We were told numerous times by our guests that this was the best wedding they had attended in large part due to the venue and how you can move throughout it as your day progresses, from a ceremony on the lawn, to cocktail hour in the courtyard and enjoying dinner in the banquet hall. We had an amazing wedding at CWF - our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it is. Everything was so seamless and flowed amazingly. Highly recommend the photo booth - it was a huge hit. Crooked Willow will forever have our hearts! Their attention to detail and dedication to making our day as smooth as possible really won us over, along with the amazing views.We got married in July 2023 while the flowers were really blooming and the weather was partially rainy but sunny for our ceremony/reception. I would have gotten married any month of the year here though. It was beautiful when we toured it even in February! They have a back up ceremony space in case it's pouring on your day, a special room for kids, a BEAUTIFUL bridal suite and grooms suite and such a fun space for the bar to sit in (the alcoves behind the courtyard). We also loved that our dance floor was outside in the courtyard too (weather permitting). I had countless people come up to me telling me it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. And it wasn't because of anything I did! This venue really speaks for itself. You don't have to do much for a beautiful wedding here! If you're on the fence, just book a tour. You'll be sold quickly ;)

Working with Crooked Willow Farms as our wedding venue was a dream. The staff is professional and organized (and prepared to accommodate for weather!). The bridal and groom suites are designed perfectly for getting ready for the wedding is available earlier in the day. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception locations flow seamlessly, and leave enough open space for guests that need fresh air or want a space to just chat (but it’s also easy to fill the dance floor!). Overall, I would 100% rebook Crooked Willow Farms if I could do it all over again!

Not only is the Carriage House awash in natural light, Lola's loft makes for the ideal weather back-up while the entire property exuding a refined rustic Colorado charm. The getting ready spaces are spacious and comfortable; the groomsmen were so comfortable and relaxed all morning while the bridal party had everything we could need at our fingertips. The team at Crooked Willow, Kim and Sara specifically, made the planning process easy and fun with flexibility and creative options at every turn. To start, the staff is absolutely amazing and will go way above and beyond to make sure every little detail is perfect and helped us customize a few things to make it personal. Kim and Brittany were wonderful to work with and in the end, we felt like they were part of the family. We live in NYC but I am from Colorado. When I saw this venue my heart melted. It was the most gorgeous setting, perfectly manicured, every room is more beautiful than the next. It is rustic but modern, intimate and unique. My guests are still talking about this venue as the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. It was the perfect setting for the day of our dreams! This venue was absolutely amazing! They hosted my daughter’s wedding and the grounds, the barns and the reception ball room were stunning. The staff is delightful and they even gave the newlyweds a fabulous gift of engraved wine glasses. A treasured keepsake for sure. The flowers and fall colors were gorgeous and displayed all over the venue. The kids remarked that it was the best party they have ever attended. The venue is perfect. Just perfect.

Truly an amazing venue that we were lucky enough to book for our wedding!! After visiting a few venues, we decided on Crooked Willow because of the amazing views and landscaping that surrounded the reception and ceremony areas. It will cost you a pretty penny; but honestly, what wedding venue in CO doesn’t make you gasp when you see the price?! Trust me, even though it is expensive, you will not regret your choice. I had people complimenting the venue all night, saying how beautiful it was. And the best part about this venue is I never had to stress about rain on my wedding day, because I knew there was a beautiful indoor ceremony space that we could transfer to quickly and simply. All in all, this is a breathtaking venue; and if it is in your budget, I highly recommend it :)

So happy we had our wedding at Crooked willow. Guests raved about the venue. It’s so nice to have to worry so little about the venue. It’s naturally stunning, the staff are awesome. We did have to get private transportation since the advertised hotel and shuttle was booked so slightly more expensive than anticipated but worth every penny. Numerous people commented on how they wanted to personally get married there or have a family member get married there and that it was the most beautiful venue they had been to! Very pleased with our experience!!

It was also so nice to have the amenities we did for getting ready - the guys suite and outdoor game area provided plenty to do before getting suited up and the girls suite had the perfect setup for hair and makeup! Kim and Brittany don't just value their business. They value the people they get to work with and therefore, memories aren't the only thing created when planning your wedding at Crooked Willow Farms; relationships are born and we couldn't be more grateful for our relationship with them. Pick this venue! We toured it in the winter and knew it would be stunning but our wedding in July was even more magical than we could have imagined. The beautiful red barn, mountain backdrop, and stunning backup space should it rain makes this venue so special. The team was also phenomenal and made our day stress-free. Highly recommend CWF if you are looking for a venue outside Denver but not too far in the mountains.

Pick this venue! We toured it in the winter and knew it would be stunning but our wedding in July was even more magical than we could have imagined. The beautiful red barn, mountain backdrop, and stunning backup space should it rain makes this venue so special. The team was also phenomenal and made our day stress-free. Highly recommend CWF if you are looking for a venue outside Denver but not too far in the mountains.

Not only did the venue take my breath away, working with the team was an amazing experience. Every time I contacted the team with another family member in town who wanted to see the venue, Kim always immediately got me in for a tour. The whole property is absolutely stunning and there are so many different areas to use for the event. From the beautiful lawn to the courtyard, and the ballroom that is attached to the stables that held our photobooth and cigar bar. Our wedding guests could not stop talking about the venue for weeks! Dealing with Crooked Willow was the MOST stressful part of our wedding planning during COVID. We had to move the date due to restrictions and ultimately had to go elsewhere when they could not accommodate our guest count and indicated no dancing, but suggested we could play trivia with our guests. NOT our daughter's idea of a \"fun\" wedding celebration. Crooked Willow was NOT willing to refund our entire deposit even though they could not accommodate our guest count per our contract. Every other vendor we dealt with during these changes were more than happy to refund 100% given the COVID circumstances which dictated. We offered Crooked Willow $500 for their time in our 2 hours spent looking at the venue and emails over the time period we had worked with them. This was not acceptable to them and after many conversations and emails attempting full refund, we gave in, too much stress, and they kept $1500 of our deposit money. My husband indicated to management that small businesses have PPE they can obtain during these times as a recourse to regain dollars lost but as a consumer we have no protection. When we booked originally COVID wasn't even a \"thing\" so who could have known? We found them to be unbending given COVID and circumstances that were far beyond our control. If planning a wedding during these challenging times, knowing things are changing daily, know what they will refund before you book as we certainly were disappointed they were not understanding of things beyond our control. We tried to stay, they could not accommodate per our contract and we lost. As mentioned, it was stressful dealing with them, disappointing and we felt unfair. On a happy note, we found another venue, much more reasonable to work with and had an amazingly, perfect wedding for our daughter and son -in-law.

Crooked Willow was the perfect place for our wedding. When my wife and I decided to visit, it wasn't long into the tour when we looked at each other and knew this was going to be the place we got married. The grounds were perfectly maintained, the surrounding area picture perfect, and the various locations for events and pictures were very special. There are animals on property that you can also arrange to spend time with (camels, horses, donkeys, dogs, geese, etc.) which is fun extra perk! The staff at CWF were great to work with. We were very meticulous with our questions and planning and the staff was patient and helpful as we worked through the process. Pricing was up front and clear with no hidden costs. And CWF was a great partner with our other vendors.During the final walk through we learned about options and add-on's for our wedding that we had not known about previously. That caused some stress as we were nearing the date and now were considering alterations to our plan. So make sure you ask in advance to avoid potential last second changes. On the wedding day the staff was there to great us and made our time getting ready fun and exciting. However, at times during the wedding there were pieces of our plan that did not come to fruition (high chairs not provided for our young guests, music in the groom suite took a long time to get going). It was a let down, to be fair, but did not ruin the evening one bit. Probably the toughest pill to swallow was after the wedding was over we had personal items lost and never returned. It's difficult to say who is to blame for that, but the process and effort to recover those items felt lacking in comparison to the effort put into planning the wedding.Overall, we would absolutely recommend CWF to anyone looking for a beautiful location to get married. The venue is breathtaking, the staff friendly and responsive, and every one of our guests reported back on how much fun they had. Thank you, CWF, for helping us with our dream wedding!

This venue is AMAZING. It is rustic but classy. All the staff was amazing and do everything in their power to make your day perfect and special. BUT the pictures are stunning and we received so many compliments. The biggest surprise for people was that the loft wasn't our original planned upon space! It's great the venue is so large and can accommodate so many scenarios. We worked with Brandi, who was so helpful and positive the entire time. The entire planning process they were very responsive via email and always so helpful to me. I felt like our wedding was their #1 priority the entire day, and it was so calming!All our guests loved the venue and couldn't say enough positive things about it. We would absolutely choose them again!

Crooked Willow is a stunning venue! It had rained on our big day so the rolling hills in the backdrop of our venue had an eerie, yet gorgeous look to them. The red barn was repainted and the wood floors were replaced, so the venue was very much up to par!!With that being said, I was slightly disappointed in their customer service. In my mind, I was a very low maintenance bride I was only trying to enjoy the best day of my life with the few hiccups that did arise. However, on returning from my honeymoon I had several charges (as stated in the contract) that I needed to pay. I simply replied by asking them to take this out of my deposit because it is what I owed and I offered some feedback on the representation, I felt, I did not receive. From this I got a novel of an email back basically stating that they were sorry I didn't see it their way and threw their contract back in my face. I was very flustered to receive that email as I did not deserve all the backlash that I got and had no issue paying the fees that I owed..I cannot reiterate enough how beautiful my day was and how amazing everything was in its entirety. Their team worked very hard to make our day special, and it was! Easily the best day of my life! I was simply thrown off by the aggressive turn out at the tail end of things merely because I had offered my opinion.

Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish. And by that, I mean not only the actual day, but the entire planning process. Kim Sexton and Katie Burke were excellent managers of the venue, and handled every one of our many needs with promptness & professionalism. The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms is such a special property. If you want to treat your guests to an unforgettable Colorado setting, without having to go up to high-altitude locations west on I-70, this is the place. Just 30 minutes down I-25 to Larkspur brings you to the most bucolic and pastoral ranch land with mountain views and lovely farm vistas. The gathering spaces flow one into the next, & the bridal suite and groom’s suite create a memorable ‘getting ready’ experience for the wedding party before the ceremony. The shaded courtyard area made for a perfect cocktail hour before the grand ballroom sit down dinner. Our 160 guests had plenty of room, the perfect size dance floor, and space for an excellent DJ who kept the party going. Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish. And by that, I mean not only the actual day, but the entire planning process. Kim Sexton and Katie Burke were excellent managers of the venue, and handled every one of our many needs with promptness & professionalism. The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms is such a special property. If you want to treat your guests to an unforgettable Colorado setting, without having to go up to high-altitude locations west on I-70, this is the place. Just 30 minutes down I-25 to Larkspur brings you to the most bucolic and pastoral ranch land with mountain views and lovely farm vistas. The gathering spaces flow one into the next, & the bridal suite and groom’s suite create a memorable ‘getting ready’ experience for the wedding party before the ceremony. The shaded courtyard area made for a perfect cocktail hour before the grand ballroom sit down dinner. Our 160 guests had plenty of room, the perfect size dance floor, and space for an excellent DJ who kept the party going. My wife and I cannot say enough about the amazing venue that is Crooked Willow Farms. First of all, it's absolutely picturesque! Nestled right in the middle sprawling farms and tree filled mountains, it will take your breath away. The venue itself is huge, with plenty of rooms for different wedding activities. One of the things we love most are the options for where you can have your ceremony. We originally planned on having the ceremony on the lawn, but the weather didn't cooperate, so it was moved to Lola's Loft. Equally beautiful and the transition was seamless! We were also very impressed by how well maintained the building is compared to some others we looked at. On that note, even though it's on a farm, it doesn't smell like a farm AT ALL. Major bonus! My wife and I received countless compliments from our guests on how beautiful a venue we chose, and we couldn't agree more.The customer service at CWF is phenomenal! We worked with Kim, Jessica, and Christina and all of them were TOP NOTCH. Very clear communication, extremely accommodating, warm and considerate, and just so professional. This venue was so incredibly beautiful for our May wedding. We could not have found a more perfect place to get married! However, before booking this venue- read through the entire contract. They are pretty restrictive on a lot of things since they are technically a working farm. A couple things were really frustrating to us during the planning process (no sparklers, forced to use their $$$ alcohol service, very specific rules on hanging decorations, and big fines for not all vendors & guests out by midnight.) The coordinators were very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Besides the crazy contract and how expensive it really was by the end, we absolutely loved the space and location.

This venue is absolutely perfect! Crooked Willow Farms is one of the most gorgeous venues I have ever seen. Once my husband and I toured there, nothing else compared. The communication from the time we toured and booked the venue, to the 30 day walk through and up to the day of was extremely prompt and professional. We loved the spacious rooms for the wedding party to get ready as well as the many options for where each part of the wedding day could take place. One of my favorite parts was having the market lights in the courtyard, so we chose to do our first dance there. Amy (our day of coordinator from CWF) was awesome. Before the wedding she was great with answering questions and keeping an open line of communication, and on the day of she personally checked with my groom and I multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly and to ask if we needed anything. We received numerous compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was and how much they enjoyed everything. I would get married again and again at Crooked Willow farms and I hope I have a friend who gets married there so I can go back!

They were timely in answering our questions and helping with anything that we needed.It had everything we wanted - we wanted an outdoor ceremony with the mountains behind and an indoor reception. There was something for everyone! There were so many rooms that we could use for different activities - kid's room, photobooth, buffet room, reception hall, grooms room (basketball was on and everyone wanted to be in there) with cigars, and we had lawn games set up outside. There's all sorts of animals on site (they have them away for the wedding but you should go and check them out when there is no event) - we had camels in the background of our pictures! We also had dancing outside and it was absolutely stunning. The place in itself is so beautiful, we didn't have to do a whole lot with decoration. If you're looking for a rustic/country venue or even a traditional/romantic one, CWF is for you!

Right after I got engaged, I knew I wanted to get married in a chic barn. I googled barns in Colorado and found Crooked Willow. The minute we arrived, I knew this was the place. The grounds are breathtaking, the wedding venue (barn and reception area) are stunning so I immediately put down my deposit. And they did not fail to impress. Every part of the process was wonderful. Patty and Brittney were accessible and super helpful. They had worked with our caterer and were very familiar with most of our vendors.\rThe day of the wedding was impeccable. The venue was clean, presentable, and everyone was on point. I had no complaints and was so happy with the service. \rThe only thing that was disconcerting was the unexplained 20% service charge they added to the bar. They seemed to add extra charges that were not discussed, however, when brought up, they were very thorough in their response. Lastly, the only other \"negative\" was the cost of the alcohol. It is outrageously expensive.\rHowever, these were minor issues compared to how incredible the venue looks and feels. It was the most magical day! Definitely check them out! You will be so happy you did!!

Crooked Willow Farms was beautiful, It had the perfect balance of elegance and rustic and is perfect for a CO wedding. That being said, after having my wedding there, I'm not sure if the beauty of the venue was worth the horrible customer service, unprofessionalism, and flat out disrespect my husband and I received through the wedding planning process. \r\rIt started when we toured the venue and I told Patty Moser, who works for venue services, that our budget was $25,000. She condescendingly (literally, with the roll of her eyes) made a point to tell us that the weddings they work with cost at least $30,000. Money comments were made to us through the entire appointment from there on out.\r\rAt that first meeting, I also asked Patty if they allowed sparklers at their venue (that was an important detail to me) and she told me that so long as the fire danger wasn't high on my wedding day, they would definitely make sure that could be worked out. Fast forward to my wedding week, as I attempted to work out the details regarding the sparklers, I was told that there was no way we could have sparklers. There were multiple excuses, each more absurd than the last as we called her out on them. As if the poor excuses weren't enough of an insult, the morning of our wedding we received a message saying that they would consider sparklers, if we got a fire truck on site and approval 30 days before the event. It really felt as though Patty would say and do anything to lock you into a contract and has no regard for follow through. She never once made me feel genuinely valued as a client.\r\rOn the actual wedding day, Amy was our coordinator through CWF. I have endless stories from members of the bridal party and guests about how rudely Amy treated them. She gave my husband a hard time for wanting his scotch neat instead of on the rocks, she grabbed and pulled cigars out of my bridal party members hands when they were outside in designated smoking areas, including the groom. She honestly hovered and treated us as if she was our babysitter. It was incredibly devaluing and took away from the free spirit associated with the celebration of our marriage. It disappoints me tremendously to be treated like that, especially when we are dishing out SO much money on what appears to be a classy venue. Amy made a point to literally grab, yell, and push my bridal party around all night. At the end of the night we were all out of there by 11:50, as the contract states we are supposed to be out by 12. Regardless that we were cleaning up and collecting our things from about 11 onwards, Amy was yelling at anyone still on the premises, threatening a $500 fee. Again, I felt as though CWF really had no value for me as a bride and just wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible. \r\rAll in all, I found it quite astonishing the way Crooked Willow treats their clients. You would think when clients are spending $10,000+ on simply the venue they would strive to have stellar customer service. \rIf you are willing to stand up for yourself and push through the unprofessionalism, it is a gorgeous venue. Just be forewarned, they have an endless list of rules, no regard for follow through or honesty and don't care about making their client's day uniquely special. I would also recommend you get any verbal agreements written into the contract before you sign! Money is very clearly their first and main priority, and getting your wedding over and down with is clearly their second.

We received so many compliments on our wedding reception venue! We absolutely loved everything about Crooked Willow Farms and the guests loved it too! The staff was a pleasure to work with! Crooked Willow truly made our day special!

Crooked Willow Farms was the perfect venue for my husband and me. The red barn, all of the animals, and the pure elegance of the venue was what sold us in the beginning. The staff were extremely professional. We worked with Amy as our event coordinator, and she helped the day go very smoothly. Though it was an unseasonably chilly day, they made sure we got our outdoor ceremony, and were easily able to transition our cocktail hour indoors. Our guests were in awe of the beauty of the venue, and the area itself. We would do it all over again if we could!

I am speechless about this stunning venue. I felt like my wedding was this beautiful, perfect fairytale. Crooked Willow Farms is above and beyond when it comes to class and elegance. My shabby chic fall wedding was the best day of my life and I recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a jaw dropping wedding experience!

Crooked Willow had so much to offer - we only wish we could have used more! They have an incredible outdoor patio that the guests loved - it was tucked between the barns and a garden - and the majority of the people spent the night here! They have so many beautiful rooms inside, make sure to show your guests, or they won't be used!

Beautiful location, beautiful space...all of my guests were blown away with how gorgeous it was. All the staff I worked with were so helpful and professional. And even though the days leading up to my wedding saw torrential rain unseen in centuries....everything went off without a hitch (we moved inside, but it was just as wonderful a place)!

This venue was absolutely gorgeous! The setting was perfect and they have several unique spaces to work with. Make sure you read the contract thoroughly - there were a few things that surprised us. It is expensive but for us, it was worth it for the setting and ambiance! \rPositives: You get the whole venue to yourself for the entire day! Awesome house that you can stay in the night before your wedding. Beautiful setting and grounds! \rNegatives: You have to get all alcohol through them. Event must end by 11pm - so no late night parties! \rOther: Venue requires that you hire a wedding coordinator.

Every experience we had with Crooked Willow from the first time we visited to post wedding day was absolutely wonderful. Every member of the staff was friendly, always looking to help, and timely with everything. The location was BEAUTIFUL! From the white fences and immaculate red barns, to the mountain views, you really can't beat it. My husband and I are both military, so planning the wedding came down to the very last minute, but Crooked Willow helped us put together a perfect fairy tale wedding. Our friends and family are still raving about the venue almost a month later! We held our ceremony outside on the events lawn, used the courtyard for cocktail hour, then moved inside for dinner and dancing! Every space at the venue is gorgeous; you can't go wrong.\rI give Crooked Willow my highest recommendation to every bride!

I loved this location. The majority of our guests were coming in from out of town so we wanted one location for both our ceremony and reception. We selected a Monday date and it ended up being quite a bit less. The bridal room and \"man cave\" were great spaces and allowed us to get ready on site. A lot of vendors in the area also love working with Crooked Willow since it's geared towards weddings and other events.

Our point of contact changed 3 times from the time we signed with them, which made things confusing. They are also very strict about timing, vendors and alcohol. Everything was beautiful and our wedding was amazing, just read the fine print before putting down your deposit. :)

I can not say enough good things about our whole experience with Crooked Willows. The whole staff really went above and beyond our expectations. They were always friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. I do not think I got stressed out working with the lovely staff even once. They really are wonderful people!\r\rWe have not received our official wedding photos back yet, but the photos we do have they are simply breath taking. Our wedding planner who had never worked at Crooked Willows told us it was the most beautiful and friendliest wedding venue she has worked ever with. \rThank you again Crooked Willows for making my wedding day a dream come true!

We could not have asked for a better staff or more beautiful venue. There are so many options to make your wedding perfect and exactly as you imagined. The venue quality, beauty and staff are worth every penny! We loved working with Patty throughout the planning process and Michael was a wonderful event manager. This location is amazing! It had everything we wanted. Outdoor ceremony setting with great views, dressing rooms for bride and groom, fabulous ballroom, and a photo booth! We loved everything including all the farm animals. :)

Our experience with the Crooked Willow staff leading up to the wedding was great!!! We loved walking through the venue with our vendors right before the wedding and the Crooked Willow staff was so helpful. My bridesmaids and I stayed at the venue the night before which was so nice to wake up where we were getting married!! Our wedding had the perfect Colorado setting of the mountains.

As soon as my fiance and I saw Crooked Willow we knew it was THE PLACE! Wow! Our guest were blown away by the amazing location. It is a place that can easily be glam or rustic depending on the bride's choice.

Great Venue. It fit our personalities perfectly and provided for a really elegance and classy yet fun and laid back wedding. The venue coordinator was really nice and flexible about things. All in all, great accommodations, fun yet REALLY nice atmosphere. LOVED it.

This was truly the most amazing location for our wedding. Trust me, we LOOKED! We knew what we wanted...longer than 4 hours, the only wedding at the location at the same time, and a true Colorado experience for our guests. We got it all and then some. \r\rMost of our guests were from out of town. We wanted to show them a mountain experience but didn't want our lowlander guests to have to travel even more and deal with possible altitude problems by going to Summit county. Larkspur is close enough to both Denver and Colo Springs to allow guests to stay in either city. They have even worked out some accommodation and transportation arrangements with The Inverness Hotel in Denver.\r\rThe venue is BEAUTIFUL and they have added some amazing amenities all with weddings/events in mind - kids room (complete with Wii), cigar bar with big screen TV, beautiful brides room with huge closets to hold all the dresses, and even a built-in photo booth. But all of these pale in comparison to the real beauty of the location. If you visit, you will fall in love.\r\rBrendan and staff really treated us like part of the family--working so hard to give us the wedding of our dreams. They are just plain nice people.\r\rIt was more than we originally budgeted...but after searching high and low, we decided this is where we wanted to put the majority of our funds. It was so worth it. We loved it and so did our guests!
