We were married at the Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club on September 8, 2023. This venue, wedding planners, owners, food and staff are nothing short of SPECTACULAR! We booked this venue 2 years in advance and from the moment we met Brittany and Jaimee, they told us we would be best friends by the time our wedding day came and they weren't wrong. I could text, email or call Brittany and Jaimee whenever I needed anything and they would always respond to me immediately. Starting with the beautiful venue, private beach to get married on, the cocktail hour area outside, the open bar with great bartenders and drinks. They have fire pits, beach games and outdoor seating for your guests as well. The view and the grounds are amazing. They have these gorgeous palm trees brought in every year to give it that destination resort vibe.Our wedding itself from rehearsal to the after party was flawless. Jaimee and Brittany make sure to take care of everything you need and all the things you don't think of.The food, I don't think there are enough adjectives for food to explain. Our guests raved about the food for both cocktail hour and dinner. The raw bar, Thai calamari, coconut shrimp, sushi, pork belly, soup shooters and the list goes on. Not only is it delicious but the way they set it up and their staff that serve and attend to it are incredible.Dinner, if you still have room to eat after cocktail , is just as incredible. The stuffed salmon, pork tenderloin, vegetables etc.This venue speaks for itself but without the amazing staff and the owners Tom and Sherry and their daughters Brittany and Jaimee this could be just another venue. Where do you find a place that the owner is on the buffet slicing your prime rib and their daughter is saucing. When you meet Brittany and Jaimee's mom the next morning at the yes YUMMY breakfast ( which is an option you can host for your guests) and you instantly know why their daughters are so kind and wonderful.While we planned our wedding we visited The Shell several times just because we loved being there so much and the incredible atmosphere. Brittany and Jaimee always took the time to say hello and smile as they were getting prepared for a wedding or even during their busy summer season.So in conclusion, if you are looking for a beautiful venue, with incredible food, a superior staff and amazing family to make your special day perfect, this is your perfect wedding destination.

We had the wedding of our dreams at The Sea Shell Resort in September 2023. Truly a destination wedding on the Jersey Shore, which is exactly what we wanted for our day. Your contract comes with two coordinators, Brittany and Jaimee, who are fantastic and super on top of everything. All the planning leading up to the day couldn’t have been easier with them. From the most amazing and private beach setting to THE FOOD, everything was perfection. I feel like everyone says that people can’t stop talking about the food after a wedding, but I truly have not had people stop raving about it to me and many telling me it’s the best food they’ve ever had (and I agree!). Having everything in one location made it the best experience for our guests and easy for us. They’ve also just remodeled all the guest rooms so they are super modern and fresh. Location also cannot be beat, in the heart of Beach Haven where everything is in walking distance. Best decision ever choosing The Sea Shell!!

I had my wedding at The Shell on 10/21/23, the last wedding of their fall wedding season. From my first wedding planning meeting all the way through the day of the wedding, I have nothing but amazing things to say about choosing The Shell as my venue. Jaimee and Brittany are the wedding planners and they were so helpful, completely reachable, accommodated special requests, and just fantastic at what they do. I had so much confidence in them on the day of the wedding for the whole venue to be set up perfectly and for everything to run smoothly, and they did not disappoint! It felt like they were always 10 steps ahead of me and I was able to completely be present and enjoy myself. I cannot thank them enough for that. Jaimee and Brittany also recommend amazing vendors that they know, love and trust, and I felt like I had the best team of people on site the day of to make the room+beach ceremony STUNNING! Lastly, the food was SO good. I completely trusted Jaimee and Brittany with their menu recommendations, and I do not regret it one bit! All of our guests RAVED about the food and said it was their favorite wedding they’ve been to! If you’re looking for a beach wedding with a warm personal feel and amazing food, and all your guests can stay right on site…I HIGHLY recommend The Sea Shell!

My husband and I could not be happier to have booked our wedding at The Sea Shell Resort! October 13, 2023 was truly the best day of our lives. The Shell is an amazing venue if you are looking for a chill, beachy vibe. Not only is this a beautiful venue, but also an incredible resort. We were thrilled to learn that our guests were able to enjoy themselves and spend the night in their beautiful rooms without worrying about getting home. We had the pleasure of working with Brittany and Jaimie, who were the most amazing wedding coordinators. They are the reason why we were so relaxed throughout the entire process! Meeting with them throughout the year leading up to the wedding allowed us to check in and see if we were on track with planning. On the day of the wedding, we did not have to worry about a single thing. Brittany and Jamie were eight steps ahead of us at all times. From creating checklists, giving advice, and being general support - the girls were incredible. The food at the venue was absolutely delicious. Do not miss out on the lobster mac and cheese!! We also chose to host a brunch the morning after the wedding. Our guests loved the breakfast options. We are looking forward to coming back over the summer to relive our greatest memories :)

We had our wedding at the Shell on 10/01/23 and it was amazing! Brittany & Jaimee make the experience a breeze. When we first met Brittany & Jaimee it was the first venue we saw, we knew we loved it from the location to the hospitality. We had lunch on site to think about it and the first bite of food sealed the deal! We called Brittany over and booked on the spot.From day 1 to the end everything was so smooth since Brittany & Jaimee are your wedding planners. In fact I walked in 2 hours before the wedding and said “are you sure I’m not supposed to be doing anything”? It felt TOO easy!Our wedding completed without a single hiccup and in fact, 3 weeks later we are still getting compliments from the venue to the food.We are confident in saying we could not have chose a better venue to celebrate our big day. We’re truly saddened it’s over because The Shell helped make our big day, the best day ever.We stayed over a few extra nights and it was so relaxing! We highly recommend using the Oceanfront room to get ready in and to enjoy a couple days after.

The Sea Shell was absolutely incredible to work with. First off, their premises were stunning and the perfect location for a beach wedding. They also come with Jamiee and Brittany who help with every step planning your wedding. Leading up to the wedding, we had 3 meetings with the girls. They made everything completely seamless and they seem to truly enjoy what they do. Aside from the girls making the wedding be easy & stress free, the food was insane! Cocktail hour was by far the biggest cocktail hour I've ever seen - and it was all included.. every seafood dish you can imagine. Dinner was also great! They have a variety of options to choose from. Definitely not your typical venue food. The day of the wedding was perfect! We didn't need to lift a finger as everything was planned prior. All of our guests continue to rave about the food and the location. We couldn't have been happier having our wedding here!!

Where do I even begin.. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. I wanted a destination beach wedding, but due to many family members not being able to fly overseas, I decided to look at beach venues more local. I came across the Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club on The Knot and instantly fell in love. It offered that “destination” feel without the plane ride. Within a week,I had my tour, but I knew I was booking the second we pulled in the parking lot. The venue is family owned, and everyone was beyond welcoming. The owners two daughters were my wedding planners and they were amazing! The amount of questions I texted them with all hours of the week were always answered quickly and throughly. Their mom was there on my wedding day and helped me get my sandals on and helped adjust my dress. An absolute sweetheart. My wedding was Oct 8, 2023. My guests are still raving about the venue and the food! Many have said it was the nicest wedding they have ever been to. The menu was UNREAL. The seafood was fresh and plentiful. There was so much to pick from, and the way it was displayed was gorgeous! The open bar was top shelf- with delicious frozen beach drinks. Our oceanfront room was free the night of our wedding, and we came back to a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us as well as tons of leftovers from both cocktail hour and dinner. My planners, Jaimee and Brittany, handled everything. Welcoming my vendors, setting up decorations, packing up all the decor at the end of the night, and making sure all our gifts were safely stored. The venue itself was gorgeous- from the palm trees, to the private beach, the heated pool and fire pits, it was a tropical slice of paradise. The day was perfect - if I could do it all over again, I’d rebook the same venue. They made me feel like family and we will definitely be returning for our anniversaries. If you are wanting a beach wedding, the best decision you’ll make is booking here. Thanks so much Sea Shell- you made my wedding day spectacular and one I’ll never forget.

Where do I begin?! Everything about our wedding day was perfect from beginning to end! I wish I could relive the day over and over again. The Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club was the paradise I dreamed of, but only 2.5 hours away from my hometown in North Jersey. It was the most beautiful beach wedding with an abundant cocktail hour (def recommend the lobster Mac n cheese add on!) and a dinner that all of our guests were raving about! The accommodations for our wedding party were all newly updated and everyone was very pleased with their rooms as well. Our bridal suite and ocean view room exceeded my expectations. The best part were Jaimee and Brittany as the wedding planners. These girls are pros. I didn’t stress a thing, as I’m pretty sure they could run the entire wedding with their eyes closed! Their entire staff is superb too! Their house champagne is exceptional and the open bar was fabulous!! They’re not too into sparkler send offs and I totally got why when it was happening, although I feel I did a good job of rallying my guests back onto the dance floor immediately after the “send off.” The pics and videos of us running through the sparklers were totally worth it and I would do it again a million times. The entire wedding was everything I imagined it to be! Having the reception room until 1am was a huge bonus. We totally shut the place down and it was nice to continue the party with pizza and closest friends and family at the end of the night. I am so sad it’s over. Thank you Jaimee & Brittany and your entire team for a perfect wedding weekend!

We were just married at the Shell this past weekend (9/23/23) and we truly couldn't be happier with our experience. When originally planning our wedding, we were interested in a destination wedding; however, since my dad won't fly and my husband had family traveling from Ireland we decided we'd try and stay more local. When we went to check-out the Shell we instantly knew there was nowhere better and we booked instantly. It was the one and only place we looked at! The entire staff and overall vibe were exactly what we wanted and more. You truly feel like you're on a little island somewhere! The entire family makes you feel so welcomed and like your part of their family. Jaimee and Brittany absolutely KILLED everything. They were with us every step of the way leading up to the wedding to ensure everything was taken care of. There was a tropical storm the day of the wedding so of course that threw a bit of stress into the mix of the day but Jaimee and Brittany did everything they could to still make everything run seamless. Their mom was also an absolute angel and couldn’t have been more sweet to us! Everything was a dream despite of their being a storm. Between the venue and the food, our friends and family could not stop raving about how perfect everything was and so many people said that the food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding! Another amazing bonus was being able to include our dog, Scotch, in the wedding! Truly couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to have our wedding and I would do it a million times over. We will be making an anniversary trip to the Shell every year from now on! If you’re contemplating booking your wedding here, please do yourself a favor and do it!! So sad it's over but so happy to have these memories for life!

We don't even know where to begin. Having grown up both spending our summers on LBI, my husband and I had not really considered the Shell as a venue until we got engaged -- since we had really only ever gone for Thirsty Thursdays. From our first tour with the owner up to our wedding day, we were continuously impressed with the venue and the family who owns it. Jaimee and Brittany are 2 of the best people we met during this entire process and they held our hand through every decision and all of the planning leading up to the wedding. Every time we spoke with them or had a meeting with them, we left feeling relaxed and sooooo excited for our wedding. The food was freaking AMAZING - we loved the opportunity to have a more \"non traditional\" menu and our guests haven't stopped complimenting everything they ate. They even delivered a few boxes of leftovers to our room for us enjoy at the end of our wedding -- best freaking surprise ever!!! The venue is drop-dead gorgeous, right on the beach and has recently been updated so all of the rooms are also gorgeous. Our entire wedding weekend was so seamless, not a single thing went wrong. My husband and I were both extremely relaxed (aside from being emotional) the entire weekend because we knew we were in good hands with the staff at the Shell. We have no regrets and wish we could re-live our wedding at the Shell over and over again! My husband and I are both very familiar with the other venues on the island, and would highly recommend the Shell - we would do it again in a heartbeat. You are treated like family here, not just another couple.

We did not want a stuffy, over the top formal wedding, we just wanted big party vibes; the Shell was the perfect fit for us. The location, the space, and the food were absolutely incredible. My entire life, I wanted my wedding on the beach, and with the Shell, that’s exactly what I got. Brittany and Jamiee were soooooooo helpful throughout the entire planning process. Every email and phone call I made, they answered. They really eased my stress. The day of, they were rockstars. They made sure everything went right. The morning of my wedding, there was traffic coming into LBI, they messaged all my vendors to ensure they would get to the venue on time. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did. When I say I would relive my wedding day over and over, I mean it. Everyone had such a good time and we’re so impressed with the Shell. We 100% made the right choice having our wedding there.

Our wedding day at the Shell was truly the best day of our lives. We got married this April and we honestly could not have had more fun on our big day. Jaimee and Brittany were amazing, guiding us through every step of the way and helping SO much with every little question and concern!!! We did not have a single worry that everything would go smoothly because of how experienced, organized, passionate and thoughtful they are as planners! I also can never thank them both enough for how committed they were to helping us have our dream ceremony on the beach, despite a pretty awful weather forecast!!! Jaimee and Brittany knew how much it meant to us to get married in the sand and advocated so strongly to switch our ceremony at the VERY last minute to be outside, and it was just perfect. I am SO thankful to the entire Sea Shell team for their flexibility and hard work to make that happen at the very last second!Our whole wedding day was incredible thanks to the Shell. Our ceremony was beautiful, cocktail hour was so much fun on the patio, the open bar was awesome, and our reception was truly special. Everyone had the best time! The food was incredible the entire night - all our guests were raving about both cocktail hour and dinner and we still get comments about it being the best wedding food our friends and family have ever had! I as the bride must have rudely run off from at least five conversations during cocktail hour to get more blackened scallops because they might be the best thing I've ever tasted :) The Shell staff were so friendly and helpful and wonderful in every way and I still don't think we've stopped smiling from that day. Getting married at the Shell was the best decision we could have made!

Parker and I cannot say enough good things about the Shell. Brittany and Jaimee are absolute pros. We currently live out of state which we thought would make planning difficult, but the Shell handled everything that came up. We took every recommendation they had, and the day was perfect. They corresponded with all our vendors, made sure we were on track every step of the way, and let us know what to expect. It was huge for us to have a venue with an open bar, and where things like table cloths, tables, and silverware were all included. We also had a band who had never played at the Shell, and Jaimee and Britany made sure they answered every question they had. On our wedding day, no one in our party had to lift a finger in terms of planning, everyone was able to enjoy themselves. All of the staff at the Shell moved so seamlessly, it was wildly impressive. Our guests cannot stop talking about the night, especially the food, it was amazing. If I could give anyone a piece of advice it would be to book here ASAP and take their advice, they have seen countless weddings. I wouldn’t have changed a thing if I could go back. The best part of having our wedding at the Shell is that we were truly able to celebrate and not worry about a thing. It was one of the best nights of our lives, and that is mostly thanks to everyone at the Sea Shell.

I grew up in south jersey and LBI has always held a special place in my heart… I spent many summers and most of my teenage/young adult years there.. so when it came time to plan my wedding I knew there was only one venue for me and that was The Sea Shell! Words cannot do justice how incredibly amazing and beautiful this venue is… from the ambience to the food and to top it off having the most experienced an incredible wedding planners by your side Brittany and Jaimie! My wedding weekend happened to be interrupted by the remnants of hurricane Ian… my vision of a beach wedding was no longer and being worried is an understatement of how my wedding day would turn out. Jaime and Brittany had the most wonderful and beautiful back up plan… Our ceremony was able to be outside under the big tiki hut as if it was our own beach side wedding chapel!! It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined… the entire day was perfect from beginning to end without a single hiccup and that was all because of Brittany and Jaimie… they are there for everything!! Literally nothing went wrong and all my worries about the storm were put to rest. There is so much included with this venue… and the FOOD OMG!!!! The most insane cocktail hour that all of my guests just could not get over! The brunch the next morning… INSANE!!! Top notch bar with top notch drinks! I could go on and on about how incredible The Shell is! The Shell is a one stop place for your overnight stay, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception… and is nestled on the beach… it truly feels like a destination wedding! If you are looking at this amazing venue look no further because you have found your perfect wedding venue!

I got married at the Shell in early October and it was the best wedding venue ever! Jaimee and Brittany were beyond helpful through the planning process. They are so thorough and detailed. They planned for every possible scenario and helped us with our constant questions. They gave us amazing recommendations of a band (Captain Eric and the Shipwrecks), as well as a Florist (Lily in the Valley), and of course late night pizza from Speakeasy. It was great that so many vendors have worked with them previously because it removed so much stress from me and my husband. The whole family and staff at the Shell really know what they’re doing. I felt genuinely cared for by all of them. I can’t imagine any planning process or wedding day going smoother than what we experienced. The amount and quality of food was unreal. We got so many compliments on it. Upon returning to my room they even had leftovers and champagne for us to enjoy, which was so thoughtful!! We also did the farewell breakfast and of course it was the cherry on top! Thank you all at the Shell for the best wedding day I could have imagined!

The Shell is the PERFECT venue because it really has it all; top notch planners, incredible food, topshelf open bar, and a ceremony beach! People STILL talk about how good the food was.Jaimee and Brittany make and incredible team and really work to ensure you have a stressfree planning and wedding experience.It was supposed to rain the day of our wedding and Jaimee and Brittany knew how important it was to us to get married with our toes in the sand, so they waited until the absolute last second to make the call. The Beach Haven bubble pulled through and we were able to have a rain free ceremony on the beach. It truly shows how they are the are going to do whatever they can to make your day extra special.

My husband and I got married at The Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club this past Saturday and it was the most incredible day of our lives. Jaimee and Brittany brought our dreams to life! They made sure we were constantly taken care of and made everything so easy. On top of the amazing atmosphere, we keep getting compliments from our guests that it is the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We even got a chance to meet the owner/chef, who was cutting the prime rib at the buffet! If you want to have a beautiful, stress free day I recommend you book The Shell ASAP.

My wedding day was an affair to remember. My Husband and I had our wedding at the Sea Shell this past weekend. I have to say it was the best experience i could have asked for, from start to finish! They have Wedding planning down to a science!! I loved the fact that its a family owned, and RUN business. Tommy the owner, is the sweetest man, and a phenomenal chef! My guests have been RAVING about how incredible the food was for days!! The appetizers were to die for, and there were so many!! Just A few comments were \"I normally don't eat sushi, but the Yellowfin Tuna just melted in your mouth!\" And \"I must have went back for the scallop ceviche 10 times!\" .. Unfortunately, i was so busy talking with my guests, and taking pictures that i didn't get to try much of the food .. but they thought of that too!! Tommy's wife Sherry, (who is a fabulous woman might I add!), made sure to sneak us into the front of the food line knowing we wouldn't get too many chances to eat! Not to mention when we got to our room that night, out fridge was FULL of all the food we didnt get to try!! Like i said, they think of everything!!! Sherry also does a lot of the decor which was absolutely stunning as well! And that brings me to their daughters Jaimee, and Brittany.. hands down the best wedding planners a girl could ask for! They held my hand through it all from day one! Planning a Wedding is super overwhelming, and you just dont know where to start.. Not only do they understand that, but these girls make it feel seamless! They have crafted this method, and framework of how to plan a wedding that made the whole process feel smooth, and enjoyable! From our very first meeting, I knew I could put my trust in their hands. Their organization skills, and attention to detail was truly impressive! They are the definition of true professionals!! It was such a pleasure to get to know the whole family! I would say they OVER DELIVERED!! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! Thank you again SeaShell Family - Mr. & Mrs Shannon 🥰

The Sea Shell is AMAZING! It is a family owned and operated venue that really strives to make each wedding unique to the couple. Jaimee & Brittany are incredible and with you every step of the way and make sure everything runs smoothly day of. Our guests are still raving about how much food is provided at cocktail hour and how amazing everything tastes. The venue is beautiful and it is so convenient to have everything located in one spot - especially the after party! We had the most amazing wedding at The Shell! It was beautiful, and the food was AMAZING! All of our guests complimented the food and atmosphere. The planning process was fun and we were excited about our big day the entire time. Jaimee and Brittany were absolutely amazing. They were so helpful during the process, and they did everything they could to make everything EXACTLY how we envisioned it. All the vendors they recommended were also great! I cannot rave more about our experience of getting married at The Shell. From start to finish - EVERYTHING was a breeze thanks to Jaimee and Brittany! They work with you and share their expertise on every single detail. I really enjoyed our meetings and ended each one feeling more confident than the last. The beach was groomed for the ceremony, and everything inside and outside was set-up so well and just looked absolutely perfect. The food...insane. Our guests really enjoyed cocktail hour by the pool and the buffet dinner, they haven't stopped telling us how great it all was. Brittany and Jaimee are there to answer questions throughout the planning process by text or email and are also there for the day of the wedding to make sure everything goes smoothly. They are absolute professionals!The Shell was my dream venue as it's where me and my husband spend our summers, I feel so lucky to have had our special day here! We will cherish these memories forever❤️

Could not speak more highly of The Sea Shell as a wedding venue! It is a no brainer - built-in planning with an all-in food/ beverage package made wedding planning seamless and stress free. Jaimee and Brittany are both experts in their field and compassionate allies throughout the planning process - working with them to move our date twice due to COVID was handled better than we could have ever imagined. The entire staff at the Shell goes above and beyond and our guests are still raving about the delicious food, thoughtful cocktails, and overall experience - not to mention the ease of being able to stay on site. I got married at the Sea Shell in early October, and our entire wedding weekend was absolutely perfect! Working with Brittany and Jaimee made the planning process easy from start to finish. They walked us through every detail we needed to consider and were always available to answer questions, provide vendor recommendations, and even help our guests to book rooms. On the day of the wedding, they and their staff kept things running so smoothly. We loved how seamlessly our guests were able to move from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception, and being able to have an afterparty on-site was a great perk as well. The property overall is absolutely beautiful, the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, and all of the food was amazing. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and even the best wedding they'd ever been to! I highly recommend the Sea Shell for the perfect wedding day and weekend!

My daughter got married at the Sea Shell on Sunday, September 12, and I couldn't have asked them to pick a better venue! Hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly, Brittany and Jamie, the event coordinators did such a wonderful job planning the weekend with my daughter and new daughter-in-law. The reception food was fantastic, hotel rooms were clean and comfy and the ceremony on the property's beach area was beautiful. It helped that Mother Nature gave us a perfect weekend, but I don't think that had much to do with the hard work the staff put in to make our event (and 3 others that weekend!) successful! Thanks so much to all at the Sea Shell...you're all fantastic!

Everyone in attendance said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The food was absolutely incredible and the venue was gorgeous . One of the great things about Jaimee and Brittany at the Shell is their attention to the little details that you wouldn't think about. When we got back to our suite for the night there were containers full of all the wonderful food that we had at our reception and desserts. They were even dog friendly! Our pup was welcomed with open arms and we loved having him be a part of our special day. Even with all the covid craziness and changes the Shell made sure to keep us up to date on changes and restrictions as the were implemented or lifted. They worked well with our vendors and really thought of everything. If you want to have a wedding people will brag about going to for years to come, have it at the shell!

We had our wedding at The Shell 6/10/21 and it was perfect! Being a \"covid\" bride, we truly were nervous that the wedding was not actually going to happen. As our dream was to have a destination wedding, this was the most absolute closest feeling! You almost don't believe you're in NJ!!! Jaimee and Brittany included us in every change, whether good or bad, for the 9 months leading up the our day. Once we knew it was actually happening, they made sure to keep us aware of what would be happening on our day and even gave options incase rain, etc may have occurred. We decided to have the Welcome Party which was great! So nice and relaxing to have the night prior with so many choices to pick from for our menu. The special touch they added to menu was printing a menu with our names on top - thought that was so sweet and personable. The day of couldn't have gone any smoother - all went to plan. Jaimee and Brittany made our day come to life along with our other vendors who they communicated with! Cocktail Hour was definitely one of the highlights. Everything from Sushi to Fruit was there and you had a nice variety to choose from. We did decide to add in the Lollipop Lamb Chops which was an additional charge, but well worth it! Our reception was PERFECT - couldn't have been any better. Afterwords we did order sandwiches from CHEGG which were delivered and left out for our guests. Only issue, it turns into a nightclub 10pm, so the food was being grabbed by other patrons so that was sort of a bust! We extended our stay for a week to relax at the place we had our wedding! It was a great way to end the most memorable day. J + B were there from day one and helped all the way until the very end. Very much recommend their resort for a wedding. A+++. Also have to give a shout out to the staff - SO NICE and everyone was very professional. They said hi to us and even made a special accommodation for us when dinner was being shut down one night, they still served us. Lots of fun - very lax, and definitely different from any wedding I went to! Thank you for making our dream day the most talked about wedding !!!

I always dreamed of having my wedding here since I would stay here on vacation as a child, but never thought my dreams would actually come true. After constant cancellations due to COVID with our first venue in our hometown, we were able to move our wedding to this venue and I thank God every day we did. Our wedding planners were phenomenal and helped us with everything every step of the way. Between the food, ambiance, party and location, we are so happy and grateful we chose the Sea Shell as our venue. Our guests were so happy and still talk about the wedding months later.

Brittany and Jamiee and the entire Sea Shell crew made our day perfect! They were booked very far out in advance, were responsive to all our questions and were so kind in helping us deal with coronavirus pandemic. We gave them brief guidelines when it came to decorating, the timeline , and so on and they made everything perfect. They have guidelines for the couple to follow and it made things run all the smoother. With one wedding a day, we had freedom in where to go and felt like royalty. Food was great too! The Sea Shell is well worth it!

The Sea Shell was everything we could have asked for in a venue! Absolutely amazing food, beautiful location, and the sweetest family owned resort. I am originally from Hawaii and I knew I wanted a tropical location, but my fiance's family is from New York and couldn't make the 12 hour trip to the islands. So we went on theknot.com and came across The Sea Shell. We were impressed by the pictures and it looked like what I was looking for: a private beach area for a wedding ceremony and it even had palm trees! We made the trip down to Beach Haven to see the venue in person and fell in love. It was even better than the pictures. We met with Tom, the owner of the venue, and he impressed us even more with the menu. They have food options for everyone's taste pallet -- including fresh fish options, which had me sold! Jaimee and Brittany, the daughters of the venue, were our wedding planners and made the planning process so seamless. We got married over a month ago and our wedding guests still rave that our wedding was the best they have ever been to. They can't get over the food, the open bar, and the overall experience they had at The Sea Shell. Many of the guests are planning trips back to visit! Highly recommend doing the Tiki Bar Welcome Party for your Reception Dinner if it's available. It was a great experience for all of our guests. Thank you Sea Shell for making our special day the best we could have ever imagined!!

Everything about the Shell was AMAZING- the food, the location and most importantly Jaimee, Brittany and the entire Sea Shell staff made our wedding day unforgettable! My husband and I knew we wanted a venue that was unique and not your typical Jersey banquet hall and as soon as we stepped foot inside the Sea Shell, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The Sea Shell is large enough to hold 250 people while still making it feel incredibly intimate. Our beach wedding was romantic, intimate and fell on the perfect October day. Our ceremony occurred right before sunset on the private beach at the Shell and we walked right into our private, outside cocktail hour afterward. Even though the Shell is open to the public, they close off the area where the ceremony and cocktail hour are making it feel like you’re in your own world. Our reception was held inside and was transformed into a dreamy area full of flowers and candles. We danced into the night which was followed by an awesome after-party of dancing and pizza. The shell is open until 2am and allows you to have fun until closing time! Jaimee and Brittany make sure that every detail of your wedding is exactly how you want it. Not only do they have several meetings with you prior to your big day but they provide you with a detailed reference guide that I took with me everywhere for the year leading up to my wedding. Everything I needed help with was in that book from their preferred vendors to sample seating charts to anything and everything that you would need to help you plan your wedding. I honestly cannot thank Jaimee, Brittany and the amazing staff for all of their hard work and truly making our wedding day the best day of our lives. I would recommend the Sea Shell to anyone getting married that wants to be transported to an area of NJ that makes it feel like you’re on a tropical island… it really is the perfect wedding venue.

When looking for a venue for our wedding, The Shell offered everything we were looking for. After speaking to Jaimee and Brittany, we knew that was it! They made every decision so easy and perfect. I was so unbelievably comfortable working with them. They helped in every way they could and made sure every detail was perfection. We received so many compliments on the food and atmosphere. Upon arriving to our reception (we chose to have our ceremony at the lighthouse), every centerpiece, candle, dessert area, etc.. was set up perfectly. All we had to do was show up! The staff and bartenders were all so nice and accommodating to us and our guests. Our room was fresh, clean and the ocean view was awesome. I wish I could give the Shell 10 stars. Where do I even begin? This is hands down one of the best places to get married. I could not have been happier to have my wedding at The Sea Shell. Jaimee and Brittany are absolutely incredible to work with. They are so knowledgeable and beyond helpful with every step of your planning. They turned our visions and dreams into reality. The food is absolutely incredible. Almost one month later and we still receive daily messages telling us how the cocktail hour was the best they have ever had and the dinner was amazing. The staff was on top of everything all night long and the bartenders were outstanding. And this doesn’t even begin to describe the atmosphere. It’s magical. To be honest my husband and I allowed my daughter to pick any venue in NJ she wanted. We were surprised when she picked the Seashell as we thought she was going to pick one of the other two venues you see on the way into the Island. Having disclosed this I am beyond happy that she insisted that the Seashell Beach Club Resort was the venue she chose. Everything and I mean everything was absolutely perfect. From the rooms being clean and gorgeous to the food from the appetizers to the meal being gourmet every detail was handled beautifully. The servers were amazing. The family that owns operates and helps you thru the entire event puts their heart and into the business. They give 110% of themselves. Any problems that arose they took care of prior to it becoming a bigger problem even when it was truly not of their doing or responsibility. Every single individual at the wedding even the hardest critics gave the most glowing reviews and all said they would come back to the Shell again just for a visit with their families. Being able to bring your pets was also an added plus for many as well. Having an after party outside was just perfect everyone loved that just as much as the wedding. They also loved the breakfast the next morning. There is no downside to having your wedding here. We had almost 200 people and everything went so smoothly. The food was over the top. We used the bakery recommendation for the dessert and again that was spot on. The only groans were from people eating too much. Lol. People danced, laughed and had the best time. Tom, Brittany and Jamiee the owner and his two daughters deserve every accolade and more for a job well done. I am sure I will be back for wedding number 2. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you book this vendor!!!

My husband and I have been coming to Beach Haven since we were little. It was where we fell in love, got engaged and LBI was only place we looked for a wedding venue. After taking the tour with the owner, Tom at The Sea Shell, we realized quickly that it was the perfect venue for us. We had a large wedding and it fit us comfortably. It has a laid back, casual beach feel while still remaining upscale and beautiful. The venue is family owned, and you can feel that at all times. Jaimee & Brittany (sister's and daughters of the owners) were helpful and organized and true angels day-of. We brought in our flowers from the Allegro School in northern New Jersey, therefore the florist was not there to set them up. Jaimee & Brittany covered everything, setting up the room exactly as pictured. If having a wedding ON LBI is your dream, The Sea Shell fully embodies LBI & Beach Haven. 10/10 would recommend!

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and are still on cloud 9. Everything from the private beach ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception was perfect. Our guests won't stop raving about the food! Brittany and Jaimee are great to work with and very detail oriented. Tom also went above & beyond to make sure all of our guests (especially our grandparents) were taken care of the night of. We would highly recommend The Sea Shell to anyone looking to get married in LBI!

We knew we wanted to have our wedding at The Sea Shell immediately after our first meeting with Brittany & Jaimee. And it was the best decision that we could have made! You are in the very best of hands with Jaimee & Brittany. They are so organized and always available to answer any questions. They know how to throw an awesome party and thought of things to add into our ceremony/reception that had not even crossed our minds! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect & I don't know what I would have done without them! The staff at The Sea Shell is unbelievable, the food is unreal, and the entire atmosphere is amazing!

Our wedding could not have been more perfect! The staff was amazing and everything was set up with such fine detail! The private beach we got married on was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what we imagined for our beach wedding! Cocktail hour was a hit! Our guests enjoyed theirselves! The food was delicious! Best seafood on the island! Our dinner food was off the charts! Our food was cooked perfectly and was so delicious! Their prime rib, duck key chicken and stuffed salmon was a hit at our wedding and our guests continue to rave about how delicious it was! If you are looking for a place to get married and have your dream wedding the Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club is the place to go! Thank you to the amazing staff who made our night perfect! Since we got engaged we knew we wanted a beach wedding and the Sea Sell Resort and Beach Club went above and beyond our expectations. The wedding coordinators, Brittany and Jaimee, were so easy to work with and really kept us on our timeline for getting things done. They are the best at what they do and it really showed our wedding weekend. Our wedding was June 2, 2018 and I remember at the rehearsal Jaimee insisted on doing it on the beach assuming we would have perfect weather even though there was a 90% chance or rain all day. The morning of our wedding I got a text from Jaimee saying it would be clear skies the rest of the day, and it was. As a bride you always have so much going on in your head and want all your details to be perfect, between our meetings and countless emails Brittany and Jamiee made my vision a reality. On our wedding day they told us where we needed to be and what to do so we didn't have to worry about it and we could enjoy our day. We heard so many complements from our guest on the venue, the open bar (which is truly anything you can imagine) and THE FOOD! So many people said it's the best wedding they've ever been to, but almost everyone said it's the best food they've ever had, especially at a wedding! We had the best day and we have the staff at the Sea Shell to thank for that, but most of all the wedding coordinators Brittany and Jaimee. You guys are amazing and we are forever grateful. Everything was absolutely perfect. The venue comes with two wedding planners who are so talented and fun to work with. They took care of everything for us the day of the wedding, it was so relaxing especially for my mom not having to worry about taking care of any decorations or gifts the night of. We felt like True kings and queens the night of our wedding at the shell. The staff is all so so wonderful and kind. All of their food is absolutely amazing. It’s been over a month since our wedding and all of our guests are still telling us how perfect the venue was, and how great the food and staff are. I would recommend the sea shell to anyone wanting a beach wedding!!

The Shell is the absolute best! Everything was perfect. From the first time we met Brittany at our walk through, it was January, cold, raining, miserable, and they were closed for the season and in the middle of a remodel, and we still fell in love with it instantly. Brittany just had such a passion in her voice about the entire place, and wedding in general, you knew she loved what she did. We then took our parents back and she did the entire walk through again for them to hear everything also. Throughout the planning process, her and Jaimee were SO helpful. From the meetings we all had, to the to-do lists they sent that helped us keep on track with what needed to be done and by when, to suggestions and opinions. They, along with the whole family and staff were just amazing. They truly went above and beyond for us. When the weather didn't cooperate, and we weren't able to have the wedding on the beach as planned, they made sure it would still be able to be outside, under the tiki hut, and it was still so gorgeous out there. We have had nothing but compliments from our friends and family that were there, and even other vendors on how great everything was, especially the food! We would recommend them again to anyone in a heart beat. They were truly so passionate and great! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Thank you all again so much!!

My husband and I got married at the Sea Shell in April 2018 and it was a wonderful experience overall. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in planning out every little detail and bringing our vision of the wedding to life. The venue itself was gorgeous, with great views of the beach right beyond the property. The food was outstanding. Ever since our wedding, we have been hearing from friends and family about how impressed they were with the venue. I would recommend getting married there to anyone in a heartbeat.

Our wedding day was EPIC. With Jaimee and Britt at the helm, I didn’t have to stress about a thing. The bridal party started the day with an incredible beach yoga session, while the boys got in a morning surf. The unrivaled ambiance of ocean glow & palm tree oasis, combined with the friendly faces & culinary expertise of the Sea Shell staff made for a magical celebration that we will never forget! Having our family & friends all staying at the venue, allowed us to truly make the most of our special day. Our wedding was picture perfect thanks to the Seashell, Jaimee, and Brittany! I had my heart set on an LBI wedding and after researching all the venues (I live right up the street from Brant Beach Yacht club) the Seashell was the perfect and obvious choice. I had attended my cousin's Seashell wedding five years ago and always joked I would have one as well because we had such a great time! The planning process went smoothly (even from South Florida where we live!) and Jaimee and Brittany made sure every single detail was thought of and planned. They gave me complete freedom to have the wedding of our dreams which mixed traditional and non traditional parts. Our October 14 wedding had a smooth rehearsal the night before, and then gorgeous weather after a threat of rain. Guests are still raving about the food and the beauty of the beach front ceremony. The ceremony setting is naturally beautiful and Jaimee and Brittany know all the tricks to decorate the reception area beautifully. The cocktail hour is out of this world and the dinner is spectacular (of course, like everyone said, we did not have time to eat so the four to-go boxes full of bacon-wrapped shrimp, prime rib, sushi and all the other foods we had at our ceremony that they placed in our mini fridge came in handy when we finally got to bed at 3am!) and Jaimee made my husband a plate at the reception after all the food was put away! The staff was attentive and the bar moved quickly even with our 200+ guests. Everything was beautiful and ran so smoothly- I simply enjoyed myself while both Jaimee and Brittany made sure we stayed on our timeline and everything ran smoothly! Our guests kept dancing way into the night and everyone keeps telling me it was the best wedding ever- which it truly was! So fun, so beautiful, and so perfectly us. The bathrooms were always clean, the guest rooms are stunning and more original than an average hotel, and we found slices of cake and a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us in our complimentary ocean front room! The brunch we held the next morning was the perfect finishing touch and the food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious. The Shell was simply PERFECT! Jaimee and Brittany have this down pat! Planning a wedding from across the country with them led to zero stress for me and I couldn't have done it without them. The owner/head chef himself was working the carving station, showing the pride that they take in their business. People are STILL talking about the food (especially cocktail hour) and the wedding in general and it's been over a month! The after party being on-site makes everything easy as well and kept the party going. I 100% recommend this venue for anyone that wants to have an amazing time that is stress free!

I booked the Shell over 2 years in advance because I knew how amazing it was going to be. I just had my wedding and it surpassed all expectations. There is no detail overlooked at the Shell. From the wedding organizer down to each votive candle perfect placed, this wedding venue is a well oil machine under the spectacular direction of Jaimee and Brittany (the wedding planners). I was stressed by lots of details involved with wedding planning but having the reception at the Shell was never one of them! Jaimee and Brittany are organized, responsive, and just down right nice people. The were easy to talk to and always on board with whatever direction we wanted to go in. The cocktail hour is by far the best on the island, so if that is important to you (and it should be!) don't look any further. We spent alot of time researching venues but knew that LBI was always the place for us, since we met at Nardis. The Shell matched everything we were looking for--amazing cocktail hour, top shelf bar, pretty decor, delicious food, and a place for all of our family and friends to have a wonderful time. The fact that guests can stay at the Shell as their hotel, reception, and after party is wonderful. I cant comment on the ceremony space because we got married off site at the Spray Beach Chapel, but it looks beautiful from what I have seen! I cant even count all the beautiful touches that made our wedding weekend unique but one that sticks out is our beautiful hotel room stocked with food from our wedding. I was so busy at the wedding I did not get to enjoy the food and drink as much as I would have liked. Luckily, we received a little bit of everything we had in our fridge at the end of the night. In addition to a bottle of champagne, this was the perfect end to the night. Also, I would highly recommend adding the Breakfast Buffet (if it does not come with your package). My guests appreciated the delicious food and felt like they were at another wedding the next day! Overall, if you are considering planning a wedding in LBI then please consider the Shell. I am a planner by nature and had a vision of what I wanted for my wedding and the Sea Shell, the Hughes family, and all the wonderful staff (bartenders, servers) made it perfect!

Having our wedding at the SeaShell Resort and Beach Club was a dream come true!!! Everything about this Resort is magical! Jaimee and Brittany are by far the best wedding planners in the world!!! We couldn't have hoped for a more perfect day and they definitely made it that way!!! If you are thinking about having a beach wedding, the SeaShell is the place to have it! We had our wedding at the Sea Shell in the middle of June and it was absolutely perfect. From our first meeting to the day of, Jaimee and Brittany were on top of it all. Everything was so organized and went off without a hitch. During our wedding, the entire staff was more than accommodating, making sure my husband and I were well taken care of and had everything we needed. As an organized person myself, I appreciated so much the detail the girls put into each wedding. It's hard to believe they do this up to four times a week because they truly make you feel like your wedding is their number one priority. Neither myself, nor anyone from our wedding party had to lift a finger on the day of. All of the table decorations, candles, pictures, guest book, etc. were all perfectly placed and exactly how I imagined it. We can just get married again next year, right? ;) Thank you SO much to the entire staff at The Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club. We are beyond grateful for all of the hard work and dedication you all put into your business.

I wish there were 10 stars to give! From the planning process, the in between and the day of, everything was amazing! Guests are still calling and texting saying what an incredible time they had. They are still raving about the food and the overall experience. My husband and I had never been to LBI before, we found the venue by reading reviews online and decided to go look at the Shell. After meeting Brittany, we knew that we wanted to get married here. It didn't feel like a business transaction, it felt personal, like we were home. I think that speaks volumes to the family values that the Hughes' have instilled into their business. Jamiee and Brittany were truly angels throughout the weekend, from gluing together DYI projects gone wrong, to ensuring a flawless setup. I could go on for pages, but the bottom line is that we had a perfect wedding day thanks to the Sea Shell. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The moment I walked into The Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club a few years ago (before I was even engaged) I knew that I had to have my wedding there and two days after I was engaged I snapped up one of the four dates left in 2017! From the first planning meeting, Jaimee and Brittany were amazing and made everything so incredibly easy. Our florist, officiant, photographer and baker were all recommended by them and were phenomenal. Jaimee and Brittany worked seamlessly with all of our vendors to ensure everything was set for our big day. Once June 18th arrived all that we had to do was enjoy every moment. The day was absolutely perfect. We could not have asked for better weather. The ceremony site was breath taking. Nothing compares to the food at the Sea Shell. We could not have asked for a more amazing venue to host our wedding. We would highly recommend the Sea Shell to anyone who is searching for the perfect place to get married!

My husband and I can't rave enough about our wedding at The Shell. From start to finish it was the most amazing weekend of our lives. Our guests are still absolutely raving almost a month later. From the atmosphere to the food to the ENTIRE staff, we could not have asked for more and wouldn't have changed one thing! Jaimee and Brittany made our wedding planning absolutely effortless. The day of our wedding everything went off without a hitch. We didn't have to worry about a thing all weekend. We were able to enjoy an amazing weekend with our nearest and dearest while they handled everything behind the scenes. The ceremony was gorgeous. And the food!!! Tom does an absolutely incredible job!! We've been going to LBI for ten years now and had always talked about having our wedding at The Shell. Best choice we've ever made!!! We wish we could relive our weekend over and over!! Absolutely incredible experience and absolutely dynamite owners and staff. Wow!, We knew the second we walked through the door that The shell was going to be the venue where we would start our lives together. Forgetting for one second that the view was absolutely breathtaking, the food and service were world class and the rooms were clean, bright and newly renovated. Jaimee and Brittany made us feel not like clients but like family. From the first they made us feel completely at ease and confident. As our big day got closer so did our relationship. They were so thorough and detail oriented all while truly making us feel like family. Now the fun part! our wedding took place on 5/13. On that day we were visited by a Nor easter, a couple of inches of rain and high winds. I mean it was so bad it was raining sideways. Our dream of a beach wedding plans were squashed by Mother nature. Jaimee however was prepared. Her calming demeanor and strong planning skills kicked into overdrive. She rearranged the reception room for our ceremony, which was beautiful and turned out exactly how we planed it would be minus the sand and sun. After the ceremony the Shell, like a well oiled machine transformed the reception room back to it's original beauty. The rest of the night was so amazing. We are so happy we decided to have our wedding at the The Shell! Not only was the entire experience incredible, but we feel like we have a new extended family......

Jaimee and Brittany could not have been better wedding planners! They met with me as needed as well as met my every need possible. I was planning my wedding long distance and whenever I came into town, they made sure to make my requests possible. They helped me create my perfect vision. The venue itself was beautiful and the food is to die for!!! Everything went off perfectly, without a hitch! I am still receiving text messages, emails and voicemails about how lovely everything was and how amazing the food was!! I cannot say enough great things about the Sea Shell and it's staff! They are truly a one stop shop and live to make their customers happy and feel special! They really do bend over backwards for their brides and make sure that every need is met and that every wish is granted!! This venue is truly ran the way they say they do! It is family run down to its bone! Jaimee and Brittany and both their parents are the sweetest people you will ever meet and they make you feel like one of the family!! The Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club in Beach Haven, NJ is the ideal venue for a wedding. This family owned establishment is nothing less than perfect. Jaimee and Brittany were outstanding. They made the entire process of planning every single detail a joy. They had some great ideas for us as well. Tom and Bonnie were also a great pleasure to work with. The entire family went out of their way to ensure my fiance and I were happy and they make sure special accommodations were made for me since I suffer from Celiac Disease. The food was OUTSTANDING from the cocktail hour to the reception to the brunch. I have heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests about how amaizing the food was. I had other guests at the wedding with allergies and they catered to each and every one of them with a smile. I would recommend you contact the Sea Shell before any other venue if you are interested in having the perfect beach wedding (or indoor wedding for that matter). Best wedding venue! The SeaShel Resort and Beach Club is truly a wonderful place to get married in Long Beach Island. From the first meeting with Brittany and Jaimee to the actual day of the wedding, I was extremely happy with the planning process and how my wedding day turned out. Brittany and Jaimee are the 2 amazing planners that guide you through the whole process and take care of EVERYTHING the day of! We had a LOT of rain the morning of the wedding, but Jaimee made sure we were going to be able to do plan B, and get married under the Tiki Hut, which turned out to be beautiful. The food is AMAZING. All of my guests have been talking about is how the food was incredibly delicious and unique. They even packaged up dinner and desert for my husband and I and left it in our fridge, along with a bottle of champagne! I thought that was very thoughtful since it is true that you do not have time to eat! The whole process of planning a wedding at The SeaShell was great and our day turned out to be incredible. I highly recommend The SeaShell!

The Seashell is absolutely amazing! At first we weren't going to have our wedding their because it was a little over our budget but it was everything we wanted, so we made it work. We are so glad we did! Everything was perfect! Jaimee and Brittany are amazing at what they do as well as their parents! They always made us feel so important and like family, which I loved. They are super organized which makes the whole process so smooth. We planned our wedding in 6 months from start to finish and people are still raving about it. Especially the food! The food menu they offer is like no other wedding we have been to before! Amazing!! They pay attention to all the details so you dont have to. People didn't understand how I was so calm but I had the best wedding planners, I didnt need to worry! We highly reccomend the shell! We can't say enough good things about it!!

a wonderful venue! jaimee and brittney were amazing and they take care of everything for you, it's a ceremony venue, cocktail venue, and reception spot- all beautiful and unique and right on the beach! the space is incredible we had 150 people, but would be a great space for more or less. the rooms at the sea shell are also beautiful and our guests were all very happy to stay there! would recommend to any bride/groom looking for a great venue on LBI!

My husband and I got married on September 23rd, 2016 at the Sea Shell. It was without a doubt the best day of our lives. Jamiee and Brittany were beyond amazing in every aspect. From the minute we first met with them to look at the venue, up until the moment we got married they were both so helpful, accessible and kept us relaxed. We had our rehearsal tiki welcome party at the shell the night before and it was the perfect kickoff to our wedding weekend. They wedding day itself exceeded our expectations. The beach setting was picture perfect. Our cocktail hour had the most amazing food. The guests have not stopped talking about not only the quality, but the quantity of food during both cocktail hour and our reception. Jamiee and Brittany had the reception area decorated exactly as I had envisioned. The timeline they have put together for the whole day made everything flow nicely without a single problem. The bartenders were friendly and efficient and the fully stocked bar was a big hit with our guests. I can not say enough amazing things about Jamiee, Brittany, and all the staff. The Sea Shell is a perfect venue and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beach venue!

We got married September 30th 2016. I had always dreamed of a new h wedding when I was a little girl. Going down to long beach island was a weekly hike ever since I was little. So when Greg proposed I took him down to long beach island and the sea shell was the first and only place we looked at. Withen a week we were tied in. But with mother nature crashing the party that ONE day Brittany and jaimie our shell wedding planners did and immaculate job. The wind and rain could have ruined our day but they made sure everything was still perfect. The food was incredible , the atmosphere , the room was beautiful and the night went on just as it should be. I loved everything :)

My husband and I were so happy with our wedding at The Shell. Our guests raved about our cocktail hour and dinner. They thought the staff was so friendly. Tom, Jaimee and Brittany were so easy-going, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with from the moment we contacted them with interest and every step of the way. They gave great suggestions of vendors who they've worked with successfully and made the planning so much easier. We loved spending our wedding weekend at The Shell. They even included a brunch on Sunday morning that was beyond our expectations and a great way to say goodbye to our guests. We would recommend the Shell to anyone without any reservations.

Words can not even begin to describe how amazing our wedding day was at The Shell. Jaimee and Brittany were amazing from the very beginning when we booked the venue at the LBI Wedding Roadshow. We have been told by numerous wedding guests that our cocktail hour was the best one that they have ever been to, and they are still talking about how beautiful everything looked, and how no detail was left overlooked. I truly think there is a lot to be said for a family run business. You will find Jaimee and Brittany and their parents working at the Shell on Sunday evenings bartending, during the week seating guests at the Tiki Bar, and working weekends at weddings making sure that their brides and grooms are extremely well taken care of. They take extreme pride in what they do, and in return you end up with an amazing day that's memories you will cherish for the rest of your life. If I could go back and do it all over I wouldn't change a single thing...I would just make sure I ate more during the cocktail hour...everyone keeps complimenting us on it, I wish I ate more of the food!

Jason and I got married on Saturday, September 17 and it was absolutely magical. It's hard to even describe the day from beginning to end because it was so charged with love and energy. See we have been making memories at The Sea Shell long before The Hughes Family felt our presence. We have been together for 10 years now and had a long engagement. Jay proposed at the top of the lighthouse on the other end of the island and I must say, the moment we got engaged, we knew that we wanted to have our wedding at The Shell. After all, we have been admiring their weddings from afar for nearly a decade.The Shell is family owned and you feel that closeness while you're there. Working with Brittany and Jaimee over the last two years was effortless. These two women know what they were doing. They don't miss a detail and they are so present and lovely. Everytime I changed my mind or added something, they just made it happen. We travel from Brooklyn and every time we came down, they made us feel like we were home. In the process of planning the wedding, we also made tons of local friends. The list of vendors the girls recommended was priceless and we are in touch with those who made our day unique from the photographer, LeAnna Theresa to my makeup artist, Miss Gina Ritacco. Brittany and Jaimee were also exceptional at tailoring the day to accommodate our guests. I cannot express how ideal this was for us. Everyone who came down to LBI came from somewhere, whether it was Brooklyn, Long Island, or Upstate New York. All of our guests loved the space. After checking in, they entered their rooms to find a welcome bag, detailing the events of the weekend with goodies and treats. They had full access to the pool and tikki bar. Our guests were lounging on the beach with a cocktail from Friday to Sunday. They all felt like they had left the states and couldn't believe that this is where we fell in love. The best part was all these details were happening seamlessly. Now I'm Italian American and my family is BIG on the eats so with that being said, The Shell has it all! Everyone raved about the food. I knew this of course, but it was so nice that we got to share our favorite place in all the world (and we have traveled quite a bit), and all its deliciousness with all of our family and friends. The cocktail hour was divine! And dinner service was awesome...I was really honored to have Mr. Hughes there as well. He created the menu and there is so much to choose from! They are also really flexible so if you want to add on or take away, they are there to make it happen. Just ask! And note that it took us a few tastings to figure out exactly what we wanted on the menu because everything is so delicious. There was so much food and the girls stocked our room with left overs for late night eats and champagne! They truly are so thoughtful and easy to be with. They anticipated our needs and it made the day even better.Jason and I have always loved The Shell, but now we love it even more! We spend our summer weekends down at Beach Haven and make a point of staying at The Shell for fourth of July weekend each year. We are so honored that we are part of this world. The Hughes Family and everyone who works there are truly amazing. We look forward to seeing them cause as each year passes the love and appreciation grows. It really is our home away from home. And Seriously, if you have never been there for dinner, go! OUR WEDDING TRULY WAS THE BEST WEDDING EVER!

The Sea Shell is the perfect location if looking for a beach wedding on LBI! I was married there Fall 2016 and could not have imagined anything better! The in house wedding planners Jaimee and Brittany are the best you could ask for. They are very responsive and will help and give any advice you need. From our very first meeting I felt completely at ease. Their organization and attention to detail is amazing and that made the wedding day go so smoothly. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing the food was and how much food was at cocktail hour (trust me....you've never seen anything like this!). Your guests will not go hungry that is for sure! Another great perk of The Shell is you can have the bar open until 1 or 2 AM....there is no getting kicked out early! There is also an option for brunch the following morning which I would definitely recommend. The hotel rooms have all recently been redone and are beautiful so encourage your guests to stay the night! Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and I could not have asked for anything more!!!

The Sea Shell Resort and their staff made the biggest day of my wife and my life such a special stress free event and we couldn't have been happier. We had high expectations and they managed to blow us and all our guests out of the water with how first class the entire event was. The wedding planning with Brittany and Jamiee was great. They offered great advice, excellent vendors, were friendly and flexible and really made the preparation a breeze. I cannot say enough about how helpful Jamiee was for my wife. From meeting us at her house during the winter, to emails and help with everything, it was really a nice bonus that made everything run as smooth as it did. On our wedding day, everything was handled to perfection and the professionalism of the entire staff was a real treat. Check ins were smooth for all of our guests. The rooms were ready and clean. While we did not have the ceremony at the Shell, we knew they had everything under control. Once we arrived, both the inside and outside of the main areas looked amazing. The new renovations as well as the beautiful outside cocktail hour made our guests feel like they were at a Caribbean destination wedding! People who attended continue to state what a magnificent spread they put out as well. The cocktail hour was AMAZING. Literally hundreds of choices, the freshest of seafood, shell fish, and finger foods, quick service and a pleasant atmosphere. The compliments have literally continued months after the wedding. When it came to dinner, Tom Hughes (owner) was at the meat cutting station, personally slicing up delicious meat options to personally serve the guests. Talk about a family run business and staff that was led by example. You can see why they are so successful and they really made us feel like our wedding was very important to them as a family. What else could you ask for?! The dance floor is a great size, the stage held our big band, the tables looked beautiful, and the ability for guests to be both inside and outside once the dancing began really added a nice element. You could find a quite table outside or be in the thick of the action on the dance floor. Either way (and i did both) it was great. Bartenders, cocktail waitresses, and all staff were polite and good at their jobs. They kept the bar open for us until 2 or 3 am which was a great treat for the guests. And then they followed all of this up with an excellent brunch. It was a nice closing to a fantastic weekend. As bride and groom it gave us one last chance to thank everyone and say goodbye. I'm not sure what else I can say other than Tom, Jamiee, Brittany, and the entire staff of the Sea Shell, a sincere THANK YOU from us all. You made this day so wonderful for us. Your experience was evident, the love and pride you take in the establishment is crystal clear to us all, and the passion for throwing a heck of an event was so appreciated. ANYONE thinking of an LBI wedding, this is by far your best bet. I guarantee, you will come away amazed.

I honestly can not say enough good things about The Seashell. Our wedding was literally flawless thanks to the amazing Jaimee and Britanny. They are without a doubt the two best wedding planners around and plan and execute everything PERFECTLY!! They are truly amazing!! The food was incredible, scenery was amazing and it was easily the best night of our lives. If you are considering a NJ beach wedding, you owe it to yourself to check out the Shell. <3

From the very first time we met Jaimee and Brittany we knew we wanted to get married at the Shell. They made the wedding planning a breeze and actually very enjoyable! They kept us laughing and smiling throughout the whole process. Our wedding day finally came and our day was anything but sunny. More like terrential down pour and high winds. Despite the weather, our wedding was absolutely perfect. Getting married under the tiki hut was intimate and romantic. Jaimee and Brittany took care of anything and everything there was to be done during our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and even our after party. I can't thank the SeaShell family and staff enough. I would highly recommend to have your beach wedding here in a heart beat! It's a spectacular environment with exceptional food that is owned by a wonderful family. Thank you so much again. It was truly the best day!

When Christina and I wanted a wedding venue, we knew we wanted it to be on the beach. After meeting with Jaime and Brittany, we knew immediately the Shell is where we wanted to get married, and i'm so glad we did. They both, and Tom worked so hard to make sure every detail we discussed wanting was included in the wedding, from the venue set up, to food and drink, and more. The venue itself was beautiful, and the weather perfect. Every person at our wedding told us point blank it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and we owe much of that to the amazing team at the Sea Shell. Thank you for making our special day perfect, and truly making it the day we dreamed of. We could not be happier!!

I honestly don't know where to start! The Shell is absolutely amazing! My husband and I got married here on 6-3-16 and we couldn't be happier! Tom, Brittany, and Jaimee went above and beyond! I can't imagine getting married without them! They made sure everything was perfect and smooth sailing, leaving my husband and I completely stress free on our wedding day! My guests couldn't stop raving about the food, service, staff, rooms, drinks, and the beauty of our surroundings! The Shell is worth every penny, and I would do it again in a heart beat! They let us keep the bar open until 1 AM, and our guests loved it! We plan on coming back for our 1 year anniversary, and we can't wait to be back! We already miss it! Thank you so incredibly much Tom, Brittany, and Jaimee for making our wedding memorable and amazing!

The sea shell venue, staff and everything included literally are a perfect 10. Brittany and Jaimee treated me like I was their sister and I felt amazingly special with the care they took, both planning the wedding and how they treated me and my family. I don't think the whole experience and the special day could have gone any better!Ps- their food is top notch!!!!

If I could rate the sea shells more than 5 stars I would. They were absolutely amazing in every aspect! Jaime & Brittany were on top of everything they promised, they answered all my emails & phone calls immediately. The front desk was very helpful the day of my wedding with all my bridal needs. The view we had from our ocean front room was the most beautiful view we would of asked for in New Jersey. I can not wait to see the photos that the Photographer got of us all on the balcony! The food was beyond delicious and my guest are still talking about it. From the cocktail hour all the way through to dinner. I originally wanted a destination wedding,but I'm so thankful for finding the sea shells. I had the time of my life and I thank them!

Everything turned out even better than expected. Although pricey, The Sea Shell surpassed expectation for both of us AND our guests! Even with the bad weather, we were still able to get married outside and it was beautiful. Thank you to Jaimee and Brittany for all their hard work.

Short review: The Shell and its wedding planners are absolutely phenomenal! I can't recommend them highly enough. In the process of wedding planning, there are hundreds of decisions to make-- deciding to get married here was the best one.Long review: I cannot say enough positive things about the Shell and their whole team. There were so many aspects that made the Shell such a perfect place. Here are a few...The venue itself: The whole place is newly renovated and gorgeous. Beautiful views, convenient location, beautiful ballroom area. Plus, it's the only oceanfront LBI venue where they take care of everything for you! The ceremony, the cocktail hour, the reception, the after party, the brunch the following day--they handle it all beautifully on site and it makes it wildly easy for guests and bridal party.The wedding planners: If wedding planning were an olympic sport, Jaimee and Brittany would take the gold every single year. They are both incredible, easy to work with, highly organized, and work together like a well-oiled machine. They have a wealth of experience and were able to answer all of my questions along the way. They were absolutely invaluable in the planning process, and from our first meeting to the end of our wedding night, they were always looking out for us. They made everything so much easier, and I felt incredibly confident in their abilities to handle anything that could have come up. The cocktail hour: This was memorable aspect for us and many of our guests. The food selection is absurdly great and lavish. Raw bar, tons of hors d'oeuvres, beautiful presentation. People left full! Multiple friends commented on how even if the party ended there, they would have been thoroughly impressed. Scenery wise, the cocktail hours is held by the pool deck/tiki bar, which is wonderful.The food: Delicious! Tons of options and got rave reviews from guests (including the foodies and restaurant owners). As an added bonus, the staff even puts some of each of the food options and tucks them into the bridal suite fridge-- so we were able to try all the foods we missed out on. Thoughtful, well-planned touches like this are the norm when working with The Shell.Guest experience: My best friend also got married at The Shell a few years prior, and from a guest's point of view, the experience was equally phenomenal. Service was prompt and friendly. Had a wonderful time as the bride and as a guest!Overall, we couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend this venue and its incredible staff to anyone! Five stars, through and through. Thanks for everything!

The Shell!!! We were married at The Sea Shell on 05/31 of this year and it was truly our dream wedding! From the beginning stages of planning to the day after the wedding it could not have been a more enjoyable experience! Jaimee and Brittany are the BEST! The planning booklet they provide you with covers everything and anything you need to know and every decision you need to make, so you have a timeline and plan right from the very beginning. The level of their commitment to detail is unmatched. Whether the decorations were DIY or coordinated with vendors, on the day of our wedding we did not have to make a decision, lift a finger, or help decorate in anyway. I arrived a few hours before our ceremony to have my makeup done and get dressed and the entire place, from ceremony site on the beach to the dining room, was perfectly set up and beyond beautiful! It was even more perfect than I had envisioned! My expectations were blown away by their attention to detail, their attentive and accommodating staff, and the beyond generous amount of food served. All throughout the night our guests commented on how delicious the food tasted, how beautifully the room was decorated, and how much they were enjoying themselves! Everyone had an amazing time and we could not have asked for anything more! A last word… We are originally from the Philadelphia area yet we live in Hawaii now. We wanted a beach wedding but we also wanted all of our friends and family to be able to attend. The Shell was the perfect setting and location! Even though we live so far away and the 6 hour time difference makes it difficult to communicate via phone and Skype, Jaimee and Brittany accommodated our busy schedules and we were able to have our planning meetings via Skype. Planning a wedding in your own town can be hectic enough let alone planning a wedding from 5,000 miles away. Yet through the entire experience I felt as though I was planning a wedding close to home and I will always be thankful to them for that! To Tom, Jaimee, Brittany, and the entire staff at The Sea Shell we send you our Mahalo Nui Loa (Many Thanks)!!!

We had our wedding at the Seashell in Beach Haven, NJ in May 2015. It was the perfect oceanfront venue! We exchanged our vows on the private beach, had our cocktail hour outdoors overlooking the ocean, and our reception inside in felt like we were at a tropical destination - the perfect ambiance. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food and drinks were incredible, and our guests still talk about how great it was and what a great time they had. The wedding planners, Jaimee and Brittany, made sure that everything went to smoothly. We were not stressed planning for our wedding because they took all the stress out of the process! This venue will exceed anyone's expectations, and we want to thank The Seashell for making our special day so wonderful!

We reached out to The Shell in January hoping to have our wedding in the spring. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were cramped for time and the girls at the shell were more than accommodating. Both Brittany and Jaimee had very good communication leading up to the date and were available for any questions I had regarding the small details (wording for invites, center pieces, etc). Guests raved about the amazing cocktail hour spread and of course, the top shelf large bar perfectly situated right next to the dance floor. Having the ceremony, reception, after party and hotel all in one place made for a stress free environment for both the bride and groom and our guests. This is the perfect setting for a carefree wedding day on the best location down the Jersey Shore!
