The Wenbeck at Little Bear is a waterfront wedding venue located in Lewis Center, OH. Set amidst the grounds of Little Bear Golf Club, this picturesque venue is conveniently located close to the Polaris Fashion Shopping District and hotels. The Wenbeck at Little Bear is home to a modern and refined event space made for marking life's milestone moments. You can begin your day in plush get-ready suite, affording you and your wedding party the chance to pamper and beautify in comfortable and stylish surroundings. The entrance area is lofty and bright, with high ceilings and an ornate stone fireplace to set the tone for sophisticated celebrations. You can say "I do" in the elegantly appointed pavilion, complete with heating, lighting, ceiling fans, and retractable glass doors. The Pavillion overlooks a 3,000-square-foot patio that oversees one of three ponds on the grounds of this estate. The Wenbeck Ballroom is transformed for evening receptions of up to 200 friends and family members. It boasts a spacious dance floor and a large projection screen that can be incorporated for speeches and entertainment. You can combine the pavilion and indoor ballroom for your special day, with dancing taking place under the stars by the waterfront. I can promise you that there are no words to describe how incredible The Wenbeck’s team and staff are when it comes to planning your wedding. Future brides and grooms- look no further. From the very moment we stepped foot on the venue for a tour, we were greeted with warmth, kindness, excitement, and such professionalism. Skyler and John are a perfect couple to work with, I feel like I have become friends with them over the last year that I planned my wedding. They are responsive, they are adaptive, they offer advice, they offer creativity, and they will go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. A prime example is the fact that John and Skyler welcomed their first baby 3 weeks prior to my wedding, and they never missed a beat. I swear these two people are super heroes. The venue at The Wenbeck is SPECTACULAR. It’s gorgeous, spacious, and has everything you need. We had so many compliments on how gorgeous our venue was and how incredible and helpful the staff was at the Wenbeck. The venue is very accessible, it’s in a great location, there is plenty of parking, and has prime views of a gorgeous sunset view. When booking our venue, we were sold on how awesome Skyler and John were. We knew that booking with them meant we were getting top tier communication and great service. We were not wrong. They are the sole reason I felt so calm and collected the week leading up to my wedding, and during my reception. I feel like I could write a novel on these two and their wonderful business. I have so many good things to say about Skyler, John, and The Wenbeck at Little Bear Golf Club! My husband and I were considering having our wedding here but had a very short engagement (about 3 months). Skyler answered all of our questions and was so communicative and efficient. My mom and I enjoyed the detailed walkthrough we had at the venue and Skyler’s personability and attention to detail helped us feel confident about our choice.\tThe venue is accessible for guests who aren’t as mobile (elevator and golf carts for transporting people to and from the pavilion) and the climate controlled pavilion made it a perfect fit (we had an afternoon shower that we didn’t have to worry about). We and our guests loved getting to play mini golf during the cocktail hour. Additionally, the second-floor reception hall has a wonderful balcony for guests to get away from the noise and enjoy the west/sunset-facing view. This venue also has a large kitchen and reception hall to comfortably accommodate 180 guests (we had about 175). Not to mention, they have a NICE sized dance floor!\tFor looks and photos, this venue delivered! We were fortunate enough to have a gorgeous sunset and many paces for wonderful photo opportunities. The getting ready rooms were also perfect to accommodate over 8 people each. So many of our guests had wonderful things to say about this gem of a venue that’s tucked away in Lewis Center!

I highly recommend The Wenbeck for your wedding ceremony and reception. We hosted our daughter’s wedding this July and it was lovely! The ceremony was held in the open-air pavilion overlooking the lake and golf course which made for great pictures. The reception was held in the beautiful upstairs ballroom with an outdoor terrace. Everything was set up as requested and looked amazing. They even helped our older guests get in and out of the parking lot with an employee-driven golf cart. The owners/ managers, Skyler and her husband John, were wonderful to work with and helped us through several vendor and décor decisions, but most importantly helped with the flow of events for both the rehearsal and wedding day. We hosted a fun and casual rehearsal dinner at the bar and grille on-site, while also playing putt-putt. We had a ton of fun!

Skyler and John, the venue owners/managers, were SO amazing. They were very communicative and easy to work with, and they made the wedding venue portion of planning so easy! I was able to tour the venue multiple times, they were so helpful and informative, and really helped calm my nerves and anxiety answering what must've been a hundred questions.The venue itself is exactly what we were looking for - the outdoor ceremony area overlooks the water and even has an outdoor open air pavilion as a rain/weather option. We ended up holding our wedding underneath the pavilion with all the doors open, the cross-breeze made the 90+ degree heat feel like a perfect 75 degree day. The inside reception space held our 128 comfortably, and the ceilings are high enough for the chair lifting in the hora (if anyone is curious). In addition to the buffet tables, we even had room for additional tables in the reception space for desserts, cards/gifts, etc. The lobby is also absolutely gorgeous with the stone fireplace and double doors. The sun sets over the large patio connected to the reception hall, creating perfect golden hour lighting both outside and in the reception hall. The outdoor area provides great background for pictures, and everything is so clean and pristine that we didn't want extra outdoor ceremony decorations to take away from the landscape and scenery. There is even a putting course we were able to rent out during cocktail hour, a unique experience that many of our guests loved! 10/10 and 100% recommend the location and the owners - we'd love to work with them again and host an event there in the future!!

We performed our daughter’s wedding on May 28, 2023, and from the beginning, Skyler was involved and understood my daughter’s and her fiance’s vision and worked hard to make the day a great success. She made us feel that our daughter’s wedding was her only priority. Wenbeck is an excellent venue for weddings. We, along with the groom’s parents, fell in love with the location, the ability to have an outdoor or an indoor ceremony, and the well-maintained golf course grounds created a stunning backdrop for photos and video. The dining/reception/dancing areas and the inviting entrance to the lobby were spot on. Check out Wenbeck. Skyler and John will help make your next big event a big hit.

The venue is so gorgeous! It was the first and only venue we looked at. It was important to us to find a venue that allowed outside caterers and Little Bear did! Skyler is incredible, and I had some family members that had trouble walking to they drove them around on the golf cart. And they respond to emails so rapidly! I highly recommend choosing this venue!

The Wenbeck was a great space for our fall wedding of about 85 guests! We picked this venue mainly because it gave us choice with our catering company (they provide the bar packages and setup so keep that in mind if you'd rather be able to BYOB for your wedding). My fiancé and I had to plan our wedding from afar since we lived out of state, but Skyler was super responsive with my questions and very understanding with our changes during the wedding planning process. We had a chair mishap with another vendor the night before, but luckily, Skyler was able to help us resolve it quickly and was able to help us make some last-minutes accommodations. Additionally, she was friendly and gracious throughout the entire process, which made wedding planning a lot less stressful. The space provided a lot of flexibility and convenience; we wanted to have our ceremony and reception at the same place so our guests wouldn't have to do too much driving. Since it was slightly on the chilly side on our wedding day, the ceremony pavilion was perfect for us, but if it had been warmer, having the ceremony right in front of the water would have been an option, too. We did take our photos there and the water was a beautiful backdrop! Our guests enjoyed the balcony space and putt-putt during our cocktail hour. The reception space was the perfect size for our guest count. The bridal suite was great for us to get ready in and had multiple ways of getting in and out to avoid being seen before the ceremony! We used Sheraton as our hotel for our guests, which was about 10 minutes away from the venue, but there were also a decent number of Airbnbs near the area that you could rent as well. Overall, I highly recommend this as a wedding venue!

Wenbeck at Little Bear was an amazing place for my daughter’s engagement ceremony followed by party. The price is very affordable, but the location and view seems like it should be worth a lot more. The brand-new pavilion is amazing and beautiful, as well as the ceremony space directly in front of the water. More importantly, Skyler and John were incredible to work with. Skyler is extremely knowledgable about the wedding planning process and made it a seamless experience. As a bride, I felt zero stress. They did an amazing job of shielding me from little fires that popped up throughout the day. I wish I could give more than five stars!

John And Skyler were awesome! They accommodated us in every way possible. The scenery was great, We really appreciate them for making me and wife’s day even more special and we definitely would love to host another even here !

I really wish I could give the Wenbeck more stars! Skyler was so, so helpful with the entire process, and as a bride we all know how stressful wedding planning can be. I remember the first moment walking in to the venue and knowing immediately that this was the one! Not only is the space very beautiful inside, the outdoor facilities were very gorgeous too. There is so much parking and it’s such an easy facility to navigate so your guests will be able to come and go with ease. The bridal suite was my favorite part, the decorations in the space really made you feel like a queen. Skyler and her fiancé were so helpful with our needs and wishes to make our special day very memorable, and I couldn’t thank them enough!

Absolutely beautiful venue!! Skyler was an absolute dream to coordinate with!! She was very prompt with all of our questions and extremely patient!! She made sure our special day was perfect!!! We couldn't have picked a better venue!!

I can’t begin to say enough good things about this venue. With the coronavirus pandemic; the venue we planned for decided to close their doors permanently leaving my husband and I to try to find another venue in a month and half time before our wedding. I decided to get on the knot and found Wenbeck at Little Bear. I emailed Skyler and she got back to me very promptly and was very professional and gave me so many details about the venue that any bride would love to have. She was very patient and kind. She got us in the next day to tour the venue. Skyler and her fiancé John showed us around the venue and was pleased to answer our questions and made us feelvery comfortable. They were upfront with us about all of our options and prices of everything and what the venue was working on updating the venue. We decided to have our wedding ceremony outside on the golf course! Up until the wedding ceremony; Skyler kept me updated on everything and continued to answer any questions I had a long the way. Working with them, was such a great experience; was easy and I was relaxed and didn’t worry about anything. Also, to add; we just did the ceremony there and it included getting ready in their beautiful bridal suite. It is decorated so nice and it was spacious and my bridesmaids and I enjoyed our time getting ready in there. On wedding day; Skyler and John were so helpful and were so accommodating and helped out when they could. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding ceremony and reception!!
