The staff at the Waterview is absolutely wonderful. They took my wedding vision and made it come to life! They were so accommodating & helpful throughout the wedding process. Our coordinator, Kat, was fantastic and really helped to make our dream come true. The bridal attendant Lisa was very attentive to my needs the day of and knew exactly what I needed without me even asking. The venue is GORGEOUS and perfect for a wedding or event any time of year. Cant recommend it enough & everyone had so much fun!

The staff at the Waterview is absolutely wonderful. They took my wedding vision and made it come to life! They were so accommodating & helpful throughout the wedding process. Our coordinator, Kat, was fantastic and really helped to make our dream come true. The bridal attendant Lisa was very attentive to my needs the day of and knew exactly what I needed without me even asking. The venue is GORGEOUS and perfect for a wedding or event any time of year. Cant recommend it enough & everyone had so much fun!

We were very pleased with our wedding! All of our guests were impressed by the professionalism, the food, and the service. The coordinator was wonderful and checked in with us throughout the day. All of the decorations were set up exactly how I specified in my directions. The bridal attendant was also very attentive. The bar staff was also very efficient and kind, serving my husband and I right when we got up to the bar, so we never had to wait for a drink. There was only one âhiccupâ during the day (we had requested cupcakes but they made a cake instead), but it was a blip that only I knew about/noticed. The coordinator also offered to discuss with management about a possible refund due to the mistake, which was good customer service. I havenât heard back yet so I am not sure if I will get reimbursed, but the offer was thoughtful anyway.

The Waterview was absolutely phenomenal. They gave me the best wedding planner - Zuleika went above and beyond to make sure I had the perfect day. We had both our wedding ceremony & reception here and it was the BEST day of our lives!!! Our wedding coordinator, Zulieka, was phenominal and walked us through all of the planning. As the bride, my family was putting a ton of pressure on me for my big dayâwith seating, who was invited, music, the ceremony, transportation, etc...However, everything came together beautifully on our wedding day and I am just so grateful for all the staff at The Waterview. It was truly the PERFECT day in every way. The location was beautiful, the weather was perfect, the food was excellent, and the staff were all so attentive and kind. This venue truly took my husband and I's breath away. The second we saw it, we knew that this location is where we wanted get married. I could truly not have asked for a better experience with The Waterview. Every single question I asked was answered and every single possible issue that could arise during a wedding was planned for and accounted for in our timeline. The day of my wedding, it was expected to rain and naturally I was upset. My EXCEPTIONAL wedding coordinator Zuleika and her team were so patient and waited until 10 minutes before the ceremony to allow me to decide if I wanted the ceremony inside our outside. Luckily, the venue set up for both inside and out for me and we were able to do it outside. Zuleika was beyond accommodating, communicative, friendly, easy-going, and incredibly organized. She replied to my thousands of questions SO fast and was upbeat and positive the day of the wedding, often reassuring me that the rain will hold off and any issue that came up would be handled. And let me tell you, it was. I had some issues arise the morning of and Zuleika and the venue staff handled it immediately. This venue and the team that work there were the best staff I could have ever asked for. They executed the wedding exactly the way I asked, made sure all family, friends, and wedding party members were exactly where they needed to be and I was not even stressed once during the day. Zuleika handled absolutely everything exceptionally, my only job was to relax and get ready. I cannot believe how smoothly the day went, and how easygoing it was for me as the bride. I thought I would be starving, stressed, and running around LOL it was the complete opposite! I was able to eat my meal (food was SO SO SO good), drink at the bar, spend time with my family and friends, and most importantly, enjoy the best night of my life with my husband. I wish I could relive this day over and over because The Waterview made sure it was absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for a better experience. Zuleika was the absolute best coordinator I could have ever asked for, and I can not rave enough about her. I am so happy that I chose this venue. I cannot wait to go back and visit it over the years. The happiest memories of my life were made there, and I owe it all the to phenomenal staff .

The Waterview This venue was truly the best bridal friendly venue we found. From the moment we saw the venue we knew this was the place, itâs scenic beauty, openness, and seclusion was exactly what we were looking for. The Waterview staff confirmed our initial thoughts, as they were super friendly and pleasant. It was refreshing to have venue that displayed and delivered honest and transparent packages about what we can expect and what they would deliver. They never tried to upsell things we didnât need or want, rather they listened to our vision and made it happen. Zuleika was our coordinator, and we couldnât be any more grateful for her commitment and thoughtfulness to ensure our wedding was spectacular. During the process of planning (our numerous calls, emails, indecisiveness/uncertainty), we felt catered to as if we were the only wedding party Zuleika was taking care of. Zuleika and her team, never disappointed us but instead reassured us and kept the bride (me) calm. The level of attentiveness we received was consistent throughout the process, from day 1 we were assured weâd be able to integrate and enjoy our favorite Jamaican restaurantâs cuisine into our cocktail hour, to making sure the details of my vision/decor for the ceremony and reception weâre carried out, to ensuring we captured the sparkler send off before our photographerâs contract time ended. Right before the ceremony, a minor detail was out of place and Zuleika made sure it was corrected prior to the start of the ceremony. In addition, they worked with us to setup and break down decor items and it was neatly packed for next day pickup.By far, we were beyond blessed to have the Waterview as the venue our wedding. While there are a lot of venues out there, the Waterview is truly a top notice venue thatâs easy to work with and has the best staff. Our guests (200+) have not stopped talking about our wedding. Our guest traveled from near and far (Canada, Florida, Jamaica, New York, Seattle, Houston) and raved about the beautiful views (lake and garden views), the food selection(s)/quality/taste, and staffâs genuine interest to ensure all guest were comfortable. Zuleika and her team even opened up the inside venue to several guests who arrived extra early so they didnât wait outside in the heat. The natural beauty of the venue sitting on the water of Lake Zoar combined with the inside elegant charm is unmatched. Their ability to manage larger weddings seamlessly is phenomenal. The WATERVIEW is âTHE PLACE!âA huge thank you The Waterview, Zuleika, and the whole Waterview staff team!

From day one of planning to the last song of the night, everyone was so helpful and really made it such a special wedding day for my husband and I :) Zeluika our coordinator was wonderful and very responsive to any question we had and helped to make sure our wedding was smooth and stress free. Planning was so easy with them, I highly recommend.

I couldn't recommend a more perfect venue for my NYE wedding. Taylor or team took such good care of my guests throughout the night - the boxed up dinners for guests who needed to leave early, added dessert and late night stations last minute, made the most amazing birthday cake for my father-in-law and the list goes on. I'm so grateful for their monumental role in making my special night so magical!

We looked at 5 venues in our early days of planning, and the Waterview was among the first, so it became the one to beat. I fell in love with the windows in the garden room instantly, and knew that THAT was the place we wanted to get married. We had a 2 1/2 year engagement, so the process was less stressful in general, but the Waterview (Joanna and Kat in particular) made it even less stressful. They were there when I needed them with small and big questions. They were supportive, and helped with the entire process of planning. Kat was assigned to be our venue coordinator and when we met with her 6 months before the wedding, we felt so relieved that everything was falling into place especially with her help. Now, THE FOOD.... usually when venues are all inclusive, the food can be hit or miss, but let me tell you - EVERYONE still mentions the food to us! There was SO MUCH of it. Plus our stations that we added (DO THE FRENCH FRY BAR!!) really kept our guests happy and full. Our bridal attendants were amazing - helping me get out of my dress into my second outfit was clutch! Oh and pro tip - if you book early enough, you can go to multiple showcases and sample food! Really helped us on our decisions for cocktail hour. We really could not have asked for a better venue to work with.

My husband and I could not be more impressed with our experience at The Waterview. Our planner, Taylor, was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. We were switched to Taylor after our original planner had a scheduling conflict. She did a wonderful job stepping in and answering our *many* questions along the way. Taylor helped us create our dream vision and thought of so many details that we wouldn't have considered. You can tell she loves her job and is so great at it. Everyone at The Waterview is so kind and helpful. All our guests were raving about the food, the atmosphere, and the outdoor space. I would 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone!!!

My husband and I could not be more impressed with our experience at The Waterview. Our planner, Taylor, was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. We were switched to Taylor after our original planner had a scheduling conflict. She did a wonderful job stepping in and answering our *many* questions along the way. Taylor helped us create our dream vision and thought of so many details that we wouldn't have considered. You can tell she loves her job and is so great at it. Everyone at The Waterview is so kind and helpful. All our guests were raving about the food, the atmosphere, and the outdoor space. I would 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone!!!

Loved the Waterview! I didn't have to worry about a thing from the day we booked until the day of our wedding in August! The location is gorgeous and the food was excellent. Colin started the process with us, but got promoted about half way through. We were seamlessly transferred to work with Taylor, and she was just as amazing. Our wedding at The Waterview was basically a 2 year process having booked everything in late spring/ early summer 2019 for a June 2020 wedding that had to be postponed to June 2021 due to the pandemic. Everything had basically been planned already for our 2020 wedding before the need to postpone. We'd experienced the food and cake tastings and all the details were pretty much sorted thanks to April and Colin for being so communicative and accommodating. Making the decision to postpone was so heartbreaking because at the start of the pandemic no one knew what was going on or how long it would take to congregate safely again. April was one of the only people left in the office at that point, and she made it so easy to push our wedding out to the same exact weekend a year later. (We were also super lucky that all of our vendors were also available for the new date.) When The Waterview finally reopened and we were in the all clear to resume planning, we picked right back up with Colin where we'd left off. He was there to answer any questions we had, especially ones regarding the health and safety of our family and friends and The Waterview staff. The Waterview was with us every step of the way. They made everything very clear (payment due dates, how and when to drop off personal items for the wedding, the rehearsal, coordinating vendors, etc.) Our ceremony was in the West Side Garden which was so beautiful. It was important to us to be outdoors, especially near the water, and the pergola, garden, and fountains made it like a dream come true. The cocktail hour and reception in the West Side Ballroom which had huge bay windows brought all the beauty of the outdoors inside. Our guests loved the food and the space. Having looked at wedding venues outside of Connecticut, our eyes really opened to find that there are many venues where EVERYTHING is a la carte. It made things soooo easy to find a space as beautiful as The Waterview where everything is included: tables, chairs, linen, cocktail hour, multi-course dinner (by the way, everyone thought the Asian Short Rib Salad was the main course!...nope, more food was coming!), open bar, wedding cake, bridal suite, wedding coordinator, bridal attendants, and more! They were also there to accommodate dietary restrictions and other personal needs for some of our guests. At the end of the night, they helped us gather our belongings and pack everything up including much leftover food. Colin kept things running on schedule and checked in with my husband and I throughout the event to make sure we were okay. It was a night to remember and the entire experience was more than we could have ever asked for!

The wedding package includes SO MUCH food â and the food is phenomenal! Our guests talked so highly of the food â many of them were blown away by how excellent the food was! Kat was our wedding coordinator and I cannot speak more highly of her! She is laid back but professional, knowledgable, and so helpful. With the pandemic canceling our original date, the pressure was on but the staff's exceptional communication skills and flexibility really helped us plan again. I heard that the Waterview was known for their food and according to myself and our guests, I'd have to say this is absolutely true. The variety of stations made it so that all our guests could really enjoy at least some type of cuisine. The venue itself is beautiful including how much natural light comes into the ballroom along with the luscious outdoor ceremony areas. Where do I even begin? There are no words to adequately describe the amount of gratitude my husband and I have for the Waterview and the entire amazing team. We booked our wedding in 2018, and we knew from the moment we walked through the doors, we had found our venue. It truly was the best decision we could have made. When COVID hit, April was extremely patient, understanding, and flexible. We ended up postponing three times and they made the difficult process so much easier for us.We finally got to celebrate our wedding on July 16, 2021. Thanks to the Waterview, it was absolutely worth the wait. Kat was are wedding coordinator and she made all of our dreams come true. She is a true professional and truly cares about her couples. I walked into the ballroom and immediately cried because of how amazing everything looked. Kat, Angela, and the entire Waterview staff did everything they could to make sure our day was nothing short of perfect. They are amazing. Where do I even begin? There are no words to adequately describe the amount of gratitude my husband and I have for the Waterview and the entire amazing team. We booked our wedding in 2018, and we knew from the moment we walked through the doors, we had found our venue. It truly was the best decision we could have made. When COVID hit, April was extremely patient, understanding, and flexible. We ended up postponing three times and they made the difficult process so much easier for us.We finally got to celebrate our wedding on July 16, 2021. Thanks to the Waterview, it was absolutely worth the wait. Kat was are wedding coordinator and she made all of our dreams come true. She is a true professional and truly cares about her couples. I walked into the ballroom and immediately cried because of how amazing everything looked. Kat, Angela, and the entire Waterview staff did everything they could to make sure our day was nothing short of perfect. They are amazing. We are so glad that we chose the Waterview for our wedding day and highly recommend this wonderful venue to anyone looking!

The Waterview was such an incredible venue for our wedding. April and Kat made the process so easy and they made us feel taken care of. They were also so flexible with us considering the pandemic and all the difficulties that came along with rescheduling our wedding day. We had our wedding there on 7/18/2021 and our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was with a picturesque lake backdrop! Our guests also loved all the food, especially the cocktail hour and cake! Everything was delicious! Kat and Angela (my bridal attendant) checked on my husband and I throughout our wedding, always making sure we had a drink in our hands and food to eat. They made me feel at ease and really made the planning process smooth. I would HIGHLY recommend using this venue - they are kind, knowledgeable and personable. I am so happy that I chose this venue and would choose it again!

Beautiful venue both inside and out. Unfortunately we had our wedding inside (in the Garden Room) due to the rain, but the venue let us make the call as late as possible. Luckily we still got photos outside.*Colin (event coordinator) and Amy (bridal attendant) were phenomenal - I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Working with the general manager to postpone our wedding (due to COVID) was a bad experience. She treated me like I was inconveniencing her. Also beware of the high service charge that seemed to come out of nowhere (probably raised due to COVID), but I am glad their staff makes good money because they are truly exceptional. I just wish they were more up front about it - I donât remember it being the same as the all in price we were quoted when we booked. Definitely make sure you book with the Garden Room as a backup in case of inclement weather - they really make it look beautiful if you have to do your ceremony in there.They also did the wrong design on the cake and I didnât like it. Not a huge deal but a small detail that shouldnât have been wrong. I was supposed to have 2 bridal attendants but 1 just introduced herself and I never saw her again. Amy was my only bridal attendant and again was phenomenal.

If you are looking for a venue in a gorgeous setting that will make your wedding day as easy as possible, look no further! Kat & the team at The Waterview go above and beyond in every single way. On our wedding day from the second we arrived at the property the team was at our service, making sure we had everything we needed and that we could relax and enjoy the day. During pictures they brought us drinks & glasses of water, helped me carry my very heavy train and kept everyone on schedule and having fun. Many of our guests stopped us during the night to not only comment on the gorgeous venue but at the quality of the service, it really was like nothing I've ever experienced at any other wedding. We dropped off all of our \"stuff\" in advance and the team set everything up exactly how we wanted and then packed it all up at the ended of the night. We had a late night food station that had a lot of leftovers and the team packed all of that up to send back to the hotel with us along with my husband and I's leftover dinners and a TON of leftover wedding cake. Their attention to detail and level of service is completely unrivaled. You will not regret getting married here!

The building and grounds are GORGEOUS, and although we had to move our July 2019 wedding inside due to a heat wave, they coordinated everything so smoothly and it went off without a hitch. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the wedding cake they provided was both beautiful and delicious. This is the first and biggest (as well as priciest) decision to kick off your wedding planning. The Waterview is a well oiled machine. Making sure your day is exactly how you envisioned. Marie and the entire team I've come into contact with have been extremely helpful throughout the entire process. These are the professionals here people! This beautifully decorated, spacious and clean, along with wonderful accommodations (food is exceptional and let's not forget the view of Lake!). My review is lengthy because I want to take the time to help guide those who may be considering. Long story short, BOOK IT! Longer story below :) My fiance and I viewed 3 total properties in-person. We were wowed by them all but we do have to say, The Waterview establishment was the first place we visited and THE PLACE for us to host the biggest day of our lives. The parking lot, is plenty. The million dollar view of Lake Zoar and panoramic view really excels this location. I wasn't looking for a water view in my reception location, but have to say, it was quite a 'wow' moment and gasp of well, now I NEED a lake to compliment my wedding venue. The chandeliers are extravagant as well as their tableware, chairs and flooring. I have to say I was also impressed by their beautiful wooden bar. Other than the dance floor, this is where a lot of friends and family gather to celebrate. At least my friends and family! The bar was spacious and very inviting. For all these reasons and more, we decided rather quickly, this was the spot for us. What really sealed the deal was their moderate pricing, which has so much value! It made this choice rather easy to make a confident decision. Marie Bedoya was my point of contact and 'unofficial wedding planner.' from the start of planning, to the next mile stone, to next steps Marie and team really kept us on schedule and organized. Marie was very flexible and had patience. I sent numerous emails and pictures along the way and she was very responsive through it all. I felt like she became family. To help execute and provide professional opinions to support our vision was really important to us. Marie and The Waterview team did just that.

The second you walk into the Waterview you will be blown away. The staff is absolutely incredible- from the front desk greeting you with an infectious smile to the wait staff treating you like royalty, to the bartenders signing your guest book. The moment I sat down with April to talk about plans and options, I knew this would be the location where I married my best friend. Planning a wedding was extremely stressful but thank god that I had Colin on my side. I probably messaged him 100 questions a week. Not only did he answer me immediately, he calmed my nerves. All I had to do was submit the names of my vendors and I never had to worry about anything for them. Colin took care of it all. Trust me, taking anything off of your plate is a blessing. The day before the wedding I handed everything over to Colin with full trust that he would make all my of decorations look beautiful. He exceeded all of my expectations, I had guests commenting \"I loved looking at all of your details\" and the \"dĂŠcor was absolutely beautiful\". The day of my wedding was even better than I could have imagined. I had Sara following me around to get my husband and I drinks, to fluff my dress and to make me feel like the most important person on the planet. Gus was there to take care of my entire bridal party-19 people! He was running drinks and making sure their bellies stayed full all night! Colin was there by our side the entire time, to make sure we didn't miss any big moments that we planned, to make sure we ate the amazing food we had selected- which included bringing out a hot steak when you are ready instead of having it sit on your table to turn to ice. Food was extremely important to us, and I had guests raving about the amazing appetizers, loving their meals, drooling over the gelato bar and running to grab a breakfast sandwich at the to go station. I can't say enough great things about this place. You will not regret booking the Waterview as your venue.

We had looked at 12 venues before finding The Waterview on lucky number 13. We are from NJ but The Waterview popped up as an ad on google based on my previous searches. We were leaning towards a venue in PA when I saw the ad and I could not stop thinking about it. I decided to visit The Waterview myself to try to rule it out so I would not wonder if our wedding would have been better there if we chose another venue. I absolutely loved The Waterview and my fiance made the trip back up to CT with me the very next day to see it for himself. He agreed it was the perfect venue and exactly what we were looking for. We did have a vision for our day and we knew we wouldn't find another venue more in line with our vision than The Waterview. What we did not know at the time of our first visit is how incredible the staff would be. There are not enough words to describe how amazing the staff was, especially Kat- the wedding coordinator. I made several trips to The Waterview prior to our wedding to make sure that I had all the information I needed to ensure our wedding day ended up exactly how we had envisioned it. Each visit Kat and the other staff at The Waterview were so kind to me and never made me feel annoying or overbearing. The Wednesday Prior to our wedding day we brought most of our \"stuff\" to the venue and added some lights to the west garden area along with making sure the fabric I created for the arch was properly set up for the day of. It was HOT out. Kat helped us get the fabric on top of the 10 foot tall arch which for the first time was no small feat. We were and still are very appreciative because she did not have to do that at all. The day before the wedding at our rehearsal we were 40 minutes late due to some terrible traffic from NJ. Kat made sure everything went quickly and smoothly and got all of the information I didn't even realize we needed. She walked us through exactly what would happen and I felt confident that the day of it would be simple and easy. Our wedding day was the most perfect day and I truly believe that is thanks to the staff at The Waterview. Our vision really came to life and couldn't have been more in line with what we had envisioned. Our escort cards were in envelopes that the staff hung with mini clothes pins, each guest had a personalized menu and place card at their table, among countless other details planned for the day- all of which were executed perfectly by the staff. Amy and Erin were our amazing bridal attendants and they did not miss a beat. I did not travel to the bar even once as they got me everything I could possibly need and more! George, who was the coordinating assistant, was also amazing and helped to make sure everything ran smoothly. I received so many compliments on our wedding whether it was the amazing food, the intricate detail, the beauty of the venue, how smooth everything went and it is all thanks to The Waterview and their incredible staff. Quite a few people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Do yourself a favor and book The Waterview- you will not regret it and they will help make it the best day of your life.

The Wednesday Prior to our wedding day we brought most of our \"stuff\" to the venue and added some lights to the west garden area along with making sure the fabric I created for the arch was properly set up for the day of. It was HOT out. Kat helped us get the fabric on top of the 10 foot tall arch which for the first time was no small feat. We were and still are very appreciative because she did not have to do that at all. The day before the wedding at our rehearsal we were 40 minutes late due to some terrible traffic from NJ. Kat made sure everything went quickly and smoothly and got all of the information I didn't even realize we needed. She walked us through exactly what would happen and I felt confident that the day of it would be simple and easy. Our wedding day was the most perfect day and I truly believe that is thanks to the staff at The Waterview. Our vision really came to life and couldn't have been more in line with what we had envisioned. Our escort cards were in envelopes that the staff hung with mini clothes pins, each guest had a personalized menu and place card at their table, among countless other details planned for the day- all of which were executed perfectly by the staff. Amy and Erin were our amazing bridal attendants and they did not miss a beat. I did not travel to the bar even once as they got me everything I could possibly need and more! George, who was the coordinating assistant, was also amazing and helped to make sure everything ran smoothly. I received so many compliments on our wedding whether it was the amazing food, the intricate detail, the beauty of the venue, how smooth everything went and it is all thanks to The Waterview and their incredible staff. Quite a few people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Do yourself a favor and book The Waterview- you will not regret it and they will help make it the best day of your life.

We could not have picked a better venue, they were too notch from begining to end. Everyone and everything about this venue was nothing short of incredible. I will highlight a few of the major components. First of all, the physical venue itself is stunning, I got married outside on the west side, and had my ceremony in the west ballroom. I worked with Kat as my main wedding planner for the venue. She was highly attentive to my requests and responded very quickly. From big details to small details she really made the process of planning simple and easy. I was even e-mailing Kat a day or two before the wedding for final details that I had forgotten and she was able to make it happen. The day of, my only job was to show up (after a year of planning this is the best thing to ask for!) The staff was wonderful, they directed all the guests and the bridal party exactly to where they needed to go and when allowing the day to be completely stress free for me. The bridal attendants were absolutely incredible!!!! I can't express this enough. Kat was our coordinator and was absolutely amazing to work with from the very beginning. She was prompt to answer my many wedding related questions, gave suggestions whenever needed and helped to guide me through the wedding planning process. She was always 10 steps ahead and was the best to work with! I seriously appreciate her efforts as I know that the entire process and day would not have gone as smoothly without her. I couldn't imagine having a more perfect wedding than we had and that truly is a result of the Waterview team. They did everything they could to make our wedding day stress free. April M. was wonderful at our consultation and worked with us to make our dream wedding happen at our budget. From there, Kat U. was an all-star coordinator in planning every piece from start to finish. It was incredibly reassuring to have her as our coordinator and knowing she was taking care of everything we needed from napkins to meals and everything in between. On the day of our wedding, the Waterview team not only decorated our entire ceremony and reception with all of the details we provided, but they worked seamlessly with all of our vendors and ensuring we were set for our dream wedding. Angela, our bridal attendant was absolutely incredible. From steaming my wedding dress to following around myself and my now husband with food and drinks to ensure we were eating, she was beyond flawless. There was even another event happening at the same time as our wedding and nobody knew! We had an amazing experience with The Waterview! Kat was so wonderful to work with from start to finish, and was able to accommodate some last minute changes without any fuss. She made the entire process so easy, and everything was seamless on the day of. George and Amy were our attendants on the day of and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening, I didnât have to walk to the bar once the entire night! The bartenders, wait staff, chefs, etc. were pleasant, accommodating, and overall just great to work with. We had an amazing experience with The Waterview! Kat was so wonderful to work with from start to finish, and was able to accommodate some last minute changes without any fuss. She made the entire process so easy, and everything was seamless on the day of. George and Amy were our attendants on the day of and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening, I didnât have to walk to the bar once the entire night! The bartenders, wait staff, chefs, etc. were pleasant, accommodating, and overall just great to work with. The venue itself was gorgeous and the food was AMAZING - even my picky guests couldnât think of a single item to complain about. People raved about the food for days afterwards.

The Waterview was absolutely PERFECT for our wedding! We had the West side (open garden side) for our October 2018 wedding and it was just gorgeous. The view of the lake was amazing and the mums that were used to decorate were just enough to not be overly done (we didn't feel the need to even bring our own decor; it's beautiful on its own!). Our coordinator, Colin, was so, so helpful. He answered emails right away and definitely made me feel confident in his ability to take on our wedding details. When we dropped off our centerpieces the night of the rehearsal, I literally just told Colin what I had and showed him a picture of something similar to what I wanted. He and the staff went above and beyond when it came to decorating the reception room. I nearly cried when I walked in and saw how they decorated the entire room. It was absolutely breathtaking and everything that I had envisioned. We also bought apple cider donuts for our guests to take to their seat and the staff put them on cupcake stands that they provided and made it visually look stunning. I could not be happier with our choice of venue. The food was delicious, the breakfast sandwich bar we had was a hit, and the whole night ran so smoothly for us. The Waterview truly cares about their couples and will do everything to make sure their special day is handled perfectly and without any issues. We highly, highly recommend the Waterview!!!

They were the most responsive venue right from the beginning and when other venues didn't respond to our e-mails or couldn't fit us in for tours, the Waterview responded quickly and scheduled us in ASAP.During the planning process, we loved the tasting/open house night where we could taste the various add-on stations for cocktail hour and dessert, and our planner Kathleen was always just a quick e-mail away and was great in answering any of my seemingly silly questions. She was also able to accommodate a guest with a food allergy with ease and we didn't have to worry about her meal that night at all.On the day of our wedding, the Waterview ran like a well-oiled machine. My two bridal attendants were absolutely wonderful and very sweet, and helped me out wherever they could, literally up until the second I walked out the door at the end of the night! Our bridal suite was always stocked with food and drinks, and Kat was a reassuring presence throughout the day and got everyone exactly where they needed to be. Even the bartenders knew me by name, though my glass never went un-filled as my attendants brought me whatever I needed all night without me even asking. The treatment that we received as bride and groom was just top notch.I can't say enough good thinks about Kat and the Waterview in general. The amount of \"extras\" that are included for the price can't be beat, and afterwards our guests raved about the food and the service which were both wonderful. We got married at the Waterview on 8/25/18 and it was PERFECT. Not only was the venue gorgeous (all my guests commented on it all night!) but the staff there is AMAZING, the food was DELICIOUS and ambiance was just beautiful. Everything went seamless. I worked with Colin who was extremely helpful, answered all my questions even if I emailed him multiple times in a day, he was patient and kind, made me feel right at home every time I came in. They made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, from our FaceTime tour with April (we were living in LA and planning the wedding from across the country, which sounds like a nightmare, but The Waterview made it so easy!) to the day of festivities with Colin. The Waterview was the perfect location to have both our ceremony and reception. The staff, especially Marie our coordinator and Christina who was one of our attendants on our big day, were beyond amazing! We had to change the location of the ceremony last minute due to rain, and Marie so effortlessly pulled everything together including decorating the arch with flowers! They were so efficient and calming that I, who am totally type-A, did not worry about a single thing the entire night! From the champagne when our bridal party first arrived to helping us load the limo at the end of the night everyone was amazing!! And the food!!! My husband and I didnât have a lot of time to eat between talking to everyone, but our guests raved about the food for weeks!! And Marie sent us home with our meals that we didnât touch because we were too busy talking...which was a wonderful thing to have at 2am when you finally have a chance to relax and are starving! The Waterview was the absolute perfect place to have our wedding and we could not have imagined a more perfect day!!

We had our wedding on July 3rd 2018. It was hot and humid, but the Waterview did everything they could to keep us comfortable. Our bridal attendant followed us around with ice water and refreshments while we were taking pictures. Our dog was the flower girl and she even took her outside while we were scrambling to get ready. Colin the coordinator was the best. My father and husband love Twister Tea Half and Half and Colin did a special order of it just to make sure it was at the bar for them. Everyone raved about the food too.

About a month and change after the wedding and we're still hearing about what an incredible time our guests had at the reception, calling it the best they've ever been to. My husband and I were warmly greeted at our limo with our signature drinks. Though the wedding coordinator we'd been working with was sick and couldn't be there, the rest of the staff had everything running as smooth as satin. The food was delicious from cocktail hour to dessert. The staff packed all our stuff for us to grab on our way out. I'd recommend them to anyone and everyone.

She helped us with everything from picking our cake to coordinating the set up of all our reception details. Every bride wants a stress free wedding planning experience and wedding day - ours was exactly that because of Kat and the other staff at the Waterview! They made sure the day ran smoothly, the food and drink were delicious and that every guest was happy. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they've been to! The bridal attendants were also fabulous.. they coordinated with our other vendors to be sure our dinner came out at a time we could eat at least a few bites, made sure we always had drinks in our hand, and made it their priority to give us the best day ever. Our wedding planner Colin Melita was flawless in his preparations and conducted the day's events with professionalism and grace. Atmosphere, food, drinks and staff surpassed all expectations. We lost count how many times our guests raved about the venue and the food during the cocktail hour and the reception. I cannot praise Colin and The Waterview enough, one of the best days of lives executed to perfection!

We were married at The Waterview on June 24th, 2018 and it was an absolutely perfect day from start to finish. Our wedding planner Colin Melita was flawless in his preparations and conducted the day's events with professionalism and grace. Atmosphere, food, drinks and staff surpassed all expectations. We lost count how many times our guests raved about the venue and the food during the cocktail hour and the reception. I cannot praise Colin and The Waterview enough, one of the best days of lives executed to perfection!

We got married at the Waterview on 6/2/18 and we could not have loved it more! The venue itself is beautiful. We were really hoping for an outdoor wedding, but had to have it moved inside due to weather. Honestly, it didn't even matter. Both ceremony spaces are gorgeous. The service, food, and organization of the event were impeccable. My event coordinator Kat was a life saver. She always answered my emails promptly, even if my question was kind of silly. She took every change I made leading up to the wedding in stride, and on the day of she was super on top of everything. My bridal attendants (Jane and Amy) were equally amazing. They coordinated when we would get our meals, boxed up leftovers for us, made sure we and our wedding party had drinks, and even fanned me off when I had to take a break from pictures outside because it was so humid! They were the best. I didn't get a chance to meet them, but I heard from guests that the bartenders were excellent. Friendly and quick to make drinks. I can't thank Kat and her team enough for making my wedding so special!

We got married at the Waterview on 6/2/18 and we could not have loved it more! The venue itself is beautiful. If I could rate this venue 100 stars I would! Our wedding was this past Saturday and it was UNBELIEVABLY incredible! My dream day came to life because of the wonderful staff at this venue and our amazing event coordinator, Kat! Every question or concern prior to the wedding was always answered right away which helps a lot when you have âwedding brainâ. People always told me they never got to eat at their wedding, but I was actually full by dinner! The lovely staff made sure I had food and brought us all drinks during photographs outside. They held my dress when I couldnât. They checked up on us constantly to make sure both my husband and I were happy. Always with a smile asked if we needed anything at all. They packed us extra food to go and boxed everything back up that we were taking home. Even brought it to our car! I highly HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that is looking for perfection on their special day. THANK YOU!

I could not have chosen a better venue for my wedding day. Everything was absolutely beautiful and the staff was excellent. My guests raved about the food and location. Thank you so much to my coordinator Colin for being so helpful, as well as my amazing bridal attendants Christina and Joe. They made sure I was always comfortable and had everything I needed throughout the day. April was excellent to work with as well. It was everything I had imagined it to be. Thank you!!!

Our wedding day would not have been what it was without our amazing coordinator Kat as well as our bridal attendants Angela and Joe! Kat worked with my husband and I on every detail and was so flexible and catered (happily) to every single one of our needs. Angela and Joe were so attentive on our wedding day and were so kind and helpful! The view on the lake is incredible, I was so sad it was too cold for an outside ceremony but our inside ceremony was still so beautiful with the floor to ceiling windows giving our guests a lake view. The food was amazing, bartenders friendly and funny. Our guests had an amazing time! There isnât a single bad thing I could say about this venue.

We got married at the Waterview on 3/16/18. The venue was absolutely stunning. They set up everything beautifully. The staff was so helpful and organized. Colin Melita was very attentive. The staff made both my husband and myself feel special and guided us through the day.

I got married at the Waterview this past January and they blew away my expectations. Our wedding coordinator was Marie and she was AMAZING, and so was everyone on staff. They are responsible, polite, great with all family members young and old, and anticipated my needs before I even knew what I wanted. Marie went above an beyond an even offered to drive and deliver my hair piece to me the morning of the wedding because I had accidentally packed it with my wedding decor at the venue.. she is a real queen! The service we received was truly outstanding, they made me feel like a princess the entire night and I was able to relax in trust in them to do everything from decorate and pack up our belongings at the end of the night (even our leftovers!). It felt so great to finally get to enjoy the day I had been stressing over forever! The biggest thank you ever to Marie, and all the staff at the Waterview for making our day so special.

Our wedding was December 29th at 5:30. The Waterview was beautifully decorated in greens and white lights. The wedding coordinator let us visit 5 times with our wedding planner. Despite having so many weddings each week, it felt like mine was important to her. We also held the ceremony downstairs and she organized all the logistics of that space. The attendants were amazing...we never needed anything. The food was excellent and the Viennese dessert table is so worth the additional cost!!!

Couldnât recommend more. From the staff to the food, everything was perfect. People are still talking about the food/cake and Colin especially made sure our day went perfectly! If I could go back in time I wouldnât change the venue for anything!

Absolutely would recommend the Waterview to anyone! We had our marriage and reception on 1/6/18 at the Waterview; a winter wedding on the coldest night of the (maybe decade) year. We had a flawless experience from beginning to end! Kat was absolutely amazing - I had so many questions throughout and she was so attentive and receptive to all of them! Everything went smoothly, all our decorations were exactly the way I envisioned; the food was amazing, and all of our guests had a wonderful time! I could not recommend Kat & her team at the Waterview enough!
