We got married at The Pines last month and it was everything we could have hoped for. We toured the place last year and knew right away it was the right choice for us. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Stephanie, our coordinator, was super transparent and gave us a ton of detail up front about the pricing. She was fantastic through the whole planning process with promptly answering any questions we had. On the day of, she was so professional and made sure things ran perfectly. Seriously couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. I also want to give a a shout out to the other onsite staff on the wedding day - everyone was unbelievably nice and made sure the event went off without a hitch. This place really knows what they're doing.Full disclosure, we booked the venue prior to the transition in management from The Pines at Genesee to The Pines by Wedgewood Weddings that took place Aug 1, 2023. When we booked, the prior management team did not have a liquor license so our contract stated that we would supply the alcohol. This was actually a huge selling point for us due to money saving. Initially it was hugely disappointing to find out that we'd have to choose a bar package through Wedgewood due to them getting a liquor license because it was going to cost us a lot more. However, I'm rating 5 stars because Connor, the Wedgewood General Manager, was very understanding and worked with us on the pricing. They ended up cutting us a significant deal. I understand this probably won't be the same experience for others going forward, but it says a lot about their integrity as a company!

Our wedding was everything we had hoped for! We selected The Pines for our venue because of how beautiful the venue is. The outdoor ceremony spaces are so pretty that we didn't use any decor, and left it as is. We used the upper/Evergreen terrace. The same can be said for the indoor reception spaces, and we used the lower level. We rented the venue's centerpieces which were these beautiful, rustic lanterns with greenery. This made things so much easier vs paying for floral arrangements or doing something ourselves. The rustic look of the space is complimented by newer beautiful wooden tables and chairs that don't need tablecloths. Everyone we worked with at the venue was amazing! Our coordinator Ashley Shade was awesome every single step of the way and made things SO easy for us. When the venue changed ownership from The Pines at Genesee and became The Pines by Wedgewood, both Ashley and the Wedgewood reps contacted us and put our minds at ease. The Wedgewood rep scheduled a Zoom call with us right away and addressed any concerns we had. Everything stayed exactly the same with respect to our wedding, with the added bonus of new ownership obtaining a liquor license, so we would no longer have to provide our own alcohol, which was fantastic. When our coordinator Ashley left the venue about a month prior to our wedding, the new general manager, Connor Swanson took over and coordinated on the day along with Stephanie. They were both amazing on the day of our wedding, so friendly, and took care of every little thing - things I wouldn't have even thought of. Our wedding went off without a hitch and was beautiful. All catering staff were super friendly as well. At the end of the night the venue staff even brought our bags out to our car, packed some of our wedding cake up for us, and even surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine. I can't say a single negative or constructive thing about the venue and staff. Everything was wonderful, and it made for such a special day for us.

This Venue was so great and Allison was extremely helpful. The venue was bought out by Wedgewood a couple months before our wedding but the transition was so smooth we didn’t notice. The only hiccup was they were messing with the sound system the day of our event which caused a lot of problems for the DJ, including being unable to take any requests. Otherwise a beautiful venue, amazing food, and very good planning help overall.

Our daughter's wedding was at the Pines in July. Stephanie was our coordinator and went above and beyond in every way! Her responsiveness and genuine caring about every detail shined through! The venue was beautiful and the staff was fantastic. Everyone had an amazing experience and everything flowed so smoothly from the planning to the rehearsal and most especially on the day of the wedding. They ensured that the vision of the bride and groom played out perfectly and worked so well with all of the vendors. Highly recommend this venue to anyone!

My husband and I had our wedding in early August at The Pines. This venue is a fantastic balance of Rocky Mountain foothills with easy accessibility from Denver (15 minute uber ride from Golden). We selected it for the forested outdoor ceremony space, spacious and modern indoor reception space, location, and relative value. All of these elements were great. Furthermore, we loved Allyson as our coordinator. Downsides, albeit minor, of this venue were the limited food tasting options, food quality, limited options in alcohol through Wedgewood, and some rigidity in the day-of timeline. Overall, we had a beautiful, well-executed wedding and this venue played a big part - we would recommend it to a friend. Note: the Pines changed management on Aug 1, 2023 from The Pines at Genesee to The Pines by Wedgewood Weddings. As a result, our experience was a combination of the two management structures.

My husband and I wanted our wedding to be in the mountains, but also close enough to the airport for out-of-state guests. This location was not only perfect for its location to the airport, but also full filled our needs and wants. Lauren was our coordinator throughout the process and for the day of our wedding. She was always responsive to our questions and had a great attitude. She was very flexible and communicated well throughout our wedding day. I never felt left in the dark, but also not overwhelmed with too much information. We were thrilled to have her! We chose the Bistro Buffet and the food was excellent. The staff even made sure we had a plate and time to enjoy the meal. During the wedding planning, I found out that the venue, the Pines, is also well-known around Golden with lots of our vendors already working frequently with them and speaking highly of the location and staff. Overall, the Pines made our wedding day perfect and I am so grateful we chose them for our special day!

This venue was absolutely gorgeous and the staff just made it that much better. Everyone was amazing I don't think there was a moment my glass was empty and the servers brought my husband and I food exactly when we needed it. The coordinator we worked with was Stephanie and she was just simply amazing and helped me plan all of those details you didn't know you needed to plan. The evening was just perfect there's no other way to describe it.

I can’t say enough good things about The Pines at Genesee!! We got married this past Spring and despite a huge snow storm only 4 days before the wedding we were able to have our ceremony outside on the Evergreen Terrace! This was possible due to the amazing staff working diligently to clear the snow! Stephanie was so wonderful to work with!! She was kind, professional and extremely patient! She went above and beyond for us!! The venue itself is so beautiful and affordable. I had a tight budget to work with and they were great at staying within it! The food was super delicious!! I had several guests tell me that the food was the best they have had at a wedding! I would highly recommend you call and reserve your wedding date with The Pines at Genesee!! You won’t be disappointed!!

I highly recommend The Pines at Genessee for your wedding! It's a lovely venue conveniently located near Denver, and the prices are reasonable with lots of flexibility to spend in some areas and save in others. The food was absolutely delicious, even when served to a large crowd! But the most outstanding feature is the staff - from Stephanie the coordinator who is top-notch, to the servers and bartenders, every single person went above and beyond to make my daughter's wedding lovely! The Pines was such a lovely venue and the service we experienced was excellent. The views were STUNNING, the food was delicious, and the staff members were very kind and accommodating. It was truly our dream wedding and I could not have asked for a better experience. The close proximity to Denver makes it easy for guests flying in from out of state to travel to the venue while still maintaining a magical mountain/forest vibe. The only downside we experienced was the tight timeline and feeling rushed to set everything up (you can only arrive at the venue 1.5 hrs before the ceremony begins). Thank you to everyone at the Pines who made our day so beautiful and special!

My wife (still getting used to that) and I got married at the Pines at Genesee on June 17, 2023. We held our outdoor ceremony on their upper terrace and our reception was held on the upstairs level of the venue. I was honestly split on which of their 2 outdoor ceremony spots to use and it was a tough call between the upstairs and downstairs reception location. You can't go wrong either way. Even though another wedding took place that overlapped with ours (they started 90 minutes later), I totally forgot anyone but our guests were on the property and we never saw them. We were lucky with exceptionally beautiful weather, but the rest of the day we can thank the staff at the Pines. In the venue price, a Day-of-Coordinator is provided and Lauren did an AMAZING job for us. In the months leading up to our day, she made sure all of the details were locked in place and that we kept on track with our responsibilities. On the day of the wedding, Lauren made it so easy for us by taking care of both the large and small details (down to bringing us our food and knowing what we wanted from the bar so we could spend more time with each other or with guests). Everyone told us how the entire staff was pleasant and on top of the meal service and bar orders. That attention to detail meant that me and my better half simple got to enjoy our day!Some additional details you may find useful if considering the Pines:- We opted to add an extra hour to our reception time and that was well worth it as people kept dancing until the end. It was $500 extra for that hour and that was in line or better than most other places.- the food here is top notch! Even if we did not choose this venue, we were planning to use them as a caterer elsewhere. Don't miss the pistachio bread, random I know, but AMAZING!- There is not a ton of options for uber/lyft when leaving the venue as the location is a little bit outside the main town. We used a shuttle service with 15 passenger vans and it worked out great since we also had an open bar and then a late night after party in downtown Golden.- If you are doing a first look, there are some great parks and other locations nearby. We used an area with a bridge over running water, surrounded by a bit of forest at Keys on the Green.Thank you so much to The Pines and to all the staff and especially to Lauren for helping with our amazing day!

This venue is the perfect compromise to get a stunning mountain location without the hassle of dragging all your guests to the actual mountains (and altitude). Obviously the grounds and facilities speak for themselves, but the staff at The Pines are unbeatable! Vivian was an amazing planner from start to finish, always so helpful and knowledgeable, and the day-of staff was incredibly kind and energetic! They really have the planning process honed in and have an answer for everything. They also have an incredible list of preferred vendors and we had great experiences with everyone we used. This venue strikes a unique balance of offering so many things you may need or want, without forcing you into an all-or-nothing package. We really appreciated some of the ala carte provisions (like glass cylinders for the tables that the florist used). But just look at the ceremony sites and you’ll be sold – so beautiful!!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Pines. Our day of coordinator Stephanie was amazing. She calmed my nerves when I cried about the rain and brought me a cocktail. I don’t know what I would have done without her! She even saved me when my sister/bridesmaid couldn’t remember how to do my bustle. The staff was all so friendly and helpful. Our food was delicious and our guests agreed. We found the prices very reasonable when compared to other venues we toured. I highly recommend this venue!

My Husband and I got married at the pines in May. It was honestly the first venue we looked at and after touring the facility we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. We had our ceremony on the upper terrace and our reception on the upper level inside. The venue location was great and made for a beautiful background during the ceremony and reception. The service leading up to our wedding, and on our wedding day was incredible. Lauren was our coordinator, she was easy to get a hold of, and was absolutely amazing at making sure our day ran smoothly. I literally had to worry about nothing the day of, she took care of everything. We got so many compliments from our guests on how great the food and service was. All of the staff working were friendly and extremely attentive to us and our guests.

I would recommend the Pines to anyone who is looking for a great atmosphere, a wonderful team, and a fantastic dinner/lunch etc. (also if you are thinking about doing breakfast for dinner DO IT!)And not to mention we had deer and elk visit us after the ceremony!

This venue is absolutely incredible. My favourite thing about it was the customer service. Lauren, our day of coordinator, went above and beyond. I am a naturally anxious person and she helped me stay calm by ensuring everything ran smoothly. Even on the day of the wedding, she helped resolved minor issues caused by my forgetfulness. The bar and servers were also excellent. Our guests reported the food was delicious, especially the salmon and vegetarian ravioli. The kitchen was extremely accommodating to guests with highly restrictive dietary needs. We also saved so much money and had a good selection of alcohol because they allow you to buy your own from a liquor store. In fact, everything was very reasonably priced and customizable. They also provided a list of preferred vendors which made planning easier. The final thing I loved about this venue was the views. It's close enough to be easily accessible from Denver and Golden but provides lovely mountain vistas without high altitude. Both ceremony sites are also gorgeous. This was the perfect venue for the perfect day. Thank you to all of the staff!

Picking a venue is no small choice, and we are BEYOND HAPPY that we picked The Pines. Everyone was so kind to us throughout the entire process. Our coordinator worked with us remotely for our first few meetings as we don't live near the venue. When we arrived in person, it was like we'd been talking in person the entire time. The Pines is also a really inclusive venue. The catering is handled in-house, which makes things super easy. And the food was really good. We picked the fajitas buffet, which was perfect as we had so many folks who needed dietary accommodations. With the buffet, everyone could pick what they needed and it fit vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut and dairy allergies. The kitchen was also super accommodating of any other allergies as well. We also loved that the venue has partnerships with a lot of other vendors. Our photographer, baker, and DJ were all recommended by the venue. Because they have a partnership, we were able to get great deals with our other vendors, making it more affordable than if we hired them separately. They also allow bringing in your own alcohol, and the servers are included in the cost of catering. We also just loved the ceremony and reception spaces. The ceremony spaces are so beautiful, with the trees and string lights. The reception space is large and can fit a lot of people. Even though the venue runs two weddings every day, you would never even notice the other group. It also really helps to cut down costs, which was perfect for a gorgeous venue.

The pines KILLED it for our wedding. Lauren was our coordinator and she was calm, cool, and collected while being diplomatic. She responded to my emails promptly and was easy to reach. An absolute pleasure to work with and I (the bride) trusted her fully and felt calm on the day-of our wedding to make sure everything was organized and vendors were present and set-up. The Pines Catering made the BEST food for our wedding - everyone was talking about how delicious it was. One of my guests was vegan, and the chef made a special meal for her. She said it was the best vegan meal she has ever had at a wedding... and she was a wedding coordinator for 4 years! I also can not say enough positive things about the bar staff. They set everything up beautifully and all my guests were raving about how fun and friendly they were. I wish I knew their names so I could give them a shout out! The venue itself is gorgeous. We had to bring in minimal decorations because both the ceremony terrace and the reception spaces are both beautiful. It's right off of I-70 which was awesome for all of our out-of-town guests, and still has a mountain feel without the drive or price tag. The staff overall was great too - incredibly helpful and communicative! Of all of the venues in the front range, we could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. It was the perfect space to celebrate with our people and we wish we could live it allll over again.

My husband and I are so grateful we chose to have our wedding at The Pines. The staff, especially our venue coordinator Ashley, we’re nothing short of amazing. They had great communication and helped our wedding day go off perfectly! Their catering is delicious and our lead caterer Jackie was very accommodating of the many allergies and food restrictions some of our guests had. If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with a mountain atmosphere and the convenience of being close to the city, The Pines is your choice!

I wish I could give The Pines at Genesee more than 5 stars!! My daughter's wedding ceremony and reception was absolutely perfect!! Lauren from The Piners of Genesee was such a wonderful on site coordinator. She made sure that everything ran smoothly and checked with us throughout the night to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The food was outstanding! And every member of the staff, the servers and the bartenders, could not of been nicer. We so highly recommend!!

I cannot begin to express how amazing this wedding venue is. From the ambiance of the ceremony to the friendliness of the staff to the ideal location. Having our wedding at the Pines was everything my wife and I had dreamed of and so much more! My wife and I are from MN and we always dreamed of getting married in the mountains. We found the Pines via the knot and are so glad we did. From the moment we picked our date all the way to the end of our wedding day, the Pines made everything seamless as possible. We worked with Ashley and Lauren throughout our planning process and they were wonderful. The rest of the staff was just as wonderful. The absolute best part is the location and the views it provides. We got married on the Evergreen Terrace and it was so beautiful. We had guests coming up to us afterwards saying that it was the most gorgeous wedding they've ever been a part of. There was another wedding that was two hours before ours, but as most people have commented, we never even noticed them. The food options are great and having the ability to provide your own alcohol provided a significant savings for us. I would HIGHLY recommend the Pines at Genesee to any couple looking to get married in the mountains of Colorado!

If you're looking for a beautiful venue, great staff, and lovely wedding day I highly recommend looking into the Pines. From the moment we did our tour of the venue to the time I left on my wedding day, the Pines staff made this process easy and enjoyable. The Pines isn't just beautiful but they offer a lot of choices and have a list of vendors that come highly recommended. They have two ceremony sites outside, two reception halls in the building, and different wedding packages to help keep cost affective. My husband and I decided to do the Evergreen Terrance and the down stairs reception hall. We were nervous since there was a wedding the same day as ours (started 2 hours after ours) and I wasn't sure if that would affect our day. I'm happy to say that it didn't. We barely noticed the other group and didn't hear them above us in the upstairs reception hall. With the wedding packages they combine choices of photography, dessert, up lighting, DJ, and photo booth if you want it. The vendors we chose from their list all did an amazing job, were very professional and responded to inquiries in a timely manner. Ashley who was our day of coordinator was amazing! She made sure I knew what was going on and where I needed to be. She also made sure my husband and I were able to eat on our wedding day! She, along with one of my friends, made sure the day ran smoothly and that I had nothing to worry about. I have heard horror stories about other peoples weddings but this venue and their recommended vendors honestly made my wedding day perfect and I couldn't have asked for more.

I got to have my dream wedding at the Pines! I would describe the Pines as a beautiful, mountain elegant venue that you do not have to drive too far down I-70 to access. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help in any way needed. Their in-house catering menu has something for everyone, and the food itself is delicious. In fact, several of our wedding guests shared that the food was the best out of any wedding they had attended. Plus, both of the ceremony sites are wooded and lovely, and the venue's surrounding views make for dramatic, outdoor photos. I am so glad that I found the Pines for my wedding. We had a difficult time at first looking for a venue and the Pines ended up being the perfect location for us. Vivian kept everything running smoothly and our wedding went off without a hitch! The Evergreen Terrace was the most beautiful location for our ceremony and the downstairs reception area was perfect for our crew of guests. The only recommendation would be ensuring the catering company has sterno instead of just placing hot food on tables. If you were a later table the food was cold. This may have been an outside vendor so still gave the location, inside and out a 10!

Lauren was our day of coordinator and she handled every detail big and small with tireless energy and enthusiasm! We had a very packed agenda and she made everything seem so flawless and fluid and took so much stress off of us on our big day. The food was the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. We did the Mediterranean style dinner and I can’t recommend it enough!! It was filling but perfectly light enough to still be ready to dance the night away after. And the staff was so sweet and kind to us, like they didn’t see weddings everyday. They made us feel so special!I wanted an enchanted forest theme and we knew from the moment we toured that it was the venue for us. It’s just far enough into the mountains that you get that authentic Colorado vibe without the hassle of driving to deep into the mountains.10/10 will ALWAYS recommend this venue to anyone that will listen!

I secretly looked this venue up a couple of months before my husband proposed, simply curious because we had been shopping for rings. The scenic photos alone drew me in and made it the first venue with which I scheduled a tour. Looking back, the scenery of the venue is one of the MANY reasons why I'm so thrilled that we chose to get married here! Firstly, anyone reading this review needs to understand how incredible Allyson was to work with. The Pines assigns you a \"day-of coordinator\" and we were lucky to fall into the extremely capable hands of Allyson. I can't imagine how stressful this whole process would have been without her-- seriously, during the entire planning process and wedding day, she was incredibly organized, concise, kind, no-fuss, and whatever adjective describes her having literally everything under control so that none of us had to worry at all. The venue itself was so beautiful. Our guests felt like they walked into a woodsy fairytale tucked in the Rockies. For a June wedding when it's quite warm in Denver, the temperature at the venue was so perfect since it is at 7,900ft elevation. Our photos were so beautiful-- we really had an awesome photographer-- but even photos taken on people's iPhones were beautiful because the location and setup were so pretty! From a logistical standpoint, The Pines was extremely affordable and reasonable for the excellence they provided. The food was absolutely frickin' delicious, the service and support were stupendous, and the location unmatched. Many of our guests were \"flatlanders\" from out of town so we were concerned about keeping the venue in a convenient location while still keeping the Colorado vibe that my husband and I moved here for, but The Pines was just that! It's an easy drive from any suburb in the Denver area, easy to get to right off of I-70 (and the views on the exit bridge over I-70, holy crap!), and a one-stop shop for a beautiful ceremony and fun reception. I've always dreamt of getting married among the trees, so for The Pines to provide that to people without sacrificing convenience makes the venue a step above the rest. If it isn't clear from the novel I've written above, I will forever be grateful for finding The Pines!

The Pines was SO easy to work with. We booked them about a year and a half before our date and they were able to answer any and all questions we had within a couple of hours and they were soooo accommodating to anything we wanted. Honestly was a little surprised due to how many weddings they host at how accommodating they were. Our venue coordinator was Ashley and she was AMAZING. Not only did she answer all of our questions she helped us find solutions and the day of was absolutely perfect because of all the work she put in and helped with. I am sure all the coordinators are great, but Ashley truly went above and beyond to help make the day perfect. Our only concern about booking here initially was that there could be two weddings at once. Our wedding night did have another wedding a couple of hours after ours and I did see people from the other party walking around our floor (we were on top). Everyone at the venue handled it really well and made sure to point them downstairs and it really was not an issue at all. I would recommend the Pines to anyone (especially Ashley!!) it was truly the best day and the best venue.

I can't say enough good things about this venue. If you're looking for an affordable venue with a mountain-feel, stunning views, really good food and the BEST staff, look no further. We have been working with the Pines for 2 years, as we booked this venue in 2020, but didn't get married until 2022 and so we have gotten to know their staff well. Everyone we worked with was incredibly kind and responsive. Stephanie Smith in particular is an angel. She is the nicest woman, super organized and made sure everything flowed smoothly on our day. For over 2 years, she responded to my emails/questions the same day and went above and beyond to be helpful. All of my bridesmaids and family commented on how exceptional she was. All staff members were friendly and attentive, and the venue is in excellent shape. We kept hearing from our guests that the food was \"shockingly good,\" and that the ceremony site was the most beautiful they've ever seen. Planning a wedding is stressful, but the Pines makes it enjoyable and was simply a joy to work with. If I had to do it all over, I would have my wedding here again in a heartbeat and I know of many other couples who got married here and had an equally wonderful experience. THANK YOU to the Pines at Genesee and Stephanie Smith for what was truly the best day of our lives.

Between the pandemic and my husband going through a traumatic event weeks before the wedding, the Pines stuck through it all with us! They were always very understanding and empathetic to our varying struggles throughout our wedding journey and their kindness was truly heartwarming. They always ensured that we were taken care of the entire time. The wedding day was perfect; the venue was beautiful, our wedding coordinator was on top of things, and the food was fantastic! Overall, a very lovely experience and we really appreciate the team they have.Oh, and they also have several wonderful vendors for DJ services, flowers, and photography. Though we booked them all separate, they all seemed to have a great relationship with The Pines and it really helped the whole night go smoothly!

I love The Pines at Genesee! Not only are their indoor and outdoor spaces beautiful, but the staff is so helpful that it made planning my wedding almost too easy. The Pines took care of just about everything from offering great packages for DJs, Florists, Bakers, Photographers, and so much more. They handled most of my contact to my vendors for me and made sure that they communicated throughout the entire planning processes to make sure our special day went off without a hitch. She answered a million questions we had for months (and years) leading up to the event, helped us out so much the day of (including making a last minute boutonniere and recommending a switch to our shuttle plans!), and our menu tasting and planning meetings were also a great experience. One staff member even came up to my husband and complimented us on our first dance. They were so nice! The venue itself is beautiful, close to Denver, so accessible for our out of town guests, and the food was amazing. I could go on and on. Would highly recommend!

The Pines at Genesee was an absolutely amazing wedding venue! We are so grateful to the entire staff, especially Ashley, for everything she did to make our wedding a dream come true. Ashley's coordination with us leading up to the wedding and the day of was incredible, and she made everything run smoothly. The Pines has built a community of wedding vendors who love to work there, and we appreciated how easy The Pines made figuring out all of these details for us with their vendor packages. Part of planning a wedding is the cost, and The Pines' in-house catering meant we could have delicious food at half to a third of the per-person cost we saw at comparable venues. Speaking of the catering, the food was delicious and The Pines was so gracious in catering to our family's allergy and dietary needs. The Pines considers every little detail of your wedding day, down to making sure you have a chance to eat some hors d'oeuvres while you take wedding photos. The staff made sure we were taken care of throughout the entire evening, including the option to add an additional hour at the end of the night, which we were so thankful we were able to do. We can't thank you enough for all you did to help us celebrate our wedding and make it special and unique for us.

Where do we begin? HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting married at the Pines. The ceremony and reception sites are BEAUTIFUL. The ceremony site allows for the feel of getting married in the mountains with the accessibility to Denver, cell service, ubers, etc. that you cannot always get in remote mountain destinations. The reception sites are spacious, clean and accommodating. The staff went above and beyond when it came to set-up and service. I still have family commenting that there was staff taking care of them from cocktail hour to the end of the reception every time they turned around. The tasting and planning process is very thorough and organized with the Pines. The food was FRESH and delicious— the Pines food was the best wedding food I have ever had (many guests have told me this as well). Ashley is AMAZING. She is very responsive, organized, thoughtful, kind, patient and the reason I felt so relaxed on my big day. She made sure everything was taken care leading up to our day, on the day and even after. I cannot say enough positive things about Ashley and the Pines team. They orchestrated every minute of the day perfectly. This venue knows what they are doing when it comes to weddings. I, as well as my friends and family, felt so taken care of throughout the entire process.

We are both SO happy with our decision to go with The Pines for our wedding venue. Vivian was our coordinator and helped us every step of the way. She was a fantastic communicator which definitely made the process easier. We were one of the couples affected by Covid and had to reschedule to the following year. The Pines was understanding and worked with us to find a new date quickly. Fast forward to the week of the wedding. I had a lot of last minute questions that came up, things I know we had been over previously but the week of the wedding I just couldn't think through all the wedding stress. Vivian answered all the questions quickly and definitely helped me with lowering my stress levels that week. The wedding day, was PERFECT! The weather didn't cooperate but the Pines was quick to adjust. Vivian was a calming soul that I needed on my wedding day. She also helped with my bustle when none of my bridesmaids could figure it out. Later in the night when my bustle broke, the service captain that night stepped in and saved the day!! She even made new loops in the dress to bring up and button to make the bustle. The staff did a great job with service also! Overall, we could not have asked or a better day or better venue, or better people to work with. Vivian, THANK YOU! For everything. And especially for bringing me some snacks during the cocktail hour :) I HIGHLY recommend The Pines to brides looking for their perfect venue. Cheers!

The Pines helped make our wedding amazing! The outdoor ceremony sites are beautiful and made for gorgeous, natural bridal party and family photos. Our guests loved the indoor reception and the Pines staff helped everything run smoothly. Their various wedding packages helped to reduce the overwhelming number of options and all of our vendors ended up begin one of their suggested vendors. They worked with us as we navigated the challenges of COVID and helped to create a wedding plan that kept us and our guests safe. The only critical thing I would say about our experience with the Pines was communication. Initiating some check-ins and other necessary conversations fell on us rather than them, which was stressful with everything else that goes into planning a wedding. Other than that, the venue itself is beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and our wedding day ended up being perfect. Highly recommend!

The Pines was everything we hoped for in a wedding venue. We knew as soon as we toured the facility that we wanted to get married there. It’s a perfect mix of the outdoor/mountain vibe we were looking for without requiring an hour + drive into the mountains for our guests. Although, COVID-19 significantly changed our wedding plans, the Pines was extremely flexible to work with. Lauren and Regan were wonderful throughout the whole process. We ultimately decided to get married on our original date with a small family only ceremony and postpone our reception until next year. They both assisted in working with vendors to align for the new reception date and the process was relatively painless. Our wedding day was wonderful and the Pines provided everything we needed for the day. Regan helped coordinate and everything went smoothly.I can’t recommend the Pines enough! They provide a perfect mix of mountain escape without having to drive an hour and a half into the mountains for your special day. We had many people from out of town attending our reception and their location worked perfectly so our guests didn’t have to travel further into the mountains on top of all the travel they had already completed. We had our wedding ceremony at the Pines in Aug 2020 and the Pines was extremely flexible in splitting our reception deposit to Aug 2021 due to COVID restrictions. They were a huge help in assisting with recommending vendors and assisting with coordination of the vendors for the new Aug 2021 reception date. We worked primarily with Allyson for our reception and she was extremely easy to work with. She provided timely responses to our questions and was flexible with our headcount adjustments as guest needs changed the week prior to the reception. We also used the Pines Catering for the reception. We were able to pick multiple sampling options and pick them up via curbside during the pandemic. We were able to find delicious appetizers and buffet food options in our price range with no problem. We received many compliments from our guests on the food and service! All Pines staff that we and our guests interacted with were friendly and professional. I really appreciate all their help with making both our wedding day and reception a year later truly special for us!

You know you picked the right venue when all of your vendors start raving about them as soon as you tell them where you are getting married. They seriously make it the easiest day of your life. They go above and beyond for you and your guests. They even had someone carry my dress train from the venue to the ceremony site so it wouldn’t get dirty before walking down the isle!!! Our coordinator Vivian was so responsive with all my questions and was so helpful the day of. They do two weddings a day there, but you would never know it. They have the scheduling down to a tee that you never see the other wedding or hear them. I can not recommend The Pines enough they are truly magical!!

We didn’t actually use the Pines as my venue but did use their catering and bar tending services for our wedding at Boettcher Mansion (I remember having a hard time finding reviews specific to catering when I was looking, so wanted to be sure to review on this aspect as well!). Stephanie was our catering coordinator, and she did such a great job! All of the food was delicious. Stephanie was extremely quick to respond and accommodated even some last minute changes that needed to be made. It was such a relief to have a caterer who helped make the entire day go more smoothly, and the Pines team really did!

I can not recommend The Pines at Genesee enough. We had a wedding with mostly out of town guests and wanted a venue that truly felt like the mountains without the drive time. This venue accomplished exactly this for us. We worked with Regan who was incredible! She answered any questions I had quickly and made our day move seamlessly. She contacted all of our vendors to make sure they all knew exactly what to do and was such a calming force on a potentially stressful day. The food was also amazing and our guests have continued to talk about what a beautiful venue it was and how delicious the food was.

Though my husband and I live in CO, we knew that most of our guests would be flying in, many for the first time, and so we wanted to find a venue that gave them an intimate experience with us while also giving them a taste of our beautiful state. The Pines natural setup and decor puts the focus on the gorgeous setting, and the staff are so wonderfully helpful, courteous, and quick to respond. I cannot imagine having had our wedding anywhere else.

I was hired to be the videographer at a wedding here and it's an amazing venue. It really made my job easy by providing such an amazing backdrop. Having the ceremony sites tucked back in the trees was really cool. Along with the venue being amazing, the staff were super helpful and flexible. Most brides tell me about how stressful the wedding planning process was for them. Is was the exact opposite for me. Everything was so straightforward from the moment I met Erika for the initial consultation. Besides the venue being stunning, and the food delicious, the experience was truly a sweet season due to Erika and her team. She answered all questions I had throughout the process, and day of coordination was nothing short of a built in blessing. Guests had an amazing time. Overall, I am just super thankful we found this spot and for the amazing customer service! Thanks for making this day the best.

I can’t say enough good things about The Pines and getting to work with Erika! Her and her team helped make our wedding so, so beautiful, fun, and seamless because of how incredibly knowledgeable, organized, attentive, and helpful they are! For the entirety of the planning process and the day of, my husband and I and the rest of our families and friends felt so, so taken care of by Erika and her team. Erika had great insight on every wedding vendor you would ever need (photographer/videographer, DJ, floral arrangements, hair and make-up, officiant, etc.) and helped us plan and setup every little detail of the wedding, which made our planning process so, so enjoyable. The venue is beautiful and we loved that we were able to do our ceremony outside with a mountain feel! The food at The Pines is super yummy and the staff could not have been any better! My husband and I have gotten countless compliments on how beautiful The Pines is and how kind and helpful the entire staff was! Would highly, highly, highly recommend The Pines!! 😊

It was very easy to work with all the staff at the Pines! They've been doing this for so long they have practically everything figured out for you! For our May wedding, weather was showing rain or snow!! They were very calm and willing to go with the flow and see what mother nature chose to do at the time of our ceremony! They shoveled off the snow before our ceremony and had umbrellas on hand for all our guests! They even put a plate of food in the Bridal Suite for us so we could eat and have a moment to ourselves! The whole evening was effortless!

My husband and I had our Wedding in July of 2018 at the Pines, and it was absolutely amazing. Truly could not have had a better experience. We began the planning living in Wisconsin, and didn't even see the venue in person before booking it! This is how friendly the staff was with working with us long distance! We scheduled our tasting and tour, and they worked with us since we had to schedule it with a trip out to Colorado to visit family, and they were so accommodating. The food was incredible, and honestly extremely reasonable compared to what other venues and catering companies charge. Being able to bring our own alcohol was a huge money saver, and the staff at the Pines did a great job bartending. I don't have a single complaint or something I wish we would have done, I truly want to relive the day over and over again. The best part of the entire experience was our wedding coordinator, Yari. She was incredible, and a truly genuine person. I am a very calm person, and do not get flustered or stressed anyway, so Yari was fun to hang out with during the day! If you do stress easily, she will be the calming voice during the craziness of set up and getting ready. I actually had family members tell me they saw her busting her butt and were so impressed by her specifically, and of course the gorgeous scenery and wonderful food. If you want a beautiful wedding with a Colorado rustic yet elegant feel, but also are budget conscious, the Pines is the place to go. Thank you so much to everyone who helped with our big day :).

My husband and I got married here October 26, 2018, everything was great. We had a few small hiccups like every wedding does but the pines staff jumped in and did everything to fix it. The outdoor terraces are beautiful and we got so many compliments on the food. Mac and Cheese bar for the win! I would recommend them to anyone in the greater Denver Metro area for a mountain wedding

This venue is a dream. Although it is located right next to I-70, it is tucked back in a beautiful location that was perfect for our fall wedding. The interior provides a blank space for couples looking to customize the \"feel\" of their big day. We were happy to use The Pines Catering as the menu offered a variety of foods and price points. Not to mention, the food was delicious! The staff was knowledgeable, helpful in the planning process, and were dedicated to preparing a meaningful day for us.The Pines was the most affordable venue we visited, but was every bit as quality as pricier venues. In fact, the included amenities (BYOB option, bar staff, day-of coordinator, etc.), added even more value to this already stellar space.

I can’t say enough amazing compliments about the staff at the Pines! Vivian was our coordinator from our very first tour and she was beyond incredible! She answered every email in a timely fashion and was beyond helpful for every little detail. The day of our wedding, we honesty felt like a King and Queen with the amazing service they provided. They came around and asked numerous times if the bridal party or family needed anything at all. They also had staff serve the bride and groom plates and bring it back to the table for us, which I thought added such an extra touch to the night. I did not worry about any detail of the wedding the day of, and if anything went wrong, I didn’t know because Vivian handled all of the coordination. We highly recommend the Pines! They were top notch service and we received so many compliments on the food as well!

We highly recommend The Pines at Genesee. Our June wedding there was amazing. It was a picture perfect day at the picture perfect venue. We were looking for that “mountain feel” without driving hours into the mountains. Although the venue is right off I-70, once you’re on the grounds you forget the interstate is down the hill. And your guests will appreciate how close it is to Denver and other local towns. Since we were planning from Florida, having our wedding coordinator walk us through all the planning - the food, the timing, the layout- was crucial. The Pines team knows what they are doing and will help you make your day absolutely magical. They are very responsive to answer any questions you have or find solutions. The entire team was so great to work with, especially our coordinator – Vivian! She was super organized and detail oriented yet at the same time so patient and supportive. And she was dealing with TWO brides, so she had her work cut out 😉. We can’t thank them enough!

We used The Pines for offsite catering for our wedding in Lyons a couple weeks ago, and cannot rate them highly enough! Their food first got our attention at a bridal show, but the service and care we received from Stephanie and Regan from day one was what made them a no-brainer for us! We were upfront about our budget for catering, and Stephanie went above and beyond to get us our dream menu within our budget - no other caterer even came close. She responded quickly to all of our emails, paid so much attention to detail, and took initiative in coordinating with my venue to make sure everything went perfectly. She made awesome suggestions, and took care of things I never would have thought of that made a huge difference. Regan was our point-person the day of the wedding, and she was amazing too. She made sure my husband, me and our families had everything we needed all night. My mom said she didn't go to the bar once all night because Regan and her crew were so on top of making sure she had what she wanted. When she overheard me say I was hungry, she brought me a cup filled with their amazing BBQ stout meatballs! We couldn't have asked for better service or food, compliments of their amazing chef. Tons of our guests commented on how good the food was - the only \"negative\" thing I heard was that the guests needed bigger plates because the food was so good! I would HIGHLY suggest the Pines Catering for any and every event. We love them.

We got married at the Pines on 7/6/2018 and could not have had a better experience! All of the ladies at the Pines are extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to wedding planning. We reached out to them several times with questions and they were always quick to reply and helpful. On the wedding day, the entire event staff was extremely helpful and accommodating (despite some last minute stress on my part) and made sure everything was perfect for our special day. After the wedding, I have had several people reach out to tell me how much they loved the venue, the staff and the food. If you are looking for a fairly affordable, beautiful venue with amazing staff, this is your venue!

The Pines is a PERFECT venue. The Pines offers that mountain/wilderness taste of Colorado without the price tag of a true mountain wedding. It is a beautiful location and we were lucky enough to have a few deer trot by during our photos! The staff are fabulous. From the initial tour to our planning meeting to the day-of execution- they know their stuff. The venue is quite reasonably priced, they let you bring in your own alcohol (which saves a ton of money), and their food is very good. The venue does off-site catering as well, so you know the food is a home run. They do monthly tastings which are great to take advantage of. We had so many compliments on both the venue and the food. Nichole was our coordinator and she was a joy to work with- she was organized, calm, accommodating and professional. The catering staff was great as well, as the banquet captain was attentive and there for our every need. You can't go wrong with choosing this venue, the whole planning process was seamless with their support. They have great relationships with vendors and can make good recommendations. With two ceremony options and two reception offerings- they can work with so many different visions!

So effortless and easy- we loved our choice for our venue! Vivian (and the whole team) were amazing and made this process stress-free. All of our guests could not get over how beautiful the ceremony space was (Evergreen Terrace) and how much fun they had. We could not have asked for a more wonderful day. We could not say thank you enough... you will not be disappointed if you choose to have your wedding here.

She had taken over for another coordinator somewhere during the planning but they did a great job making sure everything transitioned smoothly. The Pines at Genesee was so incredibly accommodating. My husband and I booked them back in Spring 2017 for our June 2018 wedding, and they took care of us for the entire time leading up to our wedding! We were assigned our official coordinator, Nichole, about a month before our event and she was an absolute joy to work with!The venue itself is stunning, but pictures can do more justice to the verdant scenery than my words can. We booked the \"Evergreen Terrace,\" and the \"Lower Reception Room.\" It was important to us to have an ADA accessible venue, and I am happy to report that our guests were able to navigate the venue with ease.We also used the Pines catering, and we absolutely loved the food. We went to a few tastings prior to deciding on our menu, and the food was even higher quality than the tastings on our wedding day!Overall, I had a wonderful experience with the Pines.

This review is for their off-site catering services, we had our wedding at another site up in Evergreen this past September and used the Pines for catering only. Stephanie was excellent to work with and very responsive throughout the planning process. We had several menu changes and they were never a problem. The seating chart online planner she provided was a great tool as well. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day and we received several rave reviews on the food. Between the excellent service (waitstaff was great as well) and the quality of the food I'd recommend the Pines Catering without any reservation.

If you are looking for a caterer I highly, highly recommend The Pines at Genesee. The reception captain, Stephanie, is amazing at what she does. I lived out of state while planning my wedding, but Stephanie made everything so easy. We planned the menu over phone calls and emails, and she even arranged for a tasting during the short time I was home in Colorado on school break. Not only did we have one tasting, but she arranged for a second tasting so my husband could attend. Stephanie is extremely detail-oriented and made notes down to the smallest detail. She never seemed to be bothered by all my crazy emails. The Pines at Genesee provided not only dinner and dessert, but they also provided all the soft drinks, bar fruit, glassware, dinnerware, silverware, linens, cocktail tables, boosters, and highchairs. The bartenders, waitstaff, and chef were amazing and extremely professional. The entire evening went so smoothly. Because Stephanie was so awesome and offered so many services, I did not even need to hire a wedding planner. She coordinated all the vendor deliveries, the bartenders, and the wait staff. She came up the reception timeline and layout, She also coordinated with the DJ and photographers to make sure the reception timeline went off without a hitch. Stephanie was so kind as to let us drop off additional desserts the day before, as well as the cake stands, our toasting glasses, and other dessert decorations/servers. I was blown away when I first walked in to the reception. It was perfect from start to finish.

I could not rave about this venue enough. They truly have weddings down to a science. All of the staff was wonderful and met every one of my needs. The venue is stunning for ceremony site and reception. It held my big wedding of 200 people. The only issue was they had limited timing that you could get in on the day. Everyone loved the venue and I was ecstatic at how the day turned out.

My father even mentioned that he could tell she loves her job!! Their on-site catering was top notch. Our guests are still raving about the food. This company deserves 10 stars! We used the Pines as our off-site catering choice at Boettcher Mansion and could not have made a better decision! Stephanie was truly the best person and vendor representative to work with. She offered many helpful tips, while being overly patient with us in the decision process for our wedding buffet. On the day of the event, Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure our specail day went smoothly and seamlessly. She really went above and beyond what was asked of her. The entire wait and bar staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was... AMAZING! We received so many compliments on our catering. We cannot thank Stephanie and The Pines staff enough!! We used The Pines to cater our off-site wedding and we couldn't have been any happier with their services. Stephanie was extremely easy to work with and answered all of our questions throughout the planning process. She ended up being more of a day-0f coordinator for us at our venue and everything went smoothly. The Pines was extremely helpful in setting up and tearing down tables, decorations, and made the clean up a breeze. We felt like we could just enjoy the night without any distractions. Our guests loved the food--we decided to do heavy buffet appetizers and everyone raved about the selection, quality, and quantity. You will not be disappointed with The Pines.

The Pines at Genesee is AMAZING!!! From the first visit and consultation to the final day of our wedding, we couldn't be happier with our experience. We had our first visit and consultation with Regan and I have to tell you that I feel lucky to have been able to work with her during this process. We were sold on the venue after our first visit and from then on, Regan was on top of everything that we needed. Questions, suggestions, and advice were given in a timely manner and I felt like she took a real interest in our special day. She was there as our coordinator on the day of our wedding and then for the reception that followed. One of the best things we found about The Pines is that they offer a vendor package for many of the services you would need. We liked that they offered a couple of different options for each of vendors as well as a complete list of people/companies that they work with on a regular basis. This was super helpful for us to pick and choose reputable vendors. The venue itself is beautiful. We chose the Evergreen Terrace to hold our ceremony. It was perfect. Our guests have not stopped talking about how beautiful it was. The backdrop of large rocks, trees, and the sun shining into the trees provided the best scenery for our ceremony and pictures. The reception was equally as awesome. We had the Lower Level of the Pines. The layout and setup of the room was setup exactly how we had asked. It was very pretty and comfortable for the guests. THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!! Every guest at our wedding raved about the food. We did the Walk Around Feast option and upgraded to the Prime Rib as one of our entrees. Everything was delicious and there were enough options to satisfy every guest. Everyone on the staff was very nice and professional during our event. We had such a great day and I can't imagine getting married at any other venue.
