planning easier than we were expecting. Our wedding was in April, so we planned for an outdoor wedding and were able to have a back-up plan in case it rained. Luckily for us, we had a beautiful spring day that went off without a hitch! I 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and trouble-free experience for the couple.

The Pavillion Event Space is an EXCELLENT space for a wedding. The packages are reasonable, the items for rent look wonderful, and the staff are flexible in making the look you want happen. The venue has the best intentions for your day and ensures that caterers, DJs, Photographers, and other vendors are working to give you the best day possible.The day-of coordinator will meet with you as often as needed, make sure that your vision is possible and met, and make sure that, on the day, you are catered to and comfortable to the best of their ability.While we were planning and preparing for our day, our coordinator, Destiny, met with us to pick out linens, decor to rent from the facility, and go over our plan for the day to ensure she understood what we wanted the day to feel like, how we wanted it to flow, and what we wanted it to look like. Destiny met with us again to go over our plans after we had finalized more information later in our process, was available by phone very readily, and was a reassuring presence leading up to the day.During the rehearsal, Destiny made sure to explain what she would be doing to make our plans a reality, how she would keep people in order, and was flexible in including people we offered to help support her from our families and wedding party so that we could have someone else close to us involved in ensuring the day went well.The day of, Destiny was on top of everything. She had the floor laid out, placed all the linens with her team, frequently checked in with us to make sure we were feeling like the day was progressing smoothly, and ensured that we had the best time possible that day. Destiny helped ensure that the plan we had built was kept to and we stayed on schedule the entire day thanks to her awesome support.In addition to Destiny, Evan, the GM, helped us build our drink order for our caterer, ran the bar for us, and was also readily available by phone as needed. When we had a small concern from our meal caterer, Evan helped step in and reassure the caterer of their concerns and get everything back on track. When we had a more finalized count for our wedding, Evan advised reducing the bar tenders we had hired through them from 2 to 1, a move that definitely demonstrates what the Pavillion Event Space showed us time and time again: A willingness to lose a bit on the price to ensure we were spending our money and time in an efficient and appropriate manner even when it was against their own bottom dollar.That focus on us and our best interests is by far the strongest selling point we can point out. They are not out to flip weddings or take advantage of you. The Pavillion Event Space cherishes your experience and happiness. It's a great feeling to have that you are spending your money at a place that acts that way and that your guests will enjoy.The day-of Evan made sure that any holes we had not filled got covered to the best of their ability, such as when we realized that we did not have serving tongs for our cocktail snacks. He also made sure that when we came in first from the ceremony, we had drinks and a moment to celebrate ourselves before our guests rejoined inside.We greatly enjoyed our time at The Pavillion Event Space, and highly recommend checking them out to host your events, as they will definitely give you a great experience.

The Pavilion Event Space was AMAZING. The design meeting closer to the wedding date was a huge added bonus, the inside + outdoor venue spaces are spectacular, and the bridal suite + junior ballroom areas fit our needs perfectly. Destiny and Evan were sooooo helpful with the planning process, and Destiny really delivered in making sure our big day went smoothly and really kept my head on straight! I would 1,000,000% recommend this as your wedding venue!

Omg … where to even begin . The venue itself was breathtaking from the moment we stepped into that grand ball room we instantly felt connected and knew it was the venue and with the added decorations it made it so much more perfect . Our coordinator Destiny was absolutely phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for better person to get me through the day. I had an anxiety meltdown but she swooped in and provided me with what I needed to get me going. She made sure everything was perfect and well managed and she did absolutely amazing . Our bartender Evan was just as amazing. Had a drink ready for me after ceremony and knew exactly what I wanted . He was calm and very very helpful with any questions I had. Plus his dance moves are pretty great haha . I would recommend this venue 100% again and again and again . The professionalism and communication was perfect . If I could give this venue 20 stars I most definitely would.

We had our wedding at the Pavilion Event Space on 11/19/22 and our team was great! We booked the venue over a year ago and from then, we have been treated amazingly! The communication and professionalism from the team was/is phenomenal. On wedding day, us along with our guests were taken care of and treated great. Surprisingly, I was not stressed at all that day and I give thanks to Destiny, Evan, and all of the other staff that helped us throughout the day. I recommend anyone to have their wedding at the Pavilion Event Space not only because the venue is beautiful, but because of the great hospitality, the communication, the professionalism like stated before. I loved every moment of our wedding day so much that I did not want the night to end. The next day, we received so many compliments from family and friends about our team at the Pavilion and I just cannot thank them enough for their great service! The team helped us so much when it came to picking a caterer, photographer, alcohol choices, etc., due to them providing us with a vendor list which was really helpful. Again, we can’t thank the team at the Pavilion Event Space enough for their incredible work! THANK YOU!

My wedding was literally my dream! From the moment I stepped into the space I was taken care of. They made this process so simple and stress free I couldn’t have asked for more. We rented both the outside and inside so we had both ballrooms it was truly beautiful. They had things we could rent that we didn’t even think about or think we needed they suggested drinks and literally anything we needed help with. I will have to say the best part about this process is that they give you a coordinator the day of. Destiny was absolutely AMAZING! I truly can’t put into words my appreciation. Seating guest , making sure my kids were ok to just bringing me bottles of water so I wouldn’t be dehydrated Destiny truly did it all and I wouldn’t have made it through the day without them honestly. The amount of support I received was priceless. Love love love everything about this place. For sure a fairytale wedding venue.

The wedding venue of my literal dreams, and a dream team that runs it! When I say I wish I could relive my wedding at the pavilion every day, I mean it! Kacie runs such a smooth show and is so great to work with, from planning the layout to linens and being my day of coordinator, she knocked it all out of the park. Evan is the greatest bartender (Startender) and my guests absolutely loved him. He was so quick to help out and helped our alcohol purchase go so smooth. The Pavilion Event Space since day 1 they have been nothing short of amazing. They provide a day of venue coordinator (Destiny) who will literally bend over backwards for everything you ever need. You can tell she’s been doing this for awhile and genuinely cares that your day is as beautiful as you imagined - and makes it happen. The venue also comes with the most incredible bartender (Evan) who is just amazing. You get a full bar consultation prior to your wedding. And if you’re like me and forget ice, he’ll go to 3 gas stations until he finds ice for you and you’ll have no idea a crisis was averted until the end of the night. I cannot say enough about how AMAZING the Pavilion staff and venue was. It was the first tour we took when looking for venues. Not only were we nervous because it was our first tour but especially because being an LGBTQ couple, we hoped we would be treated just as normal as other couples. From the moment we stepped inside, all of those fears quickly faded. Evan gave us the tour and really sold us on everything. But it wasn’t just that he sold us on the venue, he sold us when he found out we were at our first tour and on his willingness to talk to us about what questions we had, what questions we SHOULD have, answered those for us. He provided us with a list of amazing vendors and the order of which we need to book them. We saw one more venue directly after the Pavilion and as soon as we left we emailed the Pavilion and wanted to book. Not only did Evan sell us on the venue but he is the bartender and he CRUSHED it. All of our guests were so impressed with him and told us this all night. He helped us create signature drinks and come up with a shopping list so we had enough alcohol for the evening. He had us drinks waiting when we came inside from the ceremony and kept the guests happy all evening! Not only was Evan amazing, but Kacie CRUSHED it as well. She’s so fun L, creative, and energetic and came up with amazing ideas during the design meeting. She created bomb custom quad panel pipe and backdrop for our reception and she along with the rest of the staff kept things flawless from the day we booked up until the end of the evening of our wedding. The entire staff at the Pavilion was absolutely amazing and we 20/10 recommend to anyone. Not to mention their venue speaks for itself in the beauty of the open air chapel and beautiful indoor space. Our guests complimented the venue and the staff all evening. We could not have had our dream wedding without Kacie, Evan, Leah, and the entire staff at The Pavilion and we are forever grateful to them!

The perfect venue for the perfect event! I have nothing but great things to say about this venue. From the owner, our coordinator Destiny, and the bartender Evan! I booked this venue in October and got married in February. They made the process so easy and stress free. They took my vision and made it come to life. For someone like myself who hates decorating, they do it all for you!The venue was beautiful. Destiny was great to work with. She was always there when I needed her, which includes texting her on her personal cell phone the day before the wedding. Her communication with me were great leading up to the wedding to the day of. Evan was the best bartender. He knows exactly what he is talking about. With them, I felt like they were family and I already miss them!I would 1000000% go with them again! The Pavilion Event Space was everything I could have ever dreamed of and more in a venue. It was the perfect combination of indoor & outdoor venue so that I could have the outdoor wedding I wanted & my fiance could have the indoor reception he preferred. I have dreamed of having my wedding in a space like this since my childhood. Our day of coordinator (Leah) did an amazing job helping to prepare the space and the layout a couple weeks prior to the wedding and lead our rehearsal with an admittedly rowdy group. The ceremony in the outdoor air chapel was beautiful and everything I dreamed of for a refined outdoor wedding. Our guests loved it and we got nothing but compliments! The indoor reception was absolutely gorgeous! They had the perfect backdrop to match our colors, the linens were set up probably long before we arrived, and the facility in general was clean and well-kept. The staff was friendly and we loved the bartenders who did everything in their power to make me, my groom, our immediate families, & the bridal party have as much fun as possible all night long! Evan even helped us decide what alcohol to order before the wedding, as we brought our own. We also highly recommend the ambiance package because it was cool to have our monogram projected onto the walls and fun colored lights throughout the night. Our guests loved the venue and we had fun in the outdoor chapel for a few nighttime photos with the lights. Highly highly recommended!

I truly cannot say enough good things about this venue or the Pavilion team. Our wedding was on January 9 of this year and it was INCREDIBLE. Of course it was stressful planning a wedding during COVID - but from our first meeting, the Pavilion team was with us every step of the way. No question / request ever seemed like a burden (believe me - I had a LOT of questions). In addition to the amazing staff - their venue is truly so timelessly beautiful that I didn't need a ton of decorations to make it beautiful. We could not have had a better coordinator to help things run smoothly on our wedding day. We never had to worry about a thing - we were just able to enjoy ourselves! Guests raved about how beautiful and elegant the venue was and also how incredibly helpful/kind the staff was. Our wedding and reception was indoors but you are free to use their stunning open air chapel for photos. Even in the dead of winter we got a beautiful backdrop that was steps away from the venue. I recommend this venue to everyone!

Where to begin from planning to the day of, the Pavilion was perfect. I feel as though I had a vision and Kacie and her team made it come true. I never felt as though I asked too many questions or that any ask couldn't happen. The entire team made our wedding day flawless. We had so many compliments on our bartenders for our wedding day and how awesome they were. Kacie did an awesome job of keeping our pretty big wedding party organized and ready to go. Couple suggestions for brides do the Tuscany style seating for you head table, at first I wasn't sure about it but I loved it! I actually got to talk to our wedding party during dinner and see everyone's faces! Let Kacie and her team handle the design piece! They are so good at making beautiful back drop!I wish I could relive our wedding day over and over because it was absolutely perfect because of the Pavilion!

We recently held my daughter's wedding and reception at The Pavilion Event Space. It was perfect. Leah was absolutely amazing. She took care of everything we needed, and things we didn't even know we needed! The venue is beautiful, and the location was perfect, plenty of parking and close to the highway. There was a bridal suite for the girls to get ready in, which was awesome. We were able to bring in our own catering and liquor.If you want to have the kind of wedding where you hardly do anything, and the venue does everything, this is the place for you. Ask for Leah. She's the best! She went above and beyond anything we could have expected. This was our 4th wedding in our family, and it was by far the easiest.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! We had our ceremony outside in the open air chapel and had our reception inside the ball room. This venue has beautiful hardwood floors, chandeliers, expert advice and coordination and much much more. The venue offers use of vases, signs, tablecloths, and chairs all free of charge as well as offer tons of decor to rent. They are incredible to work with and made sure that everything went as planned throughout the day.

Kacie and her team are amazing. They always responded so quickly, every time I reached out to them via email. When you're planning a wedding, communication is a huge thing. What can I say about the venue..the outdoor ceremony and reception space is sooo beautiful. My wedding day went flawlessly. It was raining all morning and some part of the afternoon, but they made sure every thing went without a hitch right when I walked out for the ceremony. I cannot recommend the Pavilion Event Space enough. The backdrop for the head table was gorgeous and the fog machine made my first dance extra special. BOOK them, you will not regret it.

Kacie and her team made my dream wedding come to life. Simply put - the space is stunning. The outdoor ceremony space is so breathtaking, it really doesn't need any decoration. Inside is equally as stunning, and they have several centerpiece items you can use that not only save you money, but elevate the beauty of the space even more. We had a very large wedding - about 275 guests - and a big dance floor was the most important thing to us when looking for a venue. We had a massive dance floor and there was still plenty of room for our 22 tables so guests didn't feel crammed. Something I found to be unique to the Pavilion is the design meeting and final layout meeting. They are organized and help you really see how everything will come together on your wedding day so you don't have to worry about a thing the day of. Kacie was there every step of the way to answer questions and provide suggestions. Evan rocked the bar and his shopping list made it so much easier to stock our own bar. The ability to bring in your own vendors is SO VALUABLE and I am so thankful we chose the Pavilion for our wedding day. Thank you Kacie, Evan, & team for everything!

All of our guests were raving about the beautiful ballroom and unique open air chapel!! But when we booked with The Pavilion, not only did we get a great space for our wedding, we got a rockstar team! Kacie handles everything the day of and ensured that I (an overly stressed out bride) didn't have to worry about anything or even know if anything is going wrong behind the scenes. She was also present at our rehearsal to ensure everything would run smoothly the next day. Kacie is organized, experienced, and extremely passionate about her work which translates into everything she does. First of all- this space is beautiful (I mean, just look at their photos!). I am a photographer and this venue makes my job easy. The staff is incredible as well. Working as a team is so important when it comes to your vendors and you can rest assured that these guys are team players. I photographed a wedding here this past weekend when it was storming all day long. Kacie worked with me to make sure our couple was happy and taken care of. The bar staff went out of their way to mix up a drink for the bride when she was getting a little stressed before the ceremony. Kacie and her staff have been so HELPFUL and WONDERFUL since the beginning 20 months ago. From references to helping with design layout/backdrop to answering our thousands of questions. The Pavilion event space took our dreams and made them come to life. Evan was AMAZING, he helped with alcohol questions and ideas on amounts. we had a million compliments from our guests on the wedding night on how FANTASTIC he was. Andrew was AWESOME with music and making everything flow. He had great ideas for songs when we couldn't think of anything. Overall I Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Pavilion Event Space a million times, it is the Best Venue in the Kansas City area and their open Air Chapel is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! We booked Pavilion Event Space 16 months in advance and so when our big day came on October 6, 2018 it was so surreal! When we first stepped into the open air chapel last June, we literally got goosebumps and knew this was the place we wanted to get married. In the planning process, we worked with Leah who was professional, flexible, and kind. She helped us feel at ease and helped our visions and ideas come to life. With a storm rolling in as we are getting ready to walk down the aisle, Leah helped us figure out a plan to make sure our day went as smoothly as possible and that the ceremony could take place outside! I don’t even know where to begin! I had my wedding at The Pavilion Event Space last month and have nothing but great things to say about the venue and it’s staff. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. From the Open Air Chapel, the chandeliers, down to the wood floors, everything about The Pavilion is just jaw dropping – I am still getting compliments from guests. We used their DJ and he did not disappoint either! All of our guests were up dancing for hours! Not only is the venue beautiful, the staff is just as amazing. Kacie and her team went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I had the best wedding day ever. I was an out of state bride – which was very nerve wracking. We had the privilege of working closely with Leah and she made all of those nerves go away! From the MANY emails and phone calls to Leah with questions, I did not have to worry about a thing and knew we were in good hands. An example on how awesome Kacie’s team is.. our wood “welcome” sign by the Open Air Chapel blew over before the ceremony and broke in half. The team rushed, glued it back together, and made sure it was ready to go by the time the ceremony started! Funny thing is – I didn’t even know this happened until the next day! We truly did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day and can 100% thank The Pavilion. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend!!

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our choice to get married at the Pavilion. It’s affordable and so much more than just a space. They have packages that include lighting, an amazing DJ service, centerpieces, linens, and so much more. Most importantly you get a coordinator who plans everything with you and is there the day of to make sure everything goes as planned so you don’t have to! Our coordinator, Leah, was helpful, creative, fun, and really made the day special for us. Whether you know exactly what you want, or you could use some suggestions they cater to whatever you need and get the job done. We seriously don’t have one negative thing to say about them.

Every single one of her staff from the DJ to the bar tenders went WAY above and beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of!!! Everything was perfect in every way!!! I HIGHLY recommend this venue! Worth every single penny spent on it!! Kacie has done an outstanding job with how the venue looks!! It’s breathtakingly beautiful!!!

Friends, brides, lend me your ears. I'm about to lay down a review for the only venue you should use for your wedding.First off, the venue itself. Honestly not much to look at on the outside. Definitely clean, but not picturesque. BUT. Step inside and treat your eyes to an absolutely gorgeous reception area full of polished wooden accents and stunning tin ceilings. Plus, clean bathrooms with plenty of stalls and a very comfortable bridal salon. The open-air chapel-like structure is near a few ordinary business centers, but you can't see them when you're in the chapel itself. Have Leah tell you all about it - super cool story!Speaking of Leah and her staff...they are extraordinary! They are what really won us over. Leah, Evan, and Lindsey are fun, professional, and knowledgeable, and they genuinely care about your event and how YOU feel about it. Your ideas are important to them, and they're conscientious about your budget.And they all went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. Leah held my train when I walked in. Evan memorized guest names and orders like he has some kind of photographic memory. Lindsey made us a crest to go on the wall at the reception!Book your wedding here. You will not regret it.

We had our ceremony and reception here on 1/14/18 and it was absolutely perfect!!! Looking back, I have nothing bad to say about our day. The space is gorgeous, the staff is incredibly hardworking and some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They took care of everything from set up to tear down so my only concern that day was show up and get married. Leah, our coordinator, was amazing and made sure our day went perfectly. She took time to get to know us as a couple and to understand our vision. We did a full flip from our ceremony to our reception and our guests went into the Junior Ballroom for snacks while we took pictures. They flipped everything SO fast and everyone was amazed at the quickness and efficiency. Andrew, the DJ, made the dance floor the place to be during the reception. It was so fun for me to see my friends and family enjoying themselves. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this venue. The aesthetics are absolutely stunning, and for everything that is included the price is incredible. I have already recommended this venue to my friends who are getting married soon. There simply isn’t a better venue out there than The Pavilion Event Space.

I cannot say enough great things about this venue and the staff. We had our wedding here on Nov 4, 2017 and it was PERFECT! Everything was so smooth and SO many of our guests commented on how awesome the place looked, how clean it was, how much fun they had, etc. The flexibility and creativity Kacie and her team have is exceptional and the new outdoor space is beautiful (though I did my ceremony inside, I used the outdoor area for photos). I have also attended another wedding here and because my wedding was coming up I was watching carefully. They are stealthy in keeping things moving, keeping up with any surprises, and when it comes time to clean up, they were right there helping out so the bride and groom could enjoy the remainder of their party. They have tons of options and ideas for decor and their communication was so reliable! I went to the venue tons of times to look again and ask questions etc. If you are looking for some assistance in relieving some of your final countdown stress, look no further. We had tons of compliments on the venue, staff, decor, bar service, and DJ. We had our daughters wedding reception at The Pavilion and could not have asked for a better venue. Everyone who came to the reception commented on how beautiful it was. Plenty of space for tables, food, and dancing. The team there was so easy to work with and the night of the reception would keep asking if there was anything they could do for us. They want you happy and we sure were!!! Thanks for some of the best memories ever!!! Thanks Pavilion.

There is not enough space for me to relay all of the wonderful things about the Pavilion Event Space. The space itself is just plain gorgeous - both the new outdoor event space and the inside reception space. Kacie, Leah, Evan and team are superb! Whether I saw them at a scheduled meeting time, called them on the phone, popped over to see something, or ran into them at another event, they had nothing but kind words of encouragement to share with me as a stressed-out bride. They went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed and to reassure me that I was well on my way to the wedding of my dreams. They went above and beyond, stepping in to help with the setup of decorations and last minute things I had forgotten to do (I mentioned to Evan as my dad and I started walking down the aisle that I had forgotten to have someone put out the grooms cake and he took care of it during the ceremony!). Even when we had to delay the start time of the ceremony due to traffic, they were reassuring and helped redo the timeline with all of our other vendors so that the ceremony and reception went off without anyone knowing that we hadn't started on time.It's weird to say this about a vendor, but I miss them. They were such an important part of my life for the months leading up to my wedding and now I have no reason to see them anymore. It's a testament to how much they pour into their couples and how much of themselves they invested in their couples!

I absolutely loved the Pavilion Event Space. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Kacie was extremely helpful and available leading up to the wedding and went above and beyond on our anticipated rainy wedding day to make sure The Grove was dry and ready for guests when they arrived. She always had an answer to any of our questions and answered many of them before I even thought of them! We went through them for our bartender and & loved Evan! He gave us tons of advice how, when, and where to buy such large quantities of booze. DJ Termini gave us great suggestions for songs during special dances and played bangin’ hits all night. All the staff was so welcoming and made our big day completely effortless. 10/10 would recommend and hang out with all of them again.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Pavilion Event Space and it was beyond what we had hoped it would be. When we walked into The Pavilion, we fell in love. It is absolutely stunning on the inside, with amazing antiqued ceiling, and so many beautiful chandeliers. The outdoor space is absolutely breath taking during the day, and also at night. It allowed for so many awesome photo opportunities. Kacie is the owner, and takes so much pride in her work, and works so well with all of my vendors. She literally has everything down to a science; she knows what works and what doesn’t, what looks good/bad. At The Pavilion, there are a variety of décor options, to choose from that come with the package, which made the centerpieces so beautiful and easy. The Pavilion is pristine and drop dead gorgeous. My husband and I and my family were treated like we were the most important guests that The Pavilion has ever had. Kacie was our coordinator, and she made the entire wedding planning a breeze! She makes you feel like family, and makes your wedding day go perfectly. And not just Kacie was great, but every person of their staff that we worked with was wonderful.We opted not to have a wedding coordinator, and not once did I question if anything would be just as we thought it would have thanks to Kacie and her team. The staff did EVERYTHING I asked to make my wedding a fantastic event. She worked with us down to every detail and it was exactly how we had pictured it when we showed up the day of.Besides the amazing coordinating and staff, the DJ was amazing. Andrew Termini “DJ Termini” kept our dance floor packed the whole night, in fact, we never wanted to leave. He kept the flow of the wedding so smooth. He really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and what you want for your wedding day. Looking back at our pictures, the space not only accommodated our wedding and reception, but also photographed perfectly and made for the best background for our forever pictures.Thank you again to Kacie and her Pavilion Event Space team for all that you did to make our dream special day a reality.

The beauty of the Pavilion is unmatched. Both the Grove wedding ceremony space and the ballroom marvel in comparison to all of the other venues we visited in our search of finding the perfect place to hold our ceremony and reception. Overall, the staff was pleasant to work with and very helpful. My only complaints were 1)the responses for requests for changes and 2)the DJ. It seemed like there was push back from the owner whenever we wanted to make changes to accommodate our specific wants for our special day, including using our own DJ and making changes to the layout that would better accommodate our guests. At times, it came off as rudeness and was not very pleasant. Since the Pavilion includes the price of their DJ in the cost and we were going to have to pay for him regardless, we thought it would be best to use him rather than spending additional money for another one. We spoke with the DJ prior to our wedding as it seemed that he was not familiar with our preferred music choices. He assured us that he would \"meet and exceed our expectations\" during the reception. While he was very nice, a lot of fun when it came time to do the tosses, willing to do whatever we requested with the music, and pleasant to work with, it was clear at the reception that he wasn't very familiar with our desired music genres. Looking back, I would have eaten the cost and hired a DJ of our choice just to have more of our desired music played.

If you are looking for a venue you must see the Pavilion in person. The pictures do not due it justice. BUT the main attraction at the Pavilion is Kacie and her entire team. Kacie and Evan (the bartender) were professional and delightful. Kacie's organizational skills are beyond belief. Evan was on top of all the guests needs. Our guests enjoyed him immensely. He made everyone feel good. Kacie noticed little things before we did and corrections were made before anyone knew (our timing issues.) Everything was on time and flowed seamlessly. The evening as a delight for everyone. We cannot say enough good things about Kacie, Evan and the entire staff who worked with us from beginning to end to make the day a success and memorable. Who would have thought a wedding day could be so stress free!!!!

I cannot say enough great things about this venue! Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but the staff is incredible! My wedding went so smoothly and everything was perfect! Kacie (the owner and day-of coordinator) made sure everything went off without a hitch. The price includes the in-house DJ who will MC your event, and you can choose to use their bartenders, who were phenomenal! I got so many compliments on everything! They truly made my wedding day stress-free and I could not imagine a better place to get married! I highly, highly recommend it!

This is the most amazing place with hardest working staff you will ever meet. It is beautiful without decorations. It is super clean, with a large serving kitchen. Very comfortable for guests and lots of parking. Kacie is super organized and very helpful. Our bartender, Evan Culp, went above and beyond in taking care of our guests and helping us with many other serving issues that arose throughout the night. I guarantee you cannot find anyone better to work with than Evan and Kacie, even if you pay a bunch more money. Their work ethic is rare, and their kindness and professionalism impressive. Thank you for everything!!

marshmallow peachescarnitas Cannot explain how excellent our experience was with this venue! We had a last minute wedding with 2 months to plan everything and Lauren helped us every step of the way! Lauren & Leah were an amazing help come our wedding day! They worked the bar for our reception and our cater ended up leaving early without cutting the cake and Leah just hopped on there and started to cut it for us! Can't describe how grateful I am to both of them! The space itself is absolutely beautiful so we didn't do much for decorations besides centerpieces. They have an abundance of choices of a variety of things to help personalize your day and help make your vision a reality! You truly cannot go wrong with having the wedding of you dreams here, like I did :)

The venue is breathtaking, all our guest kept saying how gorgeous it was. We loved that because it was so beautiful we didn't have to spend any money covering up any unsightly aspects.Kacy and her staff made us feel welcomed and they were so calm and were always willing to answer any questions. There was a snafu on the day of, but it was a communication issue on our end not theirs and they went the extra mile and fixed it for us. I loved how excited they were whenever we met and told them a new detail we were having. Their excitement for us, helped us stay excited!Evan, the bartender, was AMAZING!! He helped create a signature drink and made us feel like royalty the day of. He also gave use really good numbers for the amount of alcohol to purchase, so there was no guessing on our end.They are LGBT friendly. I would absolutely use them again for a big event! They made us feel like rockstars on our day and I can't thank them enough!

There simply aren’t enough stars to rate the Pavilion Event Space! My daughter first fell in love with the photos on-line, and then we discovered it was even more beautiful in person. It has an elegant and comfortable, spacious feel, lovely entrance, darling bridal room, great sound system and offers endless layout options! Kacie (the owner) and Leah were absolutely wonderful to work with - consistently approachable, friendly, responsive, flexible and professional from beginning to end! Kacie even surprised me with a personalized sign to reserve my chosen seat at my table! When I mentioned one guest was sensitive to an overhead fan, voila! it was turned off above that table in an instant. Evan (the bartender who works closely with them) stayed in regular contact as the event day approached, advised us on our liquor purchases and quantities and even offered customized drinks. Afterwards, one guest made a point of telling me how special he made them feel. Our chosen caterer, PB&J (again, recommended by them) set up a variety of food stations offering beautiful display and delicious food served by an efficient and friendly staff. Thanks to this fabulous event space and great team of professionals, my daughter’s reception was one to be remembered and cherished for a lifetime! Thank you, Kacie, for making our vision a dream come true!

If you are looking for the PERFECT wedding Venue…THIS IS IT!!! Where to even start—when our daughter got engaged back in February 2016 we started searching for a Venue. At first, we didn’t even think about the Pavilion because we had been in there in the past, even had used the smaller room for a baby shower and didn’t think it was what we were looking for. But when searching the net we came across The Pavilion website and saw in was under new ownership and the pictures were like wow can this be the same place. Well we one day we were attending a bridal show somewhere else and decided we wanted to check out the Pavilion. We called ahead and they said, sure come on over and check us out. So we headed to the Pavilion and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. The Venue was Amazing!! My daughter and her Fiancée loved it, so we checked availability and they chose a Saturday in May 2017. The next few months we got rolling with lots of ideas, but had lots of question that kept coming up. Kacie was always there for us with answers, I emailed, called and stopped by several times and she was always so helpful and always so NICE! Kacie and her staff are truly there for you every step of the way. NOW On to EVAN… We chose to use the bartending services the Pavilion offered after meeting Evan. Once again we were not disappointed!! My daughter wanted two signature drinks to match the colors of the wedding, one pink and one green. Evan came up with 2 amazing drinks, the Tropical Haven and the Mojitos. He also always made himself available for questions…Even made himself available through text, when it got close and I had questions on my shopping list for the Bar. Evan was AWESOME and we would hire him again without question. If ever we are need of bar services again; Evan will be who we will call!!!! There is one more person that I need to mention and that is Lauren. Lauren was at our rehearsal to make sure all of our needs were met as well as at our Wedding/Reception last Saturday, she also was Amazing!!! Make sure you check out the new outdoor area, it makes for some beautiful photos. I could go on and on how great the Pavilion was, but I’ll just end with saying our daughter’s wedding last Saturday May 13th,2017 was AMAZING!!!! Thank you Kacie-Evan and Lauren.

The Pavilion was the location of our wedding back in October. The place looks phenomenal since it has been renovated and we had several guests comment on its beauty. It is also very spacious, still looking large after housing nearly 300 people. The staff were great and always eager to help along the way, keeping professionalism the entire time. My daughter was married at The Pavilion Event Space November 4, 2016. We had the ceremony, reception/dance all in one location with approximately 105 attending. The venue was spectacular. All of our family and friends couldn’t believe how gorgeous everything was decorated. We did pay for additional items such as the logo on the wall, the crystal candelabras for the head table and gift table, upgraded white crushed taffeta table cloths, uplighting in royal blue, additional time in the venue for hair/makeup and rehearsal time the night before. We did not do a “flip” with the ceremony chairs as we had just enough room for everything to leave it was it was setup. Kacie (the owner) and Leah plus the rest of their staff did an awesome job of setting up everything as we wanted it. Both Kacie and Leah were there the day of the wedding to help with issues as they came up. Leah was the “day of coordinator” for us making sure everyone was in their place for the ceremony etc. They also worked with our vendors before and the day of the wedding.Enough can’t be said for the venue, the staff, and our overall experience. We just received our preliminary photos from the wedding and the venue just added to the entire ambiance of the wedding and reception. I would highly recommend this event venue for any wedding or event.

There are not enough good things to say about this venue and the people who run it! We just got married in October and they were amazing! The bartender is on point, they help you keep your night running on time. As the bride I made it clear I wanted to be on time.....their coordinator would periodically check in and make sure things were still running smoothly and if they aren't she is right there to fix anything as needed. This is a very fun venue to have a party at tons of open space and beautifully remodeled I would recommend this place for any event to anyone!

There are not enough good things that can be said about The Pavillion Event Space!!!! They were amazing to work with!!! Our kids had a non traditional theme (Vintage Carnival ) and the whole crew at The Pavilion Event Space were so accommodating to our different requests......they took a some what stressful day and made it stress free and very memorable! The facilities are beautiful and make the transition of the day a breeze! If you are looking for a GREAT Space and AWESOME Group of People to work with then The Pavilion Event Space is for you!!!!!

My wedding was this past Saturday and it was incredible day and I couldn't have done it without Kacie and her wonderful team at the Pavilion Event Center off of 40 hwy. They took care of everything for me. I didn't have to worry about setting up or tearing down. She kept the night on track and personally stayed to help me pack my items up to take home. She did a great job working with all my vendors I was allowed to choose and bring in! Best decision everThank you for making my day the best a girl could dream of!

This is THE venue to hold your wedding, party or any event. We were just married at the Pavilion Event Space two weeks ago and we are still receiving compliments from our guests. We were blown away the minute we walked into the door before our first planing meeting. The staff was very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable without being overbearing. They have an excellent list of vendors for everything you will need from caterer to Dj and even bartenders. Kasey and her staff has it covered. They allow you to have as many or as few meetings as you want in order to make sure everything is perfect!

How do I begin to describe the Pavilion Event Space? The space has been beautifully renovated and we knew the second we stepped in we'd be saying \"I do\" here. The grand ballroom comfortably accommodated our 250 guests and even has the perfect bridal suite, you'll feel like a queen! Kacie, the owner, could not have been sweeter. She quickly responds to all requests and her staff doesn't skip a beat. Save yourself the time and just book this space, you'll be glad you did!

They were always responsive and made sure everything was perfect on our big day--they even helped coordinate between our caterer and our DJ who would of played the wrong processional track had the Event coordinator not caught it just ahead of time. I just wanted to tell you how wonderful we thought everything went for Alli and Grant’s wedding reception on August 12th. Kacie, you and your staff were outstanding through the whole experience, helping us each step of the way… even right down to the stabilization of the cake stand for our wedding cake gal! Thank you so much for everything! We had a little snafu with the table numbers getting mixed up (our fault) and you so graciously even worked that out exceptionally. Many people commented on how beautiful the place was. Just everything exceeded our expectations and we thank you for stepping in and helping out even with the smallest needs we had. You are the best and I highly recommend you over all the venues we’ve used in this city.
