The Trolley Station at 2021 Strand on Galveston Island is know for being the largest private venue on Galveston Island. The Trolley Station provides a huge Ball Room, a Grand Elegant Atrium, The La Fitte Room for cocktail hour, a large Stage in the Ball Room for Bands, a Beautiful Balcony over looking the Historical Stand District. a Private Brides Room, tables and chairs, a caterer's kitchen, a conversation area with sofa's and a bar. It's a must see wedding venue. The J.D. Rogers Building was constructed in 1894 by well-known Galveston businessman John D. Rogers. Mr. Rogers was noted for his various business enterprises and his many contributions to the community. Today the Trolley Station is know for the old world charm that The Strand District brings to any wedding.

The Trolley Station is a gorgeous hidden gem for any couples wanting a Galveston wedding! So many of our guests have commented how much they loved this venue. It's very spacious and captures the essence of The Strand so well, especially the balcony which gives a priceless view. For all that you get, I think the price is very reasonable! Judy was also extremely helpful right up to the day-of. If you're looking for a caterer, I would also recommend Chopin Mon Ami since they partner with this venue. Thanks for everything Judy and Todd!!!

The Trolley Station was the most perfect wedding venue! My daughter and son in law had their reception there, and we could not have asked for a more beautiful, fun place. All of the guests kept saying what a great place it was. Judy, who manages the Trolley Station, was great to work with and helped us so much!
