We hosted a wedding at the Westin and were very pleased. Food was fantastic, staff was professional and very accommodating.Event staff answered all our questions and emails in a timely manner. They made the wedding very easy to plan and helped us every step of the way! We hosted a wedding at the Westin and were very pleased. Food was fantastic, staff was professional and very accommodating.Event staff answered all our questions and emails in a timely manner. Erica and the entire staff at the Westin were absolutely amazing for our wedding reception this past June. We immediately fell in love with the venue! Erica especially made the whole process a piece of cake in planning. Iāve never met someone so prompt in responding to any question along the way, and also make all my visions come to life!! We honestly picked the venue based on our first time meeting her. Not only was the planning wonderful, but the food was a hit!! Everyone raved about the food, and still talks about it months later. And lastly, the get ready room was to die for and hotel rooms have such a wonderful view of the lake/browns stadium. I highly recommend hosting your reception there!

Erica and the entire staff at the Westin were absolutely amazing for our wedding reception this past June. We immediately fell in love with the venue! The sales team at the Westin was great to work with for our daughters wedding block! Erica and team were great with their communication and helped us out with every last minute request! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hospitality to all of our guests was fantastic!

I honestly don't even know where to start, from when we toured The Westin my fiance and I fell in love with the venue and could already envision what the wedding would look like. It became even better working with Erica, she was so communicative and promptly responded to any questions. When it came to start actually planning, we met to go over details and menu at the same time which answered so many questions in one sitting. The bridal getting ready space is immaculate, with a large space and huge windows. For reference we had three hair dressers and three makeup artists working simultaneously and nobody was lacking space. With the package we chose, my fiance was able to get ready in a penthouse suite that also had huge windows. The reception was stunning and so well run. There were never too long of lines at the bar and the staff was accommodating and helpful. There is not enough good things to say about the food either. It was perfectly cooked and exactly what we had imagined. This was the perfect venue for us and I am so thrilled to have met Erica and worked with her!

10/10 recommend having your wedding at the Westin. Working with Erica was wonderful- she is so amazing to work with and makes sure that nothing is missed, and answers everything so quickly. Our wedding went off without a hitch and guests said it was the best location, food, venue they have been to! We got married around the corner and having your reception here allows access to the executive suite for getting ready- it was amazing. Having your wedding at the Westin is a no brainer- you should do it!

The whole team at the Westin from our event manager to the waitstaff and bartenders were so helpful, gracious, and kind. The ballroom space was beautiful, and we had an awesome (and huge) getting ready space that was soo helpful throughout our wedding weekend. Food was good and there were lots of great menu options to choose from. Great location right in downtown near awesome photo spots and bars/restaurants. Our suite and the guest rooms were very nice!

The Westin staff was AMAZING throughout our entire wedding weekend. Everything was set up exactly how I asked them to do so, the service was incredible, and our guests couldn't say enough about the venue as a whole. Even the valet drivers, hotel security, front desk workers, and the hotel bar staff were impressive! Erica Wolfe (Catering Sales Manager) was there throughout the entire weekend making sure the wedding formalities began on time and ran smoothly. She also boxed up appetizers and had them at the table for my husband and I, knowing we did not get the chance to eat during cocktail hour. She did the same with the midnight snack to make sure we got some of that, too! Overall, it was the best party ever and we couldn't have given our guests that kind of experience anywhere else! Thank you, Westin Cleveland!!

The best decision we made was booking at The Westin.Erica and her team are OUT OF THIS WORLD. My husband and I are not local so this was a little difficult but Erica and her team made this seamless for us. The accommodations were absolutely perfect.One of our biggest compliments was how amazing the food was- and we had about 220 people so no easy task. We looked at about 7 Cleveland venues and none came close to the Westin. Our photos are stunning. It was an absolute dream. As a type A bride who planned her wedding in 10 months- this is your place! I canāt say enough good things!

The Westin is THE place to have your wedding reception, period. The staff at the hotel are the most accommodating folks Iāve ever had the pleasure of working with, but especially Erica Wolfe, Chef Darryl, and Rose Johnson. Every detail of our reception was planned for, listened to, and accommodated for without any issues. Erica Wolfe, the catering sales manager handled every detail and made everything so seamless for our big day. She went out of her way to answer all of our questions and really listened to what we were looking for. She even let my mother-in-law bake and bring our wedding cake which was just one of the many special touches we received at the Westin. Chef Darryl cooked us the most AMAZING meal for our dinner. Seriously. The food at the Westin is to die for. The filet was perfectly cooked, the chicken was juicy and packed with flavor, and the vegetables were unbelievable. The orchid ballroom we had our party in had plenty of room to accommodate all 120 of our guests but the room can hold at least double, maybe even triple that amount of people very comfortably. There is a staircase to make a grand entrance. Everything was so elegant and timeless. The rooms at the Westin were amazing as well. We got set up in the Penthouse as a complimentary upgrade and all of our guests were given an amazing block rate so things were affordable. Rose Johnson went out of her way to manage the floor during and after the reception. Itās the little details that stay with you. She remembered everyoneās name and even greeted me with a hot cup of decaf coffee with whole milk the day after the reception because she knew that is what I liked. If you are considering having a wedding ceremony or reception in 2023, 2024, 2025 or beyond, look no further than the Westin. They were not only accommodating, but they were the most affordable option we came across in the downtown Cleveland area. The Westin knows how to take care of one of the most important days of your life professionally, seamlessly, and make everything perfect and then some. We cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and accommodations.

Every detail was perfect, the food was spectacular and our guests had an incredible time. We worked with Erica through the whole planning process and she was also there as our day of coordinator and she really is an expert at the craft - she was on top of everything from answering our many questions to asking all of the ones we would never have thought of. I am so happy we chose this hotel as our venue and highly recommend it for anyone looking at having a hotel wedding in Cleveland.

I worked with Erica Wolfe throughout my entire wedding planning process and she was absolutely incredible. She was beyond accommodating and made my wedding experience so wonderful! Not only did she walk us through this crazy process step by step, but she was always quick to answer any questions I had and meet any and all my needs! Ladies, this venue is BEYOND gorgeous. From the ballroom to the get ready room to the bar downstairs- itās an absolute dream venue for a bride who loves ALL the views. When I tell you the get ready room is to DIE FOR, I mean it! Beautiful open windows looking out over the lake and the Browns Stadium! Plus an open glass staircase separating two floors of GORGEOUS decor and views. The get ready room was the first thing I showed all my girls/friends the night before our wedding. To top it all offā¦ that room is complimentary when you book the Westin as your venue! Itās truly a brideās dream!! The ballroom is absolutely fabulous- especially the beautiful chandeliers that look like rings (definitely fitting!!) Erica worked with us to keep the downstairs bar open until 2 am for our guests and it was the PERFECT after party to continue celebrating and didnāt require any traveling for our guests! If you have the opportunity to request the penthouse for your wedding night, I HIGHLY recommend it- that room was like 3 rooms in one and BEYOND stunning. The penthouse was truly the icing on the cake (pun intended) š If I havenāt convinced you already, please just set up a meeting with Erica and I promise you will be sold!!

She responds to emails in a timely manner, her and the team were so friendly every time we met (menu tasting, touring, set up, and the wedding), and months later we still have so many guests talking about our wedding food. The are absolutely so accommodating to any needs and they exceeded all of my expectations. 100000% would recommend any function at The Westin!!!!

We worked with Erica Bill and she was fantastic to work with. we booked our original block before COVID and had to postpone and rebook twice. While we didn't have our wedding at the Westin, we used them for our hotel block, honeymoon suite and first look spot. The sales team and event planners were wonderful (especially Erica). They made special accommodations for our smaller guest room block than other hotels, who didn't give us the time of day. Chef also made sure to save some of our favorite appetizers for us since they go so fast during cocktail hour. My husband and I unfortunately fell victim to navigating our wedding during COVID. Erica and Erin at The Westin were so kind and understanding each time we had to reschedule (I think a total of 3?). We were finally able to hold our reception in October and it really was everything we hoped for and more. We had so much great help from Erica and Erin throughout the planning process, we loved the tasting, and were so happy with how it all went. Our guests raved about the food coming out hot and being delicious - which is no easy feat for 200+ people. The ballroom was stunning - a total show stopper when all of our guests walked in. Additionally, the convenience that came with holding our reception in a hotel was a bigger deal than we initially realized. It made for such a smooth day.We've been saying since the reception that if we had to do it again, we wouldn't change anything. It was that great. All around a 10/10 for us!

I literally don't know where to even start with the Westin! At first I did not want a hotel ballroom reception, but after looking at a few other venues and doing the math, many places would be way more expensive with things we'd have to purchase, where it would be included at the Westin. There were a few hiccups and miscommunications in the middle of the planning process that were covid/staffing related that really weren't their fault and was probably happening at most wedding venues. Every person on their team that was handling our event was extremely professional, hospitable, accommodating and overall amazing. Even during the tasting, we knew we were in good hands. In the days leading up there wasn't a question unanswered, a concern unmet, and we could bring all decor ahead of time. The day of was flawless and if there was something wrong.. I still don't know about it because it was handled by Erica, the venue coordinator and my wedding planner. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how phenomenal the food was, bar service was great, staff was excellent and overall the room was amazing. Their staff went above and beyond to set up some rental centerpieces, escort cards, take care of the Pipe & Drape background and truly bring everything together - to the point that my fiance even shed a tear. The room block went swimmingly and even the next day welcome breakfast was not your average continental - they reused our centerpieces and welcome signage and felt like it was the reception 2.0! Erica is by far the BEST and most important person you want on your team - she is personable, prompt and can literally help you with any potential situation or vision. I told everyone she is a rockstar and I mean it 1000%. I went from someone who was skeptical and thought hotel ballrooms were outdated to a true believer and would never have wished for anything else. My one and only comment is to replace that carpet! It was my only grievance and thought it was very loud for a wedding reception space.. but come day of.. I barely noticed it.

From the fabulous upgrade to the bottle of champagne and personal note waiting for us when we arrived, the entire experience was perfect. Because of Covid, we had to push our wedding back. Gary went above and beyond for me including answering my 100 questions about logistics, setup a day after grab and go breakfast option for our guests, ensured my room had makeup chairs and mirrors for my bridal party to get ready together on Saturday morning and was incredibly communicative. My Husband and I were even upgraded our last night at the hotel so we didn't have to switch rooms on Sunday, which was greatly appreciated. 10/10 would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling from out of town. One thing that wasn't in the control of the hotel that would have made it better is if the steakhouse /bar and starbucks were open, but due to COVID they were still shut down. Nevertheless would still recommend staying here.

This hotel was very nice and served the needs of my wedding party well. They also had a nice space for my wife and I to do our first look. Unfortunately, the attached restaurant and Starbucks were closed due to the pandemic. The hotel event staff were very accommodating as we made pandemic-related changes to our wedding, including changing the number of rooms in our block and the possibility to use hotel space for our rehearsal dinner, which we didn't end up needing but it was nice to have the option. My only complaint with this hotel is the valet-only parking; a self-park option would be nice, especially since the parking garage is attached to the building. The valet pull-in is small and just being able to pull into the garage yourself would alleviate congestion.

I am a very picky person - and the Westin was the best location in cleveland for our wedding hotel block! For the early planners like myself, it was a dream. Some other locations would only begin to reserve a year or less out, and the Westin was able to secure my block a year and a half before the wedding. The rate was also super awesome! They give the bride and groom a grand suite for the price of a standard room, which makes this a no brainer. All of the grand suites adjoin next to a room with two queens, so if you need additional space to get ready in the room, have a friend request the room next to you, it works perfectly! We had 10 people across both rooms, and it felt spacious. The room blocks hold 20 rooms, and there is no obligation to fill them, which is a relief! Erica, the current event coordinator at the Westin, is a DREAM to work with! She was super responsive, very accommodating, and I never felt like I was burdening her! Since she knew we were getting ready in our room, they equipped the room with additional mirrors, chairs, and 8 champagne glasses! My room request was honored and I got the lake view suite. The view was perfect and we had the perfect lighting for photos in the room. Book the Westin, you wonāt regret it!!!

I am a very picky person - and the Westin was the best location in cleveland for our wedding hotel block! For the early planners like myself, it was a dream. Some other locations would only begin to reserve a year or less out, and the Westin was able to secure my block a year and a half before the wedding. The rate was also super awesome! They give the bride and groom a grand suite for the price of a standard room, which makes this a no brainer. All of the grand suites adjoin next to a room with two queens, so if you need additional space to get ready in the room, have a friend request the room next to you, it works perfectly! We had 10 people across both rooms, and it felt spacious. The room blocks hold 20 rooms, and there is no obligation to fill them, which is a relief! Erica, the current event coordinator at the Westin, is a DREAM to work with! She was super responsive, very accommodating, and I never felt like I was burdening her! Since she knew we were getting ready in our room, they equipped the room with additional mirrors, chairs, and 8 champagne glasses! My room request was honored and I got the lake view suite. The view was perfect and we had the perfect lighting for photos in the room. Book the Westin, you wonāt regret it!!!

The Westin Cleveland Downtown is a wonderful place to have a wedding. Not only is it a beautiful hotel (the chandeliers in the ballroom are breathtaking and all the guests were talking about them), but the people who work there make everything so easy. It's obvious they know what they're doing and Melanie is so great. She made time for us whenever we felt like we needed to meet up to go over details. She remembered things that I wanted that even I forgot about at times. Everybody there was just amazing and made the night spectacular. Another great thing about this venue is the food!!! So many people have come up to me since and tell me it's the best food they've ever had at a wedding (the taste testing evening is also super fun and enjoyable). All in all, if you're looking for a venue for your wedding where you know you will be working with experienced professionals that will have your night run as smoothly as possible, go with the Westin. Their staff went above and beyond to make the couple's day special! Every single thing about the Westin Cleveland Downtown was incredible. Our coordinator was responsive, detail oriented, and very relaxed. When I was anxious about details she assured me that what I wanted would happen and that she would take care of everything. The food the Westin provided was delicious and the ballroom was one of the coolest spaces (the lighting!!!!). During our reception, our coordinator was there for anything we needed. They made sure we ate first so we could go to each table, the staff made sure we always had a drink in hand, and they made sure our card box, presents, and my veil were taken upstairs to the room so no one would have to leave the reception.

Iām not sure that I can put into words how happy my husband and I were with our decision to have our reception at the Westin Downtown Cleveland. The evening was more perfect than we could have imagined thanks to the amazing staff, especially our wedding planner, Melanie. Melanie went above and beyond to ensure our night went smoothly. She was so calm and organized- I just knew I could trust her! She took care of every detail. I wish all brides could have a Melanie! My husband and I had special requests when it came to the food and alcohol, all of which the Westin accommodated. The ballroom and cocktail area were so beautifully decorated- not one detail was missed. The food and drinks were amazing- I received so many compliments from our guests. Many of our guests also complimented the Westin accommodations and how wonderful the staff treated them during our wedding weekend. It still makes me smile knowing that our guests had just as amazing of a weekend as we did. The hotel itself is so beautiful, neat and clean. I chose to stay in the penthouse for the weekend- I would highly recommended it! It was the perfect space for my bridal party to get ready in- the view, the light, the furniture- all perfect. It is very spacious and comfortable. I canāt thank the Westin enough for making our wedding so special- it is a weekend that my husband and I will cherish for the rest of our lives.

The Westin was a fantastic venue that went above and beyond all of our expectations! They were incredibly accommodating to all of our requests and answered all of our questions in an extremely timely manner. We felt very valued and our event manager Melanie was awesome! I can't recommend this venue enough. Great views of the city, great food, and extremely friendly staff. All of our guests had a great time and loved the hotel and accommodations.

The Westin was a fantastic venue that went above and beyond all of our expectations! They were incredibly accommodating to all of our requests and answered all of our questions in an extremely timely manner. We felt very valued and our event manager Melanie was awesome! I can't recommend this venue enough. Great views of the city, great food, and extremely friendly staff. All of our guests had a great time and loved the hotel and accommodations.

The Westin is hands down the best place to have a wedding. They were beyond acomadating and made sure everything was perfect for us. The food and service was amazing. We even had our rehearsal dinner there which was fantastic as well.

I cannot say ENOUGH about the Westin! It was truly the most amazing wedding venue for our reception. Every detail and every request was met with the kindest and promptest response. We have had more friends and family tell us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, not to mention the BEST wedding they've been to in years! I cannot thank Melanie O'Donnell and Monica Dvorak enough for their assistance during the planning process. They went above and beyond ALL of our expectations, even after the wedding was over. Simply put, an exquisite, unique venue in Cleveland to hold your wedding events!!

We had our wedding reception at the Westin Hotel in downtown Cleveland and it was absolutely amazing - best decision we ever made! The hotel in general was a easy choice for our guests because it is just so modern and elegant. And the bridal suite? Breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking. The Westin's wedding package is stacked with a bunch of great stuff from complimentary cake cutting and serving, champagne toast, and even a stay at the Westin hotel for our one year anniversary - which we are excited for next year! They also assign you a wedding coordinator to help with organizing everything with respect to the hotel (talk with your vendors, etc.) for your big day which is wonderful because it took a lot of the stress off of us. Our wedding coordinator Melanie was readily available to answer any and all questions and did a terrific job helping us plan for the big day. We had a rather large head count and the Orchid ballroom there is large enough to comfortably fit a lot of tables and people without feeling cramped. The cocktail hour space had a lot of great natural lighting through big windows and there were plenty of bars and staff during cocktail hour and the reception so people were not waiting. If we had to do it all again, we would still pick the Westin hotel. We were so impressed with how gorgeous everything turned out and we still get compliments to this day. It was worth every penny!

The people at the Westin Cleveland were very nice, helpful and competent! Our rooms were all held at an extremely low rate. The welcome bags all delivered to the correct parties even though they had 5 weddings that weekend. The brunch was set up beautifully and was delicious !! The rooms were clean, spacious and beautiful ! Only good things to say about the Westin!

I had my wedding reception at the Westin Cleveland Downtown in July and my wedding coordinator Melanie and her team were just wonderful!!! Melanie was super responsive to all my emails, and had a very calming presence whenever we met in person. She made the entire experience enjoyable and easy to manage...which is saying a lot since wedding events can be very hectic. Every guest who stayed at the Westin overnight had nothing, but positive things to say about the event, hotel and service staff. This was fantastic to hear as the bride and host since I no longer live in Cleveland and did all my arrangements out of town. I would highly recommend Melanie and the Westin team if you're looking to host an event.

We just hosted our daughters wedding reception here and I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience we had at The Westin. Kyla and Melanie were wonderful to work with and Captain T and Travis took amazing care of us during the event. The attention to detail and hospitality they provided made it such an amazing experience for ourselves and all of our guests. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was so good and all of our guests said that they had NEVER been to a wedding with food that good. There are just not enough words to express our satisfaction with the entire experience from booking to execution. Melanie and Kyla always answered questions quickly and in depth and I felt very comfortable that no detail was missed and it wasn't. This venue is worth every penny.

The food was phenomenal (we had filet/shrimp duet plates, an ice cream bar with a cake station, and late night snacks!) and Melanie and Kyla were wonderful to work with during the entire planning process. The reception was perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue!

Our experience working with the Westin was wonderful. We chose this venue during their construction stages and took a hard hat tour of the space before it was completed. They were extremely reassuring that the space would be exactly what we envisioned, and our wedding day would be a great event at their hotel. They were right - it was better! The hotel is incredibly clean, modern, and chic, and highlights the revamping of Cleveland, Ohio. We had minor complications to figure out during our planning process, mainly due to the newness of the hotel and being one of the first weddings, but overall the service was top notch. Kyla Gala was our consultant and was very responsive, patient, and always willing to make adjustments to make the wedding perfect. The day wouldn't have gone so smoothly without her and the staff during our wedding reception provided exceptional service. Highly recommended for fellow brides looking to host a Cleveland wedding!

I feel in love with the Westin Downtown Cleveland before they were even open. The space is trendy and elegant all at the same time. And the staff were such a delight to work with. The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous and the chandeliers look like wedding rings. From the valet staff to catering, they made my day a breeze. The space is large and they can accommodate many different layouts. The food is delicious and during the reception the staff went above and beyond. If you want a worry free reception and a space that will make your day seem magical then I would recommend the Westin to any bride.
