Owner Marie Hendrix loves to share the venue with her clients, as a space where they can celebrate some of life’s most beautiful moments. She grew up farming on the land and over time, wanted to welcome others to enjoy the peace and serenity of the property. The Shed at Papa's Creek offers a selection of event spaces for you to host the wedding of your dreams. The venue features a beautiful indoor setting that can accommodate up to 175 guests, allowing you to invite all of your nearest and dearest to celebrate your love story. It also has a large porch and outside stone terraces that are suitable for up to 250 people, ideal for those hoping to host a large-scale celebration. Connected to the property, The Harrison House is a 3-bedroom rental house that boasts vintage decor from the 1950s. It is available to book on the night of your wedding, or the night before to allow you to prep from the comfort of the venue. The Shed at Papa's Creek team understands that no two weddings are the same, so they can work closely with you to create a custom package that is tailored to suit your needs. Packages include tables, chairs, full-kitchen access, and use of audio equipment. They go above and beyond to help make your dreams come true while ensuring they are staying aligned with your budget. Meet the The Shed at Papa's Creek Team
Marie Hendrix (Owner) Growing up in a farm family and the oldest of 7 siblings, North Georgia rural life has always been in my blood. Working with kids as a speech therapist for more than 35 years, serving in a life of ministry, and now enjoying life as a cattle farmer with my grand-babies, I love seeing people fulfill their dream story. When I had the chance to build The Shed in memory of my late husband's favorite spot to play with the grandkids, it was a God-inspired opportunity to share a little bit of our story with the beautiful stories of others, and I couldn't resist.
