When you plan a wedding with lots of vendors and moving parts, you have to assume something is bound to go wrong. Shockingly, we can’t think of a single thing at our wedding that wasn’t carried out to perfection and that was mostly due to the team at the Roundhouse.First, the Roundhouse is absolutely beautiful. It’s a rare event space that’s so charming on its own that you really don’t need to add much else to it to get it wedding ready. Even though our wedding had to be entirely inside due to weather, the venue was very accommodating and we were impressed by how the team utilized the space for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and afterparty. We also need to mention how incredible the food is. Everything, from the cocktail hour stations and passed hors d'oeuvres to the main courses and sides to the wedding cake, earned major compliments from our family and friends. We had a blast at our tasting and choosing the food options was truly one of the hardest parts of the wedding planning. Everything was just that good. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how nice your venue is or how fantastic the food is, if there isn’t an incredible staff to execute your vision. We spent over a year planning our wedding with our Roundhouse coordinator Carrie and were continually blown away by her organization and attention to detail. Even if we emailed her on a random Sunday after changing our minds on something, Carrie was accommodating and quick to respond. We appreciated how invested she was in our wedding and how helpful she was when we had a lot of decisions to make. We felt very confident in the success of our day because of Carrie. The day of the wedding, we were amazed at the attentiveness of the staff (led by Danielle and Joe!) and how every element of the day had been carefully considered and timed. They’re a well-oiled machine and it allowed us to just enjoy the day and not worry about anything. There’s a million more positive things that we could say but we’ll keep this brief. We HIGHLY recommend the Roundhouse. Reviewed on 07-01-2024

We were recently married in November 2023 and cannot sing the praises of the Roundhouse and the staff enough. We could go on and on about how they truly made our day perfect in every way (they did), but if you look at all their other reviews, and you should, you’ll see this is not unique, but rather the norm. Rather we’d like to share a quick story which we think exemplifies the kind venue, and more importantly, people you will be dealing with. Amber was our coordinator and we are so grateful and thankful she was. While she was incredibly professional, communicative, friendly and amazing throughout the process, its what she and the staff and vendors did for us just 2 weeks before our wedding day that touched us and showed what kind of people they are. A family emergency meant we may have to cancel or move our wedding date. We reached out to Amber, and rather than inform us it was too late to make any changes, she was incredibly sympathetic and understanding. Within 24 hours she and the team at the Roundhouse had coordinated with all our vendors and everyone agreed to work together to find another date for us within the next few months if we needed to make a change. They made what could have been an incredibly stressful situation seamless and manageable, and allowed us to focus on what was important. Amber, our vendors (of which DJ, Florist, Lighting, and Photographer were recommended), and the entire team at the Roundhouse showed us who they really are by being compassionate, caring, wonderful people and professionals. A quick and well-deserved shout-out must be given to Joe, Danielle, and all the staff as they were all incredible on our actual wedding day - as well as Antonio and Katie behind the scenes coordinating things like hotel and rehearsal dinner. If you want an amazing venue that’s run by great people, book the Roundhouse. You’ll be happy you did. Reviewed on 26-12-2023

We had our September wedding at The Roundhouse and it truly was a flawless experience all thanks to Amber, Danielle and the whole team at The Roundhouse. Our wedding day ended up being a rainy one and Amber effortlessly pivoted from a planned outdoor ceremony to an indoor one seamlessly. Throughout the wedding planning process my friends would say \"ugh isn't wedding planning so stressful?\" to which I would reply \"not really!\" all because Amber had the best advice when we weren't so sure on logistics and major/minor decisions. The day of our wedding Amber and Danielle made sure to check on both us and our families many times to make sure everything was going smoothly. Our guests were truly so impressed with both the amazing food and the incredibly ambiance of The Roundhouse. We are forever grateful for an amazing wedding experience thanks to The Roundhouse! We had an incredible experience working with Amber and the entire staff at the Roundhouse from the first meeting through our experience leaving the venue the next day. We live close to the Roundhouse itself, and we could have chosen so many other venues that are nearby, but my husband and I chose the Roundhouse because we heard such great things from others who had attended weddings there both locals and those coming to visit and staying onsite from afar. The amount of service and the quality you receive also made the roundhouse the most affordable option for the type of wedding we wanted to have (a big one! with great food! band! and so many flowers!) We also did our rehearsal / welcome event at the Roundhouse Restaurant, which went so smoothly and we'd recommend looking into that too. The day of itself was an absolute dream and it is all thanks to Amber, Danielle and the rest of the team. Reviewed on 20-12-2023

I really would have liked to have given this place five stars. But unfortunately the hotel management at the Roundhouse is horrendous. So unaccommodating, rude and downright obnoxious. All of the staff was friendly, and did the best that they could without the input of management. The venue is absolutely amazing. My daughters wedding itself was phenomenal. But if you are going to have your guests, stay overnight, I recommend the Marriott in Fishkill Reviewed on 05-12-2023

Cannot say enough great things about the Roundhouse team. Carrie, Danielle, Linus, Antonio, Katie and the entire staff exceeded our expectations, were incredibly accommodating and the utmost professionals. Carrie was instrumental in moving mountains to accommodate every request the entire weekend. The Roundhouse was flawless from every detail- food, space, installations, hotel services, getting ready, communications, weekend services. They attended our every need that our party had and answered every email that we sent. So organized and incredibly professional. This was the most wonderful night of our lives! From our tour to our planning meeting with our coordinator, Carrie, to the tasting and all of the help from the other individuals at the event space, the hotel, and the restaurant was top notch. We received so many compliments from guests on how beautiful the space is and how impressed they were with how delicious the food was throughout the event. The location is unbeatable, too - guests can explore the awesome restaurants and shops in town throughout the weekend. Our venue coordinator (Carrie) worked with us over a two year process to bring our vision for the day to life - we're so grateful for her attention to detail and sense of humor throughout it all. Would give more than 5 stars if i could. We booked the Roundhouse Nov 2021 for a Sept 2023 wedding and experienced full professionalism from beginning to end. Obviously the venue is stunning, but the operations were beyond smooth, the staff is easy to work with, and they really helped pull off our dream wedding. Carrie was our coordinator and SHE FREAKING ROCKS. Genuinely felt like we became friends with her throughout the process which made us feel even more understood/seen throughout the process. Also, the food was fantastic. We weren't able to try any apps during the tasting event, so we were unsure going into the wedding, but damn was it good. Everyone commented on how outrageous the cocktail hour food was. Entrees and cake were great as well, but they really shine during cocktail hour. Long story short, book the Roundhouse if you can. I think every guest came up to me to rave about how great the food was and the service as well. What I think is so special about this space is how unique it is but also lets you customize it to really make it your own and no 2 weddings are the same. Choosing the Roundhouse was undoubtedly the single best decision we could have made for our wedding day. We got married Memorial Day weekend and the day was 10/10 perfect perfect perfect!!First of all, Beacon is the perfect place to gather friends and family for the weekend. It's an adorable town with plenty to do (hiking, shopping, eating) and it's accessible from NYC via MetroNorth. But the Roundhouse is the real treasure. We wanted an indoor ceremony alternative that would be just as beautiful as the outdoor option if the weather didn't pan out, AND we knew we didn't want reception to be in a stuffy ballroom with no windows. The gigantic windows in the Waterfall Room let in so much natural light and the high ceilings make the space feel so airy and open without feeling cold - it's a gorgeous room for reception and would have been perfect for our ceremony, too. We ended up having great weather and could take full advantage of the gorgeous outdoor setting for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. One of the standout stars of our wedding planning journey was Carrie, the venue coordinator. She was a true rockstar who went above and beyond her role. We didn't hire a wedding planner but Carrie essentially became one, answering our countless questions and offering invaluable guidance every step of the way. Her professionalism and dedication were simply outstanding and we could not have gotten through the 18 month planning process without her. Day-of she was incredibly calm and level-headed, which is the exact energy you want on your wedding day.Few other things that stood out: the food, the recommended vendor list (we got all of our vendors from the RH and they were all 10/10), the hotel accommodations / bridal suiteWe had ~190 guests and the space fit everyone comfortably, which was a concern of ours leading up to the wedding. Any more than 200 might be a bit tight if you're thinking of going bigger. Wedding package comes with 15-room hotel block in RH hotel, but rooms are pricy; we had family stay at RH and blocked hotels in Fishkill 10 min away for our peers (and booked shuttles/transportation for the wedding). I'm still dreaming of our wedding night. The second we stepped foot on the property after countless wedding venue visits, we knew we had to get married here. First, I'll start with Amber (our coordinator). She is, hands down, the best thing about this venue. If you're thinking of hiring a wedding planner, save your money. I honestly don't think I'd be saying my wedding planning process was a breeze if it wasn't for her. She's so sweet, down to earth, worked with us through every decision, gave us her honest opinion when we needed it and was extremely present during the process and on the wedding day. The rest of the staff was unbelieve as well. Food was out of this world -- everyone is still talking about our cocktail hour -- highly recommend the raw bar! The bartenders were amazing and there was never a long line. I was prepared to have at least one thing not go as planned but literally not a single thing went wrong. We got married during prime fall foliage time and there was still ample accommodations in the area. There's so much to do and the guests loved being able to make a weekend getaway out of it! I grew up in Beacon and had seen the venue built from the ground up, always hoping one day I could get married there so, after 10+ years of building the venue up in my head, I never thought they'd be able to live up to the hype – but they totally did, and then some. Not only is it a beautiful venue, the food is AMAZING, the staff is incredible and Amber (our coordinator) made everything so easy and stress free. She worked so incredibly well with our vendors and had such great recommendations as we thought through floor plans, drinks, etc. As we went around and said hello to our guests during dinner, entrees had barely been served and our guests' plates were licked clean. So many guests came up to us that it wasn't just the best \"wedding\" meal they've had, but for some it was just the best meal they'd ever had. Even cocktail hour had just the most amazing food, we were almost too stuffed for our entrees! They were also so flexible with setup and logistics – doing everything they could to help us stick within our budget and enjoy the day completely. We so appreciated this!Lastly, as I know I am rambling, what is included at The Roundhouse is really impressive. Of course, weddings are expensive, but they really do go above and beyond with their packages making it completely worth it. We of course splurged in some areas, but they really made it possible to keep things absolutely timeless and beautiful, but also as affordable as possible. Most importantly, we felt there was value in everything. We weren't spending money for an ok steak – it was a filet our guests have been talking about for weeks. Carole Dore(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-07-2021 We looked at a small number of places before selecting The Roundhouse as our venue. It was the best decision we made. Our original date was Sat. 1/2/21 (some of the drearier days of the pandemic). We were able to delay to the summer to a Saturday - which was really generous on behalf of the venue. Carrie was wonderful to work with. She is so talented, has a good sense of humor (and a good soul). The weather was absolutely perfect on our wedding, and we were given the option to take cocktail hour outside as a last minute decision. I loved that flexibility and thoughtfulness. The food was delicious and the bartending staff were really amazing and accommodating (we had requested some nice NA beverage options for sober relatives and they were really happy to make that happen). John P(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-11-2021 With The Roundhouse, you are not only getting an amazing venue in an adorable little growing town, but you are getting top-notch staff, and a warm, accommodating (if a little overworked) dedicated event coordinator. We had the privilege of teaming with Carrie, who– after 3 very flexible reschedules due to the pandemic– seamlessly saw to every detail with high attention and expertise; quarterbacking vendors, staff, setup, and acted a trustworthy, no-stress friend on the big day. The venue could not be represented better. There is a reason the venue itself is in high demand– it is a dream facility if you're looking for something quite a bit different than the typical hotel-ball-room wedding. An active onsite restaurant with talented chefs somehow scales to the demand of catering a full wedding without missing a beat on the caliber of food. A small (and admittedly a bit pricy, with a 2-night minimum) onsite hotel and after-party lounge are only a short stumble away from the reception area, which also can house an indoor or outdoor ceremony, plus cocktail hour. No travel between locations was a huge plus for us, especially since everything is nicely appointed, so long as you like that modern industrial sort of vibe (we do, and our guests sure did– so many wonderful reactions). We did get a room block in nearby Fishkill, a 10 minute drive or shuttle ride (note that Uber tends not to be available late at night in Beacon).Beyond the function, there's something about the natural surroundings (beyond the on-premise waterfall and river) for hiking and views, combined with the amazing and endless boutiques, bars, and restaurants in Beacon that make this an unforgettable place. It all went by so fast, but we could not have imagined a better place and staff supporting us, our friends, and our family. Thank you to Carrie and the crew for everything. We can't wait to make an anniversary an excuse to do it all again.Kim & John Reviewed on 27-11-2021
Ryan OGrady(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-09-2021 We got married at the Roundhouse at the end of September 2021.The whole experience was amazing and our guests have been gushing about it ever since. We started planning with them in late Fall 2020 when the whole wedding world was very much in flux. As the situation improved we gradually upgraded our event from a smaller briefer cocktail hour to a full on affair. The folks at the roundhouse were courteous and helpful throughout the planning and lead up process. We needed to clarify a few points but nothing out of the ordinary and as pure (nervous) novices ourselves we asked for a lot of detail. We were AWED by the group tasting experience which really showed us how the Roundhouse can pull off incredible food and service at wedding scale. As we approached the date Amber was really helpful and worked with our wedding planner Elizabeth to make everything smooth and seamless. Our guests had an incredible time and raved about the main room, the food, the service, and the ambience. Truly truly the wedding of our dreams. Our ONLY notes are that the hotel itself was extra modern, with extremely low beds that proved a little challenging to our older guests. While we're glad so many of our guests stayed on-property at the Roundhouse, given the pricing we did feel it was important a more economic alternative. The penthouse suite is absolutely spectacular, though for regular rooms it's a bit pricey. We'd highly recommend having your event at the Roundhouse.Ryan and Alyssa Reviewed on 27-11-2021

Krista Shafir(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-10-2021 I am beyond happy we had our wedding here! Carrie first gave us a tour in June and was able to book our wedding 4 months later in October. Carrie was amazing to work with! She answered email after email answering all of our questions, and gave us support and guidance throughout it all. Carrie made sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding and kept us calm and made sure we had everything we needed. The Roundhouse itself is a beautiful venue that has the “industrial chic” vibe we were looking for. Flowers and lights made it so romantic! The food was amazing! Food, drinks and music were most important to us, and it was all perfect, everyone loved the food and left with a full stomach. The staff was responsive all night and kept all of our guests happy! The only negative I could say is we had our after party at the Roundhouse Lounge and we were not allowed to play music like we were originally told, so it was much more of a chill sit down type of after party. Overall we had an amazing experience at the Roundhouse and I could not be happier with our choice! Reviewed on 22-11-2021

She is extremely attentive, reliable, and is just really great at what she does. Not sure what we would have done without her! A lot of guests were impressed by how flawless the flow of the day was (we had both our ceremony and reception on property) which I think speaks volumes to how well Amber and The Roundhouse staff execute weddings. The venue itself is stunning (indoor and outdoor). We had high hopes for an outdoor ceremony but weather kept flip flopping the day of our wedding so to play it safe we decided to have an indoor ceremony but have zero regrets, it was just an beautiful.Food was spectacular (the tasting was our favorite part of wedding planning!) The location of The Roundhouse is also a huge plus. We had a lot of family and friends stay the weekend and absolutely loved it. A few steps away from downtown with tons of great bars and delicious restaurants. The hotel accommodations were lovely, thanks to Sara at the front desk for accommodating all our needs the day of the wedding. We ended up postponing to May 2021, and are so glad we made the choice to move forward with a new date. We have been longtime fans of the restaurant at The Roundhouse, and artsy vibe of the town of Beacon. The stunning setting and unique industrial chic vibe made The Roundhouse our top pick, but what sealed the deal was event manager, Amber Tyan. Amber's professional expertise and her calm, can-do attitude made all the difference in our overall experience. Head of Events, Katie Guerrerio and Amber were extremely communicative and accommodating during the months leading up to the re-opening post-COVID, and went out of their way to make the new planning process as seamless as possible. On top of everything else, a sudden change in weather forced us to move the outdoor cocktail hour indoors, and we needed to move up the start time of the wedding processional. Amber and entire staff did an AMAZING job of executing the changes without missing a beat. Thanks to Amber and staff, our guests RAVED about the setting, food, service and overall atmosphere - it was truly a fairytale event. I highly recommend The Roundhouse (and especially Amber!). Example : We are a very Italian family so I requested espresso coffee be an option with dessert keep in mind I was willing to pay , the wedding planner Amber said no her reasons we have no where to plug the in we don’t have espresso cups. Second my wife asked for a drink right after the party ended they would not give her a drink after my wife and I spent almost 50,000 dollars on our daughter’s wedding. 3rd we booked hotel room on the grounds were forced to book for 2 nights at 350 a night . Rooms are really no frills , not even an ice machine in hotel. My asked hotel for a late check out day after wedding the immediate answer was no after spending all that money and also booking a brunch the next day for 58 people at 40 dollars a person. This place wasn’t very accommodating at all, from the wedding planner to the hotel staff. A P(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-04-2021 There are many positive aspects regarding the Roundhouse - modern and chic interior design, location in a bustling town yet near nature, great food and drinks, hotel walking distance to the heart of the venue. Yet, I have not been recommending the Roundhouse to my many friends who are brides-to-be. The Roundhouse lacks leadership and strong management, was hard to communicate with and showed limited flexibility throughout the planning process. Rather than making us feel more comfortable in terms of anxiety related to Covid-19, the events coordinator, A, and the leadership made us feel worse and communicated incorrect information regarding their strict approach with policing rudely guests related to Covid-19.While all of our vendors followed up after the wedding for feedback and to share their gratitude for supporting their business during the pandemic, the Roundhouse failed to do so and we have yet to hear from them. There are so many other beautiful venues at the relatively high price point all around Hudson Valley; I recommend finding one with stronger leadership and more gracious customer service for your special and once-in-a-lifetime day. Two plus years ago, after seeing many wedding venues, we knew this was the one when we saw it. It is so beautiful and has everything you could want in a venue, and happens to be smack in the middle of the best part of an amazingly cute town, perfect for a wedding weekend. Fast forward to two reschedules and a downsized wedding, and I can't say enough about my experience. Amber Tyan-Smallhorn in particular was an incredibly bright light during a crazy time. She and the rest of the staff made a hectic situation seamlessly easy, and knowing what other couples experienced during the pandemic with their vendors, I can say with absolute certainty that we were treated with an astounding level of care and fairness that I know so many other couples did not experience with their venues. They did everything with integrity and respect, and made the rescheduling/replanning process so easy. On another note, Amber just happens to be an incredible human being who was a genuine friend to us during the pandemic, always making time to check in and support us, and just went above and beyond. She is a rock star. On the wedding day, everything was beyond perfect, and after everything, we couldn't have imagined a better day. Jess Levy(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-10-2018 As a space, the Roundhouse checked all of our boxes: great location, gorgeous setting, \"industrial chic\" vibe, and fantastic food. And it didn't disappoint - the wedding came off without one hitch and was glorious in all of the ways we had hoped. One annoying quirk was the tasting: they only serve the most commonly picked entrees, and we were not given any choice. Only after some pushing, they agreed to give us a second tasting with the entrees that we were most excited about - and the one we ended up picking. Might be worthwhile to ask about ahead of time.Unfortunately, we can't give a completely glowing review because of our experience with the coordinator we were assigned. My wife and I are pretty low maintenance and down to earth, so we are confident that our struggles with Amber were not the result of any \"bridezilla-ism\" (a word I hate but you get the picture). There were a number of times Amber gave us incorrect information that almost caused us to make different choices that weren't our preferences. Thankfully, we took the initiative to double-check certain details (e.g. menu ingredients, availability of locations) with other Roundhouse staff and were able to learn the correct information. On top of this, we found that email communication with Amber was often confusing, requiring a time-consuming back and forth. Finally, there were times that I had to nudge Amber about approaching deadlines or decisions, instead of the other way around. So be forewarned that you should keep track of your own to-do's, double-check information given to you, and you may experience some less-than-ideal customer service. We loved everything else about the Roundhouse and would still recommend the venue overall. The good news is that the RH coordinator is just a small part of the overall planning process, certainly not enough to define the experience or take away from our amazing time. And on the day of, none of these planning struggles mattered, and the day was perfect. Reviewed on 03-06-2019

Where do I begin - the location is great, easily accessible by train or driving and the town of Beacon is such a little Hudson Valley gem. Many of our guests made a weekend out of it, visiting the many restaurants, breweries, and shops downtown. Lots of hotel and airbnb options nearby but book early. The venue itself is a restored textile mill where they preserved the character but modernized so beautifully. Way more unique and less stuffy than traditional ballrooms. Everyone loved easy access to outdoors during the reception since it was a beautiful night in September. Great little private room down the hall from dance floor for couple to freshen up, take a breather, and/or attempt to use the bathroom in a wedding gown. ADA accessibility and elevator for older guests in wheelchairs - this place seriously covers all the bases. Amber, our coordinator, and her staff were ab-so-lutely amazing. Not only is she organized and professional, that woman DELIVERS and is so fun and easy to work with. Bartenders were quick and engaging, cocktails were boozy and not too sweet, everyone raved about all the food including the delicious (and included in the price) wedding cake. Would recommend adding the raw bar to cocktail hour - big hit. Amber can attest to how nervous we were about the risk of hockey puck steak and they nailed the medium rare. If I can speak to one thing that embodies their customer service it's that Mary drove 15 minutes each way to go grab the jumpsuit I brought to change into mid-reception but forgot in my room. Beacon views. It was also such a relief to see a venue that provided everything a bride and groom could need - accommodations, chef, baker, furniture (with available upgrades) and a hefty preferred vendor list. We were obsessed with the space and booked the very next day! The planning process was smooth and organized, which I appreciated as a Type A bride. Our coordinator, Dana, joined the team well after we had booked The Roundhouse, and almost 10 months before our wedding date. Admittedly, we were a little apprehensive about being assigned a new point of contact, but Dana quickly learned the ins and outs of her new role and ended up becoming my right-hand throughout the planning process and was an integral part in our wedding day. She kept a large, rowdy wedding party in line and flawlessly executed each moment of the day with our vendors. I had implicit trust in her abilities and it allowed me to let go and enjoy every second of our wedding day. Our guests have not stopped raving about the unique, gorgeous venue, the incredible food and their overall experience at our wedding. We even have guests who now want to book their own weddings with RH as a result! We could not imagine having been married anywhere else, and are already looking forward to an anniversary trip to RH next October! Reviewed on 30-10-2018
C J(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-10-2018 The Roundhouse was an absolutely stunning location for our wedding! It was so easy to have catering, the cake, the tables & chairs, the bar, and the utensils all under one roof, rather than searching for other vendors. My fiance and I looked at about 12 different venues before deciding to go with the Roundhouse, my best friends boss had gotten married here and she said we had to check it out, Thank goodness we did because once we went we pretty much booked it right then and there. It was exactly what we were looking for, industrial, rustic, elegant and different from anything else we had seen before. The staff especially Carrie and Josh were always helpful and accommodating and truly have become our friends throughout the process. The food at the Roundhouse was outstanding we are from outside the city and most of our guests live in NYC or work there and all our guests raved about the food and how awesome it was especially the Taco station we went with. I just could write about this place forever but won't do that to you guys, just trust me when I say you will NOT be disappointed if you go with this venue. We are Beacon locals and it was super important for us to be able to celebrate our big day in our town. We were a bit wary at first due to the cost (this venue is significantly more expensive than most in this area) but we quickly realized that it was worth every penny. Having an assigned event coordinator who helps you take care of every detail is invaluable and the food is far and above what any other venue in the area offers. Our friends and family simply cannot stop raving about our wedding day! Amanda Sottosanti(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-10-2017 Words cannot express our gratitude to the staff at The Roundhouse for EVERYTHING! Our entire wedding weekend was a huge success, mostly because of the flawless execution of our event planner, Corinne, and her staff, the hotel manager, Jean, and the restaurant team! Let’s backup though. About 18-months before our “I do’s” we met Corinne on our first visit to the venue. She was amazing from the start. She gave us the most in-depth tour, and we left knowing this was our place. We booked within a week and from that moment, Corinne was so attentive, made us feel like we were her only clients (when she has way more than just us) and took every question, comment, or concern we had, seriously. She also has this fantastic way of making you feel totally calm!In that time, we had constant communication, but it ramped up after our planning meeting about 2 months from our date. She was knowledgable, worked with us on executing our ideas, and didn’t pressure us into anything. It was our day, and she let us build the day accordingly! On the weekend and day-of, Corinne made us feel so at ease, and assured us we had nothing to worry about. She was so on-top of everything, I completely forgot about “worrying” and just enjoyed the day and soaked it all in like we should be doing! We even ATE (she promised us she would make sure we did)! She was always right there if we needed something, and working the timeline like a pro. She truly made our day so special and effortless! We also worked closely with Jean, the hotel manager, on our hotel block, and she was a dream! So easy to work and communicate with, and get our guests feeling right at home during our wedding weekend! And we had such great service at our after-party and morning-after breakfast at the restaurant. They accommodated our pizza party until 1am in the lounge, and the never-ending stream of family and friends coming back the next day for yummy eats before heading home.My husband and I knew we loved The Roundhouse for all of the obvious reasons, but we truly would not have been able to have the wedding we did without Corinne and the rest of The Roundhouse team. We are forever grateful for the people who helped create our perfect day! I could go on-and -on! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Reviewed on 12-11-2017

When we looked at venues, none of the others compared to this, it has an immediate charm and different look then anything we have ever seen and we knew it was the one. The wedding coordinator, Corinne, was amazing, so organized and personable, she made sure everything went smoothly and was always available via phone or email. On the day, she was with us every step of the way and made sure it was a magical night! The venue is so beautiful and unique and it makes for amazing photos both outside and inside. It is also such a big and open space with the waterfall right outside. Whether you had an inside or outside ceremony, both spaces are spectacular. There are plenty of food options for cocktail hour and for the reception and every one of my guests were raving about the food afterwards! They also allowed us to do an after part at the lounge and we pre-ordered fried food and nachos through the roundhouse which also went down a treat! What we really loved were the guests being able to stay at the hotel at the roundhouse which is so chic and modern and such a lovely experience for everyone. You can count on their support in making your day the most memorable experience, especially when it comes to the food! One suggestion: go local with your vendors if possible (huge savings on flowers at a shop right down the road). My only dislike was the limited number of rooms, (however, they've already taken steps to improve capacity) and the prices for the rooms. The individual dimming large ceiling lighting in the event space is enough in itself. No need for a chandelier or string lights. The staff was extremely attentive and also inconspicuous. The best part about the venue, besides the incredible space and service, is the food. From start to finish, everything was perfectly executed and delicious. Ann Li(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-09-2016 Celebrated my wedding at the Roundhouse first weekend of October. Pros:* From the moment I stepped foot in the Waterfall Room of the Roundhouse, I knew this our venue for our big day. The modern, rustic and industrial grounds (consisting of a restaurant, event space, hotel) are absolutely stunning, grand, and beautiful. * Great staff and service. I recommend our wedding coordinator Corinne: Friendly and professional, she responds quickly, is easy to work with, listens, and works hard to achieve our vision. From the beginning planning stages to during the big day, Corinne kept our emotions at ease and the schedules running smoothly. On the day of, her assistant was also so sweet and helpful. The night of our wedding, they sent us a bottle of champagne and slices of our cake to our complimentary room at the Roundhouse hotel, which was clean and elegant. * The Roundhouse takes care of catering and cake, and we were initially worried because of mixed reviews for the Restaurant, but we were blown away with the awesome food and drinks. People raved about the lemonade at Arrival, food stations at Cocktail Hour (especially meatballs), and entrees at reception. Loved the fish with truffle butter. The rib eye steak was only a little overcooked/dry but everything else rocked. The cake and dessert were also very well received. (We did end up having lunch at Roundhouse restaurant, and we were happy with ambiance, food and service).Cons:* We had fully paid for all taxes and service charges for the day of and didn't want any of our guests paying anything out of their own pocket. So we were surprised to see tip jars on the bar area during Cocktail Hour. Wish we did more research into tips vs. service charges and that we discussed having tip jars out beforehand. * We wanted an hour of open bar with food after our wedding ended at 10pm. However, there was a miscommunication to the lounge which had prepared for 11pm-12am open bar. Our confused guests who ran over there for open bar ended up having to pay for some of their own drinks before we cleared things up. Note:* There is a minimum you have to meet (less on Friday versus Saturday). If you don't get enough headcount, you can include add-ons from food stations, dessert bars, or upgrade liquor package to meet it. * The Roundhouse has a super useful and detailed wedding checklist, make sure you get a hold of it on the onset. We got ours nearly at the end and wish we had it earlier to get ahead on planning. * The Roundhouse is a blank slate, where you basically have to rent anything from lighting, custom furniture, to chairs. Note that renting anything from fabric and cutlery upgrades, vintage lounge sofas to chiavari chairs are not cheap and will add up. * Airbnb and Lyft are readily not available in Beacon area, and some guests who took the MTA train station had to wait more than half hour for a taxi! If you have the resources, recommend paying for shuttles or calling the taxi companies to send a lot of cabs for pickup. Beyond ecstatic that we celebrated our marriage with family and friends at the Roundhouse!! My friends are still raving about it. Thank you so much! Reviewed on 11-10-2016

The Roundhouse is great for anyone looking for a beautiful spot that incorporates stunning natural views as well as bringing in streamlined, modern decor. We stayed in the penthouse at the hotel while getting ready, and since it overlooks the waterfall, it's really a stunning spot to hang out with friends and made for some great photos! The wedding itself really went above and beyond our expectations. It was a rainy day, so we had to move our ceremony and cocktail hour inside, but we think that ended up being even better since the indoor ceremony spot is so unique and beautiful. (I got to enter through the large barn doors at the top of the stairs which was a really special experience!) From there, I was so impressed with the service throughout the night. The waiters and bar tenders were friendly and willing to attend to guests needs, and the food was absolutely delicious! We got many compliments on the food and cocktail hour, as well as the Roundhouse itself. Many guests said it was one of the nicest and most unique weddings they'd ever been to since the space is so beautiful. It was great working with Kara throughout the process, and she also helped us to make small customizations to the evening to make it truly our own. It's also a huge plus that this venue includes food, bar, linens, flatware, tables, chairs, servers, and planning services. We loved that, even though we planned on an outdoor ceremony, the Waterfall room offered an equally beautiful alternative, should there have been rain. During our planning process, we went through 3 different event coordinators (due to internal personnel changes), which became a bit confusing in regard to correspondence. We sometimes had to wait long periods of time before getting an answer, which was a bit nerve-wracking during crunch-time before the wedding. Caitlin Rechi(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-07-2015 I knew right away when we looked at the Roundhouse that our wedding would be beautiful, and it truly, truly was. Everyone who attended it was super impressed by the space (both inside and outside), and many people said that it was the best wedding they had been too. The Roundhouse was a perfect mix of \"classy\" and \"hip.\" The food was AWESOME, and we are very picky about food. This was the only wedding food I would eat again. The Roundhouse provided us with so many choices for appetizers, entrees, etc., and people were overwhelmed by the quality of everything.\r\rHowever, there were some negatives about the Roundhouse, that I'm guessing may be due to the fact that they are still a relatively new venue and people are still working out some little kinks. Here are some issues that we had:\r-Communication: When we asked our wedding coordinator questions or sent things to her, it at times took her a long time to get back to us\r-Payment/bill: We were given a date to make our final payment and would have been able to pay it on time; however, the bill itself was not actually given to us until 6-7 days after our deadline and then we were asked to pay to overnight our check. This was a ridiculous request as it was not our fault the bill was being paid late, and they should have offered to pay for overnighting it\r-Some details promised did not occur: We chose to have our after party in the lounge of the hotel, and were told by our coordinator that the bar would stay open until 4 AM. We planned all of our shuttle buses to run until then. However, the bar ended up calling last call before 1 AM, and everyone had to leave. We were also told in our hotel block contract that we would be provided with a bottle of wine upon arrival and breakfast delivered to our room as we were staying in the penthouse suite. This did not occur.\r\rAside from these small issues, our wedding was tons of fun and very impressive. Hopefully they work out all the little kinks for the future! Reviewed on 26-08-2015

So many of our guests took photos in front of the waterfall, which gets lit at night and glows!\r\rThe food is fantastic. It is interesting without being polarizing. I heard many times that it was the best food ever tasted at a wedding. The strip steak and cod dishes were very generous portions. The service matched the quality of the food. It is a very well run operation.\r\rThe hotel at the Roundhouse is a great place to get ready and offers even more photo opps. We had most of our guests staying nearby in Fishkill, which is a 10-min ride away. simon spagnoletti(groom)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-10-2014 We were married at the Roundhouse in October of 2014. It was a great experience, and the venue’s modern/industrial style was a perfect fit for us. The venue, hotel, and restaurant are repurposed factory buildings, and we especially liked how they channelled the historical character into a space that felt contemporary and chic. It was important to use that the venue enabled a good “flow” between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and we wanted a space that would allow for dinner and dancing in the same room, and the Roundhouse’s dramatic space was perfectly suited. \r\rThe event coordinator, Simone, was lovely to work with and helped us throughout the planning process. She was prompt in answering our questions we especially appreciated her bourbon selections for the bar - she ended up including one of our favorites. She helped us narrow down a wide variety of options in a productive way - however we felt that the initial presentation of the menu options was overwhelming. Main courses were presented as a list of meat, sauce, vegetable, and starch options with no recommended combinations. After we asked, Simone provided recommendations - we felt that should have been presented in the first place.\r\rOnce we narrowed down our menu, everything was delicious. Trying not to be biased here, but this was the best wedding food we’ve ever had - and several guests made the same observation. The hors d'oeuvres were creative and artfully displayed, and the main courses were tasty and perfectly portioned. The cake (included in the package) tasted unequivocally great - not just great-for-a-wedding-cake. \r\rThe event staff on the day were great - unobtrusive, efficient, and responsive. They were unphased by the unexpected rain halfway through our ceremony and rapidly ushered our guests and the cocktail hour inside! Our one complaint was with the bar - there were several staples missing, such as sweet vermouth, and the bartender was not familiar with classic cocktails. Based on the bartenders at the Roundhouse’s restaurant, our expectations were higher. \r\rIn short, we had a lovely time and were very happy that we chose the Roundhouse for our wedding. The location is truly unique. My fiance and I looked for months, but couldn’t settle on a spot. Either the location felt too much like a “Wedding factory”, or would have been a ton of work setting up all the details. The Roundhouse has the best of both worlds, and provides an intimate ambiance in a beautiful space, without all the headaches of planning a barn wedding.\r\rThey met with us many times to go over the details for the day of. They provided planning guides, timelines, checklists, and recommendations to help us plan and make sure we weren't forgetting anything. They’re good at what they do, and it becomes apparent during the planning process and by the questions they ask that they enjoy it too. They help you consider all the details you never thought of, so that you’re not making decisions during the day of your wedding. Adrienne is also wonderful at knowing what type of style the bride and groom are looking for - her suggestions were spot on. \r\rWe had our reception on site and everything went smoothly without a hitch. The grounds are beautiful and the mountain and city provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos.\r\rAdrienne kept the day moving, and made sure every vendor was in place and sticking to the timeline. The staff was friendly and professional - they attended to every little need of our guests. There were so many small details that people appreciated (small things like having cold water ready IMMEDIATELY after the ceremony for everyone on a hot summer day is important) . We’re still hearing about this attention to detail months later.\r\rThe Waterfall room has great ambiance - it’s a sleek, modern space in a beautifully rustic factory shell, and the juxtaposition of clean lines and original building materials provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding.\r\rThe food was delicious. Not what you think of when you think of “Wedding dinners.” We received so many compliments about the entrees and passed hor d'oeuvres. They also did a fabulous job with the dessert (cupcakes instead of cake) - they were able to infuse our wedding theme into the cupcakes themselves.\r\rAnd cleanup was a breeze. They allowed us to leave most of our decorations over night, so we didn’t have to worry about them the night of. \r\rWe can’t recommend Adrienne and the staff at the Roundhouse enough. They did a truly wonderful job, and made our day the perfect one to remember. Reviewed on 10-11-2013
Terryn Giampietro(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-10-2013 The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls is a gorgeous wedding venue along the waterfall. Everything about the venue, food and staff was perfect for my wedding. The staff is super professional and works really hard at crafting the perfect wedding day, while making it really easy for the bride and groom. The food is delicious - I even had one guest tell me that it was the best chicken he had ever had. I thought he meant at a wedding, but he meant ever! I have received numerous compliments on the venue space and location. Its the perfect combination of chic and rustic and the setting is just beautiful. \r\rWe liked the venue and staff so much we even had our rehearsal dinner there and it did not disappoint. \r\r\rThe hotel decor is just amazing. A combination of rustic and industrial touches, the furniture is all locally sourced. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They are truly there to make you have a great stay and in my case, wedding.\r\rThe food at SWIFT is delicious. And you can wash it down with a nice locally crafted beer.\r\rAnd then there is the view. The hotel and restaurant overlook a lovely waterfall. If its nice enough outside, you can enjoy food and drinks outside on the Patio, overlooking the water.\r\rI would highly recommend this venue for all of the following: hotel, event needs, private dinning, dinner, drinks. Novisi Atadika(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-10-2013 The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls is a very special location and there is no other comparable location within Hudson Valley. I have a keen for design and so was picky on venues, trying to avoid those which looked \"wedding venuesque\". I was interested in something with rustic appeal but real barns were a bit too unpolished in the end. The Roundhouse features a mix of rustic and modern elements while being sensitive to its surrounding environment. Finishes are very high quality and there is attention to detail. \r\rThe venue has a beautiful natural setting next to a waterfall which is visible from the main reception room - the Waterfall room. It is also next to Beacon's charming main street. The food is very high end and fresh with an orientation towards sourcing locally. My guests were raving about the location, the waterfall, food, and the beautiful fall foliage surrounding us. As I live in NYC, my guests really enjoyed the break from the urban hustle and bustle. Service was on point and the event planner Adrienne is a pleasure to work with. She understands the needs of brides and anticipates potential issues. The McAlpine family has brought a very welcome addition to Beacon! Reviewed on 23-10-2013
Brianne Krysiak(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-09-2012 We took a gamble when choosing our wedding venue as it was under construction and would be ready shortly before our wedding date. Working with the Roundhouse team was incredibly professional, friendly, accommodating and fun! I was incredibly pleased at how everything was looked after leading up to the wedding to day of to the brunch the next morning. Not to mention, the food is FANTASTIC, and I am big on food and not easily pleased / impressed - what they accomplished for an entire wedding is truly amazing (hats off again to Chef Brandon and his team!). The entire Roundhouse team had made our day incredibly special and memorable: our guest are STILL raving about our wedding which was over a month ago. Very, very pleased with the service, professionalism, friendliness and the venue itself - you made this experience wonderful. My husband and I will be coming back for sure for years to come.
