Wedding Date 11-11-2022
This was the perfect venue for our wedding. Even though it rained and we had to have the ceremony inside it did not matter, the inside was beautifully done. All the guest commented on how beautiful the venue was. The food was delicious and the guests loved the buffet stations rather than being given a plated meal. The best thing about the venue was hands down Cassidy the event coordinator. She made planning the wedding so much easier, she helped answer any and all questions, she was detail oriented and quick to respond to emails or texts. She truly made the wedding day stress free for me and I am so grateful for her help in making my wedding the perfect day to remember. I cannot recommend The Waterfront at Silver Birches enough.

The Waterfront at Silver Birches (and by extension all of Settlers Hospitality Group) was the perfect choice for our wedding weekend! Chiara is INCREDIBLE- she was always available to answer our many questions (especially through the ever-changing regulations of a post-Covid world), and helped us customize every detail of our wedding. She was also there overseeing every detail on our wedding day with such enthusiasm (and we were her third wedding of the weekend)- I could not have made it through the planning without her! We had our welcome party the night prior at one of the sister properties, which was relaxed and low- key with amazing food, and continued the party through the day after with an incredible post-wedding brunch. Our guests loved being able to stay on site throughout the weekend to take advantage of the lakefront views, water sports, and live music on the patio. The food at our wedding was probably the highlight of the night- our guests were still talking about it WEEKS later! We were able to work with Chiara and the chefs and bakers to customize our menu, and it turned out even better than we could have anticipated! We've already returned for a long weekend, and can't wait to plan another event there!

My husband and I just got married at the end of July, amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Chiara and her team did an amazing job of planning everything for us. When restrictions went into place due to the virus, Chiara was quickly in touch with us to go over what they would mean for our wedding. Even when restrictions suddenly changed just two weeks before the wedding, Karen and Chiara quickly figured out solutions and made sure we didn't have to worry about anything.To anyone else, who is dealing with planning their wedding during this pandemic, I certainly know how stressful it can be. Working with Chiara and her staff meant that everything turned out wonderfully in the end, in spite of all of the obstacles. A few words of advice: You will likely have guests who choose not to come to your wedding, but that just means that those who are there will be comfortable and happy to celebrate with you. Communicating with your guests about how this wedding will be different (wearing masks, not being allowed to approach the bar, having everything outside, etc.) helps to eliminate surprises and made the wedding day less stressful.We added a lot of things to our wedding after our initial planning session, due to the virus, and Chiara was so accommodating with everything. We had red, yellow, and green bracelets for guests to take upon entry to indicate their level of comfort with interacting with others, and we made masks for guests, and Chiara made sure these were easily accessible to guests. Even with restrictions, Chiara made sure we were still able to have our Pittsburgh Cookie Table, as long as we individually packaged the cookies. We brought hand sanitizer for tables, and that was all distributed properly. My husband and I had so many worries about how the virus was going to impact our wedding, but with Chiara, Karen, and their staff in control, we really had nothing to worry about. Words cannot express how truly wonderful our day was.

I cannot say how truly thankful I am for Chiara at Silver Birches. She was so wonderful in tailoring and organizing my wedding. She was so lovely to work with and I had one of the best days of my life because of all her help. Silver Birches provided a list of all preferred vendors that we chose from and we were not disappointed. The guests loved the buffet food we had and the environment of the lodging area. We also had a bonfire after the wedding that they helped organize which was a lovely after party. Overall we could not have been happier with everything!

We are so happy we chose Silver Birches for our wedding this July. Our guests raved about the food and beautiful lake views. We booked WAY in advance (like 2 years), and we had an easy, stress-free experience from start to finish. Chiara, our wedding coordinator, was amazing. She responded to all of our questions quickly and easily and was very flexible with all of our requests. She made it possible to have our wedding exactly how we pictured it! The room block reservation process was a bit cumbersome as there was a lot of mix ups and miscommunications, but that was our only complaint. We highly recommend Silver Birches for your wedding!

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding at Silver Birches. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Several family members and friends stayed on the resort which made spending time with each other easy the days leading up to the wedding, whether itâs hanging out on the patio of the house/cottages, sitting at the firepit at night, or enjoying the outdoor games right by the lake. Family and friends are still talking about how much they loved the venue and their âmini vacationâ because of the amenities (kayaking, paddleboarding, etc.) available as well. We were sold on this venue after our tour with Karen Loeschorn. She was so helpful with any questions we had and has the friendliest personality. Karen made sure we saw everything at the resort during the tour including the inside of rooms and even set us up with lunch at the restaurant so we could try the food there. Chiara Marone, our event coordinator, did an amazing job with everything. Since we live a few hours away from the area, we had many email communications and phone calls. Chiara was very responsive and easygoing. She always made sure we had our questions answered and was so accommodating with any other requests we had. On the day of our wedding, she had everything at the ceremony organized perfectly. The reception room was even better! Chiara decorated the room even better than we imagined with the numerous decorations we dropped off to her, and even brought us snacks and drinks to our bridal suite while we relaxed for a bit by ourselves during cocktail hour! We were treated with nothing but kindness from all the staff at Silver Birches, which is the best part about this venue. This truly is a great place for a wedding and the staff is fantastic. To all of the Silver Birches teams and especially Karen and Chiara, we really appreciate everything you have done for us and we are so thankful to have celebrated our big day here!

Silver Birches is a dream venue. The location is beautiful - ceremonies are outside by the lake and the reception hall is a large, light-filled space with floor to ceiling lake views. You can stay on-site in a lake house or cottage and the venue takes care of every detail. They even have decor you can incorporate into your design (lanterns, votives, bird cage for cards, etc.) and the price they quote you includes everything: food, open bar, the wedding cake and all taxes. There are absolutely no hidden fees. But by far the best thing about Silver Birches are the staff. Everyone we dealt with was so friendly and helpful. Our day-of coordinator, Karen, was amazing. She took such good care of us on our wedding day; from bringing us drinks during photos to even giving me a hair tie at the end of the night when I desperately needed it. Itâs the little things that go a long way and make all the difference. I looked at a ton of venues both online and in person, and nothing compared to Silver Birches. If youâre looking for a stress-free wedding at a reasonable price, in a gorgeous location in the Poconos - this is it!

Silver Birches was the perfect venue for our August wedding! Even though the weather did not cooperate enough to have the ceremony outdoors, the ceremony inside went off without a hitch and was beautiful! Our guests were able to make it outside on the deck for cocktail hour and Joe and I made it outside with our photographers during dinner for some stunning lakeside pictures. Oh..and the food was amazing!! Ashley was there to answer questions every step of the way and was such a supportive part of our day. We would recommend Silver Birches to anyone!

After touring multiple venues we finally found Silver Birches which had everything we wanted, a view, rooms within walking distance from the wedding ceremony and reception, reasonable prices that include tax and tip and knowledgeable staff. Karen made us feel comfortable and confident that everything would go smoothly on our wedding day. We got married a year and a half after booking Silver Birches, Karen answered every e-mail throughout that time in a timely manner. When our wedding got closer we were introduced to Ashley who continued to answer my multiple e-mails(which increased exponentially as the wedding date crept up). Ashley met with us a few days before the wedding to answer last minute questions and to organize our additional decorations. Ashley was there to answer any questions at our rehearsal (we had our rehearsal dinner at the Boiler Room which Ashley and Karen helped set up, it is BEAUTIFUL there). On our wedding day the staff at Silver Birches arranged our decorations beautifully and Ashley walked me to the ceremony. Everything ran without a hitch. Our guests raved about the location and the food(we did buffet), which was delicious, we actually got a chance to eat.We rented the three houses on the property and our guests rented cabins and rooms. Houses cannot be reserved until January of the year you plan to rent as guests from the previous year get first dibs on the houses. The only complaint I had about this was that I was given Jenna's phone number and e-mail, we were very anxious about renting the houses so we called and e-mailed as it got closer, with no return phone calls. When I addressed this with Jenna in person and said she had not responded to my e-mails she replied \"that sounds about right\". I thought that response was a bit rude, as someone spending a lot of money at one place for the biggest day of our lives. After we did get the houses we had called frequently to check on our room block, the staff at the front desk at The Resort at Silver Birches was awesome. My now, husband called a little more frequently than he should have and they started to get to know him. Our experience renting the houses was amazing and we plan on visiting Silver Birches in the years to come!

We had our wedding at Silver Birches last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The outdoor portion of the venue and resort is gorgeous; it's right on the lake with incredible views, the pool and tiki bar are perfect for large groups, and everything on-site is easily accessible yet spaced out enough where you don't feel cramped or crowded even with other groups of people there. We had our rehearsal dinner on Friday in the Starboard room and even with another wedding going on at the same time at Silver Birches, service or the large number of wedding guests we had attending were not affected. The reception room is perfect for a large wedding, and the staff decorated it with our decor perfectly. As far as accommodations go, they have been updated beautifully, and our guests were pleasantly surprised at how nice and spacious they all were, and most of them are very affordable. Jenna, who is in charge of booking there, was so pleasant to work with. All of the staff at Silver Birches is more than accommodating. Our main wedding coordinator Ashley took care of every detail without ever adding stress to the planning process. She was very kind and thoughtful, and made our wedding day run very smoothly. I am so thankful for her! Karen was very helpful as well. The main comment we heard from our guests was how awesome the food was! Our wedding at Silver Birches was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have asked for it to go any more smoothly or any easier! Ashley and her team were absolutely outstanding with the set up of the room, more than I could have imagined. Ashley also worked hard to ensure we stayed on track with our timeline without making us feel rushed. The banquet staff was quick! We had a kiddo throw up and a dropped glass and they were there ready to clean up before anyone even knew what happened. From day one, meeting Karen and being given a tour of the property through the day after our reception, everything was perfect! Ashley made the planning process so simple and easy - honestly, no stress!! The food was incredible - we did the buffet, so many food choices - everyone raved about it! The cake was amazing! The other big thing for us was allowing everyone to stay on site for our wedding, since all families were driving 3+ hours. The Inn and lodging staff at Silver Birches was incredible and accommodating as well! Thank you all for making our wedding weekend absolutely spectacular and all we imagined (and more!)

Ashley made the planning process so simple and easy - honestly, no stress!! The food was incredible - we did the buffet, so many food choices - everyone raved about it! The cake was amazing! The other big thing for us was allowing everyone to stay on site for our wedding, since all families were driving 3+ hours. The Inn and lodging staff at Silver Birches was incredible and accommodating as well! Thank you all for making our wedding weekend absolutely spectacular and all we imagined (and more!)

My husband and I knew we wanted to have everything in one place so that we could spend the most time with friends and family and have almost exclusive access to the resort. Our wedding day went so smoothly without a hitch and I have to thank Ashley for paying attention to every detail. I didn't really have any decorations for the ceremony or the reception, but the ceremony space speaks for itself. They have a beautiful arbor at the altar and it's right on the water with a beautiful view of the lake. The reception space is where my expectations were well beyond exceeded. We went with the centerpieces that the venue supplied and they added a ton of special touches to compliment our favors which were potted succulents. We gave everything to Ashley the night before and they set everything up perfectly. The cake was the showstopper. I had only given ideas and pictures of examples, and it looked perfect. The food and cake tasted amazing, we only got great compliments from our guests. After the reception ended we were able to stay on the property because everyone stayed there. A bunch of family went up to the bar to continue the night and others went out to the bonfires. I definitely recommend getting the \"Big House\" for your wedding party. The girls got ready upstairs while the boys got ready downstairs. It was the perfect place to come back to after the wedding to hang out and celebrate some more.If you want a stress free day on a beautiful lake with a spectacular crew, then book your day sooner than later! It's well worth it!

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about this venue. From the moment we reached out to tour the venue to see if it was a fit they treated us like family. I will say we were a bit hesitant to have a same-sex wedding in the Poconos; however, those reservations quickly went out the window after touring the venue and knowing that we were not the first same-sex couple to tie the knot here. Everything leading up to the day of our wedding went smoothly. We attended a group tasting which was an event within itself where we had the opportunity to meet vendors and taste all of the food. The day of our wedding went seamlessly. Ashley, Karen, and the entire staff was phenomenal. They continually checked in on us and went the extra mile to make sure everything went well. Although it rained on our big day, our indoor ceremony was great and we were fortunate enough to have sunset pictures! If you are looking for a beautiful waterfront and affordable venue, Silver Birches should be on your short list. The quality of the food is second to none, and they offer an intimate resort atmosphere which you can also host a breakfast or rehearsal dinner (highly recommend the breakfast buffet) and your guests can stay on site. The Waterfront at Silver Birches was nothing less then exceptional. As a bride I had multiple envisions for my wedding day, Ashley, whom was our wedding coordinator, and her team made every single one of them come true. Anything I asked for, was done and If it couldn't be done they made sure another alternative was in place. Everyone was professional and welcoming from the bar staff to the wait staff and the wedding coordinator herself. I couldn't ask for a better team to help me on such an important day. Ashley made me feel like the only bride she had to work with this year, when really I know she has dozens to work with this summer alone. She was the glue that held everything together. She was always just an email or phone call away and that is extremely comforting as a bride. The venue was breathtaking. The lake of course, but it was very apparent the staff worked very hard to up keep the grounds as well. I felt like I had my own little world for my wedding. I wish I could relive this day over and over again, that is just how special and wonderful The Waterfront at Silver Birches worked. When I met Karen and her assistant, Ashley, at Ehrhardt's back in January, I immediately knew they were the ones to help me plan my wedding! Karen's sincerity and welcoming, warm personality reassured me that my wedding was not just going to be another \"job\" for her. She really does care about each and every couple and makes it her personal prerogative to ensure you have the best day ever! She is very friendly and personable and will do everything in her power to give you the day you dream of. She bent over backwards a few times for us to accommodate our wedding day needs. One example is we originally had our date set for August 2017. Circumstances changed and my groom and I had to move up our wedding date to this April. I went in early March to talk to Karen about different options for a wedding ceremony and she immediately found us a date in April and hopped on the phone to call around and make arrangements to make this wedding a reality! She coordinated with our wedding cake vendor and the cabin room's contact for our guests to stay in. We sat in her office and planned my entire wedding in an hour. She got every one on board and I was able to plan a wedding in 1 month! That is what I mean when I tell you Karen does not take her \"job\" lightly. You are not a job to her. You become family when you sign that contract and you WILL be taken care of as such. As for the serving staff, my guests could not rave enough about their excellent service! After the wedding, my guests gave me personal accounts of when a server went above and beyond their duty to help them with something. To give you an example, one of my guests was looking for a fork on the table. A server immediately, within 2 seconds of my guest looking, came over and said \"I saw you were looking for something what can I get for you?\" I mean wow! That's service you find at an all-inclusive 5 star Caribbean resort or Disney cruise line. My guests also raved about the quality of food! They must have sent back a dozen compliments to the chef on the taste and portions! My wedding day was perfect because it seriously was stress free. The Ehrhardt's staff set up our ceremony inside because of cold weather, then served the appetizers to smoothly move guests to the bar area so they could quickly set up the dining room with my centerpieces and favors included in maybe a 15 minute time frame. I've never seen a room transform so quickly and beautifully. This staff knows their stuff and all the rules of hospitality. The staff was very friendly and helpful towards my guests and made our night so enjoyable because we felt like we were taking care of at all times. Karen kept our wedding timeline punctual. She smoothly transitioned us from ceremony, to reception, from introductions to first dance to dinner to cake cutting to dancing. I never had to talk to any of my service people because she took care of everything and kept my photographers, videographer and DJ all on the same page and timeline. We had to have the ceremony inside which at first I was a little bummed because I wanted it outside on the lake. But the way Karen set up the inside, it really felt like we are on the lake. The back wall is all windows and she puts you on a raised stage so you can still see outside and see the lake. The lake was in every picture! Which was exactly what I wanted. I cannot thank Karen and her staff enough for our perfect wedding day! You will not be disappointed if you decide to get married at Ehrhardt's!

Karen, the wedding coordinator, was so calming throughout the whole planning process, and I kid you not...we didn't have to think about anything on wedding day except enjoying ourselves because the staff there took care of absolutely everything. Everyone was so professional, and so genuinely nice to be around. All of our guests were from out of town, and they're all talking about how they can't wait until the summertime to go back to Ehrhardt's to visit because it was such a great experience. Not one single detail was overlooked, including things I never would have even thought of. I really recommend Ehrhardt's to anyone who's looking for a venue. We had a small wedding (~80) guests and made some special requests to try to keep the costs down. Karen (our planner, a service included in the price!!) happily helped and made sure our reception fit in our budget. She was attentive and helpful for the entire planning process. More importantly, though, on the day of the wedding, she really went above and beyond our expectations and made us truly feel special. She escorted the grandparents to their seats and seemed to show special attention as if ours was the only wedding the venue had ever seen. It was amazing. The entire staff was professional and courteous, as well.\r\rIn addition to the exceptional quality, Ehrhardt's provided a wide array of service options, provided a wedding planner, provided set-up and tear down, AND did a big amount of the logistic work (cakes/flowers/etc) for us (all included). They even provided a list of options for DJs/bands/photographers etc (we ended up doing additional research and finding someone else to fit our needs and budget, but the service is convenient).\r\rOur reception was a buffet dinner style with hors d'oeuvres at the cocktail hour. The guests were raving about the coconut shrimp and mini-cheesesteaks (I really liked the bruschetta). After dinner, many guests commented that they were expecting the usual buffet dinner, but were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was.\r\rThey reception layout is really convenient. The bar is large and accessible without intruding on the dining/dancing area. It overlooks the lake making it extremely scenic and all of the decoration is modern and elegant. It really gives you a ton of options on how you want to add an personalize it for your own wedding reception. The hall was very comfortable for our size wedding and could easily seat more (I think it can seat in the mid to high 200s for guests??).\r\rLastly, the bar upstairs had live music planned and was a great after party hangout for us and our guests.\r\rIt was also awesome that all of our guests were able to be accommodated in the resort's rooms. A larger wedding might have some trouble, but it was more than enough for ours. The rooms were also all very nice.\r\rWe also had our rehearsal dinner in the restaurant above the hall. It was a little tight (can only accommodate 46 guests) but the food was excellent, the ice cream bar was super fun for everyone, and the service was extraordinary.\r\rAs you can see, we were really happy with our service. I believe that IF your wedding pushed the limits of the hall's capacity, it could get a little crowded. The good side is that there is plenty of space near the bar, and a deck (if it's warm) for people to spread out after the dinner. But as for the service, there is literally nothing that made me say to myself, \"wow I wish she would've done X.\" Karen and the staff way exceeded our expectations.

When searching for a venue we didn't just want any old fire hall, but we also didn't want to bust our budget on the venue. Ehrhardt's Waterfront was the perfect compromise - not only did we have a gorgeous lakeside backdrop for our outdoor ceremony, but the indoor reception hall was absolutely beautiful. Having both events on site was extremely helpful and fluid. Not to mention that they took care of all the food, booze, even the wedding cake! For everything included in the price, it really couldn't have gotten any better. \r\rKaren Loeschorn and Eric Ehrhardt were extremely pleasant to work with, as well as their entire staff. I cannot say enough good things about Karen. She was there every step of the way to make things perfect for my husband and I. She put together everything exactly the way I had envisioned it and coordinated with the vendors seamlessly. She is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to work with on such an important event, and I am so glad I had the chance to meet her. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Everyone at Ehrhardt's was so nice, even the wait staff. Mike, the restaurant manager, did an amazing job at putting together our rehearsal dinner the night before, and Sue Ehrhardt at the resort made sure all our guests, including us, were set up with rooms and accommodations on the beautiful lake.\r\rThe ceremony, reception, weather, sunset - everything was absolutely beautiful. Last fall, we were researching and visiting wedding venues to find the perfect place to get married. We had initially planned to get married in Hawaii but we looked around locally just to see if there was a place that could match the beauty of Hawaii but would be more convenient for our family and friends. We found what we were looking for in Ehrhardts, it was perfect! It was beautiful, the food was amazing and everyone is so genuine and nice there. The view of the lake is breathtaking! My husband and I viewed many different locations in our area for our reception to be held. We instantly fell in love with Ehrhardtâs Waterfront Resort. Not only were we amazed with the beautiful view of the lake, but we were amazed with the professionalism of each of the staff members. All of the banquet staff was very accommodating and extremely easy to work with â especially Eric Ehrhardt and Karen Loeschorn. We couldnât have been happier knowing that Karen was available anytime of the day to answer any of our questions or concerns along the way; and worked with us to ensure that everything was in order for our special day. Our reception was picture perfect; from the sun glistening off the water, to the lovely sunset that set behind the dock and lake. The banquet room was elegant and the food was delicious! It has been two months since our wedding, and our guests are still talking about the food and how much fun they had! We would definitely, highly recommend Ehrhardtâs to anyone for any occasion.

We just got married at Ehrhardt's on 6/7/14. If you are looking for a wedding on the water, near the poconos, this is the place to go. From the moment we booked to the thank you card and champagne signed by all the staff, Ehrhardt's went above and beyond our expectations. Our wedding was perfect. Karen (the wedding coordinator) helps to make everything run so smooth, and to ensure you can take a break and enjoy the day. It was so fun having many of our guests stay on the property...kind of like a nearby destination wedding. We also did our rehearsal dinner and sunday breakfast buffet on property. The food is outstanding...all our guests raved about it. Also we rented firewood and had all our guests stay for a bonfire on the lake after the reception....so much fun!!! Not to mention, this was one of the most affordable venues that we looked at (we live in Philadelphia). I will recommend Ehrhardt's to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and gorgeous ballroom with huge outdoor deck right on Lake Wallenpaupack.

When we found Ehrhardts we were relieved. We didn't have to worry about anything. They did it all. All we had to do was pretty much show up. The ceremony was exactly what we wanted elegant yet not over done. And the grounds were perfect for the pictures. We got a lot of really good ones by the lake. Reception we couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere. The staff was helpful and on top of everything. We were very impressed and weren't expecting all that we got from ehrhardts. It was the perfect place for us and we had a wonderful day. The food was out of this world delicious. They really made our day the PERFECT DAY!

My husband and I are both from northeast PA. We have been to many weddings at the \"same old\" venues. When we started to plan our wedding we wanted something different, but amazing. Ehrhardts was the perfect choice; it was a destination feel without the extreme traveling. Not only did we have an amazing time, but many of our guests told us it was the best wedding that they had ever been at. The food was great and the views were spectacular. Everyone felt like they were away at the lake. The atmosphere at Ehrhardts is something you can not get at any old banquet hall. \r\rI have to say that I was not overly excited to plan my wedding, at first; I knew that my to-do list would be never ending. However, from the first meeting with Diane and the staff at Ehrhardts until the last dance at my wedding, I felt special. Diane and the staff are so kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make the day perfect! There is not a bad thing I could think of to say about Ehrhardts. The process of planning our wedding to the execution of the wedding was so easy and the day was amazing. My husband and I hope to go back for our anniversary and would love to make it a yearly getaway with our growing family ! \r\r

My husband and I are both locals and have been to Ehrhardtâs for many events throughout the years (Christmas parties, various weddings, motherâs day, etc.) and so when it came time to select a location for our wedding it was a no brainer! Everything about our wedding day was picture perfect from start to finish. We had chosen to have a winter wedding in January and it turned out to be a beautiful, 50 degree day and had just snowed earlier that week so the backdrop was breath taking. We had an indoor ceremony overlooking the lake with our reception to follow. Eric, Diane and the rest of the banquet staff were so accommodating and super easy to work with and the food was delicious. I was a bit concerned at first about having my ceremony and reception all in the same location but I was thoroughly surprised at how fast and flawless the staff was able to transform the room from ceremony to reception without missing a beat. From day one Diane made herself available to answer any questions we might have along the way and she worked with us to ensure that everything we wanted was in order for our big day. Thanks to her I had no worries and the planning process was a breeze! A special thanks to the entire staff, we could not have asked for a better way to start our lives together, we would highly recommend Ehrhardtâs Waterfront Resort to anyone looking to get married in the Poconos!

My husband and I are both locals and have been to Ehrhardtâs for many events throughout the years (Christmas parties, various weddings, motherâs day, etc.) and so when it came time to select a location for our wedding it was a no brainer! Everything about our wedding day was picture perfect from start to finish. We had chosen to have a winter wedding in January and it turned out to be a beautiful, 50 degree day and had just snowed earlier that week so the backdrop was breath taking. We had an indoor ceremony overlooking the lake with our reception to follow. Eric, Diane and the rest of the banquet staff were so accommodating and super easy to work with and the food was delicious. I was a bit concerned at first about having my ceremony and reception all in the same location but I was thoroughly surprised at how fast and flawless the staff was able to transform the room from ceremony to reception without missing a beat. From day one Diane made herself available to answer any questions we might have along the way and she worked with us to ensure that everything we wanted was in order for our big day. Thanks to her I had no worries and the planning process was a breeze! A special thanks to the entire staff, we could not have asked for a better way to start our lives together, we would highly recommend Ehrhardtâs Waterfront Resort to anyone looking to get married in the Poconos!

There was never a doubt in our minds that our daughter's wedding would be at Ehrhardts! We are from the area and we have attended other weddings and functions at this resort. They always do a wonderful job and we knew they would do everything possible to make this a memorable day for all of us. And we were not disappointed! Diane, the wedding coordinator, was so great to work with. From the beginning planning stages through to the closing song, she was attentive in every way! She always returned emails promptly, reassured us in her calm and sweet manner, attended to all our requests, made suggestions that we valued because of her experience, and even walked beside our daughter to make sure she was delivered to her father safely from the boat, which brought her and her bridal party to the ceremony on the lawn. What a setting they have there! Overlooking Lake Wallenpaupack, our guests were treated to the beauty and peacefulness of our area and, after a brief storm (which was handled expertly by Eric, Diane and their staff), we witnessed a gorgeous sunset over the lake! Our guests were also treated royally and all raved about the food on the stations buffet! If you are looking for a wedding venue in the Poconos, we highly recommend Ehrhardt's Waterfront Resort. It is first class all the way, reasonably priced, and you will be treated like family!

The entire planning process was a breeze - I have a few food allergies so the menus were easily amended to accommodate that. \r\rOn our wedding day, there were no worries at all⊠the place was immaculate, the food was delicious, and the service was simply outstanding. I still have family raving to me about the London Broil and Vegetable Medley that was served! We worked with a few of the recommended vendors and werenât disappointed â itâs clear that they wonât recommend anyone that doesnât meet their same standards. We had quite a bit of family & friends travel in for the entire weekend and stay at the resort â they loved it! It was so convenient! \r\rIâve worked for prestigious hotel companies in the US who pride themselves in service, so I can be hard to impress at times â and Ehrhardtâs definitely did not disappoint! If you are looking here and choose to go elsewhere, that would be a big mistake!

We got so lucky! This was an awesome find...not only do you have incredible food, great scenery, private area but you also get a wedding coordinator who you can completely trust. I was blown away & plan on returning for our anniversary next year...to either stay or just to eat at their resturant :)

My wedding was like a fairytale here. Everything was so gorgeous and perfect in every way. The ceremony is right by the lake giving a fabulous view. I came in on my now brother in law's boat for the ceremony and it was truly amazing!!! I couldn't imagine a better location for the money. The food was to die for, people who attended my wedding are still raving about it 2 weeks later. As far as I am concerned the buffet stations in the way to go, you get a ton of food and variety. It was hard to be able to taste everything there because there was so much food. At 85 dollars a person for prime rib and a pasta station, I believe it was well worth every penny spent.
