Today, it is a redesigned space that boasts exposed wood beams, elegant chandeliers, and exceptional cuisine. The Grand Ballroom at The Ryland Inn With the feel of a country farmhouse paired with modern flair, the breathtaking 30 foot windows and matching stone fireplace play perfectly in concert with the glimmer and glow of our six chandeliers. The Grand Ballroom provides the look of refined country elegance, an impressive space to host your next event. The space is complete with a private courtyard including outdoor bars, lounging, and fire pits. The Coach House at The Ryland Inn Our refurbished 200-year-old barn is nothing short of magnificent for your special day. Utilizing the original silo and materials from the original barn, this space is unique, authentic, and dramatic. Separate spaces for cocktails, dinner, and ceremony make this space incomparable. Whitewashed ceilings with dark wood exposed beams, Italia porcelain floors, French doors, floor-to ceiling stone fireplace; a combination of finished that complement each other in the most extraordinary way. Overnight Cottages at The Ryland Inn Nestled on 10 acres, adjacent to the Coach House, the Ryland Inn offers overnight accommodations. Our Breyer Barns consist of 3 unique cottages totaling up to 13 guest rooms. Our Pelham House, complete with pool table, barber shop and bar; the Kimblewick House with hair, make-up and nail stations. Both cottages enjoy large kitchens, common areas, and outdoor patios. The Hayloft Cottage is completely separate and the perfect retreat for the new couple.

We got married at the Ryland Inn 2 weeks ago and it was the wedding of my absolute dreams!! From the moment we booked, the staff at Ryland have been nothing but incredible throughout the entire planning process. The grand ballroom patio ceremony space was the most gorgeous area for the outdoor wedding ceremony I’ve been envisioning over the last 2 years, and the coach house reception room was so stunning and beautiful and the perfect place for a party with all your family and loved ones. If you’re looking for a venue that goes above and beyond, look no further. The Ryland Inn outshines all of your typical “wedding factory ballrooms with heinous swirly carpet and uplighting” that you’ve seen a million times everywhere else. The Ryland Inn is gorgeous and unique, a modern twist on rustic chic, with people who truly outdo themselves to make sure your wedding day is everything you want it to be. Planning a wedding is sometimes stressful, but if you book with Ryland, it doesn’t have to be. There are cottages on site for you and your wedding party or family to stay either the night before, the night of, or both, which was a huge factor of consideration for us. Being able to drop off all our stuff and have our wedding party together on site the night before, and then wake up all together the morning of made the day start off smoothly. There were 5 bedrooms all with private bathrooms, a kitchen, and a getting ready space for my hair and makeup glam squad to work comfortably. There are so many beautiful spots for photos all over the property and the natural architecture of the buildings are unbeatable. The food is truly out of this world, not only quality but quantity!! Our guests are still raving about all of our cocktail hour menu selections and said they’ve never seen such impressive variety at a wedding. This venue is really a one stop shop and offers everything you could want for your special day. If your wedding vibe is a beautiful and stunning ceremony space, unique and romantic reception area, great food, and a good mood, then you’ve found it at the Ryland Inn. Some special shout outs: Sam, our venue coordinator, was an absolute angel. She answered every single one of my questions and made sure the day went perfectly. She knows her stuff and has been in the game for several years. She’s an absolute pleasure to work with and our day wouldn’t have been possible without all of her help! Ted, our cottage concierge, was such a fun guy and waited on us hand and foot. Between helping us unload our car with luggage and decor to bringing us breakfast and lunch at the cottage to checking on us throughout the day, he was at our disposal the entire weekend and never hesitated to offer a helping hand with whatever we needed. Hayley (I think that’s her name I’m sorry if I can’t remember!) my bridal attendant, was my best friend that day. She followed me all over the property during photos making sure my dress was fluffed and veil was nicely laid for pictures, brought us a whole spread of food from our cocktail hour since we knew we wouldn’t have time to enjoy any of it due to our photos being scheduled right after the ceremony, helped me change into my reception dress, and always made sure I had a drink in hand. Several of our guests also complimented the wait staff for being so kind and attentive, and noted that the bartenders were also so nice and know how to make great drinks! Thank you again to everyone who made my dream a reality!

We chose The Ryland Inn for its dedication to service. Reading through the reviews and seeing how everyone raved about the attention to details, the helpfulness of the staff, what was included at the venue like table-side wine service, we knew that our wedding would be in good hands here. That was true for a lot of our planning process. We initially spoke with Lara in September 2022 and booked The Ryland Inn only two weeks later for our September 2023 wedding. We loved working with her and she was so incredibly helpful with answering my multitude of questions and even when we wanted to have another tour around Christmas to show my parents the venue. Ryland's presentation of the tasting was excellent and the food is just outstanding here. People are still texting me saying how much they loved the food at both the rehearsal and the wedding. We didn't meet the guest count minimum and they have so much additional food options to choose from that we were able to add on some fun items like ice cream sandwiches. Our bridal attendant was also helpful by getting us some take away boxes to have after the reception and the people setting up the decor did a great job. I do have to say that I'm unable to give the venue five stars for a couple of reasons: Lara went on maternity leave in January and while we were assured she was coming back, they handed us to one guy then about two months later over to Danielle. Up until our final details meeting in July did they say Lara was going to be around for the wedding, only she never was. I would've much rather preferred for them to be upfront about her not coming back (or even just telling us that she wasn't coming back) and fully handing us over to Danielle instead of us feeling like we were pushed to the sidelines as we waited for our actual coordinator to take over. It gave off the feeling that we were on a low-priority list. If you want to get ready on property, you'll need to book one of the cottages. We booked The Hayloft Cottage, which was great, though you can't get in there until 12. So if you have a larger party getting ready, you'll need to hire extra attendants or do what Danielle suggested and split the group with some in a different cottage (we hired extra attendants). Not a huge thing, but definitely something to be aware of. I also only ever saw Danielle once, just before walking down the aisle, on the entire wedding day when I was under the impression that the coordinator would be there to help with everything the day of. I'm very glad that we did our rehearsal dinner at Ryland even though we couldn't use the actual space and were instead in the restaurant area since another wedding was going on. This did make it very slow between courses and they don't have house speakers in that area so you'll need to bring your own speaker like us. All in all, we are very satisfied with choosing Ryland and loved so much of our wedding. I'd say any of the negative aspects certainly wouldn't determine from booking them if I had to do it again, but if you're considering it I would just make sure your expectations are in check!

They take care of EVERYTHING which allows you to forgo a wedding planner if you don't want one. 10/10 recommend, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Where do I begin? The staff from beginning to end were absolutely incredible and kind. This venue conducts a very professional and elegant event that leaves your guests in pure awe experiencing probably the best food and drinks in the wedding industry. Their tasteful display of food and food options are delectable. Every server was beyond helpful and sweet, making every interaction so pleasant. The day of getting ready help from Maria was so wonderful and she made sure everything was in order! Donna, the bridal attendant, was very helpful in directing us and helping us stay on time! The best advice she ever gave us was to step away and enjoy the canapés together for a few minutes. The maitre d (which I apologize for forgetting his name) was out of this world kind and helpful, he had the most wonderful energy and smile!!! The bartenders, the guests absolutely adored! They were so social and personable, which we and our guests loved chatting with!! Our guests said those were some of the best drinks they have ever had at a wedding. We couldn’t rave enough about this team, as they really are special in creating the most amazing day for you. Danielle helped us comb through the schedule and food options, with the best opinions she helped us create the exact menu we wanted!! This team made a vision come true and made things happen that we were so so grateful for. Being a local, the Ryland Inn gives a beautiful representation of this beautiful area and really puts hunterdon county on the map. The Ryland Inn was the most perfect location for our wedding. We wanted a rustic feel, not too far from the city without feeling like too much of a cookie cutter wedding venue. We immediately felt like it was the right spot. We got married in the coach house and loved having both houses and the bridal cottage for the weekend for our families. The house/ bridal attendants were so helpful throughout the weekend/ day of and took care of anything we needed. We initially were going to get married on the lawn, but after very hot and humid weather, and the chance of a thunder storm, we moved inside. The coach house looked enchanted and felt like a completely different room than it did during our reception. Sam, our “memory maker” was so attentive the entire 10 months we worked with her. She always got back to us in a timely manner and was so helpful. On the day of she had the calm but assertive energy we needed. Lastly the food was outstanding and all of our guests could not stop commenting on it. The Ryland made the entire process seamless and so enjoyable. We would recommend to anyone. We got married here in May 2023 in the Grand Ballroom and could not have selected a better venue. It’s of course a stunning space, but the food is also delicious and the staff are excellent. We were able to stay in one of the on-site cottages (Kimblewyck) the night before and night of the wedding, which was extremely convenient and helpful for getting ready. My only complaint would be that the house could have been a little better thought out - there wasn’t really anywhere to hang my dress where the garment bag wasn’t hanging on the floor, and the sinks in the bathrooms were incredibly small. The men were in the Grooms Cottage the afternoon of the wedding and had a great time.Sam was our Memory Maker throughout the entire process and she was so wonderful to work with. Leading up to the day of, she was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions thoroughly, and on the day of, helped ensure that everything ran smoothly (especially impressive since it rained on and off all day and the plans for the ceremony kept changing). Angela was my bridal attendant and I absolutely couldn’t have made it through the day without her. She was incredibly helpful and took care of all kinds of small things I never would have even thought of. It was truly the most wonderful day of our lives, and we are so thankful that we were able to have our wedding here.

We absolutely loved the Ryland Inn for our June '23 wedding ceremony and reception. We were married outside on the patio and then had our reception in the Grand Ballroom. Our guests cannot stop raving about how gorgeous the venue is, how professional and kind the staff were, and how delicious the food was. Our wedding went so well thanks to the staff at the Ryland Inn who are truly experts at what they do. Would 100% recommend to any couple!

We absolutely loved the Ryland Inn for our June '23 wedding ceremony and reception. We were married outside on the patio and then had our reception in the Grand Ballroom. Our guests cannot stop raving about how gorgeous the venue is, how professional and kind the staff were, and how delicious the food was. Our wedding went so well thanks to the staff at the Ryland Inn who are truly experts at what they do. Would 100% recommend to any couple!

I knew from the moment we stepped onto the property that our wedding would be magical. We got married on Sunday, May 21st in the grand ballroom at the Ryland Inn. The event stylists who worked on our wedding were amazing from our first meeting. Sam went above and beyond to make sure that every detail of our wedding was perfect. Sam was prompt in her email communication and answered every single question I had about our big day. My husband has a severe dairy allergy, and the chef at the Ryland Inn tailored our entire wedding menu to him. My husband was able to eat almost everything! It is very rare that a venue will change the menu in order to accommodate a food allergy. The entire day was perfect. They set up all of my decors perfectly. The entire was smooth and our guests are still talking about what a gorgeous venue the Ryland Inn is. I would 10/10 recommend to get married here.

Every single step of the way everyone at The Ryland Inn made the process so incredibly easy and fun. Part of the reason why we went with The Ryland Inn is because we knew Landmark Hospitality cared a lot about making sure people had a great experience at their venues, and that was the case. We also knew the food would be incredible at The Ryland Inn and that was DEFINITELY the case.On the day of, everything went perfectly and the little things the attendants did at The Ryland Inn for us continue to blow us away when we think about our wedding - from making sure the room was set up perfectly to the little details like handing us and our bridal party our signature cocktails right after we walked back down the aisle after the ceremony. The food itself was absolutely incredible and blew away our guests. In the weeks since our wedding we still randomly get texts about how amazing the food was. From the drinks, to the food, to the attendants, to the Grand Ballroom, everything was perfect - it seemed not a single detail went unnoticed, and we felt so taken care of the entire event.

Any question we had, she either had the answer instantly or was able to get back to us in short order. She is so easy to to talk to, communicate with, and discuss ideas with. Plus she’s hilarious! The venue itself is simply gorgeous (highly recommend the Coach House), and as a NYC foodie, the food was fantastic. The Ryland had a massive list of recommend vendors that all knocked it out of the park as well. I cannot recommend Sam and the Ryland Inn more. 5 stars!

Our event coordinator, Samantha Lipman, made the entire experience seamless + amazing. The wedding weekend was perfect, starting with the onsite rehearsal dinner + stay in the cottages. The wedding day went very smoothly, and all the staff were very accommodating. They did break my personalized champagne class, personalized lasered name for menu setting, and chipped the French Bulldog figurine we had for our wedding cake. I assume it all occurred in haste of turning over the ceremony space to the reception space. Everything else about the weekend was absolutely breathtaking and incredible; I am still getting compliments on how delicious the food + drinks were as well as how beautiful the space itself is. We were married in the Coach House, as I loved the rustic elegance of it. The cocktail hour space was to die for with the silo!!

The Ryland Inn helped make the wedding of my dreams a reality. We were immediately impressed with the beauty and elegance of the venue on our first visit there. The Grand Ballroom was just spectacular and I knew it was the perfect place for our winter wedding. Danielle was great to work with, always willing to answer my million questions throughout the planning process. As it got closer to the date she was on top of everything and made us feel calm and excited for our wedding at the Ryland. The food was outstanding, so much so that so many of our friends and family are still talking about it! The kitchen staff went above and beyond to make sure there was something for everyone. They were eager to accommodate my dairy allergy as well as any other dietary restrictions our guests had. The set up for cocktail hour was perfect with the various stations and the passed appetizers. Our guests had so much fun at the cocktail hour that it was hard to get everyone to move into the ballroom. The ballroom set up was spectacular with the roaring fire and the glittering chandeliers. Our guests also had the option of going outside where we had fire pits set up, and they loved it despite it being so cold. The entire staff at the Ryland was impeccable. Daniel, our maitre’d, and Angela, our bridal attendant, were incredibly organized, attentive, and kind. The Ryland Inn absolutely exceeded our expectations and helped us have the most perfect wedding reception we could have ever imagined!

Lara, our event planner was there for us every step of the way through the planning process. She was there to answer any questions we had helped us personalize every aspect of our wedding day. Billie and her team went above and beyond throughout the night to make our guests feel welcome. From the moment they arrived our guests felt welcomed, they were greeted with warm apple cider while they waited for the ceremony to start. We have received countless compliments on the food, especially during cocktail hour. The ability to customize the menu throughout the night allowed us to ensure all of our guests had food options they would enjoy. Our parents were also blown away by their attention to detail. Billie and her team ensured our parents were well taken care of throughout the night which included bring them plates of certain cocktail hour stations to their tables so they didn't have to get up. The popcorn at the end of the night was the perfect send off for our guests on their way out. I couldn't be happier with our choice to have our wedding at the Ryland Inn. The only negative thing I could say is that the day is over. If we had to choose again, we would 100% pick the Ryland Inn.

Our wedding was on the hottest day of the year so far (103 degrees) and the staff were incredible, making sure we were hydrated and comfortable. Angela, the bridal attendant was a literal angel. I've never seen someone work so hard or put so much TLC into their job. Daniel, the Maitre' d, kept bringing us cool towels throughout the evening. Everyone made sure we had a drink in our hands at all times. They truly went above and beyond for us and you 1000% get what you pay for at the Ryland!

It fit my vision perfectly, and my husband heard the food was great, so he was on board too.Planning with Lara was really easy - she was on top of the details so that I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Day of, Lara, the maitre’d, and my bridal attendant made sure the day went perfectly. If there was any sort of snafu, I was totally unaware!The food and drinks were delicious! The Ryland Inn was super accommodating with customizing dishes and making our signature cocktails. To say that the Ryland Inn is a special place is an understatement! My daughter and son-in-law fell in love with it from the moment we all first saw it. It was our first and last stop in terms of venue shopping. It has the warmest atmosphere and beautiful grounds for photos. From the day we signed a contract with Ryland, dealing with the event coordinator, Danielle Gomez, made wedding planning easy and as stress-free as possible. Even the night of the food tasting was a reception in itself! The wait staff during the wedding were not only courteous and kind, but fun! They laughed and danced right along side us while making sure everyone was taken care of. The food for the rehearsal dinner the night before, cocktail hour and dinner during the wedding was spectacular. I never saw people pounce on a plate of lamb chops like that before. The wedding attendant, Angela, stayed with us the entire day making sure we wanted for nothing. They even packed us up left-over food. The way the Ryland Inn is set up, you don' have to worry about weather either. If an outdoor wedding isn't possible, they decide 3 hours before-hand and turn the inside into a beautiful area for the ceremony. I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. All I know is that my daughter, her husband and everyone else did nothing but enjoy the day with no hassle whatsoever. I also found them to be very reasonably priced. I really believe we got more than my money's worth. Definitely check them out. I promise you won't regret it!

I had the wedding of my dreams and the Ryland Inn made it possible. We worked with Sam throughout the process and she could not have been more helpful, kind, and responsive. Our guests raved about the venue, and the food was out of this world. One cool thing that the Ryland has that I've noticed many venues do not is a full tasting, where you can bring 4 guests. We got to pick our signature drinks and customize our entire menu. Our 4 friends were raving about the experience and it was so cool to get their perspective on our menu. On the day of our wedding our bridal attendant and maître d were fantastic. They checked in on me throughout and every detail was taken care of. I truly can't thank the team at Ryland Inn enough. Choosing Ryland Inn was the best choice my husband and I made.

Our guests raved about the venue, and the food was out of this world. One cool thing that the Ryland has that I've noticed many venues do not is a full tasting, where you can bring 4 guests. We got to pick our signature drinks and customize our entire menu. Our 4 friends were raving about the experience and it was so cool to get their perspective on our menu. On the day of our wedding our bridal attendant and maître d were fantastic. They checked in on me throughout and every detail was taken care of. I truly can't thank the team at Ryland Inn enough. Choosing Ryland Inn was the best choice my husband and I made.

We had an absolutely perfect wedding day part 2 at the Ryland Inn. Danielle worked closely with us every step of the way, from postponing our wedding due to covid to helping everything look perfect the day of. Everyone at the Ryland truly thinks of every little detail - I’m not kidding when I say there was not a single thing that went wrong that day. I loved how our Maitre D brought us in to the grand ballroom right towards the end of cocktail hour to take a moment and just soak in the gorgeous final setup before they opened the doors to everyone. My bridal attendant was extremely helpful the whole day, helping to carry my train and flowers, and then bringing my husband and I a little bit of each appetizer in the private room upstairs right after the ceremony. This allowed us to take a moment to breathe and enjoy all of the delicious food before heading down to mingle with all of our guests. The food was AMAZING!! It was one of the biggest reasons we booked the venue and it exceeded our expectations - the passed apps, all of the appetizer food stations, the entrees… so so delicious. And finally the venue itself is just beautiful - we got married in the grand ballroom, and we had fairly simple decorations because the space just speaks for itself. We cannot thank everyone at the Ryland enough for our perfect day!

Ok, I have to give 2 reviews. We were postponed wedding from 2020 to 2021. So I will leave a covid review and day of review. Please read the entire thing. I give the a 2 for how they treated us during COVID. We were originally scheduled for October 2020 and had booked our day back in 2018. Both my husband and I work in healthcare and knew that there was no way we were going to be able to have our day in October 2020. There was a lot of back and forth on the postponement and I was NOT getting married on a Monday or Thursday after paying a premium for an October wedding. We were not treated well by anyone in the organization at that time. I understand that everyone was going through a lot, but the way we were treated could have been handled better. All that aside.. Day of, if I could give a 10/10 I would. I have to say, you really get what you pay for. The day of everything was absolutely flawless. My guests could not stop RAVING about the food, the service, the bartenders etc etc. My bridal attendant Tonya was AMAZING, my maitre D was also AMAZING. We had a guest that required medical attention. Our Maitre D handled the whole situation and NO ONE KNEW. She was so amazing I cannot thank her enough for how the day went. The servers were so involved and made the guests really enjoy time their time at the Ryland. All in all, I could not have asked for a better day or a better staff. The coach house is like a dream, everyone could not stop talking about the room, the decor, the food, or the service. I wish I could relive this long awaited day, over and over again. It was a journey to get to this day. If you want a venue that knows how to throw the best wedding.. the Ryland has it down.

We had the most incredible wedding at the Ryland Inn!!! We fell in love with the decor and the gorgeous grand ballroom as soon as we stepped inside. It has the most cozy, romantic, and elegant style that was just perfect for our fall wedding. The fireplace is stunning and made such a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, I was actually happy it was moved inside due to rain. The food and drinks at the Ryland Inn are INCREDIBLE!!! The tasting was our favorite wedding planning event by far and we were able to bring all of our parents along which they loved. I worked with Lara throughout the entire planning process and she was great! She is very detail oriented and always answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. Our maître d Daniel was very attentive and made sure we and our VIP guests were happy and well fed throughout the night. My dad is still talking about how helpful he was! My bridal attendant, Toni, went above and beyond the entire day! She held my dress through hundreds of very rainy photos, wiped my tears seconds before walking down the aisle, and even gave me a foot massage before changing my shoes during the reception. She made me feel like a queen the whole day! My guests cannot stop talking about how amazing the food and service were at the Ryland Inn. The venue is stunning, food is the best, and the staff creates the perfect experience!!!

We got married on August 21, 2021 at the Coach House at the Ryland Inn. The Ryland Inn is the absolute perfect wedding venue - they truly know how to make a wedding run smoothly from start to finish. We worked with Danielle as our memorymaker - she was extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and responsive throughout our planning process. The Ryland Inn provides an amazing food experience, everything served from the cocktails, to passed hors devours, to dinner and dessert - was second to none. The grounds provide a scenic background for photos. We held our wedding in the Coach House, with the ceremony on the lawn. Everything was meticulously planned and ran smoothly. The venue also has multiple spaces for getting ready - we used the Hayloft Bridal Cottage which was a perfect space for 10 ladies to get hair and makeup done that morning. The Ryland Inn provided a butler for the bridal cottage in addition to a bridal attendant, a maitre-d, and numerous servers, bartenders, and other staff. The venue spaces are updated and fresh while still providing a rustic-elegance experience for guests. The location of the venue is convenient to many hotels and local restaurants.

My wife and I got married at the Ryland in this past weekend, and it was truly a magical day. The ceremony was absolutely stunning, and the cocktail hour and reception were filled with fantastic food and even better service.Some highlights for anyone not convinced to choose the Ryland:-Billie: She made sure that everything was perfect, and also managed to ensure that we were not worried about anything and kept us totally calm. When we were worried about the weather, she sat down and explained to us how the Ryland Inn staff uses three different apps to track the weather in order to make an informed decision about whether or not we could set up our ceremony outdoors. Her demeanor totally calmed us down, and her plan worked out perfectly.-Sam: She worked tirelessly with us through the planning process, always put our wants/needs at the forefront, and was willing to offer suggestions when we needed them in a way that was truly helpful instead of overbearing. She is also simultaneously fun and no-nonsense. You'll have a blast talking to her, and she will also make sure everything gets done (and gets done right). Sam promised us the wedding of our dreams, and she absolutely delivered.-Toni: I didn't know what to expect from a bridal attendant, but I never even could have dreamed up someone this attentive! My wife and I swear she could read both of our minds; she was always there with whatever we needed exactly when she needed it. Toni was also there for all members of the bridal party and made sure everyone was at ease. She's also a great dancer and a ton of fun - all of our guests loved her!-Clovis: We specifically requested Clovis to be part of our wait staff because of his energy and personality. He made everyone feel at ease and provided great service while also creating a more fun environment for all of our guests.-Aja: She was behind-the-scenes the day of our wedding, making sure things ran smoothly, and they sure did! She was also so kind and made the day stress-free. I actually wish we had gotten to work more with her throughout the whole process, so I would suggest asking for her!

Our experience with the Ryland Inn was perfect!! The Ryland Inn was the one and only venue my husband and I visited. I fell in love immediately when we walked through the doors of the Coach House. The rustic charm and coziness of the Coach House fit us perfectly. It was exactly what we were looking for. Our event stylist, Sam, is truly amazing! She was with us every step of the way. She made the entire wedding planning process so easy and stress free! She answered every question I had and responded to every email I sent. She stayed on top of every detail and helped make our wedding day the most perfect day. We feel so lucky to have had Sam as our event stylist!! Planning a wedding during a pandemic was stressful and when we needed to postpone, we felt so much love and support from both Sam and Michelle. They are truly so wonderful to work with! They supported every decision we made. During a difficult time for all, the Ryland Inn stood by their couples. Words can’t express how much we love the Ryland Inn. We rented two of the cottages on the property and it was definitely worth it. The entire staff at the Ryland Inn is the absolute best. We loved working with everyone there and always felt like we were taken care of. A special shout out to Garfield for being there for us the whole night!! Our wedding was more than we could have imagined! It was everything we dreamed it would be and more because of the Ryland Inn. My husband and I had our wedding at The Ryland Inn this past Saturday and all that I can say was that it was a dream come true! The Ryland was the first venue that we visited on our search and as soon as we left, we knew it was where we wanted to hold our special day. She made sure I stayed hydrated while taking pictures outside in the heat, made sure my husband and I tried all the food from our cocktail hour, and fixed my dress all night with safety pins (when my bustle broke!) The rest of the Ryland staff was fantastic, attentive, and a joy to be around. We have not heard one negative comment from a single guest that attended our wedding. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy a meal together at The Ryland's restaurant. My husband and I would recommend The Ryland Inn to every single person we know that is planning a wedding!!

Absolutely perfect is the best way to describe our experience having a wedding at the Ryland Inn! The Ryland Inn was the only venue we looked at and after our tour with Sam, I knew this was where I wanted to have my wedding. Sam was my Event Stylist/Memory Maker and I could not have asked for a better point of contact. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and flexible. She was there to answer my questions over my 20 months of planning and made adjustments for me even after our final details meeting! The entire day/night was flawless because of the staff at the Ryland. Many of our guests commented about how great the service was - drinks never empty, napkins never not refolded, new utensils in hand within seconds if one was dropped, etc. Special shoutouts to Daniel, our Maitre D, Maria, our Bridal Attendant, and Clovis, one of the servers! All day/night we felt so taken care of and anything we needed they took care of for us. In addition to the service, the food was INCREDIBLE. From drinks when guests arrived before our ceremony, to cocktail hour, through dinner, and including our Jersey Boardwalk dessert station and donut wall, the food was outstanding! Sam/The Ryland Inn even put together a special plate for my fiance for dinner as he is a VERY PICKY eater. We rented the Kimbelwick House and the Groom’s Cottage on the property to get ready and stay overnight. The concierge, Tim, was great about responding to any questions and requests. It was great being able to relax the day of while getting hair/makeup done before our first look and ceremony!The Ryland Inn was a dream to work with and our day was seamless, stress free, and truly perfect! I couldn’t have asked for more and would recommend them 100 times over to anyone looking for a rustic, romantic, and elegant wedding!

Absolutely perfect is the best way to describe our experience having a wedding at the Ryland Inn! The Ryland Inn was the only venue we looked at and after our tour with Sam, I knew this was where I wanted to have my wedding. Sam was my Event Stylist/Memory Maker and I could not have asked for a better point of contact. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and flexible. She was there to answer my questions over my 20 months of planning and made adjustments for me even after our final details meeting! The entire day/night was flawless because of the staff at the Ryland. While we did have to postpone a full year due to covid, our day ended up being absolutely perfect!! The Ryland truly has a first class team from your event stylist to the wait staff. Everyone is so professional, helpful, flexible, and does everything in their power to make your dream wedding day a reality. I would not have gotten thru wedding planning if it wasn't for Lara. She went above and beyond in all aspects and made me feel like I was the only wedding she was working on, when I knew there had to have been a ton. From the ceremony, to reception to our after party the day went flawless! Everyone was gushing over the beautiful space and the food! I still have guests who can't stop talking about the mac and cheese we had at our cocktail hour. We also rented all 3 cottages on the property to get ready in and to stay over night which was so convenient! The concierge Tom was awesome and beyond helpful. He even jumped in to help my mother in law on the phone with step by step directions who got lost driving to the venue. Overall the Ryland Inn is amazing and we are soooo happy we got to finally have our special day there! For reference, we got married in the Ballroom and got ready at the Kimblewick house. My experience with the Ryland was nothing short of perfect. If you’re a current Ryland bride, stay excited because you’re in for such a magical day! First of all, the venue is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. But the staff is what makes that place! To start, Samantha Lipman is one of the greatest people I’ve ever met. She is so organized, professional, respectful and kicks ass at her job. I am an extreme Type-A.. and Sam was reading my mind before I even had to ask. She was in clear communication with my husband and I prior to the wedding. She was very personable and got me so excited about everything. We were scheduled to have our rehearsal dinner in the upstairs room of the Ryland. However, my husband’s grandma had a major heart attack prior to the wedding and we were afraid she would not be able to make it up the stairs. The Ryland brainstormed and put together the most beautiful rehearsal dinner at the Kimblewick house for us. Leo, our waiter, was GREAT! He made sure all of the guests had exactly what they needed and was very attentive. When we headed to welcome drinks, he stayed back to clean up. He left us a note about how he stocked the fridge with my favorite drink and that he had so much fun that he requested to work our wedding the next night. Ted, the attendant of the Kimblewick house, was also amazing and so friendly. We ordered high tea the morning of. Chef Christopher let me alter the menu of high tea to my preferences and it was such a special way to start the day. The wait staff was SO PERSONABLE and attentive. My husband and his family have owned high end catering companies. They have high expectations. They appreciated that the food for each table came out all at once, so no one was waiting. Also – after the ceremony, when we walked from the ceremony space into the building for cocktail hour.. the waiters all line up with trays of our signature drinks, red wine, white wine and beer. So as guests walked into the building, they could easily grab a drink without a long line at the bar. AND THE FOOD… OMG. They say as the bride and groom you don’t really eat at your wedding.. my husband and I devoured every bite. The guests were raving about the food all night. I felt like a true princess. I was completely taken care of. Anything I needed, Sam, the Maitred or the bridal attendant, were there. The next morning, we returned to the Ryland to pick up our stuff and it was all neatly boxed up and put away waiting for us. They were amazing, from start to finish. I would never good conscience recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are military. It is such a sad thing because I was so excited to have my wedding here but time and time again, the staff lacked communication and compassion. After putting a $5000 deposit down with Lauren for my wedding, within a month she quits and I am \"transferred\" to another wedding coordinator who took MULTIPLE weeks and MULTIPLE attempts on my part to reach out to her with no response. Finally after multiple emails and weeks had gone by, Michelle finally called me back so we set up a meet since my fiance was in town (he's military). After finally setting up a date, Michelle said she would comp a dinner for us due to the lack of communication. After our meet, we got a comped drink only. 6 months later COVID hit. The venue, FIRED my wedding coordinator and didn't tell me. I was forced to speak with Danielle who was less than helpful and when restrictions were lifted, they hired my wedding coordinator back. Even though our original wedding date was 12/26/2020, we didn't want to chance it because we have family members who assured us they wouldn't come due to underlying health reasons. The venue was not helpful with letting us push our date to 2022. They did not want to agree to our current contract due to covid and my fiance's military orders since he was due to deploy spring/summer of 2021 for a minimum of 6 months. If my fiance didn't have orders to deploy, we would have been able to do a 2021 wedding. The venue DID NOT CARE .We were forced to pick a new date out of season in late 2022 on a Sunday afternoon so the cost would not greatly increase. Now after the constant mistreatment, lack of communication and new orders arising for my fiances job again, we were forced to entirely cancel out wedding and guess what? I had emailed my wedding coordinator and days later still did not receive a response. I emailed their rep, Danielle, days later still did not receive a response. I had to send a certified letter to the venue to receive an email response from the venue. Finally, after my multiple attempts to get their response, I was just not informed my wedding coordinator (whom they fired and rehired) was on a leave of absence. As a client, I should have been aware of that and both Michelle and representatives of the The Ryland Inn failed to inform me of that. After all this, in order to cancel, I would still need to owe money for my late fall 2022 wedding after my $5000 deposit. You pay for service except i received none.

The tasting was incredible and assured us just how amazing the food was going to be. Danielle worked with us the weeks leading up to our big day and she didn’t skip a beat. She had everything perfectly set up and everything ran like clockwork. Aja took care of us throughout the night to ensure that we had everything we needed. The entire team was remarkable and our guests recognized their passion and professionalism. We truly felt like we had the best venue, down to the service, food and accommodations. We hope that we can go to the Ryland Inn for someone else’s wedding so we can experience the venue as a guest. We highly recommend the Ryland Inn and all their amazing services. We are so glad to have found the Ryland Inn for our wedding, and would absolutely return to them for future venue needs, without hesitation. We primarily worked with Danielle, who was very professional, helpful and responsive throughout the process - from when we first met and throughout the planning stages. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we first rearranged our wedding plans and then subsequently made the difficult decision to not hold our wedding event as planned, but instead eloped at Ryland. While not having the larger event was obviously difficult for everyone involved, Danielle and the Ryland team were gracious and generous in their understanding of our circumstances, and were very helpful in working with us to find solutions that worked best for everyone involved. We were so glad to still be able to have our elopement at Ryland, and cannot wait to return the the restaurant and venue for many future meals and events. Amidst all of the emotions and difficulty of pandemic wedding planning, the Ryland Inn was a bright spot that made our lives easier. We initially wanted to keep our wedding at the Ryland Inn, but the only dates available were dates such as 9/11 and Halloween. When we asked Landmark Hospitality if we could get a full refund given the circumstances, they immediately started avoiding us, not responding to any of our emails or calls. It required an email directly to the CEO of Landmark Hospitality to receive a response. She pushed us to hold our wedding on a non weekend day to maximize her profits, telling us that \"Pandemic Monday is the the new Saturday!\" Unbelievable given the circumstances. Given that we had already paid over 80% of the total deposit, they held our money hostage for over 2 months, which prevented us from booking another venue. We still have not received our full deposit back and at this point, are treating it as a sunk cost. However, it's our responsibility to all of the potential bride and grooms out there - we highly recommend looking at other venues. The actions of Landmark Hospitality's staff and leadership are truly shameful - we hope nobody else has to go through this experience.

Where to begin? Looking for a venue that felt like my husband and I was a little difficult, as we really are not a \"ballroom or barn\" type couple. I happened upon The Ryland Inn by chance and made an appt. to visit it. This was the first place we were going to look at, my now husband had to work so my parents and I went and I absolutely fell in love with the grounds and the space. I called my husband and told him all about it and that was it we booked that day. Lara was our wedding coordinator and we could not have asked for anyone better. Lara answered any questions we had and honestly we didn't have too many because she literally took care of everything that we didn't have too many unanswered questions. The wedding tasting was pretty much a mini wedding and allowed you to really understand the quality of food they will be serving. Food was important to us and the fact that during the tasting the chef explains the farm to table dishes was a bonus to us. The day of our wedding we were so excited, Lara coordinated all our vendors so all we had to do was show up and enjoy our day. My bridal attendant Toni was a star! Toni goes above and beyond not only for her bride but for the groom, our family, and really our guests, you know and feel just how much she loves what she does and I could not have asked for anything more. Kat and the wait staff what can I say... Amazing! I can not say enough, everyone of our guests and I truly mean everyone came up to either myself, my husband, or our parents to tell us just how much they loved the entire staff. Impeccable is actually the word we had heard over and over again and we could not agree more. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts you made our wedding day the most memorable day ever and its so amazing to continue to hear from guests just how much fun they had and just how amazing the staff and venue were. We worked with Michelle, she is so kind, helpful and informative and was truly a pleasure to work with. During the wedding planning process I realized that having reliable vendors is key, and that's exactly what you get with the Ryland Inn. Michelle and her team made sure everything ran smoothly the day of my wedding, I didn't have to worry about anything. Anytime I mentioned that I was getting married at the Ryland it was met with either \"it's so beautiful\" or \"The food is amazing\" - both are true! There's really no need for an abundance of flowers or decorations because The Ryland truly speaks for itself. The Coach House checked all the boxes. Our wedding night was full of great food, amazing ambience, and perfect acoustics for music & speeches.Note: By moving the dance floor into the “Silo Bar” area of the Coach House, we were able to very comfortably accommodate close to 200 people for a seated reception.Special thanks to event stylist Michelle Ross, whose ability to navigate the obstacles and rise to all the challenges that came her way is unsurpassed. Her patience and flexibility meant such a great deal to us and our families, and it’s no secret that Michelle undoubtedly went above and beyond to ensure all our concerns and needs were addressed. She truly showed grace and poise throughout this entire process, and we have the utmost respect for her and the entire Ryland Inn/Coach House Team’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. The Ryland Inn is an incredible wedding venue. I got married here on New Years Eve in the Coach House and it was truly spectacular. It is stunningly beautiful with so much charm. I loved that it didn't look like your typical NJ wedding venue. The food is amazing, which was one of my biggest deciding factors in choosing a venue. My guests cannot stop raving about how good it was, which makes me feel really good! Something that sets the Ryland Inn apart from other venues is how amazing their staff is. The service they provide is top notch and they pay attention to every detail. For example, when dinner is served they serve the entire table at the exact same time. I never would have thought that this would be such an important detail, but you wouldn't believe how many of my guests mentioned it to me. Its little things like this that truly sets the Ryland Inn apart from the rest. I worked with Michelle and she was absolutely amazing. She was so accommodating, quick to respond to the many emails I bothered her with, and really just made me feel so special. She truly made my experience that much nicer.What you should also know...They say that the Coach House fits 200 people, but please know that if you are anywhere close to that it will be extremely tight. We had 155 people and it was still tight. The cocktail room is very small. Had the weather cooperated we would have been able to utilize the outdoor patio to make things more comfortable, but of course it rained during cocktail hour so my guests were crammed into the cocktail room like sardines. This was the one and only complaint I received from anyone about my wedding. The other issue I had was that the fireplace in the main room shares a flue with the fireplace on the outside patio. They lit a fire outside towards the end of the night and the smoke from it kept coming into the reception room. I hate the smell of fires so this was really annoying for me. They need to fix this. I was torn between 4 and 5 stars despite these issues because it is truly a phenomenal wedding venue! My advice to you, if you are considering the Coach House, would be to have it in warmer months and make sure they do not light a fire outside, but rest assured you will not be disappointed in choosing this venue!!

The buildings and decor are beautiful, but the food was not good at all. I really wanted to love it because I heard so many great things about the Ryland Inn, so I was shocked with the quality of the food and the wait staff. The cheese display was average but the cocktail appetizers were nothing special. And the portion size on the dinner entrees were extremely small. Also the bathrooms were not clean and it didn't seem like the staff attended to them. I would in no way recommend this venue for any bride wanting to get married.

Danielle was absolutely amazing during the days leading up to our wedding, almost every single vendor we hired came from her recommendations and advise and she did not steer us wrong. I am a very type A bride and she was understanding, responsive, and helpful. By the time our wedding day arrived, we felt very at ease and prepared, but we had no idea just how beautiful it would be. I can't say enough about the amazing event the Ryland Inn prepared for us. The ambiance from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception was absolutely breath taking. We had people raving about it the entire night and the days afterward. It is pricey, yes, but when you have the most perfect stress free night, every penny is worth it! This is not a wedding factory, there is nothing tacky or cheesy about this beautiful place and every wedding hosted there feels special and custom to your needs and wants. My bridal assistant made sure I was taken care of the entire night and that we did not want for anything the entire time. The food was AMAZING we had so many people tell us how incredible everything was. If I had to leave any feedback at all, we were guided out of our cocktail hour about 15 minutes too soon (which we really didn't need to be) and we were standing around waiting when we could have been using that time to say hello to more guests. Also, three groomsmen missed their entrance (which may have been more their fault than the Inn to be honest). Other than that, I really can not complain about anything as the night was so amazing. Worth absolutely every penny, we would do it all over again!

My Husband and I had our wedding last night at the Coach House. Everything was absolutely spectacular! The Venue itself was everything I've ever dreamed of. The food was amazing! Everything came out perfect. My Guests were very happy with the cocktail hour & reception food! We rented the Hayloft Cottage during the day which was the only bad part about getting married at the Coach House. There is no Bridal Suite to get ready in or hangout in before guests arrive. We had to spend $750 to be in the Hayloft Cottage during the day. Besides that our Bridal attendant, Tonya was absolutely incredible! My bridal party can't stop talking about how amazing she was! She went above and beyond for all of us. She even calmed me down before I walked down the aisle with a quick upper back/neck massage and some breathing exercises. I was panicking! The Staff was amazing at the Ryland Inn. My event coordinator Michelle was so lovely and easy to contact. She was always quick to respond to emails and made everything throughout this entire process run smoothly. I highly recommend this venue, although it was pricey, it was worth EVERY PENNY. It was the BEST DAY EVER!

My Husband and I had our wedding last night at the Coach House. Everything was absolutely spectacular! The Venue itself was everything I've ever dreamed of. The food was amazing! Everything came out perfect. My Guests were very happy with the cocktail hour & reception food! We rented the Hayloft Cottage during the day which was the only bad part about getting married at the Coach House. There is no Bridal Suite to get ready in or hangout in before guests arrive. It was SO relaxing to stay at the Pelham Cottage with our bridal party---hair and makeup came right to us, we took photos all around the property, and simply walked right over to the Coach House for our ceremony and reception. We had an intimate wedding, with less than 100 guests and the Coach House was the perfect venue where we could appreciate the romantic atmosphere, enjoy delicious food, be cared for by attentive staff---all while actually spending time with our loved ones. I don't even know where to start, The Ryland Inn is OUTSTANDING!!! I had visited a number of venues prior to this one, and I knew right away that the Ryland Inn was the one! It's rustic elegance and beautiful windows and space made it absolutely perfect. My husband and I worked with Danielle throughout our entire wedding planning process, and it was such a helpful, lovely experience. I can't say enough about everyone who works there who helped make our day so special! I had asked to visit the venue a few times before our day to scope out the rooms and how things were set up, and Danielle was very flexible and gave us a great time frame to arrive and check everything out. We also had a change in ceremony space about a month and a half before our wedding, and Danielle was so reassuring and made sure we understood that everything would run smoothly, and she was absolutely right! The bridal attendant and maitre d kept the entire day on track, gave us food along to way, and continued to check on us! I cannot say enough about the food, it is AMAZING! We chose to have stations, and the choices were outstanding, from the salad, to meat carving stations, pastas, smores and jersey boardwalk dessert station with waffles, it was more than we could have ever imagined! The space is just breathtaking whether you are inside on the dance floor, or outside near the fire pits and greenery. I can't wait to go back for dinner and get to experience the beauty of the entire location all over again! Highly recommend!

The Ryland Inn is simply perfect! The Ryland Inn helped create a dream come true wedding, and a night my husband and I will never forget. The grounds, the grand ballroom, and the outside ceremony area are gorgeous. Each area is more picturesque and stunning then the next. From the beginning working with Lara as our event coordinator could not have been easier. She was kind, patient and easy to talk to. She helped answer any and all of our questions, and helped make the day run flawlessly. On the day of the wedding, the service was impeccable starting with Daniel our maître de. Our guests, were amazed by the service, and how friendly and accommodating the staff was. The staff remembered guests drinks, brought more hor devours on request, and were there any time anyone needed anything. The food was one of a kind, truly outstanding. Everything was fresh, and you could taste the difference from other catered events. All the guests raved about the food, and could not get over how delicious it was. As a bride, I was warned by other brides that if something goes wrong at the venue, don’t worry no one will know the difference. However, at the Ryland Inn, nothing went wrong, everything was executed impeccably, with ease, and with professionalism. They know how to properly entertain and know how to allow you to have the perfect night with all your favorite people. The Ryland Inn in our eyes exceeded our expectations and surpassed its reputation. It is a one of a kind venue, a spectacular place and one that we will be visiting every anniversary just so we can go back to experience its magic again. Thank you Ryland Inn.

We had a perfect wedding at The Ryland! We were lucky enough to be able to have our ceremony outside, and our cocktail and reception in the Coach House. My husband and I knew this was the place. The food was hand down the best wedding food we've ever had! While they may be a bit more expensive than other venues, you do not need to worry about a thing-and that was a big reason as to why we chose this place. They handled everything for us, so it made the stress of planning significantly less. Lara was our planner, and she was great-we didn't have to worry about anything being handled. Our bridal attendant, was also amazing and I am kicking myself for blanking on her name! I was really nervous, and she was amazing at being able to calm me down! We stayed in the cottages onsite-which I highly recommend if you can book them. They are beautiful, and it was great to have our bridal party all in one place. The continental breakfast was amazing as well, and Ted, the concierge was incredibly helpful with our boxes and luggage. We had so many compliments about our wedding, and I can definitely say they made it memorable. The only negative thing I have to say isn't really that negative-there was a s'mores bar included in our package, and it never happened. And if it was set up, they never told anyone, so that was a little disappointing. However, it is the middle of August, so I can't complain too much, because I wouldn't want to stand next to a fire on a humid August night!Definitely book this place! You won't regret it!

To say my wedding was perfect is an understatement. My partner and I were planning our wedding from afar (all while transitioning jobs and buying/renovating a home). Lara and Michelle made planning our wedding effortless - always responding to our many questions and being super accommodating when flights were delayed or canceled.The day of my wedding was more than I even expected. I stayed on site the night before the wedding at the Pelham House along with part of my bridal party and family traveling from out of states. The house was spacious and BEAUTIFUL. The groomsmen were able to get ready there in the morning while my bridal party was set up in the Bridal Suite just a few feet away (which was also perfect). Daniel and Jessica were super thoughtful and attentive and handled any problems without worrying me. Breakfast, lunch and mimosas were made available since we had an early morning start.Our wedding was supposed to take place outside the Ballroom but of course weather did not permit. However, curtains were set up without any issue and the Ballroom was still a perfect ceremony setting. Jessica was the sweetest when I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and really helped me take in the moment. After the ceremony and photos, the library was set up with food for my husband and I along with out signature drinks.And then the reception! We walked in to a table of food and drinks. The whole night Daniel, Jessica and the whole waiting staff checked in on us. They worked with our DJ to make sure we were on track for ending the night on time.All this to say - planning a wedding is naturally very stressful. Lara, Jessica, Daniel, Michelle, the Chef (who was SUPER accommodating and innovative), and the Inn crew were more than I could have asked for. They were so kind, thoughtful, and attentive. We spent our wedding night dancing, eating and having a ball. I cannot say thank you enough for making our night so special.

To say my wedding was perfect is an understatement. My partner and I were planning our wedding from afar (all while transitioning jobs and buying/renovating a home). Lara and Michelle made planning our wedding effortless - always responding to our many questions and being super accommodating when flights were delayed or canceled.The day of my wedding was more than I even expected. I stayed on site the night before the wedding at the Pelham House along with part of my bridal party and family traveling from out of states. The house was spacious and BEAUTIFUL. The groomsmen were able to get ready there in the morning while my bridal party was set up in the Bridal Suite just a few feet away (which was also perfect). I had my heart set on a rustic-themed wedding venue, or even a barn. We stumbled upon The Ryland Inn while we were up the road looking at another Landmark venue. The second we stepped foot in The Coach House at The Ryland Inn, I was in awe of the gorgeously rustic, yet elegant setting. The fireplace and the large overhead lights were amazing! Before I could even get the words out of my mouth, my fiancé-at-the-time knew that this would be our wedding venue! We booked the space that day! It was just that perfect! We worked with Lara through the whole wedding-planning process and she was more than helpful and responded to every question that we had along the way. And oh my gosh, two words: The tasting! When we were invited to sample the food choices that were being offered on the “winter menu” and the options for “signature drinks,” nothing could have prepared us for how amazing this night would be! They Ryland Inn mimicked an actual wedding day, meaning that there was a full cocktail hour, where you (and up to four guests) are able to taste the food, drinks, & “station upgrades” that you will be selecting for your event. Then it was sit-down style where you were able to sample a full serving of every single salad and entrée option that was offered! There were 13 entrée choices alone! Needless to say, we left very stuffed and extremely impressed! We choose to have our Rehearsal Dinner on the property as well and everything with that was just as amazing! Ted was of great assistance to my bridal party and I the day of the wedding while we were getting ready and constantly came back to the Bridal Cottage with whatever we needed! They Ryland Inn even provided gluten-free breakfast options for my one bridesmaid with an allergy. I highly recommend reserving the Bridal Cottage so that you can relax and get ready on the premises the day of the wedding. It also gave my husband and I a chance to take a quick twenty-minute break following our ceremony to “take it all in” and to enjoy food from all of our various food stations that were being offered at the cocktail hour, before we met up to greet our guests. The food and drinks on the night of the wedding were top-notch and we received endless compliments from everyone. The farm-to-table food was very fresh and delicious and could accommodate individuals with allergies. My bridal attendant was Tottie and she was beyond attentive on the day of the wedding, carrying the train of my dress around during pictures and getting me anything and everything I needed, including my comfy pair of shoes to wear. I could not say enough nice things about everything and everyone that contributed to make our wedding day (2/16/19) so magical and truly a real-life fairytale!

From the first time we stepped foot on the Ryland Inn's property and went into the Grand Ballroom, we knew this was our venue! We worked with Danielle, who was amazing & so helpful throughout the process. She made sure to go above & beyond to make our wedding day prefect & memorable. The space at the Ryland Inn is just incredible. The grounds are beautiful and the decorations that go along with the seasons/holiday are gorgeous. The ballroom is breathtaking, giving you the feeling of romantic yet rustic. The ballroom also displays large ceilings, an amazing brick fireplace, lovely chandeliers, lots of space, and natural light. The outdoor area with the fire pits, built in seating, & patio bar bring everything together. Our guests enjoyed s'mores by the fire as well as cigars. The pictures that our photographer took, both inside & outside, are amazing. Our bridal attendant & maître d were amazing & made sure that every detail was perfect, we enjoyed the night, were comfortable, ate enough, & everything in between. They definitely helped the night go smoothly & it was very enjoyable. The staff did an awesome job at making sure everyone was happy & they all made sure to congratulate us. We got so many positive comments about the staff, venue, food & drinks throughout the night and the next day... people are still talking about it all! The food & drinks were excellent, thanks to the awesome chefs & bartenders! We loved that we were able to pick a signature drink. The cocktail hour is amazing...there is wide variety of food & stations offered during this time. The sit down dinner is also excellent, we love the farm-to-table cuisine. If you haven't looked at the Ryland Inn, I highly recommend you do so. Do not hesitate to book this venue...you will not be disappointed!

We had the pleasure of working with the following staff at the Ryland Inn:Lara- our event coordinator who helped answer all of our questions leading up to the wedding, coordinated the wedding day arrangements, and worked with all of our vendors to ensure a smooth dayHannah- our bridal attendant who was extremely helpful in making sure my wife had what she needed throughout the day. She also helped direct us where we needed to be after the ceremony and most importantly made sure we were fed!Heather- our maitre d' who helped make sure that our guests knew where to go between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. She provided excellent direction to the staff who were always around to attend to us and our guests.Ted- our housing assistant who catered to our needs while staying in the houses at the Ryland Inn. He helped make sure all of our guests who were staying at the Ryland Inn were satisfied with the provided foods and assisted with our luggage when checking in and out of the residence.In addition to the exceptional coordination staff, the kitchen staff was fantastic. The food is all organic and the flavor is beyond compare. I would highly recommend booking with the Ryland Inn as a wedding venue.

Hannah was my bridal attendant and she went above my expectations (definitely ask for her!!). Heather was our Maitre D and she made sure every detail was perfect - everything ran on time, the food was amazing, and nothing was overlooked. Ted assisted my bridal party in the morning and he was super attentive to our group and Lara was our wedding coordinator (equally as great!). As you can see, the staff at The Ryland really does a great job at making every wedding perfect for the bride and groom - we wish we could go back. However, a few ideas for the venue: - When a bride and groom decide to book The Ryland Inn for their special day, I recommend that upon signing on the dotted line, the wedding planners offer to buy the group a round of drinks or champagne to toast the moment. This very small gesture will enhance the experience from the beginning. - After the wedding is over, ask the bride and groom for feedback, send a thank you note for picking The Ryland Inn, along with a gift certificate to enjoy a dinner (up to a certain amount) in the restaurant. This is a great way to close out the process and ensure that the bride and groom + family come back and recommend the venue because of the personal touches along the way. The pictures I have of the venue inside & out from my photographer are just perfection!!Everyone that we encountered who work for the Ryland was pleasant & accommodating. We had so many great reviews on the food as well! After going to the tasting & meeting the head chef - I knew our food was going to be amazing. We heard nothing but positive comments about the food! WOW what can I say about The Ryland Inn! This was our venue for our wedding (ceremony/reception) and I cannot say enough good things about it, the list is endless. As a wedding guest, and member of two bridal parties that have had weddings at the Ryland Inn, I would caution against paying their outrageous prices. For two weddings I have been to there now, the food has been cold and nothing special. Barely any passed appetizers during cocktail hour. Dinners served cold. Staff is standoffish and snooty prior to the weddings, but strangely nice the day of... While the grand ballroom is beautiful, you are paying the price for that, and not the quality of the food.

We worked with Lara for over a year, as she answered our many questions, coordinated every detail, and re-coordinated as we made changes. She is fantastic! The culinary team is amazing, as the restaurant is renowned for it's farm-to-table cuisine. It was very difficult narrowing down our menu because everything we tasted was delicious. On our wedding day we worked with Heather, our maitre d', who lead the entire staff, kept everyone on schedule, and supported us from behind the scenes with the utmost professionalism. We also worked with Hannah, our bridal attendant, who was incredibly kind and attentive. We worked with Lara leading up to our big day. She was always so responsive to our MANY questions. There wasn't a lot of contact leading up to the few months prior to the big day, which my fiance would have liked, but they did a FANTASTIC job with all of the details. They blew the tasting out of the water--wonderful service, great food, great wine, you get to create cocktails with the bartender for your wedding day drink, and invite 4 other guests with you! We easily chose our salad and meals and were able to tweak them a bit. The wedding day was awesome! We had a few other attendants the rehearsal and wedding day, which was slightly confusing, but I rolled with it and trusted that all the right things were happening--they were! They set up the cocktail room with our stuff beautifully- we let them roll with what would look best in the space and they did a great job! We rented the Groom's Cottage for the day for the BRIDAL party to get ready and it was perfect! There were at least 10 of us in there all day. Plenty of space. We brought decorations and champagne- they provided lunch and non-alcoholic bevs. It rained, so our ceremony was inside (not my first choice). It was BEAUTIFUL with an intimate glow and feeling. They did a great job! They filled the fireplace with lit candles and my flowers. No microphones were needed. It was perfect. The attendant throughout the night kept checking in, making sure we ate, had everything we wanted, including drinks, and she also bustled my dress in the bridal suite. What a whirlwind those two days were- but I wouldn't change a thing.Thank you for wonderful service and a beautiful venue. If you can afford it, DEFINITELY choose The Ryland Inn!

We worked with Lara leading up to our big day. She was always so responsive to our MANY questions. There wasn't a lot of contact leading up to the few months prior to the big day, which my fiance would have liked, but they did a FANTASTIC job with all of the details. They blew the tasting out of the water--wonderful service, great food, great wine, you get to create cocktails with the bartender for your wedding day drink, and invite 4 other guests with you! We easily chose our salad and meals and were able to tweak them a bit. The wedding day was awesome! We had a few other attendants the rehearsal and wedding day, which was slightly confusing, but I rolled with it and trusted that all the right things were happening--they were! They set up the cocktail room with our stuff beautifully- we let them roll with what would look best in the space and they did a great job! We rented the Groom's Cottage for the day for the BRIDAL party to get ready and it was perfect! There were at least 10 of us in there all day. Plenty of space. We are still on cloud nine from our wedding on July 1st in the Grand Ballroom. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! It truly was the wedding of our dreams. Danielle, Shayna, Daniel, and the entire Ryland Inn staff were absolutely wonderful. Shayna, our bridal attendant, was the true rockstar of the day. She took care of everything for us. From making sure we stayed hydrated and cool while taking pictures, to getting us food, drinks and making sure everything was perfect during the entire night. Our photographer and videographer couldn’t believe that she kept bringing them water throughout the day too, they had never seen that much help from a bridal attendant before. She was incredible! We cannot speak more highly of her! She was beyond wonderful! The ENTIRE Ryland Inn staff was incredible as well. We cannot get over that as we walked out after the ceremony, each staff member congratulated us and told me how beautiful I looked. We knew the service would be great, but everyone went above and beyond! The food was out of this world. Each and every guest raved how wonderful the food was from cocktail hour to the s’mores at the end of the night! Danielle made the planning process so easy for us! She was very knowledgeable and made sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds she made sure everything ran so smoothly. Danielle was absolutely amazing to work with! We could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding! You will not be disappointed booking your wedding at The Ryland Inn!

We got SO many compliments about this venue and the staff at the Ryland Inn! We wanted a relaxed, farmhouse vibe for our wedding, not too audacious. That being said, the Coach House was spectacular in the eyes of everyone who attended-- we were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. The commute was simple, parking was aplenty, food was delicious, decorations tasteful, and I CANNOT say enough times how amazing all the attendants were, from the bridal attendant who literally carried my dress around and dabbed Tide To Go on it after the photo shoot, to the kitchen staff, to the servers. We LOVED having our wedding here!

The Coach House is a beautiful, elegant barn (which is hard to find in the NJ/NY area). We worked with Lara throughout our wedding planning process and she was truly amazing! She was very responsive, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. She really helped us coordinate the logistics of our day. Of course, the food is so delicious!! We were planning on having the ceremony outside but moved it inside because of the weather. However, that was actually the best decision because the ceremony was so gorgeous and beautiful in front of the fireplace! I absolutely, highly recommend the Ryland Inn!!

I could go on ALL night about this venue. The Ryland Inn was the most perfect and beautiful location for the wedding of our dreams. Every single person we encountered there was so friendly- we felt like we were in great hands the entire time. The grounds were beautiful, the cottages were AMAZING, the food was delicious, the service was spot on, etc! We also had our rehearsal dinner here inside the coach house and it was such a magical night. All great things to say about this place!

The venue is beautiful, food is amazing and all of my guests raved about the service they received from all of the Ryland Inn Staff. Lara, our event stylist was absolutely amazing and helped capture my vision. She kept my mind at ease every step of the way and executed the day flawlessly. If there was one compliant, I wasnt thrilled with the bridal attendant, she did nothing but put a pile of food on our table and seemed like she wanted to leave as early as possible. Even with that, I wouldn't pick another location and found my day to be picture perfect! I wish I could relive this day, every day!

The visit took less than 20 minutes in total, Danielle did not ask me or my fiance anything about ourselves or our wedding vision, and the prices are certainly not 'moderate.' The cost per head, for peak season, is $185. Discounted rates for non-Saturdays or winter dates bring it down to $165. I was, admittedly, a bit in shock after seeing the prices. She did not seem amenable to any negotiations or wiggle room. Additionally, I never received a thank you email after our visit. For such a costly venue, I would have expected better customer service. I certainly left with a bad taste in my mouth.

Our daughter's wedding was here a week ago. We agree with every 5 star review written here! The Ryland Inn is perfect in every way....the staff is wonderful (Lara, Donna, Daniel, Danielle!) to work with; the food, fabulous!...not your typical overdone affair. This is foodie paradise--quality, not quantity. The venue is the most elegant around. Wish we had more daughters! A total pleasure from start to finish..We couldn't have been happier. And all our guests agreed! Truly special....

We had our wedding in the Coach House ballroom in the beginning of May and the venue was the perfect location for a spring wedding. The Ryland Inn was the only wedding venue location we toured. We knew after visiting for the first time and meeting the staff that we needed to book it. Once you choose the venue, set your date quickly as their weekends fill up quickly! If you're willing to prolong the engagement to get the perfect date they are well work the wait to book with. The food is incredible (our guests are still talking about the risotto at the cocktail hour and its been over a month!), their staff is incredibly professional, and their scenery/décor is so beautiful you don't need decorations. My husband calls them the perfect mix of \"rustic classy.\" Thank you to the incredible team here. We will be back for dinner every anniversary!!
