The Shores Resort & Spa is a romantic, seaside wedding venue in Daytona Beach Shores, FL. Couples can host a wedding in a range of styles here, from traditional fetes to casual beach gatherings. No matter what nuptial theme a pair chooses, the venue’s team aims to exceed the clients’ expectations for their special occasion. As an oceanfront location, The Shores Resort & Spa is surrounded by splendid vistas of the Atlantic. The resort features an elegant hotel with an elevated ambience where guests can unwind and relax. Luxurious amenities, such as the spa, help encourage a rejuvenating stay. Besides the pool, the hotel offers beach access and is conveniently located near Daytona Beach sites. There are both indoor and outdoor spaces at The Shores Resort & Spa that couples can use for hosting their milestone moment. Among these versatile options is the Ocean Terrace, which overlooks the blue waters. It can accommodate up to 300 guests and is suitable for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. Weddings may also be held inside the Grand Ballroom, an easy-to-customize space with a capacity of 765. Three rooftop spaces are available as well, ideal for gatherings of between 40 and 235 guests. In addition to receptions, the rooftop rooms can also be used for pre and post-wedding events, such as the rehearsal dinner. The venue’s expansive packages encompass catering, audiovisual equipment solutions, and more. Bundles also include linens, chairs, and services like the setup of the ceremony site and dance floor. The professional wedding consultant at the hotel can assist with arranging the day's many details, making the planning process simple.

The ceremony took place at the ocean side terrace and dinner, dancing and celebration was in the Atlantic ballroom; Both are beautiful! We chose the buffet option for food which was absolutely delicious (one of our guests who's known for smoking and cooking delicious meats said the short rib was the best he's ever had ... that says a lot!). Donna is great to work with. When she arrived for rehearsal, it was a huge sigh of relief as she guided us through the \"flow\" of how things typically go. She also came on our wedding day and kept us straight. We are grateful to have chosen The Shores Resort and Spa for our wedding. All staff was fantastic.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Shores on October 6, 2023. We worked closely with Donna Crane from before contract through the end of our event. She made us feel more comfortable in our decision to have our event at The Shores with every encounter. Donna was our go to person for questions (and there were many) and to validate that our decisions weren't any we would regret down the line. She always responded in a timely manner and was a delight to work with. We had a Welcome Party the night before our wedding at The Shores, as well. We can't say enough positive things about the experience at The Shores and working with Donna!

We cannot think Donna crane and the entire staff at The Shores Resort and Spa. Our wedding was over the top. From day one when we selected this venue it has been on point, professional, fun, and so easy with all of the vendors supplied. I never imagined such a beautiful venue and wedding day and how it all coordinated and went right together. Each and every one of the staff were absolutely amazing. This Resort is beautiful, dog friendly which is what we love so we can bring goose. Thank you thank you thank you. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings or any other function.

The Shores is a great resort and beautiful views. Their terrace rooms are worth the splurge! We had a big walk in closet which was super helpful for all of our wedding stuff. Donna was absolutely the best! She is so personable, fun and easy to reach. She is genuine and she provided us ease and confidence throughout the entire process. We are very grateful to have worked with her! We can't wait to get our pictures and go visit. She wasn't able to work the day of our wedding but her counterpart Rose did a wonderful job, she was on top of everything. We have to also give a shout out to Christy in their catering group and Sally from Chicago our bartender. They gave top notch, friendly, fun service!! We wouldn't change a thing. Perfect day and weekend.

They were great but we were disappointed when we had to move the reception to downstairs due to water damage from the hurricane. Our photographer was good but she had a little but of an attitude when we asked her for certain pictures and got defensive when we didnt pose exactly how she wanted. Other than that it was a good experience. And would recommend to other couples!

Reached out to The Shores Resort in May 2022 about booking our wedding in September of 2022Donna was quick to respond and so nice! She was with me every step of the way with any questions or concerns I had. We even had a separate location for the reception and the hotel was still accommodating. The Shores is a beautiful location if you love the beach and want to get married overlooking the ocean but without getting your feet all sandy. I could have asked for more. Donna was also helpful in giving me references for florist, DJ and officiant to make everything flow seamlessly. Loved every part of our wedding here!

I just want to start by saying, planning a wedding is not easy at all. And for us to plan a destination wedding, at a venue we never visited before, EVERYONE EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATION!!!!. From the valet, bellman, frontdesk, the servers, bartender, chefs, even the guest staying at the hotel. Our hotel suite was perfect!! The food for our Wedding was cooked perfectly!! My family was so amazed by the weekend experience at your hotel. We gathered at the fire pit all day, the day before the wedding, making smores at night. This was an awesome meeting place for both families. And it was AMAZING!! From my past experience of working at The Ritz Carlton as a banquets traininer/ bridal butler, I knew I wanted a certain level of service. And when I tell you Donna is the best I've ever seen!!! My husband and I had the best time of our LIVES!! Our whole family can not stop talking about our wedding and will forever have these memories of us together at your BEAUTIFUL RESORT!! My husband and I plan to visit every year for our anniversary ( alot of family says they want to come back with us). This was MY DREAM WEDDING!!! I've seen so many brides get married over the years, so when it became my turn, you don't know how much it means to me the way you and your staff took care of us and our families the entire weekend!! I will forever be grateful for all you guys have done for my husband and I. God Bless you all!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about having my wedding at The Shores Resort and Spa! Everything was such a pleasant experience from the initial visit to tour and ask questions to the actual day! Donna Crane is an angel! She is so friendly and helpful! I had so many questions and she happily answered them all! She and Lisa helped me set up my room blocks for guests and menu tasting. She stayed in contact with me in the months, weeks, and days before the wedding to make sure everything was in order. I unknowingly booked on the weekend of a huge cheer competition and they helped me switch to a different weekend where it would not be as busy and more rooms were available for my out of town guests. I also had a couple of last minute hiccups and she helped me settle them. The room for the bride and ladies in the wedding party to get ready was great. It is on the same floor as the ballrooms. That was very convenient since I was setting up all of the decorations myself. The only nuisance was that hotel guests just exploring kept coming to the rooftop floor to check it out and four separate groups of people walked into our spaces to look around even after they saw that we were having a wedding up there. Not a big deal but kind of annoying to have strangers in your business.. The food at the reception was delicious. The servers and bartender were especially attentive to me and my husband at the sweetheart table. The entire staff was friendly and attentive from arrival to departure. From the valet and the reception clerk, to the servers and bartender. Even the workers I saw in the halls were very friendly. Our room was amazing with a beautiful ocean view.I had always dreamed of a beach wedding with the ocean in the background, but it had been storming all week. Donna and the staff still made sure that our indoor ceremony was just as nice despite the weather. The pergola and outdoor ceremony and cocktail space is very pretty and roped off so people from the hotel won't accidentally walk into your event. The indoor ceremony/reception space is a spacious ballroom with large windows overlooking either the river or ocean. We had 50 guests and it could have easily accommodated many more people. The dance floor was a good size. The open bar was fabulous! All of my guests commented that the bartender was very friendly and attentive to the guests' requests. Overall, everyone was very happy with this venue and its staff. Special shoutout to Donna and Lisa! I even had some local guests who liked the place so much that they said they were going to visit again by themselves. My husband and I will be here every year on our anniversary since we only live an hour away! Great location and experience!

We had our wedding at the shores resort and spa on June 26, 2021! The rain tried and tried to stop us but finally we got a window and the ceremony was outside! Donna crane literally is the absolute best and if you don’t have the opportunity to work with I her, I would feel sorry for you because she MADE my wedding. The resort decided to do some landscaping at the ceremony space 2 DAYS before my wedding leaving an ugly wall as a back drop for the wedding. When Donna saw this she worked over time not only for me but the 2 other brides that weekend to bring in tropics foliage. She didn’t want anything deterring our special day! She responded very quickly to any email I sent on the 9 month span of planning and always was there with suggestions and recommendations as well as keeping certain family members happy and on the right track! She’s a godsend! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I felt like the hotel (aside from donna) could have done a way better job on delivering a few things that were promised or making things right when the were not able to deliver.

Our catering manager/wedding coordinator was Donna Crane. Donna was professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with; our wedding and dinner went off flawlessly. The food was excellent! The venue was beautiful. The hotel itself had a few operating flaws - no daily cleaning of rooms available, the main restaurant was closed for renovations, and there appeared to be a general lack of staff. That said, these shortcomings did not significantly effect our enjoyment of the weekend.

My now husband and I had the most amazing time at our wedding at The Shores. When we began the wedding planning process, my husband really wanted a beach wedding… And I personally REALLY didn’t want a beach wedding (probably because I grew up near the pacific and know just how crowed and dirty beaches can actually be). We agreed on what I call “beach adjacent” venues for our wedding meaning the beach was there but we didn’t have be actually be on the sand. We toured several different properties and both initially liked different venues. He instantly loved The Shores, but I was drawn more toward a venue on the gulf side of the state. Since we live out of state the ease and convenience of The Shores is what really sold us. Most importantly the shores came with Donna! Donna, the catering and events manager, is simply the most amazing person ever. She is so kind, attentive, funny, professional, and all around amazing. I simply can’t say enough good things about her. She answered all of my calls, emails, and questions with speed and grace. She handled last minute additional events (like a impromptu welcome cocktail hour, and day after family dinner) that our families wanted to host. Her team is a well oiled machine and rolled with all the punches we threw at them. At the wedding, we had the most amazing staff. The bartender learned our drink orders at cocktail hour and always made sure we had what we needed. The dinner was amazing! I was slightly worried it was going to be the typical dry wedding food, but it was the complete opposite. I don’t think I’ve had better mahi-mahi. We held an after wedding breakfast and Christian, the lead server? Manager? (I’m not sure his title) was amazing too! So kind and helpful. They even refrigerated some of our florals from the wedding to use on the tables at the breakfast and the bbq later in the evening. I seriously think the whole hotel knew it was our wedding because staff not involved keep congratulating us and making sure everything was perfect for us our entire stay. The Shores, and Donna were so helpful during the planning process and provided a list of venders they recommended. I found a few people not on their list I preferred and it was not problem! I loved that! I know that Donna is updating her vender list and including some of my amazing venders!

We had our son's Rehearsal Dinner and a Welcome Celebration at The Shores Resort and Spa and they could have not been more enjoyable events from start to finish. We worked with Donna Crane and she made everything stress free! Her experience and expertise were evident in every step of the planning and execution. We really wanted to have the Welcome Celebration on the Terrace but Donna called me the day before to tell me that the wind was expected to be extremely gusty and she suggested that we move the celebration upstairs across from the Rehearsal Dinner for the guests' comfort. You cannot beat the view of this place!! Both ceremony location and the reception location of this venue is breathtaking. But better than the view was the event coordinator, Donna. With hosting a wedding of 165 people, she went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She was there with me throughout the rehearsal and from morning until night the day of the wedding. She was extremely accommodating and made sure my day was stress free. Next event I plan, I would definitely want Donna to coordinate!!

You cannot beat the view of this place!! Both ceremony location and the reception location of this venue is breathtaking. But better than the view was the event coordinator, Donna. With hosting a wedding of 165 people, she went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. What a wonderful place to get married! We are so glad we chose The Shores for our wedding. Since 75% of our guests were from out of town, we wanted a place that was able to host all of our events and provide a variety of experiences. You can't beat the views! And the food was incredible! All of my catering whims were fulfilled - from getting local craft beers for the welcome reception to non-mayo finger sandwiches for the bridal party on day of. One of the most difficult things was choosing the appetizers - they were all so good. Donna and her team are rockstars. She's very responsive, helped us out when we weren't sure which direction to go but was never pushy. The whole weekend was managed perfectly - no drama, no hiccups, just a really great time had by all. Several of our guests said we needed to have a vow renewal next year so they could all come back, they had that much fun!

The Shores was the perfect spot for our wedding. Carley Was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for my now husband and I. We had a more intimate wedding and she worked with us to keep our costs down, suggested amazing vendors for our cake and flowers and stayed during our entire ceremony to make sure everything was okay. There just aren’t enough words to say how perfect the day went. Couple all that with the most beautiful hotel and amazing scenery and I honestly don’t know what more you could ask for.

Where do I start?! We chose the River Room for our Celebration Reception at The Shores Resort and Spa. This room has the best view by far of any other venue we've seen. Every single employee from the Valet staff to the wait staff to the receptionist were extremely professional, courteous and accommodating. Every single request was taken care of. Carley Rodriguez is AWESOME to work with! She takes your vision and makes it a reality, paying attention to all of the details you wouldn't even think about and taking great personal pride in what she does. We picked our menu for our guests of 120 for the evening after an afternoon of tasting everything. All of it was fantastic and we still are getting compliments about how good everything was! Our guests had a fabulous evening and it would not have happened as such without Carley Rodriguez and her team at The Shores Resort & Spa!!! If and or when we ever decide to have another party we wouldn't even consider a different venue. Thank you to The Shores Resort & Spa for a magical evening!!!

We had a fabulous wedding at The Shores. The actual event went very smoothly and the staff were very attentive and professional. We could not have asked for better. The food was outstanding! The bar was FULL :) Our only reservations were that we were not able to have a balcony room and were placed on the side of the building without a balcony, and was unable to check in before 1pm. The top of our cake and \"goodies\" were delivered so someone elses room, and the tiki bar that was suppose to stay open late closed earlier than anticipated. Overall, we and our guests had a great time and the wedding venue was beautiful. Our only suggestions would be to maybe have some finger foods or something along with some water available for the bride and grooms room because we were so busy we really didn't get to eat anything. The coupons for breakfast was amazing though! Thank you again for a great wedding. We would strongly recommend this venue to others.

Location and event was beautiful-- beyond our wildest dreams! Getting to that point, though, was a bit frustrating. The Sales Manager did not communicate effectively. If I hadn't reached out to her, I wondered if we would have spoken at all. Had to communicate repetitively simple details of our wedding-- as if she didn't remember previous conversations. Service at the resort itself was also not best in class to say the least. Resort staff didn't seem to be happy-- bartender speaking about how he didn't care if the next person relieved him or not, he was leaving. Asked a waiter literally 4 times for a glass of water during breakfast and never got it. Each time I asked, he didn't show remorse at all. Some of our guests reserved a double bed room and the resort only had a King and did not offer compensation for the inconvenience. My rooming list did not match actual reservations. For example, my list showed that we were reserved only Friday-Monday but when we checked in Friday, we had been automatically checked in Thursday. They fixed it without an issue, but was disconcerting they didn't have consistent information. Overall, organization and customer service is not a strong suit of the resort, but it will come together at the end beautifully!

So, My family and I have been vacationing at The Shores Resort and Spa for 15+ years at this point... we basically know the place like the back of our hand. The staff is always beyond courteous and attentive starting from the time you pull up to the valet... This past year and a half we had been trying to plan the wedding to be held in the Florida Keys, little did we know what Mother Nature had in store. The wedding date was 9/19/17. Hello Hurricane Irma. The resort in the Florida Keys was not getting back to us and didn’t seem to be willing to put in the time and effort we desired, being from Ohio, and not able to be onsite with the planning and vision for the wedding. So we decided to give The Shores Resort and Spa a call where we know what to expect and it couldn’t have worked out any better...For starters Carley Rodriguez and her team are simply amazing. They take the stress away! Carley was extremely hands on through out the process and any question or concern was addressed timely and effectively. She truly knows what she is doing. The wedding went off without a hitch. It was absolutely beautiful!!! Our toes in the sand ceremony with Donna Crane was perfection. Donna had a driftwood arch made just for us, now to be used for future weddings I’m sure as it is beautiful!!! The cocktail hour was held on the ocean terrace with great views and the sound of the ocean in the back drop. Our reception was held upstairs in the Atlantic Room with incredible day and night views of the beach and the Daytona shores strip! We placed the dance floor in the south east corner of the room as to have great visuals from the dance floor as that’s where most of our guests spent their night!! We had the most perfect wedding and our friends and family raved about not only how great everything was, but also how much they also enjoyed the resort and the wonderful amenities. I recommend anyone looking for a beach wedding venue to visit the Shores Resort & Spa. It is also now one of our favorite vacation spots now!

The Shores Resort & Spa was the perfect venue for our wedding. Carley was amazing and took care of everything. I did not live in Florida, but she made all the planning very easy and stress free. We had the most perfect wedding and our friends and family raved about not only how great everything was, but also how much they also enjoyed the resort and the wonderful amenities. I recommend anyone looking for a beach wedding venue to visit the Shores Resort & Spa. It is also now one of our favorite vacation spots now!

I am sorry that this is so long. There probably isn’t enough space for me to rave about this place as much as I want to.We got married here on 17th September of this year - just over 1 week ago and it truly was the best day of my life.When I first contacted the hotel Carley was fast at responding and professional but fun. Planning a wedding from thousands of miles away was difficult but she made it SO much easier. All I ever wanted was a small and intimate wedding and she had all the options for me - we only had 12 total at our wedding, she sent me pictures of a coastal small ballroom. It looked big on the pictures but I trusted her completely and WOW. It was a beautiful room and the perfect size for us when we added tables etc. The view of the ocean was breathtaking and on the day my guests all commented on how beautiful it was.When news hit about hurricane Irma, I was panicking to say the least. Carley put me at ease right away and stayed in touch through it all. When we finally got to the hotel, she met up with us and went through everything to put our minds at ease. Straight away I knew I made the right choice, the hotel is absolutely stunning.On the day of the wedding she was great, I wanted my ceremony actually on the beach which the hotel couldn't help with. Unfortunately I made the wrong decision with that vendor but thank God for Carley as she kept it all together for me.The food was UNBELIEVABLE. Literally 2 of the guys said the Ribeye was the best steak they ever had. The portions were huge and delicious - total opposite of normal wedding food!! We added the deserts which were buffet style - also amazing. My family are still talking about how delicious it all was and they don’t even know the amazing price I paid for it all.Carley set up the room beautifully, they had an open bar in there for us, the staff were exceptional and made it even better for us. Due to the high tide our reception started an hour early - they didn't know this until we all turned up! They just worked round it - it was like it was meant to be. The bar closed at 10.30PM as per my agreement but they let us party on in that room until we were ready to leave.Overall – I wish I could give this place a 6 out of 5. I would recommend The Shores and Carley without any hesitation.

We had our 25th wedding anniversary reception at the The Shores. We had a lunchtime reception to take advantage of the amazing views of the ocean from The Atlantic ballroom on the top floor. The venue was amazing but what really makes this the ideal place for your wedding/reception is Carley Rodriguez and her staff. Carley's enthusiasm, partnership, responsiveness, and attention to detail was key to make our special day amazing. When she noticed a miscommunication with the florist, she called the florist herself and requested the mistake be corrected without even bothering me. It was just taken care of! I truly felt she was as invested in our special day as we were and her staff made sure our guests were well cared for during our event. I'd highly recommend The Shores Resort and Spa.

If you are looking for a place you can have an all-in-one wedding in Daytona, The Shores is for you! I recently had my wedding here and everything was perfect! This venue is a gorgeous hotel complete with bar, restaurant, spa and fire pits located right on the beach. When getting married there are several options for space; they have both indoor rooms (ballroom, and banquet rooms that overlook both the beach and the river) and outdoor spaces (beach and terrace) to get married. Originally I was scheduled to get married on the outdoor terrace but was moved inside due to weather. I was married on the 10th floor overlooking the ocean and it was gorgeous just the same. We had our reception in the grand ballroom. In addition, I would like to point out that the hotel guarantees a back-up space in case weather doesn't allow an outdoor wedding. The price per person is a little steep, however when you consider what you are getting, you can't beat it. Included in your price is cocktail hour with 4 apps, 4 hours of open bar, table linens, uplighting, dance floor, cake cutting fee, service, a space to get ready and meal (we had a buffet with 2 meats, veggies, mashed potatoes, bread, etc.). In addition, if you have a minimum number of people you get a free night in the hotel on your wedding night. The restaurant caters the reception and is AMAZING!!!! The only complaint I had was that our ceremony and reception space only had a short time to set up. (Wedding was at 4 and my family couldn't set up the ceremony space until 1 and had to set up the reception space in an adjoining room and then they had to move everything very fast after the wedding.) Carley is the coordinator for the wedding and is overall wonderful. I would caution a bride that although Carley is super sweet, she is NOT your wedding planner so don't expect her to hammer out details and logistics for you. If you know that then it's all good! All our guests had a fantastic time and it was amazing overall. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Pros: all-in-one pricing, plenty of space, beautiful venue, excellent foodCons: hotel stay has fees included on them that hikes up room rates, couldn't get in to decorate until right before the wedding

Let me first say that Carley Rodriguez did an outstanding job. She explained everything in detail, answered all of our questions and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. The wedding setup exceeded our expectations, and the Tiki bar and hors d'oeuvres were great with lots of compliments from our guests. I had my wedding reception held at the Shores Resort & Spa on 10/3/14. I have to say it is a wonderful place to have it. It's not too big and not too small. It's perfect little resort in Daytona. The reception room was on the 10th floor and it we had amazing views during our reception. I originally was going to have it in Downtown Orlando because I wanted that \"top of the world\" feeling and amazing views. But had to find a reception closer to the church (so guests didn't have to drive far from where they were staying). The Shores gave us that amazing view and feeling. The food was very good and the overall service was on point. Most of my out of town guests stayed at The Shores and I didn't hear one complaint. Everyone had a great time! We worked with Carley Rodriguez and she was so easy to work with. I knew she had other brides to take care of but she always gave me the feeling I was her number one priority. We will definitely be going back for little getaways to The Shores.

After that they were hard to get ahold of and some of the information I had already given them they either had wrong or missing. This is very frustrating as a bride and added to my stress. On top of that the hotel staff was rude to several of my guests and there was confusion with my room when they tried to give me the wrong room. I was also told that dinner was to be held inside and it was moved to outside. There was a lot of confusion about who was on the open wedding tab and a lot of guests were charged for drinks and our orderves never showed up. I know my parents had a talk with the wedding coordinator, but nothing was ever said to me as the bride or to my guests who were treated rudely. In the end the wedding went perfect and everything fell into place. So although everything turned out perfectly in the end the confusing really stressed me out and lessened the experience. Hopefully they will get it together because the place is perfect.

One can get married on the beach without actually having to be on the beach. The staff is excellent and extremely friendly. Our wedding coordinator, Jackie Neill continually went above and beyond. She took care of every detail you can think of. She even held a crying flower girl who refused to walk in for introductions. The food was superb. Our family and friends continue to talk about what a lovely wedding we had at The Shores. We would highly recommend The Shores for you to create your wonderful wedding memories at.

The staff was the most professional and nicest people from the bellmen, valets, front desk, restaurant, and especially the sales staff. Kaitlin Andrews helped to make this one of the best days of our lives. We can't thank them all enough for making this so much more special than I could have ever hoped for.\r\rFrom all the rooms, parking, flowers, cake, and all the special touches that meant so much to the two of us. We really enjoyed our wedding at The Shores. It was actually a destination wedding and The Shores was very accommodating to many thing. Jackie helped with all the service detail and making sure the vendors knew where they were going. Without her I'd truly be lost. \r\rThe venue looks very nice, right on the beach, with a gorgeous view in either ballroom. They have a cute canopy on their terrace that made the ceremony look a lot nicer since you can decorate it and give it more of a personal feel. They also do something called 'Smores at the Shores' which was pretty fun where in the evening you can sit around and make smores by the little fire pits, it really brings people together. \r\rOverall we were very happy with our stay and our wedding at The Shores.\r\rAs for food, we had both our rehearsal dinner and reception there and the food was pretty good at both. I thought the tasting was slightly better than the reception food but then again it's more difficult to cater a plated dinner for that many people at once.

Without her I'd truly be lost. \r\rThe venue looks very nice, right on the beach, with a gorgeous view in either ballroom. They have a cute canopy on their terrace that made the ceremony look a lot nicer since you can decorate it and give it more of a personal feel. They also do something called 'Smores at the Shores' which was pretty fun where in the evening you can sit around and make smores by the little fire pits, it really brings people together. \r\rOverall we were very happy with our stay and our wedding at The Shores.\r\rAs for food, we had both our rehearsal dinner and reception there and the food was pretty good at both. I thought the tasting was slightly better than the reception food but then again it's more difficult to cater a plated dinner for that many people at once.

Our vow renewal ceremony was wonderful. Mr. Wiley Lowe did an amazing job overseeing the God blessed vows. Ms. Jackie Neill put everything together, great job. The Pastry Studio made the best cake ever tasted. The food was really good. Our family was very happy with their rooms. Several indulged in the massage services. They enjoyed this treat. We are grateful and will be back.

We had our wedding there in August - The Shores did everything they could to have our wedding ceremony outside on the Terrace. It rained 5 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start and they made sure that all the chairs were dry and we were able to have it outside. The whole time they even had a backup setup upstairs just in case. Jackie was excellent and a great wedding coordinator there. The food and venue was terrific and all my guests raved about what a great time they had. Our wedding was truly an unforgettable experience!

for what we paid and the services we got did not fit. we paid so much for so little. they never informed us that the room we wanted was in an area of the hotel that did not receive cell phone service so the day of the wedding while our phones were ringing like crazy we never got any calls. they over charged us several times and we had to have that fixed each time. things were missing from the fridge in several rooms when we took inventory on the fridge list. we were told to go eat by the pool while our rooms were getting finished and we would be notified. well we never received any service to place an order and when we went to complain we found out our rooms had been ready for 30 minutes and nobody called or came out to tell us. some of my guests kept getting locked out of their rooms and had to keep going to the front desk to have the issue fixed. we would have stayed a couple more days but the quality of service for the price we were paying just wasn't worth it

I live NY while my family still lives in my hometown of Orlando so wedding planning was mainly done through my family. The resort was the perfect setting for my wedding and everyone enjoyed staying the whole weekend! Jackie was the wedding coordinator there and she did a fabulous job! She listened to what my husband and I wanted and really delivered! The quality of food was great, the staff at the wedding was professional yet engaging, and the amenities of the resort were incredible! We paid slightly more than we originally planned, but it was completely worth it for a beachside wedding with class! Thank you for making our day memorable and we can't wait to go back for just a weekend getaway!

We could not have pulled off the beach wedding of our dreams or coordinate all our out of town guests without the event managers assistance at the Shores. The service is excellent, the food is high quality and the rooms have a unique look not your typical chain hotel. We indulged at the SPA for some pre-wedding pampering (de-stressing) which made our wedding day even more of a special experience. We enjoyed our stay so much we can't wait to return for an anniversary stay.

Beautiful place to have a wedding. Catering manager doubled as a day of coordinator - however I did not know this until the big day ( so I was stressed until the morning of). Food was sent out promptly and no hidden fees. The staff was friendly and courteous - until the end of the night when they closed down the outside bar ( it was promised to remain open as long as 10+ guests wanted to keep the night going). Had to cry and beg for them to open it.

From the moment I found the venue on the internet and did my first walk thru, the service was no less than four stars. During the planning process, my coordinator left and I was provided Brittiny. She was exceptional down to the last detail, providing my new husband and I cocktails after the ceremony, during photos, the reception. She was instep with our vision and the plan was executed remarkably. We were under budget and had more in our spend account, she helped up make use of the funds by providing breakfast for all of our guest the morning after the ceremony with the remaining funds. This really put the cherry on top. The staff is beyond helpful, we were given an upgrade during our honeymoon stay, the food is delicious, the ambiance for the price is paradise. We are already planning our one year anniversary at The Shores.

When it came time for our wedding everything ran perfectly, and I know we have the team at The Shores to thank for that!! It is a beautiful location for a wedding and the employees at the hotel truly make sure to cater to your every wish. We had a beautiful suite for the night before our wedding and the night of our wedding. The hotel also sent us a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! I would recommend this venue for any bride looking for a beautiful beach wedding!!

They did comp us one night and invited us back for a stay in the honeymoon suite (that has yet to be seen), I'll update my review when that actually happens. The food was AMAZING and the massage we had there was awesome but VERY expensive, more than our entire stay... \rI would love to go there again, if they did a better job with the rooms and scheduling.

Donna Crane (Manager) Donna has been in the wedding industry for over 20 years. Her passion is working with couples to produce their best day ever and that is done by meetings, phone calls, floor plans, banquet event orders and listening to what the couple truly wants.
