A Hidden Wedding Gem 💎 with a Beachfront Vibe:My husband and I were recently married at The Sands Atlantic Beach on 10/20/2023 and I never knew truly how magical a venue could be until I had the pleasure of meeting Lori, the amazingly talented wedding planner. Lori gave us a tour of this gorgeous venue and we fell in love with the piano and round-couches in the lobby with beautifully updated lighting and sparkling walls, the stunningly beautiful wedding/event party rooms both downstairs and upstairs and of course, the Disney dream-like beachfront which felt like our home away from home (as my husband and I had our first kiss on the beach and it’s the place where we fell in love for the first time).If I wasn’t limited to 3500 words on this post, I would cap it at around 10,000 words so I could fully explain to you just how much of a difference Lori has made in our lives. Lori is not just a wedding planner, a detail oriented genius and a fashionista but she is a friend, she has a motherly instinct and is protective and so very caring about all of her brides. Lori treated me like her own daughter and she lead me into the direction of my ultimate wedding dream goals which came true on our wedding day. She made sure we took pictures out on the beach for our first look and she really listened to everything we asked for and she honored them all respectfully and with care.Lori let us have a wonderful evening of food-tasting before our wedding day so we could sample the perfect appetizers and main course dishes to ensure our guests also had the perfect day at our wedding by being fed the most delicious food possible. Lori ensured we were treated like royalty and even set up a table for us with silky linens as if we were wedding guests at a high-class wedding. It was the best night ever! Every food sampling choice was extraordinarily delicious and perfection at best! It made it so difficult to narrow down because everything was first class service.My husband and I chose to purchase the full wedding package at The Sands which included the best vendors ever and whom we loved! It made wedding planning easier to know that once we secured these vendors, we were one step closer to completing our wedding planning dreams. We felt a sense of society in making this wonderful choice.Our wedding day was a dream come true because of Lori, her amazing staff, her truly talented vendors she personally recommended and who she closely works with and the venue is so absolutely gorgeous! I felt like I was living in Cinderella’s dream-world. The palm trees on the beach encapsulate you into another world where you are the star of your own wedding. It’s as if you’re in a tropical dreamland.I hope someday Lori gets an honorary award for her exemplary dedication, her stress-free and calming presence she shares with the bride and for her sense of dignified professionalism and care for the married couple. Lori went above and beyond to ensure every wedding table was perfect, every detail was exactly on point, every family member was treated well and every part of our wedding day went smoothly. We had our wedding reception at the Sands on 10 /6/ 2023 And it was the best night ever! Lori was our coordinator and she made sure everything was perfect We dropped off all of our decorations, and she set them up for us, and at the end of the night they were packed up for us, ready to go, which was very convenient.The food at the Sands was delicious, and they had so many different options especially during cocktail hour. One of my guests told me that it was the best prime rib steak they ever had and they are very picky with steak the pasta dinner entrée was amazing too !! My recommendation would be to have a list of the cocktail hour appetizers you want to try and give it to the bridal attendant and enjoy it in your room before you enter the reception :)The service was great. Everybody was super friendly. My bridal attendant was very sweet .the bartender was excellent. everyone said he made yummy strong drinks lol.The room was very pretty, and I love the new flooring .I can't wait to attend future events at the Sands and I hope one day they decide to host some New Year's Eve parties, because I would love to attend that haha !

I have thought long and hard about how to properly express what a phenomenal job Lori did at planning and executing our May 26th 2023rd wedding. Not only that, but she was also a friend and confidant throughout a potentially stressful time. She made it feel like I was her daughter getting married. I can 100% say the stress-free experience was due to Lori and the rest of the Sand's team. I chose the full wedding planning package, and I am thrilled I did. Lori made sure I had small, manageable checklists each week for me/us to execute and made sure we were budget conscious the whole way through. The New York wedding scene is massive, and Lori made choosing my vendors so easy! Between those connections and the overall management skill of an event our size, Lori is truly priceless! On the day of our event, not one thing went array. Every. Single. Thing. was handled and planned to a tee. We were so calm, and I had so much comfort knowing Lori was in charge during our special day. Our dream wedding went off without a hitch! Lori first and foremost, but also the rest of the Sand's team and my Bridal Attendant deserve the most raving review. If you are thinking about getting married here, don’t wait another minute. We had our wedding at The Sands on June 25, 2022 and it was the most magical day. We had a beautiful beach ceremony, followed by the reception in the main ballroom upstairs. The day was perfect. The service my husband and I received as well as our guests was 5-star. The food at the cocktail hour was amazing – and there was SO much of it! Dinner was flawless, and the servers were on point with delivering the food to our guests all at the same time. Our guests are still talking about the food saying how great it was. Our bridal attendant was amazing and made sure that we were where we needed to be and had everything we needed. During the cocktail hour she brought us platters of food and drinks for my husband and I to enjoy after our ceremony. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special on our day. These words cannot describe how amazing our experience working with The Sands was. We worked with Brianna to plan the event and the customer service was outstanding. On our first tour of the venue, Brianna made sure to include every detail and all our questions were answered. Leading up to the day, she made the planning process stress-free by following up and taking care of all the venue-related details for us. The day of, she was there with us to make sure everything was perfect-and it was! Thank you to The Sands for the best day of our lives!!!

I cannot say enough about the incredible service and value The Sands provides. My husband and I were married there on 7/16/22 and had the most perfect wedding. The venue itself is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the staff is amazing. Really - the best part was the staff! The event planner, Lori, is a true professional and lovely human being. Lori and her team ensured the day went off without a hitch, which allowed me and my husband to truly deeply enjoy the wedding without worrying about anything. I had a relatively large wedding (almost 200 ppl) and almost every single person later told me it was the best wedding they had been to, and that the food was excellent.I really can't recommend this place enough!

We had the most perfect wedding day we could have ever imagined at the Sands AB on 4/9/22! Lori was a pleasure to work with. She knows exactly what is needed to have a spectacular day. Lori beyond exceeded my expectations. The entire staff did a phenemenol job of taking care of our guests every minute of the cocktail hour & reception. We opted for a buffet to keep the vibe more party, less formal - Food was amazing! Service is top notch; no one ever had to wait for a drink (175 guests: 2 bars, 4 bartenders). The vedors that Lori recommended were all so great, I really have no complaints! I can’t wait to have another event at the Sands one day. Highly recommend this venue for your next special event. The staff at the Sands are sooo sweet and really go above and beyond to make sure you have the best day ever. Shaq, the bridal attendant, is an angel on Earth! Thank you so much to everyone!

At every step of the way, Lori from The Sands took such good care of us and made our wedding day absolutely PERFECT. I first contacted The Sands in desperate need of a date since we decided last minute to make our Dec 2022 wedding a fall 2021 wedding due to a family member’s illness. A opening was available and within a short 4 months, Lori made the process effortless. She walked through the planning process with me, and checked in every step of the way. Even with the inevitable week-of hiccups, every thing was handled so well and smoothed over to ease my stress. The day of went over perfectly. From beginning to end, everything was taken care of and someone was assisting us with problems. I had a bridal assistant that stayed with me all night to help with anything - absolutely worth it. I gotta say - the staff suggested my new husband and I skip cocktail hour and stay in the bridal suite to re set and have some time to ourselves before the night. Honestly BEST advice ever and I’m so glad we listened. They brought a platter of our cocktail food to us and let us have a moment to just digest and be alone (first and only time during the day) and I’m so happy they set that up for us. The staff was so accommodating and kind, literally everyone who worked was nice and helpful all night. All my guests RAVED about the food for months, and we got so many compliments on the venue overall. Also, go with the after party! It’s like having a bar to yourself instead of bar hopping all over the west end. They had bar food, amazing dj, along with the open bar and it was exactly how we wanted to end the night. If you’re on the fence about it - I say go for it. It’s a treat. Truthfully, I cannot thank Lori enough - she’s truly the best and will ensure your day is amazing. We are so so happy with The Sands and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a beach wedding venue. Plus, the pictures on the sand came out STUNNING.

They literally handled everything for us. It made planning a wedding so effortlessly easy. I had not a worry in the world. All of the people they work with were so amazing and professional. The music was perfect. The wait staff and matrons were great. They camera people were so fun to work with and amazing. And the flowers. OMG the FLOWERS! Having considered many wedding venues, we decided on the Sands, Atlantic Beach early in 2019. After two long years with Covid we finally had our dream wedding in June 2021. In the mix of planning a wedding during a pandemic we couldn’t have been happier with the venue itself and Brianna who helped us every step of the way. She was absolutely amazing to work with extremely attentive answered every question we had. Made sure any worries or concerns we also had along the way were taken care of. The Sands package given the reasonable price was worth every penny, we loved the gorgeous interior, the perfect location and wonderful staff. The staff was outstanding the day of and Brianna worked closely with us in all aspects of the ceremony and reception, and everything went without a hitch. This is truly one of the best wedding reception/ceremony spots in Long Island, 10 out of 10!

Having considered many wedding venues, we decided on the Sands, Atlantic Beach early in 2019. After two long years with Covid we finally had our dream wedding in June 2021. In the mix of planning a wedding during a pandemic we couldn’t have been happier with the venue itself and Brianna who helped us every step of the way. She was absolutely amazing to work with extremely attentive answered every question we had. Made sure any worries or concerns we also had along the way were taken care of. The Sands package given the reasonable price was worth every penny, we loved the gorgeous interior, the perfect location and wonderful staff. The staff was outstanding the day of and Brianna worked closely with us in all aspects of the ceremony and reception, and everything went without a hitch. This is truly one of the best wedding reception/ceremony spots in Long Island, 10 out of 10!

Our wedding at The Sands Atlantic Beach was nothing short of a dream wedding!From our first meeting with our wedding coordinator Lori, we were so excited. She clearly knew what she was doing, was so nice, and very happy to answer our many questions throughout our process with prompt responses.When it came time for the big day, everything was amazing! Everyone always thinks their own wedding is the best, but you would not believe how many people came up to us throughout the night and said it was THE BEST wedding they’d ever been to! The compliments about how unbelievable the cocktail hour was, not only because of the variety (it is a LOT of food) but how delicious it was, have been endless. Lori gave us the opportunity for a tasting prior to our wedding, and we got to meet the amazing chefs, who like everyone else were so friendly and more than accommodating. Although most people said they were so stuffed from cocktail hour, many still raved about the main course and the insane Viennese hour that they put together for us. We had a bridal attendant at our side the whole night and loved the Maitre D. Several guests commented on how awesome it was that the bar was huge so there was never a long line, and also said the bartenders and all service staff were very friendly. To top everything off, the beach was pristine and we had a lovely October day to take some amazing beach pictures! We were thrilled with everything!If you buy “the package” from The Sands (which ended up being a great choice for us,) you will be given choices of 3 photography companies, 2 DJs and 2 florists. I am sure all of the vendors are great, but we have to say we were over the moon with White Light Photography, Feriani Floral Decorators and EJ the DJ. We cannot say enough good things about any of these companies, and how they did everything they could to tailor the night to be specifically exactly what we dreamed of.

I wish it was possible to leave more than 5 stars!Me, and my now husband got married here this past wknd 11/17/18 and it was more than we could have ever imagined. Everyone and everything was so perfect.I will start off with Lori, our event planner which made the whole planning so smooth and easy. I am sometimes a bit indecisive in terms of making choices for food and little details but she was there to give us her input in terms of what she thought would go, what food was best and honestly she was a 100% accurate with all her recommendations. She was extremely accessible, I never had an issue contacting her for questions, all emails or phone calls were answered in a timely fashion and with all the info we needed.I also did not feel like going vendor searching with all the thousand different options there's out there as it can get really overwhelming so we went with The Sands package which has a list of preferred vendors and this made everything so much easier. We were really happy with all the vendors we used.As amazing as our wedding day was there are always little hiccups that pop up the day off that you hadn't accounted for and of course The Sands staff was there for the rescue. The first thing is that we had gotten 6 centerpieces from our florist to be used during the ceremony as part of aisle decoration but we never rented stands for them, so when they got there I was told we couldn't put them in the aisle without stands because they could be knocked down very easily, so at that point I gave up the idea of having flowers down the aisle and just told them to just leave them as center pieces but I was a little sad about it because I knew that flowers would give that special pop to the decoration. Lori told me she was going to figure it out but I wasn't too hopeful. I continue taking pictures, go down to the bridal suite to prep for the ceremony and when I get to walk to the aisle there are my flowers with stands that I have no idea where they came from but looked so beautiful and it was an great surprise.Also, my bridal attendant Shack, was beyond amazing, I suffer from anxiety and I was extremely nervous to walk down the aisle with so many people looking at me, but right before the ceremony she took me to the bridal suite and was talking to me about TV shows and stuff I liked so I could relax. Also as my ring bearer was about to walk down the aisle we realize I had left the pillow downstairs and she literally ran so fast that it was unbelievable and 2 seconds later my ring had the pillow in his hands.Everyone was so incredibly attentive, to me, my husband and our bridal party. I was getting water as I was dancing, my change of shoes were put right under my table for whenever I needed them, the decoration, cake, food was beyond expectation. All of our guest have been raving about the food and desserts nonstop.What can I say, besides marrying each other our next best choice was choosing The Sands as our venue. They made the magic happen, us, our families and our guest were extremely happy to have shared this amazing day here.Thank you!!!

We got married August 18th of this year. There is not a single thing that I would change about our experience with The Sands! Brianna guaranteed us the best night of our lives, promising to take care of everything from start to finish at the venue, and boy did she and the rest of the staff deliver! Not a single person from our almost 250 guest wedding left feeling as though they were unattended to. The staff was remarkable, checking in with each and every table to ensure all of our guests were taken care of, leaving my husband and I to enjoy every second of our night without worry. Guests could not stop complimenting and mentioning how much they appreciated the attentiveness of everyone working The Sands that night. Our guests are still RAVING about the best cocktail hour and dinner they’ve ever experienced at a wedding, and coming from all 250 guests, that’s saying a lot! If you’re looking for someone who you can TRUST with every fine detail, allowing you to soak in the best day of your life entirely carefree, you’d be silly to chose any other venue with any other event planner and staff. Of course there were other aspects of my day that if I could go back I might have changed, but I will always choose The Sands!!!!

This was an amazing venue. Brianna is available at all hours to help you and she really knows what she is doing. The food was fantastic and ALL of the staff is incredible and knowledgable about the entire chain of events, which is a huge stress reliever. My only caveat is that it is a beach-club, so there will be beach go-ers if you go during beach season however, they were all really respectful. They clapped when we walked down the aisle and stayed out of the photos, which was a little bit of a concern for me. People have been contacting me, saying we must have spent way more than we spent to get all of the food that we did, but they stayed so close to our budget that we really felt we got our money's worth out of everything!

We were beyond pleased with the end result of our wedding in October 2017. All of the staff, from management to servers were professional, polite and more than attentive to all of our needs and requests. Our Maître D, K, was amazing and our bridal attendant, Shaq, was the best!! We were so thrilled the weather cooperated and we were able to have our ceremony outside. If you are looking for a beach front ceremony, there is no better place on the south shore than The Sands. Our guests could not stop raving about the food! Cocktail hour was fabulous and the BBQ station was a big hit. Dinner was fantastic and many of our guests commented that the Filet Mignon was better than some steakhouses! Our guests were blown away by the dessert array and the Dunkin' to go put smiles on everyone's faces. All in all we are very happy with our experience and would recommend The Sands as a wedding or celebration venue for any upcoming event.

We had our wedding at the Sands about 3 weeks ago and had one of the best nights of our lives. From the moment we met with Bob over a year ago, he was available any time of the day for questions, our crazy requests and to put our mind at ease. Both families are unique in their own way, and he put up with both mothers (anyone who knows a Jewish mother knows that this means.) Any question they had, he was able to answer right away, but managed to do so in a way that calmed our parents down. I couldn't believe it. Both my wife and I had unique requests that Bob and the Sands went out of their way to accommodate. Whether it was a special order of fruit pops to place in champagne, to the grooms customized drink, to even taking care of our 4 legged best friend (who happened to be our ring bearer) during the party, the Sands did it all!The day of the wedding as I am sure everyone can imagine was hectic in it self. Bob was with us every minute, guiding us to the next location and making sure his staff was on point. Leading up to the bride walking down the aisle, our dog decided to take a walk and the handler didn't know what he should do. Bob ordered \"all hands find the dog\" and delayed the recessional until the dog was found! I recommend the Sands for you wedding and promise that you will not think twice about it!

I will also say that we were determined not to put ourselves in debt while finding a venue to celebrate the beginning of the rest of our lives together. \r\rThe Sands Atlantic Beach and my planner (Brianna) were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I wanted a wedding that was both beachy yet classy and that's exactly what we got. The level of service was also top-notch. Brianna was there for me every step of the way and with a more than demanding work load it was sooo nice to have her by my side throughout it all. \r\rShe became my GO-TO Girl throughout the planning process. There was never a request she didn't find a way to make happen with a smile. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great location, beautiful space and an overly accommodating staff. \r\rThe Sands Atlantic Beach allowed me to focus on what the day is really all about... Being beach lovers, my husband and I really wanted to find a venue where we could have the ceremony on the beach. We also had a large guest list (280 invited) and love to dance so we wanted to find a venue that could accommodate a large number of people and had a big dance floor. The Sands was our perfect package. Not only could they accommodate our above needs, they could also do it without a crazy budget. The Sands gives a TON of food with a TON of options with a TERRIFIC per head price. AND they've been doing it for years so the day of, I didn't have to worry about a thing. One or two of our dinner options were slightly tweaked (the salmon was pecan crusted instead of orreganata and the veal was orreganata instead of piccata) BUT we had 6 entree options and they did not have to be pre ordered so there really was something for everyone and no lack of variety. My biggest \"issue\" regarding the Sands was one that I had from the start- they're decor is a bit outdated- let me just say that in the end this really didn't matter at all- the fantastic beach setting, the quality of the food and the amazing service of the venue helped make our day the most amazing day of our lives.
