The Piper Palm House Reviews

We absolutely loved this venue. The moment I laid eyes on it I knew that this had to be the location for our ceremony and reception! The communication and coordination at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding was really good. Reviewed on 12-01-2024

We had our wedding ceremony at the Piper Palm House for our August 2023 wedding. It was absolutely beautiful, and the photos look great with the pretty natural lighting and pops of green from the indoor plants. They were communicative throughout the process and very responsive via email. Everything during the rehearsal and on the day-of went smoothly. We used their bluetooth speaker for music, their microphone for the officiant to use and the arbor for decoration. The only thing I want to note for other couples: there is a possibility that an outdoor event may be booked during the same weekend and in that case, the tent on the patio is up Thurs-Sun. This happened to us and was a little disappointing because I had envisioned using that side for some photos that included all the beautiful windows. The coordinator at Piper Palm let me know well ahead of time that would be the case, which I did appreciate. We ended up taking our outdoor photos on one of the short sides of the building and in the greenhouse area in the back and they still turned out beautiful. Reviewed on 13-09-2023
Suzie Beers(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2021 We held our wedding here and got a lot of complements on how beautiful the space is. The communication is easiest by email which was fine with me. They always responded quickly to any questions or concerns. Planning a wedding during unsure times is complicated but Piper Palm House kept us updated on laws and other situations such as guest limit changes. If you are a fan of plants like me, you can’t go wrong booking this venue. Reviewed on 01-11-2021
Celia Duncan(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2021 Not only is the Piper Palm House beautiful, the team goes above and beyond to help on the wedding day. As a wedding planner having a professional, kind, and efficient venue team is essential to a great event. At our event, one of the vendors was having trouble getting their product to work, and Heather never gave up on finding a solution. Ultimately, she helped make the couple's vision come to life through her persistence. I loved working with Piper Palm House and cannot wait to partner with them again! Reviewed on 04-10-2021
Chali Beard(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-06-2021 Absolutely beautiful venue, your pictures will be gorgeous! We wanted a non-church venue that wasn't a brick wall, this checked each box we were looking for and the location is perfect. That said, if you're planning on getting married here, don't rely on the day of coordinator for much. Hire out music so you won't have to stress about connecting to their speaker (they won't know how to help you either unfortunately). Reviewed on 04-10-2021
Kaylee Schaefer(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-07-2021 Piper Palm House was on our original list and we were thrilled it was available when we had to make a COVID pivot. They were extremely communicative and responsive to any questions we had and the process was very smooth with them. We had both wedding and reception there and they worked hand in hand with our caterer, Seed Sprout Spoon to create (truly) the event of our dreams. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for a 100 person wedding with a gorgeous backdrop (you don't have to do much in there for it to be beautiful). Reviewed on 02-08-2021
Samantha Baird(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-07-2021 I’m from Charleston South Carolina so when we were looking for wedding venues, it meant a lot to us to find some thing that had that old historical almost Charleston appeal. The Piper Palm House is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever been into. It’s so beautiful you don’t even really need to add any decoration on the inside because it stands up on its own. It felt timeless like I was transported into hundreds of years prior. I loved every moment of it. It was so romantic and so beautiful especially with the Lily Pond right there. Everyone loved it. Everyone raved about how nice and respectful the staff were. Reviewed on 08-07-2021
