We had a beautiful and intimiate microwedding at the Sayre Mansion and it was fabulous. Sarah Trimmer, General Manager, Karen Hunter, Caterer, and the entire staff were SO accomodating, working like mad to make our special day absolutely perfect. The site is a gorgeous place for a romantic wedding, and we loved everything about our night, from the gorgeous ceremony in the parlor, to the cocktail hour in the dining room, and the reception in the downstairs Asa Packer room. Our photographs taken outside came out beautiful as well.I highly recommend this venue!

The Sayre Mansion team was incredible. Mary Ryan, the innkeeper, was helpful at every step. We had an intimate ceremony and dinner and everything went flawlessly. If I could turn back time, I would actually have a large ceremony and reception at Sayre, that's how much I loved this place!

Meet the The Sayre Mansion Team
Carrie Ohlandt has been an owner and manager at the Sayre Mansion for 10 years, during which time she has been responsible for managing the operations of the inn and the sales and execution of meetings and events for up to 150 people. Additional experience in the event planning industry comes from her tenure at The American University’s OCC where she assisted with the logistics, promotion and execution of the year-long program of large scale events that included convocations, concerts, seminars and balls celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the university.
