The View on The Hudson was an incredible venue to host our wedding. The inside is immaculate, the staff was so kind and helpful, and the food was raved about by all our guests.Victor was always available to answer our questions and was so great to work with. He was there on our day to make sure everything went according to plan.The wedding day was everything we wanted and more, and made possible by this venue. I highly recommend!

This Venue was absoultely phenomenal ! Rich was fantastic , answered all our questions and was extremely helpful with every single detail ! All our guest could not stop raving about the service and especially the cocktail hour , they all had great things to say about the venue . The bridal assistant Lupita is an absolute gem ! She was extremely helpful and caring , she made sure I had whatever I needed ! It all came together so lovely , we will never forget our special day at The View !

We booked our venue a year out with Rich. He answered every single question I had inbetween, was so accommodating and kind. We were fortunate to have an amazing staff day of. My guest raved about the waiters, the bar tenders and even a bathroom attendant who helped sew a friends dress. People did not stop speaking about how great the drinks were, and how amazing the food was. Cocktail hour was an abundance of delicious food. The venue itself is gorgeous and doesn’t need much to make it beautiful. Our bridal attendant, Lupita, was so kind, was constantly giving us drinks, food, water, carried my dress too and from and helped gather our belongings at night. This kindness stems from the top, as the owners were frequently there. I had a last minute request on linens and they made it happen for us. If I could give them 100 stars I would! The View was absolutely amazing! We worked with Rich who was very knowledgable, helpful and a straight shooter. We felt very comfortable throughout the entire process! We had an issue with our original venue that after 9 months of signing an \"initial contract\" double booked the main room for a bigger party and we would have to be moved upstairs. We found out in January 2022 and was fit to be tied. We immediately started looking at different venues as we no longer felt valued at the original venue. We met with Rich two days later and had the date open, which was a blessing in disguise! We were so happy with the venue, the staff and the attention to detail but also attention to us that day. They really do make you feel like royalty, continuously asking if we need anything, what else can we get you - without being pushy!! The food was incredible, the views are fabulous and I have to say, we received multiple Christmas cards from family members that took pictures on the patio! I would definitely recommend this venue. I wish there was a food tasting available but Rich reassured us that we should not worry and we definitely were at ease after the amazing cocktail hour display and dinner options. Everything was fantastic and we would definitely recommend for a wedding!

Everyone here is professional and welcoming, as well as incredibly accommodating. We worked with Rich, who was there to answer questions seemingly every hour of the day, and was always around for us to pick up or drop off items for the wedding. When we said we wanted to bring in our own cake, amazingly we got another station during the cocktail hour in return. The view of the river and bridge is breathtaking, and the food is delicious (and plentiful, with the cocktail hour being amazingly stocked). Rich and Victor helped our day run smoothly, and we really didn't have to worry about anything except for getting married.

I can't say enough about the quality of service my wife and I had with this venue. The venue is beautiful, the food was excellent, the entire staff went above and beyond to make our day seamless, effortless and memorable. The value for your money spent here is off the charts. We were supposed to be married here in May of 2020. Rich was beyond helpful in getting us rescheduled and working things out so we didn't have to exceed our original budget and took such great care shepherding us through everything. I can't say enough.

The venue is amazing. You can see it from the pictures, so I won't focus too much on the site itself. What was amazing was the service. Victor seemed to have everything handled and ensured that we had a great and amazing wedding. One of our groomsmen actually split his pants right before the ceremony and they were able to get him an extra pair. We also had some COVID concerns and Victor and Rich we're able to make some fair accomodations at the last second to help us out. The food was raved about, and the actual care of us as a couple and of our guests was high quality.

The View on the Hudson was our dream venue. Their staff was friendly and accommodating. As a bride who had dietary restrictions, they ensured that my meal was correct. From the cocktail hour, to dinner and finally the Vinnessee hour, our guests continue to rave about the food and the venue. Victor was easy to work with and was superb directing his staff on our wedding day, making sure everything went smoothly. The View is truly a special place and the staff there is simply incredible.

I went to wedding reception over weekend at beautiful venue food was sub ok the bar had different point of view the liquor was cheap poured into premium bottles and in drinks were watered down tequila in vodka bottles argued with bartender to taste test open new bottle voila it was VODKA???

Drinks were watered down. 2 in my party witnessed what turned out to be Tequila in a Kettle One bottle. After talking to bartender they had to convince him to open new bottle Bartender made comment that they didn’t know the difference !! Are you kidding me ?? Aside from the fact that it seemed like ALL drinks were watered down, and putting cheap alcohol in premium bottles. THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW Music way too loud food was ok. Vegetables practically raw. Viennese hour consisted of what appeared and tasted like it was brought at Costco’s!! My sister paid an enormous amount of money for a second class venue. I would stay away and save your money

My husband and I had our wedding here during the 2020 pandemic! We had booked this venue before the shutdown and we’re just going with the flow as we continued to hope and plan for the best. I would absolutely recommend booking any event here!We worked with Vincent who was always professional, responsive and flexible. He never tried to oversell anything, and worked with us on everything. When we were faced with having to postpone our wedding, he was nothing short of amazing. They were flexible and never charged us any extra fees for having to reschedule. Then when we were faced with having to downsize our guest list, they were reasonable and continued to work with us. That’s all you could have hoped for during these covid times. The night of our wedding - we finally got to have our 50 person wedding. We all felt safe - servers were prepared/ followed guidelines. Venue was beautiful, food was great. Cocktail hour was a bit different (smaller & more passed foods than “buffet”) but everyone was impressed with the food still! I would absolutely recommend hosting any event here and I cannot wait to host another event here.

We originally had our wedding day set for 8/21/20 but due to covid pushed it back to 10/16/20. As the Oct date approached we constantly had to reach out to the venue to see if our 140 person minimum we agreed in our contract for would be possible. There was horrible communication on there part, if we didn't reach out to them we would still be waiting. Unfortunately, because of the restrictions in place they were only able to accommodate a 50 person wedding. Because of this, my wife and I were forced to cancel our wedding. When we started talking about a refund it fell on deaf ears as they said they will not be doing any refunds. I expressed that we understand that times are hard for everyone and we would be willing to work something out that would pay us back but not immediately or all in one payment. They again said they would get back to us and never did. After numerous attempts to mitigate a plan that would work for both of us they still refused to work anything out or return calls or emails. This has been a complete nightmare of an experience. What they are doing is criminal and immorally wrong.

My friends wedding was rescheduled due to COVID per their contract minimum of 140 and New York only allowed 50 guests. They refuse to give their $7500 deposit back due to the pandemic circumstances!! Refuse to allow my friends to speak to the owner!! VERY DISHEARTENING AND PATHETIC!!! CROOKS! ROBBED THEM! A wedding is suppose to be a happy time they could have least refunded half the deposit!! Where is the management?!?!

I’d never recommend this place after learning about the scam they pulled on my friend. After they were unable to provide services for the 140 guests as per the contract, they refused to refund her the deposit of 7500 dollars and have now stopped responding to her and her husband’s calls or emails.

I dont ever write reviews, but I feel it's absolutely necessary to inform the public on my nightmare of an experience with this business. My husband and I had our wedding booked originally for 8/21/20. When covid hit, we decided to push it back to 10/16/20 (in the beginning of February/ March we thought it'd be over by then - little did we know). As October approached, we were informed NY laws were only allowing 50 guests to attend gatherings. We spoke with Vincent and Richard over the phone on many occasions explaining our concerns. Our contract required a minimum of 140 guests to attend, and that's what we wanted pre-covid. We made the hard decision to have a small elopement, and because the contract could not be fulfilled on their end, asked for our money back ..$7,500!!! We were only allowed to speak to Richard or Vincent when we called. We asked for the owners name, but they always stated that we had to go through them and they would relay the message to the owner. The $7,500 included our deposit as well as an installment 6 months after we signed the contract. We sent certified mail with a formal letter requesting our money back. When we called to confirm they received our letter they said they had, but about a week later our certified mail was sent back to us in the mail unopened. Our agreed upon wedding date has now passed and we have had to call everytime to follow up. We are always told they will \"speak with the owner and get back to us,\" however, we have never once received a call or email to follow up. My husband went as far as sending an email pleading that we don't need all the money back at once if they cannot afford it, and we would be willing to get paid back in increments, to which we never received a reply (Vincent had recommended doing so, so he could \"show the owner the email\"). This entire situation has left my husband and I with so much stress. This was our hard earned money we had been saving for our special day. I am a RN living in South Florida, who has been taking care of covid patients since the shutdown in March! The emotional strain i have endured these past 8 months has been exacerbated by this financial situation we have been placed in. My husband and I have so much sympathy for small businesses during this time, but we feel as though the View on the Hudson is taking advantage of us, and I'm sure many other people that had to cancel their celebrations. If you or anyone you know is inquiring on an event hosted by this venue I would share this review to inform them on the integrity of the owner of this establishment.

BEST WEDDING EVER! We had our wedding reception at The View on the Hudson this past summer and we highly recommend it. We had toured multiple venues before making an appointment with Rich at the suggestion of a friend. After just a few paces in from the front door we knew we had found something special. The layout was open and refined allowing only one wedding to occur at a time. The cocktail room was beautiful and provided breathtaking wall to wall window views onto the Hudson River with the “Tappan Zee” Bridge in the background. Outside the cocktail room was a patio with a riverfront promenade. The ballroom was an equally impressive octagon shaped room with views of the palisades and waterfront. We could immediately visualize how these spaces would provide us with a stand-out reception. Rich was wonderful to work with. We met and followed up with him multiple times and he always made time for us. He is a true professional. He knows the business, he knows the food, and he knows what works and what probably doesn’t. He is aware of and prepared for all of the nuances which can make or break the flow and timing of a wedding day making sure every second is maximized for the best experience possible. We feel truly lucky to have worked with him. It was also really important to us that our guests were served top notch food and the The View did not disappoint. The cocktail hour exceeded our expectations and provided a beautiful display with many exceptional food stations – they even had a monogramed ice luge with cucumber shot glasses which was definitely a wow. The entrees, cake, and desserts were all phenomenal. The Maître d’ and his team provided our guests with top-class service. Countless guests commented that it was the best wedding they had attended. Our big day went off without a hitch from start to finish. The dance floor was always full and we had the time of our lives. Everything was perfect and we will treasure the day forever. We enthusiastically recommend Rich and his team at the View on the Hudson.

From the moment we stepped into the view i knew it was where i wanted to get married. I instantly got butterflies. The ball room, the view from the floor to ceiling windows, we were in awe. All the help we were provided from the day we signed our contract to the day of our wedding was amazing. There was always someone available to speak with, especially when you are stressing about planning your wedding. If we could go back to our day and replay it over and over we would!

The View on the Hudson I will say without a doubt is the prettiest venue my wife and I looked at, and we are so happy that we ended up booking with them. Vince, Rich, Joe and their staff were all incredible, communicative, and made sure my wife and I were treated like royalty all throughout our event. Our guests were blown away by the scenery and the food at this venue. The flexibility that they showed my wife and I was unbelievable and we are so thankful that they followed through with all of our requests, and even upgrades that were promised to us by an old employee who originally helped us book the venue. The grounds are impeccable and the food was absolutely fantastic. They use a particular bakery for the wedding cake and it was just as spectacular. If you are looking for a venue for any occasion, you would really be doing yourself a disservice by not looking at The View on the Hudson.

I had my wedding this past September at the View. Working with Rich and Vincent was incredibly easy, they listened to our wants and accommodated all our requests! On the day of the wedding, everything was put together perfectly- and I didn't need to worry about a thing. Our rehearsal was simple and just what we needed for our bridal party (Rich walked everyone through it). On the day of, everyone was supportive to the point that Rich even helped fix my veil because our bridal attendant was doing other necessary things. Our cocktail hour was fantastic, people ate more than they could have imagined at it and the presentation was great. The food was great (even though we ate our dinner the next day-- thankful for our maitre d who put it aside for us)! The set up of tables, photo booth, cake, memory table, etc. was exactly where we wanted. The waitstaff and bartenders were attentive to needs along with all the other staff members. Andrew, who helped set up the photo booth for us was also super helpful and made sure we received our flash drives. The venue itself is gorgeous and only one event at a time which was a huge selling point for us! It is right on the water and although the grass looks like a small spot to fit so many people, it totally works. The planning process was seamless, there were constant reminders and Rich and Vincent were always available to answer questions! Thanks to the staff at The View, my husband and I had the best day of our lives.

I don't even know where to start! From the moment we got engaged, I knew the only place I wanted to have my wedding was The View on the Hudson. Growing up I had visited the beautiful village of Piermont countless times, and had always admired The View. After initially contacting The View to inquire about date availability, Rich and Vince were with us every step of the way.My husband and I planned our wedding in three months, which definitely meant we needed to move quickly. After booking our venue in June for our October 5th wedding, I was in consistent contact with Rich and Vince. They were always available to answer my (many) questions and to help guide me.My husband and I had a daytime wedding, 12-4:30, with an outdoor ceremony right along the river. The outside setup was SO lovely and went SO smoothly. Our maitre d' assisted us the day of, along with my bridal attendant. They made sure we were where we needed to be at all times and were very kind and helpful.We had a buffet lunch- the food was so delicious. I cannot stress that enough. I was so happy with our choices and Rich made sure there were more than enough options for our guests. The cake, which was part of our package and made by Palermo's Bakery, was the most delicious cake I have ever had. Plus, it was beautiful.Overall, we could not have chosen a better venue. The fact that October 5th also happened to be a sunny, cloudless, absolutely perfect early fall day, just added to it. The View is simply elegant, and classy- from the beautiful marble floors to the crystal chandeliers, the bridal suite with the balcony overlooking the Hudson. I mean... it was just absolutely incredible. Rich, Vince and the entire staff made our day better than I could have even imagined! Thank you so much!!

As soon as I walked into The View on the Hudson, I knew this was the place for us to celebrate our wedding day. I had no idea that everything from the food, to the service, to the way we were treated from start to finish would be as amazing as the venue is beautiful. As soon as our guests arrived, they were greeted with smiles and a glass of champagne accompanied by the amazing breathtaking views of the venue. My guests raved about everything! The cocktail hour food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. We had about five different stations in the cocktail hour alone, ranging from Italian, to Chinese, to seafood and a potato station, among others!Our guests were impressed with how delicious everything was (which isn’t usually the case at weddings), and still today- two weeks later, they’re still talking about it when we see them!My bridal party had two different bridal suites, one for the bridesmaids (which has a beautiful balcony facing the river view) and one for the groomsmen. The servers were extremely helpful and consistently catering to all of our immediate needs. I, as the bride, was assigned my own bridal attendant; and she was amazing! She provided my husband and I with food at our bridal suite and followed us around while we took pictures so that she could help me with my dress at all time (truly, I loved her!)The View is packed with picturesque settings. The different chandeliers provided for such beautiful pictures! The venue has recently been renovated and it is more gorgeous than ever. Finally, Vincent and the entire team were amazing to work with! Vincent was supportive, understanding, and attentive to our specific requests. He worked with our schedule and was always quick to respond to our emails and phone calls. He always greeted us with a smile and truly made us feel like we are a part of The View’s family. I felt supported and comfortable through the entire wedding planning process. I am so grateful to the entire staff of The View for making our wedding day truly amazing and unforgettable for my husband and I and certainly for all of our guests. On one particular day when Vincent was off, Rich was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Their entire team is accommodating, supportive and truly great to work with. I recommend Vincent, Rich, and the entire staff! If we had to do it all over again, there is NO OTHER place we would ever choose. I am so glad this was our choice!

I have known I wanted to get married here since I was a little kid (different name and owners back then), the location right on the Hudson River is simply breathtaking. When it came time to pick our venue I knew that we had to go to the View and see if it was within our range. We ended up booking for a Saturday daytime wedding in order to fit our budget. Our wedding was simply breathtaking! The views were stunning, and the food was everything you would get for an evening wedding. All of our guests really loved our wedding, from the outdoor ceremony, to the wonderful cocktail hour, to the reception and meal everything was perfect. We worked with Rich and found him easy to work with, responsive, and knowledgable. As the bride on the day of everything was set up beautifully, and I was asked about minor changes and things before they were done. My attendant was also great and always there with whatever we needed. I am so happy that I got my dream wedding at the View, I highly recommend them!

We had our wedding in July at the View on the Hudson. We were blown away by the overall experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. We had sole use of the venue and every need was catered to. Vincent and the rest of the staff were so amazing and we couldn't praise them enough.As a wedding venue we couldn't fault anything. The food was out of this world- all our guests commented on the quality of food and the service in which was offered. The venue played a huge part in the success of our wedding day and the amount of our guests who are still talking about your venue is testament to that.Thank you Vincent and staff!

We recently had our wedding at the View on the Hudson and it was an amazing experience! The wonderful team at the View was incredibly helpful every step of the way. No question or request was too big or too small for the team. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been possible without Rich, he was very supportive, responsive and incredibly easy to work with from day 1. We had the ultimate dream team on the day of our wedding. From the bridal attendant ,Lupita, to the Maitre D and Rich’s team, we were all well taken care of. We literally did not have to worry about a thing. We cannot thank the View enough for making our wedding the best day of our lives. It’s almost been a month and our guests can’t stop raving about the amazing food, view, and overall experience they had at our wedding! I am sorry that this has taken me this long to write a review for our wedding on 4/27/19. This was the second wedding for us and we had a reservation at another venue but that fell through and we needed to find another venue that would accommodate a reception for less than 80 people. We met with Rich, viewed the venue and immediately knew that this is where we wanted our wedding to be celebrated. Rich was knowledgeable, easy to work with and he delivered. The wedding celebration was beautiful and fun. Our guests were amazed at the amount and quality of the food. The staff was professional and plentiful. All I can say is \"Thank Goodness\" the first venue fell thru. My daughter said \" These two know how to throw a party\". Rich and his staff made it a day that we will never forget.

The food was delicious and our guests raved about the cocktail hour. The staff was gracious and attentive. Vincent worked with us in the planning and was very helpful and accommodating. The entire evening was perfect. We were so happy with our choice of venue and would definitely choose The View again to host a special event!

We’re so excited to write a review for The View on the Hudson that we’re not even sure where to begin. The moment we walked in for a tour, we fell in love with the venue. We secured our date a year in advance and throughout the year the staff was incredibly helpful, professional and supportive. As we got closer to our wedding date, the manager, Joe Emenrani, made sure every request and detail was met. On the day-of, our Maitre D (Vincent) and Bridal Attendant (Lupita) were God-sends. They were by each of our sides every step of the ceremony and reception and made sure we had everything we could possibly need and want throughout the day. We cannot thank The View on The Hudson enough for making sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. It’s truly a hidden gem and you will not be disappointed hosting any event here! Oh yeah, and the food was ridiculously good! Cannot forget the food!

We could not have asked for a better venue than the View. There were no changes or last minute decisions that could hold this team back. Vincent, Al, Lupita, and all of the bartenders, waitstaff, and other attendants were truly attentive and amazing. They put me and my fiance at ease, and made sure each guest had what they needed. The food was phenomenal, and even with our wedding being about two weeks ago, we are still getting phone calls about everything. The cocktail hour was delicious with so many options, the meals were almost personalized so that each person felt they ordered out at a restaurant, and the dessert tray was a nice touch offering a variety of sweets. It's impossible to find anything to note that would be negative about the view and decorations given how beautiful the venue is. All-in-all, I would pick the View on the Hudson over and over again every time if I was planning big events. Thank you so much to the incredible team there for making our day so special, and truly accounting for everything. It was one of the best, most memorable days of my life and most of that can be attributed to the wonderful professionals at the View.

We recently had our wedding at the View on the Hudson and had a great experience! We had both our ceremony and reception there. We fell in love with the location, the giant chandelier in the reception room, and Ralph (our wedding coordinator) made us feel very comfortable! We got lucky and were able to have the ceremony outside, the view was amazing - all our guests really enjoyed it! Overall, I felt very comfortable throughout planning and the actual wedding - the staff helped everything run very smoothly. In comparison to other venues in the NJ/NY state area, we felt The View provided a large amount of food options for the price. We needed \"kosher style\" and they were easily able to accommodate. Overall, we were super happy with our wedding experience - glad we picked The View!

Howard was amazing and absolutely helpful for an already stressful intense day. I had an evening wedding and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very supportive and very nice! My guests raved about the food, the cocktail hour was amazing. What I enjoyed was how Howard tries to implement cultural needs into your event and is open to ideas and works with you. Two things I wasn't aware of but wouldn't have changed my mind, I would have just been more prepared. Being by the water expect mosquitoes, I didn't and one of my bridesmaids are allergic to them yikes, nothing Benadryl couldn't fix. Secondly, the venue is in a small town which blares an alarm for nearby firefighters to come to the station and assist in emergencies. Luckily this happened PRIOR to the ceremony but not again afterwards. Otherwise the venue was beautiful, the food was great, and I was very happy that my husband and I chose this venue.

Food was good, venue is beautiful. Big bang for our buck, and if we had to do it all over again we would. Can't say enough good things about this venue.However.....we had a difficult time dealing with our maître d Howard on occasion. We asked that the bride and groom and bridal party have our cocktail hour upstairs in the bridal and grooms suites. Howard almost insisted that we do not, almost to the point of arguing. He even raised his voice at my bride on our wedding night when she refused to go downstairs to the cocktail hour with the guests. We had 200 guests at our wedding, and we knew that we would not be able to get a bite in with all of our guests coming up to us. We chose not to eat downstairs for that reason....plus.....it was a tradition with both of our families that we don't see them until we make the entrance at the reception. The groomsmen and bridesmaids all felt the same way about our maître d. Other than that, we had a very pleasant experience with The View and would do it all over again if we could.

Our Nov.'16 reception was held here. Everything from start to finish was absolutely flawless and perfect. Our maitre d', Howard, catered to all of our needs as well as all of our guest's needs. He anticipated all the priorities as well as the little things even before we realized they needed to be done. All the guests could not be happier with the food and drinks. Everything that was served from cocktail hour to the bar to the main course was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. We highly recommend The View on the Hudson and Howard. Everything he promised was brought to the table (AND MORE!!!)

What a great wedding reception we had in late December, 2016. Howard Vaz was the consummate professional from the time of negotiation, to the time we walked out of the reception hall. Like a skilled physician, Howard has been doing this for many years and the customer is the beneficiary of that experience. The View as a venue is excellent, you're the only event going on there. The flow of the rooms, the bar area, the vast hallway, really lend to a nice flow of family and friends mingling easily. While we had >150 guests there, folks remarked to me how nice that the tables were not bumping into each other (how I hate that!). The food was excellent, and the presentation of the appetizers, the Cake, were just great.Howard's attention to detail was amazing. As the Father of the Bride (or the Bride or Groom), there are a million things going on. It was extremely important who had their eyes on the details.........thanks Howard!I cannot say enough about the tremendous experience we had at The View.

Literally the best day ever!!!! To say the staff at The View was accommodating would be an understatement. They were by our side the entire night making sure we had exactly what my husband and I needed. We actually forgot the cake topper for our wedding cake and the staff was gracious enough to offer us one that they had there. The bridal party was also a few hours early to the venue because we were taking pictures and even though they were still setting up for the reception they accommodated our entire bridal party and made sure we were comfortable and had some snacks. Overall it was such an amazing night. Guests told me they loved the beautiful venue and the food was on point. I would recommend this venue to everyone. Thank you for everything!!

Spectacular in every way. Between the incredible view, awesome food and Howard we chose the best venue for our wedding. Our friends are still raving about the cocktail hour! My husband and I had looked at 10 venues and on July 4th in the pouring rain we stumbled into The View on the Hudson. Howard greeted us and took his time getting to know us asking just the right questions. It is a big decision to decide where you are going to hold the most special day in your life and once we spoke to Howard we both knew this was the place. The staff, the chef, everyone was awesome leading up to the event and on our special day. Howard is very easy to communicate with, extremely prepared and he made sure our wedding day was smooth sailing. The food was excellent. My husband is Italian so having a lot of food was important for him and my goodness we had a spread. I had asked for a sandwich before the reception to make sure I ate something and with out hesitation Howard brought me a beautiful plate. Also during our cocktail hour he hand picked items and brought up to us to be sure we had plenty to eat. All our friends thought the cocktail hour was dinner. They were in for a treat. Howard met with us a few times before the big day, worked with us on our budget, and was very easy going about allowing us to come the venue and feel out the space before the wedding. We were in complete ease knowing we had The View on The Hudson. We felt like we were part of an extended family. The View on the Hudson is one class act. My husband and I got married at The View this past weekend and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. From our first meeting with Howard Vaz, he assured us that he would make the (crazy) wedding planning experience as relaxed and stress-free as possible- he was right! Howard was ALWAYS available for us and handled all of the details from the big tasks down to the little stuff. We had both our ceremony and reception at The View. The outdoor ceremony was so romantic and beautiful- one of the reasons I HAD to get married there was due to the breathtaking views of the water. The outside was set up with white chairs facing a wedding alter and the river- my guests still will not stop telling us how gorgeous the scenery was. Howard had graciously met with my whole family and wedding party the evening prior to ensure the ceremony was flawless and everybody knew the processional and order of the ceremony (phew!) And the reception was just as fabulous. The staff at the View were FANTASTIC- my hubby and I don't drink and the bartender Mary dug up some energy drinks for us out of her own personal stash! How sweet?! Our waitress Theresa was also wonderful and was always asking us what we needed and if she could get us anything. And Howard spent the entire reception making sure we were taken care of. He was there the entire time!!! He helped us all line up for intro's, and helped organize the first dances and cake cutting. You know how when a big event ends you often walk away thinking it had gone much different than you thought it was? For over a year I had envisioned my wedding to be the perfect evening, and in the end, it was even BETTER than I had dreamed it would be.

We just were married at The View on August 16, 2015. From the moment we met Ralph in October of 2014, we knew it was the best place for our summer wedding. \r\rWe started our day early, and ended early evening, and Ralph and his team were more than attentive, kind, helpful, generous and the absolute best. For our small-medium size wedding (110 guests), The View felt cozy and grand. We enjoyed the view (obviously), the food, the staff and our entire day. Although we did not get to try everything at cocktail hour, we keep hearing from our guests that everything was incredible and delicious. \r\rRalph goes ABOVE and BEOYND to make you feel like comfortable and as relaxed as can be on your wedding day. Everything is on schedule and he makes it just flow flawlessly. He even reminded us to eat and to take a step back and enjoy the day. \r\rIf I could do it all over again today, I would!\r\rThank you, Ralph, Joseph and The View on the Hudson for making our day as spectacular as it was!

Our wedding was FANTABULOUS!!!! The venue was beautiful. The view of the Hudson River, mountains and blue skies were absolutely gorgeous for our fall themed wedding. It was the perfect day for an outside ceremony. Howard Vaz is the best! His guidance, hospitality, and professionalism made it even more perfect. From day one, he made himself readily available for any questions or concerns. From ceremony to reception, Howard kept his staff on point. Myself and the bridal party arrived later than expected but Howard kept the flow smooth and seamless. We didn't miss a beat. He accommodated us in every way. He worked every corner to make sure our guests had food and drinks. He made sure me and my husband had quiet time in the bridal suite while enjoying the tasty hors d‘oeuvres and assortments of fruits and veggies. We got to bask in the moment for a moment. Our guests were extremely satisfied with the service, delicious food and 5-hour open bar with premium liquor ;-). The staff was awesome!! We're all still re-living the day. If you're looking for a venue that can eliminate the stress and provide half of your planning by offering space, food, drinks, cake, scenery, exceptional service, and professionalism, for a reasonable cost, then look no further. If I had more daughters, their weddings would be at The View, too! The entire team, from Maitre D' Ralph, to Chef David, Bartender Paul, Captain Theresa & her amazing team, to Cesar and Patty and Joseph & Howard... each and everyone of them go out of their way to make you feel extra special. No matter how many times I called or how many questions I had, they were always so patient and extremely helpful. I love this place so much I've rented it out for parties every year for the past 6 years. You are literally feet away from the Hudson River with spectacular views of the Tappan Zee Bridge and Westchester coastline. The folks work with you because they want you to be happy. You will be more than happy. You will be ecstatic!

My Husband and I had our wedding there at the end of this September. Howard greeted us and was there to help us from start to finish, as well as attended to our families every need. I never have saw staff so attentive at a wedding. I was worried that our guests would wonder into the other room and leave the main room (dance floor) for the bar, but that never really happened (because the staff was that attentive). We had a couple of guest that needed extra things/services, and Howard remembered it and gave them extra attention which made that most difficult guests very pleased. Not only was the service wonderful, the venue itself was perfect. It was wonderful to have the whole place to ourselves and all our guests were wowed by the rooms and decoration. A lot of Brides and Grooms are now interested in new and different ideas to have weddings which is neat, but it was really nice have an old school elegant venue. We had many, many guests come up to us and tell us it was the best wedding ever and I really think they meant it!!! Even if they didn't we truly had our perfect wedding there.

Our wedding was here on June 22, 2014. We got an amazing deal for a Sunday wedding. Howard made our day extremely special. From day one, he was extremely accommodating. He kept telling us, you...worry about the small stuff...and leave the hard stuff to us. We did exactly that!! The view from the cocktail area, the ballroom and ceremony area were exquisite. If your looking for a venue that gives it's all, amazing food, and right on the water....this is your place!! Howard made sure we were having a great time, and he also made sure we made time to eat ourselves. God knows, bride and grooms never eat...but luckily we got to. Haha. Our family was taken care of as well. Everything went amazing, and more!! I would highly recommend this place for a wedding, or any event that should be special

We had a great wedding at the view on the Hudson. By that I have not one single complaint about this venue. We worked with Ralph and he made sure that our wedding was everything that we wanted and more. We had our ceremony at The View on the Hudson. We had it outside and the backdrop was nothing less than magical. Ralph made sure that it ran perfectly and seamlessly. Move ahead to the cocktail hour and the food was amazing they have numerous stations to chose from, and in their standard package you pick four. The food was plentiful and delicious. The drinks were flowing getting everyone primed up for the party. Ralph and his staff were compleat professionals through out the night. The food was amazing, did not hear one single complaint, but received many comments on how good the food was. Ralph was very easy to deal with and made sure that every request that we had was met and that there very no snafus though out the night. He was extremely flexible with us the week of the wedding as far as people canceling on us and then people coming last minute that changed their mind. He is a professional and I would highly recommend requesting him as your matre de. Nothing and I mean nothing went wrong at our wedding, and it was the day that my wife had been dreaming about her whole life, and that had a lot to do with Ralph and his staff.

I thought The View on the Hudson was an amazing place to get married. All of my guests loved the food during the cocktail hour and the wedding. The space is amazing and the view is WONDERFUL. It ended up raining during our wedding, so we had the ceremony inside, and it was still breathtaking. The professionalism of the staff was great for this. They turned the room around in a matter of minutes!

HOWARD YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! My wedding was on January 11, 2014. Upstate NY in the dead of the worse winter in a long time. Yet somehow no one remembers that, all they are talking about is the amount of food and the quality of the food. The level of service they received and just how elegant and classy our affair was. I've heard comments as THE BEST WEDDING I'VE EVER BEEN TO. Yes me and my husband both planned things that we knew each of our families would like but to have a wonderful team like they have at The View on the Hudson to execute it and go above and beyond for all our guest not just those immediately involved like the bridal party, parents and of course Bride and Groom but all our guest felt like they were treated royally. Who can ask for anything better. No to forget our Maitre D. Howard I say again YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! You truly made our wedding the most beautiful day and there wasn't nothing that you didn't do to see to that. Another point our family members know you by name and we all are still talking about how GREAT you are. I can't say THANK YOU enough but i'll try. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!\rI can go on and on about how much food was served and how amazing it tasted but to be fair as the bride I didn't eat much I can only tell you that my family is still talking about the food and wished they could have taken some home, LOL! The venue was beautiful and the service was top notch. And the amount that you get for the price in NY is unreal. Book the view if you want a gorgeous affair and to be treated like royalty.

My husband and I had our ceremony (outdoors) and reception at the View on the Hudson. We worked closely with Howard Vaz whose careful attention to detail ensured that we had a beautiful and truly memorable wedding. Howard knew that we wanted an outdoor wedding overlooking the Hudson River, but there was rain in the forecast for that weekend. He and his staff monitored the weather reports and decided that we could pull it off. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and then headed indoors for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. The rain came down an hour later while we were safely indoors! Howard accommodated our request for an outside caterer to provide some Nigerian dishes during the cocktail hour and his quick-thinking saved the day when the caterer showed up an hour-and-a-half late (well past the cocktail hour). He served the Nigerian food to each table as an additional food option during the luncheon and most guests thought that this was our original intention! Howard has a no-nonsense approach to wedding planning that might take some getting used to but the results more than speak for themselves. I would use him again in a heartbeat. We were so happy with the outcome that we visited him a week after our wedding just to say \"thank you!\" I would highly recommend the View on the Hudson to any couple thinking of getting married in the greater New York area.

His impeccable attention to detail, genuine concern for our happiness, and dedicated are unmatched. He went above and beyond expectations. \r\rThe food was absolutely delicious, and everyone raved about it! The ballroom was beautifully decorated and the servers were all extremely attentive to our guests. We had our wedding at the View in January 2012 (last January). Beautiful setting with huge windows looking up (not across) the Hudson, which was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony since we couldn't have it outside in the winter. The cocktail hour was in the room next door, again looking up the Hudson. Then when the ceremony chairs etc were broken down, the reception was in the large room where the ceremony had been. \r\rHarold was fantastic. He's a little set in his ways, but there's good reason - he knows what works. If you don't have an event planner/coordinator, he is perfect for you (he was perfect for us). He timed everything, told us when to go where, and everything went so smoothly. Although they didn't turn on the heat until about an hour or two before the guests were to arrive, so the family members etc who showed up for pre-wedding pictures were cold. Again, that's a winter problem, because it's a big place to heat up.\r\rThe price was great - it was within an hour of Manhattan and so much less expensive even at that time of year. And more beautiful. Also as someone else mentioned, it's one event at a time so the place is all yours, which is very nice. And the bathrooms were nice, which you might take for granted, but don't! \r\rOne of the guests is in a band that does a lot of weddings, he said that the steak was the best wedding steak he had ever had - I assume that includes much more expensive venues although I don't know. The bartender didn't know how to make our favorite drink (but many NYC bartenders don't know it either) so stick to the standard drinks. But it's an open bar package for 5 hours, so that was fantastic anyway.\r\rThere is a nice Hilton nearby (about a 30 minute drive) where we stayed and many of our guests, and had the rehearsal dinner. \r\rThe cake included in the package was delicious - you go to the bakery for a tasting to try different fillings/flavors. The bakery is famous for doing the Yankees cakes and what not. They somehow got the bows a little off center from each other, which is weird, but the icing was beautifully piped, and it really was a delicious cake so I was very happy with it. It received rave reviews from many guests.\r\rWe received so many unsolicited compliments (in the context of totally different conversation topics) months later about the venue and the food. It's such a beautiful setting.

We had been to previous weddings at The View and knew it would be perfect for us. We worked with Ralph who was thorough and professional throughout the entire process. The night of our wedding everything went so smoothly. The room looked absolutely perfect. We knew what to expect and how our wedding would flow. I had no worries! The food was amazing and my husband and I danced the night away care free. Not to mention the amazing pictures we were able to capture outside! We could not have asked for more. The even was perfect and this venue is very reasonably priced. Our only regret is that we can't do it all again!

When we first walked into the View on the Hudson my then soon to be husband and I fell in love with it. The view, the high ceilings, and the chandeliers were all beautiful. We dealt primarily with Howard during our planning process and he was incredibly helpful. He answered all of our questions and got back to us very quickly. On the day of he was also the maitre d and he was very professional. We didn't have to worry about a thing, he was on top of it all. The food was delicious and everybody raved about it.

My wedding day had unfortunate weather however Howard took good care of us. From the minute we arrived early until the very end. All our guests have said how wonderful everything was. Fabolous food and view as well as an excellent wait staff. Howard was a little uneasy about our friends because they are heavy drinkers but in the end it all worked out.

Had my wedding here this past weekend.\r\rIt was an amazing experience in large part due to View on the Hudson and it's staff.\r\rPros:\rFood was amazing\rDrink flowed freely\rThe staff from Howard to their waitstaff was diligent, helpful, polite, and went to the extreme in wanting to make it a wonderful experience for my guests.\rThe setting is amazing\rThe price was right\rThey catered to us from the deposit to the end of the evening.\rHoward was nothing if not consistently helpful.\rOne wedding at a time.\rHoward invited all my early arriving guests inside the space, handed out champagne and didn't rush us out the door at the end of the night.\r\rCons:\rThe space is slightly dated but totally typical of any catering venue that isn't specifically billing itself as off beat or multiple use venue.\rHoward seemed a bit uncertain with the boisterous drinkers in our group, but he took it very much in stride and made sure to take extra care that they were well fed.\r\rAll in all the price was right, the service was top notch, the food was excellent and an amazing time was had by all.

The food was incredible and the place was beautiful. We had a cocktail hour followed by the sit down reception. Everyone told that they loved the food and how beautifully it was displayed. We were supposed to have the ceremony outside, but it rained. They were able to set us up inside and it was perfect. The staff took care of everything and made sure the wedding went smoothly. I couldn't have been happier!

Words cannot describe the phenomenal job Howard and his staff did this weekend for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. From start to finish not a stone was left unturned. The venue was magnificent, the food and service was fantastic and as my daughter-in-law describes it, it was a 'dream' wedding. If you have the opportunity to have your wedding here, don't pass it up. It is the chance of a lifetime. The View on the Hudson far surpassed our greatest expectations for this day!!!! Thank you Howard, you are a true professional.

The View is a gorgeous location for a wedding in any season, and was particularly spectacular on my sunny wedding day. The staff, especially Ralph and Patty, were a pleasure to work with and made my day very special with very little stress. They took care of all the details for me, and everyone left happy:)

I don't know if I can accurately describe how wonderful my experience with the View was. Ralph, the manager, was exceptionally kind, flexible, helpful and just an all around pleasure to work with. He took excellent care of us during the planning stage and during the actual wedding, making sure we had everything we needed, and even tried to shoo people away from us so we could get a chance to eat on our big day, haha!!! \rThe facility, both inside and out, is lovely and absolutely elegant. Picking The View was the easiest decision that I made throughout the entire wedding process.
