Amy and Jen were INCREDIBLE to work with! They provided a sense of calm during stressful moments of wedding planning and instilled confidence that they would implement all of our details perfectly. The Tirrell room is beautiful and provided tons of room for our 150 person wedding. Our guests raved about the taste and quantity of food as well as the efficiency of the bar & wait staff. Amy and Jen were always responsive to texts and emails and gave us guidance based on our wants/needs, never pressuring us to make any decisions based on money. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

I am so incredibly happy we decided to choose The Tirrell room for our wedding this past April. Amy was absolutely fabulous to work with and answered ALL of my questions, even if it were 10 o’clock at night she would answer my texts right away. She was so on top of everything and made the wedding planning process SO easy and anxiety free, which means a lot because I’m typically an anxious person!! The venue is so beautiful and spacious. I love that there are 2 bars & the gazebo for photo ops. The big field outside was perfect for photos as well. My guests RAVED about how delicious the food was and they really loved the family style option we went for! Overall our experience was 10/10 and I highly recommend this place for a wedding!!

Jenn made planning everything for the wedding so easy! She was so responsive and helpful, and answered every little question. Everything was perfect and everyone talked about how great the evening was. It is a beautiful spot and everyone said how awesome the venue looked and how great the food was! Would 10/10 recommend using the Tirrell Room!

The Tirrell Room was the first venue that we visited when looking to plan our wedding. We immediately fell in love with both the indoor and outdoor space and our wedding coordinator, Amy Barrett. We proceeded to look at a few other venues as a due diligence, but every time we toured them, we kept comparing them back to The Tirrell Room and nothing matched the beauty of the space and Amy's passion. Our engagement was 2.5 years and we were with The Tirrell Room and Amy for two of them. Wedding planning is a long and tireless process and while we knew Amy had many other clients, she made us feel like we were her only ones, always able to call, text or email about any questions we had. She worked diligently to give us our ideal wedding within our budget. The entire staff on our wedding day was amazing when it came to decorating the event space and making sure everyone always had food on their plates. The food is delicious and the venue comes fully stocked with TWO bars so guests never had to wait long for a drink. We always told Amy we were going to be sad when it was all over because we would miss talking to her on a regular basis, but we've also decided that for any big celebration we have in the future, The Tirrell Room will be our choice!

If you are looking for an accommodating staff, delicious food, a wide range bar, and a beautiful setting look no further than the Tirrell Room! My husband and I had our wedding here and Amy and Jen made the entire planning process so easy! They truly cared and wanted us to have the perfect day which made the entire process feel like we were working with friends! We went with their \"Wedding Package\" and that choice took so much stress out of planning our big day since so many vendors were included right in the package. There is not one thing we would change about our big day and so much of that is thanks to everyone at the Tirrell Room!

BEST WEDDING EVER. Is a phrase I have heard when seeing friends and family still a month after our wedding! If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Boston area this is your place! The Tirrell room and Amy are truly a blessing and gift to brides. Amy made every step along the way in planning our day easy and stress free. On the day of our wedding she made sure our event went smooth and kept all of our timelines on point with no pressure at any moment! She made sure the groom and I were laughing, smiling and eating at every right moment! Amy’s support, care, and true attention to details made our wedding unforgettable.In addition to an amazing staff and team the Tirrell Room offers a beautiful scenery with a breathtaking sunset! I honestly felt like my wedding was straight out of a fairytale from start to finish.Our guests both locally and from out of town have not been able to stop talking about our wedding. From the views, food, and environment it was a beautiful night for all. We highly recommend the Tirrell Room for your upcoming event!

Amy and all of the staff at The Tirrell Room were so wonderful to work with! Amy made the day of and the weeks leading up to the Big Day so much fun and stress free. I even got a \"happy Wedding Day\" text from her the morning of, which I though was so so sweet. They really make you feel like family there. If could give them 10 stars I would. Everything from the food (which was delicious), to the decorations, to the flow of the evening was perfect. We couldn't have asked for better.

I can't say enough about the The Tirrell Room! We had to do a 180 for our destination wedding due to Covid and we only had 3 months to plan our wedding. Amy is a fairy godmother for brides, particularly ones that had to plan during Covid. She was so amazing to work with. She responded to every text, phone call and email immediately and helped me navigate finding two vendors that cancelled on us two weeks before our wedding! Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined and all of our guests spoke so highly of the staff on how attentive, professional and kind they were. Every time you turned around there was a staff member asking if we needed anything throughout the whole night. This is the perfect place for a wedding and the sunset pictures are gorgeous!!!

There are simply no words to explain how amazingly wonderful my wedding was at The Tirrell Room. It is such a beautiful venue, both inside and outside, and Amy made the wedding planning experience so much fun. My original wedding date was 5/30 and as we got closer and closer to the date during COVID, Amy kept working with us to keep us calm and updating us on our options. When Aug 8 became available after a cancellation, we hopped on it, hoping for the best given the situation. We did not want to postpone our wedding until 2021, and the Tirrell Room stuck by us, offering to help in any way they could. When our rehearsal dinner venue cancelled three weeks before our wedding because of COVID, we talked to Amy about potentially hosting the dinner there and she not only made it happen but she made the outdoor space look different than the wedding day despite using the same outdoor tents and tables. I love Amy so much; she is absolutely the best. We managed to pull off a beautiful wedding all outside in the massive, gorgeous patio and field, including the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner while abiding by state and federal regulations. To top off such a beautiful day, it has been three weeks since our wedding and we can confirm it was a COVID-free wedding! All the guests raved about how fun and beautiful the wedding was, how great the food was, and how well the venue staff treated them. Amy went around asking people if they were having a good time or if they needed anything, such amazing service. I have no idea how she did it because she was constantly checking in on me and my new hubby during the night at the perfect level of service. I honestly can’t say enough about everyone at the Tirrell Room, between the beautiful venue, amazing staff, and very reasonable prices and flexibility to make the wedding uniquely mine, it was the perfect place to get married. Thinking about how much Amy helped us plan our wedding in such uncertain times and made it as perfect as it turned out to be brings tears to my eyes. I want to do my wedding all over again to relive just how wonderful it was and to keep hanging out with Amy. It was an absolute success that simply would not have happened without Amy and the Tirrell Room working with us and keeping in mind that our wedding was one of the most important days of our lives, even though a global pandemic.

My husband and I had searched for wedding venues for a few weeks, and the only one we had wanted to make a second viewing at was the Tirrell Room. The room and view are beautiful and the food is delicious. My guests told me for weeks after how great the food was! We worked with Jen, and she was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. I had a lot of questions, wants and needs and Jen was always there to make sure that I felt heard and she made me feel better about my requests. I did a lot of DIY decorations and Jen made sure that my vision was met that day. She also made sure that my husband and I always had something to eat and a drink in our hand throughout the night. I would NOT have changed one thing about that day, and I could not thank Jen and the Tirrell Room staff enough for all that they did to make my wedding day special!

I really don't where to start! Jen and Amy are both unbelievably awesome! From the first day that I visited The Tirrell Room to the day of my wedding (a little over a year), they were with me every step of the way to answer any questions and accommodate any requests we had. I spoke mostly with Jen. She was very easy to get ahold of, and like I mentioned, very willing to accommodate anything we needed. She made it clear that our wedding was our day and she wanted everything to be exactly how we wanted it. We did many of the florals, dessert pieces, and other decor items ourself. We were a little worried that no one would be around the morning of the wedding to set them up for us, but Jen set it all up for us!! We dropped everything off the week of and told her how we wanted them displayed and she followed it perfectly! From other brides and vendors I have spoken too, it's not often that you'll come across a venue coordinator who is willing to do things like that. In fact, many of the outside vendors that I used told me that they love weddings at The Tirrell Room because Jen and Amy are so easy to deal with. Another bonus was the food! In my opinion, you don't go to a wedding hoping the food is really good. In most cases, it's decent, but nothing too special. I chose the prime rib and baked stuffed chicken for our wedding and so many of our guests made a point to tell us how good the food was. The hors d'oeuvres were excellent, too! Even the next day when I arrived at the venue to pick up our stuff from the night before, Jen and Amy had put everything neatly together for us. I really cannot say enough great things about this place. We had 296 guests at our wedding and there was plenty of room for dancing, eating, and socializing. The venue is beyond beautiful. The outdoor cocktail area overlooks Blue Hills and the sky turns a gorgeous color during sunset. Unfortunately, my wedding was during a nor'Easter, so we were not able to take advantage of that, but we still had a blast and everyone still had so much fun. I highly, highly recommend The Tirrell Room for any type of function - wedding, showers, parties, ect - you won't once be disappointed or second guessing yourself!

The Tirrell Room lived up to everything we had heard about the venue – and more! The venue, food, and service exceeded all expectations. The staff and service were beyond amazing and the grounds are just beautiful. Due to the weather, the outdoor cocktail party had to be held inside and it was carried out as though that was the original plan all along! I truly cannot say enough about Jenn (and the entire staff) who were all so accommodating and easy to work with and executed everything perfectly. I highly recommend the Tirrell Room!

I just had my wedding this past weekend at the Tirrell Room and it was an absolutely beautiful time. All of the staff we worked with, especially Amy and Jen, were so nice and accommodating and helped us have an amazing time. Everyone keeps telling us how gorgeous the reception space was and how delicious every single bit of the food we got was! My husband and I are so happy we chose such a fantastic venue to have our special day!

I don't even know where to begin in writing this review. The wedding that I was able to have at the Tirrell Room exceeded all expectations and really made my dreams come true. The venue was stunning, the food was incredible, but the staff was really what blew me away the most. Jenn is the most incredible person and wedding coordinator you will ever come across. From the very beginning we had a clear estimate of prices that made planning and budgeting so much easier. In the year and a half planning process she supported me through every step of the way. She always responded quickly to emails and answered every question that popped into my nervous head. For the day of the wedding she executed all of the planning flawlessly and made my husband, my family and myself feel like royalty. All the other staff members were also incredible... bartenders, wait staff and the chefs. Amy... you felt like a family member watching out for me every step of the way. I can't thank you all enough and I can't recommend the Tirrell Room more. Stop looking, you've found the venue of your dreams!

My husband and I got married here on a Friday in August and it went perfectly -- better than we even imagined. It seriously felt like a dream, and we are so grateful to everyone at the Tirrell Room for everything they did to make our family and friends so comfortable. Everyone could not stop raving about what a beautiful space it is, how great the food was, and how helpful and professional the whole staff were.\r\rThe Tirrell Room had everything we were looking for: outdoor space with seating for the ceremony (and during the cocktail hour, they brought out high-top tables so people could hang out and watch the sunset), a huge room for the reception (it has a perfect-sized dance floor and 2 bars --- we had about 120 guests but it could fit up to 300 for seated dinner), great food and very reasonable prices for the Boston area. There is a huge free parking lot for guests who are driving, and we had out-of-town guests stay at the nearby Marriott (like 2.5 miles away).\r\rFor the food, they do a big tasting where you can try everything on the menu. It was a really fun part of the planning process. Since the wedding, so many of our family and friends have brought up how much they enjoyed the dinner. Great appetizers and entrees, especially the beef tenderloin.\r\rBut the best part about the Tirrell Room is seriously the staff. Everyone was so great to us, but I especially have to mention Jen, who worked with us throughout the entire planning process. She was absolutely incredible. She instantly made us feel comfortable from the first time we went to look at the space, and was so helpful and responsive to all of our questions. Her upbeat and flexible attitude made us feel so confident and calm every step of the process, right up to the night of the wedding where she made sure everything stayed perfectly on track. It may sound like I'm going overboard with the raving, but trust me that if you're lucky enough to get to work with her, you'll see exactly what I mean.\r\rI've heard this place referred to as a \"hidden gem\" but I doubt it'll be that way for long. Couldn't recommend it more.

I did the wedding package offered by the Tirrell Room and had both my ceremony and reception there. Maryanne is the coordinator and she is just awesome to work with. Not only was the wedding beautiful but all the planning in the months before was minimal stress mainly thanks to Maryanne. Many of the guests that attended my wedding made sure to tell me how beautiful everything was and what a great time they had. I totally agree, food was terrific as well as wait staff. . Great place to get married and or have a reception

Cary really saved the day for this review. The original event planner that was assigned to us was untimely in returning messages, triple booked the venue during the rehearsal dinner, and actually used the phrase \"That's not my job.\" When talking about displaying my DIY projects around the reception room and at their out door gazebo. \rI also had to call to find out when there would be a food tasting (and come to find out, there was one the next week), she reached out to me just 7 days before the wedding to find out what our final menu and headcount would be. \rCary called and seemed very surprised that they didn't have more info about my event. She made sure at the rehearsal to ensure me that she would be in charge the day of the event and she'd make sure everything was perfect. And she absolutely did. The room was gorgeous. The person that I did end up hiring to help prep the decorations couldn't say enough about her. \r\rAs a new bride I didn't know the first thing about timelines and needed more guidance. I'd absolutely refer this function hall, as long as you also have an event planner to help connect the dots and deal with the headaches associated with a weak manager.

Worst experience of my life, and I felt the representative was Homophobic too!!! My Fiancé who is a female and I (female) had a 1PM appointment to see the grounds today 8/20/12, we were very excited because it was the first place we chose to view for our wedding/reception. The excitement went from 100 to 0 from the minute we met Marianne. She had a cut throat attitude and quickly took us around the grounds, gave us the paperwork and shoved us out the door. The entire appointment took 10min with no real explanations about anything. We felt rushed and were told if we had questions to call her. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will not give them a penny after the experience we had today.

While we initially were thinking of having our June wedding on Cape Cod, my fiance and I wanted to make it easier for our guests to attend, by staying a bit more local. I have been to a number of functions at The Tirrell Room, and not only has the food been exceptional each time, the room and the grounds are simply lovely! It's spacious, updated, and has gorgeous views. Plus, unlike some other wedding venues (that I have been to), the drinks aren't outrageously priced. This was also a nice consideration for our guests. So, instead of a Cape Cod wedding, I chose to do my Cape Cod theme right here in Quincy! It was perfect!

The Tirrell Room in Quincy is a beautiful location for any event. The service and staff was wonderful! Marianne & Carey were both such a big help in planning our special day. Book in advance because the dates fillup fast. The wedding package was perfect and included everything. They had a few DJs to pick from and Mike Tucker was amazing! From what I had the food was great. The grounds made beautiful photos. Since they renovated this place is amazing. All the windows really make for a nice backdrop and is very unique from most ballrooms. I wasn't very impressed with the limo company they had in the package. And for hotel rooms do not go to the Hampton Inn Braintree really bad service. Pick the Marriott or Holiday Inn Express. You will definately be happy hosting your wedding or any event at the Tirrell Room. Thank you Carey & Marianne!

The Tirrell Room was nothing short of AMAZING! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful - floor to ceiling windows looking out over the blue hills. The food was spectacular. The Service - PERFECT! They know exactly what they are doing. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue. DEFINITLEY a 5 Star!

The Tirrell Room was a perfect location for our afternoon wedding. It is surrounded with windows over looking The Blue Hills. It was recently re-done and is bright and gorgeous. \rFrom the second I walked in, we were waited on hand and foot. There was a woman with me all day making sure I wasn't in need of anything. \rEveryone said the food was excellent.

I loved the Tirrell Room! I had my ceremony and reception there. The weather was perfect and the outdoor ceremony was beautiful. There is nothing I would have changed. The food was excellent, we decided on a package deal with The Tirrell Room and everything was easy!

What a beautiful venue for a wedding! We had both our ceremony and reception here. I would have given them a A+ but at the ceremony they did not have enough chairs and some of my guests had to stand. If I had known that I would have rented more chairs.\rThe reception was beautiful! Food was amazing and the staff 100% professional! It was so smooth working w. Carey and Maryanne. They were with us 100% of the way. Would def recommend to any bride to check them out!!
