Simply Decor & Events ensures exclusive decor and thrives to bring your event to life through customized, elegant decor for all of their clients. The full service company will individually work with every client to design your event that will intrigue every eye in the room. The company opened a newly renovated venue, The View Event Center. The lavish event space is a double-story, indoor and outdoor venue with panoramic city views. Which allows their clients to bring in their own catering and non-alcoholic drinks or cater with The View.

Wedding Date 30-10-2021
We got engaged in December of 2019. We live out of state, but I'm from Albuquerque so I knew we would be getting married there. As soon as the venues opened up for touring, my parents wrote down places I was interested in that were within budget. This was only the second venue my parents had visited and I knew it was our place from the videos she sent me alone. My folks did most of the work with the Patel's, but any question I had or any requests we had were soundly heard and accommodated. Our wedding day was a gorgeous dream come true and this place is a huge reason why. I couldn't have imagined having our reception anywhere else. They were the easiest to work with. Weddings are stressful enough, you need vendors that ease that , not add to it. The Patel's are wonderful to work with and I'd love to come back for another party in the future.

We toured the View about a year ago and feel in love with it. We did not book it because it could not accommodate our guest count. I have recently booked it for another event and they are great. They have a great deal right now i have shared a picture from there social media.

The team at Simply Decor, Tents and Events did a wonderful job for a private, intimate ceremony in times of uncertainty. Akshay was polite, prompt and flexible with what I needed and envisioned in a short period of time. They sent me pictures and sent multiple estimates promptly with the adjustments I asked for to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Terrific company and I will be using them again in the future. Highly recommend!

The team at Simply Decor, Tents and Events did a wonderful job for a private, intimate ceremony in times of uncertainty. Akshay was polite, prompt and flexible with what I needed and envisioned in a short period of time. I want to start of by thanking the entire staff at The View. We received so many compliments about our wedding and we, too, loved it so much. We really do appreciate everything The View did for us to make our wedding as amazing as it was. Now, as much as we did love our venue, planning a wedding is a BIG deal and there a few things that I wanted to give feedback on. - Two of my appointments with The View were forgotten. During the second missed appointment, there was a gentleman standing outside waiting who, also, was told that someone would be at the building at the same time. - I purchased insurance so that I could serve my own alcohol (it really is great that this an option!). I spoke to someone quite a few times about whether it was received or not and each time it was always a different answer - very frustrating. - There were a few things during the reception that were not made clear to me:1. I had quite a big wedding and I understand that the downstairs can only fit so many people, however, I was never informed that I would have tables upstairs during the reception. Again, I understand they wouldn't, but if I would have been informed this, I would have made my tables fit 10 people so that this wasn't an issue. 2. I had assigned tables with place cards and I specifically asked Annette how that would work. I was told that the place cards would be layed out in the front area for guests to pick up. When it came time for the reception, the place cards were layed out on the tables. All of my guests had to walk around 20 tables trying to find there names. Another instance of, if I would have been told it was done this way, I would have made a sign. All in all I think The View is a great venue and the staff is fairly easy to work with. The only issues were communication and missed appointments.

After looking at what seemed like hundreds of venues this place is love at first sight! A modern elegance open space with endless decorating options, beautiful sunset and city views from the balcony, and amazing owners to work with! I have absolutely no regrets with booking this venue.

I booked this venue for my wedding reception recently, and let me just say the communication I had with Akshay was amazing, not once did I feel stressed or worried, I always felt like we were on the same page about the image I had for my wedding! If I had any questions or concerns I could send him a text and he would respond within minutes! His team is very respectful and professional! They did great working with other vendors I booked. The venue was perfect, my guest really enjoyed the outdoor area especially during sunset! Also I received a phone call from him the day prior to the wedding just giving me a pep talk about not to forget what this day is about! What other vendors do that!? I really appreciated it! 10/10 would recommend!! :)

We recently had the pleasure of having our daughter's wedding reception at The View Event Center. What a perfect day! The View was an ideal venue for my daughter's reception and Akshay and his staff made sure that every detail was attended to without an issue. The venue has been completely remodeled since we originally booked the date over a year ago and it is such an elegant and beautiful place. Our guests were able to enjoy a lovely evening, from the moment they arrived to enjoy the spectacular sunset views from the second floor balcony, to the final moments of dancing on the spacious dance floor. Akshay decorated everything with such an elegant and tasteful touch. We heard so many compliments throughout the night on how beautiful everything was. We couldn't be any happier with the entire day. I would highly recommend Akshay Patel and The View Event Center as a great venue for any event.

If you want a beautiful venue with stunning decorations, a beautiful view of Albuquerque, and a wonderful people to work with- go with this venue!!
