Our wedding at TVR was a dream come true. We had two main goals for a venue: (1) we wanted dinner outside and (2) we wanted a dreamy desert backdrop. We visited so many venues, but when we stepped foot on the TVR Barn we knew instantly that it was our spot. The Barn is the perfect wedding venue. We hosted the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner outside on the Barn lawn and then moved the dancing and reception inside the Barn. It was perfect. The saguaro backdrop on the Barn lawn at golden hour is absolutely breathtaking. Dinner under the stars was perfect (they even provided space heaters!). And when we moved the party inside, the staff opened up the Barn doors so it was a seamless, fluid space. I could write a short novel about how great TVR was, but here are the highlights: the Barn has its own kitchen, bar, bathrooms, and parking lot so you have privacy and incredible service from the staff; the ability to open the Barn doors allows you to maximize your use of the space; it is absolutely gorgeous inside and out -- we were showered with compliments from our guests; the food was fantastic; and, although it may feel pricey, you get so much bang for your buck. Last, but most importantly, the staff is incredible. We worked with Hanna and Megan as our venue coordinators and they absolutely killed it. (Shout out to Dillion for absolutely crushing coordination during the reception!) Hanna and Megan were so patient with all our questions and concerns and brilliant with creative solutions. Megan executed our event with professionalism, kindness, support, and creativity. As we worked through the budget, menu, floor plan, and timeline, Meg offered top tier communication, suggestions, and execution. If I could do it all over again, I’d book TVR day 1!

TVR was an incredible venue--do yourself a favor and book them ASAP! Hanna was our coordinator from start to finish and was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely knowledgable, professional, and helped us immeasurably. The venue was clean and beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff are the BEST! I didn't stress at all on the wedding day, knowing they had my back. They had it so much that even when signing our license they gave us some drinks and snacks, our van driver for photos stopped by the cocktail hour and got us some food (shoutout to Dan!), and Hanna again made it wonderful. Everyone told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, largely because of the setting. Couldn't be happier!

Megan was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the planning. Her expertise was appreciated. It was anlways a pleasure to speak annd work things out. She was very patient with us. Everyone raves about the food. It was beyond our expectations. Greg was so kind and went way above food and drinks. Tovia was fantastic with getting us where we needed to be and helping with incidents needing attention. As mother of the bride they all were at my beck and call without any hesitation. I appreciated every single TVR staff who answered the phone, attended the bar, bussed our tables, and passed around the hors d’oeuvres.

We got married at the ranch last year and it was an incredible experience. We had our ceremony and reception at the barn. It was beautiful and we could not be happier we chose The Ranch. Not only is it a beautiful venue with amazing views but the staff made it easy for us. I was finishing up graduate school while planning the wedding and they took so much off my plate which I was extremely grateful for. We worked with Hanna, and I really believe the day ran so smooth because of her and the staff. They were very nice and friendly to work with. We did not want to spend as much money on floral, which made me worry the space would feel too “bare”. But because the building is already beautiful you can use as much, or as little floral it will feel elegant. It is a space that looks great simple or grand. We also had about 85 guests which seems on the smaller side, but the space didn’t feel too big. Most of our guests were from out of town so having onsite lodging was important. It was also nice to stay onsite the night before, that made the weekend less stressful! Another great thing that I did not expect was how good the food and drinks were going to be. I feel like it’s common for wedding venues to slack on the food, but the food was AWESOME. We left our tasting excited to come back and eat. Overall, we loved our experience and if you’re venue shopping you should definitely check it out!

We got married at the ranch last year and it was an incredible experience. We had our ceremony and reception at the barn. It was beautiful and we could not be happier we chose The Ranch. Not only is it a beautiful venue with amazing views but the staff made it easy for us. I was finishing up graduate school while planning the wedding and they took so much off my plate which I was extremely grateful for. We worked with Hanna, and I really believe the day ran so smooth because of her and the staff. They were very nice and friendly to work with. When we first stepped foot into the barn, it took our breath away! I instantly got all giddy and didn't want to continue the venue search. Having our wedding at the barn was a dream come true! There is no other venue like it in Tucson. The ceremony space on the barn lawn overlooks the saguaro national park with the Rincon mountains in the distance. So picturesque! The lawn is also perfect for cocktail hour. Plenty of room to mingle and even have a few games to stay entertained (corn hole, giant Jenga, Sparky the fake bull to practice your lasso skills). Then you move inside the barn for the reception. So many aspects of the room are so impressive. From the chandelier to the mesquite bar top to the 18 foot fireplace that is the perfect focal point for your sweetheart table. Other than the inarguable beauty of the venue, the staff and food is much to admire. Every vendor that we hired was so ecstatic to hear our wedding was being held at the barn. They love the venue and the staff! And we agree! The staff, especially Hanna, our wedding coordinator, were exceptional! They made us feel like royalty! All staff was so kind, attentive, and accommodating. AND THE FOOD!! Usually wedding banquet food is nothing to even mention. But the food at the ranch is exquisite! Countless wedding guests complimented the food!! We could not have had a more magical and perfect wedding! We have the Tanque Verde Ranch to thank! Can't wait to celebrate all our anniversaries to come. I can guarantee many of them will be spent at the ranch! Thank you!!!

We cannot say enough positive things about TVR as a wedding venue. We had originally scheduled with them in May 2020 but then rescheduled for September 2022. We did have some snafus regarding the contract and they asked us to re-sign, - I think we paid a little more and got a little less, but they did keep our food/beverage prices the same and they comp-ed the honeymoon suite, so it worked out well enough in the end. For the money we spent, we are very happy with what we received. We had our ceremony at Cactus View, our reception in Saguaro Room, and these two areas really made the wedding. We didn’t need many flowers and our centerpieces were cobbled together at Home Depot/Michael’s (terra cotta pots with cacti plus hurricane vases filled with sand and cacti/candles), plus we splurged on some uplighting for the room and cake. We re-purposed ceremony florals and the room looked INCREDIBLE. Of course the natural beauty of Cactus View was all that was really needed for the ceremony (plus chuppah and minimal flowers). We planned for a sunset wedding (ceremony starting 45 minutes before sunset), but given the heat if we had to do it again, we'd probably start the ceremony AT sunset instead of before - I'm sure the string lights would've looked fantastic with some uplighting of the arbor.The staff was incredible - Hanna did great at coordinating and the support staff (driving golf carts, room service, etc…) were hands down the nicest and most down-to-earth people I have ever met in the service industry.Food was phenomenal. Prior to the weekend we went out to eat at several Tucson restaurants and so the bar was set pretty high, but TVR nailed it. TVR had estimated a higher alcohol bill, but the final bill came in lower than expected. The Saguaro Room is on the smaller size so it is perfect for making an intimate reception seem more grandiose (we had 75 or so guests). We had initially invited 120 and I imagine the room may have felt VERY full with that number. The dance floor was small, but that kind of worked for us because we’re not a big group of dancers.

We are so glad that we got to work with Nicole and her team for our event! I would definitely recommend the ranch to everyone- they are definitely professionals and have everything planned to keep your event running smoothly. Tanque Verde Ranch is such an incredible location for a wedding! We fell in love with the barn after the first time we toured it and each time we visited over the year of planning we were more and more excited about our decision. Our wedding day was perfect! The ceremony backdrop with the Saguaro National Park is breathtaking, the Barn lawn with string lights and desert landscape is beautiful and the variety of spots across the ranch made incredible photo locations. It was not only the beautiful ranch that made our wedding day so wonderful, but the entire TVR staff. We had the pleasure of working with Hanna over the past year. She was beyond helpful and amazing to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and really good at what she does! Hanna made the planning process so smooth with her attention to detail, the information she provided, checklists, and all advice. From the initial steps in planning, to the rehearsal, and the day of, we were so thankful to have Hanna's support bringing everything together. All of the staff we worked with were extremely nice, helpful and professional. Dan the shuttle driver, Greg during the reception, and the bartenders, we couldn't have asked for a better team. The food was incredible and even 2 weeks after our wedding, we are still getting messages about the delicious appetizers, dinner options, and late night food! If you are looking for an exceptional wedding venue, with plenty of space, indoor/outdoor options, perfect desert views, and an all star team, we HIGHLY recommend Tanque Verde Ranch!!

Tanque Verde Ranch is such an incredible location for a wedding! We fell in love with the barn after the first time we toured it and each time we visited over the year of planning we were more and more excited about our decision. Our wedding day was perfect! The ceremony backdrop with the Saguaro National Park is breathtaking, the Barn lawn with string lights and desert landscape is beautiful and the variety of spots across the ranch made incredible photo locations. It was not only the beautiful ranch that made our wedding day so wonderful, but the entire TVR staff. We had the pleasure of working with Hanna over the past year. She was beyond helpful and amazing to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and really good at what she does! Hanna made the planning process so smooth with her attention to detail, the information she provided, checklists, and all advice. From the initial steps in planning, to the rehearsal, and the day of, we were so thankful to have Hanna's support bringing everything together. The Barn is hands down one of the best, if not the best wedding venue in Tucson, AZ. It has a beautiful modern take on Southwestern style and the best mountain views in the city. The indoor/outdoor hybrid space was so well utilized and all our guests loved being able to go between the two. The food was delicious, from the cocktail hour appetizers and charcuterie boards to dinner. We were also pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes of the main dishes.Not only is the venue itself wonderful, the staff at the Ranch are equally as amazing. On our wedding day, every single employee was so helpful and kind, each going out of their way to help! Special shout out to Nicole Meiers, who was our wedding coordinator. She was always so organized, timely and coordinated everything for us effortlessly. Even on our wedding day she was there helping out, and she even bustled my dress! How much more can you ask for?!They made our day so special and I would recommend this venue to all my friends and family without question. I would give this venue over 5 stars if I could!

The Barn is hands down one of the best, if not the best wedding venue in Tucson, AZ. It has a beautiful modern take on Southwestern style and the best mountain views in the city. The indoor/outdoor hybrid space was so well utilized and all our guests loved being able to go between the two. The food was delicious, from the cocktail hour appetizers and charcuterie boards to dinner. We were also pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes of the main dishes.Not only is the venue itself wonderful, the staff at the Ranch are equally as amazing. On our wedding day, every single employee was so helpful and kind, each going out of their way to help! Special shout out to Nicole Meiers, who was our wedding coordinator. She was always so organized, timely and coordinated everything for us effortlessly. Even on our wedding day she was there helping out, and she even bustled my dress! How much more can you ask for?!They made our day so special and I would recommend this venue to all my friends and family without question. I would give this venue over 5 stars if I could!

I worked with two wedding coordinators (one who opted to start her own business and left the ranch and Hanna Pease) throughout my time with them, I do not have one bad thing to say about either of them. I had my wedding at The Barn, which is an absolutely incredible venue. The views are unbeatable, the venue is new/clean/beautiful, and the staff was outstanding. We worked with Nicole, who was so easy to communicate with, so helpful, and dedicated to her job. The planning process was great and TVR was wonderful to work with. My only complaint/recommendation to TVR is regarding the menu tasting. My family and I were shocked when we arrived at the tasting to only be given a small piece of meat to try. You don't get to see the food plated, taste any of the sides, or try/see your salad choice. We had no clue what everything was going to look like/taste like until the actual wedding, which was unsettling. For the cost of a wedding at TVR, the tasting should be an actual tasting like at other venues. Thankfully, the food ended up being delicious, but not knowing what to expect - especially for a wedding - was strange. Other than that, the experience was great and we highly recommend this venue for weddings and events!

We absolutely loved everything about having our wedding at the barn. First, both the ranch and the barn itself are beautiful. Most of our guests had never been to a desert wedding before and loved it. Second, all of the staff we worked with (especially Nicole who was our primary contact) at the ranch were friendly, thoughtful, and meticulous. We had to postpone our wedding because of covid, and they helped us through the planning process, and made sure our various covid concerns were addressed. The barn opens almost entirely on one side which means it has great airflow, and the venues at the ranch where we had our auxiliary events were all outside (Cottonwood Grove and Rincon Terrace). The staff all wore masks, and we were able to have staff serve food at the events where we had a buffet. Tucson was a destination wedding for us, and we were able to do all of the planning remotely. We didn't meet the staff in person until a few days before our wedding.On the day of the wedding, the ranch staff handled shuttling us around the property numerous times, and made sure we had transportation to and from sunset photos. They made sure we (bride & groom) ate during cocktail hour, helped with the bustle on my dress, and cleaned and decorated the bridal suite for us while we were at the reception. Also, the food at our rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and post-wedding brunch were all delicious. We had multiple comments from guests about this.Another plus of having our wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch was that all the other Tucson vendors we worked with were very familiar with it. Our florist, cake, and makeup vendors all knew exactly how to set up and where to go.We would 100% recommend having your wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch!

My husband and I were blessed enough to be able to use The Barn at Tanque Verde Ranch for our wedding on May 8, 2021. Tanque Verde went above and beyond with everything. To start, the view and facility are already breathtaking, so very minimal decor was actually needed. The food provided by the venue was delicious, we still get praise from our wedding guests. Our day of coordinator was on top of every detail. Nicole was like a ninja the day of, everything went perfectly. Very few things actually went wrong. If I had not heard on the drivers walkie talkie I would never have known that the groomsmen forgot their boutonnieres in the groom's suite. To top that, Nicole was very responsive, and extremely patient with my almost every other day email (for 18 months) saying that I had thought of another 5-10 questions. She also worked diligently to ensure that every one in the wedding party that wanted to stay on site, was able to do so. Every woman imagines her dream wedding, because of Tanque Verde Ranch, the staff, and Nicole, I got to have mine.

We did a lot of research, A LOT! Called, emailed and toured with over a dozen different places. The second my husband and I stepped onto the Tanque Verde Ranch (TVR) property we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Our wedding was postponed twice due to COVID-19 but we were finally able to get married this August at the Barn Venue. Throughout all the reschedules and changes, all the TVR staff were absolutely amazing. We have been together for over 11 years, so we have been able to observe and learn from many of our friends and family that married before us. TVR was able to offer us everything we could possibly want. We had the most stunning venue, most friendly staff, best vendor team, best tasting food and drinks, and best of all - 75% of our guests stayed with us onsite at TVR. It was so fun each day seeing our friends and family at breakfast and walking around the property. We really wanted to provide a fun experience for all our guests that was more than just the 5 hour wedding. All our guests raved to us about how much fun they had hiking, horseback riding, swimming, visiting the saloon and more! I know many of them will be back to visit again. I can't say enough about how amazing the staff at TVR are. So friendly, knowledgeable, kind and professional. Our point person was originally Sarah Detmer who we absolutely love! She was patient and thorough, I always had full faith in her and knew she would not miss a thing. It was very bittersweet when she told us she would be leaving TVR to start her own business. We wish her the best and definitely recommend her to anyone interested in event planning services! Luckily, after Sarah left, Hanna Pease stepped right in and helped take us to the finish line! And oh boy did she do incredible. She did not miss a beat, she was so professional and friendly and was able to manage every little detail with such grace. There were definitely some last minute scares, 2 vendors changed last minute with COVID, several guests backed out, and crazy whether the day of causing TVR staff to have to constantly reset and wipe down tables and chairs. Despite all these hiccups, Hanna made us feel like we had nothing to worry about, she helped us work out everything and made the wedding go off without any issues. Hanna is a rockstar and TVR is so lucky to have her, thank you so much Hanna!!! Also special shout out to Quinn, she helped Hanna and was also so talented and friendly the entire time. Thanks for your patience and expertise in managing all the room blocks. If you are considering TVR for a wedding, corporate retreat, family reunion or anything at all, just do it! I promise you will not be disappointed. There is no place like it. Coming from two AZ natives who are used to seeing beautiful desert landscapes, TVR offers a very unique experience. Key Takeaways: 1 - TVR feels like a remote picturesque location but your 20 minutes from a store in case you forgot anything! 2 - Although the property is historic and full of neat stories, it is also completely updated and the rooms are very modern and comfortable. 3 - You will find no better team, the staff is what makes the experience memorable, you can tell they care about your experience treating you like family. Thanks TVR for making our wedding better than we could have possibly dreamt of!!! We will be back often!!!

We did a lot of research, A LOT! Called, emailed and toured with over a dozen different places. The second my husband and I stepped onto the Tanque Verde Ranch (TVR) property we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Our wedding was postponed twice due to COVID-19 but we were finally able to get married this August at the Barn Venue. Throughout all the reschedules and changes, all the TVR staff were absolutely amazing. We have been together for over 11 years, so we have been able to observe and learn from many of our friends and family that married before us. TVR was able to offer us everything we could possibly want. We had the most stunning venue, most friendly staff, best vendor team, best tasting food and drinks, and best of all - 75% of our guests stayed with us onsite at TVR. It was so fun each day seeing our friends and family at breakfast and walking around the property. We really wanted to provide a fun experience for all our guests that was more than just the 5 hour wedding. All our guests raved to us about how much fun they had hiking, horseback riding, swimming, visiting the saloon and more! I know many of them will be back to visit again. I can't say enough about how amazing the staff at TVR are. So friendly, knowledgeable, kind and professional. Our point person was originally Sarah Detmer who we absolutely love! She was patient and thorough, I always had full faith in her and knew she would not miss a thing. It was very bittersweet when she told us she would be leaving TVR to start her own business. We wish her the best and definitely recommend her to anyone interested in event planning services! Luckily, after Sarah left, Hanna Pease stepped right in and helped take us to the finish line! And oh boy did she do incredible. She did not miss a beat, she was so professional and friendly and was able to manage every little detail with such grace. There were definitely some last minute scares, 2 vendors changed last minute with COVID, several guests backed out, and crazy whether the day of causing TVR staff to have to constantly reset and wipe down tables and chairs. Despite all these hiccups, Hanna made us feel like we had nothing to worry about, she helped us work out everything and made the wedding go off without any issues. Hanna is a rockstar and TVR is so lucky to have her, thank you so much Hanna!!! Also special shout out to Quinn, she helped Hanna and was also so talented and friendly the entire time. Thanks for your patience and expertise in managing all the room blocks. If you are considering TVR for a wedding, corporate retreat, family reunion or anything at all, just do it! I promise you will not be disappointed. There is no place like it. Coming from two AZ natives who are used to seeing beautiful desert landscapes, TVR offers a very unique experience. Key Takeaways: 1 - TVR feels like a remote picturesque location but your 20 minutes from a store in case you forgot anything! 2 - Although the property is historic and full of neat stories, it is also completely updated and the rooms are very modern and comfortable. 3 - You will find no better team, the staff is what makes the experience memorable, you can tell they care about your experience treating you like family. Thanks TVR for making our wedding better than we could have possibly dreamt of!!! We will be back often!!!

Working with TVR was a dream come true (without sounding too cliché). Nicole and the TVR staff made sure we were very comfortable with our decisions, shepherding us through a really tough time and even serving as an unintentional counselor at times ha! (as if wedding planning isn't hard enough!). The extra value in their services is how much they really do want you and your family/guests to have a good experience. Nicole is EXTREMELY patient- my family can have a LOT of questions (rightfully so) but ensured we had everything exactly as we wanted. All our guests were able to get a hold of a real human at TVR and ask any questions they had about their stay and the views/entertainment they might want to experience. We had a lot of guests feel like they really had a vacation and wedding all in one as it's so relaxing on the ranch. We got married at The Barn and boy is it stunning. Worth every penny. The waitstaff is exceptional and is so kind, too. I really feel like TVR is a second home- everyone is very welcoming and felt like a friend. Our guests were so impressed and I can't wait to spend some anniversaries there. Do yourself a favor and make the easiest choice of your wedding planning process and choose TVR.

I love Tanque Verde Ranch so much; I got married there TWICE! (same husband, though). We had a micro wedding in June 2020 that we originally were going to do on Mt. Lemmon, but that was on fire. We had a small ceremony and private dinner in the Board Room that was perfect and very socially distanced. This is perfect for the couple looking for something small and private.We then recently had a big wedding at The Barn. And let me tell you, there was drama, but every single staff member was a ROCK STAR. It was raining, and the road was flooded. I didn't even know yet, but they already had staff ferrying my vendors across. We had to move the rehearsal dinner inside, and they made it so great, even though it was disappointing not to have the Cottonwood Grove. They even vacuumed the water off the chairs twice the day of, so my guests didn't have to sit in wet chairs. We still had our ceremony outside, but they did a great job of helping our guests stay dry by keeping them inside while they arrived.Every guest was so impressed by the Ranch, and it was such a plus to have people stay on site (especially with the road flooding!). Pro-tip: the rooms are actually adjoining! We booked the two suites adjacent to the bridal suite, and it was so nice to have two extra bathrooms and lots of space to spread out, plus a living room we could keep clean for pictures.The venue is gorgeous, but the staff really make your wedding experience incredible. From the Catering team to every other department, everyone was so nice, welcoming, and genuinely focused on making sure our wedding weekend went perfectly. I had food poisoning on my wedding day and was so sick, but the banquet captain wrapped up my delicious meal so I could eat it later and the waitstaff was really concerned about me. I appreciated so much that they cared!I am so happy I had both of my weddings at the Ranch. Even though a monsoon storm could have ruined my wedding, it was still the best weekend. The communication, attention to detail, and care the Ranch staff put into their events really shows and I highly recommend any couple go with them.

Around 3 months before our wedding, we needed to find a new wedding venue. Somehow, the Barn at Tanque Verde Ranch was available so we scheduled a tour with Hanna. This venue is GORGEOUS. The pictures do not fully capture the beauty of the barn, the views and the entire ranch. We booked the Barn for our wedding and Cottonwood Grove for our rehearsal dinner. Hanna made everything so easy and worry free for us. Moving a wedding from Northern AZ to Southern AZ could have been very stressful but we never felt stressed. Every detail was thought of and planned out during our planning meeting. Hanna was always prompt in replying to any questions we had leading up to the wedding. The entire time we felt confident Hanna and the rest of the TVR team would take care of our wedding. Our wedding was perfect. The entire TVR team was incredible throughout our entire wedding weekend. Our shuttle drivers, our bartender and our servers all were so friendly and provided top notch service. Our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all went so smoothly. We did not have to worry about anything. We would 100% recommend having your wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch. We are so happy we did!Thank you Hanna and everyone else at TVR that made our wedding weekend so perfect, we really appreciate it!

We just had our wedding at the Barn and Tanque Verde Ranch and it was everything we had hoped it would be. The space was beautiful and everything went as intended. We worked with Sarah to get everything scheduled and she was both helpful and fast with her responses. We also worked with Quinn on our wedding day and she made us very confident that everything would be set up as we had wanted. Over all TVR and everyone we worked with was great and I would highly recommend holding a wedding, or any large event, there.

Wow, such a perfect venue! We were able to secure the barn for our big day and we can't believe we were so lucky to have our wedding at T.V. Ranch. It's very important to me to say such a HUGE thank you to Sarah, our event coordinator. During such a wild year in 2020, Sarah flat out made our wedding HAPPEN! Sarah was organized beyond belief, she communicated with me through all of our room changes, food changes, and last minute details that just inevitably happen. Sarah was so positive and encouraging, she brought a sense of relief during the beginning stages of planning our big day all the way to the actual wedding day, and that's where she REALLY SHINED. We had some last minute changes where some ppl were unable to attend and Sarah fluidly re-sat some of our family members after forecasting that we would have someone sitting alone. She wasn't asked, she just knew what to do, solved the issue without it ever being an issue! And that's just one example of how she made our big day seamless. SO GRATEFUL for you Sarah! Then venue is absolutely breathtaking, and I don't throw that word around, I promise. The rooms were great, the landscape is unlike any other venue, and I'm pretty sure everyone ate their entire dinner the food was so good! Thank you T.V. Ranch, you made our wedding day SPECIAL!!

The Tanque Verde Ranch was truly amazing. The staff and venue were perfect splendid. My husband and I were catered and attended to at every moment. We didn’t have to worry about our wedding party missing any moment of the ceremony. They were able to provide us with everything we needed. Most importantly they made our day extra special because of that warmth care from them. For example, after our ceremony pictures “Hannah” had our fave drinks ready for us for the drive up to our personal private pictures with the sunset. Hannah was attentive, caring, honest, and super awesome! She made us feel important and special. The venue had everything you needed. The barn, the newest addition was a rustic and classic setting. It was beautiful and magical especially with the enormous fireplace. It was truly breathtaking.

The Barn at Tanque Verde Ranch is the amazing venue ever. I had my wedding there on August 22nd and it was absolutely stunning and made for the most amazing wedding day! It doesn't matter how many times you go and see this beautiful venue, it leaves you speechless each and everytime! I am so grateful it was built in time for my husband and I to get married there! Also, if the venue and remarkable desert landscape weren't enough, the Tanque Verde Ranch staff are incredible! They did an amazing job from day one of our wedding planning process through to even after we got married! I absolutely love this place, the staff, the food, abd every detail that makes Tanque Verde Ranch and The Barn amazing. I highly recommend this venue and Tanque Verde Ranch overall!

As a Tucson native, I had been dreaming of having my wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch for a very long time. With its old-world Tucson charm combined with the best views of the mountains and saguaro cacti you could possibly ask for, who wouldn’t dream of getting married here? When I had the chance to make that dream come true, I could not have been more pleased with our experience. The scenery at the Cactus View site for the ceremony: divine. The cocktail hour on the front lawn: delightful for our guests to experience the true taste of the Southwest next to the horses. The Saguaro Room for our reception: deliciously romantic and beautiful. Sarah and the TVR staff were extraordinarily helpful and kind throughout the entire process, and helped to make wedding planning smooth and significantly less stressful than if we were to accomplish such a feat on our own. We also appreciated the flexibility of the venue. My husband and I were keen to have a gelato cart rather than a cake which otherwise would have been difficult to set up and coordinate, but TVR made the process smooth and hassle-free. Additionally, we had a complete blast with the day-after brunch and horseback ride. If we had to go back and re-do the wedding, we would pick TVR all over again. If you’re looking for a five-star wedding experience, look no further.

As a Tucson native, I had been dreaming of having my wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch for a very long time. I could not be happier with my wedding experience, and I am thankful for Sarah and the Tanque Verde Ranch team for helping it be that way. Sarah's accountability and organization made my wedding planning and execution exactly what I wanted it to be while minimizing any stress, She makes the planning another fun event in the wedding process and makes me as a bride just enjoy the ride. The venue itself was surreal in its beauty. We had multiple people tell us the backdrop of cactus view (where we had the ceremony) almost looked fake it was so beautiful. We were able to incorporate the incredible Tucson desert on our day and had the most lovely photos. I could not be happier with my wedding experience, and I am thankful for Sarah and the Tanque Verde Ranch team for helping it be that way. Sarah's accountability and organization made my wedding planning and execution exactly what I wanted it to be while minimizing any stress, She makes the planning another fun event in the wedding process and makes me as a bride just enjoy the ride. The venue itself was surreal in its beauty. We had multiple people tell us the backdrop of cactus view (where we had the ceremony) almost looked fake it was so beautiful. We were able to incorporate the incredible Tucson desert on our day and had the most lovely photos. The ceremony and reception felt intimate, though not at all cramped, as we have experienced in other wedding venues, The food was fantastic and the prickly pear margaritas were definitely my favorite. We got married at TVR in November and couldn't be more thrilled with our choice. We knew right away it was the perfect venue for us - elegant with an incredible desert setting. We can't stress enough how glad we are we picked TVR; they truly understand hospitality and event production and went above and beyond to make our wedding an event we were proud to host for guests from all over the country and world. Sarah Lee was AMAZING to work with. For over a year we corresponded mostly by phone and email as we live out of state. She made the planning process easy even from afar but most importantly her attention to every detail that I would have never thought of was tremendous. I felt so secure even up to the day of knowing she had thought of and planned for everything. The entire staff who helped with our wedding were all incredibly helpful, kind and knew exactly what to do and when. Our guests were very complimentary of everyone at TVR they interacted with, including the servers and bar staff, who exuded genuine hospitality. My husband and I stayed at the Ranch for several days after our wedding and pretty much everyone on staff continued to make us feel like we were incredibly special. I could go on - but to summarize we absolutely love TVR - it's a special and magical place that has a real sense of place and history, and an incredible staff to execute your wedding to perfection.

From the moment I got engaged I had a vision for my wedding. I wanted to find a place where my closes friends and family could come and spend an amazing weekend. From the moment my Fiance and I toured TVR I knew this was the place for us to get married. Throughout the entire process Sarah Lee and the staff at TVR were incredibly helpful. The wedding weekend far surpassed my expectations. The service at TVR is amazing, they made all of our wedding guest fell like royalty. TLDR: If you’re looking for a stunning desert venue with an amazing staff and delicious food, Tanque Verde Ranch is your place. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding. It’s difficult to put into words how the team at Tanque Verde Ranch made our wedding absolutely incredible. Their professionalism and attention to detail are beyond expectations. The venue itself is stunning and offers unique, Southwestern scenery that our 85 out-of-town guests were in awe over. We loved transitioning from Cactus View for the ceremony and cocktail hour, to Desert View Terrace for dinner, and then sparklers before cake and dancing in the Saguaro Room. The variety of venue options keeps the reception fresh with guests experiencing new spaces throughout the evening. We received countless compliments on the venue and delicious food, and guests loved the prickly pear margaritas passed around after the ceremony. Shoutout to Denise for always being a friendly face at the bar! And to the TVR banquet staff for being attentive to us as the bride and groom, and to all our guests. They made sure we ate by providing a plate of hors d’oeuvres for our marriage license signing following the ceremony, and by walking us through the buffet line at the beginning of dinner. Eating at your wedding is not a problem here. Finally, the cherry on top to our dream of a wedding was returning to our bridal suite filled with candles, rose petals, champagne and chocolate strawberries. I mentioned this before, but the thoughtfulness and attention to detail here are truly amazing. Now, from the bride’s individual perspective: Sarah Lee and her team are some of the most wonderful people I’ve worked with. They were so professional and responsive throughout the entire planning process. I’m very Type A when it comes to event planning and, for once, was able to let go of control and let Sarah and her team handle everything the day-of. They really did handle everything: setting up our decor and potted-plant centerpieces, keeping the timeline on track and working with our photographers, DJ, baker and guitarist so they knew where to be the day-of. I also recommend finding vendors who are familiar with the venue for peace of mind. It was truly special to feel 100% confident letting go of the logistics and simply enjoy my wedding. TVR has everything and more.In October 2018, I was on a mission to find and book a destination wedding venue for the following year, considering I was less than two months away from a military deployment overseas. That is when I first connected with Sarah Lee. My entire experience to include not only the wedding day itself, October 13, 2019, but leading up to it was simply flawless in communication, planning, coordination, and execution. Sarah and her team removed any stress from having to plan a wedding from 7,000 miles away and were directly responsible for giving me my perfect dude ranch wedding. I consider Sarah Lee and the staff at TVR to be lifelong friends because of this.

We truly had an amazing wedding, and Tanque Verde Ranch (Sarah, Hanna, and Nicole in particular) were a huge part of making that happen. Everyone was extremely professional and organized, but also very warm. I'm details person, and while we grew up in Tucson, we were planning the wedding from all the way in Chicago, so I was pretty stressed about making sure every aspect of the wedding was just right. I was impressed and relieved when over and over again I found that the Tanque Verde staff had really thought of everything, even things I hadn't really considered. No question I had or detail that concerned me was overlooked, and Sarah stayed in constant communication with me throughout the whole planning process. The actual day of could not have gone smoother. Again, Tanque Verde had really thought of everything, and their experience and attention to detail made it so we could really sit back, relax, and enjoy our day (the amazing bridal getting ready suite certainly didn't hurt!). The food was amazing, the setting was the elegant display of desert beauty that I hoped for, and I still have guests reaching out to me to say it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. We can't thank Sarah and everyone at Tanque Verde enough for making our wedding day perfect.

Look no further. You have found your venue. Getting married at Tanque Verde Ranch was the BEST DECISION (aside from picking my Groom) that I could have made in this entire wedding planning process. It was INCREDIBLE. Our day was perfect, the insane desert beauty out there can't be beat, and you'll receive the highest level of service from coordinators Sarah Lee & Hanna P. My stress level as a Bride was actually quite low, because I knew I was in competent, skilled hands who would think of all the questions, anticipate any issues, and execute our vision perfectly (which is hard to do for someone who borders on Type A). Working with Sarah and Hanna was a dream, because they are incredibly responsive, kind, helpful, hard working, genuine and authentic people. We had a lot of out of town guests stay at the Ranch as well, and everyone had an amazing experience. Though I won't be getting married again, if I did, I'd do it again at Tanque Verde. Oh, and did I mention they issued us a refund because our estimated bar bill was more than the actual figure came out to be? How incredible is that? I didn't even ask, Sarah just e-mailed to let me know we'd be getting some money back. Simply amazing. Thanks Tanque Verde!

Lets just say that we had an experience that went beyond our expectations! The weather, the venue, the staff, were absolutely perfect but none of them compared to our experience with Sara Lee! She was phenomonal to work with up until the day and then she put it in to high gear and knocked it out of the park the day of! For that we will forever be grateful. The wedding started out as a small gathering and quickly grew to 160 guests. Tyler and his family are from Tucson and Breanna moved to Tucson three years ago. Over half of the guests traveled to take part in the celebration of Breanna and Tyler's wedding. Friday night we hosted a cocktail reception on the Rincon Terrace with piped in music and hand passed delicious appetizers and drinks. This was the perfect kickoff! The following day guests enjoyed the many amenities that the property had to offer and then gathered for the cowboy cookout later that evening. The cookout was so much fun. The next morning many of the guest enjoyed a \"ride with the bride and groom\" up to the old homestead for delicious blueberry pancakes. This is a memory we will never forget and the perfect start to the day. The wedding took place at the Cactus View and could not have been anymore perfect. After the wedding the guest moved to the front lawn to enjoy a cocktail hour with a jazz ensemble. We then moved to the Desert View Terrace for a delicious dinner and toasts as the sun set over the beautiful Saguaro National Forrest. We then moved to the Saguaro Room for cake and dancing into the night with an amazing talented band @luckydevils. The wedding had lots of moving parts and I can not think of a single moment that I would change. My wife and I dreamed of giving our daughter and new son-in-law a special wedding but with Tanque Verde's help the event was even more than we had dreamed it would be. We are still receiving complements on how spectacular the wedding was and what a great vacation our guests had.

Tanque Verde Ranch served as the wedding venue of our dreams! We cannot recommend this venue more highly for any and every special event! Upon first visit to the ranch, we were blown away by the sheer beauty of the grounds. Sarah Lee and Hannah, our event coordinators, impressed us with their steadfast kindness, continuous guidance and support, and constant professionalism. They also act as your onsite, day-of wedding coordinators and helped to ensure that our wedding day was seamless. The spaces were set up and decorated immaculately by the staff. We selected Cactus View as our ceremony site, Rincon Terrace for cocktail hour, and Saguaro Room for our reception – all such wonderful spaces the ranch offers.Tanque Verde Ranch felt like a destination getaway for our out-of-town guests staying on the property and our local friends and family alike! As part of our wedding package, we were also able to select a ranch activity to do together. We chose to go horseback riding! It was my husband’s first time ever on a horse, and it was so much fun. We held our rehearsal dinner for out-of-town family/friends at the Saturday night Cowboy Cookout. It was a fantastic spread of BBQ fare, a cowboy singer, and fire pits with s’mores. It truly set the scene for our wedding weekend.Tanque Verde Ranch has our hearts. We are finding excuses to go back and visit the Dog House Saloon for a prickly pear margarita and a round of pool before heading down to the cookout to reminisce about the best weekend of our lives! Thank you, TVR! Do yourself a favor and get married here. It will be the best choice you’ll ever make (besides choosing your significant other to spend forever with, of course).

Tanque Verde Ranch served as the wedding venue of our dreams! We cannot recommend this venue more highly for any and every special event! Upon first visit to the ranch, we were blown away by the sheer beauty of the grounds. Sarah Lee and Hannah, our event coordinators, impressed us with their steadfast kindness, continuous guidance and support, and constant professionalism. They also act as your onsite, day-of wedding coordinators and helped to ensure that our wedding day was seamless. The spaces were set up and decorated immaculately by the staff. Let’s talk about first impressions - I called TVR on a whim just to see if I could walk around and look as a potential bride. I was not asking for a tour since I had not scheduled one and the immediate answer was, “Let us see if someone can take you around!”. That was definitely not the answer I expected, I just wanted to make sure it was okay if I walked around the grounds (totally would have been) by myself to see if I liked it. The Director of Sales, Mary Ellen, took about 1 ½-2 hours out of her day to give me the full tour of TVR, which was so kind and generous ESPECIALLY when I did not have an appointment! Based on my first impression of how beautiful all of TVR is and the helpfulness of everybody, I wanted to get married there! It also fit my and my husband’s (YAY) vibe of outdoorsy/desert-y. The MVP of all time is Sarah Lee, Sales Manager. She and I were in contact throughout all the planning of my wedding. She always responded to my emails thoroughly and promptly. Especially the the week/weeks leading up to the wedding we were talking a LOT about all the little details and she was just so amazing and on top of it, helping me with MANY THINGS that I had not even thought of (thank GOSH).The room block that comes with having a wedding there is nice, it DOES get released 1 month prior to the wedding, so I would suggest letting all your guests know about it a couple months in advance so that everyone who wants a room is able to get one. Our wedding was at the beginning of February so all the people coming in for the Gem show were coming in and there was another event the night off which booked up most of the rooms when it got announced, so make sure all your peoples have a room about 2-3 months in advance! I also booked my room for Friday night prior to the wedding, so that I could just wake up and be there and it was absolutely worth it. Getting married at Tanque Verde was like a dream. The bridal suite is fantastic (the mountain views are ammazzinng!) and the whole area is just so fantastically beautiful. We got married at Cactus View (MY FAVORITE) and they have taken out the tennis court right next to it, so now it is a lovely open lawn instead of a tennis court and it looks AMAZING. I loved that the food was included in the wedding package because it was so nice to not have to find a caterer. PLUS the food is absolutely DELICIOUS. The reception was in the Saguaro room and it was so beautiful in there! The cocktail hour was on the front lawn and the wedding guests got to see the horses turned out!There are so many special touches that TVR helped add to the wedding day in addition to their amazing staff and the gorgeous location. I would recommend anyone that wants a beautiful, desert wedding to get married here. The only thing I had to do on my wedding day was getting ready and taking pictures and getting married, and that was it! I did not lift a finger to do anything, it was the best, most relaxing morning I could have imagined for our wedding day. I cannot recommend them enough for weddings, it was a truly amazing experience!

TVGR is the epitome of authentic southwestern. From the drive to the base of the mountains, to the horse stables and corral, the beautiful and unique décor, and the hospitality of the staff. My jaw literally dropped for a solid minute when I walked into the bridal suite the morning of our wedding. I was blown away. Our ceremony was absolutely stunning, cocktail hour was picturesque, and the dining rooms/ dance floor set up were amazing as well. This place has all the feels of a horse ranch with modern amenities.Initial meetings with the staff, seeing the venue, completing our tastings were completely seamless. Sarah, the venue coordinator, was super detailed, very personable, and approachable. My wedding planner even said that they were very hands on and involved. The one area for improvement and really the only thing we would ‘ding’ TVGR would be in their communication about the room block. We were supposed to have 10 additional rooms added to our block after our initial block was full, but this did not happen. We were also not informed of the ranch hosting another event the same day as ours which consumed a large number of rooms. This was communicated to us by one of our guests who was unable to book a room. We were caught off guard and surprised. TVGR uses a 3rd party company to handle their reservations and I suspect this was the root of the miscommunication. Our other interactions with the 3rd party company when booking rooms for our family were terrible. They were not knowledgeable or helpful and they were just plain rude. In the end, Sarah was really helpful in fixing this mistake and in securing excess rooms that were made available after the other event canceled some of their rooms. This allowed additional wedding guests to stay at our venue. Day of set up was immaculate, everything was completed on time or ahead of schedule. It was as though tables, chairs, and lawn games, etc appeared from thin air. Sarah and her staff were extremely stealthy and very efficient. After hearing my friends experience with their wedding day (at other venues), I went in with the expectation that somethings were not going to go as planned and I was going to have to go with the flow. The day of the wedding was a dream. Literally nothing went wrong. N O T H I N G. Everything was executed at perfection. They are extremely professional.Apps, cocktails, and dinner was amazing. All our guests raved about the food. The chef and rest of the team were incredible in their preparation and timeliness. All the dishes not only tasted delicious but looked #FoodPorn worthy. Staff was 11 out of 10. Everyone was extremely courteous and attentive.Overall, I have to give Tanque Verde Guest Ranch a 5 out of 5, even with the room block mishap. If that is the only thing that went wrong out of the entire year of planning our wedding including the wedding day itself, then TVGR deserves 10 out of 5 stars! They really worked with us closely to make sure the day was exactly what we wanted. After initially visiting several resorts and other locations when searching for our wedding venue, we knew that TVGR was the right place for us because of the intimate and more personal experience that TVGR offered compared to the more commercialized and impersonal vibe we got from the rest of the resorts we visited. We are so happy with our decision to get married at TVGR and would 100 % recommend TVGR to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue.

Our daughter's wedding went off without a hitch, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue. I worked with Sarah Lee, she was fabulous. Very professional, very fun, and she kept me on track the whole time as the event got closer. The room was gorgeous, all new flooring! I would recommend this place to anyone, our wedding planner said this was the best venue she's ever worked with.

There is honestly no way to capture in this review how much we loved our experience at the Tanque Verde Ranch. From the moment that I spoke with Mary Ellen on the phone to talk about availability and pricing to the thoughtful touches they incorporated into our wedding day (i.e. chips and salsa waiting for us in the van that drove us to sunset pictures, champagne and rose petals waiting for us in our honeymoon suite), the ranch and its staff amazed us with their hospitality and attention to detail. Our first visit to the property was in May, before our November wedding. I remember thinking as I drove down the long road to the property that I hoped the place would be ok – we’d already signed our contract. I never realized that it would turn out to be the most magical place for our wedding. I can’t tell you how many times our guests came up to us during the wedding weekend and after, saying how mesmerized they were by the beauty of the ranch and how kind, helpful and friendly the staff were. Coming from the Midwest, we were stunned by the beauty of the desert – the pictures do not do it justice! Getting married in the shadow of the Saguaros was incredible.In addition to helping to make our big day run perfectly (I mean -these people are EXPERTS), working with Mary Ellen and Sarah Lee during the planning process left me completely calm and feeling prepared at each step of the process. I probably emailed Sarah 50 times with small (and sometimes big!) questions and she always got back to me in 24 hours or less. Sarah was always completely clear about the pricing, the decisions we had reached and the open items still to be addressed. If you are looking for a perfect venue and an unbeatable staff, you’ve found your spot in the TVR. Honestly, don’t look anywhere else. I have a twin sister and I’m trying to convince her to get married there, just so I can go back and experience a wedding at the ranch one more time.

My daughters wedding was at the ranch just this month, October 13, 2018. From the minute she visited the ranch to the end of our special weekend, there was never a doubt that we had picked the perfect place for her wedding!Sarah Lee and her staff were a joy to work with, as were the entire ranch staff. Our family and friends couldn't say enough nice things about the staff and how friendly and attentive they were. There we no hidden costs or surprises; everything was up front and explained ahead of time, and the food at both the rehersal dinner and wedding was delicious.My daughter picked the venue largely based on the outdoor spaces and the majesty of the surrounding desert and mountains. She is a Tucson girl, so this was very important to her. Unfortunately, the weather this month has been unusually rainy and we ended up moving the wedding ceremony and dinner inside due to rain. This transition happened at the last minute as we wanted to give mother nature every opportunity to cooperate. I have to say that Sarah and her staff made this transition seamless and the inside space was absolutely beautiful! I am so grateful that they were there and knew just what to do to make the ceremony just as beautiful inside as it would've been outside. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!I can't say enough good things about Tanque Verde Ranch and I hope we get the chance for another celebration there in the near future!

The Ranch is just absolutely beautiful, but our guests were blown away by the beauty that weekend. We had planned an outside ceremony/cocktails/dinner, but unfortunately mother nature decided to make a few changes. So, it poured my entire wedding day hahaha, but everyone at the Ranch knew how badly I wanted an outside wedding, so they waited until the very last minute to make the call to move everything indoors. Plan B was in full-effect. I was disappointed at first, but soon realized they did such a special job at making everything gorgeous for Plan B. Every detail was accounted for. In fact, most of our guests didn't even know that what they attended was Plan B! The food was great, although I wish I would have ate more of it! We had the rehearsal dinner in Cottonwood Grove, on Ranch property, which was phenomenal as well. Ultimately, even though nothing went according to my plan that day, everyone at the Ranch knew exactly what to do, and everything was absolutely perfect!If I could do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing!

I have struggled to write this review and attempted multiple times but the review keeps ending up WAY too long, but I am not sure how to adequately convey just how much Tanque Verde Ranch, Mary Ellen, and Sarah Lee did for our wedding. BOOK TVR FOR YOUR WEDDING. That is the gist of what I am getting at. They accommodated our entire \"rowdy\" group of 140 for basically an entire weekend extravaganza and went above and beyond to serve us and keep everyone more happy. As we were told on our tour of the ranch, our guests will talk about our wedding for a very long time and say it was the best wedding they've ever been too (which you would think everyone says that), but genuinely people already can not stop talking about our wedding. Everyone had a blast even with 110 degree days. I didn't even need a wedding planner or coordinator when I was planning out of state because Mary Ellen and Sarah Lee did so much. We didn't have a food tasting but Sarah made us feel confident that the food is great (Which our brief tour backed that up) and people are still raving about our food from the wedding and Friday Welcome dinner still a month later! The entire ranch is so unique and almost feels ALMOST like a luxurious summer camp when you're there with all of your closest family and friends. We would give anything to have our wedding again and not one single detail would we change. You can bet we will be there once a year from now. We owe so much to Mary Ellen and Sarah, that I almost don't even know what to say. I toured and researched many different venues in Washington and Tucson and not one other venue was as confident or organized in how they run things like them and it definitely showed at the wedding. I have struggled to write this review and attempted multiple times but the review keeps ending up WAY too long, but I am not sure how to adequately convey just how much Tanque Verde Ranch, Mary Ellen, and Sarah Lee did for our wedding. BOOK TVR FOR YOUR WEDDING. That is the gist of what I am getting at. They accommodated our entire \"rowdy\" group of 140 for basically an entire weekend extravaganza and went above and beyond to serve us and keep everyone more happy. As we were told on our tour of the ranch, our guests will talk about our wedding for a very long time and say it was the best wedding they've ever been too (which you would think everyone says that), but genuinely people already can not stop talking about our wedding. Everyone had a blast even with 110 degree days. I didn't even need a wedding planner or coordinator when I was planning out of state because Mary Ellen and Sarah Lee did so much. We didn't have a food tasting but Sarah made us feel confident that the food is great (Which our brief tour backed that up) and people are still raving about our food from the wedding and Friday Welcome dinner still a month later! The entire ranch is so unique and almost feels ALMOST like a luxurious summer camp when you're there with all of your closest family and friends. We would give anything to have our wedding again and not one single detail would we change. You can bet we will be there once a year from now. We owe so much to Mary Ellen and Sarah, that I almost don't even know what to say. I toured and researched many different venues in Washington and Tucson and not one other venue was as confident or organized in how they run things like them and it definitely showed at the wedding. Thank you TVR!!!

If you want yourself and your guests to have the time of their lives at your wedding then choose Tanque Verde Ranch for your Wedding Venue. The service, amenities, food, everything was 5 star. Sarah Lee and Cristina Moore made my day more special than I could have even imagined. They made my vision come to life and even brought to life things I couldn't have imagined. It felt more personal as if they were friends helping me with my wedding! Kyle the banquet manager made sure all the details went off without a hitch. Wedding day I was cool as a cucumber because I knew everything would be perfect and I didn't have to worry about a thing. All of my guests are still raving about the amazing, fun experience, and excellent food they had all weekend. And lets be honest you can not beat the scenery at Tanque Verde Ranch (I cannot wait to see my pictures). Seriously My wedding day was completely perfect and I owe it all to the amazing staff at Tanque Verde Ranch.

Our wedding at the ranch exceeded all of our expectations; the ceremony in Cactus View was stunning, the food was delicious, and Sarah and her team made everything run smoothly and stress-free. With many of our guests coming from out of town, it was the perfect place to spend an adventure filled, relaxing weekend with friends and family, and all of our guests loved exploring the beautiful desert landscape that surrounds the ranch. Tanque Verde Ranch perfectly captured the magic of the desert, and we highly recommend it!!

As a transplant from Los Angeles I had high expectations when scouting for wedding venues in Tucson/Phoenix (currently reside in Tucson). My main goal was to find a venue that offered both expansive unobstructed views of the desert coupled with several chic event spaces...and Tanque Verde Guest Ranch exceeded all of our expectations. If you want nothing short of spectacular then Tanque Verde Guest Ranch is your best bet. First of all, this desert chic Ranch is nestled 30 minutes outside of the city in a saguaro forest which gives you an insanely gorgeous setting in every direction. Second, the entire staff operates as if you're at the Four Seasons, they understand true customer service and all of your guests will never want to leave. Third and most importantly, you get Mary Ellen McBee and her team. She is the Director of Sales at the ranch and she will go above and beyond and then some. Her professionalism is outstanding and will treat your wedding as if it was her own. Her execution is impeccable and she has a solution for everything your bridezilla heart desires. In addition to that, the food at Tanque Verde Guest Ranch is amazing. Their Executive Chef Justin Macy is incredible and extremely creative. His vision and passion for excellence is outstanding. Tanque Verde Guest Ranch is extremely lucky to have Mary Ellen and her phenomenal team, she really puts Tucson on the map for destination weddings. Best of luck! Tanque Verde Ranch made my wedding more than I ever thought it could be. I had always dreamed of a beach wedding, something small and intimate, but the ranch was far greater. The staff made every meeting feel like you were meeting with old friends and family. Every detail was thought of and handled from napkin folding, menu tasting, staying the night after the wedding so you didn't have to drive home tired, setting up the reception, transportation from the bridal suite - literally EVERYTHING! My greatest hope that was my wedding be as stress-free as possible, and it was. My only disappointment is that it is over! Everything was a dream, everything was perfect. It was the perfect way to start out my marriage. Thank you to all of the staff - my TVR family! - that made my wedding GREATER than my wildest dreams!

My husband and I are very happy with our wedding experience at Tanque Verde Ranch. We initially met with Sarah who very much impressed us from the very first time we met her. We fell in love with Tanque Verde Ranch not only because of the beautiful desert landscape in which it sits on, but also because of the professionalism and organization of Sarah and her team. From the very beginning, all wedding details were explained in such a detailed and thorough manner that we felt 100% confident our wedding day would run smoothly. We were even impressed that Sarah gave us a complete tour of the venue that included areas where we could take our wedding photos and a look at the bridal suite. On our wedding day everything ran smoothly from ceremony to reception. Sarah and her team did an exceptional job decorating our venue and took the lead in ensuring that everything was set-up perfectly. The only feedback we received from our guests was positive. We were told that it was the best wedding they had attended because of the setting, food and organization of the event. Our wedding became the most unforgettable day for us and I can't give Tanque Verde Ranch enough credit for making it all possible. It is an exceptional place with exceptional service. Sarah is truly the best!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Tanque Verde Ranch in March 2018. From beginning to end, it was a wonderful experience working with everyone at TVR! Sarah Lee made the whole process fun and enjoyable. She answered my endless emails about everything and was always happy to make any changes or updates we needed. Sarah is extremely organized and quick to respond to any question or email you may have. We had our cocktail hour out on the front lawn and it was stunning! Our guests loved the prickly pear margaritas and beef tamale cakes! We had our reception in the main dining room and used both rooms since we had 140 people. We loved how the buffet was in a separate area and you could close the doors off when everyone had eaten. The food was absolutely delicious! We served tri-tip, blue corn chicken, and salmon for dinner and our guests loved it. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready in. The makeup and hair team had plenty of space to set up and work in the living room area. We had lunch from TVR delivered to the different rooms the day of the wedding and it was perfect! After the reception the staff came in for turn down service and totally changed the room with candles and rose petals. It was wonderful after such an eventful day to come back to a quiet room with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne!If you are trying to pick a wedding venue and you are looking for a stunning location that highlights the beauty of the desert, I highly recommend the Tanque Verde Ranch!

We planned the wedding from Denmark, and they made it as easy as it could possible be for us. They really know what they were doing! The catering team was also super helpful and kind all night, always available and attentive to everything. We absolutely love the ranch and plan to stay there whenever we're back visiting! GORGEOUS, ROMANTIC, SEAMLESS, EASY & FUN! After reading the reviews, meeting with Sarah Lee, touring the venue and looking at all the pictures online, I had high hopes for my wedding at TVR. I was absolutely blown away with how everything went both on the big day and every day before planning. Sarah Lee and the whole TVR team far exceeded my expectations and I am SO glad we chose them for our wedding. Sarah Lee was so easy to work with, whether you’re a bride who wants to be hands on planning all the details, or have no clue what you’re doing and need a lot of help or guidance, she understands and works with you based on your needs. Sarah made the entire process as easy as it could possibly be. The food was outstanding, the sparkler send off was so much fun and turned out better than any other one I have ever been to at a wedding. TVR has my highest recommendation. Sometimes when a venue has the amazing asset of just being a location that sells it all, the staff can fall short - this is NOT the case at TVR. Not only is the entire ranch spectacular if you want a desert wedding, but the staff, and I mean every single one of them from the catering team, to the chef, to bartenders and the lodging staff - everyone goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of and that you feel like the most special person there. As soon as the wedding was over I immediately wanted to live it over again because it was just SO MUCH FUN! THANK YOU TVGR for the MOST AMAZING DAY of our lives!!!!!!!

The location and the feel of the ranch were so magical, all of our guests were raving to us the whole time. Mary Ellen and Sarah and the Tanque Verde Ranch team made our wedding an absolutely picture perfect day!!! I was 100% at ease the whole day! As a bride who is extremely detail oriented, I felt like I was able to enjoy my morning getting ready with my bridal party while the TVR team made my wedding ceremony and reception dreams into reality! I would recommend this location to anyone! Our wedding day had scattered showers (yes, in AZ) and I didn't worry at all because I knew Mary Ellen was in total control and was worrying for the both of us. They knew we wanted the Cactus View ceremony and we were able to wait it out for the rain to let up. TVR works with you to make the wedding you want happen, even is the weather gives you a run for your money! Tanque Verde Ranch will always hold such a dear spot in my husbands and my hard.

I highly recommend tanque verde ranch if you want to have the wedding of your dreams in a one of a kind, special setting that no guests will forget. If you're considering it, stop thinking about it and Just do it! After it is all said and done you will thank yourself for your decision.Firstly, and most importantly, the TVR wedding coordinators, Sarah and Mary Ellen, are absolute gems! You won't have to kill yourself worrying about the details of your big day because they will make sure it happens right! They always approached my annoying/clueless emails and calls with care, grace and sometimes humor. They were always prompt and always went the extra mile. On the day of the wedding they told me to relax because I was done working.I had no clue what I was doing planning a wedding! They reminded me of the tasks I needed to do along the way and the right timeline to keep me on track throughout my 14 month process from booking them to my wedding day. They were clear, fair and detailed about prices and expectations. They gave gentle reminders when I forgot something important.For example, they mentioned when I should have my different vendors booked in order for them to be available on my day. Most important ones \"priority vendors\" go first! The list of preferred vendors they can provide is a dream team. I highly recommend tanque verde ranch if you want to have the wedding of your dreams in a one of a kind, special setting that no guests will forget. If you're considering it, stop thinking about it and Just do it! After it is all said and done you will thank yourself for your decision.Firstly, and most importantly, the TVR wedding coordinators, Sarah and Mary Ellen, are absolute gems! You won't have to kill yourself worrying about the details of your big day because they will make sure it happens right! They always approached my annoying/clueless emails and calls with care, grace and sometimes humor. They were always prompt and always went the extra mile. On the day of the wedding they told me to relax because I was done working.I had no clue what I was doing planning a wedding! They reminded me of the tasks I needed to do along the way and the right timeline to keep me on track throughout my 14 month process from booking them to my wedding day. They were clear, fair and detailed about prices and expectations. They gave gentle reminders when I forgot something important.For example, they mentioned when I should have my different vendors booked in order for them to be available on my day. Most important ones \"priority vendors\" go first! The list of preferred vendors they can provide is a dream team. I cannot say enough great things about Mary Ellen and Sarah Lee! We did a destination wedding here, and absolutely NOTHING went wrong. The entire wedding went off without a hitch! These women are amazing. I even had my photographers (whom we flew in from California) say that they have NEVER worked with a venue that has better hospitality than the Tanque Verde Ranch. All of our guests loved it, and so did we! It was the most magical day of our lives, and it was executed to our expectations- absolutely flawlessly. Probably EXCEEDED our expectations is a better term. We will be visiting the ranch for YEARS to come, and so will our guests. Tanque Verde Ranch was such a spectacular wedding venue. The two wedding planners there, Mary Ellen and Sarah, were so helpful and organized every step of the way. I could not have done my wedding without them. They made sure every detail on the day of was absolutely perfect, and as a bride, it is so wonderful to not have to worry about anything on your special day!Besides the wonderful wedding coordinators, the venue itself was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. The tasting for the wedding was one of the hardest decisions to make! How can you decide when everything you try tastes so good? Also, the venue is beautiful. The outdoor ceremony spot is breathtaking with the Saguaro National Park in the background. The ranch has so many different areas to explore, like the pond, mesquite arch, and the cottonwood grove. Our wedding pictures turned out spectacular and it is definitely in part to how stunning the venue is. The ranch is truly unique and I would highly recommend you to go check it out!

Tanque Verde Ranch is the most wonderful place to get married I have ever seen. Yes, I may be biased, but I was also told this by many of our wedding guests as well. When we decided to get married at TVR, we weren’t even looking for a wedding venue. We had just become engaged and were taking an “off the beaten path” vacation to visit a dude ranch I randomly stumbled upon online – that’s how things typically happen, right? From the moment we arrived on the property, we were hooked. Not only was this place stunningly gorgeous and unique, but the energy we felt was so positive and relaxing. I dare you to visit and not feel this very same thing. We made connections with the staff right away; that’s another winning quality of TVR – we felt like part of a family. From the airport driver (Jeff) to the mountain biking guide (PNut), we immediately knew we found a special place with special people. Jeff was actually the first to propose the idea that we get married on the ranch. We brushed it off but figured there was no harm in meeting with Mary Ellen, the wedding coordinator.At that meeting, we silently decided this would be the place we would get married. TVR made everything perfect for us. It was a group effort but Mary Ellen and Sarah did most of the heavy lifting. They are very good at planning weddings, and also at connecting with people. By the end of the wedding, they felt like part of the family, and that was very meaningful to us. They do not treat you like most other wedding venues we’ve seen, like just another wedding to be shuffled in and out. They really care and it shows in the final product. My (now) husband and I cannot say more great things about the Tanque Verde Ranch. We fell in love with this place the moment we drove into their parking lot. The beauty of the ranch is breathtaking and very unexpected, especially in Tucson. Our first meeting with Mary Ellen was so much fun. She took us around the ranch to show us all the venues to choose from, the beautiful rooms, and the incredibly delicious food. We were so excited to have our wedding here, we didn’t have to think twice about it. Once the date was set, Mary Ellen has everything laid out for us which made a lot of the wedding planning much easier than expected. Our day of was completely flawless thanks to Mary Ellen and Sarah. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is set just the want you want it. The day before the wedding I gave Sarah a bunch of boxes for the décor and said “make it beautiful” and I couldn’t have imagined our décor to be more stunning. Anything and everything we needed, they got us. From van picking us and family up in 108 degree heat and driving us all over the ranch, to moving their beautiful dining room chairs for our reception, to double checking all of our place cards to make sure all the names were there, to finding my husband and I an energy drink so we could enjoy our reception; everything we needed, everything we asked for or didn’t ask for, they gave us. The food and drinks are out-of-this-world delicious! Definitely recommend the Hell Fire Margarita, Prickly Pear Margarita and ALL of the food they have to offer. We really couldn’t have asked for more. \tWe decided to stay a few extra days after the wedding to enjoy the perks of the ranch. We went on the trail ride that my mom, husband and I all very much enjoyed. My husband had never ridden a horse before and even he felt comfortable and enjoyed the time on the horse. The staff at the ranch couldn’t be more inviting and happy to help you. Every single person we encountered made our experience there more enjoyable. We had the most incredible experience at the Tanque Verde Ranch and HIGHLY recommend visiting this oasis in Tucson.

The staff at Tanque Verde Guest Ranch helped us put together the wedding of our dreams! Mary Ellen and Sarah were a dream to work with and went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed! They helped make sure every step was fun, relaxing, and done right! I tend to stress out and try to take on too much, but I felt at ease knowing Mary Ellen and Sarah had everything under control! They have a great sense of humor which came in handy with our crazy bridal party! The entire staff was extremely friendly the entire wedding weekend and made sure my husband and I and our guests were taken care of! They put their heart and soul into their work and it truly shows! They planned our rehearsal dinner in the extremely beautiful and romantic Cottonwood Grove, offering transportation down and back up for guests, and arranged the bridal suite for all the bridesmaids to stay in the night before. All meals were insanely delicious (All of our guests raved about each meal!). Joe the Banquet manager also did a superb job in overseeing the food and beverages both nights, as well as personally driving us up to our bridal suite post after party! Our ceremony took place in cactus view (showcasing the natural beauty of AZ) with dinner above in Desert View under the beautiful night sky, and a sparkler transition to the after party in the Saguaro room! Mary Ellen and Sarah made sure each transition was smooth, natural, and fun! We received so many compliments on the changes and flow to the night! During the cocktail hour we were driven around the ranch by Sarge (he's a hoot!) for photos and were provided with margaritas and our chosen appetizers, so we didn't miss out! To top off the night they decorated the bridal suite with candles, rose petals, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries! It was truly a fairy tale and completely stress free thanks to the wonderful staff!

The entire staff was extremely friendly the entire wedding weekend and made sure my husband and I and our guests were taken care of! They put their heart and soul into their work and it truly shows! They planned our rehearsal dinner in the extremely beautiful and romantic Cottonwood Grove, offering transportation down and back up for guests, and arranged the bridal suite for all the bridesmaids to stay in the night before. All meals were insanely delicious (All of our guests raved about each meal!). Joe the Banquet manager also did a superb job in overseeing the food and beverages both nights, as well as personally driving us up to our bridal suite post after party! Our ceremony took place in cactus view (showcasing the natural beauty of AZ) with dinner above in Desert View under the beautiful night sky, and a sparkler transition to the after party in the Saguaro room! Mary Ellen and Sarah made sure each transition was smooth, natural, and fun! We received so many compliments on the changes and flow to the night! During the cocktail hour we were driven around the ranch by Sarge (he's a hoot!) for photos and were provided with margaritas and our chosen appetizers, so we didn't miss out! To top off the night they decorated the bridal suite with candles, rose petals, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries! It was truly a fairy tale and completely stress free thanks to the wonderful staff!

The way I chose my wedding venue was a little risky in most people's eyes - I knew I wanted to have a destination wedding in Arizona but had no place in mind. The day after my husband and I got engaged, I Googled \"Arizona Desert Wedding.\" I browsed through a few photos on Google Images to get an idea of what looked like the location I had been envisioning in my head. One photo really stuck out to me and screamed exactly what I wanted - desolate mountains and saguaro cacti. This photo was from another wedding at the TVR so I browsed the whole album. I was sold immediately - I called the ranch later that week and booked our date. My husband and I do not know a soul in Tucson so we had no friends or family to help us out when it came to their opinion of the ranch or any vendors they might suggest. I trusted my gut on this decision and I can tell you that, besides marrying my husband of course ;), this was one of the best and smartest decisions I have made. Mary Ellen and Sarah, the wedding planners at the ranch, have been by my side during this whole process and, if you can imagine, made my wedding planning completely stress free. Anytime I wanted to add something or change something or just ask a general question one of them got back to me extremely quick. I never once had to worry about who I was going to choose as my vendors because they sent me a few lists of recommendations - and they were fantastic recommendations too! They made me feel like I was a priority and my happiness was important to them. I have heard plenty of horror stories regarding wedding planners being aggressive and hard to work with. It was the complete opposite with Mary Ellen and Sarah - I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! Their work ethic was the exact same way when it came to my rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. Everything looked even more beautiful in person - they both took the time (and quite a lot of time and effort from what I could tell) to make sure every detail was perfect. I cannot say enough good remarks about them or thank them enough for everything they have done for me and my family. Everyone I encountered at the ranch was very kindhearted and you could tell they loved their job. I have never quite experienced a place like the TVR - I felt so safe and felt like I was at home. As a bride, if you are looking for an amazing location for you and your guests, photo ops that will blow people's minds, and an overall enjoyable wedding planning experience then this is definitely your place!

Mary Ellen and Sarah are absolutely THE BEST! From the first site visit, to nailing down all the details to making the entire wedding day perfect…these girls are the dream team! The ranch as a location really speaks for itself; the scenery and each little space available are unique and beautiful. In fact I loved so many spaces we ended up using 4 throughout our wedding day, and it turned out phenomenal. All of our guests raved at how beautiful the ranch was and more importantly how good the food was! As far as locations go, it really is “turn-key” and they cover almost everything for you there. The girls are so easy to work with, and any time I sent an email…Sarah got back to me within minutes! They also keep you on track, as far as what they need from you and when. At the beginning I struggled with whether to hire a wedding planner or not, and if you choose the ranch you definitely don’t need one. I can’t say enough good things about TVR and the staff, I am so happy we chose it for our wedding and can’t wait to keep going back!!

From the minute we booked our daughter's wedding until the after party was over, every single thing ran smoothly thanks to our amazing wedding planners, Mary Ellen and Sarah. They were with us every step of the way making sure that the wedding was nothing less than incredible! We worked with them for a whole year and they actually became family to us. They guided us, answered questions immediately, made suggestions when asked and all with infinite patience. Since the ranch was a destination wedding, it was so important for us to be able to communicate with these wonderful ladies and they made it so easy! They gave my daughter her dream wedding and what more could a mother want? Our guests had so much fun and could not stop talking about this fabulous wedding they were attending...since all of them traveled thousands of miles to be with us, it made us appreciate Mary Ellen and Sarah even more. As for the ranch, there are not enough words to describe the beauty of the various venues. We used Cactus Lawn View for the ceremony and cocktails...absolutely gorgeous! We had the reception at Cottonwood Grove which literally took your breath away when we saw it! Tanque Verde Ranch is an amazing desert venue with exceptional staff that really thinks of everything. Mary Ellen makes you feel at home and truly makes your day so special! The ranch offers suites on site which allow for travelers to truly enjoy the occasion without worrying about driving off location. A Fantastic Dream Wedding\rOur daughter, who lives in Dallas, always dreamed of a destination wedding. Her mother and I live in Tucson and upon the announcement of her engagement, we suggested a destination wedding in the unique Sonoran high desert near Tucson. Our daughter and her new fiancée agreed whole heartily and were immediately on board. \rWe looked at several wedding vendors/locations in the Tucson area, but when we drove out to Tanque Verde Ranch (TVR) and saw the magnificent views of the Santa Catalina and Rincon Mountains, Saquaro Cactus, and a corral full of horses, we knew that we had found our wedding destination.\rWe met with Mary Ellen (Catering Sales Manager) and Sarah (Catering Sales Coordinator), and were immediately impressed with their professionalism and helpfulness. They became our de facto wedding planners, and we could not have been in more capable hands. They patiently and expertly guided us through the planning process, accommodating our needs, and even supplied a list of recommended vendors – DJ (Larry Mac, Mobile DJs), Photographer (Lori O’Toole), Wedding Cake (Ambrosia), and Florist (Posh Petals). All vendors did an outstanding job!\rThe wedding was held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 and was Tanque Verde Ranch’s first wedding of the New Year.\rAll wedding events were held at the ranch… Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception Dinner. We also arranged for horseback and horse drawn wagon rides for all wedding guests. These rides were a big hit with our guests… many of whom had never ridden a horse. The rides toured the hills and creeks of the ranch, with magnificent views of the mountains and Saguaro National Park. As most of our guests were first time visitors to Tucson, many enthusiastically commented that riding the trails around the ranch provided an unforgettable memory and an experience they had previously only seen in western movies.\rThe wedding ceremony was outdoors at a location called Cactus View, which lived up to its name by offering a wonderful overlook of a creek with running water, the Saguaro Cactus National Forrest, and snowcapped Rincon Mountains. The ceremony was absolutely perfect.\rThe dining experience at the rehearsal and reception dinners was exceptional. All food was a combination of gourmet/southwestern and easily rated 5 stars. Our guests had plenty to eat and raved about the food. Joe, the Banquet Manager, did a fantastic job of overseeing food preparation, presentation, and service. Also, the wedding reception in the Saguaro Room was a blast and everyone had a great time at this unique venue.\rWedding guests, both young and old, made a point to tell us that this was the best wedding they had ever attended.
