Johnson Hall Museum is a private museum with a historic Tea Room and vintage buildings located on 10 acres in Wells, Maine. We can host indoor occasions in our ballroom, accommodating 130 guests with a dance floor or up to 180 without. Our grounds have a tent site for larger groups, perfect for lavish occasions, and we provide a range of equipment and rentals to elevate the space. We also have a ceremony site, a get-ready cottage for the bride, and quaint historic outbuildings, offering an unforgettable backdrop for photos. The Tea Room at Johnson Hall Museum is closed to the public during private events, giving you exclusive use of the property. Our building is wheelchair accessible for optimal comfort and convenience of all guests, and we offer free WiFi to keep you connected. We also have a fully equipped kitchen where your catering team can prepare your celebratory meal. We only host one wedding per weekend, giving you ample time to enjoy a memorable, stress-free, and affordable rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and brunch.
