Located in Phoenix, AZ, The Place To Be is an outdoor wedding venue. Set at the heart of the Triangle Complex, this picturesque park is ideal for open-air ceremonies and memorable celebrations. The conveniently situated property in the city’s downtown area offers easy access to guests traveling from near and far for the special day. With a maximum capacity of 75 guests, The Place To Be is perfect if you are hosting an intimate gathering or private elopement. You and your partner can exchange your vows at one of two ceremony sites to the backdrop of rustic brick and industrial metallic sheeting. If you want to add a special touch to your “I do” moment, you can stand under a geometric arch adorned with fresh eucalyptus. Afterward, you can enjoy some alfresco dining on homely wooden furniture surrounded by the striking scenery and verdant parkland views. Throughout the day, you can access a comfortable get-ready suite to prepare for the celebrations with your wedding party. At The Place To Be, you can choose one of two wedding packages to suit your unique needs. With the elopement option, the venue is available for up to three hours and covers your ceremony. The staff will set up the event space with custom decor, folding chairs, and a wedding arch for your private gathering. Alternatively, if you choose the party package, you can rent the event space for six hours. This option includes both ceremony and reception space, decorations, and tableware. The staff will provide you with all the essentials for your wedding banquet, including linens, flatware, and candles. You are welcome to use your favorite vendors for the celebration or choose the venue’s recommended suppliers. The event center partners with unusual entertainers, including fire breathers, flash tattoo artists, and trained bartenders. Free public street parking is also available at the park for your convenience.

The Place To Be and their team made my wedding day amazing. I'm not a picky bride and I gave Laura (the wedding coordinator) the creative freedom to do the floral arrangements (included with venue fee!). They turned out absolutely gorgeous! The venue was completely transformed into a stunning event with lights, candles, flowers, and table settings. I really appreciate Laura and The Place To Be because having a beautiful wedding shouldn't break the bank. I felt that the price and what we got for it was awesome and I would definitely recommend to brides who are looking for a venue that fits in a tight budget but will also pull out all the stops to be amazing. Thank you so much Laura!!

Laura and Rudy were a dream to work with! The entire process was so simple and stress free. Laura was always available and so quick to answer any questions I had. The venue was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Her team was so professional and helpful as well. The Place To Be was perfect for our wedding.

I cannot say enough positive things about The Place to Be. It is the perfect venue for a small wedding. All I can say is our wedding was perfect! Laura and Rudy were amazing. They made sure everything was taken care of. It was honestly a stress free wedding. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone wanting a small intimate wedding. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Jaime is detailed oriented to make sure that your wedding meets every expectation of your big day. In partnership with her husband, they have created and designed the venue space from the ground up. Dr. Jaime’s detail-oriented nature and her husband’s artistic vision have created this quaint and unique venue to celebrate each and every couple who gets married in the space.
