Rigmor House is a wedding venue located in Chapel Hill, NC. This spacious property is accessible from both Triangle and Triad areas and offers multiple indoor and outdoor sites for your upcoming milestone celebrations. In addition to hosting wedding ceremonies and receptions, this rustic venue also plays host to a range of mindful events such as self-care workshops and soulful retreats.
Proprietor Judi Loberg is the organizational force behind Rigmor House, which she established over 15 years ago. Her goal was to create a tranquil location for guests to escape to, away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life. Judi and her team work hard to keep the property’s amenities fresh and up to date, allowing for a truly enjoyable stay. The venue comfortably accommodates up to 225 guests but is also equipped to cater to more intimate wedding parties. Rigmor House’s main room, at an expansive 1,700 square feet, features gorgeous high ceilings and soft, romantic lighting. The venue also provides a large, hardwood dance floor, perfect for showcasing your moves as the evening progresses. A state-of-the-art sound and PA system is provided, along with screens to display slideshows and videos. Although a distinctive property in its own right, the team here is flexible regarding adding your creative flair to the decor. The property also offers five beautifully appointed bedroom suites and a get-ready suite for the wedding party to prepare for the big day in comfort and style.
Judi and her team offer a range of curated wedding packages to suit all tastes and budgets. They begin the planning process with an in-depth consultation and, from there, will collaborate with you each step of the way. They can provide a preferred vendor list, and your chosen caterer will have full access to their kitchen and facilities on the day. All tables, chairs, and linens are included in the rental fee, and the staff is happy to assist with the setup and teardown of event areas. Ample parking facilities are also available on-site.

The Rigmor House Reviews
Blaire B(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-04-2018 I don't even know where to start - we had the most amazing wedding in April 2018, and the Rigmor House was a huge reason for its success. We planned the wedding from California and wanted to find a place that would fit 150 guests comfortably (we ended up with 125, and they all fit downstairs with a dance floor in the center). Ben was involved and responsive through every part of the process, answering our many questions and showing the venue to family members when they were in town. He also dropped everything and came to the venue immediately when we ran into some speaker issues on the day of the wedding, making sure everything went smoothly. We loved spending the whole weekend there and the relaxed vibe of the place (they were laid back about a number of things - we could choose any vendors, bring our own food/alcohol, and had no time/noise restrictions) All together, this venue made the whole wedding relaxed and easy. It was worth every penny. Highly, highly recommend! Reviewed on 27-01-2019
Lindsey Kennedy(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-01-2018 My new husband and I must have looked at around 8 venues before finding this one! We were going to get married in our hometown in Florida until we found this golden gem! I can’t say enough about our experience at the Rigmor. From start to finish Ben was a true pleasure to work with and was always quick to answer my many questions. The wedding turned out to be beautiful, more beautiful then I envisioned and we even got a white wedding with snow! It was the best day ever! Reviewed on 06-02-2018
Hannah Findlay(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-05-2016 Oh my goodness, just get married here already! I had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception here. It was so convenient to have the rooms for my wedding party to stay at. Plus I stayed there the night before which helped reduce my stress level the next morning for setting things up and getting ready. I felt comfortable too that my guests could crash there if they weren't able to drive home (most ended up taking taxis). My only complaint is that it is a little far out from anything (i.e. vendors, hair appointments, grocery store, etc.). Although part of that is also good because you feel almost like a destination wedding. I was supposed to have my ceremony outside in the field, however it rained that morning so the grass was wet. I transitioned everything to indoors with ease and I can't tell you how good everything looked with the beautiful light grain wood as the back drop of my photos. Ben was AMAZING dealing with not only my requests but my mother's incessant emailing and calling. Reviewed on 04-01-2017
Jessica Menzone(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-09-2013 The Rigmor House itself is beautiful - we got lots of compliments without any decorations. We rented for the whole weekend so it was great to have five bedrooms plus three pull out couches for our entire wedding party to stay there. The kitchen is huge and plenty of room for a catering to work - we had Carrabbas come in! The staff at the Rigmor really takes the place over the edge. We dealt with Ben the whole time and he replied to my emails and phone calls almost instantly. He answered all my ridiculous questions and seemed to truly want my husband and I to have a great time. We have talked about other occasions we can have just to rent there again. It was wonderful having the house for the whole weekend as with no rush on setting up or taking everything down. melanie perry(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-09-2013 This was the perfect location for a wedding. You had everything you needed. There was a kitchen, bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, plenty of room for caterer, dinner and dancing. We had the ceremony outside in a scenic location and walked inside for the reception. It was beautiful! The Manager Ben was easy to work with and so friendly. I would recommend it to anyone Reviewed on 18-09-2013
Christy williams(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-08-2008 We loved that it was a log cabin which also meant that there were bedrooms in that the bridal party could stay in. Also the cabin had floor to celing windows and we had our reception the sun was setting it turned out amazing.;The hardest thing that I did was to decorate everything myself. The venue was didnt include anything but the building. I enjoyed most of it but there are a lot of details that I didnt even think about Reviewed on 31-10-2008
