A CHARMING AND UNIQUE WEDDING VENUE
WELCOME TO THE RAYMOND TUCKED AWAY NEAR JACKSON, MS The Raymond venue is listed on the National Historic Register as the Raymond Motor Company. Originally a 1920ās garage warehouse, it set empty on the town square for decades. Our dream was to create a space for community and celebration in the heart of our charming downtown. It has been our joy to carefully restore it with extra thought and intention to share a most dreamy and awe-inspiring space. The Raymond includes a DREAMY Bridal Suite, a SWANKY Groom's Suite/Lounge called The Bird Dog, an outdoor ceremony space, and an indoor/outdoor reception space. From the original exposed āchippyā brick walls and barrelled ceiling, handcrafted light fixtures, and original factory windows, The Raymond lends both character and history. With a high-end finish out and a wide-open blank canvas, you have the option of both simple and elegant and everything in between. Our outdoor ceremony space is nestled in our enchanting garden among lush greens and hidden away for intimacy. Within walking distance are old churches, antebellum homes, historical markers, and our iconic Courthouse that is celebrated as one of the stateās finest Greek Revival public buildings. With breathtaking views at every angle, we believe our venue to be truly magical. We are owned and operated by two friends and visionaries who are local residents who join many others thinking that Raymond is truly a hidden gem with untold potential. We are delighted to collectively realize a dream and fulfill a commitment to serve our community and state and provide a beautiful celebration space for all to enjoy. I do not even know where to begin as I review The Raymond Venue. My son was married here in April of 2022 and it was a magical event. The event center is historical, beautiful, elegant, and the staff is top notch. I am not even going to lie but The Bird Dog sealed it for my son! It is the coolest hangout for the groom and groomsmen. The Bridal Suite is absolutely gorgeous and so inviting for all the ladies. The event center can be designed and decorated to your taste and to fit your needs. The outdoor ceremony area is quaint and beautiful. If you are undecided and looking for a venue, schedule a tour at The Raymond Venue and see for yourself. Donāt forget to visit the amazing gift shop āThe Yellow Featherā when you stop by for your tour.

I love getting invitations to events at The Raymond Venue! It is so easy to have your BEST DAY EVER there!! The facility is top notch GORGEOUS with so many extras! I love the rustic meets elegance charm and the owners thought of every little detail including the best places all over the grounds for awesome photo opportunities! The staff are attentive, helpful and really know how to make every single guest feel special. The Bird Dog is so amazing I wanna live there. If you are searching for the perfect place for your wedding, look no further! 10 out of 10 in every way!

Love The Raymond Venue š¤ It is a beautiful place to spend your special day!! Leah and Tara have created a magical place and given special attention to every detail. Photo ops abound around every corner and on the beautiful town square outside. Access to a full staff is uncommon and a huge added bonus. The bridal suite is gorgeous and spacious with a private powder room for the bride. The guys will love The Bird Dog - thereās no other place like it!! This place is worth a visit!!

I have attended several weddings and events at this venue. This place is such a special and unique space. Every employee makes you feel welcomed. I do not think I have ever enjoyed a venue space more than The Raymond. I high recommend this place for your next event!

I attended a wedding at The Raymond in May 2023. One of the best guest experiences I have ever had. From the moment I parked the car to end of the night was an absolutely magical experience. They have thought of every detail. The Bridal Suite and Bird Dog \"get ready\" spaces are incredible. The staff is professional, friendly and right where you need them without being in the way. My favorite part was the bar service. The bride and groom choose a delicious wedding cake martini to serve as their signature drink. Such a beautiful venue! Recommending to everyone I know.

THIS IS THE PLACE.Hands down from the moment we arrived it became my favorite venue. New venues cannot possibly have the charm and character of older ones - The Raymond is on the historic register and has been redone beautifully!! I can appreciate a venue that is not only classic but also has just the right amount of modern touches. I was able to view The Bird Dog while I was there and this place for the grooms should get national attention. It's only a matter of time until this venue gets discovered and published and I can say I told you so! If you ever get a chance to attend a wedding here I know you will be as impressed as I was.

The Raymond is a hidden GEM. The town itself is so nostalgic and centrally located near Jackson without being in Jackson. The way this venue is laid out is so unique and flowed beautifully. It was obvious attention was given to every detail. I found myself even awed by the bathrooms! The staff was amazing. The entire wedding was so beautifully done and was one I will not soon forget. I thoroughly enjoyed this venue and hope to be back again soon. Hands down highly recommend!!!

The Raymond venue is such a beautiful venue. Itās a little bit of modern with a little bit of rustic. The staff is amazing, so laid back and helpful in anyway. Hands down recommend this venue any day of the year.

We could not have had a better experience at The Raymond. Claire was fabulous, both before, during and after the wedding. Even the smallest detail was taken care of and I was able to fully enjoy my daughter's wedding. They even had a list of preferred vendors to select from when we didn't know who to use. Those recommendations were also helpful and appreciated and did not steer us wrong. Without hesitation, I would recommend The Raymond for ANY event needs.

I attended my brother's rehearsal dinner at The Raymond Venue and I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate.The staff at The Raymond Venue make your event so special. They are so kind-hearted and helpful. I have been to many wedding venues and rarely is staff present at events, so this was a nice change of pace. The Raymond Venue's unique look is unmatched when it comes to photo opportunities, from bridal&groom suites to the historic downtown of Raymond.

The Raymond Venue hosted my December wedding. It's hard to put into words how GORGEOUS the space is. Not to mention, the staff goes above and beyond to be kind and helpful. They truly put you at ease. The Bridal Suite is so lovely, with its plants, vintage sofa, chandelier, and pink neon sign. I was welcomed in by Tammie - who made sure the air was set, I knew what all The Bridal Suite had to offer. My husband got to hang out in The Bird Dog, which is basically a super swanky lounge just for the boys. We got AMAZING pictures just in these two getting ready spaces. We did our first look on The Cottage porch in the courtyard another great spot for photos. My vendors loved coming to The Raymond as they were welcomed in and helped if they needed to know where something was located. I know my photographer loved shooting here as she got some swoon worthy photos inside and all around The Raymond Venue grounds plus on The Raymond square. If you have not seen this place in person, you should schedule a tour to see what it's all about! I think you will be impressed.

A magical place, attended one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to. Such a unique venue. Charming, warm, photogenic, vintage meets- classic- meets perfect. I canāt recommend Yhe Raymond Venue enough. The staff was so kind and welcoming. The rooms for the bride and her party are so exquisitely decorated. I will want to take 100ās off photos. The separate building for the groom and his party is AMAZING! . you really just see this space to appreciate what Iām saying. .

Out of all of the venues I have been to, The Raymond Venue has always stuck out to me for several reasons. They have their own staff present during set up and the event to ensure everything is taken care of. Other venues I have been to did not have that-it was just a space you rented. They are very nice, laid back, and personable. It is always a good time at The Raymond Venue.

Leah & Tara (Owner) In 2019, Leah and Tara found themselves inspired by the historic building (now The Raymond Venue) that had been sitting empty for decades in the heart of downtown Raymond. For both of them, it has been their honor to help breathe new life and energy into the space. They are so thankful for this unique community and love sharing it with others near and far.
