Ashley Keeney(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-04-2016 They provided me with a magical and fairy tale wedding of my dreams! I could not of asked for a better team or venue. Jessica is on top of her game! Her and Traci worked hard to ensure that my day was stress-free and perfect. I never felt that they did not have my best interest at heart and I trusted them through the entire process. Instead of leaving everything up to me, Jessica was in constant communication with me and provided me with check lists along the way to ensure that I was on top of the planning aspect. I had a beauty and the beast themed wedding. They were both thrilled and excited to help. I had them cater the event. They provided the silverware, glasses, linens, and used some of their decorations, it was all included in my price! They do not nickel and dime you for every piece. The food was perfect and my guest raved about it after saying it was some of the best they have had. At the time, they also did my flowers. I had very few arrangements, but they were exactly what I wanted and turned out beautiful. They have a bartender that is included in their packages that was awesome! Mr. Wolfe helped create my signature drinks, provided an estimated alcohol list and also offered to purchase all the alcohol. Whatever we did not use, he would buy back. With an open bar, it was a nice option to have. The day before the wedding we were able to set up decorations which was extremely nice since I purchased most of the decorations myself. This was a bonus and made the day of extremely smooth since I had that time to decorate the day before. The venue was in tip top shape! The lawn was beautifully manicured, the mansion was spotless, the crystal ballroom was glowing, the pavilion was power washed and dryed, and the pool looked good enough to swim in! My guest could not talk up the venue enough on how beautiful it was. Jessica worked with my DJ and her staff to ensure that the wedding went according to plan and was a wonderful day of coordinator. She made sure that we were all on schedule and we were able to experience the entire process. My husband and I had a private table after the ceremony to breathe with cheese, meats, & our signature drinks waiting for us. Jessica made sure when we came into the reception that a plate of food was being sent to our table. The DJ was on cue with one look from Jessica. The little things that she did throughout the day is what counted and made the wedding run so smoothly. The price was well worth everything that we got and a plus that we did not have to deal with the Austin regulations. They sent my deposit back in a timely manner and there were no hidden fees. They really made my day magical and it was truly a fairy tale wedding! Reviewed on 13-06-2016

Angela Dancy(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-04-2014 My husband and I planned our Austin wedding from Dallas. When we came down from Dallas to select a venue, we had several locations in mind. Right before we set out, we did one last Google search and found The Taylor Mansion. At the end of a long day filled with venue visits and confusing rate sheets, we decided that The Taylor Mansion would be our final stop of the day. Troy and Amy gave us a tour of the grounds and an easy to understand breakdown of their rates. We greatly appreciated their transparency and unyielding kindness. We booked our wedding at the mansion that day.\r\rWe planned our big day for a little over a year. During that time, we met with Troy and Amy several times in Austin and in Dallas (yes - THEY came to US a few times!) to discuss details, to perform premarital counseling, and for tastings!\r\rAmy and Troy helped mine and my husband's vision for our wedding come to life. We wanted a semi-casual, southern themed wedding, and Troy and Amy allowed us to customize every detail down to our menu. Everyone raved about the food and Amy's INCREDIBLE cake. They even helped us complete our rustic centerpiece look by providing wood slices for our mason jar vases!\r\rOur day was absolutely perfect. Everything went exactly as planned. If we had the chance to do our wedding again, we'd pick Troy and Amy every time!\r\rThank you both! We loved working with you!\r\rLove,\rRyan and Angela Reeder Reviewed on 04-10-2014
kerrie scruggs(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-09-2013 The mansion is absolutely beautiful! The owner or event coordinators however aren't as together the day of as they make you believe! 5 minutes before I was about to walk they forgot to get all the boutineers an out bouquets to us! The toast glasses my mom had gotten is for out toast weren't put out or brought to us! It rained about 4 inches that night the parking lot was merely a pasture, no gravel or pavement, all of my guests got stuck and muddy! And then to top it off they blamed us for ruining their. Pasture parking lot and threatened to hold our $500 security deposit! I felt like they were more about the money! Troy was Aleays super accurate when he told us what we owed, never left out a dime, but after so arguing back and forth about getting the money he owed us (we paid over and then our security deposit) he sent us a check that was $400 less then what he owed us and when I sent him back an email he said that sorry he must've miscalculated,! Funny there was no miscalculation when we were paying them! Reviewed on 14-10-2013

And when our cake person had to have surgery and couldn't do our cake a month before, Amy was able to step in!! The cakes were the best I have ever had, especially at a wedding. They were all very helpful and understanding about us needing to keep expenses low and stick to our budget; even calling me to let me know Hobby Lobby had a sale on the runner I would need! The venue it self is breath taking at night, the candle lights reflect off the glass ballroom and it is AMAZING. We could not have asked for a better venue or people to make our day all that it was. Heather Newman(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-09-2011 I am 60 days out from our wedding, and we are now looking for a new venue. Talk about a nightmare! I booked my wedding with them in March, and here it is July and I am looking for a new venue. The people at Taylor Mansion are horrible people. They are deceitful, and make promises they don't intend to keep. Troy is just clueless. He says one thing, then comes back via email with a completely different answer. And don't get me started on \"Ms Traci\" as Troy always refers to her as. She actually stood up and threw our deposit check at me. Yes, a grown women running a wedding business threw the check at me. \r\rLet's just say for our final tasting they tried to cancel on me, and once they realized they could have another wedding on Saturday since mine was on a Sunday, they canceled the pool party and rehearsal they promised me for the last 4 months. They are more worried about being profitable. Yes, I'm not an idiot, you're a business, but there are ethics people. \r\rI am just warning all you brides out there. They really do seem to good to be true because they are! I just hate that they got to completely make a wreck of this time that is suppose to be fun and exciting.\r\rDO NOT GO TO TAYLOR MANSION! Stephanie Labenski(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-12-2010 We were thrilled with the Taylor mansion. Everyone commented on how beautiful the property was not to mention the crystal ballroom. We had our entire wedding on the property from ceremony to reception. They were a pleasure to work with and had great tips and advice along the way. We had a cold front blow in two days before our wedding and they accomadated us with heaters at the ceremony site and then went out of their way to move them to the outdoor patio where part of the reception took place. It was a beautiful place to be married. Reviewed on 23-01-2011
Alayna McFarland(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-05-2010 The Taylor Mansion had shown up on my search for a venue a few times, but being that I had never heard of it, and the location, I was reluctant to give it a shot. After being discouraged by high prices, we decided to look at that Taylor Mansion, as our last hope. We couldnt have been happier when we got there! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and completely what I was looking for. The mansion itself is beautifully decorated, and very warm and inviting. The reception hall really is the icing on the cake, with the glass walls and ceiling, the place was stunning. Tracy was so willing to work with us on everything, and was so excited to share the house, and the stories with us. She was super sweet, and wanted to make sure that we were completely satisfied with everything. She catered our rehearsal dinner for us, and let us set up the night before to save some time the next day. The venue was a bit of a drive, but completely worth it. We used hotels in Hutto and Round Rock for our guests. People found it easily, and were pleased with the atmosphere. The ceremony and reception went smoothly, and the place looked perfect. Everyone was raving about the venue all night and after the wedding! We had about 150 guests, and plenty of room. Couldnt have been a more perfect day, thanks to the Taylor Mansion! Totally worth the drive, and more! Reviewed on 20-11-2010
