We are located in the heart of Carroll County, right in the Main Street district of Taneytown, Maryland. Modern design and original historic details unite to create a remarkable, one-of-a-kind venue. Neutral and contemporary elements woven through our indoor and outdoor spaces create endless options for your personality and love to shine in this chapter of your story. We've created beautiful gardens, a modern courtyard with the ambiance of cafe lights, preserved every historical detail of the original barn and added a light and airy, four-seasons pavilion to host amazing celebrations, big and small. Short list of details: - Indoor and outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour options - Temperature controlled pavilion - 8, 12 or 16 hour rentals (including setup and breakdown) - 2 Getting ready suites - Variety of tables (long and round), folding chairs for outdoor ceremonies and beautiful crossback chairs for the receptions - Welcoming parties under 50 for the Historic Barn only or up to 230 for the Pavilion (includes access to the whole property) - Hosting only one wedding per day and welcome weekend reservations as well! - Off-site parking with the shuttle service included in the rental cost to create a valet experience (safe, quick and weather-protected) - And more! The Tannery Barn is a beautiful venue. My guests were all amazed when seeing the beauty of this venue. It was also great to have space to have my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place. The staff from the Tannery made it easy to make my vision come true.

We had an absolutely perfect wedding at The Tannery. We were blessed with a beautiful, sunny spring day with flowers and trees in full bloom and The Tannery was the perfect place to celebrate. We had the wedding ceremony at a church in Westminster and then guests drove to The Tannery for the cocktail hour, held in the outdoor patio/gardens, and the reception in the main barn. We had a lot of out of town guests and most of them stayed in Gettysburg, which was a beautiful back country drive (about 20 minutes) between Gettysburg and Taneytown. Guests loved the beautiful gardens of the outdoor space and the barn was such a fantastic place to have a party. The aesthetic of the barn really is as stunning as it looks in photos and everything was clean and well-maintained. Rachel and Casey were friendly and very easy to communicate and work with. The whole team was accommodating and helped make the day so smooth. I was a little worried that the parking and shuttle situation might be a hassle, but it was seamless and caused no problems whatsoever. All of our vendors worked together very well and helped make our day truly amazing. We are so glad we chose to have our wedding celebration at The Tannery and know that any couple that chooses the The Tannery will start their marriage as happy as we did.

With its rich historic and rustic undertones combined with the romantic modern industrial touches, this venue will take you and your guests' breath away. From the moment we walked into the front door, we knew The Tannery Barn was the place for us. There are endless options for photo opportunities weather you're inside or outside, and their landscaping is somehow getting more beautiful over time. Victoria and her team are experienced wedding professionals who know what they're doing!

The Tannery Barn team was incredible! We got married there this past Sunday (6/14/20) and the wedding turned out better than we could've ever imagined. The team worked with us consistently as things changed daily as a result of COVID. We worked closely with Sara she made out experience totally stress free! They put all the details we wanted together and gave us a truly amazing wedding. We cannot thank or recommend them enough!
