We had the best day here. The bridal suite was perfect for us, and they had excellent communication. The food cater is the owner so you when you book the venue, you have you food too. I’m from the area and already knew how amazing Nelson’s chicken is, but so many of my out of town guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We loved everything about this venue and Nelson’s team!

The ballroom was beautiful, and reasonably priced. You are required to use the caterer that they have a contract with which is slightly pricey so look at that before booking if you want food. The management was responsive relatively quickly and answered my questions in a timely manner.

I had originally wanted an outdoor wedding, but after putting down a deposit and thinking about all the extra costs we opted out. The Spohn was so relaxed and had good recommendations on other venders. We were allowed to do everything we wanted there and they even let us wait until Monday to clean up after our Saturday wedding. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

The venue itself is amazing. If I were to do it all over again, I wouldn't change this aspect. The venue partners with Nelson's Catering - and as always - the food was wonderful. My only issues came in dealing with the lady that managed the venue. She was never quite sure who you were; could not recall conversations/promises whether made verbally or via email; and on the day before my wedding she did not show up, as promised, to let us in to decorate. Other than her role in this, everything else about this venue is great!
