The Pearl is located in the heart of one of San Francisco's most historical and culturally rich neighborhoods, Dogpatch. Designed with both form and function, The Pearl is partnered with some of the Bay Area’s top industry players to offer guests in-house versatility that goes beyond the expectations of any private venue. Complete with state-of-the-art lighting and audiovisual capabilities, gorgeous rooftop views of The Bay, and permanent art installations by Alexis Laurent, the 9,000+ square foot space is an industrial charm waiting to be transformed by your wedding vision. Accommodating up to 700 guests, The Pearl has a main floor, mezzanine, rooftop, catering kitchen, and a top notch in-house bar program featuring the finest selections of local beer, wine, and premium spirits.

Wedding Date 25-01-2020
This space was the perfect venue for my wedding reception. From the moment I stepped through those double doors into the open space, I knew this was THE ONE. Carrie and Alex were both so kind, generous, and accommodating. They made our experience as smooth as possible. It was perfect and we got raving comments about it from all our guests! If I were to throw another wedding reception again (which unfortunately won't happen, ha!) I would definitely be a repeat customer!! It's everything that we could have asked for in a space.

This space was the perfect venue for my wedding reception. From the moment I stepped through those double doors into the open space, I knew this was THE ONE. Carrie and Alex were both so kind, generous, and accommodating. They made our experience as smooth as possible. It was perfect and we got raving comments about it from all our guests! If I were to throw another wedding reception again (which unfortunately won't happen, ha!) I would definitely be a repeat customer!! It's everything that we could have asked for in a space.

We had a very bad experience with the Pearl. We had to cancel our engagement party due to COVID (was scheduled for March 2020). Initially the Pearl intended to keep ALL of our money, including open bar payment and site fee. The GM was also very rude to us on the phone, telling us we were selfish for asking for money back. Their contract had a force majuere clause which several lawyers advised me would warrant the return of our money, especially as the delay dragged on beyond 1.5 years. We ultimately had to take them to small claims to receive a refund. At small claims the judge mentioned that The Pearl had been there several times with other clients already. Small claims forced the issuance of a refund of 50% of the site fee and 50% in credit which we could transfer to another party. However, the Pearl managed to block this too when I found someone to transfer to. I could have taken it back to the judge but at this point, I just want to wash my hands of them and the whole affair. There were a lot of vendors who were honest, fair and kind during COVID but The Pearl wasn't one of them. Additionally, a friend of mine who runs a event space rental site told me they dropped The Pearl (pre COVID) from their vendor list because of bad consumer business practices.

The Pearl was the PERFECT place for our wedding ceremony and reception! When my husband and I did a tour here, we immediately knew this was the venue for us and we are so elated that we chose The Pearl. We loved the modern/industrial design as well as the open space. The tree also stood out to us as we had seen photos of it online. Another thing that stood out to us was the entire buyout. We thought that would be great for our guests to mingle and explore without feeling constricted to one area/floor.Our guests loved the venue as well and pictures just don't do it justice. The weather was perfect during our civil ceremony on the rooftop and the view was beautiful. There was also a lot to see on the mezzanine and main levels (great artwork and view of the main floor). We received many compliments about The Pearl and its wonderful staff. Everyone had an awesome time!Due to the pandemic, our wedding was cancelled in 2020 and we needed to postpone our celebration. Throughout the booking and planning process, we worked with Carrie and are so thankful we met her! She was patient, flexible, and understanding as we were trying to get everything in order. Whenever we had questions or concerns, she was an email/phone call away (with a great response time) and always calmed our nerves.During the planning process, we also worked with Alex and he was great! He was positive and helpful, as well as patient and flexible. Since our wedding was close to the June 15th reopening date, Alex regularly kept us up-to-date with what our wedding would look like and what guidelines we'd be following. This was super helpful as we were all trying to navigate the unknown.It was a pleasure to work with Carrie and Alex at The Pearl and we absolutely loved our entire experience!

The Pearl was the most expensive venue we looked at, but our favorite by far because of the rooftop ceremony area and lots of natural light inside. There is a lot of great art on the interior walls as well, including the huge “tree” on one wall. It ended up being a great choice for COVID safety because we were able to hold the entire event outdoors on the rooftop. The rental includes a variety of tables, chairs, rooftop umbrellas, and other items. Sales manager Carrie Galles is terrific and was a joy to work with, even through all the COVID-related changes. I would highly recommend having your wedding here!

The Pearl was the perfect venue for our wedding! It was the first place we toured and we knew we'd pick it as soon as we stepped inside. The open layout, high ceilings, mezzanine, and rooftop really stood out to us. From just looking at the photos, I thought the tree might be an issue but when we visited in person, we ended up liking it because it blends into the space. Carrie & Alex were wonderful to work with and made the process much easier and stress-free. They were very responsive, super helpful, and accommodating to our requests. 10/10 would recommend this venue!

I love The Pearl! It's one of my favorite venues to work at in San Francisco because the team there is awesome! They are easy to work with and treat my clients very well. I highly recommned this wedding venue if you're looking to get marred in San Francisco!

We had a terrific experience working with the Pearl. In particular we were very happy with our options for the bar and how flexible they were willing to be to provide us with the experience we wanted. Plus the venue itself is stunning, and provided a wonderful setting for our event.

Being a wedding planner, few things are as important as a solid team at your client's wedding venue. Alex + Carrie are absolutely fabulous to work with. They have great response times and always take the time to ensure we understand all of their details. We couldn't have had such a successful wedding without them!

We just had our wedding at The Pearl and couldn't be happier! From the moment we walked into The Pearl, we knew it was the perfect wedding venue for us. It fit all of our needs for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The venue is absolutely beautiful and doesn't require many decorative additions. Carrie is absolutely amazing - she's responsive, helpful and goes out of her way to make sure everything is just as you want it. From the decor to the staff, everything was perfect. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing our venue was.....we're so sad it's already over.
