We just got married at The Powelton Club on August 26, 2023. Five stars does not even being to describe our experience. From day one, after speaking with Rebecca, we knew this was the perfect place for us. Rebecca is so good at what she does here, we knew we were in the right hands. She helped us to create the wedding of our dreams, all while having the patience of a saint! We were looking for a place that resonated peace and comfort while still having an upscale yet not overly flashy vibe. The Powelton Club exudes a sophisticated old world charm feel without feeling stuffy. It's beautiful and classy and we really didn't have to purchase a lot in \"extras\" to decorate. The members there do a lot of decorating with flowers as well, and if you like the color scheme that they create for the season you can keep them in your space for the day, at no charge. We chose to use the current pieces and we could not have made a better choice. The flowers complimented our color scheme beautifully, and the fireplace decor was stunning! We decided to have our ceremony in front of the fireplace and it was truly magical. With Rebecca's help, we were able to have the ceremony the way we envisioned - and it was perfect. Now let's talk food... We were allowed to choose several delicacies from a wide array of really delicious offerings, in addition to two stations of our choice as the hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour. They were deliciously and expertly prepared and served by the great staff, and our guests immediately felt welcomed. We chose to do a buffet style dinner, with a viennese table for desserts in addition to our wedding cake, which was also included in our package. The cake vendor that The Powelton Club uses did an amazing job on the cake - 5 stars for her too! We can't stress enough that the food was absolutely delicious! We keep hearing from our guests about how really tasty all of the food was. And it truly was. We just honestly can't say enough about how truly fantastic our experience was planning our wedding with Rebecca at The Powelton Club. Every single detail of our wedding day was perfect. From the setting and ambience, to the ease of planning for our special day here, not worrying at all if our guests will enjoy the place or the food as much as we did, working with an amazing staff of true professionals like Rebecca (sometimes Erica too) Nina, my Bridal Attendant for the day, all of the really great wait staff...just perfection-every single detail. Thank you Rebecca and the awesome staff at The Powelton Club for making our day unforgettable. It truly was the wedding our our dreams!

We had our wedding reception at The Powelton Club in October 2023 and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more! The Powelton's timeless charm and romantic decor made for a perfect backdrop for our celebration. Their indoor event space easily accommodated our 120 guests with plenty of room for a large dance floor and photobooth. There was a good flow to the room throughout the whole evening. When it came to designing our custom menu there were so many amazing selections to choose from. Our guests raved about how delicious all the food and drinks were and the open bar kept the fun going all evening! The clubhouse manager Rebecca has been a true professional to work with and guided us through the planning process to ensure we had the most successful event. She was very responsive to any emails and made us feel comfortable to ask any questions we had during our in person planning meetings. I would highly recommend The Powelton Club to anyone looking to host an event in the Hudson Valley!!

We recently had the most incredible wedding at the Powelton club, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were met and that our guests felt taken care of.One of the highlights of our wedding was undoubtedly the food. It was simply outstanding. From the delicious appetizers to the mouthwatering main course, every dish was prepared with precision and care. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the flavors and presentation. In fact, the Powelton club even went the extra mile and accommodated the food allergies of some of our guests, ensuring that everyone could enjoy the celebration without any worries.What impressed us most was the attention to detail and personalization. They made sure to stock our favorite wine, which truly made us feel special. The elegant ambiance of the club added an extra touch of sophistication to our wedding day, and our friends are still talking about how unforgettable the entire experience was.We can't recommend the Powelton club enough for anyone considering a wedding venue. From the exquisite food to the exceptional service and stunning surroundings, they exceeded all of our expectations. Our special day wouldn't have been the same without them. We got married at the Powelton Club a couple of weeks ago and everything was so amazing!! The grounds and the venue are gorgeous and were a perfect backdrop for our pictures. The food was amazing - easily the best food I've ever had at a wedding, and we are still getting rave reviews about it to this day. I'm vegan so I wanted to have a lot of vegan options for cocktail hour, and they were able to accomodate easily. And the staff was just incredible and such a pleasure to work with. Rebecca specifically made the whole planning process and day-of so easy and seamless. I highly reccomend The Powelton Club!

Our wedding at the Powelton Club was absolutely perfect. Rebecca helped us plan every detail leading up to the day. While she was on maternity leave, her coworkers helped us have the most amazing wedding. They truly care, and the customer service is really unbeatable. The food was INCREDIBLE. Our guests are still raving about it. The grounds are beautiful and we truly could not have asked for better.

We just had our wedding here this past weekend and it was the best experience. Rebecca and the rest of the staff at the club made everything go so smoothly. I didn’t have to worry about anything once I stepped in the club my wedding day which felt so stress free and made me relax and enjoy every minute of it. We got so many compliments on the club from the location, the decor and the food. Everyone loved the food!!! We had a few guests that had particular diet restrictions and the cooks were so accommodating and all the guests enjoyed what that had. I would recommend this venue for a wedding and actually any event because if my wedding was this amazing I can imagine how great any other event would be here. Thank you so much Rebecca and the powelton club.

If i could give them more stars, I WOULD!! From start to finish Rebecca and her team were phenomenal. She's planning so much less stressful, espically knowing my fiance was away for the Army 90% of the planning process. I am an an industry professional myself, so exceeding my expectations far beyond is not an easy task. Mike and I felt incredibly taken care of all day long and it's because of the teams insane attention to detail that everything went so smoothly. I would reccomend this venue to any bride looking to get married. It was the perfect day, with the perfect setting!

Our wedding at the Powelton Club was a dream! Rebecca, their wedding coordinator, and ALL the Powelton staff were absolutely amazing from initial planning, to event set up, to every detail the day of. We would not change a single thing. After looking at multiple venues and what’s included in the cost, the Powelton was a no brainer for us. Rebecca in a sense also acts as a day of coordinator ensuring all set up, timelines stay on track, and most importantly that you enjoy your wedding day, free of stress. The wedding itself was everything we wanted. As huge foodies with a passion for wine, we did a four coursed dinner with wine pairing. This was the first wine paired wedding dinner the Powelton had done and it was superb. It’s 3-months later and we still have people telling us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. To include our close friend who works for the biggest cattle ranching company in the US… he said the steak was some of the best you can find. My husband and I cannot recommend the Powelton enough. Along with all their recommended vendors.

The first moment we stepped foot into the Powelton Club, we knew our search for the perfect wedding venue was over. It was everything we were looking for and more. The Powelton Club is beautiful, elegant, historical, and not the typical ‘wedding factory’ venue we had seen too many times. After our first meeting with Rebecca, the wedding coordinator, we knew we were in great hands. She guided us through the wedding planning process every step of the way and was an absolute dream to work with! Our wedding day at the Powelton Club was nothing short of magical. The day flowed so perfectly. The outdoor space for our ceremony was breathtakingly beautiful. All of our guests raved about the delicious food, the amazing service, and the overall experience. There is something special about the Powelton Club that just has to be seen to be believed! We wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day and wish we could do it all over again!!

I hosted a bridal shower for my daughter on 6/25/22. I could not have been happier with the results of this beautiful day. I live out of state, and was in contact with Rebecca , by phone and e-mails. Not one detail was overlooked. Rebecca is impeccable at what she does.The ambiance, delicious food, and the spot-on staff/service definitely did not disappoint. I highly recommend The Powelton Club, I walked away from a beautiful day knowing I made the right choice!

It’s simple: this is one of the best wedding venues in America. My husband and I have been to dozens of weddings and venues across the United States and Europe over the years, but very few come close to matching the top-tier blend of quality, communication, and sheer excellence that Rebecca and the team at the Powelton Club bring to the table! Venue: The venue is gorgeous inside and out – classy, elegant, and packed with unique historical tidbits dating back to the 1880s! Our guest list was about 90 people, and the main building hosted our guests with plenty of room to spare while modifying the space to still make the interactions feel intimate and meaningful. Staff: The staff are sublime – they were so kind and accommodating while also maintaining professionalism and supporting the classy atmosphere of each evening. We had both our rehearsal dinner and reception at the club, and we were completely satisfied with everything! Food: The food is amazing! I don’t know how they do it, but I really can’t emphasize this enough. We’re still strongly considering renewing our vows or something every year or so for the sole purpose of coming back and enjoying the food at the Powelton Club (also love, yes that is important too!). We have been to weddings in wonderful locations all over the place, but often we find that a large expense for a unique/special venue comes at the cost of quality food. Not so at the Powelton Club—you get both for a great price and its frankly incredible. There was a tremendous amount of options for hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and each meal course – any taste and/or preference could be met! They were even so kind as to ensure that there were vegan options for a few of our guests. This is one of those things that can make or break a wedding, and the Powelton Club just casually knocked it out of the park. Communication + Management: While every aspect of the Powelton Club was superb, the true hero of the entire event was the Clubhouse Manager Rebecca! From our first conversation with her she was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful! Since we do not live in the area, Rebecca kindly showed our parents around the venue while we joined in over FaceTime. When COVID 19 forced us to postpone our wedding, she graciously rescheduled us for the following year. Her organization and professionalism were indispensable throughout the entire event, and it made the entire process virtually seamless! She was so flexible with any changes we needed to make, and she offered her expert advice freely as needed. Having never planned a wedding before, her guidance was very much appreciated! Closing Thoughts: Take it from us: you won’t find a better wedding venue in all of New York. So many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meals and what a wonderful venue the Powelton Club is. We are so grateful for Rebecca and all the staff at the Powelton Club for making our wedding such a wonderful time! We are proud to give the Powelton Club our highest possible recommendation to anyone looking for an exceptional experience!

The food was incredibly delicious! And most of all Rebecca was out standing so very, very helpful! I would highly recommend The Powelton Club!

I honestly can’t say enough about The Powelton Club. THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!! I was able to get a last minute availability, giving me about three weeks to plan an entire surprise engagement party. Rebecca was absolutely amazing with contacts for florists and bakeries or anything else I needed and being the go-between to set up deliveries etc. Gathering all of the contact information she had right at her fingertips would’ve taken me at least a week and it still might not have had such a great out come because she has a great reputation at these places . We were able to load in all of our stuff the day before the party as to not be stressed running around the day of. With her assistance I was able to get the most amazing centerpieces from a florist that usually only does weddings but did this for us because of Rebecca. The florist also set up the centerpieces on the table and took some things I brought in to use with the centerpieces and set those up for me as well. They also threw in a beautiful corsage and boutonniere as a surprise gift. Rebeccas eye for decor was spot on and her knowledge of event planning is beyond compare. She gives you her honest opinion on all different areas but does not force her opinion (but I must say take everything she says into serious consideration because she was pretty much always right). When we showed up to start decorating her and the staff had already pulled everything out from storage and had it in the appropriate spots to make for quick work. With her assistance I was able to pull off an amazing party and I honestly had no concerns because I knew I could trust her and the staff. She was amazingly patient and extremely accommodating. I showed up there like a tornado with 1000 ideas and extremely stressed on how to implement everything and she kept me calm and guided me. She honestly was amazing. I can’t say enough about the staff either. They were as attentive, accommodating and professional at this party as you would expect at an large elegant wedding. Erica was in charge of the staff on the night of the party and she was also just as incredible. She was so supportive, helpful, and attentive. She kept everything on track, was always checking in and communicating and made everybody feel so welcome. She was incredibly patient and helpful at cleanup and not rushing us out the door. Their options for cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, main entrées and desserts are some of the best options I’ve seen. We had everything from raw oysters, avocado toast, crepes and lamb chops to sashimi, sushi, a chef run carving station and a whole Italian station just to name some of the amazing food we had. They work with an amazing bakery for specialty cakes and have options like ice cream sundae bars and sweet crepe stations to name a few. And I must say for the immense amount of food that we had the prices were very reasonable. Rebecca also was not one to try to push extra food just to make more money. She guided me perfectly to the appropriate amount. I honestly could keep going on and on about this place. It went from being a potentially extremely stressful process to having such strong confidence in their abilities that I was able to take a breath and really enjoy myself. I highly recommend this venue..

We were ecstatic about our wedding at The Powelton Club. It was just spectacular in every way -- we could not have been happier. We heard many compliments about the club from our guests during the wedding, and we continue to hear more all the time. On top of everything else, the club is very affordable; we got terrific value for our money.The club’s event planner, Rebecca Caldarella, is simply the best! She is supremely organized but not the slightest bit overbearing. She helped us lay out an event schedule at the outset, explained everything we needed to know, recommended terrific vendors, gave us excellent advice on other matters, took notes on every detail, sent us copies of her notes and updated us in writing every time our own plans changed, kept everything on track with the calmest tone and the gentlest guiding hand, handled several last-minute adjustments with total flexibility, and made herself available to answer all our questions promptly and patiently. During the wedding itself she was almost invisible but made sure everything flowed seamlessly. Rebecca is a pro and a true gem. The bridal attendant provided by the club also did a terrific job. She made sure both of us had food and drinks throughout the evening, and as if by magic was at my elbow every time I needed anything.The food was fantastic, but we weren’t surprised after our delicious tasting session a few weeks before the wedding. Our guests, on the other hand, were amazed. They raved! More than a few guests told us this was the best food they had ever been served at a wedding, and one of our guests – a caterer himself, who has provided the food at countless weddings – was particularly impressed. We were busy taking pictures during the cocktail hour so we didn't have much time to enjoy the appetizers but those we did try were superb. Our guests loved the appetizers (we heard about the lambchops and the wrapped asparagus from quite a few people), and we also heard great reviews of the bartenders and the drinks. We didn't have much time to eat during the reception either, but the club’s staff sent us home with containers of each entree, which we enjoyed tremendously in the days after the wedding.The club’s beautiful space was perfect for our ceremony and reception. We wanted our ceremony indoors so we wouldn't have any weather concerns, and the room was lovely. I feared that perhaps moving 120 guest chairs out of our ceremony space during the cocktail hour would be cumbersome or disruptive, but it was handled so quietly and efficiently that we were standing in the middle of it and didn't even notice. Our guests all fit very comfortably into the reception space, the staff handled the buffet dinner smoothly and efficiently, and the dance floor worked well with plenty of room. The \"get ready room\" was a lovely space for me to use before the ceremony, and our babysitter made good use of it during the reception when the young children needed a bit of distraction. Minutes after the wedding ended, the staff had a cart loaded with all our wedding decor ready for us to place in our car. As a result, we were home in no time, exhausted but thrilled with how everything ha gone.Many of the the Powelton Club's staff have been there for years and years, and their experience shows. They have a very finely-tuned operation. We were lucky to have found this venue, and are grateful that they helped make our wedding day so perfect.

My daughter got married very recently and we had both the ceremony and the reception at the Powelton Club. In one word, everything was PERFECT from start to finish. My daughter and her husband decided to get married only about seven months prior to the date, so planning and organizing were expected to be a daunting task. But not with Rebecca as the coordinator! Rebecca is the consummate professional: she is knowledgeable and patient, giving us excellent ideas all the way through the process, including lists of all vendors we would need (and some we didn’t realize we needed). On the wedding day, she and Amber made sure that the bride and groom (and the bride’s mother--me) had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy the night. The venue is gorgeous—classy, warm and inviting, set on lovely grounds and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The food was exceptional – I am still getting texts about that! I expected that things would go smoothly, given the attention to detail that Rebecca displays, but the night exceeded my highest expectations. I strongly suggest that if you are planning a wedding, you book the Powelton Club!

Rebecca and the rest of the staff at The Powelton Club helped make my wedding happen a few nights ago, and it was everything I could have imagined. Rebecca helped with everything from the initial planning stages, coming up with ideas, suggesting not only what types of vendors to use, but specific vendors, and helped keep everything moving on the day of the wedding. Rebecca responded to all my (and there were quite a lot) emails very promptly, and made sure my new wife and I had everything we needed. Everything from the food to the ceremony setup was great, and the staff at TPC made everything work seamlessly. The only thing I would recommend is to get a DJ as the venue's speakers were a little bit low, but they still worked for our needs since we didn't have a DJ and people still danced. I would definitely recommend Rebecca and the rest of the The Powelton Club's staff for anyone's future wedding or other party. All my needs were met quickly and efficiently, and the staff were able to keep everything moving on the big day. I felt like Rebecca was able to explain everything that was happening quickly and concisely so there wasn't any confusion.

TPC is an elegant, historic venue with beautiful grounds, however its the extraordinary service that sealed the deal for this review. Rebecca and TPC staff were truly exceptional in every way! Our family and friends are still raving about the professional, friendly service and outstanding quality of the food & drink. Our wedding day ran smoothly thanks to Rebecca's proactive planning, organization and communication skills. Rebecca helped us understand pandemic rules and navigate day-of hurdles like 100% chance of rain and a mid-reception bustle failure. My husband and I highly recommend TPC!K&DP.S. As with any venue, try to book ~12 months ahead if you are looking for a specific date.

I did a lot of shopping around for my wedding and the Powelton is the absolute best choice! Everything from the ceremony to the cake cutting was included in our package without any upcharge. Best of all, you get Rebecca. She's the event coordinator at the Powelton and she will make you feel so prepared for your big day. When I got married, I felt so happy and excited. There weren't any nagging worries lingering because I knew she had everything buttoned up. Rebecca is approachable and easy to talk to so you never have to worry about peppering her with questions. The Powelton is a cute and cozy venue with a giant bar and plenty of space to walk around. The food is phenomenal and they even have a contract with a local bakery so you don't need to worry about picking up your cake. This isn't a wedding factory or a stuck-up resort. It's a friendly, warm environment with professional people who are great at their jobs. Go check it out!

Choosing The Powelton Club as our wedding venue was by far the best decision we ever made. Rebecca was so thoughtful and professional throughout the entire planning process, and having her honestly took so much of the load off of our own shoulders. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the actual day because we knew she was already taking care of everything. Amber, our bridal attendant, was so sweet and attentive to our needs and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. All of our guests, including our highly-opinionated mother, commented on how great all of the food was, which is something that’s not easy to come by when it comes to weddings, from our own experience. The venue itself was obviously breathtaking, especially if you can catch it at sunset, and made for amazing photography. I highly recommend The Powelton Club to anyone who is looking for a venue for their special day.

The venue is beautiful. We didn’t book The Powelton as there was a million back and forth emails with Rebecca, my planner and I were trying to get any available dates in 2022. It was like pulling teeth, she kept replying how “hard” it is to have ceremonies on certain days of the week. The last email stated she wasn’t sure they would be accommodating “non-members”. At that point, I already knew my business was not wanted.

If I could give the Powelton Club and Rebecca 10 stars, I would. Rebecca was INCREDIBLE in getting everything planned and ensuring that everything was perfect throughout the day. We had a few minor issues, but my husband and I didn't even know about them until the end of the night. Rebecca (and the bridal attendant Amber) were so focused on ensuring that my husband and I had everything we needed - we never needed to go to the bar, and Rebecca ran interference to ensure that we had time to eat. Rebecca ensured that the entire space was perfectly set up, and completely eliminated the need to hire an additional day-of-coordinator. The food was amazing - we had so many guests tell us that they haven't had better wedding food. The space was beautiful, and the entire Powelton team was thoughtful and helpful throughout the day, often going out of their way to help make the day absolutely perfect.

Due to the pandemic, the difficult decision to postpone our daughter’s wedding was made . In 6 weeks time, with the help of Rebecca at the Powelton Club, we had a beautiful wedding with the immediate family. Although it was a very small number, the attention to detail was no less than what you would expect If you were hosting a larger gathering. The service was terrific and the food was fabulous, all done within a save environment that everyone felt comfortable with. They were married up on the hill under the big tree, a romantic setting. At the end of the night, my daughter and son in law said it was the absolute perfect day. I couldn’t agree more and to a parent that was music to my ears. Thank you, Rebecca !

Our experience with The Powelton Club was nothing short of amazing! After COVID resulted in us canceling our original plans, we knew that we still wanted to get married but weren't sure how, where or when that could happen safely. From our first conversation with Rebecca, we were totally put at ease. In just six weeks, she helped us plan a gorgeous and perfect ceremony and dinner with our immediate family all while following the safety protocols. No matter that the wedding was only ten guests, the level of service that we received throughout the planning process and day-of from Rebecca and everyone at The Powelton Club was incredible. The venue itself is classic and the grounds make for beautiful photos and a ceremony location. To top it off, everyone was raving about the food and the level of service during dinner. It was such a special and intimate evening that would not have been possible without the kindness, patience, and guidance of Rebecca and her team. It is a day that our families will remember forever and we are so grateful. We cannot recommend this venue enough.

The indoor area is classic and elegant with a huge warm and inviting fireplace. Our main factor in deciding on the Powelton club was their on-site wedding planner Rebecca. She was available night and day to answer any questions we had. She is truly a gem in the wedding industry! In December of 2019, I, like many brides, began the search for my dream venue. I knew I wanted something that had a good flow, a cozy feel, with a menu that I felt would fit our idea for our wedding. The Powelton was one that I had found through The Knot and I’m so glad that I did. We scheduled a visit and upon arrival felt as if we had walked into a classic Ralph Lauren catalog. From the massive bar that you can cozy up to, to the fire places, the venue was just classic and perfect for us. In addition, from our first phone call, Rebecca Caldarella made our wedding planning process all the much easier. She was calm, organized and well versed on anything and everything wedding oriented. She was patient with my many emails, date requests and multiple visits. She sat and planned our reception start to finish with finesse that alleviated much of my anxiety. I could not have asked to find a more picture perfect location or picture perfect coordinator.

She was there every step of the way with our changes and questions. The venue was fully decked out for the holidays and it was absolutely beautiful. TheY truly take care of the bride and groom—- sometimes a little too much as our food was picked up too quickly when we were on the dance floor, but that’s partially our fault! From start to finish our day was truly magical and we can’t thank the Powelton enough. I recommend this venue 100% to any bride and groom!

A Million Reasons WhyI know that it's crazy cory but there are quite literally a million reasons why I would recommend the PC. The venue is gorgeous, well- maintained, classic, yet able to be personalized. BONUS, not a lot of people know about this gem so your guests will have a new experience. The staff is beyond amazing! Amazing at every step, at every level. Working with Rebecca on the planning was very helpful. not only did she address things that weren't even on my radar, but when issues arose they were delt with quickly and appropriately. it was a huge weight off my mind just knowing I had such an amazing person working with us to make our day special. everything from getting ready in the morning to the afterparty (also held there) was taken care of and coordinated with our vendors. kitchen, bar, and waitstaff are attentive and positive. the food was incredible. yes, a bride that ate at her wedding 😱 know why? because the amazing staff brought food to me and then brought my groom so we could have some food and a break; amazing! everyone was very helpful (staff that happened to be around helped me unload my car of decorations), attentive, polite, and welcoming. our guests had an amazing time and we had the best day of our lives.

If I had 1, I had 6 attendees tell me it was the best wedding they ever attended. Every time we had a question or request Rebecca had a solution. Debbie was a great personal host. The food was fabulous. The facility is very classy. The organization during the event was perfect. And, not to leave out, the price was within our conservative price range!!! If you live in this part of the country and do not consider this venue, you are making a mistake!!

We recently got married at the Powelton Club, Saturday October 12th, 2019 to be exact. What can I say.... Everything was absolutely perfect. Rebecca was an absolute pleasure to work with, friendly, approachable, accommodating,professional,dependable, but most of all she delivered the level of service promised and went above and beyond to ensure that she did Most of our planning happened via emails since I was not living in New York. Rebecca was very prompt with her responses and gave good honest opinions and suggestions. She was very helpful and engaged in our event. I always felt a sense of ease dealing with her; which is what every bride needs. I had lots of international guest travel to our wedding from Canada, Mexico, Australia, and Belize. They were all completely impressed with the appetizers and the dinner selections. I received the most wonderful compliments such as \" this is the best food we have ever had at a wedding!\" The service was impeccable, drinks were constantly flowing, the food was served to time and hot and every table had, what appeared to me, as it's own attendant making everyone feel special.Chris went above and beyond to get me a specific rum for my guest who traveled from Belize. A rum that they specifically drink which was not on the bar list. Thanks so much Chris.Would also like to thank Debbie, my personal attendant , who took care of all my needs before ,during, and after the actual ceremony. She was there for me right up to the end of the reception.As for the venue itself, the views outdoors especially in the fall are breathtaking. The grounds were impeccably kept creating beautiful photo opportunities. The clubhouse itself is elegant and the huge fireplace promises great family portraits.I will forever be thankful and grateful to the staff of the Powelton for making my wedding day everything and more I could have dreamed off.It was absolutely fabulous!!!!!!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about the Powelton Club... especially Rebecca! She is truly a godsend. My husband and I planned our wedding from halfway across the country, and she made the process SO easy! I was able to be a pretty stress-free bride thanks to her. She had thought of things that never even crossed my mind. Aside from the best wedding coordinator, the venue itself is beautiful. It has a very romantic and warm feel to it. The food was AMAZING! People could not stop raving about it. The service was impeccable, and the staff was great. I also loved that there's only one wedding going on. The Powelton Club is also very handicap accessible, which was a necessity for us. In a big part, thanks to Rebecca and the Powelton Club, it really was the best day ever!

Where do we even begin?! From the moment we met Rebecca, we knew we were in great hands. She proved us right, all the way through the end of our wedding where she was (rightfully so), exhausted and STILL helping us physically load our car with all of our things. Rebecca made the planning process easy – I know, it sounds like we are over exaggerating but she really did. Always laid back, patient, responsive, full of ideas, opinions, options and most importantly, calm. Did I mention she was also planning her own personal wedding while doing this?! Yea, pretty much a rock star. The historic charm of the club and greens themselves are simply gorgeous but the wait staff, Rob the Golf Pro, Rebecca and Chris the General Manager is what makes the club a beautiful place. Not only did we receive positive feedback from our guests but the feedback was overwhelming. Almost every single guest made it a priority to tell us how incredible the wedding was – from the small details, the venue, the staff, the DJ, and most importantly, THE FOOD!! We had multiple people tell us it was “the best wedding they’ve ever been to” and “the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding”! The food was to die for – we are still drooling over the short ribs! It was unquestionably 5 star culinary food. Rebecca made little extra touches that she didn’t have to. Our menu cards and food labels all matched the color and greenery theme we were going for. (her idea and added touch) If you’re wedding was fun, you don’t have much time to eat! It’s true – we are big food people and we tried to say we won’t be that couple but it’s so difficult when all you want to do is dance and have fun with your favorite loved ones! Well don’t worry, Rebecca and Debbie took care of that – we went home with labeled boxes of cocktail hour food (all of it!!!), our untouched dinners, and dessert! We were ecstatic that they did this for us. The week of the wedding it had been raining quite a bit – we wanted to get married on the greens and the Powelton made it happen. They carted everyone to and from the ceremony location – no questions asked. An hour before the ceremony, the staff mutually decided the flower pieces we had ordered to be on the ground at the ceremony would have rotted due to the moist ground. Instead of putting them down anyway or saying, oh well, there will not be any décor out at the ceremony – the General Manager, Chris and Powelton board member and family friend Ann, got in the car and ran to a local farm/store to throw together the most beautiful isle for our ceremony. We actually have a picture of Chris diligently laying the hay down while Ann decorated with mums and pumpkins. It was unnecessary and above and beyond what we would expect from a venue. They truly took care of us every step of the way, from start to finish. The Powelton Club is owed 10000000000 stars for their outstanding service they provided to us. We wish we could replay the day over and over again, it was amazing!

We just recently got married at the Powelton Club this past weekend. I had to come on and write a review ASAP. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the event coordinator, Rebecca, the staff, the food and the venue. Rebecca was fabulous to work with from start to finish. We hit it off as soon as we met! She was phenomenal, has amazing attention to detail and made our day absolutely the dream wedding that we were looking for. The food is 5 star culinary quality, you’ll enjoy a tasting of your menu prior to your event. We chose to have a raw bar and antipasto bar and it was amazing. Everything was so fresh and cold. We had filet and lobster as one of our dinner options, again amazing. They work with the Pastry Garden as one of their vendors and our cake was beautifully done and tasted amazing. All of our guests are still raving about the food and the night. The bar staff and wait staff are professional, courteous and very attentive to you and your guests needs. There is a bridal suite for your own private use. The venue is beautiful and very classic. Our pictures came out beautiful. There is a beautiful tree to get married under if you choose to have your ceremony there. I can go on and on about the venue. The pricing was spot on, the food offerings were diverse and the service again was top notch. We were looking for a place to have an intimate wedding, we had just under 50 people and the Powelton Club was a wonderful choice. I look forward to having our next catered affair at the Powelton Club.

Our experience with the Powelton Club was tremendous from the beginning. Our first inquiry was responded to promptly by Rebecca, and we were given a selection of convenient times to view the grounds and the reception space. We fell in love with the venue mere seconds after getting out of the car, and we were nearly ready to give our deposit after being inside for less than five minutes. I cannot stress enough how helpful Rebecca was throughout the entire process. From menu selections, to help with vendors, to her willingness to quickly respond to emails nearly 24/7, Rebecca was there for us. There was not a single moment we felt overwhelmed or out of the loop with what was going on behind the scenes. By the time we got in for the tasting we didn’t have a single worry. Our server for the tasting was Debbie, and she was professional, helpful, and a total sweetheart. She put us at ease and dealt with the quirks of our crazy families throughout the entire afternoon. On the night of the wedding, Debbie and Rebecca were there for us every step of the way, including Debbie stepping in and doing the cake flowers that the florist dropped off without decorating. Every one of our guests raved about the food, the friendly service, and the venue itself. Choosing the Powelton Club was the best decision we could’ve made, and we have no regrets whatsoever. Book your wedding here before the secret gets out about this place and somebody else takes your date. This is THE place in the Hudson Valley to get married.

The Powelton Club was the perfect venue for our wedding day. It could not have been a better experience. From start to finish, every detail was covered. The staff went above and beyond and the service was phenomenal. As the bride and groom, we were well taken care of and never once needed a thing (Debbie was awesome!). Our guests loved every second of the event and have been raving about the experience since. The event coordinator, Rebecca Caldarella was fantastic! She made the whole planning process a stress-free and genuinely enjoyable process. She put us at ease immediately and was there every step of the way. I would not want to plan a wedding without her! If you are looking to plan a wedding, this is the place to do it. Not only are the grounds gorgeous and meticulously maintained but the building itself is beyond beautiful, we kept our additional decorations very simple because the venue spoke for itself. I would not change a single detail of our day, my only regret is that I cannot go back and experience it again and again. I had an amazing wedding at the Powelton Club in april 2018. Rebecca, the event coordinator, is absolutely amazing. she is detail oriented, organized, efficient at correspondence, and super nice!! Luckily we had beautiful weather, so we were able to have our ceremony outside. Everything went perfectly! Our guests raved about how much they loved their dinner, especially the filet minion. From the moment I chose the Powelton Club as my wedding venue through finalizing the bill after my honeymoon, Rebecca was more than accomodating and helpful and was always there to answer any questions I had, big or small. My dad also was so pleased and happy with the club that he wanted to have my brother's upoming wedding there too! I cant say enough good things about this place and Rebecca, I highly recommend!!!

My daughter got married at the Powelton Club in November 2016. What a beautiful venue, delicious dinner and spectacular experience! The wedding coordinator, Rebecca, was absolute perfection! My daughter and I did not have to concern ourselves with anything other than telling Rebecca what we wanted. She made it all happen! The wedding ceremony was lovely and moving in to the cocktail hour and reception was flawless. The attendents were unobtrusive...plates disappeared and drinks refilled without interruption. All the decorations were placed perfectly and looked stunning. The groom and his groomsmen had their own dressing area and the bride and her bridesmaids, me as well, had a beautiful dressing area, too. During the reception, my daughter and son in law had their own attendent that made sure they had everything they needed and got to eat! No stone was left unturned. Over one year later, our guests are still talking about the beautiful venue,delicious food and amazing time they had at the wedding. Many thanks to Rebecca, the Chef and all the staff at the Powelton Club for making my daughter's wedding day everything she dreamed possible!

We planned our wedding in only 4 months and new from the first moment I emailed Rebecca that we wanted our wedding here. She was so thoughtful and responsive. She answered every one of my questions and executed my vision perfectly! All of the staff at the Powelton Club was excellent. I didn't have to worry about one thing the day of my wedding because they took care of everything! The food tasted delicious and the hors' d'ouerves and antipasto station during the cocktail hour was impressive. Many of my guests commented on how beautiful it was and how attentive the staff was. The only sad thing about the day is that it's over! Thank you so much Powelton Club and Rebecca, you left beautiful memories in my heart.

AMAZING! We had our October wedding here, and it was absolutely perfect! You will love the food! We had the pasta station, Mexican street taco station, and a mashed potato bar! The passed apps were so yummy, and dinner was fantastic. Rebecca is amazing to work with, and she is there every step of the way. From setting the date to the actual day, Rebecca is professional ,and quick to respond to emails/questions. You can pick your table linens, and add extras! We brought our own Candy Bar as our party favors, and they set everything up better than I could have! We were married outside (in front of a gorgeous huge tree), and it was just perfect! You will not regret having your wedding here!

As the father of the bride this past weekend I cannot praise The Powelton Club enough. In hindsight, I would not have done anything differently. From the ceremony on the first fairway, to the cocktail hour with raw bar and over the top food everything worked out beyond our expectations. My daughter and her bridesmaids spent then entire day there getting ready and enjoying the experience as I played 18 with the groom and the guys. All worked out well and we have a new son in law and lasting positive memories from the entire event, the staff and grounds of the PC.

Rebecca is so friendly and is quick to respond to e-mails/calls. She was full of great ideas and happy to accommodate some crazy ideas I came up with as well, including having an indoor s'mores bar at one event! The wait staff is top notch and the food is always delicious. The chef had great menu ideas and even accommodated guests with food allergies. We cannot say enough great things about this venue. My fiancé and I had our engagement party there in January and unfortunately for us it happened to be a weekend there was a huge snow storm. A lot of our guests couldn't make it due to the weather but it was still a great time. Rebecca was wonderful helping us with every detail for the party, including food choices, decorations and they even were able to keep all the Christmas decoration for us. We would highly recommend this venue for any party you are planning.

I can't say enough about The Powelton Club and 5 stars certainly are not enough! We had our wedding on July 29th, 2017 after a horror fest at another venue. I contacted the Powelton Club two months before my wedding and they accommodated us with without hesitation. My worries and anxiety disappeared when I first spoke with Rebecca. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and The Powelton Club made it everything we could have imagined and more. Rebecca's attention to detail and patience were phenomenal. The food and venue was absolutely gorgeous. We received so many compliments about the food, décor and wonderful interactions our guests had with the staff. The weather was absolutely perfect! It was truly a day we will never forget. We plan to have any special occasions in the future at The Powelton Club. It is a wonderful setting, great atmosphere and has an exceptional staff. Rebecca you are the best and I couldn't have found a better person to help me breeze through my planning and make this the best day of our lives. My husband and I are truly grateful and happy we were able to have our wedding at the Powelton Club. We thank you all so much. We will remember this day for the rest of our lives and how truly amazing it was.

I HONESTLY wish I could give this higher than 5 stars. Rebecca and the staff were unbelievable. Not only did they make sure everything was perfect, but they also made sure that each guest felt personally attended too. The food was equally as wonderful. Since our wedding we keep hearing how much everyone loved the venue, the food, and the staff. Rebecca was there for us every step of the way. Anything I needed or had a question on, she was able to help. She also made sure we never felt like an inconvenience or a nuisance. We had a unique theme, and Rebecca and her staff were able to find the perfect touches and foods to go with it. I cannot thank The Powelton enough. They truly made sure that our day was exactly what we wanted, an more. My only regret is that it is over.

As a groom, having our event at the Powelton club was an easy choice. My wife and I were very pleased with how prompt and professional Rebecca and Chris were with our planning and event from start to finish. The Powelton club is always extremely professional and welcoming. In addition, the facility and grounds are always kept in the most immaculate of conditions. Rebecca was very patient and kind throughout the whole experience and extremely accommodation, making our time stress-free. Our event went perfectly thanks to her, with many guests stating it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We wouldn't hesitate to hold another event there (excluding a wedding). It was a magical evening that will be remembered for the rest of our lives and we couldn't be happier.

The ceremony was inside in front of the fireplace (plan b because of the weather) and it was still more beautiful than I could have imagined. The staff was awesome and made sure we didn't have to worry about a single thing on our big day. The chef was accommodating to my gluten free diet and made the entire menu to fit my needs which saved me from a lot of stress. Overall a great experience and a wonderful venue!

My husband and I were married at the Powelton Club in August 2016. Our wedding day was EVERYTHING I imagined and more. The venue is absolutely stunning and the club was closed for the afternoon and night for our use only. My husband and I took pictures outside and inside the club before our ceremony for about two hours. We just received our photos back from our photographer and The Powelton Club created a beautiful setting for all our photographs. We had our ceremony on the 4th hole of the golf course. It was intimate and beautiful. Our cocktail hour was held by the pool, but guests had the luxury of staying outside or moving inside for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. The food at dinner was phenomenal and the reception was absolutely perfect. Everything I had planned happened perfectly and exactly the way I wanted it. Chris is an excellent manager and helped make the night run smoothly. However, it was Rebecca, the Powelton Club's event coordinator, that made this day exactly what I had envisioned. Rebecca met with us numerous times throughout the planing process and was always available if I had any questions or concerns. Rebecca is excellent at her profession and made planning our wedding stress free. Ever since our wedding, guests are constantly complimenting us for how wonderful the night was. I highly recommend The Powelton Club for a wedding. The food and service are impeccable.

BEYOND OUR DREAMS! Our wedding was a magical day filled with love, joy and sheer elegance thanks to the Powelton Club. The magnificent oak tree on the 4th hole served as the breathtaking background that would begin our married life together. The food was exquisite - an elegant cocktail hour, followed by stations of sushi, a raw bar, filet, salmon, pasta galore, a chocolate fountain, candy bar, popcorn station. Rebecca and Chris went above and beyond include a surprise flash mob for the bride (coordinated by the bride's sister)! Even with daunting rain clouds, the Powelton Club had all hands on deck and worked to make our dreams come true! I cannot recommend them enough... truly, the best place ever!

My husband and I were married for a year before we decided to have a traditional wedding celebration at the Powelton Club. The historic decor and bright windows in the upstairs ballroom was perfect for our wedding number on a beautiful June evening. During the wedding planning process, we needed a lot of help. We are both college students and at the time I was pregnant with our son. Rebecca, the events coordinator at the club, was absolutely amazing. She was efficient, organized, knowledgeable, and guided us through the evening because we were unable to have a rehearsal. Planning a wedding, working towards graduation, and expecting a baby all at was seemed impossible, so Rebecca was able to work directly with our vendors so we didn't have to worry. And because we were already married, we were able to omit certain things from our ceremony and reception, completely personalizing it to our liking. Overall, this was the best decision we made when it came to our wedding. Powelton is beautiful, Rebecca was perfection, and the service was amazing through the entire process. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a perfect wedding day with no fuss!

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Powelton Club in June, 2015, and we couldn’t be happier with how the Club prepared for and conducted our wedding. Rebecca Caldarella, the event coordinator at the Club, walked us through every step of the process with professionalism, efficiency and ease. She is very organized and on top of things, made fantastic suggestions for both how to conduct the ceremony as well as decorating/designing the reception areas, and was incredibly encouraging and supportive throughout the entire process. Chris Diesing, the manager of the Club, is also extremely professional, easy to work with and worked hard to ensure that our menu selections were perfect. He accommodated dietary restrictions, worked with us on putting together a custom menu, and made sure every aspect of the menu was exactly perfect. The wait staff is impeccable! Each course was served right on time and expertly handled. We even had our own attendant who took care of only my wife and I throughout the entire day making sure we always had water/drinks, got to sample some of the hors d’oeuvres in between pictures, and helped to ensure we knew when to sit down so we could enjoy our dinner. So many of our family and friends have told us how it was “the best wedding they’ve ever been to” because they were so impressed with: the service; the quality, presentation and taste of the food; and the general atmosphere of the Powelton Club. We aren’t members of the Club and, in fact, had not even eaten there prior to selecting it as our wedding venue, however, it was the best wedding decision we made. I highly recommend this venue and gladly, and without reservation, give it 5 stars!

Our Wedding was a Cocktail Party -- and the Open Bar was top notch, not to mention the Appetizers, which were delicious and elegantly displayed. The decor was simple and tasteful, and the space was warm and friendly. All my guests agreed! In short, my husband and I were very, very impressed! Having lived in the Hudson Valley for many years, I would rate The Powelton Club within the Top 5 places to have your Wedding in New York!

In New York's Hudson Valley, the name Powelton Club stands for quality and tradition. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this splendid site is indeed impressive. It was even used as a backdrop in a Paul Newman movie! From the first meeting with their superb and caring staff, right through to the closing song at the reception, everything was geared to tailoring our event so that it would become a cherished memory.\rOurs began--under a full moon--poolside with fountains flowing, cool jazz and the passing of delectable Hors d'Oeuvres. It continued in their elegant Main Dining Room. The staff had graciously conducted a rehearsal in advance covering all necessary details for our entrance and the plan for the evening. A series of buffet stations featured truly delicious food. They worked for well over a year on every detail, showing total willingness, creativity and ingenuity in abiding with budget parameters. At no time were they officious. Rather, they tailored everything to the wishes of the couple, customizing all elements to create the desired total effect. The detailed events proposal also offered a score of extras, including Gift Table with Card Box, Centerpieces, Champagne Flutes, everything imaginable. When we told our guests the reception was going to be at the Powelton, we heard oohs and ahhs! This is not a wedding mill. Far from it. It's an elegant club with a longstanding reputation. Our discerning guests are still raving about the exquisite beauty of the setting, fabulous food and sheer fun we had. Despite months and months of planning, it's natural to worry about things going wrong at a reception. Not at the Powelton Club. Ours was absolutely perfect!

My experience with the Powelton Club was terrible. My fiance and I had great interest initially - the Powelton Club facility itself is spacious, elegant and it is much more unique than your typical country club wedding venue - plus it's reasonably priced. However, my experience with the staff was the issue. We met with Rebecca, the event coordinator, early on in our search for a venue and after two site visits we were strongly interested in the Powelton. Rebecca had ASSURED us that if we put down a date (which we did) then she would secure it for us, unless another couple inquired about it, and in that case she would contact us to give us a fair chance to put a deposit down. Well, about three weeks went by because we were both starting new jobs in the area. Once we were able to redirect our focus back to the wedding planning, we contacted Rebecca and she informed us that she had given our date to another couple. We were shocked and completely outraged. \r\rRebecca claimed that she tried to reach us both by email, but they were having \"some email difficulties.\" And she also claimed to have left me a voicemail, \"but it may have been the wrong number.\" Well let me clarify this, she NEVER contacted either of us by email or phone. And to top it off, the manager, Chris, didn't even contact us to apologize. I had to cc him in an email to get his attention, which he responded to and asked to speak to me over the phone about the situation. I gave him a time frame and my phone number, but never received a call. Not surprising. \r\rI usually do not post reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in this case. The Powelton Club staff does not possess integrity, courtesy or compassion for it's potential customers. I hope that this negative review helps prevent all of you from dealing with the major disappointment and dissatisfaction that we had. \r\rIn my honest opinion, I'm happy that it ended up this way. Thankfully, the staff showed their true colors early on in the process, which allowed for us to recognize their limitations and it helped prevent us from having a disastrous wedding day. \r\rWe will gladly take our business elsewhere.

We had our wedding at the Powelton Club in August 2012. Leading up to the big day Chef Chris worked with us on the menu and the selection of hors d'oeuvers (including a specially made Filipino egg roll - my wife is from the Philippines). Rebecca worked with my wife to come up with a special cocktail to be featured during our cocktail hour. \r\rAs for the day itself, the weather was perfect so we had our ceremony on the 4th fairway. We spent a little extra to have the cocktail hour by the pool. I'm so glad we decided to do that as it gave the guests another location to take in the day. The passed hors d'oeuvres were excellent as well as the dinner and accompanying courses. Oh yeah, they also provided us with our own waitress/assistant for the reception! What an amazing touch!\r\rLooking back I can't think of anything we'd change. When we look back at our wedding pictures we realize just how lucky we were to have everything go better than we imagined!\r\rThank you everyone at the Powelton Club!

We held a day after Thanksgiving wedding for about 60 people and had an amazing experience from start to finish. \r\rService: First, the coordinator for the Powelton Club, Rebecca, is detailed and very easy to work with. She accommodated every request no matter how normal or outside the box it was. She's transparent about costs and expectations, is detailed with how the day will run down to the minute, and made sure everything ran smoothly so myself and the bride didn't have to sweat anything on our wedding day. \r\rThe staff during the wedding was very friendly and efficient. We never felt rushed nor was anyone ever rude. \r\rVenue: Perfect venue for a wedding. The PC has a lot of charm with 2 fireplaces upstairs, a great bar, and different meeting places to talk and/or eat. The PC was decorated beautifully for the holiday so there was no need to spend extra money on decorations. \r\rFood: We had a lunch buffet of Italian fare (penne vodka, cheese/meat plate, salad, lemon chicken, pasta with broccoli rabe, etc) and everything was delicious. They serve fruit and cookies after. There were multiple compliments from guests about how good the food was. I was skeptical about a buffet, but we made the right choice and everything was amazing. We brought in our own cake and it was set beautifully on display and after the cutting it was cut and served quickly.\r\rValue: Nothing else we looked at offered a better bang for our buck. The price per person for food, alcohol, champagne toast was more than fair and have no complaints, especially since the food was so good. \r\rDo yourself a favor and at the very least set up an appointment with Rebecca to check out the venue, grounds, and menu options.

My wife Jill and I were married at The Powelton Club on September 6th, 2014 and our wedding experience there was exceptional. \r\rRebecca, the Powelton Club's event coordinator, made so much of the planning process a breeze with very helpful suggestions, ideas and tips. She also took some of the actual work load off of us by taking on certain tasks which would otherwise have been added work we would have had on top of everything else that goes into planning and organizing a wedding. Rebeccca's efforts certainly made a huge difference and was of great value to us as it helped ease our minds to a large degree. Emails and phone calls we're always responded to promptly so we always knew where we stood and what still needed to be done or decided upon. \r\rThe Head Chef/Club Manager Chris was very helpful in working with us to come up with the perfect cocktail hour/dinner menu fitting the exact style, feel and taste we wanted at our wedding. The food was fantastic and we got many compliments not only on our food choices but also on the overall execution which of course is to the credit of Rebecca, Chris and the Powelton Club's staff. \r\rMy wife and I wanted anything but a cookie cutter type affair and the Powelton Club not only gave us a beautiful setting in which to be wed but Rebecca, Chris and the rest of the Powelton Club staff that worked our wedding made our wedding unique yet elegant, classic and timeless as well as a time we'll never forget. The entire experience felt very personalized and we always felt we were a priority. The end result was that our wedding was just as my wife and I had envisioned our day to be and we couldn't be more grateful to Rebecca, Chris and everyone else at the Powelton Club whom helped us realize our wedding day vision. \r\rOur wedding at The Powelton Club was ultimately perfect. Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff and great pricing considering the very high level of professional service you receive. Very highly recommended.

We got married in September 2014 at the Powelton Club. It was the first venue we had visited in our search and it felt right from the moment we walked in. Rebecca the event coordinator could not have been more welcoming. She gave us print outs of menu ideas but was very clear that we could do ANYTHING. We never felt like just another couple in a cookie cutter venue. The Powelton Club made us feel special and like we were their top priority. During the planning process Rebecca was always quick to return emails and assuring me that everything would be perfect. Chris, the manager at the Powelton Club was patient and very helpful with menu ideas. Our special day was beyond words. The wait staff, the set up and FOOD exceeded our expectations. We were so pleased with the outcome because it was exactly what we had envisioned and several of our guests commented on it being one of best weddings they had been to. The backdrop of the golf course and club house made for breath taking pictures.
