This venue and their staff was amazing. Helped us through all of the steps and made things so so easy. Highly recommend this venue for great views of the mountains but still very close too the metro of Denver. The food was awesome. We had the buffet option, and ALL of our guest loved it! Awesome place, awesome people. Mackenzie was truly the beat!

We recently got married at the vista this past October. I have some very positive thoughts about the Vista, but unfortunately some not so good thoughts about the staff. Long story short we booked the Vista when there was a different wedding coordinator there. Her name was Savanna and she was fabulous. Unfortunately Savanna left and we were left with Bailey and Macey. Bailey never seemed to know what was happening with our wedding and that was frustrating. Macey always seemed bothered by our emails and was very rude. Even a few of our vendors mentioned how rude Macey was on the day of our wedding. Macey also took FOREVER to respond to questions. Jeff and Jenelle were our FAVORITE. Jeff did everything to make sure our day was perfect on the bar end. Jenelle was great but unfortunately Bailey wouldn't let us meet her until the night of our wedding which was stressful. So overall the Vista is a fabulous space and has gorgeous views, but only about half of their staff seems to genuinely care about making sure your wedding is perfect. Jeff and Jenelle want to make the bride & groom happy, while Bailey and Macey are just doing it because it's their job.

When we found out the catering manager was leaving two months before our wedding, I’ll admit I was a bit nervous. The Vista at Applewood Golf Course far exceeded our expectations of any wedding venue we toured, and we feel as though we got more than our money’s worth. Keely went above and beyond to ensure that not only was everything organized but she helped to bring our wedding vision to life. She was quick to respond to all inquiries and was very helpful in talking through all options with us. Jeff, the food and beverage manager, spent the entire evening sprinting around the reception hall ensuring that everything went off without a hitch, while also constantly checking on my husband and I to see what we needed. The food was outstanding and Chef gave us one of the most delicious meals of our life (the appetizers are to die for and the steak was perfect). The entire staff was professional, friendly, and provided outstanding service not only to us and our wedding party but our guests as well. Furthermore, the venue and the view itself is absolutely amazing - it has the real \"Colorado feel\" we were looking for and provides spectacular views from afternoon into the evening hours. I cannot tell you how many comments our guests made about the beauty and service The Vista at Applewood provided us. I would wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend this venue for your wedding or any large event!

This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding in August 2017. It was very reasonably priced and an amazing location for our outdoor ceremony, indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and indoor reception. My only complaint is that the catering director was difficult to work with. She didn't get back to my emails or questions on a timely basis and wasn't very helpful during the planning period. However, she did come through during the wedding, which I am very thankful for.

The Vista at Applewood was the perfect location for our wedding reception. With floor to ceiling windows all of our out of town guests were able to really appreciate how beautiful Colorado is in the fall. The location was a great size to allow people room to move around and yet not be dwarfed by too large a space. There is also ample parking for everyone. Best of all, the food and alcohol was very reasonably priced and we were able to provide an open bar the whole reception, much to the surprise and joy of our guests! We were fortunate to have found this place and would definitely recommend to others.

Huge thanks to The Vista for hosting our wedding and reception. The planning experience was top notch - Tara was always available and prompt with responding to questions. She was always happy to brainstorm and talk through the plan for the wedding. She made the experience very comfortable and I was able to plan the exact wedding I wanted. The ceremony garden is so beautiful! It showcases a perfect Colorado backdrop. Beautiful pictures!! The reception space was absolutely gorgeous - we received countless compliments. It absolutely exceeded my expectations! Tara and team set up the room exactly as I wanted it to look. I could not be happier about the choice to have my wedding at the Vista! Everything was just..perfect! I'm not sure where to start. First off the venue is gorgeous and was the perfect setting both for the ceremony and the reception. Second the food...amazing! All my guests raved about the food and the aesthetics. Lastly, the service went beyond my expectations! Tara was wonderful taking all of my calls and emails from the time I got in contact with her. And Miranda did a great job day of with the coordination. We couldn't be more happy! We'll be sure to refer them every chance we get! :)

Our 4th Of July wedding at Applewood Golf Course was beautiful. You were able to see all the fireworks from the dining area's large open windows and on the deck.\r\rTara was very helpful, but not overwhelming during the planning process. I wanted to plan everything myself and Tara was great about giving suggestions on everything I was unsure of. On the day of the wedding Tara was right by my side and completely guided us through the process. Time goes by very fast, and it is wonderful to have someone guide you through all the steps of a wedding. This service was a blessing and something I had not even thought about.\r\rThe venue was beautiful. They had the grass, flowers, and grounds in great shape. The ceremony site was perfect. \r\rNow, THE FOOD! The food was AMAZING! The catering manager, Geoff, was great to work with. I had many people tell us that was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. We had Beef Tenderloin and Chicken Piccata as our main dishes. Sides of green beans with roasted tomatoes, whipped garlic mashed potatoes, ceasar salad, and dinner rolls. Completely outstanding. The cocktail hour h'ordeuvres blew everyone away! \r\rWe had an open bar and 80 guests with the top of the line menu and call alcohol. Our price was just under $8000 for all the food, drink, venue, tax and help they provided. (Not including tip, decorations for ceremony site, favors, linens, flowers, etc.)\r\rOn a scale of 1-10 I would give them a 10! It is at least worth a call to Tara to get an exact price quote.\r\rAmie Peterson\r\r

We are so happy that we picked this site for our wedding! My husband and I looked at several locations, and they all felt very \"salesy\" and cookie cutter. Beautiful, but not right. When we arrived at the Vista, Tara was more than happy to show us around (bless her heart, she was 8 months pregnant at the time!). The ceremony garden was beautiful, big open space and very green. Beautiful walk to the site. And the reception hall was also gorgeous: very modern looking. It has pretty distinct colors to it, but any wedding colors will work. The pricing was very reasonable, and no site fee which was a bonus! Tara was an excellent planner up to the day and was willing to answer all of my silly questions. She even ordered a tree for us to plant for the ceremony! Geoff was the day of coordinator who was on top of everything. We dealt with A LOT of rain on wedding day, but that makes the memories more perfect. If you are as indecisive as we were about your wedding details, the people at the Vista will give you the best input and best options to make your day spectacular.

Choosing the Vista at Applewood was the best decision I made with my wedding. Tara, Geoff and their staff were AMAZING! The outdoor ceremony space was beautiful, the reception space was perfect and our guests were absolutely wowed by the food. If I had to do it all over again I would pick this venue over and over again. Tara and Geoff were an absolute pleasure to work with and was there every step of the way.

Choosing the Vista at Applewood was the best decision I made with my wedding. Tara, Geoff and their staff were AMAZING! The outdoor ceremony space was beautiful, the reception space was perfect and our guests were absolutely wowed by the food. If I had to do it all over again I would pick this venue over and over again. Tara and Geoff were an absolute pleasure to work with and was there every step of the way.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding by having our reception at The Vista at Applewood. We had our ceremony off site, so did not use the ceremony garden. Tara is absolutely amazing! In the third trimester of her pregnancy, she continued to be accommodating, flexible, and cheerful. She can help you develop an event based on any budget. We customized our buffet but also had an Italian dessert buffet made in house. I met with Tara many times and changed many things along the way, and each time, she gave valuable input to make our event special, unique, but also within our budget. Every guest we hear from raves about the decorations, the food, the mood, and everything in between. The staff at Applewood is superb, I recommend this facility to anyone for a wedding reception! It is a beautiful setting in the foothills with great views.
