If I could give more than five stars I would. This comes from someone who hardly ever writes reviews and is sometimes skeptical about reviews that \"give more than five stars\". I genuinely mean that I would give more than five stars though. From the moment I toured the property, all staff I interacted with felt welcomed. I had the opportunity to work with Melissa as my venue coordinator and she was wonderful. From the moment we first started working together she answered all of my questions and went out of her way to accommodate my schedule. It gave us great peace of mind knowing we were in such capable hands. Enough cannot be said about the wedding itself. The catering team was attentive to my husband and me, always within reach with a smile for whatever we needed. They were also very attentive to all of our guests, so much so that multiple guests commented that they felt like a guest of honor. An example that best sums this up is that my mother was talking to guests while dinner was being served. When she returned to her table the other guests there had their meals but hers was not on the table. A staff member helped her into her seat and another promptly brought her dinner which they said they had been keeping warm for her. This property is a beautiful venue that created the perfect setting for our wedding but what really knocked it all out of the park was the service and the people we interacted with. Every little detail was attended to and I cannot thank everyone we interacted with enough.

Like many couples, we had to reschedule our wedding from its original date due to the Coronavirus, but due to unforeseen conflicts, we also had to relocate our venue, and we ended up choosing the Waterfront Beach Resort for its beautiful setting and fantastic amenities. We worked with Vanessa throughout the near-entirety of our time coordinating with the Waterfront Beach Resort, and Vanessa was incredible at being very responsive to our numerous emails and meticulously answering each question in detail. She helped work through the many nuances and details of our wedding, which included a tea ceremony component during the early afternoon in addition to the ceremony and reception.The one slight hiccup occurred the week of our wedding, when we were told that Vanessa would be on vacation the weekend of our wedding, and Nancy and Semrin would be taking over. Unfortunately, there were some details that were not completely conveyed through, so the morning of the wedding did feature some stressful last-minute reminders to correct a few detail items. However, ultimately, Nancy and Semrin came through and helped make the day a wonderful experience (Semrin even get us into the rooftop bar for some wedding party photography before it opened to the public). Our wedding ceremony at the Vista Lawn and the reception in the Coastal Ballroom were beautiful, and our whole set-up was super well organized and convenient. Our guests also raved about the fantastic food throughout the evening, from the hors d'oeuvres to the main courses to the ice cream sundae bar and taco bar we had. The bar staff was also super attentive with making sure we had beverages when we needed them. Overall, we have zero regrets about going with the Waterfront Beach Resort and are so thankful for their part in making our memory one to remember for the rest of our lives!

There are no words that can express how much we LOVED having our wedding at the Waterfront. From the minute we met Angie, we knew this place was for us. Angie was very thorough with the services the venue provided and answered every, and I mean EVERY question we had. Due to covid, we had to change venues. And we are so glad we did! Since we already had a vision in mind, Angie helped us transfer that image, and more at the waterfront. We had specific demands such as a white stage, acrylic tables, white dance floor, etc. Angie worked with my planner and us to find us the best vendors and, helped us find the best bang for our buck. We also had a budget that we tried to stay within. Angie & the Waterfront team worked with us to stay within budget and still give us the wedding of our dreams. The food was AMAZING! We had our guests choose between the braised short ribs and salmon. Till this day our guests are still telling us about how amazing the food was. Iām hoping we can go back just to eat the meals. We hosted both our rehearsal dinner and wedding at the waterfront. Now, when I tell you they have amazing service, I mean AMAZING! At the rehearsal, I always had a drink in my hand because the team always made sure I had one. They want you to feel comfortable and at ease. At the wedding reception, same thing! I never had to go to the bar because there was always a drink handed to me. When we checked into the hotel the night before, Angie not only got us the best suite so my bridesmaids and I could get ready in and then stay in the night of, but also she sent over drinks and snacks for us! She also had this worked out the night of the wedding! The service was so unexpected and just impecable. Even when I was stressed because we had a lot of items to drop off at the venue before our rehearsal, Angie just came with her team and took care of everything. Overall, I give Angie and the Waterfront team a 10/10. If you want a venue with amazing service, is very knowledgeable about the wedding industry, has amazing connections, and an overall BEAUTIFUL landscape, then the waterfront is the place to be āŗļøThank you Angie and the Waterfront team! If we could have our wedding all over again we would!

We had our wedding at the Waterfront on May 8, 2021 and it was amazing! After postponing twice, having a small ceremony in September on the Pacific terrace, to having our big wedding in Coastal Ballroom in May, everything went perfectly and just as we had envisioned. We worked with Angie as our coordinator and she is truly the best! She was easy going and fun to work with and made the planning process as seamless as possible, especially since we live out of state. She really listened to our wants and needs and helped us find a package that was perfect for our guests. Many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and the food was incredible! We could not have had a better experience at the Waterfront Beach Resort!

These past few months have been a roller coaster ride especially if you're a couple planning a wedding amidst the pandemic. Our original wedding date was in May 2020 but we had to postpone until September.Our plans were diverted outdoors because it was impossible to host a reception with 300+ guests inside the Breakwater Ballroom. Our guest list was cut in half to abide by the guidelines. We were lucky to have worked with Vanessa, the Catering Director. She accommodated us and kept us informed as Orange County was going through the lock down and then the reopening phase. We were able to pull off a COVID wedding safely with the assistance of our Wedding Coordinator and the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort staff.Our banquet tables were set up in the Vista Lawns overlooking Huntington Beach. The weather was perfect that day except for a light breeze. Heat lamps were in use for the evening hours. Dinner was served with the sunset in the backdrop. My husband and I were overjoyed to have had our wedding celebration at this beautiful venue. If you want an elegant atmosphere but not too posh then this hotel/resort is the perfect choice! Thank you for making our special day more than memorable!

My wife and I got married here on 9/6/20. We could not be happier about our choice of venue! We loved everything about our wedding and even during a pandemic The Waterfront was able to make us feel safe and still let us enjoy our wonderful celebration. Angie and Nancy at the hotel were a huge help to the planning of our wedding and made it run so smoothly. If you are thinking about having your wedding here, I would say do it!

Knowing that planning our wedding was going to be a little different/difficult in 2020, the Hilton staff was SO accommodating and never batted an eye that we wouldn't be able to make our special day happen! Angie Florence, Nancy Digiorgio and Monique Atwell(A Signature Wedding), were extremely helpful and positive throughout the entire process of planning and execution!Church, the Banquet Manager was incredibly supportive and made my husband and I feel very special on the day of the wedding!I HIGHLY recommend this Hotel/staff for your big day! If they can provide great, professional service, and accommodate during a pandemic while being short staffed, I can't imagine how amazing they would be during normal times! :)

We spent a few months looking for the perfect venue that would accommodate a \"toes in the sand\" beach ceremony and a ballroom reception, looking at most of SoCal beach city venues. We finally found the perfect one in Huntington Beach, and that was the Waterfront Beach Resort by Hilton. Their location is phenomenal and the roof top bar provides incredible views for short gatherings before and after all your wedding weekend plans. From our first initial contact to inquire, we got a speedy response from Angie who provided a lot of information to get ahead of any questions we had. The entire process from start to finish was always on point, and we reached out to Angie and her team and always got a rapid response back. Food and service were above standards expected and was displayed beautifully and equally delicious. Our guests said that this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. Thank you so much to Angie and all of the Hilton staff for making this the best day and weekend celebration of our lives!

We spent a few months looking for the perfect venue that would accommodate a \"toes in the sand\" beach ceremony and a ballroom reception, looking at most of SoCal beach city venues. We finally found the perfect one in Huntington Beach, and that was the Waterfront Beach Resort by Hilton. Their location is phenomenal and the roof top bar provides incredible views for short gatherings before and after all your wedding weekend plans. From our first initial contact to inquire, we got a speedy response from Angie who provided a lot of information to get ahead of any questions we had. The entire process from start to finish was always on point, and we reached out to Angie and her team and always got a rapid response back. Food and service were above standards expected and was displayed beautifully and equally delicious. Our guests said that this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. Thank you so much to Angie and all of the Hilton staff for making this the best day and weekend celebration of our lives!

Hotel & staff were fabulous. Contract & booking process was made easy by super attentive planner Angie. Location was fabulous & service was superb. During the reception, the fantastic desserts were going fast, even though we had ordered plenty. One staff member was especially thoughtful. She saved dessert plates for us coz she knew as parents we had not had a chance to eat them. She made sure we got our share at the end of the night. They even saved the numerous flower arrangements overnight in the fridge for me. Everyone was very supportive and worked through every detail going above and beyond their call of duty. Minor issues with room allocations were handled well. And all our numerous requests right from luggage delivery, goody bag delivery, to saving flower arrangements were all handled well with a smile. We had a lot of rooms, over 350 guests, delayed and cancelled flights, so you can imagine the kinds of issues the staff had to deal with. They came through marvelously !Our guests are still raving about the wedding and the location. It was truly a magical weekend.Kudos to the Waterfront Hotel and Staff.

The Waterfront is perfectly located on PCH in Huntington Beach where guests could enjoy the beach and the nearby restaurants and bars. The Vista lawn was STUNNING for the ceremony! I couldnāt have envisioned a more romantic, beautiful setting to have my dream wedding. All of the guests raved about the ceremony, the cocktail hour that faced the ocean, and the Coastal ballroom that fit 150 perfectly. If you are looking to actually enjoy the food at a wedding, the Waterfront is probably the only venue you should consider. As an Italian bride who had been to dozens of weddings before my own, I honestly set my expectations low. I told myself that no one enjoys wedding food so that I wouldnāt be disappointed. Fast forward to our buffet and we had guests coming up to our families to specifically tell them that the food was amazing. Even my chef-aunt, an educated critique, told me she was impressed with the food. They made me an entire fresh plate of ravioli after photos!!! The Waterfront does absolutely whatever they can to make the couple and their families happy. They go over and above to make sure they have everything exactly how you want it, and most importantly they are so nice about it! If you want a perfect beach wedding on all levels, book it!! My husband and I got married on the vista lawns at the end of September here. Absolutely stunning venue. The planning process was made very simple with the help of Vanessa- she was wonderful to work with. Everything at the hotel is new- which was a big factor in our decision to have our wedding here. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel (half and half between the two towers). Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the weekend. We had family and friends traveling from out of state so this was a great spot to enjoy a vacation for them. I cannot say enough praise for the entire staff here as well as our other vendors- most of whom we selected from the preferred vendor list provided. It was an absolutely perfect day and weekend and I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to get married in Southern California. We will definitely be returning to stay here again and relive the memories of our wedding weekend.

Our wedding was a dream! We decided to have our wedding at the Waterfront before the banquet hall was finished being built and I have to say that the end result was more than we could have ever imagined! We feel so lucky to have been one of the first weddings at this beautiful venue because it is going to be one of the top places to have a wedding in Orange County. So many of our friends and family inquired about the hotel after our wedding. Our banquet hall is a big space but didnāt give the feeling of being too big. I am super picky about details but I loved every part of the room. The chandeliers and mirrored walls give it a modern yet elegant touch. I didnāt need to drape the hall, I felt that the walls gave it character. Our cocktail hour was on the new, gorgeous lawn. Our guests enjoyed cocktails and hor d oeuvres beside a water fountain and of course a view of the ocean. It was breathtaking and perfect for pictures. We worked with Angie Florence, the Catering Manager at the hotel. Angie and her team were so on top of it! They were so helpful and attentive throughout the whole process, asking questions, responding to emails and doing everything possible to make sure the day ran smoothly. And it did. I couldnāt have asked for a better staff. The Hilton Waterfront was the perfect place for our wedding and I am so happy with our decision.

Loved working with Angie & Faye during the planning process. It was stressful with so many delays in the venue completion but both these ladies never got tired of my multiple check ins during the process. The STAFF AMAZING!!!! FOM saved us with the many room check ins & I cant thank the night security manager enough, we had a huge issue with our vendor who was supposed to drop off the car for the entrance/exit & the staff helped us call hotels all around checked in with us multiple times to the point where the manager felt so horrible for our situation went home switched cars with his wife and came back with a convertible for us!!! Let me tell you CUSTOMER SERVICE ON POINT!!! Value got marked down because there were hiccups that occurred with construction that made us feel like the rate should of been decreased a bit for the inconvenience , flexibility well because like any hotel venue nickel & dime for every little thing even when it was a set up from the same vendors that were already approved. Overall the feeling of getting married at waterfront was nothing but amazing and still feels like a fairy tale when I see the pictures!

I am so glad we chose this place for our wedding. You get so much for the price! I am so glad to have worked with Vanessa! I have nothing but good things to say, from the time we first toured the location, to the days leading up to our wedding, we have received quality service. When we first toured the venue, there was a complimentary champagne waiting for us in our room, and honestly that's probably one of the reasons why we picked them! Right off the bat, they gave me the impression that they are organized and that is very important to me. We did not hire a wedding planner for our wedding, but it didn't seem like I needed one since Vanessa was very responsive and helpful the entire time. They took very good care of us. We really felt like a VIP at Hilton that weekend!The minute we parked our car for valet, we were immediately recognized by the staff. They knew us by name! They really made us feel special. We were legit VIPs while we were there.The place is beautiful! If you are one of those Instagrammers, this place has a lot of 'gram opportunities (they have nice interiors!). They have expanded the place and it had gotten so much better. I promise you won't be disappointed! I am so glad we picked this venue. I highly recommend this for a wedding, or for any event, due to their outstanding service. Every single one of their staff is so nice, helpful and very professional.

To be honest, I wasn't hopeful about this place pretty much leading up to the wedding. We had originally booked our reception to be in the new construction ballroom which was supposed to be done June 2017. We got the call late June that it wouldn't be done in time and that we'd have the option to keep it in the old ballroom, which looked a bit rundown relative to the mock ups of the new space. However, Kamran and Nancy worked with us to ensure that the day was perfect. When we first walked into the ballroom, we were floored. This was the first venue we looked at and knew it was the one. We had our ceremony on the Terrace overlooking the ocean and it was beautiful. We needed very little decoration since the background was already so perfect. Our reception was in the Tides Ballroom and was everything we pictured. Angie was so great and patient working with us to finalize all the details. Joseph with reservations was our main contact for reservations and he was so quick to help update rooms or add a reservation for us. When it came time for our actual wedding weekend, the entire staff at the hotel was so accommodating. Anytime I called for something, they brought it right away and added notes I requested to specific reservations. Our guests raved about how great their rooms were, how delicious the food was at our reception and how pretty everything looked. If you are on the fence about whether to choose this place for your venue, don't be! I did so much research before I booked all of my wedding vendors and can say with complete confidence that our wedding wouldn't have been as wonderful as it was if we had had it somewhere else.

Having our wedding at The Waterfront Beach Resort was such a good decision! We are truly lucky to have had the perfect wedding and we owe so much to Angie and her team for making this happen. Anything I needed help with was only a phone call or email away. So responsive and professional!\r\rWhen it came to our wedding, it was beautiful of course, but the beauty was enhanced by all the beauty around us at this hotel. From the marble lobby with the sweeping double staircase, to the gorgeous pool, to the ocean view, the Waterfront is the premier beach hotel in Huntington Beach. The Pacific Terrace looks over and ocean and the adjoining Pacific Ballroom creates an intimate, private area for you and your guests to enjoy your event.\r\rHotel food, usually so-so. This is NOT hotel food. This is amazing restaurant quality entrees and yummy customizable salads. I had so many guests compliment the food during our reception, I myself finished everything on my plate!\r\rAnother stellar thing about this venue is the amazing service provided by the banquet staff. We had our ceremony and reception at the Hilton Waterfront. The ceremony was outdoor under the gazebo and the reception was at the pacific ballroom. We loved this venue and the wedding team at the Hilton was fantastic. We worked with Vanessa, she was great with everything and gave us good advice on hiring vendors, the only complain I have is that she was not there herself on the day of the wedding. Although I'm in general very happy with how everything turned out there were some confusions with our bridal party and parents not knowing exactly where to go before and after the reception on the site that could've been avoided easily if a Hilton representative was there to direct them. Overall we were very happy with our wedding, the food was great (we had the Steak & Salmon), the room was gorgeous overlooking the ocean, and the staff was professional. I have to say that this venue was very expensive and I went way over my budget but it was a high quality venue. I'm glad that they included a wedding planner in their ceremony package, which was so helpful. Working with Kathy Nosek and the Waterfront Hilton team for our rehearsal dinner and wedding was a truly wonderful experience. Everything was absolutely perfect and beautiful. The food was delicious and all of our guests were raving about how good the food and drinks were. The whole team made us feel very welcome and were willing to accommodate all of our needs. They made sure I had everything I needed on my wedding day and were all so sweet. I really liked that the Hilton offered a wedding package that included food, alcohol, a cake, a wedding planner, and many other items. It made it easier on our budget and easier to manage and plan. They also have a fabulous wedding menu tasting in which you get to try all the dinner entrees along with wines, champagne, appetizers, and salads. Most places donāt allow you to try everything. For our rehearsal dinner, we were able to plan a customized menu with Kathy and the head chef. The food was exactly how we envisioned it and exceeded all of our expectations! Our honeymoon suite was beautiful and had the most amazing view. I would definitely recommend the waterfront Hilton to any couple wanting a beautiful, yet reasonably priced wedding venue. I looked at many other beach locations in both southern California and central California and could not find anything that compared to the Hilton and was also reasonably priced.

You feel like you are in someone's beautiful family room with a bar area, fireplace, pool table, TV, and spacious table / couch areas. Very warm and cozy but sophisticated and classy. The wait staff is outstanding and Vanessa (Sr. Catering Sales Mgr) was very professional and easy to deal with. Overall, we highly recommend the Waterfront.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Kathy at the Hilton. I was sold when I saw the venue, the outdoor pavilion which was perfect for our summer wedding with 250 guests. My husband was sold when he found out that they can serve Wahoo's fish tacos and procure a keg of his favorite craft beer. Kathy was friendly, patient, knowledgable, responsive, organized - basically I couldn't have asked for anything more! The reception was so much fun, I was blown away by how beautiful the setup was both inside and outside the pavilion. Though I didn't get to eat much food the day of, all of our guests absolutely loved it. Thank you Kathy and all of the Hilton staff!

When my daughter Marly got engaged we looked at a lot of possible venues, but when we went to the Waterfront we were blown away by the location and attention we were given. Once we met with the wedding staff we knew we had found a great facility to make my daughter's special day seamless. Kathy, Emily, Vanessa and the whole staff were amazing. Very attentive as well as intuitive regarding what we were trying to accomplish.. A great vendor makes the job seamless during the planning and event day and the staff were amazing. Not only did they do a fabulous job at the location, their planning assistance and creativity was beyond all expectation. They listened to my daughter's vision for a traditional white ceremony and a bright Caribbean party reception and made it happen. The venue also includes a planner for the month before the wedding and Wendy Dahl with Chic Productions was indispensable. I would recommend the Waterfront for any event, large or small, no matter how simple or elaborate. You guys are amazing.....

We originally planned on getting married in a courthouse and after registering for our marriage license realized the courthouse was just not for us. I am a hotel event manager who planned her own wedding so you can only imagine how detailed I was as well as how high my expectations were. Although it is a pricier venue, their facilitates has a lot of essentials (catering, cake- out sourced, ceremony site option with wedding coordinator, beautiful ballroom selections, etc.). The location and picturesque hotel alone are worth the price tag. We were married outside in their gorgeous gazebo, our cocktail reception on the terrace overlooking the ocean, and our reception in the stunning pacific ballroom. \r\rThey also have amazing staff that are always available to help you in person, by phone or email. I was in constant communication with their fabulous staff (Big thank you to Kathy!). We got married at The Waterfront Beach Resort in March of 2011. Throughout the short (3 months) planning phase we worked with Kathy and Vanessa. They both were always a available to consult and provide feedback. Working with this team gave us the sense that they genuinely cared about all of the details of our wedding. There was not one detail ignored. We were able to have our wedding ceremony on the beach and then have our first dance on a plexi-glass dance floor over the pool. Then we went and had our reception upstairs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Our guests raved about the food, especially the crab cakes! To top it off when we got back to our hotel room that night we found roses, champagne, and a picture of us framed from the wedding in our room. It felt like we didn't have any worries in the world that day! Since we got married we go back to The Waterfront Beach Resort every year for our anniversary. It's so nice because it feels like we get to relive the experience all over again. Recommend this location and team 100%!!!!!

There are lots of places with an ocean view but none that we found as gorgeous and stylish as the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort that was pleasantly affordable. The Hilton Waterfront was not only the most impressive and beautiful, they rocked it when it came to supreme service. Our guests are still calling and e-mailing their delight! The town is still a-buzz about what a blast our Sunday evening reception was. Kathy Nosek and the entire catering staff covered every detail and more importantly, lead us through the evening at a perfect pace. Our reception was staged with lots of details......we wanted our guests to enjoy cocktails and appetizers on the verranda overlooking the ocean while the sun set. Once we greeted everyone, the Hilton wisked us and our photographer over to the beach for a 15 minute escape to capture some romantic photo ops along the shoreline. The pictures were spectacular! Most of our guests didn' teven know we were gone. We re-joined the cocktail hour with plenty of mingle time and loved our friends' remarks that the appetizers were delicious. (The coconut shrimp was to die for!) Dinner was flawless.....we had the filet and salmon, perfect tenderness, elegant sauces, hot and fresh.\r The evening went on from there in top style with cake service and dancing. The most impressive thing about the service at the Hilton Waterfront is that they have thought of everything. We attended a tasting event a month before which gave us the opportunity to sample everything. Their food is very impressive and beautifully presented. \r Lastly, the staff went all the way, helped us offer the best presentation within our budget and gave us extras. We feel lucky to have had Kathy, Vanessa and Church to make our wedding incredible!

But every few of them have the charm , feel and perfect price point as the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort. I have had 7 couples get married there since last year and each experience keeps getting better. I would highly recommend the Hilton Waterfront to anyone who wants wonderful food, beautiful ocean view ballrooms and guest sleeping rooms, along with unparallelled guest service by all the staff

Everyone from this venue did their best for our Wedding. I expected good Service, but they were way above what I thought was even possible. The Hotel Manager was even better than our Wedding coordinator! Guests said it was one of the most classy Wedding they have ever been to and it would be not be possible if it wasn't for the truly amazing service at this venue.

Everyone from this venue did their best for our Wedding. I expected good Service, but they were way above what I thought was even possible. The Hotel Manager was even better than our Wedding coordinator! I never knew how they can set up a bridal shower in the middle of busy day such as Cinco de Mayo at Shades Restaurant! But they can! Find Chef Ben! He makes the best finger foods, salads and desserts for my bridal shower - EVER! Our waiter was very attentive from the very beginning til the very end and very helpful to all of us women! I admire his patience .. lol\rThey placed us right in the corner of the outdoor patio with the best view for pictures, too! None of us knew that and now we do! \rWe stayed for almost 4 hours and had a blast! Now it's your turn!

So glad we chose The Waterfront Beach Resort as our venue! The hotel is beautiful with such great people working there, down to the waitstaff who were so nice and accomodating. Our guests felt right at home. We got married on the pool deck, and it was such a gorgeous place to get married, with the pool and beach background, with sunlight filtering through the palm trees. The pictures were magical. And with the close proximity to the beach, we were able to sneak away for on-the-beach photos to make it back in time for the Grand Entrance!

From the get-go, she was extraordinarily helpful and responsive. She made sure we had everything we wanted and needed and worked agreeably with our planners on a very tight budget. Our wedding suite was absolutely spectacular, and all of the hotel staff gave us star treatment and made our stay one we will never forget. Our 350 guests were really impressed by the location, venue, and the accomodation they received as well. I highly recommend this venue!

I am so happy with how my wedding reception turned out at the Waterfront Hilton. We had 90 guests in the Cielo Mare room and it was the perfect amount of space. The service was excellent. Several of the guests commented that the staff was very professional and the food was delicious. We worked with Danielle at the hotel and she was very helpful during our preparation and planning. She was very responsive by email or phone and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this venue.

She made a huge first impression on us and we are so thankful to have worked with her! We had a large room block and all our guests commented on the amazing rooms and customer service. They really worked with us to ensure we were getting the wedding we envisioned and they made it a really fun experience. They constantly kept us in the loop and were always there whenever we needed anything. We loved the event they put on for the menu tasting which just made us more excited for our special day. The food was amazing; the staff was so accommodating and went out of their way to provide exceptional service. I loved the room my reception was held in. I was very happy with the service that was provided to me and all of my guests.;I had my ceremony outside by the pool, the Hilton kept the pool open and there were kids swimming in the pool during the ceremony. I wish they could have shut the pool down for my half hour ceremony.
