Located in North Haledon, NJ, The Tides Estate is an elegant wedding venue with a sprawling seven acres of lush green gardens. Specializing in luxury white-glove banquet weddings, the estate is historically renowned for delicious catering. Initially a bootleg whiskey distillery, the grounds were purchased by German immigrant George Werner. Eventually, George rebranded the property into a picnic grove which his son later built upon, opening an on-site restaurant. After several changes of hands, The Tides Estate remains New Jersey’s best-kept secret for gourmet specialty foods. Upon arriving at the great house, guests step inside a world of opulence and refined furnishings. Magnificent chandeliers adorn the decorative ceilings and light cascades from the towering floor-to-ceiling windows. Ceremonies and receptions can take place in several event spaces on the property, such as the gardens, the lobby, and two lavish ballrooms. The ballrooms feature stunning parquet floors ideal for a romantic first dance. These spacious halls can accommodate a variety of seating styles and floor plans, allowing for total customization. Every corner of the estate is perfectly maintained and will infuse photos with unforgettable beauty. The Tides Estate offers all-inclusive wedding packages complete with delicious catering and bar services. Beginning with private tours, couples can meet with a professional banquet manager to discuss the menu and their vision for the big day. On the day, you and your guests will be greeted by uniformed valets and a glass of Champagne, setting the tone for the rest of the special occasion. Dining styles include butler-style hors d'oeuvres, buffets, and seated, served by highly skilled white-glove staff. Additional luxuries include a signature hand-carved ice sculpture, in-house designed invitations, and cuisines such as sushi stations and lobster stations.

Our wedding last night was perfect from start to finish. The maitre d' Mike was phenomenal. The venue is the most beautiful in every way and the price is right. We could not have an outdoor ceremony due to rain, but the indoor space was all set for us.The food was great and the staff was very professional

Never in a million years would I have expected to get married in such a beautiful and elegant place. From the moment my husband and I walked into the venue we knew we wanted to be married here! When we met with Mike he answered every question we had and was so patient with us. He explained each step and in the time we had between booking and the actual wedding day Michael was always available to calm my nerves! They worked extremely well with all the vendors specially our day of coordinator. Our decorations were displayed so well and were packed back up with care. My husband and I never wanted for anything during the day and the maitre’d we had (also another Michael) was always handing us water, drinks, or food. It was like magic haha. All of our guests commented how much food there was and no one left hungry (the food was amazing!)…they also raved about the drinks and the bar staff (apparently the espresso martinis are totally worth it!). In the morning when I was getting ready with my girls I also felt so cared for…plenty of snacks and drinks to sustain us. We are so happy with the choice of having our wedding here and are grateful for their hospitality and generosity. Thank you Mike Stroganoff and team!

The Tides Estate was the perfect venue for our wedding. From their stunning grounds to their breath taking ballroom, everything is absolutely beautiful. We cannot say enough good things about our experience here. We worked with Tito from the very first time we viewed the venue and we instantly knew this was where we wanted to celebrate our love. The entire staff was so friendly and professional. Any question we may have had Tito was there to answer in a timely manner. Alberto was our maitre d for the day and was absolutely AMAZING. Our decor was set up beautifully and exactly how we asked and he always made sure we had everything we needed. For the entrees, he gave us a sample of all the choices we had picked. Let me just say, delicious is not even the word to describe the abundance of food we had! Everyone raved about how delicious the food from cocktail hour and entrees were. We were so impressed how the food was displayed during cocktail hour and how they continued to replenish any dishes that were almost empty. The choices were endless! We could not have dreamt of a better venue to have our wedding. You will not be disappointed when you choose The Tides!

Tito helped us with all our planning and made a stressful day smooth sailing. He answered all our questions before we were able to ask them. He was very professional but yet the kindest and friendliest man to work with. I can't thank him or say enough good things about him. He is simply great. He assigned Steve as our maître d. We are so thankful to have Steve on our side. Steve made us feel like a King and Queen. Every detail was covered by Steve. Things that we would have never thought of were covered by Steve. Steve made sure our guests were as happy as we were. Again, both made our wedding the most happiest day of our lives and very stress free. Our guests told us that this was the best wedding they have ever attended. Yes our guests said best wedding they have ever attended. Two of our guests just attended a wedding the week before at a different venue and said ours was great and the other one was no comparison even though the couple were financially better off than we are. The Tides as you can see when you visit, is a beautiful estate with multitudes of delicious food choices. But these alone don't make a great wedding. Tito, Steve and his staff made our wedding great. Theresa and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God bless you both!

The Tides Estate was incredible! We booked them for out wedding on Thursday May 26th 2022. First off, the venue was gorgeous and so beautifully designed. Michael Stroganoff was our banquet manager and he was so great at answering all of our questions and making sure our every request were applied. The food was amazing and we had so many options to choose from. The price was very reasonable considering everything we had included! It included the cake, the ice sculpture, cocktail hour, plus the open bar was top notch. Its also conveniently located in the beautiful area of North Jersey so you and your guests will get that immediate feeling of elegance the second you arrive at the well kept estate. If you are looking for a wedding venue that will take care of everything then look no further because the Tides Estate has everything you need.

From the beginning, we had an extremely professional and productive relationship with Mike Stroganoff.He was extremely straight forward and certainly has a tremendous amount of experience with these events. His attention to detail is unbelievable and he deserves more plaudits than we can give. It certainly put our minds at ease. The timeline of planning provided by him was very appropriate and allowed us to hash out the details we wanted.The event was executed so well. The guests were simply in awe of the venue and the event. The feedback was simply tremendous and we could not have asked for more. The Maitre'D (Alberto) was extremely attentive to sequence of events and even made sure that we had something to eat in the midst of the event. It was truly a pleasure to work with Mike Stroganoff from the beginning to the end.We enthusiastically recommend the Tides Estate to anyone looking for an amazing venue to host their important life events.

We met Tito during our first initial visit and it was as all the stars aligned, like we were meant to postpone our wedding at the other venue because The Tides was our dream come true. We completely fell in love with the venue and made a decision to move forward right then and there. Tito and his team were so accommodating with us and really executed our vision of our wedding day. Our Maitre D’ Albert was AMAZING! He was so attentive and flexible and made us feel comfortable the entire time. The Tides is one of the most beautiful venues around. From the second I turned into the drive for the Tides and saw the cobblestone road I was hooked. The venue inside is absolutely gorgeous and the chandelier in the main lobby is stunning. The main ballroom has beautiful high ceilings which bring so much volume to the room! After our initial tour, I was ready to sign. When we first booked the Tides we were working with Tom. He was very kind and definitely helped us ensure everything we wanted for our big day. When we had to postpone it in 2020, Tom left and we started to work with Michael. Michael is wonderful to work with as well. He cares and is willing to answer any question that is thrown his way. He is willing to meet at any time and he accommodates the bride and groom's needs. When our day at the Tides finally arrived we were greeted by Michael and Michael the maitre'd as we got off the limo. We were welcomed into the Tides and they were genuinely so happy we finally got our day at the venue. Michael, the maitre’d was phenomenal. Anything we asked he did for us. He would bring us drinks, water, food for us without even asking. He helped me package all the stuff up at the end of the night and store it for an easy pick up the next day. He was such a wonderful person to work with. The Tides was such an amazing venue and I really hope someone I know gets married there so I can go back as a guest because the food was amazing, the venue was gorgeous, and it was truly the best day of our lives.

I can’t even begin to describe how much I loved having my wedding at the Tides! Tito was a 10/10 to work with! He gave us an amazing price and was willing to work with us with all this COVID crazyness! He was super attentive to email and answered all my 100000 questions. Mike was our Maître D and he was also a 10/10. He knows what he is doing and he was there for all of our needs the day of the wedding. His service was impeccable! He is a bit intense but I think it’s just the nature of the job and the fact that he is ensuring your event goes without a glitch. But super nice guy and made us feel super special! The Venue is BEAUTIFUL!!! The outdoor ceremony space is amazing and the ballroom is to die for!!! The food is fantastic as well!I can’t wait to be invited to a wedding there so I can experience it as a guest! Haha. I already miss going there!In summary…. Have your wedding at the Tides.

The front desk receptionist Leyla was just phenomenal, she took beautiful pictures of my family and I and informed us of everything that we needed to know. She was a such a pleasure. We are so happy we were able to have our wedding at The Tides in November 2020. Our wedding was originally scheduled for April 2020, and we had to move our date a few times due to COVID. The staff was a delight to work with throughout the entire process. They were very accommodating, and we were finally able to have our wedding in November with a smaller guest count as required by the state. They took all precautions cleaning the venue, staff wearing masks and gloves, plastic shields for the bars and food displays, hand sanitizer stations, etc. Our wedding was in The Manchester room downstairs, and it was absolutely beautiful. We had our ceremony and reception at The Tides, and I also got ready in the bridal suite with my bridal party. Having everything in one place like The Tides provided made the day so much less stressful since we did not need to worry about transportation. Our guests are STILL raving about the food! I am a bit of a foodie, and sometimes you never know what you are going to get with large quantities of wedding food. The cocktail hour was over the top with so much tasty food, and the dinner was even better! I was also pleasantly surprised by how moist and delicious the cake was that was provided by David’s next door. A special thank you to Michael our banquet manager, Tito, and Dianne for making our wedding unforgettable!

The venue itself is very beautiful and elegant with a gorgeous garden in the back where our ceremony took place. Tito helped us throughout the entire process of planning and on the day, our maître d, Steve was the best. He made sure everything was going well and that my husband and I were well fed and well taken care of! They really care about their clients. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding day. Great staff, great food, great drinks, beautiful venue. Got lots of compliments saying the venue looked like it came out of a movie. Also not to mention that they made sure that all of my favors and extras were set up. Not one single detail was forgotten or left out. I would pick the tides all over again if I had to!

After seeing so many other venue’s and comparing, there was something about The Tides that felt right. The staff was so welcoming and nice specially Tom he was the best and really took care of us. Place is beautiful along with the landscaping outside, which was amazing for photos. It’s very nice away from the main highways it’s on a quiet road which is why I also liked it so much. But most of all the food... was delicious. Definitely would recommend this place for a wedding or any kind of big event anyone has.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Tides Estates. The wait staff and bartenders were amazing. The manager was horrible! From the time we sat down at the beginning of the reception you can smell something burning from a certain area. It was complained about on 4 different occasions throughout the reception until there was an electrical fire. I lost an hour of my wedding! I understand that these things can happen. What I don’t understand is how the manager dealt with it. He ran over with a fire extinguisher(which he didnt know how to use) and put it out. Fine. He didn’t eveacuate the building. I ran around in my wedding dress telling everyone to get out. There was a fire! Behind a wall! He then proceeded to tell everyone to come back inside to continue the reception! He was willing to put everyone’s life at risk. No one knows what’s going on behind that wall! It could go up in flames again! After 15 mins of waiting for the fire department to come I found out no one called the fire department (they called an electrician), so I called them. They got there and asked why it wasn’t evacuated! To make things worse there was a wedding going on downstairs that probably had no idea what was going on. I lost an hour of my wedding reception and they did nothing to compensate me! They are all about business and money and as long as they get that they don’t care about the people they are serving. I’m happy no one was hurt and it could have been a lot worse but I would not use them!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Tides Estates. The wait staff and bartenders were amazing. The manager was horrible! From the time we sat down at the beginning of the reception you can smell something burning from a certain area. It was complained about on 4 different occasions throughout the reception until there was an electrical fire. I lost an hour of my wedding! I understand that these things can happen. My daughter got married at the Tides in December 2017. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The first time we walked into this venue we knew that this was it. We saw many other places after visiting Tides but the beauty and simplicity of this place stayed with us. The entire place is understated elegance. The thing that truly impressed us was the seamless flow from entrance to cocktail area to main banquet hall. We had close to 320 guests and the place didn't feel crowded at anytime. The cocktail area spans over three separate areas, one is outdoor but covered with space heaters so very much usable even in cold weather. The main banquet hall wows with its 30 foot ceiling, beautiful hardwood floors and the winding staircase. We had Mike as the Maitre'D and he was truly amazing. Helping every step of the way and always available. Tom was our catering manager and he was also very helpful, just not very responsive over email but nevertheless got back to us every single time we had a question. Our catering was done by an outside caterer so cannot comment on their food, everything else was impeccable. A truly five star experience.

I really don't even know where to begin with praising The Tides Estate ... we got married there in September 2017 and it was absolutely magical!My husband and I looked at 9 different venues after we got engaged, and when we walked into the Tides, our jaws actually dropped. The Ballroom, Cocktail Room and Grounds are incredibly impressive. The Ballroom is GORGEOUS and really unlike anything else I've seen, with high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and a HUGE dance floor - which was a BIG selling point for us. The Cocktail Room is so spacious with plenty of seating and tables, and the Grounds were the perfect place to hold a reception and take photos. We recently got our pictures back, and the The Tides' Grounds served as a beautiful backdrop. Our guests RAVED about the venue and really felt that it was breathtaking.It was such a pleasure working with Tito throughout our whole wedding planning process. He is incredibly personable, and always got back to us with any questions or requests we had - we are going to miss him!! Mike was our Matire'D for the day/night, and waited on us and our families hand and foot - he really helped make the day seamless! In addition, the whole Tides staff were absolute professionals. We brought in A LOT of decorations and inventory, and everything was set-up perfectly!Last but definitely not least ... THE FOOD!! Not only is the Cocktail Hour Spread massive (and delicious), but we had many guests come up to us afterwards telling us that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We really enjoyed the Tasting process leading up to the wedding as well. We got married on a Friday night, and it was in the same price range or LESS compared to other venue contenders we looked at. We really feel that we stumbled upon a pot of gold by choosing the Tides as our venue. It is a beautiful place, and we truly had the wedding of our dreams.

I just booked my wedding at The Tides Estate and I could not be more pleased. My wedding is in 2019 so I have a lot of time however I am a huge fan of reviews so thought I would share my experience thus far. Tom is fantastic!!! My fiancé and I initially went in to tour the location 3 weeks ago. Tom answered all of our questions and on BOTH occasions went out of his way to be sure all my questions were answered. When I asked about lighting and the sound system, he not only told me what I wanted to hear but showed me! On my second visit to make our dp I asked if he had a moment to show me the bridal suite (there was another couple waiting). He seemed surprise that I did not see it during the initial visit and immediately took me up to view and walked me through the entire suite. He didn't rush me or seem bothered. I'm huge on customer service and I must say, so far, so great!! I will also say that the lady at the reception desk was also very pleasant and made us feel very welcome on BOTH occasions. I am looking forward to planning the rest of my wedding with The Tides team!

This venue is stunning; the driveway invites you in, the lobby has a beautiful chandelier and a grand piano, and the grand ballroom’s lighting can be customized to your wedding color(s). The guests raved about the quality and quantity of food at the cocktail hour, dinner, and the venetian hour; they were impressed with the aesthetics of the venue and the exceptional service they received. While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, my husband and I took photos with the bridal party in the garden. I really appreciated how The Tides set up a private cocktail hour in the bridal suite so that we could spend some quality time with the bridal party before making our grand entrance down the ornate spiral staircase in the Grand Ballroom. The number of inclusions make this venue an incredible value: champagne greeting, customized printed menus, white glove service, valet parking, premium open bar, and hand carved ice sculpture to name a few. The banquet manager, Tom Austin, worked with us to plan the details of our wedding reception; he did an amazing job of bringing our vision to life. The Tides made my dreams come true. I wish I could get married there again just so I could relive that day! I do not even know where to begin. We worked with Tom on the arrangements and he really helped put the day together. We moved to California during our engagement so most of our planning was done via e-mail or telephone! He was so patient and really accommodated to our needs. The venue is beautiful and everyone was in awe with the new Grand Ballroom. We got married in the back so the transition from the ceremony to cocktail hour then to the reception was so swift I think everyone complimented on it. From the decorations to the FOOD to the aroma we could not have asked for a better venue to be a King and Queen for a day. Stephen, the maitre'd was amazing!! I could go on and on but the bottom line is, I was beyond satisfied with the Tides Estate. You will not be disappointed, at all!

We worked with Tom on the arrangements and he really helped put the day together. We moved to California during our engagement so most of our planning was done via e-mail or telephone! He was so patient and really accommodated to our needs. The venue is beautiful and everyone was in awe with the new Grand Ballroom. We got married in the back so the transition from the ceremony to cocktail hour then to the reception was so swift I think everyone complimented on it. From the decorations to the FOOD to the aroma we could not have asked for a better venue to be a King and Queen for a day. Stephen, the maitre'd was amazing!! I could go on and on but the bottom line is, I was beyond satisfied with the Tides Estate. You will not be disappointed, at all!

My first impression of the Tides was wow, this is beautiful. We came back a few times – once for the bridal show, which is so very helpful to see the flow of the wedding night and getting to try their amazing food. Most venues do not do this, so this was a plus from the beginning. We also brought our parents so that they could give us their feedback and opinion and needless to say, they were in the same boat as us.During our contract signing Tito was very nice and helped guide us through one of the biggest expenses of our lives we had at that point in time. After that I was a bit disappointed in the timeliness of responses I received from Tito. I had read reviews online that he was so helpful and responded quickly. Every time I emailed him I never got a response and had to email several times just to get a yes or no answer. During the tasting for the final details I felt very rushed. The couple who was there before us got his full attention and a lot better details then we did. It was almost like he was doubled booked and was just focused on the appointments he had during his showing upstairs. Please note when they mention that the escort cards are included, it is just the physical cards. Three nights before the wedding I found this out and my husband had to go back to the Tides to pick up the blank cards and I was left hand writing them out since it was so last minute. Our Maitre D’ Mike was beyond amazing; I even turned to my husband during dinner and asked if we could take him home! We were never left alone and without a drink in our hand. He always made sure we were fine and ate throughout the night. I had many items that needed to be set up at The Tides and he was great in putting everything exactly where I wanted it. All of our guests were in awe of the beauty of the venue and how much food they had to offer that night. The service at each table was terrific. One guest told me that they never ate so much at cocktail hour before. Another guest told me that their steak came out the wrong way and their server came back with four more plates of it just to make sure it was to the specification they wanted.

We found the Tides Estate based on a recommendation from our Matron of Honor who attended a wedding there. We saw about 5 other location in Northern NJ and they were not nearly as beautiful and were more costly. When I saw this place for the first time, I was in love. My husband told me in his mind he was already thinking well she's in love, how am I going to pay for it? We worked with Tom and he made it possible for us to have the most beautiful, elegant wedding we could have ever imagined in the Belmont and Manchester Ballroom. We got married on 9/24/16 at 11:30 am. The grounds were gorgeous. We had out first look photos by the gate. We got married outdoors by the smaller gazeebo and it looked so beautiful. Flowers and greenary all around us. The staff, especially our matr'd Steve, was amazing and accommodating. We felt like celebrities. He made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. We for our rehearsal 2 nights before and had a great time running through everything with him. His team put out everything as requested. The bridal suit was awesome. The food was delicious. We didn't finish our dishes so Steve had packed our food up for us without us even asking. He was never too far from us but in a great way. Time flew by! We were not rushed out afterwards as there wasn't a wedding after ours. We did everything at the Tides from getting ready to pictures to ceremony to reception. Everything was flawless. We highly recommend. We are so grateful that we were able to have our wedding there.

I couldn't imagine my Wife and I getting married at another venue. We worked with GM Tom who was fantastic. Anytime we had a question he was more than happy to help us out. We were able to sit down and have a beautiful tasting with our families so they could try the food, see the venue and experience the top notch service. At our rehearsal we were walked through everything as many times as we needed by Tom and he made sure everyone knew exactly what would happen when and where we needed to be. The morning of our wedding we met our Mater'd Mike. Mike was amazing. I really can't put it another way. He made sure we had everything we needed and more. He always made sure we had whatever we wanted to drink, he made sure we tried all of our delicious appetizers, he made sure we sat down for dinner!! (all of our friends and families were sure we would not have a chance to try our own food but we did and it was delicious!) and of course, Mike walked my wife and I through our Viennese hour before anyone else and made sure we tried all of the delicious desserts before anyone which was very special. Tom asked if we would like to have a private cocktail hour with whoever we wanted and we chose to do that. It was one of the best choices we made. Right after the ceremony we went to the beautiful bridal suite with our parents and bridal party and had drinks from our personal bartender and a sampling of every appetizer. It was the perfect time to take in the moment with our closest families before the reception began. The Tides provides table numbers, seating cards, a golden bird cage for cards, among many other accommodations.We had the most perfect wedding we could ever ask for and we constantly have friends and families raving about the delicious food, beautiful venue and how great of a time they had. My heart was set on having my ceremony outside and two hours before the ceremony it started to pour! Tom asked me what I want to do and said he would do his best to have it outside. Luckily the rain stopped and they worked very hard to make my dream wedding happen. As the bride and groom you are taken care of all night, which was so nice!! I highly recommend The Tides Estate!!

My now husband and I just recently got married at the Tides Estate and I don't usually write reviews but this place deserves the 5 stars given. Our reception was held in the upstairs Grand Ballroom and honestly there is no other word to describe it than incredible, although we have not yet received our professional pictures the ones posted so far are truly stunning. From the second I walked into this venue I knew it was the place I wanted to get married, its absolutely beautiful. The first day I visited I met with Tito, who is honestly incredible to work with, any tedious question you may have will not go unanswered and the second you sit down with him you feel at ease that he knows what he is doing. He goes through at length with you what you can expect, and my wedding day was even more incredible than I could have imagined. From the moment I entered my cocktail hour I was rushed by my guests saying how amazing the place was and how delicious the food was, which there is a TON of food I might add, all that not only tasted incredible but was displayed so beautifully. I know most bride and grooms may not get the chance to eat at their wedding, but if you are lucky enough to get married here, make sure you take the time to eat something because the food was amazing. Tito also is available at any point during the reception should you need anything along with your maître de who is attentive and helpful in making the process seamless. There was one small hiccup where we found only two bartenders on and we said something to Tito and within minutes the third had arrived, our guests never waited long for a drink and my husband and I had drinks in our hands without even asking the entire night. The bridal suite as well is a beautiful place to escape to when you need to step away and just take it all in or fix your make up with the help of your bridesmaids, its simply beautiful. One other thing I would like to mention is the lighting system that is built into the tides really adds an incredible touch, most DJs would charge thousands to have the uplighting we had throughout the night, from different color hues to strobe lights when you want to light up the dance floor it was simply stunning and an awesome touch included in your price instead of paying out of pocket to another vendor. I could go on for hours at how amazing the place was but simply put, if you are looking to get married in the New Jersey area there is no other place to look than here, I was so nervous about the day going perfectly and the second we arrived my nerves were put at ease, we can't thank everyone at the Tides Estate enough for the most perfect day we could have ever imagined, all my guests are still talking about how incredible our wedding was and we are so grateful to have found the Tides, A++ !<3 the smiths <3

He goes through at length with you what you can expect, and my wedding day was even more incredible than I could have imagined. From the moment I entered my cocktail hour I was rushed by my guests saying how amazing the place was and how delicious the food was, which there is a TON of food I might add, all that not only tasted incredible but was displayed so beautifully. I know most bride and grooms may not get the chance to eat at their wedding, but if you are lucky enough to get married here, make sure you take the time to eat something because the food was amazing. Tito also is available at any point during the reception should you need anything along with your maître de who is attentive and helpful in making the process seamless. There was one small hiccup where we found only two bartenders on and we said something to Tito and within minutes the third had arrived, our guests never waited long for a drink and my husband and I had drinks in our hands without even asking the entire night. The bridal suite as well is a beautiful place to escape to when you need to step away and just take it all in or fix your make up with the help of your bridesmaids, its simply beautiful. One other thing I would like to mention is the lighting system that is built into the tides really adds an incredible touch, most DJs would charge thousands to have the uplighting we had throughout the night, from different color hues to strobe lights when you want to light up the dance floor it was simply stunning and an awesome touch included in your price instead of paying out of pocket to another vendor. I could go on for hours at how amazing the place was but simply put, if you are looking to get married in the New Jersey area there is no other place to look than here, I was so nervous about the day going perfectly and the second we arrived my nerves were put at ease, we can't thank everyone at the Tides Estate enough for the most perfect day we could have ever imagined, all my guests are still talking about how incredible our wedding was and we are so grateful to have found the Tides, A++ !<3 the smiths <3

Not only was that day perfection, but management was so flexible with everything and every request we had leading up to the big day. We were able to use it and saved a bundle on the DJ extras. In addition, the musicians bands and DJs sit on a balcony, so no ones ears are being blown out. I recently had my wedding here and it was amazing! The Tides did such a great job of fulfilling everything we imagined and more. We booked the larger ballroom at the beginning of the renovation process and it came out beautiful! So many of our guests complimented us on how great the ballroom looked and how impressed they were with the overall look. We booked with Tom who was great to work with and Mike was our maître d. Tom answered every question we had and was always quick to respond to us. Mike was AMAZING he helped us with our every need the day of the wedding and knew what would look good for pictures. He was very attentive and even our guests said he helped them with anything they needed also! The one thing I kept hearing after our wedding was how amazing the food was! Everyone was so impressed with the variety and quality of the food- we actually ate the food at our wedding and I can say it was delicious! We also took pictures in the gardens and it is really a beautiful backdrop! Our wedding day so wonderful thanks to The Tides- everything went off without a problem. They do such an amazing job I would definitely recommend this venue!

My husband and I had our wedding at The Tides in September 2015. We must have seen about 25 venues before making our decision and The Tides delivered in every way imaginable. \r\rFirst off, having a venue that is responsive and caring was very important to us. Tom Austin was the banquet manager we dealt with and he was phenomenal. Every question we had in the months leading up to the day - from the food to pictures to vendor recommendations - was answered quickly, honestly, politely and with the singular desire to make sure we were happy. For any matter, once we told Tom what we wanted, he said not to worry and he delivered ten-fold. Additionally, Steve was our Maitre D’ and he listened attentively to all our needs, wants and concerns, and was fantastic to deal with. He made sure we and our families were taken care of and that we found enough time in the day to enjoy the special moments. \r\rThe Tides truly made us feel special and that we were satisfied with every part of the day. For instance, the week of our wedding we dropped off all of our favors, placecards, etc. Tom and Steve stayed late to open up the ballroom for us to practice our wedding dance and pick the exact lighting we wanted for our reception. This put our minds at ease that we now knew we chose the perfect wedding venue. \r\rSecond, The Tides’ grand ballroom is absolutely stunning. It is open, elegant and truly magnificent. The balcony gave us and our bridal party that “celebrity” feeling and the chandeliers gave it a very upscale vibe. The room itself is also very comfortable and allowed guests to walk around and plenty of room to dance on their big dance floor. The room has by far the best sound system we have ever heard in a wedding venue. All our guests would not stop dancing and even requested our band keep playing after the reception was over – our band was fantastic but part of that was due to the fact that no expense was spared in designing the surround sound in that room. Also, the room has a large projection screen that comes down from the ceiling, which you do not need to pay extra for like in other places. We were able to do photo slideshows and were able to project in real-time my father playing a drum solo onto the screen, which was one of the highlights of the night.\r\rThird, this is North Jersey, so when there’s a wedding, the food has to be good and we did not have to worry about The Tides delivering in that regard. We had a champagne toast in the foyer followed by a cocktail hour that had all you could ever want – sushi, seafood tower, carving stations, pizza and pasta stations, etc., and of course an unlimited open bar. Guests certainly didn’t go hungry and left little room for the reception dinner and Viennese Table, which were fantastic as well. \r\rLastly, the grounds and building itself are well-maintained, clean and provided plenty of variety for pictures. We took them in the gardens, in the bridal suite and in the foyer under the breathtaking chandelier. Our guests enjoyed taking pictures as well all over the venue!\r\rMy husband and I wanted to make sure that our day was about love and making sure our guests left the event feeling that as well. The Tides helped us fulfill that wish and many guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! To this day we keep saying how we can’t wait to go to another wedding at The Tides – it truly is a place where all your dreams come true!

It is rare to find an individual who is professional, dedicated and loves what he does. My husband wants to make him his \"best friend\". After we saw the renovations to the place we were completely blown away. It did not stop there the day of the wedding we were completely satisfied as the food was amazing. Our Maitre D Mike was such a blessing. He made our wedding day so stress free. He made sure all went smoothly and took care of us from beginning to end. There are so many amazing things to say about The Tides! I was just married on July 17, 2015 and I am still on cloud 9 from our wedding day. Everyone keeps calling us saying how it was the best wedding they have ever gone to!! I don't even know where to start. My now husband and I visited multiple venues for our wedding and as soon as we walked into The Tides and met Tito we knew it was the right place for us. Tito made us feel right at home and it was clear that he was passionate about his job and truly believed in the venue. He listened attentively to all of our needs, wants, and concerns, and addressed them all with a friendly and professional manner. From the moment I stepped out of the limo on our wedding day I was greeted by the Maitre D', Stephen, and from that moment on he never stopped waiting on us. Our personal service was phenomenal and we honestly felt like royalty. My husband, who arrived at the venue for pictures earlier in the day, also could not stop raving about the amount of personalized attentiveness he received from the very first minute until the last. As soon as the guests valet parked their cars they walked in and were handed drinks while they waited in the breathtaking lobby until it was ready for ceremony. We got married onsite at The Tides and the grounds are simply magnificent. It is an intimate feel which still holds the grandeur of gardens with fresh green grass and flowers beautifully landscaped across the property. Following ceremony was cocktail hour and all our guests raved about the amount of and quality of the selections and food. I can promise you your guests will never be hungry!! We got married in the Manchester Room, which is the smaller room downstairs. You would never know that you were downstairs because the cocktail hour space is beautifully done and very spacious with both indoor seating and an outdoor patio. Everything was executed to perfection! Reception went off without a hitch! Every single little detail was put in place exactly how I wanted it and it honestly felt like living a dream. There was not one moment in the day where I did not feel taken care of. The staff and service was phenomenal, bartenders were quick and made our specialty drinks even better than we make them ourselves, food was absolutely delicious, and most importantly everyone was having a fantastic time!! It was, in one short word, perfect and we had a blast! If you are looking for a venue that truly has it all; The Tides is your best bet! I can assure you, you will not be disappointed and it is simply incredible!!

Our wedding was at The Tides Estate almost 3 weeks ago. We could not have been more pleased with our wedding and the wedding process. We booked in January of 2015 and only had 5 months to get things in order. Tito was absolutely professional, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Being a complete type A organized person myself-my wedding day was exactly as I had hoped-zero worries and stress free. We had such a blast and everything was so beautiful. We were supposed to have our ceremony outside and it rained-so last minute they rearranged the ceremony for indoors.I'm sure the garden would have been amazing but It was so wonderful that it didn't even bother us. Everyone says the food was amazing (we hardly ate-our own fault-we were having too much fun with everyone!! But no regrets!)Our maitre D Mike went above and beyond. (he did encourage us to eat more!! You were right mike!!) Words can't express how amazing he was-and EVERYONE noticed-I quickly realized that I had NOTHING to stress about and we fully enjoyed our day! I appreciate even the tiny details of Mike covering my dress with a napkin so I can have a red wine with no accidental spills or running into the rain so my lanterns could be a surprise inside for me-and Tito even letting me hide out in the managers office so my groom wouldn't see me when the rain chased us inside! A big thanks again to Tito and Mike and the rest of their wonderful staff-and to Hailey who I called way too many times the last couple days and who helped me with my beautiful invitations!! When we peeked into the ballroom that morning before we said \"I Do\" and saw all the little details in place, I couldn't believe how perfectly my vision came to life. Tito, our banquet manager, was absolutely a pleasure to work with. He ensured everything went smoothly all night long, he maintained excellent communication with us throughout the entire planning process, and worked with us to provide a delicious variety of foods that blended our families' different cultures. Mike, the maitre'd, ensured my groom and I, and all our guests were well taken care of throughout the entire evening, replenishing drinks, orchestrating the flow of the evening's events, and any other request or need that arose, he was on top of it all. I walked down the aisle that evening with not an ounce of anxiety or worry, because I was confident that Tito and Mike had everything covered. My wedding day was just perfect! The venue was absolutely beautiful. All my friends and family enjoyed every bit of it, they raved about how beautiful the venue was and the food as well! The food just kept on coming. Tito was wonderful! He was always there to answer any questions, I really didn't have to worry about a thing throughout the whole planning process and Mike our Maitre D was just amazing! Was always around to make sure we had a drink in our hands and made sure that my husband and I were okay. The service was great all around! i just had my wedding at The Tides in September. It was the best day of my life! The venue itself is GORGEOUS and the people are so friendly and help you out so much! They just made a new room there, it is amazing, beautiful & so big its great! the food is AMAZING! you get so much food and it is so delicious!! They are so flexible they let you choose when to come to get ready at the venue, let you choose rehearsal, you get to pick your menu desserts drinks and cake! the cake we had was so good! it was a dream come true!! thank you so much! it is a day we will never forget!!!!

I recently had my wedding at the Tides and I would tell every couple to go there. They took care of us from start to finish. Tito treated us like family throughout the entire process. The MD, Steven was extremely attentive to everyone in my party. My Mother went up to the bar and he said \"You don't have to get up, go have a seat and I'll bring you your drink\". I was standing on the side of the dance floor and he walked up and handed me a glass of water, without ever being asked. Before I walked down to the aisle with my parents, he ran and got my Dad some tissues. He was on top of EVERYTHING! \r\rAll of the appetizers were available in the Bridal Suite and they were delicious. All of my guests raved about the cocktail hour and the dinner. I heard many comments from different guests about the friendly wait staff and the beauty of the venue (outside and inside). \r\rWithout a doubt have your wedding here!!
