The Union Exchange is a gorgeous wedding venue and farm located in Monroe, NC. This stunning 100-year-old farm and event space is the brainchild of The Brown Family, who dreamed of having their own family business where they can create lifelong memories together in the great outdoors. With bold ambitions in one hand and a toolbox in the other, they worked together to restore the natural beauty of the land making it the perfect countryside setting to say "I do." The Union Exchange is a rustic-style venue that expands over 54 acres of North Carolina farm land encompassing an indigenous pine tree forest and 3.5 acres of scenic ponds. Featuring an abundance of restored historic structures and with a capacity of 150 guests, you and your sweetheart are sure to find the perfect locale to bring your vision to life! Kickstart your dreamy wedding weekend with our onsite accommodations including two private houses and glamping cabins. Spend the morning getting ready in the stunning Homestead House while exploring the land and a host of amenities. Gather your loved ones for your picturesque ceremony on the sprawling event lawn with luminous fountain views or in the breathtakingly magical pine tree forest. Mingle with your guests for an entertaining post-ceremony cocktail hour at the open-air bar, Splinters, while enjoying your selection of local beer and wine. As the party atmosphere fills the air, you and your guests can retreat to The Auction Barn, the farm’s historic flagship structure combining vintage craftsmanship and elegance with high ceilings, cedar walls, and marbled concrete floors. The union exchange is an absolutely amazing place to have your wedding! The property is gorgeous. The Airbnb's that come with the property are also very nice as well. Kelly and her family really know how to truly make you feel welcomed and loved throughout the whole wedding process. I enjoyed every minute of having my wedding here. I would 100% recommend this venue to anybody!

The UE was everything we looked for and could have dreamed of. So many different locations on the farm to choose from for a ceremony. They work together with you to meet all of your needs. The setting is phenomenal and such a variety of of settings to choose from all within one place. They provide on site housing for some of your guests from out of town which is incredible. This family run company truly cares about your big day and wants everything to go perfectly and works hard to do so. They are a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a venue that is ADA accessible, rest full of event/wedding needs, will go the extra mile to make your big day everything you dreamed it would be.

Looking to get married near the Charlotte area? The Union Exchange should be your only choice. The venue is stunning and it offers breathtaking sceneries. That is not the best part though. Kelly and team are incredible. They were there every step of the way and made sure our day was perfect. From answering our many questions at the drop of the hat, to driving us around the property in the golf cart, the staff is superior. It's hard to put in words how much we appreciate what the staff did for us.

The Union Exchange is an absolute dream! It’s got the small town, family oriented, classic feel that was perfect for my micro wedding. Every staff member I encountered were so polite, thoughtful and helpful! All of my questions were answered in a timely manner and staff continued to check in to make sure everything was going well. The venue is spacious which provided me with multiple options for the ceremony of my choice and even more options for pictures after my ceremony. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is looking for a venue in the area.
