The Rustic Barn at Pleasantly Devine Stables is a premier wedding and special events venue in Rock Tavern, NY. Situated just off I-84 and about an hour’s drive from Albany and New York City, this magnificent venue in the heart of the Hudson Valley offers everything you need to celebrate your special day in comfort and style. The venue comprises over 100 acres and includes picturesque hayfields, a delightful pond, and a tree-lined drive leading to a classic monitor-style barn. The barn has a heavy timber frame and a post and beam construction. The exposed ceilings and rough-cut wood beams help create a warm, homey aesthetic, perfect for celebrating your love with up to 130 of your family and friends. The barn has a catering prep kitchen and a covered outdoor patio area where you and your guests can mingle and relax. Maple Farmhouse, built in 1792, and the detached bridal suite are also available for you to use. Both provide plenty of space for you and your wedding party to get ready; the surrounding landscape makes a spectacular backdrop for your pre-wedding photos. The Rustic Barn at Pleasantly Devine Stables offers the flexibility you need to make your day your own. All packages include a grass backdrop wall for photos and a staff-operated golf cart to transport guests who may require assistance. Most of the couples I work with are choosing to be fully intentional about their wedding day by keeping it intimate and authentic to who they are. So, if you're a couple that isn’t into the big event, wants the day to be more about the two of you, or simply doesn’t have a large guest list, then our elopement sessions might be just the ticket.

I don't even know where to begin. We had the absolute time of our lives at our wedding. And a big part of that was all thanks to Kelly and Bill Devine. Kelly was always responsive to my emails leading up to the day. And on our big day our whole dream came to life. From ceremony to reception everything was absolutely gorgeous. The barn was decorated exactly how we wanted. We received so many compliments on how beautiful our venue was and that was all thanks to these two. And the food was amazing!!! best wedding food ever. Kelly and Bill did not only provide a beautiful venue. They were always there checking in on us on wedding day and just making sure everything was going the way we wanted. I could not have asked for a better team.

My husband and I are still on cloud 9 with how amazing our wedding was. We got married here at the end of October and the grounds were absolutely AMAZING, as was everything about the venue. However what makes this venue stand out from others are its owners, Kelly and Bill. From the very first email with Kelly she showed how much she and her husband Bill care about their couples and take such pride and enjoyment in their business. When I sent my interest email to venues, most replied back with an automated email and their giant packet of overwhelming pricing. Kelly however, emailed me back directly, started a conversation and made it a point to get to know me as a person not just her \"October xx bride\" Upon visiting the property and venue speaks for itself and my husband and I loved every little detail and how personal we would be able to make our experience. The months and weeks leading up to our big day Kelly was so helpful, accommodating, and understanding during the entire planning process. I would absolutely consider myself a \"type A\" bride and had such specific things my husband and I wanted to include in our day and she helped me achieve these. Now the day of our wedding I honestly don't even know where to start. Our guests still are telling us to this day it was the best wedding they have been to, the food through their in house cater was amazing, our bar service was perfect- our cocktail hour was AMAZING! and to top it off.. both Kelly and Bill made themselves known and welcoming to all of our guests to the point where at our bonfire afterparty our guests were calling them by name. Kelly handled every part of the day with ease and confidence and it made a world of a difference. She's in the perfect business and any couple that books their wedding here will be well taken care of! Our guests were truly amazed from start to finish and so were my husband and I. We still have conversations over dinner about just how truly perfect it was. Planning your wedding is no small task and takes so much detail, decision making, and planning. It is such a comforting feeling knowing we could trust our day in the hands of Kelly and Bill. Beautiful venue, and beautiful people inside & out! Anyone would be lucky to have them as part of your big day. They were one of our biggest blessings.

We live in Texas and wanted to plan an Autumn wedding in New York, Hudson Valley area, for my daughter. We read about The Rustic Barn at Pleasantly Devine Stables and immediately fell in love with the concept of a farm wedding and this beautiful venue nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley. My first concern was planning a wedding half way across the country. Kelly and Bill made it effortless and easy! They provided us with all the vendors we needed! The caterer, florist, music, and the photographer. Kelly ensured me that her vendors were trustworthy and reliable! She was right! The food was outstanding, the flowers gorgeous, as well as the photographer and the music. Kelly and her friendly staff took care of every detail. Unfortunately, it rained the day before the wedding and up until our 4 o’clock start time. Thankfully, Kelly and Bill had a back up plan. We did our vows ceremony on the barn patio that was covered and it was absolutely intimate and gorgeous. Then the reception in the barn. We had a fantastic time and would recommend highly this venue to anybody. Thank you Kelly and Bill for making our special day a huge success, and a memory that will last forever!

We got married at Pleasantly Devine Stables on 11/4/23. Our wedding was amazing thanks to Kelly and Bill. From the moment we toured the venue we knew it was the perfect place for us. Kelly and Bill were very kind and welcoming. Kelly is great at communicating and answering emails quickly. Kelly was very supportive during the planning process and helped me with any questions I came across. She was tremendously helpful with vendor suggestions which helped me put together a fantastic team that made our wedding day everything we wanted. The day of our wedding Kelly and Bill made sure everything ran smoothly and made me feel at ease. I was able to enjoy getting ready with my girls while Kelly handled all the details. The grounds are beautiful and the barn is an absolute dream. Kelly and Bill truly care about your day and help bring your vision to life. They are the most kind and supportive people. They truly know what they’re doing. If you’re looking for a rustic venue for your big day this is THE perfect place! You’ll be in great hands! I can’t recommend them enough!

This wedding was my sister’s dream until she was in a tragic car accident a little over a month before her wedding date. Kelly seems great until she isn’t. Like many of these other reviews my sister immediately fell in love with not only the venue, but Kelly. My sister believed in Kelly’s vision before the venue was even completed. Now, I understand how contracts work and I am fully aware that no matter the circumstance you pay a deposit to reserve the date. My family reached out to Kelly on August 7th and Kelly replied saying, she was so sorry and would like to donate to my nieces college fund. Conveniently she was out of the country until the 9th (yet still replied to text). When my family reached back out to her saying we understood they likely couldn’t refund the deposit, but we had put down a big chunk of money, her response was “she would see what she could do”. Fast forward no more replies until we reach out again. Never did she donate to my niece’s college fund. And after finally getting a hold of her 3 weeks after my sister’s death, the story changed and her excuse was she had already paid the caterer. Interestingly enough, my sister had not given Kelly a head count. When asked for a copy of the invoice for the payment to the caterer Kelly’s response was “I'm not sure what you're trying looking to do here, but our contract clearly states all payments are non refund-able. I am truly sorry for your loss but as I said if I could have helped I would have.My condolences to you and your family, but as my attorney and accountant advised I do not have to do anymore from a business side of things.” To me this is a cop out. She owns the business and is booked out well into 2025. If you cannot provide proof of payment, then that tells me you are lying. My family is suffering and my poor niece and my sister’s fiancé have to eat the cost of this when this is their livelihood we are talking about. All of our other vendors found it in their hearts to help us and void the contracts. Use this as you will, but what I do advise is please be careful what you sign. Her contract covers the basis, but in a very shady way. Make sure you read the lack of fine print, ie the lack of a four corner clause. Most of all realize at the end of the day this is only a business to her. It doesn’t matter if you are female owned or not, you can still be a heartless human.

We recently got married at Pleasantly Devine on 9/23/23. From the moment we met Kelly and Bill we knew we had chosen the right place. Kelly was extremely helpful and communicative with us throughout the entire process. On the day of our wedding we were faced with day full of rain. Kelly and her team made sure despite the weather our day went without a hitch. Everything was absolutely magical. We cannot recommend Pleasantly Devine Stables enough. We both cannot stop talking about how much fun we had and our guests had a blast as well!

From the day we met Bill and Kelly, we knew we were in good hands. Planning a wedding is a stressful and expensive process, but every time I stepped foot on the property or spoke with Kelly, I felt at ease. The barn is absolutely gorgeous, the property stunning, and the service that Kelly and Bill provide is unmatched. They would have done anything in their power to make sure our day went perfectly, and with some of the vendor issues and bad weather that we had, we still had the best night of our lives. I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else.

AMAZING VENUE and AMAZING PEOPLE! Choosing Pleasantly Devine Stables for our wedding was the best decision we could have possibly made. Kelly and Bill are amazing people and were so supportive in our wedding planning journey. They go out of their way to answer all of your questions and support you not only on the wedding day but through the entire process. We rented the farmhouse to get ready in day of and it was the perfect backdrop for our photos and a great space to start off our celebration! Our ceremony and reception went smoothly thanks to Kelly and Bill and all of our guests had a blast! The outdoor feel of this venue was exactly what we wanted and we loved that guests could freely move between the barn and outdoor spaces! We ended our night with a firepit and smores and it was the perfect ending to the most magical day! Pleasantly Devine Stables totally exceeded all of our expectations for what our wedding could be and we are so grateful!

I can’t say enough great things about Kelly and her staff at the venue. Let’s start with the fact that me and my husband walked into this venue and knew right away this is where we wanted to get married. It’s tucked away and more private than most venues which we loved and it’s absolutely stunning. Once we decided this was our place, Kelly guided us through our wedding process from vendors to helping me pick out decor. And the absolute icing on the cake is she has a something borrowed section that you can actually use a ton of decorations for no cost!! The day of our wedding she was on top of everything and it went so smoothly. I truly can’t put into words how thankful I am. It was the best day of our life and we couldn’t be happier.

I’m not sure I have to words to truly express how grateful we are to have had our wedding here. Our day was beyond perfection, all thanks to Kelly & Bill Devine. Our hearts were set on having our ceremony in the wooded site (which was beyond beautiful) but of course the day had an iffy weather forecast. While Bill tracked the storm on his premium weather app, Kelly & crew set up everything as planned. We got our dream ceremony in…redirected a little after for our pictures but that too ended up being incredible with the stormy skies in the background (also the cute clear umbrella). But from beginning to end everything was handled with such precision and thoughtfulness. We really felt like Kelly & Bill opened up their home to us and celebrated with us ! Thank you both for helping us create the most epic of memories for us! You know it was a great wedding when tons of guests reach out after the fact saying how beautiful it was, best wedding ever, great food, great music and great owners.

Book it! Don’t wait! Kelly is amazing! Everything ran smoothly and looked wonderful! We were married on June 10,2023. The day was everything we dreamed of. It was the perfect romantic ambience we were looking for. Several of our guests were shocked by how beautiful and elegant the barn was. The food was delicious. No one left hungry. The indoor/ outdoor space allowed our guests the ability to move around but also be close to the action. The fire pit was an added bonus and perfect way to end the night. I can’t not thank the staff enough for a wonderful night and Kelly for making my vision a reality. Kelly and Bill are the perfect hosts and make you feel like family.

We got married at Pleasantly Devine Stables on June 3rd, 2023, and from start to finish, we had nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue and its owners. Kelly and her husband Bill work tirelessly to provide the highest caliber of support and service I have ever seen in the wedding industry. From the moment we met almost two years ago, I knew we would be in good hands and I was not disappointed. Beyond that, the farm and the barn are absolutely beautiful. We booked when the barn was still just a slab of concrete and a vision in Kelly's amazing mind, and what we were welcomed into last Saturday was better than we could have ever dreamed. All of our guests were obsessed with the location and the style of the venue, from our cocktail hour setup to the farmhouse seating and the bonfire we held at the venue afterwards. We hired Kelly as our day-of coordinator (DO IT.) and she made sure that our vision came to life, while adding a few of her own truly perfect touches. She had great recommendations throughout the process, like who to hire as our photographer (Rob Charles absolutely kills it at this location!), where to do our first look, or how to serve drinks before our ceremony. She really tool the time to get to know our style and personality as a couple. When any hiccups occurred, Kelly and Bill were literally right there to swoop in and save the day. Our wedding was the most perfect day of my entire life, and I feel so incredibly lucky to have had the chance to have it at this venue, and to get to know Kelly and Bill in the process. My only wish is that I could go back and do it all over again! Thank you Pleasantly Devine!

Pleasantly Devine Stables was an incredible venue to have our wedding at on May 6th of this year. Everything was perfect from the views, to the set up, and down to the very last detail. Kelly was extremely helpful, punctual, and detailed, and everything went as perfect as she had promised it would. Our day was spectacular to say the least, and we owe a HUGE thank you to Kelly, Bill and their entire staff! I would recommend this venue to anyone who asks where to have their perfect barn style wedding. It was, it is, and will be always be, INCREDIBLE.

They only do one wedding per weekend and make you feel like the most special couple! The venue is beautiful with lots of different spots for photos. A beautiful pond, forest, field you name it! When we found Bill and Kelly's venue it was just an empty field and a fantastic idea. We decided to take a chance and book it because we believed in their vision. That was in October by June it was built. They had an open house and when I first walked in I cried because it was so beautiful and far above our expectations. We couldn't believe how beautiful everything was. By the time our wedding came every expectation was exceeded prior to us even thinking of it (and I tried to think of everything) Bill and Kelly are genuinely good humans who want the best for everyone. Our wedding was incredible and they went above and beyond to help us achieve our vision. There was great communication, reasonable rates and the location itself is stunning. It's a family affair, I highly recommend going with their in-house caterer, the food was amazing. Great food, Horses, ducks, a bridge over a pond, tons of places for photos and a beautiful barn to bring all of your loved ones to one cozy space to celebrate your love. What more could you ask for??

My now husband and I picked this venue before it was even built based off of the digital mock ups and when I saw the actual finished project it exceeded my expectations. The barn came out absolutely beautiful and Kelly and Bill made the whole planning process so easy. I planned our wedding and Kelly was so helpful along the way I did a few walkthroughs with her which was so helpful and put my mind at ease. On the day of Kelly and Bill basically took care of everything and made sure everything flowed smoothly. I could not recommend this venue enough. If you are looking for that rustic yet modern feel this is the place for you. My husband and I are so happy we chose pleasantly Devine stables.

Wow - There is so much more to Pleasantly Devine than the venue itself (which is elegant and rustic all at the same time). Kelly & Bill, the owners of the venue, are lovely people who are noticeably committed to the big day, as much as we were. We felt comfortable with them at all times and assured that everything would be taken care of. While the venue itself is currently new-ish, the experience felt as if Kelly & Bill had been putting on weddings for decades. Our wedding was fantastic and we strongly believe the owner of the venue played just as much of a role in that happening as the venue itself. The barn is gorgeous and really shines with the existing decor. We found no need to further decorate the venue given its current state and everything the Venue offers as additional touches. The fact that they venue already has a holder for table cards, some antique couches, some lanterns....etc. is hugely helpful and made the \"small things\" feel like a breeze. The venue also provides onsite catering (which we did not use) and are very open to outside vendors as well. If you are considering this venue, go in person for a tour and you will be quickly convinced of its value. 10/10 would recommend this venue to anyone looking for Rustic Chic that appreciates working with great people along the way.

I just got married at Pleasantly devine stables. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough!! It’s the perfect place to have your event!! It’s a beautiful venue and it has the picture perfect grounds! Kelly and Bill are the best people to work with, they go above and beyond to make sure your special day is perfect!!

We purchased the104 acre farm property in 2016, as a place to begin our future and pursue our dreams. This year we have decided to start our family operated business by opening to the public for, photography sessions, outdoor space rentals, as well as, wedding and special events. Kelly has a passion for interior design and a love for animals, and Bill has been in the construction business for over 25 years. We got married in 2011, and had a venue nightmare. With that being said we vow to make your day as perfect as we can.
