With a design that incorporates elements from a decommissioned cement plant, The Plant at Kyle has won multiple awards from the prestigious American Institute of Architects (AIA) and has been featured in many architectural books.
Events such as weddings and organizational retreats are made more special and memorable because of the soaring structure positioned on 17 Texas hill-country acres south of Austin, Texas that feels intimate although it can also accommodate large groups in the hundreds of guests. This venue is unique not just because of its architecture, but also because it can accommodate up to 10 overnight guests in three bedrooms with three baths.

The Plant at Kyle Reviews
Melissa Itzkowitz(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-04-2022 My husband and I got married at The Plant at Kyle a few weeks ago and it was exactly what we wanted and then some. The space is absolutely beautiful and truly unique, and we were able to host our friends who really helped us with the DIY portion of the weekend. This allowed us to have both a big party filled with family and friends, while still having more intimate time with a few close friends over the several days that we stayed there. It was also great to have a home base for the weekend, which allowed us to host a smaller family dinner on Friday night, the larger wedding on Saturday, and a brunch for all of our guests on Sunday morning. Martha and Jamie, the venue managers, and Mark, the owner, were also fabulous. All three of them were super communicative and really helped us with all of our questions to ensure we had just the event that we wanted. It really was perfect and we highly recommend it. Samantha Hernandez(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-10-2021 We rented The Plant At Kyle for our wedding weekend! It was the perfect setting for our special day. The architecture is so unique and has so many beautiful backgrounds for photos. From the first day we visited The Plant we knew that we wanted to get married there. The house instantly makes you feel at peace with constant breeze coming in through the huge screen in patio and there are so many special details to be found throughout the property. Martha and Jamie were absolutely lovely in communicating with us throughout our planning process including when we had to postpone due to Covid. We not only highly recommend The Plant for your wedding but also as a wonderful house to vacation in. We plan on coming back for future anniversaries! We are so thankful to have found The Plant! JENNIFER FREEMAN(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-06-2020 We knew the moment we drove up to The Plant that we had found our venue. Every part of this place is special, from the amazing architecture, the gorgeous wildflowers to the charming hosts and middle-of-nowhere vibe. We stayed several nights before the ceremony and really got to take in all of the wonderful details The Plant has to offer. We are SO grateful to have stumbled upon this magical place. Chloe Gonzales(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-02-2020 This is absolutely the most perfect venue. I was able to have close friends and family stay for two nights with us at this venue, and the property managers are SO helpful. They received our rentals for us and then met with the rental company again after we had already checked out so they could pick everything up. The venue is gorgeous, and so unique, and it has everything you could need - they even have signs that you can put out to help your guests find their way. I loved that they didn't have vendor restrictions, too - we were able to have one of our favorite restaurants cater for us (and it was so easy because of the full kitchen!), and we got to choose a rental company with tables that we liked the look of, and we got to choose close friends to coordinate the music, both a ceremony performance and a DJ. It was completely up to us, and we had the most perfect wedding weekend with all the people who are closest to us. I can't rave about this place enough - I would highly recommend having your wedding, or even another event, here! Reviewed on 18-02-2020
Jayne Furlong(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-09-2018 Amazing venue owned and managed by incredibly friendly, helpful people. We really loved the ability to rent the venue for the week to spend time with family and friends before and after the wedding. Truly a unique, beautiful place. Reviewed on 28-11-2018
Alena Roshanfar(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-04-2018 We are so happy that we chose The Plant for our wedding venue! They were so easy and pleasant to work with and helped us any way they could. Our family was able to stay together in one place and our guests loved the interesting architecture. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for any type of event venue or a place for a weekend stay. We will definitely be back! Reviewed on 11-05-2018
Erika Sells(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-03-2018 We booked The Plant at Kyle on Homeaway for our wedding. We booked the Plant for three nights- the night before the wedding for the rehearsal dinner, the night of the wedding, and the day after. It was a beautiful space for our relatively small wedding, and the convenience of having the ceremony, reception, and a place for us, as well as some of the bridal party to spend the night was wonderful. The fact that it’s not an “official” wedding venue allowed us to choose our own vendors, allowing us to have a truly personalized and DIY-type wedding. The caretakers of the Plant at Kyle, Martha and Jaime, are wonderful people, and we even had Jaime do a star party for some of our guests the night before the wedding. We couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Reviewed on 28-03-2018

Kathryn Morgan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-10-2011 We happened upon this venue while looking at homeaway.com and were enchanted. It's off the beaten path, out in the country all on it's own, and was PERFECT for our wedding. It provided a great place for the smaller intimate wedding we wanted. The land provided the perfect backdrop, so we had minimal decorating to do. We rented the venue for the entire weekend, so I was able to stay out there with my girls the night before. I can't think of anything negative to sway about this place! Reviewed on 18-10-2011
I own and operate The Plant at Kyle (an architectural landmark venue that celebrates creativity, community, and sustainability) and Tiny World Tours (a unique experience tour company): both are great platforms supporting these passions. Although my background is in astrophysics and holographic imaging, I have a passion for international arts and culture, travel, and collaborative exchange at local, regional, national, and international levels.
