The Event House

The Redmoor is a unique Art Deco wedding venue located in Cincinnati, OH. Housed in a former old-school movie theater, it maintains a vintage elegance that is truly one-of-a-kind. A historical landmark turned modern event venue, The Redmoor is the perfect choice for couples who want a quirky and memorable wedding. The Redmoor was established in 1938 as an avant-garde movie theater in Mt. Lookout Square. It was the first of its kind in the area and a smashing success, often seen with long lines of people eager to get in to watch films. After a successful few decades, it became the Cinema Grille, a steakhouse-theater hybrid that was completely revolutionary for the times. After this, interior designer David Millet took over the space, renovating it into the iconic event venue that it is today. Making sure to honor its unique past yet fitting it with all the modern amenities needed for a great wedding, he was able to bring this distinct setting to life in a new way. All wedding packages include tables, chairs, glassware, silverware, and linens. The venue has a large dance floor, a raised stage, and is fitted with cordless microphones to use during your ceremony or reception. The floor plan is flexible and customized according to your preference, and the venue can accommodate up to 225 guests. There are private rooms for the wedding party to use as get-ready spaces and plenty of parking available for guests. The Redmoor even has an in-house executive chef who can work with you to create the perfect menu for your special event. From casual buffet-style dining to a formal sit-down dinner, the team at The Redmoor can do it all.

WOW. We had the MOST AMAZING experience with Mandie and her team at the Redmoor. Mandie is incredibly organized and we never felt stressed working with her. From the very first meeting, we were sold. Not only is the space fun, different, and perfect for a wedding and party, but Mandie and her team were just incredible. We heard from many guests that they were super impressed with the staff and how the event was flowing and we definitely felt the same way. We have family that work in the event/catering space and they raved about the food and service which is a testament to the Redmoor, its Chef, and the staff. Mandie handeld every detail of our day. Not once were we concerned or stressed about anything. The Redmoor provided the high touch service one should expect and we can't recommend the Redmoor enough for your special day! If good food, a fun atmosphere, and great service is what you are looking for the Redmoor is your spot!

Mandie is the best! She answered every question we had beforehand and was so helpful in accommodating us since we live outside of Cincy. She was so hands-on and detailed with everything. All of the food was delicious, and the staff killed with set up and drinks the night of! Everything went so smoothly and our guests had so much fun, we couldn’t have picked a better venue!

Mandie, Jennifer, Scott, and the rest of the team at the Redmoor made our wedding an amazing experience. In the planning process, Mandie was always available for questions and made herself available to meet with us, advise, and plan no matter how big or small the detail. Extremely organized, she made it a seamless process each and every day, even offering suggestions of vendors and decorations. On the day of, Mandie, Jennifer, and the team used our decorations to completely transform the space exactly as we'd envisioned. Scott and the rest of the team in the kitchen provided some of the hands down most delicious food we've ever tasted to our guests, and there were only rave reviews! We could not recommend the Redmoor higher for your venue needs!

Beyond being a beautiful venue full of historic, vintage charm, the Redmoor staff was beyond helpful in every facet imaginable. The organization and efficiency in helping us plan our big day made every decsion after booking the venue easier than we could have imagined. Once booking with the Redmoor, everything else fell into place. With recommendations from Mandie (who is very experienced and knowledgable) made wedding planning super easy. Beyond the planning stage, our actual wedding day was as smooth as possible. With an experienced full staff to ensure our guests were happy, as well as my husband and I. Mandie ensured that our timeline was followed to a T, and helped us organize our timeline in the planning stage to guarentee the most beautiful day I could have imagined. The venue is stunning. The food was delicious. The staff was so helpful. Mandie is knowledgable, experienced, and efficient. Book Here! You won't regret it for your own wedding day.

We can’t say enough great things about The Redmoor! Mandie and Jennifer are both great communicators, organized, easy to work with, and care about making the day go over well. Everyone we interacted with there was so kind and willing to help us (within reason, of course) to make sure things went smoothly. The food was delicious, and they were accommodating of our vegan friends, as well. We had 0 stress with regards to the venue or the food because of how great this team is.

The Redmoor is the PERFECT wedding venue. Our guests complimented the unique look, the amazing staff and the delicious food. Mandie is awesome. She helps you stay on track in the planning process and makes sure you stay organized and not overwhelmed. She helps handle all details and takes a load of stress off! The day of my wedding I forgot 2 guests place cards (and meals lol) but Mandie found them a seat and a meal and I didn’t even know until after my honeymoon!! The staff is amazing and really it’s the best service I’ve ever seen at a wedding. S/O to Bobby for making sure my husband and I had a cold bud light at all times! Seriously book the Redmoor for your wedding!!!!!!!

I would give The Redmoor more than 5 stars if I could! Mandie and her team are so professional and organized, she was able to put this anxious bride at ease. She is so on top it! She came through on everything promised before, during and after our wedding! If great food is a priority for you at your wedding, you have to go with The Redmoor. It was AMAZING! We got loads of compliments from our guests about how Chef Scott’s food was so much better than typical wedding food. We made a couple of requests outside of the typical menu they were able to accommodate, like Argentine-style empanadas for the groom’s side of the family. They were praised as very authentic by those who came from Argentina! We loved the space and the vibe as perfect for what we were going for-timeless elegance. We were glad we didn’t have to add a ton of decor since the space is already beautiful. We are looking forward to attending other events there in the future!

This venue was perfect! Centrally located, great horseshoe bar with a fantastic staff. If you're looking to throw a party to remember for your special day this is the spot. I can't rave enough about the whole staff, specifically Jennifer. From the first tour, to tastings, to the day of she communicated flawlessly and always ensured we were taken care of.

My husband and I have been raving about Mandie and her team--before, during, and after the wedding. We are recommending them to every one of our newly engaged friends and hoping we'll get to go back soon! From start to finish, Mandie was on top of it. She responds to emails quickly, she has a plan for you and helps you think about organization points you didn't even consider. She makes sure that you have a great time as the couple but also that your guests have a great time via a timely, well-oiled reception. Everyone loved the staff, the atmosphere, THE FOOD, the drinks, and all the extra touches The Redmoor is proud to provide. Some bonuses: we saved on our food and drink budget by offering cheaper kids' meals options and by not having to pay for an open bar for anyone under 21 or working as a vendor. Loved the added touch of the marquee out front. Loved the customizable light packages. Loved the in-house sound technician. Loved that everything was set up for us and beautifully so. Loved everything about The Redmoor. They are top-tier.

We had an issue with a different vendor and Mandie helped handle that as well. The bar service was amazing, the food was exceptional (and all my guests loved the food also!) Our wedding would not have been much fun and personalized if it weren't for Mandie and her great space!

The Redmoor was the absolute perfect place to have our wedding reception! Mandie walked us through every detail to ensure we didn’t miss anything, made awesome recommendations and went out of her way to get us what we needed. From the moment we walked into the venue, and even after we left, we were so pleased. Mandie even went out of her way to save the top part of our cake which meant a lot to us. Our favorite part was the food, it was incredible. The wait staff was so on top of it that I never had to leave the dance floor or worry about my guests waiting. It truly was the most stress free and relaxing day because I didn’t have to worry about what was going on at the venue. I recommend this spot for anyone. Our guests had amazing things to say about the venue and how much fun they had!

We can not say more positive things about The Redmoor!! This was such a perfect venue to get married. They are family owned and we loved that. Mandie was so amazing and easy to work with. She was responsive, organized and made our day so perfect. Mandie took my exact vision of what I wanted for our ceremony and reception and made it come to life. Her staff was attentive and made our wedding go so smoothly. Having the food included in this venue was very convenient. Mandie's husband is the chief and cooks all the food on your wedding day. The food was DELICIOUS and we had several friends mention to us afterward that they loved the food. We also had a lot of family and friends rave about how cool the venue was. This venue really was so unique and has so much character. If you are looking for an awesome wedding venue with amazing food and someone easy to work with, look no further!! My husband and I had our vow renewal ceremony here September 4th 2021. The Redmoor was the perfect venue for us. It has such character for a wedding venue, if you are looking for something unique. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We have heard back from SO many guests stating that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The staff were amazing and so helpful. Mandie and Jennifer were our planners, and were a great duo. They were so helpful and made the experience so stress free. I could not have asked for more from a wedding venue or venue staff! We planned to have our reception here in 2020, but postponed when covid hit. Mandie was so accommodating when we were rescheduling. She worked with us to make sure every detail was accounted for. On the day of the reception, the staff put out our decorations, and made sure everything was perfect so we could enjoy the night. Our guests absolutely loved the atmosphere of the venue, several people told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had, and the signature drinks the redmoor helped us with were a hit! I couldn’t imagine a more helpful staff or a better environment for our reception! Such a beautiful space!

Wow, we can’t rave enough about Mandie, Scott and the whole Redmoor staff. They made things so easy and were absolutely wonderful to work with. They took care of all the logistics so we didn’t have any stress and could truly just enjoy our evening.Everything was reasonably priced and the quality and deliciousness of the food, drinks, and service was unbeatable!The servers and bartenders were so kind and made sure my husband and I were well taken care of all night. My plate was always full and my glass never empty.If you’re looking for a place to hold an event, look no further. The Redmoor is the real deal and well make your event one to remember!

Our daughter's Halloween 2020 wedding reception turned out better than we expected. Mandie helped us with everything to make the day special for our daughter and our new son in law. The venue is gorgeous all on its own but you can still tailor it to make it look unique for you. The staff was pleasant and we had good service. Most of our guests, including the bride and groom, had never been there before and were very impressed. We were very pleased and happy we chose The Redmoor.

We had our wedding here on October 26, 2019. It was absolutely spectacular. I could not have imagined a better place to marry my soul mate and celebrate with my friends and family. Let's start with Mandie: Mandie was so accommodating with all of the things we wanted for our big day (and boy, there was a lot). She responded quickly to my emails and made my vision come true. On the day of, she made everything so unbelievably relaxed and carefree, there was nothing I had to worry about that day except for tripping while walking down the aisle. ;) She made our wedding more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Let's talk about the food: I have two words: AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Our guests were STILL talking about the New York Strip, potatoes, chicken, and our appetizers. Thank you so much for making our best day into a dream. :)

The Redmoor helped create the best wedding experience for us! Everything ran smooth and the place looked amazing! The Redmoor’s layout helps create a unified feel no matter if you’re sitting at the table, dancing the night away on the dance floor, or grabbing a drink at the bar; it felt like everyone was part of the party! Mandie was nothing short of spectacular. From day one, she was calm and collected (like she’s done it a million times 😉)! Her advice, input, and responsiveness was exactly what we wanted and needed when planning a wedding! We had no doubt and was able to hand of duties to her knowing it would turn out perfect! Mandie took to working with our other vendors prior to the week of the wedding taking additional pressure off of me and my fiancé. The Redmoor staff is professional, smart and HAPPY day of - ensuring anything we needed and/or wanted was done, with pleasure. The food was hot, seasoned and pleasurably memorable. The Redmoor is awesome! I am so happy we went with them for our reception venue. It is a beautiful venue and very unique. I worked with Mandie and she is the best. She was so easy to work with and very helpful with all of my questions. I told her how I wanted the tables set up and Mandie did a beautiful job. She helped build out the reception timeline and made sure everything flowed smoothly. Everything was perfect.The food was amazing. Plus, it was so nice not having to have another vendor to deal with to cater the food. They are willing to customize the menu to what you want. I wanted an appetizer with bacon and they came up with a BLT lettuce cup appetizer. It was delicious (and went quick). We also used the popcorn machine, which was so much fun. We also had some late night pizza (delicious!). All the food was great. Overall, I highly recommend The Redmoor. Mandie and her team are great.

My daughter’s wedding at the Redmoor was outstanding in every way. Brian was so helpful and cooperative throughout the entire process. The appetizers were a huge hit and the dinner was delicious. Many of our guests commented not only on the high quality of the dinner, but the beautiful presentation as well. The warm, cozy, and nostalgic atmosphere was the perfect setting for her special day. There were plenty of servers and the service was efficient and friendly the whole evening. The Redmoor is a little piece of heaven right in Mt. Lookout. I can’t compliment this venue enough. I give it a five star rating!

The Redmoor deserves more than a five star review! If you want a stress free wedding reception, look no further! Brian and Mandie are so incredibly easy to work with and accommodating. We didn’t have to worry about the set up or break down of the room. The in-house food and beverage package provides a wide variety of delicious options and convenience of not needing an outside caterer. We received so many compliments on the fun atmosphere at The Redmoor. The marquee outside adds a fun touch to the venue! We held our wedding reception at The Redmoor and don't think we could have found a more perfect setting for it! Brian worked with us to create the perfect reception. He was there for us right off the bat, even from our very first meeting to just tour the venue we knew that we could rely on him and that he would take care of us. Having in-house food and drinks was a major selling point for us along with the cool atmosphere and the reasonable price. The food was really really good (especially the lasagna! highly recommend!)I was stressing about all of my decorations, DIY photobooth, and dessert table and Brian met us a couple days early to drop it all off and go through how we wanted it set up. That took a load of stress off of us and knew we were in good hands to have Brian set it all up the day of the reception. And it all looked great when we arrived! He greeted us at the door and took care of everything throughout the evening and stayed til the end to help clean up. All of the other staff that night were incredibly nice and helpful too.If you're looking for an all-in-one reception venue, I highly recommend The Redmoor!

What you can't see in pictures is the cool, controlled confidence that the Redmoor staff not only has, but instilled in us. No matter what we threw at them, Mandie had it completely in hand. Communication was always prompt and easy and she was with us until the very end of the reception. Wedding planning can be so stressful (especially for us who were planning from out of state) but dealing with the Redmoor was a downright RELIEF! It goes without saying, too, that the interior is striking, bar is beautiful, sound system is top-notch, and how do you not love that marquee?

Brian and his crew did a marvelous job orchestrating our daughter's wedding reception . They set up our flowers on the tables and venue along with other decorative touches . The food was perfect and our guests were complimentary. The bar was well staffed and our guests served quickly. Brian had many great suggestion such as advising me the father of the bride to change my shirt and drink a large glass of water after 90 plus degree wedding outside. Brian had valuable cost saving suggestions that were much appreciated. I have shared with many of our friends what a fine job that the Redmoor did to make our daughter's day special.

We could not have been happier with The Redmoor. From the day we decided to have our wedding at the Redmoor, to the day of the wedding, we had the best experience. Mandie, one of the owners and our primary contact, was incredibly receptive to our ideas, provided important suggestions and feedback, and was responsive and timely. Our wedding day went perfectly thanks to her attention to detail. We provided the decorations, but she did the decorating for us (with creative liberties from us) and she exceeded our expectations. Their food is homemade, and we received so many comments from our guests saying it was the \"best wedding food they've ever had.\" Our guests also commented on how smoothly the evening went, as Mandie helped keep everything flowing and on schedule. And the venue itself provides an exciting atmosphere that lends itself to having a fun experience. As a non-traditional wedding, we were so impressed by the kindness of the entire staff and were surprised when all the servers chose to wear our equality pins (party favors). It made us feel very welcome and amplified our experience. We have no regrets and don't have enough positive things to say about our experience with the Redmoor!

Mandie is incredibly knowledgeable and her calm disposition and planning process made it easy to work through all of the details. If I could give 10 stars I would. I cannot say enough about The Redmoor. Mandie and Chef Scott and their staff do a phenomenal job. The food was AMAZING. Mandie and Scott make you feel like family. They leave no detail unfinished, are always responsive, flexible, and amazing people. I could write an essay on why to choose The Redmoor. Simply put, I wanted an epic wedding. Guest after Guest have messaged me saying I had the best wedding they have ever been too. The Redmoor offers so much! You can customize it to fit your personality! Mandie really takes so many worries away by getting to know you and being amazing at her job. I handed her my decorations and she went to work. She created my vision perfectly! I can not say enough about The Redmoor. If any of these other 5 star reviews aren't enough to convince you to use the Redmoor for your wedding reception, let me elaborate on my love for the place. Brian Feldkamp was hands down the absolute best person to work with. They were so unbelievably accommodating and helpful every step of the way with every single request and last minute meeting. The pricing was comparable to other venues and reasonable for the outstanding service they provided. The venue itself was absolutely perfect-we had soooo many compliments on how beautiful and nice it was. They helped us with every detail we wanted to include, they helped us set up all of our tables, and they met the wedding party at the door when we arrived to help carry our stuff, get our drink orders, and get us ready for the entrance to name a few of the things they did for us. But what made it absolutely spectacular was not having to worry about anything leading up to and on my wedding day because Brian took care of absolutely everything.

The Redmoor was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. People have been telling us even weeks later that our wedding was one of the best they've ever been to, and I attribute that to the Redmoor for making it happen. We felt cared for and attended to every step of the way. Mandie, our contact, was patient and poised no matter the questions we threw at her. The food was amazing (they even made a custom appetizer for us!), the drink package was so generous, and the venue layout was perfect for our live band. The event packages and contract were straightforward, easy to read, and reasonably priced.We were worried about parking since Mt Lookout can be hard to navigate, but there was a surprisingly ample parking lot behind the building. As most brides usually are, I was also really stressed the week of the wedding, but Mandie went above and beyond in assuaging my worries. After all, what venue would happily lend you a cake cutting set when you realize two days before that you don't have one? What venue would even help you finalize your card box the day before the wedding!?Overall, our wedding was so smooth and perfect, and I owe the majority of the easy logistics to Mandie and her teams' capable hands. Thank you for helping us have the perfect wedding reception.

The Redmoor is PHENOMENAL! Brian and his staff go above and beyond to meet your every need to make sure you have a spectacular night. They made sure everything was perfect and even added in some extra lights that they knew we really wanted but couldn't afford. All of our guests remarked on the beautiful, unique venue and the delicious food! I loved having our names posted on the sign outside and taking pictures underneath. The Redmoor is worth every penny! Brian even helped out with coordinating everything so the entire night went smoothly. They also reply quickly and work with you throughout the entire time leading up to your wedding. I got married here on 6/3/17 and it was incredible. Mandie and the staff at the Redmoor are absolutely amazing and know how to put on a great party and how to seamlessly organize everything they way you want it. We could not have asked for a better night and had many guests comment on what a great venue this was. Not only did they accommodate all of our guests with special dietary needs, but they also customized our menu to put exactly what we wanted to be served that night. On top of all of that, the staff went above and beyond and helped us clean off our car when our friends covered it in toilet paper, icing, honey, and all kinds of other messy things! I cannot recommend this place enough! You will not regret it, and will have the time of your life there!

We had our wedding here on April 7, 2017. I cannot say enough about this venue. Brian was amazing to work with from day one. This venue was the third venue we looked at on our first day looking after we got engaged. From the moment we walked into the Redmoor we felt so at ease with everything. Wedding planning is a stressful time and there is something about Brian that put us at ease. He had an answer to every single question we had. He worked with us to create a custom menu for our guests and the food was absolutely amazing! You will not be disappointed. Brian communicated with us the entire 14 months leading up to our wedding. We were able to visit the venue as many times as we wanted. He did not miss a single detail. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating as well. As soon as I walked in after pictures, the bridal party went upstairs to wait until time for the ceremony to start. Someone from the staff was upstairs right away asking if we needed anything and wanted drinks. We were able to drop off our decorations the Monday before the wedding and Brian made notes about how we wanted everything set up. We didn't have to worry about a single thing that day. The staff put everything out for us. Brian stays with you the entire day and makes sure things go smoothly and start on time. He even made sure the train on my dress was straight before I walked down the aisle. My wedding was over a month ago and people are still making comments about how amazing our venue was. My grandmother is on oxygen and a staff member got her a plate at dinner time so she wouldn't have to worry about it. I had the most perfect day thanks to The Redmoor and Brian. Book this venue! I promise you will NOT regret it!!

If you want to have the night of your life at your wedding, go with the Redmoor. We first looked at the Redmoor because we wanted a place with character and we definitely found it! It's a 1920s movie theater transformed into an event center with a beautiful bar and decorations.The planning process with Mandie went very smoothly. She met as often as we wanted to and knew what all we needed to do. We were a relatively hands-off couple and she made sure we had all of the details taken care of.The day of, she and her staff took care of it all. They will set the place up for you and tear it down so you don't have to stay after your own wedding to clean up! The food and drinks were WONDERFUL. We went with heavy hors d'oeuvres and I'm so happy we did. I highly recommend the shrimp, steak skewers, and spinach artichoke puffs (everything was good but I found myself wanting many of these!). They have a craft beer package so you can add local craft beers to your menu, and the liquor drinks were perfect. The atmosphere of the place was everything I could have wanted. Having the dance floor down at the bottom by the stage really encourages dancing because people don't feel like they're on display. Our guests could eat, dance, and mingle as they pleased.Truly, I have nothing but good things to say about the Redmoor. Mandie was absolutely delightful and although it went by too quickly, we had a perfect night! Could not say enough great things about it!

We had our wedding at the Redmoor in April, 2016. Mandy and her team went above and beyond for us and our guests, and made every step of the process easy and even enjoyable. The early planning, the rehearsal, the ceremony, and the reception all went as smoothly as we could have hoped. The food was amazing - nearly a year later our guests are still talking about it! Mandy was very active during our reception, troubleshooting small issues and making sure our guests did not experience any problems. The Redmoor staff gave us and our guests an amazing evening and some great memories! We highly recommend their services to anyone for any event.

I could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception last month! Brian and his team were amazing to work with and took care of every detail I could have thought of. I was planning the wedding from another city, so Brian was very helpful and worked around my parents and I to meet this past year when I was home. Being able to drop everything off the day or two before the reception and walk in that night with everything exactly as I had imagined was invaluable. The food, bar, and service were all spectacular. We wanted somewhere where we could have an old school Hollywood/jazz club feel, and the Redmoor was perfect. The layout of the Redmoor is great for a unforgettable party with a huge dance floor at the front. They went with our vision and said they hadn't seen the dance floor that full in a long time. Thank you to the Redmoor for helping us create such a memorable wedding and party with all our friends and family!

We loved our wedding at the Redmoor! Brian is so easy to work with. He has a lot of experience with weddings, so he is able to give you good advice when you are making decisions. The food was good. In fact, we liked the food better the night of the wedding than we did during our tasting! We had our ceremony and reception both at the Redmoor, and we wouldn't have changed a thing! Everything ran so smoothly. Brian works well with your other vendors such as DJ, flowers, and photographer to make sure that everyone is on the same page. The staff was very accommodating and made sure our guests had everything they needed all night long. Another amazing thing that they do at the Redmoor is that they will set up EVERYTHING. All you have to do is drop off boxes of decorations and explain to him how you want everything (or take pictures to send him), and he and his staff put all of the decorations out! That way you get to enjoy your weekend completely carefree knowing that the venue is going to be beautiful and taken care of by the time you get there. Our favorite thing about the Redmoor is the fact that it is the type of venue that people will have FUN at! Our guests hung out at the bar and dance floor all night, and we have had tons of friends and family tell us it was one of the funnest weddings they've been to. The theater type of venue really sets the mood for people to have a good time. Brian was also very flexible and easy to communicate with. I wanted to come up one day in October when I was off work and try out my decorations to make sure everything was coming together the way I wanted. He had no problem meeting with me, helping me put the decorations out, giving me some tips, and then helping me pack it back up and load it into the car. It was so nice to be able to get into the venue and do a trial run with the decorations and get the peace of mind that everything was coming together. Thank you Brian and Mandie for everything you did to make our day so special!

The food was great. In comparison with other weddings I've been involved in, the budget vs result was amazing. I had the fanciest wedding at our budget possible. Give The Redmoor a look.

This is the BEST VENUE in the entirety of the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. I got married here in October 2016, and let me tell you... it was worth every single penny. Mandie, the venue owner, is an amazing woman who is kind, generous, and really knows how to help you plan and coordinate your wedding. She helped my wedding along perfectly day-of, and honestly was one of the reasons I was relaxed and comfortable enough to enjoy my wedding day.This venue is very affordable for what it is. You can use this venue for both ceremony and reception (which you should!) AND it looks AMAZING. They do all the catering, they do all the set-up/clean-up, they don't charge extra to use tables/chairs/PA system/parking/table cloths/napkins/plates/silverware... I visited and read about so so so many venues, but they have MANY hidden costs. At the Redmoor, you pay for the space and dinner. THAT'S IT.The Redmoor has also acquired a disco ball, alters, and other goodies you might want to use for your wedding. Definitely ask Mandie about it and see what the pricing is.All in all, this was a great venue and my wedding wouldn't have been as awesome without it. Mandie is great, and you will come to LOVE HER as the big day unfolds. I hope you will add this venue to your 'to visit' list. They truly are one-of-a-kind and fantastic!!

My (now) wife and I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience of having our wedding at the Redmoor. Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the extremely professional and helpful staff was just top notch. The lady who we worked with as an event coordinator, Mandie (who I believe is one of the co-owners) knew exactly what was supposed to happen and when, she kept us on track throughout the evening, and she and her staff solved any problems that came up before the event and throughout the evening without any input from us. While the whole experience was great, I also want to share some particularly standout moments.About a week before the wedding we had a pretty major issue with the DJ we had booked. The Redmoor staff were able to find a replacement DJ at extremely short notice and get all of the logistics taken care of before we even knew there was a problem with the original DJ, which was fantastic.We had ordered a cake and cupcakes for the wedding, but the baker's delivery person made a mistake the day of and only delivered the cake. Mandie handled the whole thing without us having to worry about it, and the cupcakes arrived without any of the guests noticing there was a problem.I also want to take a moment and mention how great the food was. I'm not sure how it's possible to properly cook upwards of 100 steaks in the span of 20 minutes (not to mention some fish and vegetarian dishes thrown in for good measure), but they managed to pull it off. We also had some late night snacks that disappeared very quickly (because they were delicious and my wife recommends the crab rangoon), but Mandie made sure that she saved some so that my wife and I could try them.One last point is that we had some pretty unusual AV setup requests that the in-house sound engineer handled with aplomb. He was also extremely nice and a joy to work with.Overall (in case it isn't already obvious), we had a fantastic wedding and reception, and The Redmoor and their staff was directly responsible for a large portion of that success. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Two words to describe my experience: absolutely flawless. The venue speaks for itself in terms of aesthetic and upkeep, but what you need to know is that you can 100% put your faith in Mandie Merritt and her team, and know that they will execute your vision. We were guided through the process, asked all the right questions, and never given a moment's pause or stress. The wedding and reception were seamless and many guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to.We had a lot of dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, lactose intolerant, etc.), and our guests didn't have to suffer through another boring pasta dish because the Redmoor chef truly cares about delivering a high quality meal to every guest. The food was amazing, the drink selection was on-point, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. They made it all so easy, and appear so effortless. As the bride, I literally didn't have to worry about a thing, including set up and tear-down, and that made all the difference.I could easily hit the 3,000 word max on this review, but in the interest of brevity I'll leave it with this: we could not have been happier with the space, service, staff, food & bev, and overall event management. And when we consider total cost... the value is unbeatable.

The Redmoor was AMAZING! Where do I begin? I planned our wedding from New Jersey and Mandie was more than accommodating to meet/talk whenever I was in town. She guided me throughout the entire planning process and made it SIMPLE! As for the day of the wedding... The Redmoor's staff was great! They were friendly, professional, and it seemed they genuinely wanted us to have a stress-free time. The location is beautiful and we got amazing pictures under the marquee. Brian and the rest of the staff at The Redmoor were incredibly helpful from day one. He was very thorough in going through every detail of our evening and was always willing to meet, even just for a few minutes, to answer any questions or concerns that we had along the way. Our reception was setup perfectly upon our guests' arrival and we had SO many comments on how both the appetizers and main course were the best food our guests have every had at a wedding. Brian and his staff made sure everything was taken care of throughout the evening, so my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would 100% recommend this venue - it is unique and full of character, the staff takes care of EVERYTHING, and there are so many options to really customize your event to be exactly what you want it to be. Mandie and Brian epitomize professionalism and are so helpful, that we didn't have a need for a wedding planner or day of coordinator. Planning a wedding from out of town (SC) was tricky but Mandie was so thorough and quick to answer questions and give suggestions/feedback. They both have a sense of calm to them that instantly puts you at ease and have no problem trusting them with your big day. Mandie saw my vision and when I walked into the venue that before the ceremony, I was brought to tears at how perfectly executed everything was. Mandie and Brian were so attentive to my needs as well as my fiance's, our families, bridal party, and guests. Our guests raved about the unique atmosphere and quality of service. And the food! It is amazing. One of our focal points when booking a venue was making sure the food would be hot, delicious and not run out. The Redmoor makes everything in house, from scratch and it does not disappoint. Many of our guests walked away saying that they want their daughters to use The Redmoor someday. I cannot thank Mandie and Brian enough for all they did to make our day absolutely perfect.

What a great choice this was to not only hold our reception, but our ceremony as well. Mandie was a pleasure to work with, and she really knows her stuff. I had everything planned but as the days came closer anything that fell through the cracks she was ready for! She was great with communication and made sure that my wedding day came through seamlessly. The staff is friendly, coordinated and very professional. AND THE FOOD. It was all perfect. Not a complaint from anyone! \r\rOverall, everything about my venue was perfect and it all goes to the amazing coordinators and staff! If I could give more stars I would.

The Redmoor was the stage for our New Year's Eve wedding, and it could not have been better. Both Brian and Mandy, the co-owners, were wonderful to work with through the entire planning and actual event. Both of them were very accessible, helpful, informative and great at planning a wedding event. They even went as far as to provide the names of a creative vendor that added a balloon drop along with an amazing live band resulting in the entire event coming together beautifully. Our guests enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by the Redmoor cooks, and we received many compliments on the food and service. Overall, we really can't say enough good things about our entire wedding experience. We would recommend this venue again and again. -Robyn & Chris

Brian and the staff at the Redmoor were amazing! We did not have a wedding planner and Brian was always available and easy to reach to give his experienced opinion on everything such as decorations, vendors, and timeline. He was even happy to accommodate a special beer request for the wedding which was very appreciated. The night of the event his staff took care of everything. They were very attentive to all of the guests and made the night all the more enjoyable.\r\rThe venue was great as well! All of our guests loved the charming atmosphere and décor. From all of our searching for reception halls we didn’t find another one that was as charming or well laid out in Cincinnati. \r\rThe food also well exceeded our expectations. We received many compliments on the passed appetizers as well as the entrees. Once again the staff did an amazing job not only preparing the food but serving the appetizers and making sure the food on the buffet was fresh!\r\rWe certainly can’t imagine having our wedding at any other place! We fully recommend the Redmoor to anyone looking for a wedding venue!\r

My husband and I absolutely loved getting married at The Redmoor.\r\rMandie, our contact and coordinator, was with us every step of the way. She made herself extremely available to us, so it was easy to take care of forgotten details or last minute arrangements.\r\rThe food was amazing. I mean, I wasn't expecting the food to be bad, but I certainly never expected food catered for such large groups of people to be quite as delicious as it was! We and all of our guests were very impressed with the offerings. They were also very good about helping our guests with food allergies get a full meal; between indicating which dishes contained which allergens and plating in special meals for people who couldn't eat from the buffet, the staff made sure every one of our guests was happily fed.\r\rCompared to most of the other venues we were looking at for our size of wedding (150-200), the Redmoor was a great value, especially considering how much they include. They even assembled and set up our centerpieces for us! All I had to do was bring all of the components and create a sample to model off of.\r\rThe Redmoor also did a great job of working with our other vendors. They took care of making sure that everything went according to plan so that we could really enjoy our day and spend time with our guests.\r\rI highly recommend this venue!

The Redmoor was an absolutely amazing vendor to work with. From start to finish they have been incredibly helpful, flexible, and professional. They provided guidance throughout the process on a variety of different aspects of the wedding. The day of the wedding I did not have to worry about anything. They took care of coordinating with my vendors, getting everything set up, and continuously checked in with my husband and me to make sure we were taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. They helped make this day one of the best and most fun days of my life. I would highly recommend to any bride and groom looking for a unique and fun space.

The Redmoor did an amazing job with every aspect of our reception. I cannot recommend them enough!\r\rThey provided an amazing, unique location (an art deco building that used to be a movie theatre and now serves as a reception hall and music venue), as well as a full bar, and in-house catering with an incredible chef. We're still getting compliments about how delicious the food was! \r\rThe staff were very attentive, helpful, and polite throughout the whole event. Mandie, one of the owners, was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process and made it easy for me as the bride to relax and let her run the show on the big day. \r\rAs for the cost, the Redmoor is very reasonably priced. We had 125 guests, and for the venue rental, tables, chairs, linens, bar, food, setup, teardown and the million other little things Mandie and her staff did to help me maintain my sanity, we ended up around the $10K mark. For the quality of food, service, and uniqueness of the venue, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal anywhere else in town. \r\rIf you're looking for a unique venue, delicious food, and unmatched service, the Redmoor is the place for you.

I can't say enough about Mandie and her staff at the Redmoor. She didn't miss a beat at my reception. I had a few out of the box ideas and she didn't have any trouble accommodating all of my requests. She made food that wasn't listed on the menu and set up everything exactly how I requested. There was a room upstairs where I was able to gather with my new husband and wedding party and her staff served us immediately upon arriving. The food was delicious and my guests raved about the venue. I couldn't ask for anything better. THANK YOU!

I had my October 2014 wedding at the Redmoor and am so happy I did! There are so many reasons why I loved it.\r \r1. The space is beautiful and so unique. No matter where you are inside the Redmoor, you can see anything and everything going on! We didn't have to worry about guests feeling excluded and not being able to see/hear dances, cake cutting, speeches, etc. It was so great for us to be able to see everyone as well! The dance floor is huge which we loved, and the bar is so unique!\r2. The food and beer choices. The food was so delicious and we had so many people compliment the food. One of the key selling points for me on the Redmoor was their wide variety of beer choices! We had 13 bottled beer choices, and 8 beers on draft (including Rhinegeist, Great Lakes, Bells, Founder's, Guinness, etc.). I love craft beers and this definitely set the Redmoor apart from every other reception place I viewed that offered just a few standard beer flavors.\r3. Working with Mandie. She was phenominal to work with made the entire process very easy and stress free. It felt like I was working with a friend who had my best interest in mind at all times. I can't say enough wonderful things about Mandie and the rest of the staff at the Redmoor.\r\rOverall, the Redmoor is incredible. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for us, not only on the wedding day, but for the year of planning leading up to it.

Amazing venue! We chose this venue as our ceremony/reception site based off of our theme and it was reasonably priced. The owner was great and very patient with us. The food was GREAT! If you are looking for a place that will give you A+ service and can pretty much run without a day of coordinator this is your place. Staff is awesome and very polite.

I have been lucky enough to attend 2 events at The Redmoor this year, one being my own. My wife and I decided on a less traditional event, a Sunday brunch.\r Mimosas are always a big hit at these affairs, but I must admit, at first I thought this might be outside the expertise of this event house. Boy was I pleasantly surprised, the dishes served were scrumptious and I was introduced to a new favorite - frittatas!\r My wife is a fan of karaoke and The Redmoor provided us with a top notch sound engineer,wedding bells never sounded so good.\r I also attended a nighttime wedding event, the marriage of my wife's cousin, genuine class, from the filet mignon to the amazing bechamel sauce served with chicken cordon blue, the staff even recognized my wife and I after only being there once like we were regulars. It was absolutely beautiful.\rThe bartenders were always johnny on the spot, excellent service, which is great for those of us just a little uncomfortable in a suit and tie..\r I highly recommend The Redmoor for any event, the food is great, the atmosphere is amazing, and the sound system is unbelievable, but most of all, the versatility of The Redmoor guarantees it's a place you'll visit more than once.

Brian and Mandy (the owners) and their entire staff were extremely wonderful. They were experienced, efficient and accommodating of all of our needs. They gave us helpful tips on how to really get the most bang for our buck and they were constantly checking in to make sure we had what we needed. It was such a wonderful night with a huge dance floor, great bar setup and a secret room for taking a breather. That really came in handy! The staff the night of prepared AMAZING food! Our guests are still raving about it, and the staff was so so friendly and helpful. Even cleaning up after went smoothly because they helped us organize and figure out what needed to be done. I would highly recommend using the Redmoor! Also the location can't be beat! They valet parked our guests and then there were plenty of bars and places to get food after the wedding for our friends who weren't ready to end the party.

Brian and his team at The Redmoor are fantastic in every way. They walked us through the process from start to finish in a professional manner, all the while warming up to us just as if they were guests at the wedding. The food was excellent, the coordination was perfect, the venue was beautiful, they gave great recommendations and tips as things came up, and made everything as easy as possible for us to enjoy our big day. So many of our guests complimented how the reception went and how smooth and gorgeous it all was, and we owe that in large part to Brian and his team!!! Thanks guys, you all were great! We would recommend The Redmoor to everyone we know.

Our wedding at The Redmoor exceeded any expectations we had for our wedding reception. From the first sit down with Brian to the last song of our perfectly orcastrated wedding reception, The Redmoor took care of our every want and need. The initial time line was easily pushed back because of a rain delay. This meant the amazing buffet, which every guest complimented us on, had to be pushed further back in the night. Vendor meals, excellent wait staff and bar tenders, children meals ready to go when we got there and even making sure a diabetic guest received a piece of cake first. Those are just some of the reasons The Redmoor deserves every bit of praise that can be given. I highly recommend having any function here, you will not be disappointed. \r

Our experience at The Redmoor couldn't have been better! The venue was perfect for our wedding size (we had roughly 80 guests), though the room could have accommodated a larger and smaller group. The room has a nice decor, and very little additional decoration for the wedding was required. Many of the wedding decorations that were needed (table centerpieces, etc.) were also provided by the Redmoor. The food was fabulous, and the service was fantastic! Many of our family and friends commented on how much they enjoyed the experience. As the bride and groom, we were treated like royalty. Mandie was very easy to work with, and was very accommodating for the requests we had. The reception couldn't have gone smoother. There isn't a better place in Cincinnati for a wedding reception!

Absolutely excellent. We booked the Redmoor after having reception-venue-hopped a ton of places all around the area. Almost every place wanted to charge us for every little things, like napkins and table arrangements, everything was way out of our budget, and the people didn't feel very welcoming, when we went to the Redmoor however, it was a totally new experience. We first fell in love with Mandie, who is one of the two owners of the Redmoor, she showed us around and told us about their packages, they do all of the (amazing) food, alcohol, and service. She assured us that they would do everything in their ability to make our day perfect. All of Mandie's promises absolutely rang true. Later in our planning after we had booked, we ended up meeting with the other owner, Brian, who was just as delightful and as easy to work with as Mandie. Brian did the taste testing with us, which included my now husband and I and our parents and his sister (which is included in booking them). We tried 8 different things, and it was only us and Brian at the tasting. We loved everything, so it was a very hard decision to pick our entrées.\r\rThe day of our wedding went off amazingly. We brought all of our center pieces to the Redmoor two days previous to the wedding, and the crew there had everything set up beautifully for us the day of. We were also able to pick our colors of napkins and table cloths to match with our wedding palette, at no extra charge. The service throughout the night was exceptional, you could hardly tell they were there, but I had a drink in my hand whenever I needed one, and our plates cleared at just the right time.They saved 2 plates of appetizers for the bridal party, which were served during cocktail hour while we were having pictures taken. And they even had our drinks there waiting for the whole wedding party upon arrival to the reception! \r\rWe truly cannot thank the Redmoor enough for their amazing service. Our wedding reception was absolutely beautiful and perfect. They made us feel completely as ease, and I am so happy we went with the Redmoor! The space is beautiful, and the people who own and run it are truly the best in Cincinnati at what they do. They went out of their way to give us everything we wanted, to stick to our budget, and to have a perfect night. Everyone is saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Thank you Mandie, Brian, and the whole staff at the Redmoor for a night that we will forever remember!!

I had the most amazing wedding reception I could have ever dreamed of at The Redmoor!!! I am so very happy my husband and I decided to use this venue. We were sold by the unique atmosphere and the outstanding owners (Mandie and Scott). Mandie was fantastic and helped to make your reception exactly what you want. It was like I had my own personal wedding planner -- she helped set up the venue the day of the wedding and worked with all of our other vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. All of my guests complimented me on the delicious food and outstanding service as well. We did a buffet and it was reasonably priced compared to other places we looked into! Honestly, you will be SOOO happy if you choose to have your reception at The Redmoor. =)

We had buffet service, served appetizers, and full bar with house liquors. Mandie was great with each meeting to explain everything! The food was fantastic from their in house chef! Their staff was always attentive to all guests needs. The venue itself is beautiful and has such a wonderful art deco feel. From the first meeting to see the venue to the food tasting to the final drop-off of items the day before, everything ran smoothly and I was always reassured that it would be exactly as I wanted. I made my own centerpieces and the Redmoor staff put everything together (including putting the flowers in the vases) for me the day of. I just dropped it all off the day before. Mandie and her staff made it a perfect reception! The food was incredible and I had so many guests compliment the venue and the staff! We had 140 guests and it was perfect although they can definitely comfortably fit more.

My husband and I just got married at The Redmoor on May 10, 2014. We cannot say enough good things about this venue! We had a perfect night, largely in part to the efforts of The Redmoor. Not only is it a beautiful space, but it is incredibly reasonably priced for a medium to large wedding (we had about 150 guests). From the start we worked with Mandie, who also served as our day-of coordinator. She was always available and had great suggestions, when needed. It was obvious from the start that she cares about making a good impression and throwing a classy event. This was carried through our event. Multiple guests commented not only on her care and commitment but also of the staff. They took care of numerous things, both before and the day of, the saved my husband and I LOTS of stress. \rWhen you book this venue you get it all day and must use the in-house chef. My husband and I are foodies and were a little concerned about not being able to try the food first but no need for worry. Our food was completely amazing, despite being buffet food. Salads (which the chef created for us!) were served on chilled plates and the passed appetizers were fantastic. We, again, received rave reviews on all of the food.\rWe had our ceremony and reception here. Perfect all-in-one location. Highly recommend this place for your special event- they will ensure a great day!!

We had our wedding and reception at the Redmoor. While we are from Colorado, our families are both local to the Cincinnati/Dayton area. We wanted to have the wedding and reception in one place and the Redmoor was perfect for that.\r\rWe worked with both Bryan and Mandie during the planning phase of our wedding. Though there were a couple of detail mixups, none of them were major or affected the wedding or reception. Both Bryan and Mandie were friendly and professional throughout the whole process and always responded promptly to emails and phone calls. \r\rOur guests have regaled us with compliments on the wedding and reception, some saying it was a \"party of a lifetime.\" They have complimented the venue, the bar, the staff, and the food. The food was one of the main selling points for us. We are both foodies, but didn't want to spend the whole budget on a gourmet sit-down meal. We didn't need to! The majority of our 175 guests ordered the steak. I have no idea how they did it, but the Redmoor provided all of the steaks perfectly cooked at medium to the entire crowd. It made us proud that our guests were so well fed. I had requested that bacon be served as an appetizer, just set out on the bar for everyone to grab while they had a drink. While I was the first person to request this and it wasn't on the app menu, Mandie made it happen. Our guests were very surprised and happy to gobble it up. \r\rOne caveat: I would recommend you go with one of the photographers that they list on their website. If you decide not to, please make sure your photographer works well with NO natural lighting. Do NOT use Amber Bridges Studios. We did and our photos were abysmal.\r\rWe would definitely recommend the Redmoor to anyone who is looking to have an elegant, sophisticated, and delicious wedding. The packages they offer are really great values for the quality of food, service, and bartending you receive. It helped us stay within our budget, but also have the level of wedding we wanted.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Redmoor, and it was absolutely perfect. The style of the building is so unique and warm, and even though there is a lot of space, it feels very intimate. Everything is clean and beautiful. We worked with Mandie, and she was outstanding. She understood our vision and went above and beyond to make it a reality. I seriously had nothing to do with setup and I am pretty particular, and it was perfect. She even used our extra lanterns to create an even more beautiful area. She coordinated everything and kept up with the details so we didn't have to. Also, she and Chef Scott worked with our unusual dinner requests. The ingredients of what we wanted were on the menu, but the specific dishes were not, and they worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted and everything looked and tasted amazing. There was more than enough for everyone to eat as much as they wanted. All of the servers were polite and attentive. Also, they were able to accommodate our very small guest list (33) and everything was better than reasonably priced. I cannot recommend the Redmoor enough.

We just had our reception at the Redmoor last weekend, it was more perfect than either of us could ever have imagined. Our shuttle arrived to the Redmoor at least half an hour earlier than the staff expected but they accommodated the early arrival with open arms and such a friendly welcome that many guests told us they couldn't believe how amazing the staff was for welcoming them in without a single complaint. Mandie and her staff were amazing throughout our reception,they made sure both my new husband and I always had a drink in our hands,food, napkins, direction or whatever we needed. The food that chef Scott created was even more wonderful than we remembered. We were blown away at the tasting and the food was even BETTER at the reception itself. The ever present staff was absolutely amazing,every guest was cared for beyond our expectations yet the staff was never intrusive. It almost felt as if the drinks,food,help,or whatever we needed appeared when we just had the thought that we needed it rather than after we had to ask for something. We cannot say enough how truly amazing the Redmoor,Mandie, Scott, and the rest of the staff were. We have been getting texts,calls, and emails from our guests since we left the reception telling us how wonderful their experience was and thanking us for inviting them!!! The Redmoor is simply amazing!!!!

I just had my wedding at the Redmoor and would definitely recommend!! I had a budget to stick to and this was by far the best bang for your buck. I had mandie helping me and she was always very helpful answering all my questions. Then we had Brian while Mandie was out and he was just as helpful. My wedding up fabulous! The venue was just gorgeous and so unique. Screw paying thousands of money on decor, the Redmoor itself is all the decor that you need with its red walls, beautiful bar area and cool vibe. \r\rThe crew working the night of our wedding were all so helpful and friendly. Staff gets drinks ready for you before the party even starts, the food was so awesome since they have their own staff and the dance floor was big enough for all. \r\rIf you want a great wedding without paying an arm and a leg, check out the Redmoor. I wanted a fabulous wedding and that is what I got. I didn't have to compromise just because I had a budget and nobody should,it is the biggest day of your life! \r\rThank you to everyone who helped make my big night amazing!!!
