The Pine Tree Barn is a charming venue situated on 20 acres of pastoral land in rural Genesee County, MI. This rustic barn is constructed using white oak and pine with cedar siding. Invite your guests to join in your celebration in this warm and welcoming environment nestled in the heart of nature. With multiple ceremony sites on the property, you and your spouse can choose the perfect place to exchange vows, set to backdrops of rich greenery and unforgettable views. Whatever your style, this venue can be tailored to host a day that reflects you and your unique love story. Say "I do" in one of the various ceremony sites the property boasts, taking in the tranquil pond or magnificent trees surrounding you. Perched on this sprawling land, the rustic barn has an inside area of 4,000 square feet that can accommodate parties of up to 200 attendees. The climate-controlled space is ideal for hosting celebrations year-round and is wheelchair accessible. With high-beamed ceilings and elegant chandelier lighting fixtures, the space presents an enchanting atmosphere for an evening of dining and dancing. Parking is available for those arriving by car, with attendants on hand to provide assistance upon arrival. The Pine Tree Barn team strives to make your wedding experience as seamless as possible. They offer various packages from single day to full weekend rental for your event. You are welcome to bring in vendors of your choice to service the big day as you please, with recommendations available from the venue team if desired. Onsite chefs can provide catering for your day with customizable plans to suit your needs. If you would prefer, you may also avail of a caterer of your choice who is welcome to add finishing touches to your meal in the venue's staging kitchen. The Pine Tree Barn was the first and only venue that we saw before booking it for our wedding. My wife and I got married there in October. The property was absolutely gorgeous with the fall colors and stunning barn. We had our ceremony in the trees and it was breathtakingly beautiful with the string lights and white chairs. They just recently renovated the bathrooms, added extra lighting around the property and added a back patio space that we used for our cocktail hour. The venue owner Jen is absolutely amazing. She was so great at communicating with us with our loads of questions and keeping us up to date with multiple check-ins. She had tons of layouts for us to choose from for the reception space and was super helpful when it came to finalizing the layout. The Pine Tree Barn is a very beautiful place to host your wedding and Jen makes it so easy to plan an event. We would book there again in a heartbeat.

First of all- Pine Tree Barn was our dream wedding under the pines. It was absolutely breathtaking. It snowed on our wedding day, and although it was cold… it was magical. Jen (the owner/venue coordinator) was great to work with. She was kind, flexible, accommodating and great with communication. She was also detail oriented, making sure we had all the things we needed while offering her own ideas as well. She was even there wedding day helping us and the bartender out! Wouldn’t have picked any other venue. We were so pleased! You should definitely get married here 🥰

Choosing The Pine Tree Barn as our venue for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Working with them was so easy and they were always so responsive to any questions that we had. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect and the venue is so beautiful. Honestly you do not need many decorations as the venue and surrounding trees and landscape speak for themselves. We received so many compliments on this venue and our wedding and we couldn't picture having the wedding anywhere else!

Choosing The Pine Tree Barn as our venue for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Working with them was so easy and they were always so responsive to any questions that we had. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect and the venue is so beautiful. Honestly you do not need many decorations as the venue and surrounding trees and landscape speak for themselves. We received so many compliments on this venue and our wedding and we couldn't picture having the wedding anywhere else!

I could not recommend this venue enough to anyone! Jen, the owner of the barn, was very responsive and helpful from start to finish. We couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding, first off Jen is absolutely amazing, she's quick to answer any questions & was extremely helpful & flexible with rescheduling (being one of many covid postponements). We had the final call on when everything would start as well as the final call on where the ceremony was held in the event of bad weather; which was a big selling point for me. The venue itself is just perfect, from the wooden beams & chandeliers to the pine tree filled woods surrounding it. We got so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was & how magical it felt there. I highly recommend them for your wedding or event, you won't regret it!

The Pine Tree Barn is SO beautiful. I got married here in June of 2021. Jen (the owner) is SO nice and helpful. Even with covid, she was always quick to respond and help you with anything you need. The space is very DIY. They supply the tables and chairs and you are free to do the rest! The weather was an absolute disaster on our wedding day (literally had tornado warnings at the wedding), but Jen made sure that everything was as perfect as it could be. She went out of her way to do anything we needed. Sadly, the ceremony space outside was completely flooded, therefore we had to get married inside. The guests sat at their dinner seats for the ceremony. It all worked out in the end and I could not have imaged getting married anywhere else!!

I would give zero if I could. We had a deposit for this past June. Put a deposit down. Of course with COVID we couldn’t have it there.. well with 50 ppl but why pay that kind of money for a venue for only 50... anyway they offered to reschedule.. for a Tuesday or Thursday in December?!? Yeah no thanks. Their communication was horrible and of course... they kept the deposit. So know, if you do decide use them and covid shut downs happen, they don’t care and will not return the deposit. Use any other venue but them.

We just had our wedding here and it was a real life fairytale! Everything was gorgeous, the price was very reasonable, and the owners were wonderful! Very accommodating for changes and last minute questions. I’m so glad we found this venue. It’s a diamond in the rough!

My husband and I really wanted a forrest wedding without having to make guests do a destination wedding, or to the west side of the state. We were lucky enough to find Jen and The Pine Tree Barn, because its everything we wanted and then some. The ceremony sites, the reception area, the building, the light fixtures, the fire place, the bathrooms, the surrounding land, literally everything is stunning and meticulously clean/planned. It's not a huge venue but is perfect for weddings of 180 or less. It is the definition of intimate and romantic. Now after doting on the venue, I need to talk about Jen. Jen is a saint. Honestly. She makes the process beyond easy. She is so so so responsive, helpful, professional, hardworking, kind, and easy going. I never had doubts about our wedding, and a large part of that is due to Jen. Our venue was the first thing we booked, and because of that a lot of the decor and other vendors were picked around that. Jen helped me every step of the way, with all the crazy questions/request I had. She went above and beyond times a million. Besides the barn, Jen works full time, and has a beautiful family. She is a super woman. I don't know how she does it all with so much patience and kindness. Our wedding unfortunately had a couple of hiccups but instead of making me worry about that, Jen reassured me that everything would be ok. Many other vendors might have done differently and that in itself was a gift. I was able to truly relax and enjoy the night.I will forever be grateful for finding the barn, and will have the most beautiful pictures/videos to look back on forever. Thank you Jen and family for absolutely everything.

The venue is very gorgeous. The inside reception area was pretty snug with our 175 people guest list, therefore more could make it very stuffy. The lights outside made the night even more beautiful. The trees were a great backdrop for the ceremony and photos!
