The Reeds made for the most perfect wedding venue we could have ever asked for! From the food to the spectacular views, we highly recommend choosing the Reeds as your fall, spring, or winter wedding destination. The Reeds couldn’t have been more perfect for our wedding day! The venue itself is beautiful, and on top of that the food was delicious. Guests are still talking about the food at our wedding! The staff was also so helpful and friendly. The service couldn’t have been better. Liz is incredible to work with and made sure our vision came to life. We had the absolute dream wedding day and it was all because of the beautiful venue and the staff that work there. Couldn’t recommend having your wedding at The Reeds more!

The Reeds couldn’t have been more perfect for our wedding day! The venue itself is beautiful, and on top of that the food was delicious. Guests are still talking about the food at our wedding! The staff was also so helpful and friendly. The service couldn’t have been better. Liz is incredible to work with and made sure our vision came to life. Our daughter's wedding at The Reeds was fabulous. The site is wonderful; the food is perfect; and the staff are friendly and professional. Our guests could not stop talking about how fantastic the food was and how friendly the people were who were serving. We also booked the Skye Suite for our daughter so we would have a large room in which to get ready and that added to the beauty and ease of the day.Our planner Jessica was so great. I cannot begin to express how grateful our family is for the wonderful day we had there and all the wonderful memories that we will have.

The Reeds was an amazing venue for our big day. The scenery, the hotel rooms, the FOOD... Everything was better than we could have imagined. One of my favorite parts was going to their complimentary food tasting a few months prior to the wedding. They set it up like a mock wedding and we met other couples, and got to try the food and see the hotel rooms. On the day of the wedding the best part was throughout cocktail hour and the reception, the wait staff was amazing. They were super attentive, made us plates of food, checked in to see if we needed drinks often, and just overall made us feel important throughout the entire night. The hotel staff all knew us by name and were extremely helpful. Even my parents were impressed with the service and felt like they had their own personal waitress for anything they needed. Jess, our Day of Coordinator was so helpful and organized leading up to the wedding, as well as on the day of. She answered emails quickly and was extremely helpful even with the 100 questions I sent her every week leading up to the wedding. With all that being said, when rating this venue... I was between 4 or 5 stars. The ONLY reason being that they truly need to revise their \"weather call\" procedures. It was downpouring in the morning but by 2:00 was bright and sunny without a cloud in the sky. The issue is that they require you to make the call for the wedding to be inside or outside at 12:00 (it is in their contract). The ceremony did not start until 4:30, and I know it takes time to set up, but had we been able to make that call just 2 hours later, we would have made a different choice. It caused a bit of stress and frustration, and if they would just change that procedure I think it could have been avoided. Overall though I would highly recommend this venue and we plan to come back and stay on anniversaries as it is a beautiful place to stay.

They saw us through every facet of our wedding planning journey, all the while helping us feel prepared and excited for our day. When we attended the tasting, which was absolutely phenomenal, we became very well acquainted with the team and they allowed us to explore the hotel so we could get a sense of where all the events for our wedding would take place and helped us feel extremely at ease. Months before the wedding the team really excelled in communication nailing down every detail of the day. We didn’t think it could get any better until our actual wedding day came and The Reeds went above and beyond to not only ensure that that day ran smoothly but also made us feel like they were celebrating with us. We had almost every guest tell us the food was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding and that couldn’t have been more true. We’d especially like to thank Josephine and Paul who were instrumental in making our wedding perfect and we are so grateful. We can’t recommend The Reeds highly enough. It was truly a dream come true!

My wife and I were married on site at The Reeds April 14, 2023. Leading up to the day we were both anxious about everything running smoothly and organizing all of the moving parts that come with planning a wedding. From the moment we checked in all of that anxiety faded away. The staff at The Reeds was so quick to accommodate any of our needs or questions that we would have. Our event coordinator Josephine was exceptional. She masterfully handled everything for us the entire weekend and helped us deal with any last-minute requests we had or changes we needed to make. I could spend hours detailing the compliments of the food and beverage and team deserve. The menu choices were all amazing and it was tough to pick between so many of the options. Staff was very accommodating for us; my wife is a vegetarian and they were willing to alter some options to be more vegetarian friendly, they even offered numerous suggestions and ideas for us.Looking back now it was one of the best weekends of our lives because of The Reeds' staff.We could not more highly this venue for anyone looking to book their event here.

Don’t hesitate to have your wedding at The Reeds. We started planning a year and half before the wedding and I can not say enough about Liz and Sara. They were so helpful and sweet from the beginning until the day of. I can’t wait to go back to see them! All of our guests raved about the food and how amazing the wedding was. We got married the day of hurricane Ian remnants in a flood so it was not exactly the beach wedding we had planned because everything was indoors but because it was at The Reeds it was fantastic. Thank Goodness for Sara making it so special for me! The wedding was an absolute blast. My room was beautiful I did not want to leave. I highly recommend The Reeds and can not wait to go back to this place that will always have a very special place in my heart ❤️

I just had my dream hallmark Christmas wedding at the Reed's this past weekend and I can't even imagine doing it at any other venue. I grew up coming to Stone Harbor so I already knew the Reed's was an amazing hotel---but if you have the opportunity to have wedding here ---particularly a winter wedding in the offseason to avoid high prices for your guests to attend I would 10/10 recommend. The service from start to finish was impeccable---the venue and town were the perfect Christmas backdrop for what were hoping to achieve for our wedding. Guests raved about the food, service, and venue and I heard over and over that it was the best wedding guests have ever been to. The lobby even had a huge gingerbread house in the lobby and candles that made it smell like Christmas as soon as you entered the hotel. Shout out to the staff, like George the valet who immediately was personable and lovely. Liz Maestre, our day of coordinator, made the actual wedding day so much easier and completely put my stresses at ease as a bride. I am still in awe of how perfect everything turned out!

Don't look any further and book the reeds immediately. It was a dream venue. We got married on 12/3/2022 and all their Christmas decorations were up and it was beautiful. I cannot recommend The Reeds or Sara Teson enough. The entire team made sure our day and entire wedding weekend was special. Sara was an absolute gem to work with and truly made the whole experience a breeze. She was always quick to answer an email (I sent A LOT) and always replied that whatever request I had, she would find a way to make it work. We had some rain on the day of the wedding which had me extremely stressed. She talked me off the ledge numerous times and was able to give me my dream ceremony outside and provided all my guests umbrellas for the drizzle. Everyone had a blast and our parents were extremely happy with how everything turned out. They did not have to worry about anything day of. We had a band and with our guest amount (~125) the dance floor was perfectly sized and Sara kept the evening going by adding dance sets in while the staff cleaned and set each course. Our experience was phenomenal, including some of the preferred vendors that The Reeds recommended. If you are even hesitating having your day at The Reeds, have it on a Sunday and ensure Sara is your coordinator.

It was a fantastic and amazing ceremony and reception. Sara was our wedding coordinator and she was above and beyond anything we could have asked for. The food was great. The drinks were great. We had our rehearsal dinner the night before and a brunch the morning after on the rooftop deck. Both were awesome. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Now I will tell you why we give The Reeds 4 stars and not 5…. The hotel and front desk were not up to par. These details did not directly affect our wedding but it did cause some displeasure for our guests. My mother (mother of the groom) had 4 rooms in her name for the weekend. Two checking in Friday, one checking in Saturday and one checking in Sunday (day of wedding). She had several family members coming in from out of town on different days. The night we got there (Friday) both of the rooms my mother was given was double booked. The hotel staff handed her two keys and when they entered those two rooms there were people already in them. This caused my mom and her family member to have to check into a room Friday, then check into a different room Saturday and a different room Sunday. On Saturday when my mother was checking into her 3rd room (meant for my sister) it was also double booked! Resulting in my sister (sister of the groom and one of the bridesmaids) having to spend the night at a local motel. Additionally on Saturday another bridesmaid attempted to check-in and was using a Visa at the front desk. The room was paid for but they needed a card on file. Well apparently “they were having issues with Visa’s” and said they couldn’t run any of her cards because they were all Visa’s. This resulted in her driving home that night and returning in the morning. Last but not least, the beds are horrible. The rooms overall are very nice and clean but every single guest that stayed over complained of the mattresses. My wife and I also had a very difficult time sleeping on them. You could tell they were low quality and had been thoroughly used (lots of divets and curves).

It has taken me a few months to write a post-wedding review simply due to the fact that the Reeds was so beyond exceptional that I didn't know how write anything that would do it justice. I cannot count the number of guests who said that the Reeds was the best wedding venue (and vacation spot!) they have ever been to....and they are right! The food was phenomenal-- the raw bar stayed magically replenished with TOP TIER seafood (coming from someone that grew up in cape cod and knows their seafood), the appetizers are creative and delicious, and the main courses were excellent. I have not stopped hearing about the steak. The open air concept in the ballroom made for such a unique experience, and allowed my introverted guests to avoid the feeling of claustrophobia or overwhelm that can set in once the band starts playing and the people start dancing. I am not exaggerating whatsoever when I say that the Reeds staff did not ask us even 1 question on the day of the wedding. You will absolutely not find yourself stressing about the little details- they do that for you! I was sitting back in the Reeds Spa with my cocktails and my bridesmaids without a care in the world, and they did a better job picking out where my various decorations should be than I ever would. If you are as lucky as I was, you will have Elizabeth Mestre as the mastermind behind your big day. Liz somehow had every single detail on lock and knew where everyone was at any moment.... BUT you wouldn't know that because she will also be right there with you smiling as if she's known you forever, and making sure you have your drink of choice (or food) in your hand! Finally, their secret weapon: Carol from the Reeds Spa. I went to dinner with Carol literally a week ago, and my wedding was about 5 months ago. She is a master with hair, has amazing stories, and is just someone you want to be around. She listens to what you want, and understands that everyone is different. I am so grateful that I had Carol do my wedding hair, and that she advocated for me when I needed it. She is a good one. (also she does the best blonde highlights EVER)

It has taken me a few months to write a post-wedding review simply due to the fact that the Reeds was so beyond exceptional that I didn't know how write anything that would do it justice. I cannot count the number of guests who said that the Reeds was the best wedding venue (and vacation spot!) they have ever been to....and they are right! The food was phenomenal-- the raw bar stayed magically replenished with TOP TIER seafood (coming from someone that grew up in cape cod and knows their seafood), the appetizers are creative and delicious, and the main courses were excellent. I have not stopped hearing about the steak. We had our wedding on September 17th 2022, and we had an exceptional day with many great aspects to talk about, however the Reeds let us down on a number of things.Our wedding planner for the Reeds, Emily, was nowhere to be found and very difficult to get in touch with. We had many ideas for the cocktail hour, such as preserving signature drinks, which were not followed through on.We requested 4 bartenders for a 205 person wedding and received only 2, leading to many long lines at the bar and overall displeasure with how it was handled. When setting up our ceremony on the beach, they set up the aisle with two trash cans right dead in the center. They were also 1 hour tardy to begin setting up which led to scrambling prior to the ceremony start and family members needing to help create the ceremony space.For the coordinated after-party, we only asked for 1 food item which was Bacon Egg, and Cheese sandwiches, they couldn't even get this right and served everyone sausage. They refused to reimburse us for this mistake as well.So many details of the day were not properly handled and left us very disappointed in the Reeds. The Reeds has a stunning location on the bay and has excellent hotel services and amenities. The Reeds restaurant is a lovely place for a meal and the food is generally very good.We are very affirmative that The Reeds wedding staff did not meet the standards we would expect for hosting such a large event during their busiest month.

We are so thrilled that we had our wedding at The Reeds. It was important to us to find a venue that highlighted the best parts of “The Jersey Shore” because we were introducing it to many of our guests for the first time. The location, staff & hotel couldn’t have been better. So many guest raved about Stone Harbor after the wedding and The Reeds had a big part in making their trip enjoyable. The planning of the wedding was seamless thanks to Sara and her team. We essentially planned our wedding in 6 months and Sara made decision making efficient and kept me on track with our timeline. She was enthusiastic & flexible through out the entire process and was game for any idea we threw at her. We had unexpected rain as our ceremony started and Sara & her team did their best to transition cocktail hour inside as cocktail hour was beginning. It was a hectic situation that would’ve been a disaster with any other venue/team. My only suggestion is to book all venues early. We booked the ceremony/reception & after party when we secured our wedding date. However we waited a few months to book the rehearsal dinner & bridal suite at The Reeds and our options were limited to smaller rooms because of our delay. We needed to fit too many people into the available spaces which slightly impacted our experience but that is completely our fault & Sara did her best to enhance the spaces to make them work. We’ve received so many compliments on our wedding weekend. We are so excited to continue to celebrate our anniversaries and future life events at The Reeds for years to come!

Everything from the wedding coordinators to the food and service throughout was incredible. Our guests have continued to rave about the venue itself and the food. Liz was absolutely fantastic - I was worried about things not coming together when my original coordinator left a couple weeks before our wedding, but Liz went above and beyond with everything from getting all of the decorations set up perfectly to ensuring everything went smoothly throughout the day. I cannot recommend the Reeds enough!

The provided vendor list was extremely helpful in choosing vendors as they know the venue very well. Cocktail hour food was great and I was very pleased with the setup outside. We were on the fence about the after party in the Crew Room upstairs but so thankful we went ahead with it! Important to note that your guests MUST book by your room block date or minimum 2 night stay with prices doubled. Overall a great experience.

Our guests have still been talking about how good dinner was. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because they advertise winter weddings, but we had guests that were extremely cold depending on where they were sitting. It was a very bitter cold winter night, and the veranda where the bars and our photo wall were located were too cold for most people to be in. My parents tables right near the veranda were also too cold. Had we gotten married on a warmer day, this wouldn’t have even been an issue and I would be leaving 5 stars. I would highly recommend having your wedding here! You definitely won’t be disappointed.

The views were perfect for our first look on the dock and the sunset provided such a romantic setting. The food was amazing - from the pork dumplings to the seafood raw bar. Where do I begin?! I am writing this review from Cloud 9! June 26,2021 was the BEST DAY EVER, due to the entire staff at The Reeds! From the first moment of speaking to Liz, to the first meeting with Katie Gebauer, to the WEDDING DAY, everything was just PERFECT!!! There was nothing that the Reeds’ staff would not do for us! Their professionalism is exceptional! After having to postpone our daughter’s and fiancé’s wedding three times at another venue, we finally made the decision to switch venues. I believe that things do happen for a reason and we are thrilled that the wedding then took place at The Reeds! They truly are “SIMPLY the BEST!” Talk about SILVER LININGS!! A million thanks to all who made a DREAM COME TRUE !!!! 💙☀️💛☀️ xx Kim Forsterand Family

We had our wedding at the Reeds 5/28/2021 after having to move our plans from Philadelphia, it was absolutely in no way a compromise, it was incredible. The staff from the very start, beginning with Liz the sales manager, were the best you can get. They were responsive and understanding even with our short time-line to plan our wedding. Katie our wedding coordinator made our wedding. She was the most organized, kind and supportive throughout the process and especially on our wedding day. Every detail was just right and not a thing went wrong because of Katie's oversight. The bar staff is incredibly friendly and service was excellent. I cannot say enough great things about how perfect The Reeds is, our guests had an amazing time. Additionally- the hotel has the most beautiful rooms, such comfortable beds and all our spa services were perfect. Have your wedding at The Reeds!

Absolute Perfection! My husband and I searched around for wedding venues. When we found the Reeds, there were no more questions. Not only is the Reeds venue so beautiful, but the wedding contract includes everything we needed. Other venues we needed to pay add on prices for every little thing, and the Reeds just had everything in one place. Liz and Leslie were so communicative through the whole covid process, and kept my husband and I feeling confident that our wedding would be okay. The wedding day, everything went seamlessly! If we needed anything the day of, the Reeds staff were on it immediately. The bartenders and wait staff were so helpful and nice. We are so grateful for our whole wedding experience. Aside from the wedding, the hotel being on site was the perfect addition and made accommodating guests even easier. Guests were so pleased that they just had to walk downstairs at the beginning of the night and walk upstairs at the end of the night. We used the pizza party at the pizza pub, and the gate to walk through was also so convenient and helped us to continue to the night of fun. We love the Reeds, and we got soooo many compliments from our guests too!! Brides will not regret picking the Reeds 💜🎉

We were able to have our fairytale wedding and it's all thanks to the Reeds!! We had to postpone for a year but Leslie, Krista, and everyone at the Reeds were beyond supportive and there for us every step of the way. We got ready in the Sky Suite and it was an amazing room! We had so much space to get ready in plus there was a full kitchen for breakfast!! We wanted to get pictures on the beach and the Reeds had a huge golf cart (sits 6 people) that we were able to use to get to and from the beach. The wedding itself was everything we could have ever wanted. From the breathtaking outdoor area by the bay for both the ceremony to the gorgeous ballroom that was full of dancing, the Reeds bypassed our expectations. We cannot wait to go back for our one year anniversary!!!

We recently got married at The Reeds on 1/2/21 and it was everything we hoped it’d be and more! We knew we wanted to be married down the shore and The Reeds was the perfect spot with such incredible views. My bridesmaids and I got ready in the Skye Suite and ordered the breakfast package to be delivered to the room which worked out perfectly! It was a rainy morning that turned into a beautiful sunny day and we were able to watch it happen over the bay as we got ready. We had unseasonably warm weather and we were able to take our first look pictures at the beach and then our wedding party and family joined us at the bay for pictures. We even got amazing sunset pictures over the bay which we can’t wait to see! Leslie was our coordinator and was very accommodating, even with adjusting to last minute changes and working with us throughout these unprecedented times. Leslie and the team made everything look perfect that day and it was truly a stress-free wedding day knowing we were in such good hands! Our guests have not stopped talking about how good the food was and how nice the venue was. A lot of our guests stayed over night and can’t wait to go back for a weekend! We are so happy we were still able to have our wedding and we are so thankful it all worked out so perfectly! We stayed a couple extra days after our wedding to start our honeymoon and it was so relaxing! Can’t wait to go back!

Do not hesitate for one second in booking The Reeds. We were married on 11/9/19 and our day was an absolute dream. I am an event planner by trade and to say I had very high expectations is a gross understatement. I could not have been more pleased with our wedding coordinator Liz. Every detail was executed perfectly. Liz had everything (and everyONE) handled. I didn't have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy my day. She anticipated our every need and was always a few feet away whenever we needed her. Our guests raved about the beauty of the venue but also the service and the delicious food (which is often hard to find in a banquet setting). Our guests loved the hotel accommodations and adored cute little Stone Harbor. We also booked the Crew Room at the Pizza Pub for our after-party which I'd highly recommend. If you're looking for a wedding venue that will exceed your (high) expectations, look no further than The Reeds.

The best day of our life!! From start to finish I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Reeds, and all who work there. Elizabeth was our wedding planner and to say she is amazing doesn't even scratch the surface of how we feel about her as a person, and wedding planner. I cannot even put into words how wonderful everything we experienced was, all I can say is if you are thinking of having your wedding anywhere but at the Reeds STOP NOW and call them asap. Our wedding day was that of a fairytale and I cannot thank everyone at the Reeds enough for making our dreams reality.

The Reeds was spectacular! The day of our wedding was free of any stress. Elizabeth made the experience so easy and positive. I was bummed that it rained on our wedding day. We were hoping to have our ceremony outside. But, I was so happy with how they transformed the ballroom into a ceremony space for me. It completely changed my mind about indoor weddings. The food was beyond amazing. We got so many compliments about how much everyone loved it all. If you're looking for a stress free, fun, and beautiful location-look no further!

The Reeds….where do I begin? This venue is spectacular. Liz, Vanessa, Leah, Krista, and everyone else on the Reeds team was absolutely fantastic —professional in every way. My husband and I are big foodies, and chose the Reeds for exactly that reason. We instantly fell in love with the incredible food and the breathtaking bay views. From day 1, the team starts to lay out all of your details, pricing, timelines, and continues to guide you up to the big day. Liz was excellent with her communication, even answering emails in between events at the Reeds on weekends to help us get questions answered and details sorted out. The day of was unreal….we snuck into our reception early before cocktail hour, and that’s the moment you just take a deep breath & realize the whole night is going to be perfect. And it was! I never felt stressed from 5pm through our after party in the Crew room. We stayed in our complimentary room that night and were greeted with champagne, a blanket inscribed with our last initial, and a beautiful balcony. The rooms are spotless and gorgeous. Whatever you need, they will do their absolute best to accommodate you. We are so thankful we found the Reeds at Shelter Haven and will never forget our wedding weekend!!

I challenge anyone to find a better venue. From the moment I stepped out onto the back deck at The Reeds it was simply magical elegance. As I was led around to the deck area and the reception room I soon realized that the people were so extremely caring and nice even down to the waitresses and waiters who were welcoming. Unlike many other venues I had visited The Reeds were very flexible with our needs wants and budget ideas. On the day of our wedding my now husband and I kept looking at each other asking ourselves if this was real ! We were treated like celebrities but also like family. They kept everything organized and on track and made the day go so smoothly and allowed us to have a blast on the dance floor! They gave us a leach a plate of food and cake to go so we could eat it late night! Liz, who coordinated the whole thing, is incredible and the sweetest person! I hope to go back and visit soon and meet up with the team as they have been such a huge positive impact on our lives for that one special day ! #bestdayever #thereeds

My husband and I always dreamed of a beach wedding and that is exactly what we got. From start to finish everything was amazing. The staff was very helpful! Our wedding weekend at The Reeds was an absolute dream! Stone Harbor is our favorite place and The Reeds was the perfect place to make that come to life. We got engaged late summer and ended up waiting almost two years to get married so we could have a summer wedding at The Reeds and it was absolutely worth it! The whole team at The Reeds was so accommodating and helpful and was always available to answer questions and provide guidance. The details meeting was so helpful in making our vision come to life so that our day ended up perfect. Vanessa was our coordinator throughout and helped handle all the small details the day of so I could relax knowing everything was under control.Everyone couldn't get over how beautiful the venue is and raved about the food. We had a brunch at the Reeds the next morning that was also the perfect venue and a great end to a wonderful weekend.The getting ready room at the new spa was beautiful and the perfect space to get ready for the day - it has everything you need and was super comfy!

Our wedding weekend at The Reeds was an absolute dream! Stone Harbor is our favorite place and The Reeds was the perfect place to make that come to life. We got engaged late summer and ended up waiting almost two years to get married so we could have a summer wedding at The Reeds and it was absolutely worth it! The whole team at The Reeds was so accommodating and helpful and was always available to answer questions and provide guidance. The details meeting was so helpful in making our vision come to life so that our day ended up perfect. Vanessa was our coordinator throughout and helped handle all the small details the day of so I could relax knowing everything was under control.Everyone couldn't get over how beautiful the venue is and raved about the food. We had a brunch at the Reeds the next morning that was also the perfect venue and a great end to a wonderful weekend.The getting ready room at the new spa was beautiful and the perfect space to get ready for the day - it has everything you need and was super comfy!

I found The Reeds online - which is exactly how I found my husband 😄. When you do this, you always wonder if the real thing will be as good as what you see online. The Reeds exceeded my expectations on every level. (My husband did too, but this review isn’t about him):1) The people! Vanessa was our coordinator and was an absolute delight to work with. She is an expert. Every detail was executed perfectly... she even came to our room the day of to bring down some extra signage and such. Rockstar. (She’s now on our Christmas card list 🎄). Krista was our sales rep. She really helped us out. We wanted a small wedding, but I desperately wanted to have it at The Reeds. So, a Sunday afternoon was the perfect answer. ☀️ 2) The venue! The sky suite made it the perfect vacation for us. So nice to wake up to a bright room on our wedding day and day after. (Croissants and coffee on the veranda overlooking the bay!🥐☕️) Loved having an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, then reception partially inside and partially outside & covered. 3) The details! They think of everything so you don’t have to! When everyone asked “Are you stressed about your wedding?” I kept saying “No, The Reeds is handling it!” Need a golf cart to the beach? They make it happen on the spot. Preoccupied the day of your wedding? No problem. We were getting photos taken on the beach when our DJ showed up. No sweat. They have worked with him before. They just got set up without me needing to be involved. Certificates of insurance with your vendors? Easy. They work directly with whomever you choose whether they are on the suggested vendor list or not. There are a million tiny details like this. And they handled everything... so easy. And yes, our guests loved the food. We didn’t have much time to try everything we selected (although we did at our tasting), so I guess we’ll just have to go back! (Anyone getting married there soon? We’d love to come! 😁)

We got married at the Reeds in June and had our ceremony on the beach. Everything was perfect! We do not have one complaint about this venue. Our coordinator, Vanessa, was amazing. She answered all of our questions (and we had a lot) and was there for us whenever we needed her the day of the wedding. The Reeds is such a magical venue for a wedding. The bay views, the outdoor space, the amazing food and the beachy-chic vibe is unparalleled on 7MI. We loved everything about this venue for the entirety of the wedding weekend. We used the Crew Room for our rehearsal dinner (40 people) and subsequent Welcome Party (100 people). It was the perfect private space for both sizes of group and the views of the bay and sunset were gorgeous. Saturday morning my bridal party used the Ready Room (first group in there!). My hair and makeup team loved the space – they had enough room to spread out their supplies and the natural light was perfect for the makeup. Their attention to detail throughout the day was great too – constant supply of Voss water, snacks, and champagne! The ceremony itself luckily (thanks to the weather gods) took place on the back green… it was so unbelievably gorgeous! The rest of a night was a hit as well – being able to use the indoor and outdoor space all night was so amazing and we got a ton of compliments on the food as well. I would also like to mention that the Reeds team is very generous. They provide gorgeous chairs and linens plus outdoor heat lamps etc. – all free of charge. They are also very accommodating for substitutions in your contract, which I appreciated so much (i.e. we had champagne passed at the ceremony instead of being set at everyone’s place setting). These touches were so nice compared to what some of my other friends had dealt with at other venues. Vanessa and her team made the experience even better. They know what they are doing in terms of event planning and were a joy to work with through the whole process. I literally didn’t need to worry about anything on the day of because they were on top of everything – coordinating vendor setup, being the liaison between the kitchen, DJ and photographers, everything. Vanessa even brought a platter of our appetizers up to our suite that we could eat in the 5 minutes following the ceremony – we loved it! They cake in our room + adorable gift at the end of the night were very nice touches as well. We loved our experience at the Reeds and cannot thank them enough for everything!

I don’t even know where to begin with how amazing the Reeds was as the venue of my wedding in April. From the very first contact with Krista, to the day of planning and changes with Vanessa, and everything in between, it was perfect. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, let alone trying to plan it from out of town, but Krista and Vanessa were super responsive to my many emails, helpful with making recommendations for vendors, flexible with changes, and always made themselves available to ensure my wedding day was perfect. In the weeks leading up to my wedding, and on the day itself, Vanessa and her team were an amazing resource for the last minute detail planning and took the time to make me feel like my questions and big day were important. The staff was so nice throughout the weekend from our rehearsal dinner, to cocktail hour, to the reception. The food was amazing and all my guests were impressed with the options we had. The venue was beautiful and the small surprise touches that were included in our weekend will make it one we won’t soon forget and will want to relive over and over again.

I got married on 12/7/18 at The Reeds and it was everything I wanted and imagined! Even in the winter, Stone Harbor and The Reeds is a gorgeous place to be. Vanessa and Leslie were super helpful with planning and were amazing the day of! My guests all raved about the hotel rooms and how luxurious they were. If you book your wedding here - I highly recommend upgrading your wedding suite to the Skye Suite...it is AMAZING! I am so glad I got married here and look forward to returning with my husband for our anniversary :)

Our wedding at The Reeds was more than I ever could have imagined. It is the most stunning venue, which allows for an open concept use of space both indoors and outdoors. When planning our wedding and searching for a venue, my husband and I were most concerned about the setting and being able to be outdoors with a water view. The set up at The Reeds allows you to have your ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, while still being able to access the outdoors during the reception. The Reeds also has the best \"Plan B\" for any inclement weather that still allows you to utilize and access as much of the outdoor space as possible. The wedding planning staff was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. The rest of the hotel staff was also extremely polite and more than accommodating to us and our guests. The food is amazing and the selection offers a wide variety of options. Our guests cannot stop gushing about how fantastic our wedding was from the food to the beautiful sunset views to the party atmosphere. Though moderately priced, the pricing options offer flexibility to accommodate a budget. Coming from an event planning professional background, I cannot stress enough how fantastic the staff was and how smoothly the event was run from start to finish. This is a spot that my husband, family and I will continue to return to for years to come. We cannot thank the staff at The Reeds enough! Out of all of the shore venues, The Reeds undoubtedly supersedes any other venue.

Beautiful boutique hotel, leading in to a beautiful ballroom, which leads out to an outdoor deck which overlooks the bay. It provides something for everybody--if some of your guests are not so keen on dancing the night away on the dance floor, they have a beautiful deck to hang out on while enjoying a drink, the view, and some great conversation. The outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour is breathtaking, as well as the views as desk. The staff is amazing. Vanessa was our event coordinator and she worked with such detail and care to make sure we had the perfect night. Anything we needed leading up to the weekend, or on our actual wedding day, she was all over it. The rest of the hotel staff is amazing as well, so helpful. We felt like family to these people, and we had only known them for a little while. For the rest of our lives, my wife and I will have \"Our Spot\" in The Reeds and will continue coming back to celebrate anniversaries. We will also recommend to everyone: HAVE YOUR WEDDING AT THE REEDS!

I don't even know where to begin. From day one, Krista and the other staff were so helpful and kind in helping make the process of planning a wedding go smoothly. Whenever I had a question about something, they would always answer my emails in a timely manner. On our actual wedding day, the forecast wasn't looking amazing which, was causing me to panic since we were having a beach ceremony. Right when the ceremony was about to begin, it started to downpour. Vanessa, an angel, was such a calming force. She was right there, reassuring me that the rain would pass and I could have the beach wedding of my dreams. Then throughout the night, Vanessa was right there making sure our drinks were filled, asking if we needed anything, and just making sure our night was perfect. When we arrived back at our room, she also had it set up with the leftover flowers from the tables and she had saved us some of the desserts that we didn't get a chance to eat. Everyone truly made the night magical and stress free for us. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, you need to come here. The staff is incredible and the actual venue is to gorgeous. You won't regret it!

When we arrived back at our room, she also had it set up with the leftover flowers from the tables and she had saved us some of the desserts that we didn't get a chance to eat. Everyone truly made the night magical and stress free for us. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, you need to come here. The staff is incredible and the actual venue is to gorgeous. Everything part of the process was smoothly streamlined and they were always on top of taking care of all details that I never had to worry in the year preparing. I couldn't believe how beautifully set up our cocktail hour and reception looked when we arrived for the evening and was blown away by how breath taking it was. I couldn't have done it better myself and they went above and beyond expectations. All of our guests couldn't stop commenting on how awesome of a wedding this was out of all the weddings they have been to and especially enjoyed how they could hang out in the lounge area and be outside throughout the whole reception. Not to mention the drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert were out of this world delicious and cooked so well. The Reeds was everything I ever imagined my wedding to be and more! It was the perfect venue that I have dreamed about for my entire life. From day 1 when we first met Krista at The Reeds, we knew this is exactly where we wanted to get married. The entire team at The Reeds including Leslie and Vanessa were so fantastic throughout the entire wedding planning process. Vanessa was always available to answer any of my questions and provide us with any advice and guidance that we needed. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day ran so smoothly and was perfect! I received so many compliments from our guests not only about how beautiful the venue was, but also about how amazing the service was, how delicious the food tasted and how friendly the staff treated everybody! At the end of the evening the staff was kind enough to box up all of our gifts and decorations and bring them up to our room. It was sooo good and so beautiful! Multiple people commented on how it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Vanessa was such a pleasure to work with and answered all of my crazy questions along the way and constantly checked in during the reception to make sure my husband and I were okay. She packed up all our decor and brought our gifts up to our room to wait for us after our after party across the street. Her and Leslie decorated the room exactly as we described and truly made my vision come to life. Of course a sunny day is always wanted, but the property itself is so stunning we were still able to get gorgeous shots indoors. No words can describe how outstanding my experience with The Reeds was. Everything was perfect, from the beginning to the end, and I could not have dreamt of a more beautiful wedding. I really wanted an original venue for my big day and I knew I found the ONE the second I saw it. I completely fell in love with the place and the waterview blew my mind. Elegant. Luxurious. Breathtaking. I am so happy with my choice, especially when I see our wedding pictures : they are unique and magical; and it's all thank to the venue.Krista and Vanessa were a true pleasure to work with. They were very responsive, very helpful and very flexible. I was planning the wedding from France and they did their best to make this experience as easy as possible for me. Due to special circumstances, we had to change many things at the last minute and I really appreciated how quickly they agreed to do it and how they handled it. On the wedding day, Vanessa was here all day long and made sure everything was exactly as I pictured. She really took care of everything and I could not thank her enough for her amazing work. I knew that everything was under control and that I should not worry about anything and just enjoy my day. The decoration items were placed exactly the way I asked and then, at the end of the wedding, they were packed along with the cake and put in our room (with a surprise!). Last but not least, the food and the cocktails were AMAZING. Everything was delicious, from the cocktail hour to the dessert.I truly think that the price of the package is VERY reasonable for all you get and I could not recommend it enough!

Where do I even begin!!!!The first time I saw the Reeds, I was sitting at a pizza place next door. I looked over to my dad and said, I wanted to get married there one day.... 4 years later this came true! It was absolutely everything I have hoped for. From the staff, the ceremony, ballroom, reception, food- everything was perfect! People are still talking about the \"reeds\" and how much they loved it. I can't thank the Reeds Staff for helping me throughout the entire process and making it exactly how I visioned my big day would be! I would 100% recommend you checking out this Venue. The ceremony is offered on the deck (bay side ) which is what I did, or you can do it inside or on the beach! It was breathtaking views and made my ceremony very special. They offer fire pits and heat lamps if it's cold outside! The ballroom opens up and gives it an inside/outside feel which is exactly what I wanted! The food was phenomenal and everyone loved it! The hotel rooms are very cozy and the cleaning crew is great!!! I also want to add that Vanessa was absolutely amazing! She exceeded all expectations. She took over for Leslie who went out on maternity leave a few weeks before our wedding. and Vanessa made us feel very comfortable throughout the transition! We all know that weddings can be stressful and that family can sometimes add to that stress, Leslie had the most calm, sweet demeanor throughout the whole process and I cant thank her enough for that! The entire team at The Reeds were prompt, efficient and courteous, especially Kade! I cant tell you how many carts he hauled up to my moms room! Everyone was so attentive and flexible throughout our whole stay. My husband and I planned our wedding in about 3 months. We live in Denver so most of our communication was done via phone or email. This made me pretty nervous at first but Leslie always had a way of making us feel at ease. We wanted our ceremony to be on the beach and it went off with out a hitch! Everything was absolutely perfect, they were there from start to finish to make sure that every detail was exactly how we had imagined. We found our photographer, florist and DJ from their preferred vendor list and they all exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional, which can be tricky when cooking for a crowd. If you are looking for your dream venue The Reeds is it!

I had my wedding reception at the Reeds about a month ago. We lucked out with the weather and what was supposed to be a wash, ended up a gorgeous Sept day. The Reeds was an absolutely gorgeous option for a reception. Who can argue with a sunset over water view? My guests are still raving about how beautiful and perfect it was. The food was delicious...I had several guests say, \"best food they had ever had at a wedding.\" Krista & Leslie were great with all the pre-planning and coordination items. My only complaint would be that we left the doors open to allow for people to move between the inside and outside easily (also assuming there would be a breeze off the water). As soon as the dancing began it got extremely hot in the room. As a bride I was dripping sweat (not too cute). If you do book a warmer month I would recommend talking to the Reeds beforehand about either closing the doors or turning up the AC. They do not have ceiling fans in there. Other than that I cannot say enough good things about an absolutely beautiful location.

My dream wedding!My husband and I were recently married at the Reeds in May. We booked the venue without even seeing it in person and it did not disappoint. Our wedding weekend was amazing for us and our guests, who were all from out of town. From the time we arrived, the Reeds staff and wedding team were ready to help in any way possible. Leslie and the wedding team ran our event seamlessly from start to finish. They provided ideas and support during the planning and during the day of to turn our dream into reality. I did not stress over anything the entire weekend. The Reeds is a beautiful place for a wedding. Our friends and family still comment on how delicious the food was, how beautiful the ballroom and outside areas were, and how much fun they had. Truly an amazing place for a wedding!

Leslie, the event coordinator, has a calm organized personality where throughout the entire planning process and wedding day I knew everything was going to be taken care of and be alright. We really have these two ladies to thank for a seamless day. We had both our wedding reception and rehearsal dinner at The Reeds. The food was fantastic and our guests are still raving about it. The atmosphere and service was really what made the night. Our families and friends had the opportunity to watch two beautiful sunsets two nights in a row. The bartenders and servers were friendly and upbeat. We could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding!Our wedding ceremony was on 97th Street beach, just a few blocks down from The Reeds. The Reeds was able to create a scene on the beach that we will never forget. Just over the sand dunes, the beautiful white chairs lined the beach and an amazing driftwood arbor from Coventry Crossing Florist in Stone Harbor created a picture perfect beach wedding scene. The ceremony was intimate, but also had residents of the town watching from their beach chairs and balconies. The residents were so thoughtful and supportive throughout the entire ceremony, moving out of the way for pictures and cheering us on. It was our favorite part of the day.We would recommend The Reeds to anyone wanting to have a elegant and bay viewesque event. It is a place that you and your guests will fall in love with and will never want to leave.

My wedding was recently held at The Reeds. It was really a wonderful day. However, something happened that dampened the whole experience with the team at The Reeds. Following my ceremony (off-site; gone for about 5 hours), I returned to the room to freshen up for the reception, only to find several cards and cash missing from the room (the cash was in my purse). I made a remark to my bridesmaids about the missing items as they helped me get ready for the rest of the night. When I left for the ceremony earlier in the day, I made sure the door was closed and locked when we left – I did it myself. Someone had clearly been in the room while we were away, as it was cleaned, the bed had been made, my husband’s luggage was now in the room and boxes with wedding decorations, which I had given to the wedding coordinator, had been returned. There was also a wedding gift and card from The Reeds in the bedroom part of the suite. I'm not accusing anyone of stealing the cash or cards. I would like to believe that someone would not steal from me the day of my wedding. I also understand that these items could have been thrown out by mistake. However, I was, and still am, thoroughly dissatisfied with the response from the entire wedding team at The Reeds. The morning after our wedding, I notified the front desk staff of the issue. They told me to contact our wedding coordinator, which I did that afternoon. I received one email the following week, and other than that, there was little to no follow up with me unless I was the person initiating contact. The responses also came across as accusatory and as if it were our fault the items went missing. It also seemed that because our wedding was over, we were no longer a priority. I was also told only one person used a key to enter my room during our ceremony, which we would later find out was not true. It took an email to the General Manager of the hotel to finally get some attention on the situation, but all we got was an apology. I was told they were changing their policies and instructing the front desk staff on how to handle a similar situation should it occur again. In my opinion, their apology simply was not enough. This was not an inexpensive wedding by any means. I spent quite a bit of money at their venue and was promised complete satisfaction, attention and the highest of quality. Fortunately, there was no cash in the missing cards, but I still feel uneasy knowing someone went through my purse to take the money out of my wallet. Further, on a more personal note, one of the cards was from my now husband, and I’ll never get to read what he wrote to me on our wedding day. I do not know if this should deter you from staying or having your event at The Reeds. Honestly, everything else was great, from the food, service, and responsiveness of the team leading up to our special day. It is very possible that this is one of those one-off horrible hotel experiences that unfortunately happened to me on my wedding day. However, it is something I want to make the next visitor, or bride, aware of.

All of our guests could not stop raving about how much fun they had and how beautiful everything was. Krista and Leslie are wonderful and all of the help they provided leading up to our day was perfect. I never felt worried that something would go wrong. If you love a beautiful sunset and great food, have your wedding at this venue.

The Reeds was such a beautiful venue and my guests won't stop telling me how good the food was (and of course I have to agree!) My husband and I fell in love with The Reeds the moment we saw it, we originally wanted to have a destination wedding but the logistics didn't work out. The Reeds still felt like a destination in itself and still local! The backdrop with the bay was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was so attentive and flexible throughout the entire process. Leslie answered all of my questions with such quick turnaround. It ended up raining on our wedding day so we couldn't have the ceremony outside like we had hoped but being able to choose whether we were doing it inside or outside on the day of was extremely helpful. We decided to do our ceremony inside still hold cocktail hour outside because the rain had subsided and everything worked out great! We've gotten so many compliments on our wedding. I wish I could get married there every weekend!

As soon as we walked into The Reeds we knew we wanted our wedding there! The location is perfect, set on the water and a very beachy, classic decor! Both Krista and Leslie were such a pleasure to work with, they both are SO nice and personable! We could not have asked for better people to help plan our wedding with. The food was amazing from cocktail hour to dinner to dessert! We are still hearing about how amazing everything was! The entire staff was professional without being too stuffy and was always smiling! When me and my husband got engaged we knew we wanted to get married at The Reeds. It was in a location we wanted, had beautiful views of the water, had a more modern feel than many ballrooms and was a little different than a typical ballroom but still elegant which is exactly what we wanted. After having lunch there and seeing that the food was also amazing we booked it. We got married December 3rd and even though it wasn't summer it was still the perfect location. And they had the fire pits set up outside with blankets that a lot of our guest actually took advantage of hanging out out there. The sales and event planners worked very closely with us to make sure we were getting everything we wanted, answer questions, and make sure we met any deadlines. They also gave us a list of vendors they recommended which was helpful and from that list I used the DJ(who also did lighting and photo booth) and transportation- both of which were great.When the wedding day came the staff at the Reeds was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to meet our needs. They made sure everything went smoothly and this relieved me of so much stress. They took care of EVERYTHING. They along with my florist set up the rooms beautifully (we also did our ceremony at the reeds) and it was exactly what I imagined. The food was so good and my guests are still talking about it. They also give you and your groom a bridal suite to stay in and it is beautiful!!!! Picking the Reeds was the best decision we made!

The staff, from the hotel front desk, to the waitstaff, to Leslie our event coordinator, were more than accommodating. They truly made the weekend over-the-top special. In terms of our ceremony and reception, Leslie could not have been more on point. I gave her a very brief description of what I had in mind for the room, and she created EXACTLY what I had envisioned. The room was absolutely gorgeous! Her talent is beyond compare. During the planning process, she was available whenever I needed her, and she was so easy-going that I really had nothing to stress over! The Reeds thought of everything I needed! I would recommend The Reeds to anyone looking for an elegant modern beach wedding - even in the winter!

The biggest part of that was the location- I truly could not have asked for anything better in a wedding venue. On our wedding day, I was blown away by how picturesque the bay front lawn at sunset was for the ceremony. It was unreal. Then the reception was essentially the best party ever - beautiful set-up, amazing food (and cake!), great open bar, a big dance floor, and super nice hotel accommodations on site. Leslie was so great at taking care of all the details so that we could just relax and enjoy the day. Overall, our guests loved it and so did we. The Reeds was my very first choice from first glance of the website. It exudes \"city meets beach\" and it was the PERFECT venue. Staff is awesome and attentive. The venue is impressive and chic, but still has a breezy, casual vibe. It did rain on my wedding day, but the open-concept of the venue is so gorgeous, it did not matter one bit and everyone is still raving about the wedding. Wish I could do it again.

My husband and I got married in September of this year and we could not have asked for a better experience from the day we went on the tour to the very end of our wedding weekend.Leslie and Krista ( who you work with during the planning process ) were SO helpful and very easy to communicate with. They were informative and prompt. It was evident the first day I met them, that they knew what they were doing for sure. I had both my rehearsal dinner and reception at the Reeds and SO many people went crazy over the food!!! We continue to hear about how amazing it was every time we are around friends and family. Aside from the staff, the venue in general is so beautiful and unique. Overall the venue has an elegant yet beachy feel which we LOVED! Another thing to add - my husband and I knew we wanted to get married down the shore but we were hesitant to choose such a venue when the weather is unpredictable. Let me tell you...when we met with Krista on the day of our tour she immediately put us at ease with the idea of rain. They have everything down to a science and we highly recommend! :)

Aside from the staff, the venue in general is so beautiful and unique. Overall the venue has an elegant yet beachy feel which we LOVED! Another thing to add - my husband and I knew we wanted to get married down the shore but we were hesitant to choose such a venue when the weather is unpredictable. Let me tell you...when we met with Krista on the day of our tour she immediately put us at ease with the idea of rain. They have everything down to a science and we highly recommend! :)

I am not even sure where to start... I guess it was back in December 2015 when we first met with Christa and the team at the Reeds as a potential venue for our fall 2016 wedding. My now husband and I walked out and immediately said cancel all the other appointments, this is it! Our wedding was 10/7/16 and the day could not have been more perfect. Leslie was wonderful to work with and paid attention to each of my details. The room, the service, the food, the outdoor cocktail hour each exceeded our highest expectation. Our guests could not get over how fantastic The Reeds was and have complimented our wedding over and over again. The bridal suite was beautiful- we arrived to chilled champagne, Leslie had breakfast sent up for my bridal party while we got ready the morning of, and my husband and I came back to a meticulous room with a slice of cake on each of the nightstans, an embroidered blanket with our monogram as a gift from The Reeds, and the top layer of our cake boxed up and in th fridge for safe keeping. Thank you so much Leslie and the team at the Reeds at Shelter Haven. We look forward to celebrating many years to come with you :)

We got married at The Reeds on 9/9/16, and it truly was the best day of our lives. From starting the planning process with Krista, to then working with Leslie and having her there the night of, everyone and everything was perfect. Leslie was always prompt returning emails and calls. She made sure every detail was in place. if we forgot something, Leslie already had it figured out. The night of, Leslie was there assuring everything went smoothly, and it did. All our guests raved ( things we already knew) about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was. I would highly recommend The Reeds to anyone getting married.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Leslie and The Reeds events team. From the day we booked to the end of our wedding night, we had the most wonderful experience working with Leslie and her team. She quickly answered my questions leading up to the wedding, and even calmed me down after a few last minute cancellations! The day of was perfect. Leslie and Rachel were there for anything we needed at any time! Besides coordinating the ceremony, guests, set-up, and clean-up....my groom and I were so overwhelmed to come back to our room with a piece of our wedding cake on each nightstand, a beautiful personalized embroidered blanket, and all of our wedding decor perfectly packed up and placed in our room. It was truly the best day of our lives at the best venue with the best team. Thank you!

We got married at The Reeds Memorial Day Weekend 2016 and were VERY lucky to have perfect weather! The Reeds was the first and last venue we looked at. Krista met with us on short notice and we found the package was very reasonable for what was included. Of course the venue had spectacular views that couldn’t be beat! We planned our wedding in 9 months, and everything from start to finish was seamless thanks to Krista and Leslie.We had family and friends in from out of town and from out of country, everyone was extremely impressed with The Reeds! Our guests are still raving about the venue and delicious food! It was the perfect kick-off to the summer!Krista, Leslie as well as the rest of The Reeds staff, were top notch and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Leslie was always responsive and very flexible throughout the planning and left nothing to be worried about. We were very impressed by the many smaller details including the champagne in our suite when we checked in, the monogramed throw blanket on our bed after the wedding, and all of the cards/gifts and cake being brought up to our room for us after the wedding. They took any possible stress out of the day so that we could thoroughly enjoy ourselves. I would also strongly suggest using the vendors recommended by The Reeds. We went with a recommended Officiant, DJ, Photographer and onsite Hair/makeup; all of which were phenomenal !Thank you to The Reeds, especially Leslie and Krista for making our wedding day absolute perfection!

My fiancé and I wanted a destination wedding but something close enough that our friends and family could make the trip and celebrate with us. We looked in the Cape May area first but nothing jumped out at me. My fiancé's family had a house in Avalon growing up so we decided to make the trip to Avalon and Stone Harbor over Labor Day weekend to check out 3 venues. The Reeds was the last venue we toured. From the moment we sat down with Krista Ostrander, I knew this was going to be the place! Not to mention the beautiful ballroom and spectacular veranda. Krista was extremely informative. She was super accommodating to customizing a package to fit our budget and needs. We weren't even out of New Jersey on the way home Monday morning and I emailed Krista to find out how to secure the date and book the venue! We chose Friday, May 27th over Memorial Day weekend 2016, so had less than 7 months to plan everything... and I was planning from 6 hours away. Krista was prompt with telephone calls and emails. She was easy to reach and made the process super stress-free. By November, Krista had \"introduced\" us via email to Leslie Pastore, the event coordinator. There aren't enough spaces in this review to write how talented and amazing Leslie truly is. She was thorough, prompt, knowledgeable, and really brought the whole day together. The food tasting was unbelievable; well organized, delicious, and really got me excited for the big day. It was so nice to actually meet Leslie, the person who was so calm and understanding on the other end of my calls and emails, which included hundreds of questions a day. She made the planning from afar seamless. The day was perfect from start to finish, because of her. She truly made the day magical down to every last detail. After the wedding, we entered our suite to a bottle of champagne and an embroidered blanket with our initials on it. That was extremely thoughtful and touching. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue, not only because The Reeds is beautiful , but the whole staff is truly amazing. I can't speak highly enough of everyone that I encountered at The Reeds during this process. Everything was top notch!! People are STILL talking about how amazing it was!!

Our wedding was perfection. The venue was beautiful, the food delicious and our room beautiful. Leslie, our coordinator was a pleasure to work with. She was on top of every detail and super quick in her response to any question sent to her. It turned out to be a rainy day and we decided at 9 am to move our 11:30 ceremony inside. The transition was seamless and looked as though it was planned that way from day 1. Every detail was perfectly presented and the staff was so eager to incorporate all the details I dreamed up and make them reality. Ours is a second marriage and we have come to expect a level of service and quality and the Reeds exceeded our expectations at every level.

We had ~155 people and the wedding was a huge success. We got many complements on the food and venue, even though it was terrible weather. Leslie the event coordinator was well organized and responsive. The whole experience was great.

To say we were pleased with our experience with the Reeds would be an understatement. My husband and I got married at the Reeds on April 17, 2016 and we could not be happier with our choice. Krista, Leslie, and the team at the Reeds were absolutely top notch in every aspect. Krista and Leslie were prompt, courteous, and always so helpful and informative with every question we had during the planning process. The wedding day itself was so well managed and we felt completely confident that everything was taken care of. The hotel rooms were beautiful, service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. Our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful of a venue it was. The Reeds really do go above and beyond to make their bride and groom, family, and guests have a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough of this gorgeous venue and the very kind staff. We are so thrilled with our choice and would highly suggest it to anyone looking to get married, or even have a weekend away.
